Respected Sir,

I just bought two tatasky+hd and paid Rs13000 for the set-top boxes and your company people reduced my account balance now its in negative and when i asked y did u guys reduced my balance there where like we reduced ur activation charges n but the charges are already included in the payment that i made.

It has been two weeks since my complain got registered but no action took place n ur customer people were very rude and n didn't help at all
i hope you would look into the matter

    Our subscriber ID is [protected] and we have raised an up gradation request on the 2nd of November, 2012 and we have been hearing from Tata Sky that there is a technical problem on my Set-top box and they will not be able to upgrade the box from a normal set-top box which i bought from Tata Sky.

    Now my problem is unique to Tata Sky. I have 2 set-top boxes that i have purchased from Tata Sky. One in 2007 and the other in 2010-11. Tata Sky has made my 2010-11 connection a primary connection and since I did ask for a removal from a multi-room setup the 2007 box was executed. Now when I want to upgrade the 2007 box to an HD or an HD+ connection, I have been informed that I will need to first active the 2007 box and then only upgrade. As a customer, I will like to upgrade from an old box and thus I did ask for an upgrade from the 2007 box which is not happening for the last 10 days.

    One end I hear from the Tata Sky Customer Care that you are a premium customer and they treat you like dirt. The installation guys have to be pleaded to come home to have a look and repeatedly they disappoint you in making you wait and never come after promises. I have had innumerable SMS's stating a time of visit without even asking the customer and this is absolutely painful.

    The set-top box I am trying to upgrade is Digicomp No:[protected] and the Digicard number is[protected] and since my request has not been taken seriously, I demand a refund of my services that i have paid for.

    I would like to ensure that no customer is taken as a piece of and this is absolutely unacceptable. I can't imagine an upgrade not happening for the last 10 days and no technical problem can last so long.

    My current active connection is set top box no:[protected]) and the active Digicard is[protected].

    There are various people who have been trying to give me a bad time and I will like to name them for your benefit later

    1. Mr. Rathore - Channel Partner - +[protected] This person has been asking the engineer not to visit my place though he is supposed to schedule the visit
    2. Engineer - +[protected] Never visits on the scheduled time
    3. Numerous Service staff - Please do look at the customer records to see the number of times i have called and wasted my money and time but never got a problem solved

    I would like to terminate my services as Tata Sky is not in a position to take a simple request to upgrade my connection and I will request your help to get this going.

    I think you love your customers to attrite and this is absolutely ridiculous. I planned to sort out this today in vain and thus now will not request anything else!
    If Tatasky is unable to provide me a basic HD connection, I would demand a refund and to my investment made to Tata Sky and I would like Tata Sky to honor my request to walk off as a customer. My request is to solve this request within the next 24 hours or pay back the amount of money I have paid you till the 10th of March 2012.

    God bless your company if you have such pathetic (toned down word) service and please do note that you might be a leading provider but not a monopoly provider

    TataSky — not providing the hd boxes

    I, ASHWANI GUPTA resident of 106, avtar enclave, Paschim vihar, new delhi-110063 would like to state that I have two TATASKY ID’S registered under my name.
    1) [protected]

    2) [protected]

    I had placed the following orders

    1) 04 tatasky HD boxes & 01 HD + box on 13 may 2011 in my Ist ID—ORDER NO.:[protected]. &[protected] respectively.

    2) One more HD box on 15 May 2011 in my II nd ID. The order no is 1-[protected].

    On 15 May 2011, only one HD + box & on 21 May 2011 only one HD box (under my II nd ID) were installed at my place but there was no response for the rest of my order for 03 nos. of HD boxes.

    My reminders to Customer care of tatasky:-

    1) On 17 May 2011, I gave the Ist reminder call to tatasky costumer care at 11.50 AM. I was assured that the boxes would be installed within 24 hours

    2) On 18 May 2011, I gave II nd reminder call at 11.15 AM & was given the same assurance as on the previous day

    After seeing no progress in the process, my complaints to Customer care:-

    1) On 19 th May 2011 at 2.45 PM, I filed a complaint against order no.:- 1 & 3. The respective complaint nos. are 1-[protected] & 1-[protected]

    2) On 20 th May 2011 at 3.25 PM, I lodged another complaint. The complaint no. is 1-[protected]

    3) On 21 st May 2011 at 3.00 PM, I lodged another complaint. The Complaint no. is 1-[protected]

    4) On 22 nd May 2011 at 5.30 PM, I lodged another complaint. The complaint no. is 1-[protected]

    At present i.e. on 22 May 2011, I have no information about the status of my pending orders mentioned above. There seems to be a major fraud going on surrounding the HD boxes in TATASKY.

