I have a Tata Sky DTH connection in the name of Tensy Jose. ID number is [protected].
I had made a request for a zeetos product on september 27, 2012. The request ID is RP[protected] and I received a message confirmation of the same. Zeetos points were deducted and service charges were also deducted immediately. Till date no product has been delivered. I have made several complaints to the helplines - both online and via telephone. For many months, nobody bothered to call back inspite of their usual quoted line that somebody will get back to you shortly.
It is very harrassing for us customers if you have no value for the customer.
It is not a fault on our side. It is totally your negligence and lack of respect to the customers. I have wasted a lot of time and money making these complaints and to no use ultimately. There should be the same promptness shown in these things as is seen in disconnecting the connection on due date of payment and deducting service charges for no service rendered at all. At least the courtesy call to explain that there would be some delay and the valid reasons regarding this.
Ultimately i get a call from some Anil from marketing team saying that they will get back within 24 hours. This happened last week 29/11/12. No response so far.
I need some compensation for all this trouble and harrassment from Tata Sky made in this regard.
The latest complaint number is 1-[protected]. Made 5 minutes back.
Somebody please take some speedy action.

    My TATA SKY customer id is [protected].I came to understand that my a/c has been activated with ACTIVE MUSIC on 18th November,2012.& a sum of Rs35=00 has been deducted without my consent.Moreover my pack was of Rs180=00 per month & the same has been raised to Rs200=00per month again without any information & without my consent.
    The party should refund the amount drducted without my consent & discontinue the ACTIVE MUSIC immediately.

        Dear Sir,

        I Was the Only Person In Our Circle Who Admired a Lot to TATA Due to Ethics, But Some 50 Days back I Installed New TAT SKY HD+ Connection at My Residence & Within 2 to 3 Days This Set Top Box Hangs Frequently. We Had Discussed Several Times With Customer Care, Some time Problem Solved Same Day & Some Times Next day. But 15 days Back This Set Top Box Stopped Working Permanently. We Logged Complaint at Customer Care , One Technical Person Came to Us & he said We Don’t Have Any Option We have To Replace This Box. He Committed That we will Receive New Box Within 2 Days.
        We Called Several Times , But After 10 Days When We Not Received The Box, We Complaint to There Nodal Officer, We had Not Received any Reply (Even We had Not Received Auto Generated Mail).
        All Of Sudden Today[protected] we Received One SMS That Your problem Is Resolved. I were Surprised & We called to Customer care Then They said That On the System its Showing That Your Problem is Resolved, Then I Really Understand That There is Bo Difference Between TAT & Any ordinary Company Even If You will Take Follow Up I Think You will get problem solved in Any Other Company. Don’t Surprise that How TATA People is Doing These Unethical practices . we had mail it to TRAI, But I am Sure That we will Not Get Any Resolution from TRAI Also.

            I am facing the problem in Network signal
            Most of the channels are not running like Movie Channels,Songs Channels, News Channels, Sports Channels

            Just 2 days back I had registered the complain regarding this and one of the tele sales representative told me that with 2 days somebody will visit ure place and rectify your problem but till now I am not getting any feedback from you People

            Kindly send somebody for picking your setup box I have already made the call to airtel and by the end of day they will install airtel connection at my premises. I want this month my recharge ammount back from you people because I am not able to view your services properly. I am fedup with your services there are not any action taken by you people while registering so many complaint against the services. The most important thing that if you people are not able to solve the problem then there are not any need to make me phone call that Sir we resolve your problem ASAP. You people have very pathetic services and have wrong field engineer they don't have courtesy to resolve the customer's problem because they did not want to visit the client place they are manipulating with your services

            TAT Sky — Feedback of customers and need for solution

            Respected Sir,

            Happy Diwali to you and your family.

            I am living in Rajasthan and recently have become the subscriber of TATA Sky. Therefore I would like to give feedback on this.

            Sir, the picture quality is really good than the cable we had earlier. But sorry to say that except this nothing is enough or at the level of satisfaction.

            Let me explain it: -

            I am all talking about the channels are being provided by the TATA SKY. You are providing India TV, Star Plus and some more channels (10+) in Rs.100/ month, which are not enough since new generation is not watching these channels only.

