Dear Sir/Madam,

I am one of many customers who are looking to switch to DTH service, but the problem i am facing is Non of the presently available DTH provider has our Islamic channel called 'Peace TV Network', which falls under Religious Channels Catergory.
I failed to understand that, why any of this DTH providers are not broadcasting this channels when they are available for free on air (as far as my knowledge is concerned). They are absolutely free and no free has to be paid by any Provider to this Network.

Kindly, please address to this issues as early as possible and let this channel 'Peave TV' be available on all DTH services.

    I bought TataSky connection online and I was promised that I will be getting Rs.500 cash back. I have availed the offer in the same way it was asked. I was communicated earlier also that my refund is still in progress. But now when I have registered 2 complaint in tataSky website, they were resolved without intimating me.

    They are harassing customers. Kindly check.

      Customer Harassment

      I am not sure how to start. One of the legs of my Tata Sky Dish on the roof has come off and the bolt needs to be fixed. The Dish is not receiving signal as it is not aligned any more.

      On Thursday 25th July, I contacted customer care via Online Chat. I had a chat with Kavita Dive Chat Ref Number 645784. I was promised service on Saturday 27th at 5:00PM. I waited till 6:00PM and then called[protected] to enquire on my services. The agent was not helpful at all, I was just asked to wait and the service engineer will call. (WO: 1-[protected])

      Nobody came on Saturday 27th July. Then I get another SMS that the service is scheduled for 5:00PM on 28th July which is not what I wanted.

      I get in touch with chat support again to be promised that service will happen between 12:00noon & 3:00PM on Sunday 28th. I get a call from an unknown number asking what the problem is. After explaining the issue he tells me that he is wrongly assigned this WO and needs to transfer to another department. This WO is now closed.

      I go back to chat support asking what went wrong and another WO (WO: 1- [protected]) is assigned, I am promised by the handler that the service will happen before 4:30PM. Well again nobody turns up and guess what I get an SMS that my work order is completed by some engineer “Anurag Agrahari” who has not even called me forget fixing my problem. This is ridiculous and unbelievable from a corporate like Tata.

      So after 2 WO’s being opened and closed, 3 interactions with Chat support and 1 call to an unhelpful handler. One full weekend wasted waiting for your service engineer. NO Issue resolution at all.

      SR[protected] – is the new SR and now if my issue does not get fixed. I will write to the consumer court and ask for a full refund on my annual subscription

      Tata Sky — SMS Not Sent

      SMS to 56633(TATA Sky) not sent by BSNL Pre Paid (Rajasthan Circle) I have complaint many times since last 5 months but TATA Sky not solve the problem. BSNL Officer tell me that the number is blocked by TATA Sky due to some economical problem with TATA Sky but TATA Sky not agree with this, whether It is true

      Tata Sky — not customer service and poor service

      I asked my dealer to recharge my account and he recharged but i am not getting thier service and i am trying to contact their helpline but no one is picking phone only computer speaks and it ask us to hold the line and this the std call and no complaing add on the net on their website.now i ask to them where the custmer should go.
      I have called their customer care before and the procedure they follow is simple. I have had no trouble getting through and once through they ask if you are an existing subscriber or new. oafter that they ask for your subscriber id followed by which they hear out your complaint and fix it by either fixing an appointment with their technician if necessary or just tell you what has to be done next. Its quick and hassle free.

      Tata Sky — Misinformation and cheating

      I have a complaint against TataSky offering 'Megapackage'.

      We have one primary and one secondary connection at home. We subscribed for one more year by paying Rs. 2600/- and Rs. 3000/- respectively for both the connections.

      Subsequently my wife received a call from TataSky's employee on 18.03.09 offereing us 'Magapackage'.

      During the discussion, thrice my wife said that the caller should call later, as she was busy at that time and unable to pay attention to the call. But the caller wanted to complete the transaction on that call only.

      The caller offered the Megapackage on both the connections for Rs. 5000/-.

      THe caller further said that he was unable to see our account statement online, and that we would have to pay subscription charges on second TV.

      My wife understood that as he was unable to see the account, he was not aware of the fact that we had already paid the annual subscription amount. She told that caller that if it is monetary beneficial to her, she would go for it.

      The caller was certainly not interested in revealing all infromation. Later on when she checked the account she found that most of the subscription money we had paid has been charged towards Megapackage. As soon as she realized this she made a complaint on 20th March 2009. The receiver of the call promised to revert after getting the details, which he didn't.

      Again we have made a call today on 5th April 2009. One lady took our phone call. We were first asked what is the harm in paying Rs. 125/- per month. I enqired from TataSky if the lady would mind paying Rs. 125/- on our behalf. If that is the case I request them to charge the entire sum from her salary and credit my account. This is necessary to make her understand that Rs. 1000/- neither a big sum for TataSky nor for me, but the fact is that we feel cheated.

      Anyways, after the complaint we are told that the caller on first day had revealed all rules and regulations. We do not agree to this fact.

      When we said to revert the amount and cancel the transaction, we are told that this deal is non-revertable (this was also not shared with us).

      We have requested TataSKy to revert all debits and just have the package which we had before this offer. I am not liable to pay anything from 20th March and we made a complaint on that day. Else they should share with me the recording of all the conversations.

      Else I am questioning their action of charging me an extra amount and I claim that Tatasky has cheated us.

      I hope I would get reply at the earliest.
      My dear friend, you appear to be misinformed. Downgrading in Tata Sky is a very very simple and easy process. All you have to do is call customer services and they will downgrade it. Thats all! Lot of people upgrade their packs during matches and later downgrade them. I am really surprised to see this. Don't worry! Just as customer service guy to downgrade the package.

      Tata Sky — Willful Poor Service

      Tata Sky is a cheating company. They offer options to add a channel / package. But they do not offer options to drop a channel / package.

      I had been trying hard to get the lifestyle gold pack dropped from my package. But even after talking to them several times, they tease you by keeping on talking and never listen or do what you want.

      Can somebody guide me how to take them on legally and stop them from cheating the poor subscribers through these unfriendly methods.

      Tata Sky — Service Support

      My remote was not working. I complained on 11th Sep at 1045hrs. I was told that paid service / replacement would be attended between 48 to 72 hrs. Despite my repeated complain on call centre number on 13th/14th nothing was done. On 15th I made a complain to withdraw connection then at about 1400 hrs remote was replced on payment.

