Hello.. I am a customer for Tatasky for the past four years. I always go for the annual pack which I pay minimum of 8000 rupees a year. In the past one year, there was three remote controls changed for me due to non-working after 2-3 months.. every time they change, they charge INR 225. This is really bad. You should supply some good quality remote. The remote supplied doesn't work after 2-3 months and I had to call for replacement and it is charged. The remotes I return has absolutely no damage. it is just doesn't work. Should I need to spend INR 1000 per year for the remote? Why I am need to continue if my money is looted in this way. When I ask the customer care, they say remote don't have warranty or guarantee.. you may log a compliant to get money back.. Is this the way a TATA company behave? Really bad.. You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will arrange for a callback and assist you accordingly. I think you can go for AMC to cover cost of any damage and service visit. You will have to check though whether remote replacement is covered under AMC. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and provide appropriate resolution to your remote issue.

    hi i have tatasky dth connection since 2006 and it was de activated from last 1 year and i call customer care to ask for some offer available on my connection representative told me about it and the i ask him to upgrade my set top box to HD box he transfer my all to another department then the guy told me that it will cost me 1800 rs then i told him that one of my friend got it in 990 he checked it and said i will get it if i will recharge my dish today it self so i have recharged my dish and called them again the the activate the yearly plan as i tell them and when i ask for HD Box then the refuse to provide me the box on 990 inr and hang up the call i called then again then they transferred my call to different -2 departments and different language in the end call dropped then i had a word with miss gurkirat kaur he assured me that i am a premium customer and i will get it on 990 inr and the will call me back after 1 hour with order details i waited for 2 hours no one called i called again and ask for order details and i came to know that no order has been placed and they told me that i am not eligible for this plan . i had a word with tl he has provided me the same information. i am cheated but tatasky agents the told a lie to pitch sale and there is no service at all they just harassing customer but keep on drooping calls again and again my contact number is [protected] same number register with tatasky

      Sir/ Madam, i am Manoharan.K.P, i registered a complaint against Tata sky regarding their servicing issues to Ashoka. com vide my complaint token no 344389 dtd 01.10.2013 in this complaint, I said my feelings against TATA SKY regarding their poor services. Now i dont remember my password to conduct them through online. So please help me to state my greaviances, i am very oldest customer of TATA SKY, now they are not responding to change my set up box. i tried to changing my set up box before two weeks. I have not demanded any fixed amount of compensation. Now i am fully worried about their service, they are post pond their service many times through their SMS till date. They are deducted my total amounts which are recharged within two weeks without any formal notice. (Total- Rs.300/-+ Rs. 416/-) Now i am feeling very loneliness in this world. My wife and children are waiting to watch news and other regional malayalam TV programmes. I am fully helpless due to their irresponsible service, I will wait two days only, if they are not changed my set up box within two days, I demanding Rs.5, 000/- of compensation against my feelings and deduction of my recharging amounts without any services.         we have registered a complaint to change the settop box on 14 of sept 13 they gave a workorder no1-[protected] on 16 sept 13. From that day onwards we are giving a call to the customer care to find out when the service personnel is suppose to come, such that somebody is there at home.Every time we get the answer that within 24-72 hrs somebody ll come and we were waiting.After 72 hrs on enquiry again they(customercare) said next 72 hrs. like this we kept on waiting for 15 days and on 30 sept they told us your complaint is cancelled, now you register the same complaintonce again work order no [protected] and positively within 24 hrs settop box will be changed. today is 5 oct 13, till now nobody has made a call or come to change.Tatasky service is pathetic now. please donot go for tatasky dth with this type of service.i shall be grateful if this matter is looked into.regards. tatasky id no[protected]