    Such incompetence is a shame on the face of TATASKY, a firm which is owned by the Respected Sir RATAN N AVALTATA.
    Can anybody respond against my this complaint or shall I be forced to take legal help?

      Hi, my name is Alok and our Taka sky ID - [protected], which is registered on my father-in-laws' named Parshuram Patil. He gifted me that setup and now I wanted to make install/ relocate to my home (details given to Tatasky customer care) which is in Nahur. But, Im only receiving response that "You will receive our call after 2 hrs", till the date I haven't received a single call. I talked to numerous executives named ankit, priya, nisha, shilpa (emp id - 65882), kuldeep, kusum, Ravindra sakhare (emp id - 46712) and none of them gave me exact info/ resolution. Im so frustrated about the useless services. Plz, help me... My # [protected]

      TATA SKY DTH — waiting for a local relocation for last 18 days

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I have a tatasky connection with subscription number [protected]. I have registered a request for a local relocation on 30 th Sep with number 1-[protected]. Despite repeated reminders nothing has happened till now. Moreover, the remarks of the call centre executives are really amazing. These are some of my experiences with the call centre executives and their remarks.

      1. The call centre executives repeated provided us false information

      2. They told me that once we buy Tatasky we are at the mercy of Tatasky

      3. They also told me that she has been unable to contact the team at my place during last 18 days. I would request them to use Airtel.

        Dear Sir/Mam,
        I Mukesh Jena a customer of Tata sky Digital TV requested Tata sky on 31st Oct 2012 to relocate my connection to my new address where I have shifted now. I was provided a service request number to my surprise I discovered later that the agent who took the call understood that I am relocating in the same building. Without any intimation or call from Tata sky my service request order was cancelled. I called them again to book another service request and after a lot of phone call which is a paid number they booked the request on 4th Nov 2012. Sir, today is 9th Nov 2012 and till now I have not received any call from their concerned team for relocation. A four year old customer with Tata sky gets an excuse that the current digitization process by Govt of India is the reason of their inefficiency. It's been ten odd days, I have been visiting to my old address since the landlord will not allow any engineer without my presence. Each day, I wait there that someone from Tata sky will visit to relocate the service. To my disappointment, I always waste a day of my work in office. It has serious mental and financial burden on a customer who has stayed with them for such a long time. I have all the service request SMSes with me as a matter of proof. How can a company be so careless in providing service to old customers only because of new customers?
        I would request you to kindly go through the complaint. I need a compensation for all the phone calls and working days losses since this kind of carelessness is absolutely unacceptable.

          I am an existingTata sky customer.My id no. is [protected].It was installed when I was in Ludhiana. I shifted to Delhi a couple of months ago.
          On 2nd of november,I called up customer service at [protected] and put in an urgent request to reinstall my tatasky. They gave me work order reference no.1-[protected] and assured a service call after 2 hrs. unfortunately nothing was done.No contact made by the company or any time for installation given.
          Today is 9th and already 8 days have passed and the company has done absolutely nothing ,not even a call regarding my status.Everyday I am calling them up,a new person answers ,takes detailes,commits that they will contact in 2 hrs. but NOTHING HAPPENS.
          I am totally harrassed by this highly unprofessional attitude of a company,which is only interested in making new clients,and do not care for providing decent ,prompt services which they claim while selling their product.
          I am simply wasting time and money calling them up again and again with no results.
          I request the concerned authority to look into my case and ensure prompt action .

            I would like to bring to notice about the hardship faced by myself in the process of requesting a installation. I have been a happy customer with Tata sky for over 3 years. In fact we have retained the same account in spite of our relocation from Hyderabad to Chennai even though i had several cost effective offers from local cable providers and other dish operators.

            However in the recent relocation request, the dish was dismantled on-time but never got installed even after 10 days. Below are the some of the key events which has happened to my complete dissatisfaction.