      TataSky — bad service

      my tatasky id no. is [protected]. despite of complaining to them from past 3 months our digicomp has not yet been started. the service is extremely pathetic. even after recharging as per they said the digicomp is nt started just false promises are made by them.its a real waste by getting a tatasky connection n a great money is wasted with ZERO SERVICES.

      TataSky — poor service and information

      i have tatasky DTH comnection for last 4 years ID no.[protected]. i am not much satisfied with its services . once u purchase it u have no sevice support from them . their helpline number are just to cut ur pocket, it goes on long ringing and then transfer of lines and in last cut the phone resulting in fruitless deduction of amount from ur mobile. i came across this situation several times.
      once u added any additional pack their is no chance of withdraw it . u can add additional pack on their site but no option of withdrawl. the only option is again the helpline which never responed completely.
      their are no service centres information .once u get any technical problem u have no way to rectify
      every one ask to go for helpline.
      tatasky helpline itself need help.
      today[protected], my dth set top box get off , it may be problem of adaptor or in settop box. i search tatasky site and tried helpline for two hours but it was fruitless.

      Tata Sky — Poor Service--no complaint

      Dear Sir:

      I hold a tatasky connection and had lodged a complaint with Tata Sky on July 1, 2011 at 14:10 p.m. stating that there has been no signal and set up box gets hanged very frequently. The complaint number is SR[protected]. They had promised to send their engineer within a period of 24 hours and till date i.e. 4/7/2011 until 4.40 p.m., their engineer has neither turned up nor given us a call. Despite asking for their senior personnel contact number and service engineer's contact number, they have not provided us any details. I request you to kindly look into the matter at the earliest.

      tata sky + — Poor service

      My tata sky account id is [protected]. I have 2 connections. 1 normal setup box and the other tata sky +, both are connected on the same dish. But my tata sky + is showing no signal and the other setup box is working fine. I had called on the helpline no. and spoken to Taushik on 16/7/11 at around 11.45pm. He gave me few instructions which I carried on and when the setup box was still not working he told me he will arrange to send an engineer within 24 hrs. On 18/7/11 morning at 9.51 am I called up the helpline again and spoke to Sushma, she informed me that the request for sending the engineer is not raised on 16/7/11 so she will raise the request on urgent basis and arrange for an engineer today itself. At 2.48pm I called the helpline again and spoke to Mohammed Idris and again I had to explain him all the details he assured me that he will raise a request again on the urgent basis and send the engineer at the earliest. But no one called or came. Then at 5.01 pm again I called the helpline and spoke to some other person and the same thing was assured to me and he also said that I will receive the call within half an hour. Then at 5.50 pm again I called the helpline and told to be transferred to any senior person. The guy reluctantly transferred the call to Mr. Dilip. And again I had to explain to him the whole scenario he assured me that someone will get back to me within 2 hours but again no one called up. After 2 hrs at 7.49 pm again I called up the helpline, some other person picked up I requested him to transfer the call to Mr. Dilip but he was unavailable so Mr. Gajanand (cant recollect the exact name) call on line and again the same explainations and same thing over and over and then he keeps me on hold for 15 mins and informs me that the engineer will not be able to come today and he will be coming tomorrow morning. After continously calling them whole day I am informed that the engineer will come tomorrow morning. And after that as my husband's mobile no. is registered with tata sky he receives the call from the engineer telling him that due to rain there are too many calls so the request was not taken earlier and he won't be able to come next day in the morning but will be coming in the evening . Its will be more then 60 hrs when he will be coming hopefully. Then why do they assure that they are giving the service in 24 hrs. This is ridiculous !!!! Its a clear case of pathetic service from tata sky. Wouldn't recommend to anyone in future.
      Still the problem is not solved by tata sky. Just delaying ... 4th day still tata sky not working...
      I had opted for TATA SKY only to view Malayalam channels. TATA SKY is only DTH withour email id for subscribers to contact
      i am also facing same problem...
      I think you should contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quiet prompt in their reply and will help you out. It is more effective way of getting your work done.         Today morning when i started my tata shy it was not working .Message was related to bad weather condition but it was a sunny day.
        I called customer care.The worst and rude customer care i faced in whole life.

        Anyways they said to do check some wires and dish direction and try to remove some wires for 10 second then put that back.
        It does not worked.
        Then hes said to do do some settings in organizer sector of tata sky software.
        It did not worked. Now this customer care guy said that some engineer will visit and fix the issue,charges for this visit will be 150 rs and many be more according to the problem.

        Now i got sms that engineer will visit by 4:20 PM of 28/07/2013.
        No one came and i got next message that wo# 1-[protected] has been completed by dharmendra singh.

        Then i called tata shy after some time of getting this message they logged one more complain.


        Now i do not know why i am being charged for some issue due to tata sky software.If their software or something is not working then why i should pay for that.

        In future date they can anytime stop my services and i will complain and they log complain and fix their setting so i view tata shy again.
        And form this trick they can earn money.Because everything is in their hand.

        Please help me in getting exact root cause of the problem so i can know that i am getting charge for problem created by me not by tata sky.

        And this tata shy in installed in last i guss 30-40 das back only,so if some error is due to bad wiring or loose connection then they should address it.

        At the same note i want to mansion my old experience from local cable operator : They use to give cable connection in 100 rs.And in case of complain they come in fix for no cost even wires are broken.But i dont know if my tata shy wires will be broken then they may charge for whole cable.they user to come very few times but we had some good family relation with those local cable guys.They sit and have tea and all.But i dont think can can be so friendly with tata shy people.Such a big name and not reputation like a local cable guy.

          Hi,

          threaten customer of TATA Sky using there services since 12 July 2012 under subscriber id [protected]

          My warranty period get over on 13 July 2013. as soon as i have received intimation from tata sky about warranty expiry my tata sky stop working. i was talking to customer care on[protected], continuously they are saying same language. all visits are chargeable. i have agreed and confirm there technician visit. no one tern up.

          a mail was sent TATA Sky at 18 July 2013 on [protected]@tatasky.com. after that they sent technician at our premise and he confirmed the setup Box is faulty. it need to be replaced. i am not having any issue in paying its matter o[censored]nethical practices from Tatasky.

          I want to file case in in consumer court for Unethical practices used by tatasky to make extra money from consumers.