            In terms of your another scheme of Rs.200/month, I would like to say that you are providing 50+ channels in Rs.200/month, but sir your kind attention is invited towards one fact that out of 50+ channels only 20-25 channels are watchable, mean to say that Sony, Max, (being watched by all age group people) Star One, Star Plus, Sahara, Zee TV, Zee News, Star News, Aaj Tak, (being watched by 20-50 above age group people) Disney, Toon Disney, Discovery Animal Planet, Star Gold, Utsav, Zee Cinema (being watched by 15-30 age group people) are watched every day by people, except these channels lots of regional channels (tamil, urdu panjabi, malyalam and some more 20-25 channels) are being provided, which are senseless (sorry to say), no sports channels, no English are being provided in that scheme, that is really shocked and now in global world is not expected from TATA.

            Sir, regional channels (tamil, urdu panjabi, malyalam, bangla, napali doordarshan and some more 20-25 channels) were necessary to provide in earlier era but do u think that now a days people are interested watching these kinds of channels? My answer is no (on the basis of the views received by your customers). You have given maximum channels of these kinds, which make no sense.

            Sir, lots of new channels have come now a days like colors, 9X, 9XM, bindas and many more but you have put these channels on irregular basis, people have to pay extra amount for this on month to month basis even after having the scheme of Rs.300/month. This is really shocking, maximum people between age group of 18-35 want to watch these channels (may be you are losing maximum customers from this age group).





            The people who have bought tata sky could not watch these channels because of channels restrictions.

            Sir, I would like to have your attention on one more fact, that in Rs.100/month Big TV and Digital TV are providing 170 channels with all the new channels, sports channels, no need to pay extra amount for colors, 9xm, bindas and lots of sports and English channels.

            One more reality I would like to mention is that our cable TV provider is providing more than 70 channels (all new channels, no regional channels, all sports channels, all English Channels and local channels and every day one new film, one old song channel also) in Rs.150/month will you believe on this?, sir this is fact. All the people in our city and / or in Rajasthan are enjoying it, with good picture quality.

            Respected sir, these all data have been collected by me (being an MBA student of Marketing field).

            Sir, this is really unexpected from the reputed brand of TATA, which is distinguished as Good brand with great reputation in India & abroad as well.

            But sir it is really painful to say that with this condition TATA Sky will not able to survive more, among its competitors.

            Prayer / Request / Suggestion (if I May): -

            Respect Sir, we (group of people have tata sky) were having lots of expectation while buying TATA Sky, but we are really not entertained by this or I may say by your product.

            Lots of people now a days are ignoring buying tata sky and emphasizing on buying Big TV or Digital TV.

            Respected Sir, I am not saying to reduce the price or high the price but saying for adding more channels so that people can be attracted to buy this product (atleast 9xm, colours, bindas, NDTV Imagine, AXN, star movies, tranz, star sports, neo sports channels, Start Cricket, ten sport) should be added as regular channels for having better amount of customers.

            If you reduce the cost of schemes and add atleast above mentioned channels as regular channels, than it would be the positive steps towards having large amount of customers.

            Please sir, do the needful so that your customers can enjoy it well and be loyal to your brand, for long.

            Hi Guys,

            If somebody is looking or surfing for the TATA Sky Setup Box review on internet, then my blog will help these guys a lot.

            The service or the help desk by Tata Sky in Pune is totally rediculous one.

            Even at the start of the Service (I mean before the delivery of the Settop Box) such a selfish, foolish, grade leass, faulty, wrong comminttments you will be getting that at the end of the day you guys will decide to better switch to other or to be happy with the traditional Cable Systems.

            God knows what kind of service these guys give to their customers when the box gets delivered or Post Sales Support you can say.

            I will prefer to move away from decision.

            Lets hope, TATA Sky will return my money in time (I pray at least this committment should be genuine one from side).

VENU THAT WE AREA WORKING COUPPLE AND CAN GET THE THINGS DONE AFTER 7.00 PM. THEY ARE CALLING IN OFFICE HOURS AND TELLING WE ARE REACHING YOR HOME. IF WE EXPLIN, THEY ARE MISBEHAVING THE ENGINEERS NAMES ARE DEEPAK, DHEERAJ. I THINK THEY ARE SPOILING THE NAMES OF TATA GROUP.