            1. My original request date for re-installation was 29th October. I called Tata sky on 29th morning to inform for reschedule to 30th since there was a heavy down pour of rain at Chennai. A technician was sent on 31st afternoon. He fixed the dish alone and was in a hurry to leave home because he had rest of the day taken off. He informed he could not get signal and a new technician will be sent tomorrow.

            2. No one turned up for next few days. However every single day i kept getting SMS indicating that my WO (work order) has been rescheduled. I managed to get the local Tata sky support number but the lady was not helpful. She promised to send a person the next day but even the promise was not full filled.

            3. This kept on happening (SMS was timely sent indicating the WO is rescheduled). There was no information indicating as to why it was getting rescheduled.

            4. I completely lost patience and started calling the call center (i believe it is in Hyderabad) for help. The call center team gave encouraging words and several promises that a technician will be sent tomorrow and everything will be taken care.
            Even this did not help and promises broken. My WO was still getting rescheduled (as this is was the only thing which was happening on time)

            5. This kept on happening for 3 - 4 days. I made sure that next time i call the Call center i will ensure to ask the reason why my WO was getting rescheduled. I was really surprised to find out the reason when i called the next day. The reason told to me was "because of power cuts" my installation has to be rescheduled. Kindly note, am living within Mahindra World city SEZ zone where there is 100% power backup provided.

            6. Finally i again called on 5th November and informed that i completely lost all confidence of my dish getting installed and informed them to disconnect the service. Mr. Shubar (from call center) promised me again that he has made note in the case log if the dish does not get installed by 6th November evening then he would request for cancellation.

            7. The history repeated, no one came on Nov 6th. So i called the call center again and informed them to cancel my account and requested for complete refund.

            Note the above agony and sequence of events have really made me to be very stressful.

            Kindly note the locality is newly formed and coming up with more than 100+ individual homes. I had discussion with my neighbours and found the same concerns have been echoed by them too. Due to this as a community we planned to avoid Tata Sky and look for other providers preferably Dish network.

            To my surprise even the Tata sky technicians who have visited my house earlier have told me that Dish Network offers much better technical support compared to Tata sky. The events which i have faced recently had made the statement TRUE.

              Hi,

              We have been using Tata Sky HD plus for over one year and this is one of the worst customer service experiences we have had.

              Subscriber ID: [protected]

              This is regarding our latest W/o 1-[protected].

              Background of this issue:

              We have a HD tatasky settop box and lately had an issue with the HDMI output. We placed a complaint with tatasky as we were not receiving any signal. Tatasky representative who worked on this issue told us to get our TV HDMI port/cable checked as normal avi output worked fine on our set topbox and if there is no issue with the TV tatasky would replace the settop box.. So we went ahead and got our tv checked and found it to work fine.

              So we placed a complaint on 31/10/12 (w/o 1-[protected]). No representative called or came to fix this issue until 4/11/12 so we called again to escalate this issue only to find the issue had been closed/completed even without anyone attending to it!

              We raised yet another complaint (w/o 1-[protected]) on 4/11/12 and went on to receive repeated sms alerts saying issue has been completed, new w/o numbers etc, all this without anyone attending to the issue at all. The Sms said "the call has been completed by installer Praveen Kumar J".

              Subsequent to which, we called your customer support call centre and asked for escalation point. The representative connected us to one Riyaz Ali in Hyderabard who is probably the team leader. He assured us that someone would call us before 12 noon today. However, we just got a call from a junior representative asking us if the complaint has been resolved and promised to send a new work order number but nothing has happened. After this so far, no one has attended to this. Since yesterday we have been getting newer work order sms left right and centre and not sure what the hell is going on. In total, we have received close to 10 work order numbers, ever since we started the first log of the complaint.

              As of today (5/11/2012), no one has attended to this pending complaint, we have not received any calls from the local tatasky representative and this issue has not been fixed. We are extremely frustrated and disappointed with the way this issue is being handled. There is no clarity as to if and when this issue is going to be fixed at all!

              Overall, it appears Tata sky is taking customers for granted and treating the service as a joke. If your service team or franchise wants to close customer calls just for the sake of meeting SLAs, I am sorry to say that this is unacceptable and appalling customer orientation. We need some higher level intervention here and need it ASAP. We would expect replacement of the faulty set top box and nothing less. We hope to see some corrective measures taken in the next two days.