          Hoping that after my this action they will not eat consumers money.

          TataSky Satellite TV Service — Customer Service and warranty

          Tatasky has very poor customer service through their authorized service centers. It's been 2 months since I had a box installed and never been able to enjoy uninterrupted service .And now, they agree it is a HW problem. want to replace it with a used box that does not carry the standard 1 year warranty. When I asked for a brand new box, they say it takes 2 days and that warranty from the old box transfers and we don't get a full year warranty. And to get a refund (as a matter of principle) of the monthly fee for lack of service (Rs 4.16 a day :-) ), I have to call them back after the problem is resolved!!

          Tatasky should take a page out of some other companies (I've had good experience with Airtel, be it cell phones, TV, landline or broadband) and improve their service.
          I think you should contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quiet prompt in their reply and will help you out. It is more effective way of getting your work done.             My Tata Sky Subscriber ID No. [protected].
            I have shifted on this address since Feb 2013 and got my old Tatasky connection relocated to the new address. Under this subscriber ID, I have two Tatasky connection set top boxes, one is standard and other is Tata Sky HD+.

            Since last one month, I have been facing "no signal" problem in my HD connection while the other connection is working well.

            I have called the customer care innumerable times to complaint for this. Since one connection is working fine and the only the second one has problem it is clear the connection line and satellite signal is ok its the HD hardware that has problem. I have spoken to their customer care on several occasions. They representative has visited our house to see the problem. They said they will submit their report to Tata Sky and get our problem resolved. However everytime I call back the customer care I am told that my complaint has been resolved and closed. No further attempts have been make by Tata Sky to solve this problem and as a consumer I feel cheated by the company.

            Tata Sky — Hardware

            my remote stopped functioning, so i registered the complaint regarding it , the customer care executive promise me to change the remote , but today is the 15 th day i haven't recieved the remote yet and whenever i call them they make execuse reagrding non availabilty of remote. and when i contacted my local dealer he too make execuse saying he will deliver the remote tommorow and that tommorrow never came . its the worst service i have ever seen so i want to warn the potential customer to be aware of this company they provide mouth watering offers but they too provide disappointing after sales service. i bought tata sky for my comfortabilty but these co. truely make ur life hell....

Just i have listen that you are giving world cup offer H.D. facility Rs.2599/- world cup offer. but here note that world cup cricket match has started but your H.D. setup Box has not receieved in major city as Aurangabad, Nasik, Jalgaon, Ahmadnager ertc..et.c.
            I am request you or all of tata sky d.t.h. group to launch H.D. setup box as early as possible in maharashtra major cities as Aurangabad, Nasik, Ahmednager, jalgaon etc. etc.,

              This is the mail I sent them..but yet no response.
              The service engg keep calling and saying that the hd boxes are out of stock. Its been more than 72hours now.

              Dear Madam/Sir,

              Its disheartening to write to you that I am very dissatisfied with your services.
              I have been using Tatasky since almost 3yrs now and have been facing issues only to be rectified after 24 or 48 hrs.
              However, this time, I was deliberately made to upgrade my tatasky set box to a high definition set top box, charging me a fee of INR 2799/- by unisyn enterprises,in Mumbai which is supposed to be a partner of Tatasky.

              It was installed on 26th june 2013. Today the date is 12th july 2013. Its not even been 16days and the box doesnt work at all.

              I called up your customer services last evening and requested them for an urgent maintainence. A Service engg did come here and say that the box is faulted and needs to be replaced.He went back stating that he doesn have a box with him and will install it today morning.
              To my misfortune, he comes today with the box but doesnt get along the adapter for it..he goes back saying that he will come back with the adapter and fix it. Again he doesnt turn up for 5 hrs when I call him he speaks utterly rude and says that he cant do anything till his stock of adapters come after 4-5days.

              What is this supposed to mean? Do I need to sit with an off television for the next 4-5 days?

              Everytime I call ur executives, they promise me to look into the matter and get back to me within an hour. Its been 3 hrs now, theres no call,no visit.Every hour I call thry say One more hour. And this isnt the first time, whenever I call regarding any query I am given the same cold response.

              By these kind of services that tatasky promises,I am afraid that you may lose clientele soon. I would'nt hesitate saying that the local digital cable services are a 1000 times better.

              However, I only wish to say that You either put me on to the management, or give me some number that I can talk to. I need the tatasky deactivated with my cash back.

              Hi, i took tata sky connection(subscriber id : [protected]) recently. I was trying to add Tensports which now available as add-on package. I have sent sms message through RMN mobile and even tried to add package through Internet. In both scenario i could n't succeed. I have been trying to reach tata sky helpdesk since past 48 hours and i must have tried at least 50 times since yesterday but no one from customer care seems to bother. The most irresponsible helpdesks i have ever experienced in my life time.

              I would like to escalate to higher authorities. Could anyone suggest the process. Otherwise i do not have any other option that approach consumer court.

              Tata Sky — Bad services and rude responses from tata sky

              Dear Sir,

              I have taken a tata sky connection Subscriber ID: [protected]. This monsoon my remote control stopped working. I tried calling up thier customer care for 20 days and one day finally I was able to connect. When I talked to the customer service representative, Mr Vikrant, they told me that my connect was out of warranty and I need to pay 300 - 600 to get it corrected.
              When I insisted that it was in warranty period and after a long debate they agreed that it was indeed in the warranty period but they still need to charge because 'MOST PROBABLY' I have physically damaged the remote. I told them that it was not the case but Mr Vikrant kept repeating it. Then when I wanted to complain about the bad signal, he refused to file complain at all! He told that I should talk exactly at the TIME WHEN SIGNAL IS BAD.
              It was a big harassment for us. I would like to file a consumer court complain for that. Please tell me the procedure.

              Tata Sky — No Customer Service Provided By Tata Sky

              I am very disappointed by the services provided by TataSky.
              I had shifted to a new Flat on 11/6/08, and had requested for an installation of TataSky connection at our new place, on 10/6/08 Evening.
              Today it is 15/6/08, and no one has come to our place to install the dish.We have been waiting for 5 days now.
              Everyday when I phone to the customer helpline I am told that my complain cannot be attended and has been postponed for next day.
              What nonsense is this going on.
              Every time I am provided with a new request number and thats all, nothing is done.