            Tata Sky — non working of most of channels in tata sky

            Sir,

            I had subscribed for tata sky. Since the time i had bought Tata sky. The services has been deteriorated ever since. Now most of the channels do not work. One drop of rain it stops working. I applied for STAR TV sports. After a while it stopped working. Max has been perpetually down. We complain. People do not listen. The only standard answer they have is clean the card. But it does not still work.

            Then these people start telling us to rectify they will charge us Rs.300 to come fix the problem

            Tata Sky has provided good and are improving the services offered they are striving to meet customer needs to face competition. In Dth Tata Sky provides far better customer service. They have also increased the number of channels to 172 and are still adding more channels.Natural cause like rains affect all DTH. If a specific channel is down then it needs be looked at demand for a technician to look into the matter. Technician visit will be needed in case the issue is not resolved on call. The minimum base pack is Super Hit pack @ Rs160/- there are no FTA. In the interest of customers there will be more addition of channels as well as services.

            Hello Sir,

            This email is written to bring to your notice on how Tata Sky deals with
            its customers and we are not satisfied with it.
            My family got Tata Sky installed five months before. It was working very
            well then.
            After five months,suddenly signals stopped coming and Tata Sky is not
            working now.
            We lodged complaint (Complaint Number [protected] registered in the name of
            Mrs Usha Arora )and the officials came to our place.
            They replied that since the instrument was new three months back,so the
            signals were coming properly and now since it is old ,there are no signals
            coming....
            Even before installing the instrument ,your officials had inspected the
            area for signals and had agreed to the signal availability. So now how is
            this is possible.I don't feel that this is the way Tata Sky should be dealing with its
            customers.We expect a lot better service from such a reputed company.We opted for Tata Sky Dth service over above DTH service , but we really very disappointed now. We have lodged a complain a week before , but till now our problem has not solved. Please, do the needful work and solve our problem.

            Please look into this matter and provide some feasible solution to us.

            Tata Sky — Installation Nightmare!!

            I am usually not into writing reviews around brands but Tata Sky has managed that rare feat of testing my patience to the extreme.


            Last Week (on the 11th of Feb) I had placed an order for upgrade of an already existing connection to HD and an add on connection with HD+. The order was crisp and clear...and the amount for the same was successfully paid through a phone banking channel. While this process was smooth what was soon to follow is a lesson on how not to do customer service.


            The next day, the engineer landed up at my place, executed one order o[censored]pgrade but refused to do the other since he apparently did not have clear instructions from the brand. We immediately called up c ustomer service which confirmed the order but had no clue on how to communicate this to the engineer at my place!!


            The engineer left, claiming that he needed an email confirmation from the brand to execute the order. Since that day, we have called the customer service multiple times in a day. Every Day assurances are given that the installation will happen that very day but nothing ever gets done. Every day work orders are cancelled and new ones are issued, apparently because the engineer cannot come after 4 pm on a weekday!!!


            Yesterday I was fortunate enough to be put in touch with a senior at the call center (Someone by the name of Girish), who assured me that the order will be executed today, at whatever cost. He admitted that it was a process lapse at their end and was duly apologetic about it. False promises they turned out to be, as even today, the order was not executed!!


            It is in frustration that I now pen these words as I did not expect this type of callous attitude towards a consumer from a reputed brand. If it takes more than 6 days to correct a process lapse and you are willing to inconvenience the customer even more because of it...there seriously is a problem at the brands end since the focus seems to be more on selling to a consumer than helping out a consumer!!


            For me it clearly is a no no as far as recommending Tata Sky to others is concerned. If a brand does not have the seriousness and capability to address customer issues, even if it means going out of the way to address it, it is not worth the money in the first place!!
            I think you should contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quiet prompt in their reply and will help you out. It is more effective way of getting your work done.             Dear sir,
            I am existing customer of last two years, in first year the setup box having some technical problem it was changed.at present box was repaired box having problem also.many time complain but all request closed without rectify it.the tata sky demand 150Rs for visit & 350Rs for exchange the setup box.finally I bear the 500Rs annually for mistake to take the connection of TATA SKY.this the other way to earn the money & customer hunt by this monopoly.