              I SHIFTED MY HOME RECENTLY HENCE CALLED UP TATA SKY CUSTOMER CARE TO REINSTALL IT AT MY NEW LOCATION WHICH IS IN GREATER NOIDA. I GOT MESSAGE FROM TATA SKY THAT THE ENGINEER WILL VISIT AT 4 PM ON 27'TH JUNE'10 WHEREAS NOBODY TURNED UP THAT DAY HENCE I REGISTERED A COMPLAINT, IN REPLY TO WHICH THEY CALLED ME UP SAYING THAT THE ENGINEER MET WITH AN ACCIDENT HENCE COULDN'T COME (AMAZING TATA IS RUNNING HIS HUGE BUSINESS WOTHOUT HAVING ANY BACK UP EMPLOYEE) AND THEY WILL SEND AN ENGINEER SHARP AT 12PM TODAY WHICH AGAIN NEVER HAPPENED. I DONT KNOW HOW SUCH A BIG COMPANY IS RUNNING. DISHEARTENING THING IS THAT THEY CHARGE RS.350 FOR REINSTALLATION EVERY TIME YOU CHANGE HOME AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PATHETIC. AS I AM FED UP WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE HENCE I AM TRYING TO SELL MY TATA SKY FOR 500 RS. PLEASE CONTACT ME AT [protected]. IN CASE OF TATA SKY YOU CAN NEVER EXPECT GOOD SERVICE EVEN IF YOU PAYING FOR IT.
              I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I too had complained on forums providing my subscriber id and was glad that Tata Sky's customercare personnel got in touch with me.They already knew my nature of problem and instantly took the necessary steps to activate my account. Since, you too have shared your subscriber id I am sure Tata Sky's team have got in touch with you and resolved your issue.

                1 month before,tata sky added the channel star cricket without our request,we have called the customer care several times but to response they have not deactivated the channel.Now if we trying to call them they are not responding.They had told that this channel has been added mistakely but still they have but still they have not dropped the channel from our pack.Our tata sky ID is [protected].i request u solve this problem as quick as possible.

                    I had requested for a relocation subscriber id [protected] at my place to Tata sky on telephone (work order 1-[protected]) .The tatasky person called me that he will be coming on 26-10-12 ,but as I was not in the city, so i told it to do it after 2 days...Before doing the relocation and visiting at my place ,i recd a msg that ur call has been closed and the relocation has been done ,and a charge of Rs 175/- has been deducted from ur account and Kindle pay it to enjoy uninterepted services.. Again i gave a complaint to Tatasky (comp number 1-[protected]) that none o[censored]r executive has arrived at my place ,then why the charge has been deducted frm my account..but till date 31-10-12 I m not receiving a positive answer from tatasky nor my account has not been recredited nor any tatasky person has visited my place for relocation ..
                    kindly look into the matter ( I KNOW THE AMT IS JUST 175/- BUT ITS NOT FOR THE AMT I M FIGHTING FOR ,ITS FOR THEIR CHEATING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS WHICH THEY CAN DO TO MANY PPL )

                      I bought a multi TV tata sky connection. I paid amount as per the recommendation of engineer but he charged my account with lesser amount. That resulted in disconnection of my TV. Actually he asked me 3050 Rs, which I paid to retailer. But, Tata sky engineer charged my account with Rs 2950 only. They debited the money for extra wire from my account. This is a criminal breech of trust. I don't think one should keep money in accounts, because company can steal money from it.I made a complaint, but no satisfactory response from tata sky. Although honest shopkeeper has returned my money, but company did not listen a word.