              They committed for a particular day and even time by SMS. When no one has attended that, they just edit even the date of old complaint for same day.(Magically).
              They are very expert for making JhingaLALA of costumer. I think they(Service deptt.) are simply spouling the image of great TATA company too.

              Tata Sky — No Service for last 72 Hours !

              Hi,

              This was to bring to your kind notice that my complaints to Tata Sky Helpline have not been attended for the last THREE DAYS !

              Since 12th Aug evening, I have been facing problems with my Tata sky set-top box and am constantly following up with your helpline, which just comes up with innovative ideas of how, NOT TO HELP,

              Even after registering same complaint almost 25 times (Not Joking, !), the only response me and my wife keep getting is one service request number and a vague promise of the “engineer” visiting in immediately-next 1 hr-or 2 hrs or definitely-worse 3 hrs ! (How I wish, I could attach all those lovely sms-es, from Tata sky in this mail !)

              It has been over 60 hours and at least 150 min of sweet talks, with several highly qualified persons, but of no avail! We have also had the fortune to talk to the so called “seniors” on helpline numbers, one Mr. Setu Desai and one Mr. Vishal with even better promises, which they also know will not be met!

              I am sure tomorrow being Sunday, I must not expect any services and that would mean 5 DAYS OF MERE PROMISES AND ASSURANCES! So much so for a 24*7 helpline!

              I can bet I am not the first one, nor am in going to be the last one!

              This is to bring kindness of Tatasky people who after repeated complaints from the last 10-15 days of complaint for poor signal strength are not in a mood to rectify or reslove the complaints as it is compalint of Setup box and it will take time .

              Set top box needs to be replaced every month as there are multiple complaints arising every time they replace. Also they replace it with a old repaired set top box. Subscriber id - [protected].

                I bought Tata sky connection on 12/05/2012 through Suresh Electronics, 69, 4th Cross, Omkar Nagar, Arekere Mico Layout, BG Road, Bangalore – 560076.

                I had paid Rs.7480/- for two set top box, one STD & second HD + PVR. At the time of connection this hasn’t disclosed that TataSky signals come from South-East direction only and nothing has mentioned that these boxes are on lease and will have to return at the time of cancellation.
                On Jun 1st 2013 I had requested for relocation from my old address L&T South City B4-1602, Arekere Mico Layout, BG

                1. Since Jun 1st 2013, my TataSky connection is not working but still subscription charges are being debited in my account on a daily basis.

                2. I am not getting signals in my new location while this apartment is three sides open. So for me it’s a TataSky technical problem. Now I have been told that signals will come only from south-east direction this was never disclosed and mentioned anywhere.

                3. Due to of no signals I am forced to go for cancellation without any refund of Set top boxes (2 boxes) for which I had paid Rs.7480/- at the time of connection. Why should customer pay for service provider technical problem?

                4. I have been debited Rs.200/- for relocation charges while relocation hasn’t completed yet due to of signal problem

                5. Since Jun 1st 2013 I am struggling, getting regular calls from TataSky customer care, explaining everything again and again. As TV is the main source of entertainment in India which is not working for me since more than a month, causing stress and uncomfortable & also loosing hard core money due to of TataSky policy not to refund for Set top boxes. So they are getting all benefits and customer is always in lose.

But she in wrong when i go to recharge our DTH connection. the dealer told me you are not see all channel of Rs.160/= you must recharge Rs.270/= and see all chancel which you wants. So i complain tata sky tool free number and mailed many time his help desk. Dear sir he accepts his false but did not return my money. i want to return his connection and inform him many time. What i do. Please take this matter for me

                  The worst DTH, i kbow its good but customer care is verry bad. my digicomp was no working from the day i bought, i called to sutomer care, they say, our enginerr will come, but when i call the enginner they say they will not come,, WORST CUSTOMER CARE.                   TATA SKY DTH — Non-Deactivation of DIGICOMP. & Poor Customer Service

                  I had called tatsky helpline[protected] times regarding De-Activation of 1 digicomp out of 4 working they told me to fax the request on thei Banglore Back Office No.[protected], I did, when i asked them confirmation no. whether the fax recieved by Back office or not, they said we don't have any information, the person i talked to[protected] were mr. Nitin, Miss Shiwani, I had already met to local dealer regarding Deactivation He told that they are not authorized for that. After FAX to Banglore at 16:30hrs on09/03/2009, by this time they did not respond
                  I am sure they must take some time to respond. You can hardly expect them to do so instantly.

                  Tata Sky; Tata sky Plus — DigiComp not working

                  I was unfortunate enough to buy a Tata Sky Plus in end May. In the first week of jun it started giving trouble. Despite several telephone calls, the call center kept giving excuses and then finally sent an engineer who personsll y confirmed that the digicomp was faulty and needed to be replaced. When I rang the call center they had no idea of the complaint and said it must be my fault. Finally after several calls they acknowledged the complaint and gave me a complaint No on 12th Jun. But even today on the 21st of Jun nothing has happened. They are not accepting that they return my previous Tata Sky digicomp and take back the faulty digicomp and refund Rs 5999/- that I paid for the tata sky plus. please listen to my advice. Please please do not buy the Tata sky plus. The product and their after sales service is poor. did not expect this of a Tata company

                  TATA SKY+ — Faulty Digicomp not replaced yet

                  I have purchased the Tata sky+ on 20th of Oct 2009and after that it get installed on 29thOct and after Fourdays it Digicomp set stop working (It become faulty) after calling Customer they said box needs to be replaced that will around 4 days but no body entertained after that and again various complains they saend the engineer and he installed the tata skt instedof tatasky+ andhe told they will repalce the same with tatasky+.however till date we have chased on daily basis around four timers an day and every time they said today engineer will come and install the required.I have spent around 2000 bugs in calling to tatasky+ .Moreever they are denying to refund the money, which is very unethical on their part as per their term & conditions they should return the maney with compensation.
                  I would say they have the worse service in the world.
                  I want to sue the tatasky + for the refund and compensation of 50000 for the mental troma.

                  I hope consumer court will take the necessary action on the same.

                  The sale of Tata Sky+ was intense during the offer period. Working of the STB is rarely hampered. There has been complete miscommunication as you had received a Tata Sky STB instead of a Tata Sky+ STB, sometimes this is caused due to swopped reference nos. The problem can be fixed as many of my friends purachased a Tata Sky+ STB during the offer period and there were slight delay in delivery but once they received their STB they have good reviews on its featues especially its main function recording. I understand the experience you have been facing might not have been good but it was just some error that must have caused this issue. The customer service is very helpful and will arrive at a desired resolution.