            I got a call to upgrade the set top box to HD and I agreed for the same. Since Tuesday (1st Oct 2013) they have rescheduled the visit more than 10 times. Its highly unacceptable and irritating to wait for the service guy leaving all the work behind and he never turns up. Don’t we have any other work other than waiting and calling the service high again and again. The service is PATHETIC and complete waste of time. Nitin [protected]
            I baught a new naked flat in May 2010 and builder gave settop box of TATA SKY as TATA SKY provided to all flats. I started living in the flat before Diwali. Just before I live in, I came to know that TATA SKY provided the list of DigiCard number that which settop box belongs to which flat...but mistakenly builder distributed, wrong settop box to wrong flat owner. Say that my settop box to others and others to me. Builder gave me numbers to call for connection...they are not turning up....not taking resposibility....Customer Call Centre told that the person who belongs to digicard u have should call us, then only we can connect at ur place. I convinced that u send the guy for installation, then I will manage with him as there is only 15 flates. Others who started living using alreday. They said that ok, within 48 hrs. person will call u. Today it completed 72 hrs., but no one turned up...I again contact builders office and ask for other number...the executive on that call ask for 350/- for connection charge....why? I want to get conncect my TATA SKY on urgent basis, at no extra cost of installation charge....otherwise I will convince my all friends of the building to put TATA SKY off and take other DTH.....
            I have been trying to contact tatasky helpline for the past 1 1/2mnth..... I am put on long holds on the helpline and still not able to get thru. Staff gives fake name...so each time we call them and ask...there is no such person.
            My ID [protected] and the signal is not working need technical help asap.....
            I WAS GIVEN TATA SKY WIYH MY NEW LG PLASMA.I HAVE BEEN CALLING CUSTOMER CARE SINCE 5 DAYS BUT TILL NOW NO NSTALLATION HAS TAKEN PLACE.EVERY TIME I M TOLD THAT THERE EXECUTIVE IS GOING TO CALL ME IN NEXT 4 HOURS.WHAT SHOULD I DO AS THE CLAIM MAKE BY COMPANY THAT INSTALLATION IS GOING TO BE CARRIED OUT WITHIN 72 HR NOW IT IS ALMOST 96+HOURS NOBODY HAS COME.MOST PATHETIC SERVICES I HAVE EVER SEEN

              I have a tata sky connection for more than a year and for the last one month have been trying to get a second set top box installed. I have made numerous request for this for which I have every time received the a work order number, all of which I am listing below:- 1-[protected] given on 14/9/2013 1-[protected] 1-[protected] I have also given a complaint, the number for which is mentioned in the subject. To get my second set top box installed I must have called your office at least 20 times. Every time the request was accepted and I was told the installation would happen and a work order number was sent by SMS. Twice someone came to do the installation, checked everything and went off saying they will come the next day, which never happened. When I would give a call to your call center I would be told your work order has been cancelled. Why and by whom, nobody from your organization could ever tell me. I have even spoken to a couple of your service managers who assured me that the work would be done but nothing was done. As you are incapable of providing the service I want despite my requesting for the same repeatedly, I want u to cancel my connection, refund all the money paid by me including installation and equipment charges at the earliest so that I can take a connection from some other DTH provider.                 While subscribing for a yearly HD package from Tata Sky, we were promised ALL future HD channels will be added in the subscription for FREE. The package consists of all channels available under Tata Sky. However, once the new channel 'Star World Premiere' was added under new HD channels, they denied the request by stating that the new channel was under a different package. I feel like this is a fraudulent scenario since Tata Sky could create new packages every time a new HD channel is launched just to deny their customers the service they were promised in an attempt to charge them more than they have already paid. The customer relationship adviser was extremely rude to me when I spoke to him about the promise Tata Sky had made. He insisted that I have to pay for it even though I am a longtime customer. The payment is 60 rupees per month and 500 rupees per year. Till date, we haven't received a single additional HD channel since we started the subscription even though the representative promised 26 additional HD channels in June. I really hope action is taken against them and that this issue is rectified!

                Heard Videocon D2H was providing Star World Premiere HD free for its Platinum HD subscribers but it was only a 3 days free preview. Videocon D2H is also charging Rs. 60pm and Rs. 500 annually for Star World Premiere HD. I won’t be surprised if Airtel Digital TV charges the same. I think the price of Star World Premiere HD is going to be same across DTH platforms. So I think the charge must be from the channel’s side and not from the DTH providers.