                        Hello, My TATASKY set-top box is not working since 23rd of Oct, 2012 for which I lodged a complaint on 24th Oct,2012 at around 4 p.m. I clearly stated the Customer care representative of TATASKY that this is the 3rd time that I have to ask for replacement of FAULTY set-top box since my warranty has expired almost a year ago. The customer care representative assured me on this day of 24th Oct, 2012 that a TATASKY Representative will contact me within 48Hrs. NO ONE CONTACTED ME TILL THE EVENING OF 26TH Oct,2012. On the evening of 26th Oct, 2102 again I contacted TATASKY with the same complaint and this time again the Customer care representative of TATASKY assured me that a representative of TATASKY will definetely contact me and change my SET-TOP Box by afternoon 27th Oct, 2012. On 27th Oct, 2012 at around 12:30 p.m the representative of TATASKY contacted me and assured that he will be visiting my place to change the FAULTY TATASKY set-top box by evening of 27th Oct, 2012. On this day,28th Oct, 2012 I again contacted him at 11 a.m and he said he will reaching my place till 1 p.m to change the faulty TATASKY set-top Box. But at 2 p.m when I again contacted the same TATASKY Representative to ask about when shall he reach our place to my amaze the TATASKY representative had switched off his Cell Phone. There are certain key things which should be noted in my problem which are as follows:
                        1) When a TATASKY set-top Box is not in warranty period a charge of Rs.350 is levied upon the customer for replacement of the same.
                        2) The replaced set-top box is a 2nd hand set-top Box and has a warranty of only 3months.
                        3) These REPLACED 2nd Hand SET-TOP BOXES in my case start creating a problem after 3 and a half months and stop functioning by the 4th month.
                        4) This is almost the 3rd time when I need to replace my TATASKY set-top Box for a charge of Rs.350. Which if we accumulate for a year becomes almost Rs. 1200 to 1300 p.a which is over and above the normal charges that I pay for the services. Also Excluding the charges that is mandatory to be paid by the consumers also for the no. of days the set-top box was inactive.
                        5) Even after 3 repeated complaints after the 1st complaint on 24th Oct, 2012 I have still not received any response from the representative of TATASKY regarding the solution to complaint.

                          I purchased a DTH connection from Tata Sky on 8 October, 2012. My subscriber ID is [protected].

                          The installation engineer installed a set-top box that is mapped to a different subscriber ID - [protected].
                          Due to this I am not getting all the services/packages that I had paid for. I am getting an urgent payment request message displayed on my screen permanently which is for the subscriber [protected] and not me. The services on set-top box installed on my premises would be deactivated and suspension fees would be charged if the subscriber [protected] does not make payment.

                          This is because Tata Sky installation engineer installed someone else's set-top box at my residence.

                          I raised the following requests to get my own set-top box.

                          It has been 20 days now that the issue has not been resolved. And the channels that the set-top box at my residence is not receiving the channels I had subscribed to.
                          The customer care executives keep on forwarding the call to their supervisors which are unreachable. Upon requesting a call back, they promise it within 2 hours. However, no call-back have been received!

                          Even after telling the customer care executives the entire scenario, they have always said that they need validation of the issue by an engineer who would visit me to check if what I am saying is correct or not!

                          I have emailed the issue to [protected]@tatasky.com, [protected]@tatasky.com twice without any results.

                            I paid entire amount on 20th Oct'12 and till date my service is not activate

                            On 23rd Oct'12 i was requested no.1-[protected] and it was cancelled without any intimation to me

                            On 25th Oct'12 second request no.1-[protected] for the same i recd sms as on 26th Oct'12 at 3 pm my time is schedule as one engineer is coming but still no reply

                            I lost 2 nuts so i told i am ready to pay for that but no response from tata sky

                            So request you to please help me in issue rather they paid my entire amount with interest or start my service as from last 7 days i m waiting.