                  TataSky — NEW HD PLUS DIGICOMP NOT WORKING

                  I had paid Rs.3999/- to TATA Sky for HD Plus upgrade on Oct 29,2011 , vide SR 1-[protected] .My Subscriber ID is [protected]. The HD plus Box was delivered on Oct 30,2011 and upon installing the picture quality was poor as the picture was shaking. The company person said he will send the Engr and went away. I called helpline on Oct 31,2011 and came to know that the SR 1-[protected] call has been closed . I was shocked to learn that the reputed company like TATA will close a Call despite defective installation .

                  The helpline person allotted new SR 1-[protected] , and promised to have the matter resolved . One person came on Oct 31, and checked antena in terrace and said the HD Plus Box is defective and needs to be replaced. He said he will bring new box. Thereafter no response from company , no one came on Nov 1, and Nov 2 and still the defective Box is not replaced. I called up Engr and asked him and he said they do not have stock of HD PLus and has to come from Mumbai. This is because the sales installation call is closed and service call registered to cheat customers. The fact is the new product is not successfully installed causing harassment to us.

                  I spoke to so many persons in Help desks , so many supervisors like Mahendra, Tabasum, Sandeep , Shashi , but no one from Help desk is able to help us. The company does not have customer Grievience addressing cell. They have 24/7 Helpline but they are unable to resolve the problem. On Nov 1, 2011 was informed by Llyod that Engr will come by 6pm of Nov 1, 2011 , but no one has come.

                  Despite several calls , the assurance by Help desk is false as no one is attending to the complaint.

                  The company is collected 100 % advance and delivered defective box and is harassing us and making us call their help desk and not solving our problem.

                  I need the refund with interest and damages for mental torture, harassment , anxiety and trouble faced by us due to deficient service provided by the TATA Sky.

                    Just 1 -1/2 year before I got the tata sky conection. At that time, there ws no informtion provied to me that there is no service avialble in my area. three months before I wanted to get my setup box to be upgraded with the HD+ to suit my 55’inch smart TV. Unfortunately I am not able to connect old setup box with this TV, since there is no HDMI port in the old setup box. last 3 months we were not able to watch TV . I have made a request to upgarde the setup box to HD plus. Inspite of numerous calls and registering the complaint with custoomr care, no one from tatasky have turned up to attend the service. It seems there is local issue with tatasky in this area. however thiswas not informed to me earlier when I bought the connection. We thought Tatasky is good; hence we have opted for this connection. Unfortunately your local dealer didn’t inform about the security issue when they came for Installation. Now I have no other option other than going to different DTH operator in order to view the TV. But it looks to me ridiculous reason that your local dealer needs protection to come to home for upgrading the set up box.

                    Even after making numerous calls to customer care and several mails to helpline for upgrading the setup box and there was no action taken to address my concern. Pls note the following service request no were raised to address the concern. But unfortunately no action has been taken to address the issue. The issue is still open, however it appears that service request were closed without even addressing the issue raised.

                    TATA SKY DTH — Non action on the complaint

                    My complaint ref# WO: 1-[protected] , logged in on 16th. The engineer was suppose to visit & correct the problem at 17.00hrs on 17th NOV. After the regular chase up & be available in the home to get the same issue sorted, no one from tata sky have visited to sort out the problem or make a courtosy call that the engineer will not visit due to any reason or visit will be psotponed for a day or 2. On top of that the technical dept. engineer have misbehaved with me over the phone. After speaking to the sr executive mr. ravinder/ rabinder he assured that that the technical person will visit today morning... As expected no one visited . Then I rcvd a call at around afternoon 12-12.30 pm from the customer service Ms. Pooja that the engineer will visit by 6.30. As expected no one visited as yet neither any call have been rcvd reg the actual status whether we will have a engineer visiting us today. The customer care dept is good for nothing.. they cant even provide the staright solution for the problem.. whether we can have the problem sorted which they assure w/ their commitments & assurance that they provide solution within 24-48hrs. Which in my case already passed . I am sure this seems to be a small complaint but in my case not since I have to leave my work for the last 2 days early to get the DTH by tata sky corrected. Which in turn is a loss of business for me & as well the peace of mind .
                    I think you should contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quiet prompt in their reply and will help you out. It is more effective way of getting your work done.                         since 8 am, 01/07/2013, time at which i called the tatasky call centre, there is no response , what so ever, from Tata Sky team.
                        i have called in call centre for at least 10 times and have talked to so many associates, few supervisers and a team lead.
                        ops manager was unavailable to take the call. All the above people gave assurances but till now ( 6 pm of 04/07/13), there is no actual work done.
                        I have constantly reminded everybody of the reputation that tata group have and the level of service which is expected.
                        service team seems to be the main culprit as they are constantly keeping the problem on hold.
                        this is a very serious act of negligence as the team's so called best possible efforts could not resume our services with in three days of time.
                        the excuse that adapter is not available ( reason given to me by call centre) seems to be a foolish one because thousands of new boxes are availble all across the city.

                          I was happily using Dish TV connections for the last 5+ years.
                          When I moved to DLF Phase V, I came across monopoly of DLF & Tatasky which forced me to buy two new connections from Tata Sky as the DLF society did not allow to install Dish TV.

                          I called up online and bought two Tata Sky connections - One HD+ and one HD.
                          With repeated clarifications I was reconfirmed against my apprehensions that there will not be any hidden charges over & above the set top box price
                          and I'll be getting two months free subscription as well. I had to shell out 6440+2799 rs for this.

                          Firstly, the installation was delayed against commitment of 2 hrs it was installed after two days.
                          After installation, the activation took another day.
                          Within 24 hrs of activation my account was deducted by rs 500 and the balance was shown as minus and I got sms that the connection will be deactivated.

                          I called up the customer care and they informed me that there is a wrong deduction of rs 500/- and assured me to reverse the same.
                          I was also assured that the connection will NOT get deactivated.
                          But to my surprise the connection got deactivated same night, when I called up I was assured restoration again & again but even after three days the connection is not working and they are extending resolution date each day...

                          I am feeling cheated by the Tata Sky.... And thinking of moving to consumer court now.

