[Resolved]  Tata Sky + — HD channel extra fees

My self Pramod Ghogare a customer of TATA Sky + DTH service

i have HD set top box in which i have activated dahamal mix pack with 200 per month which includes number of channels with some HD channels but my query is this to activate HD channels they are asking for rs.100 per month which is ridiculous because id channels are present in package why to pay for activating that channels means its really illogical and not customer friendly also if i am activating HD channels they are charging for same channel in SD so if i am paying for HD channels then the SD channels amount should be deducted from package.

So please take some action over it.

Tata Sky — Fradulent offer to misguide customers

I bought Tata Sky 4 months back and I paid 5000 for set top box installation an 1 year subscription and now same services is being offered at 2000 and when I spoke to tata sky help line that why i am being charged premium for buying four months back they said I am getting free movies worth 4500 but when you see the list these movies are very old and already being screened on other channels when i requested instead of watching these old movies can I order some new movies they refused it what i am suppose to do please advice and guide.

This is clerly misguiding the Costomer .You please disconect and ask for refund of the balance amount
from the Tata sky, This is bound to do the same as per the Consumer Act. You can re-purchase with new channel with Tata Sky of Rs 2000/- or any other Service provider who are giving better service then Tata sky in the Market.

Tata Sky + — Engineer not behaving properly with ladies in house

I have recently replaced my old tat sky with tata sky plus and then on 13th Nov 2009 and WO number :1-[protected] was assigned to Engineer named Vivek and he was there on 14th Nov 2009 in the morning so my mom started the Tata sky box luckly it was working but my mom and little brother told him that it will work for few minutes and then after few its it will show a message of No-Signal so please wait for few minutes he said no I cannot wait and using bad word as " Oh " how I can explained this lady they are not undersanding and the language which he was using was very abusive so my mom told him go and she will loged another complain .Vivek (Engineer ) was from Roshan Services from Navi Mubai and there number is[protected] then my mom call again to call center of Tata sky and explain the whole scenario so they re-assigned the same WO number to another service engineer .

Note : Vivek was using bad words and not fit for the job as he is not suitable service engineer to be send to any another resident this kind of person can do anything if there is only lady in home as they cannot control there temper .

Request you to see into the matter so that none other person face the same kind of experience.

It is a bad incident that you have come across such an engineer but this is not Tata Skys fault as the agent Co. Roshan Services from Navi Mumbai sent the engineer but since Tata Sky name is associated this matter has to be lookep up to.Such behaviour will not be tolerated good thing you have put up your complaint against such arrogant engineer usually the customer service team have good rapport in their area. Other engineer will get your problem fixed as per the re-assigned visit and you should never come across such a problem again.

i am a TATASKY customer, and i am asking you why there is a complusory 3months package even for sports channels and cost is too much for each one of the channel ??????????
I agree this is the new low on business ethics from our TATA group. I am customer of TATA sky from 2005 onwards and bought the package when it was still in infant stage. For past two years I used to buy the mega annual package which use to include HD channels. This year when I went to update to mega annual I saw HD is left out from it and if I go for dhammal mix then I have t o pay extra for viewing these channels. I have decided this is the last year with TATA sky who every year is removing something from their annual pack and finding ways to charge extra. Now I am not watching HD on my TATA Sky HD box :(