              Purchased in November 2011

              Since June 2012 I have been complaining right upto MD level that there are two faults in transmission :

              1.Sound stops for brief period frequently in all channels.
              2.The sound starts 4-5 seconds after picture on changing channels.

              I have not yet paid attention to picture quality
              Whenever these guys visited,they started finding fault in customer, dish antenna, TV set and so on.

              However they could never find any defect.The second problem was set right by them on their own which was a transmission fault.

              The first complaint continues since June 2011.

              Nothing has been done.Since[protected] Company has stopped completely responding to calls and emails right up to their MD level.Total blackout has been done to avoid complaint.There call center asks for service charges.

              The company has very bad product, more bad service and still more bad trade practices which tantamount to cheating.

              Claiming to have collaboration and Tata Business Excellence Model ,the company has over all their rate product and service and doing lootmaar.This is also evident by just 0.65 score on scale of 10 for consumer satisfaction on another consumer website.

              While I am not using the service since[protected], charges are being debited daily in my account by them.They and their dealer refuse to return my money and take back their faulty apparatus.

              IT is outright harassment and defective product and services.

              Just avoid this company.

              Tata Sky — very poor services of tata sky

              I had booked a new tatasky connection on 5th May 2008. The customer care personnal Ms Nisha committed that the hardware will be delivered to me maximum in 72 hours. Ispite of several calls I had been kept in dark by several executives of Tatasky that the hardware will be delivered to my residence today - tommorrow. even today also i had been told that the hardware will be deivered today. Now that I had invested around 300Rs in making calls to tata sky I am disappointed by the poor services of tatasky and am dejected by the Tatasky. When I requested them (Ms sudhanshu) Manager Tata sky to return my amount so that i can purchase from a local dealer she refused to return the amount as well. please help me
              Tata sky has really disappointed me by its quality of service. This is not expected from them. They advertise a few good channels and after a few months they change the channel packages to suit their pockets. Someone please bring up the issue on all major tv channels and force the management of tata sky to stop such discretionary policies

                Hi,

                i am the current customer of Tata sky DTH with subscriber ID [protected],I have placed a request for Relocation on 3rd of Nov 2012,today its been 20th of nov '12 the relocation has not been done,i have called almost everyday to the customer care without any help even speaking to seniors ,who just kept giving assurance that the services will be resumed soon,they even kept sending the work order reference nos.with scheduled visits but nobody called or came the latest being WO 1-[protected] scheduled on[protected] at 10:00 am.

                The audacity is they are charging me for the usage when they themselves know that my relocation request is not complete,I am completely at their mercy and feel cheated because then i have to buy some other DTH and will have to spend more.

                Will request you to kindly consider the situation most urgent and take necessary action.

                  I had ordered a tata sky + dish on 15/11/12 at around 07 pm in the name of M/S RB Arora & Co. I had made a payment of approx Rs. 10,500/- for 1 year subscription with your hd services. I did not even check which channel packages are you offering, i just ordered the best package available. and that too i gave full one year payment in advance. How many customers do you think pay you for full year for the best of your services.

                  While ordering i was given a commitment that the dish would be installed within next 48 hours ie by 17/11/12. but as expected, the commitment of a sale person proved to be wrong. No calls/response from tata sky. I actually wanted to buy 3 connections but i just ordered 1 so as to have a try. I had many other options such as Airtel, Sun, Dish TV etc available at cheaper rates still i chose your company just because of follow ups by your sales executive Mr. Aarif who actually gave a false commitment which was never intended to be fulfilled. While ordering he kept on trying to sell 3 connections but fortunately i just ordered 1 for a try which now i suppose i shouldn't have ordered.