                              I had been using TATA sky for the past four years or so. I was always not happy with the service they provided, but as I had already spent a lot of money to buy the Set top boxes (though, at that time I could have opted for a local cable operator also, without buying a set top box), I continued with TATASKY even though there was considerable problem with their attitude and service of the so called Technicians.
                              Now, they have resorted to unfair trade practices and deducting unfair amount of money from my account.
                              The list is endless against the harassment done by the Tata sky team. I recently got problems in my TV and most of the times; the set top box was not receiving any signals. I called the customer care center and the highly qualified technician visited my place, though not on the decided upon time and also didn’t follow the Company’s policy of calling a subscriber before visiting the place. Even then, I let him enter the home as I had no choice. The highly qualified technician did only Hit and trial and switched off the TV once or twice and also changed the cables of the TV (which I had done almost 10 times, 1st myself on my own, then I was forcefully asked by the customer care executive to do it at my home before she could lodge my complaint, and again the Highly qualified technician did the same thing, but now he was charging for this highly sophisticated work and for his time!). Now, he said the cable was loose or something and he has tightened it and went away without even paying any heed to my advice that this is a temporary solution and I have done it earlier myself and I was charged 125 bucks for it. Again the problem resurfaced and I had to again lodge a complaint and go through the same ordeal again and this time he bluntly said that there is a problem with the set top box and I asked him to repair it but he said this can’t be repaired and then he changed the set top box, to my surprise, an old one. Within an hour or so, again the set top developed problems as he had not reset the set top box with my subscriber id and so the connection was disconnected. This time again I had to call the customer care and go through the same ordeal and now finally he changed the set top box with a new one, on 11th July or near to it.
                              Now, since 20th October, some channels were not being displayed even though I had paid for it and on 25th October I again had to lodge a complaint and the customer care person “Sonu” ( she goes by the first name only. Even my repeated attempts to ascertain her real name went in vain. The call was made at 8pm from [protected] on the number -[protected]. Then I asked to let me speak to a senior and she refused at first but finally hesitantly transferred my call to “ Naveen Kumar”. I am quoting the call details so that you actually listen to the adamant attitude of the customer care people over there. They were only concerned with ending the call and were constantly repeating the words that the visit of the service engineer will be chargeable at Rs.125 and not at all bothered at listening to my woes!). After that they told me that the warranty of the set top box is only 3 months and I have to pay again for the set top box, if there is any need to replace it.
                              I want to know from where you buy these faulty, poor quality set top boxes where you get only 3 months warranty! And who gave you the authority on our behalf to install it and make us pay for it and also don’t let us buy it from the outside market when it is available for 800 bucks upfront with 1 year warranty. It’s clearly a case of cartel of all the DTH service providers and unfair trade practices.
                              Finally, they asked me about the time I want them to visit my place and I said I want them to visit as soon as possible and they said that they will visit my place between 10am-12 pm, next day. Now, early morning I received a call confirming whether the technician can visit my place today, and I said Yes. (Though, I couldn’t understand the purpose of this call!)
                              After an hour I got a message that the Highly Qualified technician will visit my place at 5.20pm. And even before I could reschedule my day, after another hour, I got a call from Highly Qualified technician that he’ll visit my place in ten mins. Now, he made me do all the stuff he asked, like giving him the stairs to climb up to the dish at my place and also assist him in checking and doing the Highly technical stuff. I am made to pay for the service and also wait for these illiterate technicians and mess with the impolite customer care executives and also assist these unqualified technicians while he goes about his job of checking the fault, though the fault is obvious with the set top box and he is not willing to listen. I want refund of all the money spent on the repairs and also security deposit given at the time of installation. Again, another part has been changed and I didn’t get any warranty card, no papers and no slip for the charges, didn’t get the part which has been changed ( though I paid for the new part) and again I had been told that the warranty for the above product is just 3 months!
                              I want one of the four options-
                              1. Refund me the amount deducted for the service and repair and payment for changing of the faulty set top box provided by you.
                              2. Extend the warranty of the product provided by you and if any problem occurs, you should be liable for the charges.
                              3. Allow me to buy the set top box and other parts being changed by you (as I will get at least 1 yr. warranty, if I buy it myself).
                              4. Refund me the entire amount and disconnect the services.

                                Hi All i had purchased an Lcd Tv on 20 Oct 2010 with that i got assured gift of Tata Sky settop box and i had done all required procudure to claim the settop box, it was mention in the Tata Sky coupen that you will get that box in four hours from when you send the customer details to Tata Sky. But today is 26 Oct 2010 till yet i didt got any call back from them even though i call up to the customer service center twice in that week but no use.                                 Tata Sky Set Top Box — not happy with its performance

                                i have bought a tata sky connection( subscription id [protected]) for my home where i keep visiting every 3 /4 months time in an year , my complaint is during my stay whenever i want to use your service (offcourse after recharging ) i have to face n number of problems after facing an endless calls at your call centre.... such as " your set top box is faulty...., " your gaurrentee period is over ..now you have to buy new one ..." and every time person visit would charge you Rs. 350/- undoubtedly...and my problems will not end here still i get interruption in my transmission. And whenever i visit next the story is not any different. I was to buy two more set top box connections for office ...now i m totally upset and HIGHLY dissatisfied with my existing one ...hat do i do??

                                    23 october 2012 may i recharge with 301 rs. recharge is scuccesfull.(special note:- after few second balance will be updated). after 1 hour i am check my account there is no recharge then i call to the customer care the customer care support says start your set-top box i am update your account on that time there is no electricity. so care supporter said call me where electricity comes. then i am again call to the care the supporter says your recharge is scuccesful .but company cannot recieve the amount. after 24 hour may i call again the customer care said same thing..balance is deducted in my account.