                          Dish TV — COMPLAINT AGAINST DEDUCTION OF MONTHLY CHARGES

                          I am one of DISH TV Telugu Freedom package customer (now it has been changed as South India package monthly rental is RS 150/- per month.

                          I am paying regulary, but today they disconnected my service, serveral time times I have complined them, they are deducting more than my monthly charges. But they are not taking care about my service

                          for example I have below payment details for your reference

                          1) I have credited Rs 1000/- in month of Nov 2007(14.11.07), which I supposed to be paid in month of Jan 2008. (for 5% discount offer I have early, that they have not given to me) Previously it was 75/- per month

                          2) Again I have credited Rs 1200/- in the month of April 2008 (02.04.08). ok

                          3) Rs 1000+ Rs 1200/- = Rs 2200/150 = 14.66 that means I no need to pay any thing upto Feb 2009. So my payment due will be Feb 2009.

                          Then what I have to do ? Pls help me out

                          Tata Sky Satellite Television — Installation the New connection

                          I have booked new Tata Sky Satellite Television connection by credit card on 2/01/09 at 18.15 hours order no 1/[protected]. Terms and conditions as per Tata Sky, Free Home Delivery with in 4hous from time of booking.
                          Now 48hours over I did not received the any Kit for installation the Tata Sky Satellite Television. And I was not informed by them what is the status. They are not at all serious of this type of negligence.
                          I called four times to there mention no[protected] and[protected] but every time they are told me our sales term contact with you. But after 48 hours it was not happened.
                          Now from tomorrow I will be my office up to 20.30 hours and no body is in my house for receiving the same and there service up to 20.00 hours.
                          * Why Tata Sky tem not full fill there comments as per there terms and conditions?
                          * Why customer suffering for there reason?
                          * Tell me what I will do?
                          * I want to do highlight this matter to Tata Sky higher Authorities please help me?
                          * What action need to be taken for avoid this type of negligence from company side?

                          Well at the time of delivery of the hardware Tata Sky is installed by the technician who arrives with all the hardware. Two years also exceeds the guarantee period of the STB no one reacts so late to a pending case. This problem required a prompt action if so ever not attended to. And if you have received the hardware then at the time of receiving it you should have demanded for spot installation and checked it then and there itself. Did you taken down the reference nos of the complaint? if so you should have been following it up stringintly and got a resolution. This time if you file a complaint see to it that you take the number of the technician who will be arriving and the CC will be able to help you get it installed.

                          Tata Sky connection — Incorrect information

                          Hi,

                          During the telephonic discussion with the executive of tata sky, he told us that all the sport channels are included in the package of 160 and 200 rs. Thereby after looking into the rental of the different Cable TV operators, we have chosen tata sky because it's cheaper and providing sports channels in th package of 160 rs.

                          Once we have paid the Cable tv device cost of 1599 rupees we have come to know that the information provided by the tata sky executive is incorrect and we have to pay extra charge besides basic rental of 160 rs.

                          Now after 2-3 round of discussion with the tata sky executives and senior executives they are accepting their mistake but not refunding the device cost.

                          We would have opted for some other Cable TV operator ( as reliance is cheaper) if we know that sports channels are not included in the package.

                          Please help us.

                          There must have been a serious misunderstanding from the executives end as what he imparted was the price of the base pack that comes of Rs.160/- however, the amount of Rs.200/- would facilitate an inclusion of an add-on pack Sports Gold Pack for Rs.40/- which would telecast NEO Cricket and NEO Sports which will be a great option as Tata Sky is the only provider of NEO . It also has SET MAX in its Base Super Hit pack which is of Rs.160/- that allows you to enjoy important IPL matches. These charges are appropriate but there may be lack of complete communication that you have not been informed on the same. Tata Sky has waived off Rs.1000/- on installation or the amount otherwise would have been Rs. 2599/-. It is advisable to look for appropriate information of product, package, pricing and offers on the official Tata Sky website: http://www.tatasky.com/index.html. After finding out about the product it will be better to decide on which pack suits you the best hence you can make a better choice.
                          I don't know how you are trying to justify this fraud by adding that tata sky has given 1000 Rs weaver on connection. The cost of tata sky was 1599 Rs that why we opted for it. it's no way related to incorrect information.

                          In our part being a responsible customer we are not using tata sky from that date because accepting this will be like supporting this fraud.
                          You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will get in touch with you and assist you accordingly. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and resolve your issue.

                            I have a tatasky hd+ connection and my subscriber id is [protected]. For the past few days, for some of the channels like Jaya TV. Murasu TV, DD Podhigai, Kalaingar TV etc., we are unable to see the program details. The message shown is "Information not provided by channel provider". this causes a few problems:

                            - I don't know what what program is when
                            - Consequently, I cannot set recording for the programs
                            - Even if I view the channel and set the recording, the recording goes on for about 4 hours
                            - When the program starts, I view it and then I start recording, in the recorded section the title is shown is "information not provided by channel partner". If I record a few such programs, I am unable to know what program I have recorded.

                            I called up the helpdesk to know what the problem was and to get a resolution. The person who answered my call said that it was because the channel provider is not providing the information (I think I can read and understand English !!). When I asked him when it would be rectified,he said that whenever the channel provider provides the information, we will get the details. OK, so when would they provide the information. That depends on the provider. Good. Now,why are they not providing the information? AGain the same response, when they provide the information the problem will be solved.
                            I told him that I don't need an immediate response, but he could get back to me after talking to his seniors in the next day or so. Probably, he does not understand English. He asked me to hold on for 2 minutes. He came back after 5 minutes and gave the same response again.
                            After a few heated exchanges, when I told him that airtel does not have this problem, he again put me on hold. This time, he never came back.
                            I then sent a mail to the nodal officer of Tatasky. But, there is no response from them as well.

                            Could you take up this issue with Tatasky and get it resolved? It looks like they have some disagreement with the channel providers. If so, they should have the courtesy to tell the customers.