                  Since then i must have called your call centre at-least 20 times asking about the status of my installation. Again and again i'am being given a same and standard reply
                  "Sir we are getting you back within 24 hours"
                  "Sir my seniors are calling you back within next 2 hours"
                  "Sir the installation person is on way, your installation would be done today itself within the scheduled time"

                  Apart from the above, finally atlast my installation was scheduled for 19/11/12 between 01:20 pm and 03:20 pm without considering my convenience. I got a confirmation message for the same. Leaving the unhealthy / untasteful experience i was waiting for your installation person, again as expected no one came resulting in shere wastage of my professional time. I had called atleast 10 times since 01pm to enquire about the status and today i got some new replies
                  "Sir your installation has been delayed by an hour"
                  "Sir our person is on way"
                  "Sir your installation has been cancelled on your request"
                  "Sir we don't have installation permission in your area"

                  Giving baseless replies and commitments without having an intention of fulfilling it, is it a part of your business ethics. If at all your company is so big that they don't need any customer satisfaction, or it can have a growth in the market without new customers , then let me clarify the universal fact of business that you are in the market to serve customers against the payment that they are giving you and not too harass them.

                  After facing such a mental harassment i don't think there is a point still expecting an installation or having any kind of association with TATA group. Just let me know when should i expect my refund along with the interest and harassment compensation. If it is not possible at your end i have no issues in approaching the appropriate legal platforms.                     I used to be a proud owner of Ta ta sky but with the experience I have had in the past few days, has dishearten me with its services provided


                    I lodged a complaint about the Ta ta Sky services on 16/11/2012 the response was usual that wait for 48 hrs and our representative will get in touch with you ,on perusal I was informed some one will call you by 7pm on 16/11/2012 as we are putting you on priority .The same answer was received on 17/11/2012 and 18/11/2012.


                    Today 18/11/2012 at 2050hrs when I contacted Tata sky customer services I have been informed that it will be ratified by tomorrow ie 19/11/2012.I was told that some one will contact you but the wait went in vain and no thought it right to contact or speak to the customer.sir if this is the way you put your client on priority then please dont put any one on priority

                    Sir if your services are detorating like this then only allah rakha for tata sky.

                    Tata Sky — non-adherence of service

                    I hereby complaint that such a big networking company like TATA Sky is doing its great effort to not giving any new conncetion to consumers I have been register for TATA Sky new connection on 15/11/2010 for subscriber ID - [protected] but still there is no any connection provided by TATA Sky.

                      I am a very old customer of Tata Sky and I was earlier posted at Gaya. After my transfer to Mumbai in 2008, since my apartment had already been provided with Cable connection, there was no need of installing TataSky at that time. Recently, after 31.10.2012, I had the following options : (a) to get the connection through existing Cable provider who was willing to continue the service for a further payment of Rs. 800/- + Rs. 800/- for set top box at the existing annual viewing charges of Rs. 2000/- for two TVs. (b) to go for other D2H providers like Dish TV, Videocon, Airtel, etc who were offering very attractive and lucrative packages, (free set top boxes and installation charge including 2 years free packages at a nominal cost, etc) which you must be aware about your competitors. (c) to renew my old connection with the Tata Sky, as I had already the Standard Set up Boxes with me which was going to be completely useless in other options. Therefore, I contacted your helpline people as well as online chat facility available at your website. After listening to my problems/doubts, they suggested me to go for up-gradation of the existing box to HD+. They told me that they had very attractive offer for their customers of Mumbai and other Metros and that I will have to pay only Rs. 4940/- for upgradation of one box which included all the charges including installation etc. and I will not have to pay any other hidden charges. I was only required to pay my charges for Channel packages which they suggested to opt for Dhamaal Mix instead of my earlier package Super Saver and I will have to pay only Rs. 2200/- + Rs. 1760/- annually for my two TVs. They further told me that if I returned the old Standard Set Top Box, my account will be credited with Rs. 750/- within 48 hours. As regards the up-gradation cost, they told me to pay the same in cash to the person who will come to my residence for installing the set. I repeatedly asked them to tell me specifically whether any other charges had to be paid by me but they emphatically assured me again and again in negative.
                      I accordingly, paid not only Rs. 4940/- to the person (Mr. Praveen Garg) who had come to me for installation on 04.11.2012 but also Rs. 400/- as demanded by him as the charges for joining 3 points in the cable system of the building. He told me that he would send me the receipt of these amounts to me through my e-mail which is yet to be received.
                      Further I also deposited a sum of Rs. 4000/- on 04.11.2012 to my TataSky A/c which, after debit of annual package charges, showed a credit balance of more than Rs. 100/- . However, on 06.11.12 when I opened the account to ascertain whether the refund amount of Rs. 750/- had been credited to my account, I was shocked to observe that instead of affording any such credit, my account was debited with a sum of Rs. 841/- as Activation fee, which was obviously wrong and I immediately protested and lodged my complaint on the website under new request two times as well as on online chat several times. I was assured that they will look into the matter and get it redressed shortly. But later on I found that not only the requests were deleted from the screen in the mean time but a further debit of Rs. 175/- had also been made in my account as Relocation Fee on 10.11.2012.
                      My all complaints in this regard has so far gone unheeded and it is apparent that I have made a grave mistake by opting to re-establish my old relation with TataSky instead of choosing other straightforward and cheaper options. What could have been achieved by paying only Rs. 1600/- to Rs 2500/- maximum, I have been duped to pay more than Rs. 9000/- and still I am not sure what other further hidden charges they are planning to impose on me in the days to come, as they are raising new debit entries to my account every alternate day after installation on one pretext or another at their sweet will. As this is a clear cut case of breach of trust as well as fraud, I once again request the TataSky authorities to look into the matter and restore all the above amounts wrongly charged to my account, i. e., Rs. 841/- and Rs. 175/- and also to credit Rs. 750/- as mentioned above forthwith.