                                      + 2 month Pack

                                      Our conversation was on call, now I get to know that I only got one month pack instead of 2 month
                                      I called them but they are saying its only for booking online but at that time they never told me anything like that, Even they don’t want to validate it by checking the recording.

                                      You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will one month free viewing of the pack you were promised. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and provide appropriate resolution.

                                        After living abroad for about 10 years, I have settled down in India recently. One of the first thing I did is to get Tata Sky connection. One of the deciding factor was HD Gold Pack, which offered about 9 to 10 HD channels. Further based on feedback from my friend I took the decision, without proper investigation by myself. I took one Tata Sky HD+ and one additional Tata Sky HD box. Since we are from south, I took South Sport pack and HD Gold Pack, where I receive my important channels in HD like Star Cricket HD, ESPN HD, Star Movies HD and few other good HD channels which were not in my basic pack.

                                        Within this 5 Months Tata Sky had made many changes. Recently, Tata Sky increased the rate of Multitv HD box from Rs.160 to Rs.200. Further, the HD Gold Pack, which they offered for Rs.75 had been increased to Rs.100. Further to this, Tata Sky have removed the HD Gold Pack and announced as "HD Accessing Fee", with which you need to have SD channel to view its HD channel. Means, I need to have Star Cricket in SD package to view Star Cricket HD. Even though I pay this HD access fee, I cannot watch Star Cricket HD or ESPN HD, if I don't pay for Sports pack additionally... Currently I need to pay Rs.100 for HD access + Rs.200 for MultiTV which will make me to watch only 5 HD channels (reduced from 10 Channels).

                                        When I contact the customer service, they propose me to change my plan to higher level or I need to add the add-on pack. This means, I need to add sports pack, movie pack, English entertainment pack… if I need to watch all the HD channels which were coming in HD Gold Pack. This is not acceptable. How come the plans can be completely removed ?

                                        Since only two HD channels were useful to me for which I need to pay Rs.140/- (100 for access fee and 40 extra for multitv), I have decided to cancel the HD services. But TataSky say that MultiTV connection cost cannot be reduced from Rs.200 to Rs.160. Basically it is for the type of box and not for the package. This is again not acceptable. If I am watching HD channels, then it makes sense to pay extra. If I am not watching the HD channels, then I don’t need to pay the price of HD MultiTv as well.

                                        When I asked for cancelling my TataSky, they generously say that I don’t need to pay anything extra, where as I am expecting Tatasky to take back my set top box and refund. Basically, if I don’t use Tata Sky service, having this set top box is of no use. This cannot be used for any other purpose. I cannot use this set top box to use services from other service providers. Since this is locked for use with TataSky only it makes sense for TaktSky to take back and refund the money (after deducting reasonable usage fee).

                                        In conclusion, in the last 5 months of experience with Tata Sky, I am not happy with the pricing policy and Plan policy of Tata Sky. I see complete inconsistency in their pricing and plan. In spite of Tata Sky is offering less number channels in both HD and SD when compared to other rivals, they change the plan and pricing. I have no belief in Tata Sky to keep up with their price and plan when they increase the number of channels they offer. Hence I request you to cancel my connection and take back the two Set top box with a reasonable refund.

                                        Tata Sky — Increasing prices of subscription

                                        TATA SKY is cheating people first they sell a package by showing a number of channels included in that package and after some time when a number of people subscribe that package they remove channels from that package and form a new monthly package. That is cheating.

                                        Latest examples of this cheating is their Life Style Gold package and Sports Gold package, then they have another sports package and education gold package -- all created by removing channels from SUPER SAVER PACK but the strage this is still the price of super saver pack is same and we are paying much more than commited.
                                        this is completely true & very UNLIKE the BRAND TATA. Eeven the same has happened with me.

                                        Tata Sky — No refund - Wrong charges

                                        Tata Sky levies wrong charges and does not revert inspite of asking for a clarification multiple times. They are real Cheats.

                                        This is rediculous. Why am I being charged for your faulty boxes. Please credit the amount back to my account immediately.

                                        Now I am being charged for the faulty boxes and service charges(2 times within the same day) and I fail to understand why I should be penalized for problems at tata sky's end. In none of the cases the engineers mentioned that I will be charged for these.
                                        This is ridiculous. I never expected this from a brand like tata sky.

                                        Please let me know how to get this resolved.