                                I have place my order for a new tata sky set top box through www.tatasky.com on 18th June-2013 of worth Rs. 2249. After successful completion of customer registration and payment through ICICI Bank Credit Card I received a confirmation SMS through – “BP-MYTSKY” stating that “This is to confirm your payment for Tata Sky online purchase on the same mobile number I register on the portal – [protected] and also I got a receipt of payment confirmation with “Tata Sky Transaction ID – DS[protected]”, “Bill Desk Transaction ID – MEPG[protected]” and “Bank Transaction ID – [protected]”

                                Beside this confirmation message and receipt I didn’t get anything from their side. Another day when I didn’t received any call from them then I called their customer support executive and talk with Mr. sunil, Mr. Rizwan and another 4 to 5 executives regardinf the delievery and installation of my Tata Sky but they refused to accept that they have received any single amount from my side. I am continuously follow them since 19th June -2013 but there is no any positive response from their call centre executive. They are asking me to provide the 10 digit consumer id but how can I provide the same since I didn’t get any such id?

                                They are not ready to provide me the Tata Sky coneecton after my several follow-ups. Please help me to get my money back with fair penalty and interest rate into my ICICI Credit card no[protected]XXXXXXXX, from which I have made the payment and take the strict action against the fraud activity of TATA SKY.

                                ALSO I WILL REQUEST TO ALL TO DO NOT BUY THE SET TOP BOX FROM TATA SKY. BETTER YOU SHOULD GO FOR ANY OTHER DTH SERVICE PROVIDER LIKE AIRTEL OR BIG TV OR DISH TV.

                                We had taken tata sky connection in sep, by paying 3800rs which included installation, digicom & 1000rs recharge coupon.

                                We got our connection but havent got 1000rs recharge coupon & we are trying to callup the dealer (Prabhat telecom) person (Kunal) who came he is not pickingup the phone his no is: - [protected]. We have raised this complaint more then 20 times to tatsky but they say that they are not able to trace out which dealer has locked the call for our connection and cant help us out.

                                We feel so helpless please let us know wat should we do for the same, can we get any kiind of help for the same????????
                                TATASKY and the DTH technology in India is ridden with bigger cheats than the cable wallahs.When they first came to India-advertising that you should rid youself of the cable 'goons', I never realised that we would have to fall prey to the handsof national mafia named the 'TATASKY'. After all TRAI and the authority have not fixed any celing on the charges/channels etc, so the DTH operators have taken customers for a ride with not just their poor service(no signal during rains etc) but also with their overcharged 'packages'.
                                I totally agree. The tata sky connection si far from "jinghalala" A helpline that never helps, autocratic behaviour by the company escalating the charges at their will, etc.. I understand they wont be refunding the balance amount in the account. I am looking for other alternatives like hathway or dish tv/sun dth/big tv. If I find them cheaper, would cancel tata's .
                                The least tata can do is to all ow us to choose atleast language channels. Why should I subscribe for nepal, etv bihar, marathi gujarati etc. when I would never see them.

                                I had subscribed to Tata Sky on Monday and have already paid Rs 1999/- by credit card. I have not received the box yet even though more than 72 hours have passed. I was assured that I shall be receiving my receiver/box with in 48-72 hours. I was told 72 hours is on the extreme end (for rural areas) and in Metros like Delhi I shall get it within 48 hours.                                 I recharged my tata sky connection with 500 rs. But in a 10 days only it is giving me notification that my connection is not recharged please recharge the connection to get the services.
                                Even we face the same issue today date 17/7/2022 the money has been debited and we did not get any services .. that asked us to install an Remote Desktop application with the link inside app and hack the my card CVV and with in a minute I got message of debit money … and when we call them back he started abusing to us as well as to police. Please please beware from this fraudulent.Thank god that we had just 1000 rs in my account otherwise theft all money. Even though after transection has been done, in my YONO they send messege from Flipkart server that the amount has been debited from Flipkart …Very studd!!! And big theiff.. plzz don’t by this DTH.

                                  I got new LCD TV which purchased in USA and I have normal Tata Sky set top box installed at my home since 2 years(on OLD TV), I have tried to connect my new TV with the box but I was getting only voice, so I called Tata sky customer care & raised a complaint for the same, engineer came & just checked cable & called his senior, he said Tata sky only support PAL technology not NTSC which is in USA, that's why its not supporting, so he suggested me to upgrade with HD set top box so via HDMI port you can connect new TV & see the TV. So I raised 2nd request to upgrade with confirmation if HD box doesn't support can you take it back, they agreed & gave me option to select of cash on delivery, then engineer came & checked HD box with new TV but its also not supported so I said keep old box as it is & take back HD box, then they installed old box again & went. But after sometime I got SMS as your HD connection activated & when I checked status on TV its got negative something -1400 Rs & my balance was before this around 450 Rs., It means They deducted 1800 Rs. for HD upgrade from my account which actuality not done, I also called the engineer He said by mistakenly I have activated HD on your account so please take HD box other wise your connection will get disconnected for 15-30 days. But I didn't agree as it was not supporting to my TV. then next day my tata sky connection got deactivated on 9th June 2013. since 9th June I have called customer care more than 50 times but since 13 days I am not able to see TV channels & they are telling it will get resolve soon daily they are committing 24 hours but still same status. I am facing this problem because of that engineer who activated HD mistakenly. And Tata sky saying that for validation it taking time. As I am unable see TV since 13 days & per their service I don't want to stay with Tata sky anymore I want my balance money of 450 Rs back and also they should take their set top box, dish back & refund me the amount of set top box also. Please do the needful & suggest

                                  Now I have old TV attached with old normal set top box, but in tata sky record my HD upgraded.

                                    In continuation of my previous mail I want to clarify that it is a poor cheapest business running by TATASKY that every 3 to 6 months TATASKY setup box collapsed by intentionally and then they are asking for replace tatasky setup box of Rs.500/-. The terrible thing is this the replacement of tatasky setup box which is already repaired and replaced by so many it is being replaced to you.

                                    As per the complaint -
                                    1. WO# 1-[protected] on 14th June 2013 the call is hold due to the
                                    2. WO# 1-[protected] on 15th June 2013 the call has been completed by Gulshan Kumar help line no. [protected]

                                    I want justice in this regard or otherwise I switch it to CABLE connection, because the cheating level in this level is not there.

                                    PREVIOUS Complaint -

                                    Myself Jugal Barik consumer of Tatasky id [protected] having a strong complaint about the services of your setup box. I change setup box on 17th June 2012 and the next month only it was replaced on 19th July 2012. In this year 12th February 2013 again my setup box replaced. I complaint again yesterday 13th June 2013 regarding the same. the service engineer came checked/verified and found the complaint is critical. the setup box not responding properly. The main menu automatically open between every 2-3 minutes.