                      I lodged above complaint with their help desk on 11.11.2012 followed by reminders on 14.11.12 & 15.11.12 but so far no reply has been received from them and they have not taken any action.

                        subject : high dissatisfaction & mental torture caused due to tata sky services
                        with deep regret & I am writing this letter to you complaining of the highly poor services of tata sky, inefficient customer care staff who provide wrong information, wrong commitments about timelines which has caused our mental torture. Also tata sky digicom does not work during slightest to heaviest rains. It is the worst digital service we have encountered from a reputed brand like yours.
                        I had placed the below request at your customer service toll free no. [protected] (pls. Check the number of calls made & requests made on your recordings at your end)
                        one digicom (no.[protected] to be replaced because it was not working.
                        Pls. Note -on 14th november 2012, we filed a complaint at customer service, I was given work order no 1-[protected] and visit was scheduled on 15/11/12 , 12 o'clock but nobody came. So I again called at your customer care they said your problem will be resolved by 6 o'clock but no one came then I was given many more timelines but till date problem is not resolved inspite of several calls made at your helpline
                        Can you please provide explanation on this????????
                        none of our request at your call center has been attended properly ref. Above and highly misguided by by your executive ms Rina, Mr Santosh ,mr nagesh, ms shahin and

                        Tata Sky — Not attending complaint

                        I had given a complaint to tatasky regarding not functioning of the unit.on 2nd Nov 2010.
                        After two days over the phone engg told that he will come at 5.00 P.M.
                        He neither attended the call nor informed about non attending. Then i called on 6th morning to their Toll free no They told me that some senior person will call me within Two Hrs. They were list bothered to call me. Again I contacted them in the afternoon they were giving big big excuses then I told them that Iwill chage my DTH service provider. Tatasky day by day become worst to worst.
                        This is the complaint lodged [protected] on 12th Jun, 2012 12.00 PM. Till today 14th Jun, 2012 3.45PM no body attended the problem. Our tatasky customer no is [protected]. They kept on giving false promises for sending the engineers but my calls went in vain. Till the service is not operational.
                        Yes Tata Sky people are really not only committing frauds and duping their clients but also very lethargic in attending to complaints unless they are shown money.

                          I was misled by a Tata Sky(Sharp Enterprises in Vakola, Santacruz(E), Mumbai ) technician that I needed to install a new Set Top Box(STB) after the replacement of the receiver on the dish antennae. I have been a Tat Sky customer for 6.5 years. He took Rs 1000.00 as cash which is against the rules of Tata Sky as per their customer service reps and supervisors. My service has now been deactivated for the last 10 days and Tata Sky is refusing to give me a break up of costs involved in the repairs. My online accounts shows a negative balance of 318.00. I have been calling Tata Sky 3-4 times almost everyday to get resolution to this issue with no luck. They keep getting fake supervisors on the phone stating that they are supervisors.

