I have paid annual subscription for all channels on Tatasky and was receiving the same. The reply is quite funny and misleading.I have paid subscription for viewing a channel on full screen and not on a small window in my TV screen. The active channnels are not on full screen and one does not enjoy viewing a regular channel on such a small window in any TV, particularly a large screen LCD TV
Out of disgust and desperation I have now obtained Sun DTH as a parallel service so that I can enjoy these channels.
In any case the action of TataSKy in removing these channels from direct viewing is not a consumer-friendly act and is an insult to the customer, particularly for Tamilians in Chennai

I have tatasky connection on the name of Mr. Lalit Kumar Parmar and my registered sub ID [protected] From past one month my tatasky was not receiving signal for which my complaint was registered and the problem was also rectified. As I had my tele communication with Mr. Stephen on 03/09/2011, since my tatsky was not showing any picture for this problem he said that the concerned person will come to your place and rectify the problem.Your concerned person came to rectify the problem and they said that no service has been deducted from my account. Even Ms. Sandhya of Chennai department called to confirm whether the problem is rectified or not and she also specified that no charges has been deducted from your account.
But now the amount is deducted from my account and my balance is running in minus just because of your fault and my tatasky account is been deactivated. I have even spoke to Mr. Dinesh yesterday, he said that within 48 hrs your problem will be solved but in the mean time my account is been deactivated and the concerned has yet got in contact. I'm very disaapointed by your service and I wish you to take your box back and me back my amount of Rs. 4, 600/-. I feel like been cheated by your company.
Kindly, let me know under which government department your service relate to so I would register my complaint.

Tatasky has made few changes with the DD channels. Few channels have been replaced in Active Doordarshan and other channels are added to the list.
Here are the changes made. Channels added (full screen)
DD BHARTI 157
RAJYA SABHA 512
GYAN DARSHAN 571
DD URDU 898
Channels removed from fullscreen and added in Active Doordarshan
DD GUJARATI
DD PODHIGHAI
DD PUNJBI
hence these channels are not discontinued but are moved to active service. So there are more channels added.