                                    Tatasky every time asking for money Rs.500/- while changing of setup box.
                                    Kindly look into this matter and solve this problem

                                    my tata set up box is not working properly & i dont want tata sky setupbox because the tata sky services is very third class and i want to disconnect my connection & iwant my money back, so sir i want to request you to disconnect my connection as soon as possible.my tata set up box is not working before three days and iam complaint on tata sky indore service center on this no.[protected], miss VANDANA picked a phone and gave me complaint no .1-[protected].she told me sir your request is login and our technision is coming as soon as possible but no one can come.my daily ruppees is dedect from my tata account why i am giving that money .that's why i want to disconnect my connection, this situation is happened with me in second time.

                                    Tata Sky Setup Box — Order cancellation for delyed services

                                    1. Tatasky free home delivery taken a request on 6th Oct 08 to complete all installation process before 13Oct08 commitment.
                                    2. Set topbox recieved 12th OCt 08.
                                    3. Contacted customer care for installation and get confirmation with 6hr+2hr=8hrs installation will complete.
                                    4.On 14th I got a confirmation that 14th 2Pm-4.30Pm is your installation time which is skipped to 4.30Pm to 7PM.
                                    5. No one has completed the process and on 15th Oct 08 requested for Order cancellation no-1-[protected]. As per Girish's concern they will recieve that set top box within4days. Within 15days I can get my cash back in to my account.
                                    6. Last 3days my family is getting call to reinstall it.
                                    7. Today 22Oct08 I called customercare and got idea that order cant be cancelled. They are going to install it today.
                                    8. How they are force fully doing it. Help us to cancell the order.

                                    TATA SKY DTH — replacement of Setup Box

                                    I have complaint about replacement of my set up box on 28/5/09 vide complaint No.1-[protected]. The connection is under my father's name (Binoy Kr, Gogoi) and we reside at Sibsagar (Joysagar, near civil hospital, AB tent house). I would request to please consider my request as soon as possible.
                                    I think you should contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quiet prompt in their reply and will help you out.                                       I have booked a Tata DTH on 13-Jun-13 and was promised to have the installation done in 24 hrs which was not done. i called them to check as to when the intallation will be done and spoke to their representative Ritu on 18-Jun-13 she promised taht i will get a call from thier installation team(Back office Team) in 24 hours which i did not get so i called back after 3 hrs and spoke to Rehman - Ref call number 1-[protected] and again i faced the same isssue so once again i had to call up that is on 19-Jun-13 and sopke to Mohmamed Akbar who transfered the line to his senior Prakshit who promised me that the installation will be done and not to be suprised this time again it was not done. so coming back to square one i had to invest my valuable time and money to make the call and fined out what is wrong spoke to Gurudev and then Reshma and right now i m still holding the call since past 20 minutes waiting for this senior guy Mangesh to get back to me and let me know as to when the installation is going to be done...

                                      Now all i can do is wait.. Is there any other option?????

                                      TATA SKY DTH — Installation not done

                                      Purchase of setup boxes/connection for 2 TV sets with grand pack-annual base @Rs.5273.00 had been done through Mr.Sanchit fron Tata Sky Chandigarh office on 06-11-10.

                                      6 days have passed.

                                      In spite repeated calls to your call centre, no one had called, and nothing had been delivered/installed/activated.

                                      As purchase has been done through credit card, I do not have choice to cancel my order.

                                      I was really not expecting this pathetic service. Why you are ruining name of TATA.

                                      Request to please install and active today itself.

                                      Tata Sky DTH payment — Payment deducted but my tata sky account not activated

                                      My account has been debited on account of tata sky payment of Rs 350 on 28th April 2011. But actually the tata sky has not been recharged yet..............

                                      You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will check the status of installation and expedite action. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and send an installer to set up your connection asap.

                                        Hi Tata Sky,

                                        There was maintenance work done in my complex where they closed the Electrical Duct from top. For doing this they changed the orientation of the dish.

                                        I called the Tata Sky customer care complaining about the same and got an appointment to fix for 15th June 2013. They kept postponing it every hour and finally showed up at 4:00 PM. The technicians who came had no idea about what is happening the satellite finder they had was showing the signal but nothing was seen on TV.

                                        The technicians didn't had any technical expertise for solving the issue. They were randomly rotating the dish in all possible directions.

                                        Finally after meddling for 1 hour till 5:00 PM they said Sir Dish is messed up, this conclusion was made based on the observation that the arm for the receiver is loose. They informed me that new dish will cost Rs.450/- and they will get it on Sunday 16th June 2013.

                                        Now it is 5:00 PM and no one has showed up so far.

                                        Tata Sky — Relocation Harresments

                                        My Sub. ID is [protected]. This is regarding to my request # 1-[protected]. I was promised that I would receive a call till 11 AM next morning. But as expected I haven't received any call. Regarding same I again made a call and I was promised that within next 2 hours I would receive a call. And this continues for 4 - 5 times. I made call and receive the same reply from your service center.
                                        Still after around 30 hours, I haven't receive a single call from your side.
                                        Is this the way TATA deal with it's old customer. Thank god that I haven't recommended TATA SKY to any of my friend, and after this incidence I even don't want to recommend.
                                        I haven't seen such a worst customer relationship services from any company.
                                        I request you to please refund me my INR 1000.00 (account balance).

                                        We are one of your customer having 2 Tata sky connection. We are in process of shifting from vasant kunj to GK, we have been continously trying to seek help from customer service but till date no one has been able to help us with it. Their dialogue is ' Shifting of Tata sky can be done throuhg electican we would ne be able to provoide any assistance on the same'. Till date I had lot of confiedence on Tata Products but with this kind of experience m in two mind, should i actually continue with it..

                                        I am a Tata Sky customer and have experienced good service by the Co. I have one of my friend who also ownes Tata Sky and was shifting to his natives he got in touch with the nearest dealer of that locality to gain assistance related to the product and also the CC assisted him with shipment.I'm sure there must be meny dealers in your new location to get the service you have right to.
                                        Well Ashish, I faced the same thing too. I moved from Delhi to Hyderabad and wanted my connection shifted. But for 2 weeks no one turned up. They are blood suckers!
                                        I think you should contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quiet prompt in their reply and will help you out.