                            I am a Tata Sky customer since the time tata sky is launched in mumbai approx since 5 years.

                            At the time of purchase on yearly Mega Package every year the executive tells us that since you are a Mega Package subscriber I wont be charged for any repair works like visit fees replacing the set top box. I will only be charged for the Connector if that gets spoiled.

                            Now since a week I am trying to call Tata sky to replace the faulty box they are asking me to buy a new box for Rs 1000. I argued with them regarding the replacement they said since your box is 5 years old I will have to buy a new one. I fail to understand while selling the Mega Package Tata sky is giving different information and when it comes to replacement they say some thing different.

                            I have spoken to the sales executive in Tata sky they are saying there is no such policy of 5 years. The box if I have asked to replace with a new one then only they are going to charge me.

                            I am getting different feedback from different sales people.

                            I spoke to the engineers who came to my house he said the scheme of replacement has changed since two months. If Tata sky is changing the policy it should be applicable from that day till another 5 years. How can they impose the policy on the old customers.

                            I would request Tata sky to look into the matter and please replace the box with their replacement box for me and I am not interested in buying a new box at all.

                              i was using the services of tata sky for cable DTH TV. on 4th october 2012 i placed the request for relocation as i have moved to another place.That time customer care executive assured me that both job will be done on the same day .But their technician came and took out the wiring n dish from my place and left the venue giving me the reason that its late now and i will install the dish tomorrow. Form that day till now no one from tata sky has come to my place to install the dish..I have called them several times, talked to their seniors , all they did was to give false promises that my dish will be installed tomorrow .I even requested for the refund for my dish and set up box because they were not able to give me the service .
                              But the response to that request was..."they have no policy for refund in the company,,only thing i can do is to use up my balance left and keep the setup box with me". on that response i asked them how can i use my balance when they are not installing the dish at my place, the executive had no answer to that.
                              Now i want the refund of the cost of their set top box and the balance amount of annual subscription which i paid for.So that i can move to another service provider and avail their service.
                              They should also compensate for the time my family is not able to watch TV and face boredom and frustration which is obviously not good for our health.
                              Hope my complaint would be considered here and action would be taken on them

                                I have raised request about the downtime since yesterday morning on my new connection taken just three days back.
                                As per customer care officer engineer will come today (15 nov) at 10:00 AM, but when nobody turned up till 1 PM then
                                I re-called customer care they said that we will send engineer at 4 PM but still noone come to resolve the same.

                                Also I havn't provided DemoDVD provided & 7 days offers in the booklet handed over to me till now.

                                  Got Tata Sky installed, was committed to be activated in one hrs time but its about more than 12 hrs its not working. I spoke to the Tata sky customer care couple of times but they say it will take another 24 hrs time. Pathetic services for the company. Strongly dissatisfied.

                                    Hi Anita,

                                    You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will check the status of installation and immediately dispatch your connection. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and send an installer asap to setup your HD connection.
                                    Lalit Powar was perhaps lucky one. But my experience has led me to believe that Tata Sky people are not only committing frauds and duping their customers but are also very lethargic in attending to complaints except when they are shown money. I have also been duped by them but do not know how to deal with such deaf people.

                                      I have been a customer of TATA sky for past 4 years taking their most expensive package fortunately I did not have any complaint .One of my set top boxes stopped working 10 days back and I filed a complaint with the Call center and a net complaint the work order number 1-[protected] dated 04 Nov 2012 has not yet been addressed .The govt make digitization compulsory but God only can help the customers as you are totally dependent on the service providers

                                        I have taken the Tata Sky 5 year back. Now set up have some prb. I have registered the complaint with tata sky. People came and ask me for 1000 to change the set up box. when i spoke to company and they too ask for the same.

                                        as per me set up box is tata sky reprehensibility so if anything happen then they shld repair or change at their end.

                                        Please look in to it and help me to sort out.