                  Subscriber ID : [protected] This is in reference to the Tata Sky HD connection that recently was upgraded to HD from SD on 2 Sep 13. I have been a Tata Sky SD consumer since 5 years now This was work order no 1-[protected].The name provided to me for installation was Guddu Chauchary and I got a call for the same from cell no [protected] and this person was someone else and not the name mentioned. During the installation HE SAID HE WAS NOT Guddu but carried out the same. Our saga started immediately … till date I have intermittent service of HD channels and I have not been able to watch even one match or one episode or movie completely on any of the HD channels… They either do not work or have freezing picture issue · On 9 Sep 13 I logged a complaint no 1-[protected] for which there was no response from your call center and no one came after which I logged another complaint 1-[protected] on 11 Sep 13. · The same technician who had installed the box came and changed a part on the dish and went away without saying anything, this was 12/09/13. Later I received messages for disconnection for non payment of charge for Rs 300 which I was never informed of. However I paid the charge and my problem still persisted. · On 15 Sep I tagged another call 1-[protected]. The same technician again comes and only switches on the TV and says all channels are working and leaves. · On 21 Sep 13 another call 1-[protected] is tagged and a request for a senior technician was placed. I again get a call from the same cell no mentioned above and when I say I need a senior technician I am told that one would call me and come the next day which just does not happen. · On 27 sep 13 I log another call and ask for the supervisor or manager to which I am told there is no one at the shift presently and on persistence I was put on to some one who claimed to be the supervisor of the shift. I narrate my ordeal all over again and am guaranteed that some senior technician will respond to me by 11 am the next day for sure, but surprisingly I receive a call from the same cell no who says there is no senior technician available and cuts the call even before I can complete my sentence. In the bargain I have spoken to three people claiming to be managers Ahmed, Zaid and Amjad and no one seems to understand my problem or is able to solve it remotely, forget to my satisfaction. I am tired of dealing with Tata Sky and humbly request you to please refund my entire year’s subscription that I have paid and take back the dish and HD box back as I have been pushed to my wits end and am an extremely dissatisfied customer who cannot see any thing being resolved anywhere in sight. I would rather take a service provider who knows how to provide one. The major problem is that the agents at your call center take down the details of your requirement and when an appointment is to be slotted and finally the technician comes at his own whims and fancies. The Group of company you work for talks about work ethics and customer focus and certainty of service. Sorry to say but none of these are visible. Requesting you once again to kindly arrange for a refund ASAP and also a compensation for all my agony and no service of HD channel from 01/Sep/2013 onwards.                     The company has no customer grievances policy. The help line or call center is probably the worse that I seen in this country. No escalation possible - supervisors are always "busy on another call" - they happily give you complaint number as no one supervises what happens to the fate of these complaints.

                    Not only that, they have equally worse and corrupt dealer network. They take money and never get you what you paid for. I opted for Annual HD Mega Pack (ID [protected]) and paid full money to their dealer Viva Marketing - online payment to their account in April 2013 - but till date I do not have the Mega Pack and the dealer puts in 100 - 300 ruppes recharge after my repeated calls on my account getting deactivated.

                    Over 20 complaints have been registered in the past 5 months with Tata Sky but no resolution so far.

                    Tatas - I guess hindi samajh nahi aati .. waat lagi hui hai ... "jinga lala" ka matlab nahin pata hai ;o)

                    But seriously if this is how TATA ventures are then it is pathetic..

                    I am wondering how TATA - Singapore Airlines would do ?? Poor Singapore Airlines... they were considered pioneer in the aviation field in being professional..

                    Dear Vikram Kaushik - pls pay some attention to the poor health of this venture... internet shows "Customer Satisfaction Levels" - CSL below 4% . I guess, it is the worst level for any company in India...some achievement here...

                      I have paid Rs2200/ to Tata sky on 13/08/2013 vide transaction id [protected] for their "Annual mix dhamal pack" as mentioned in their brocheur .It was confirmed over phone by their office personel and I received a confirmation msg in my registered mobile in this regard. But now i am receiving repeated msg in my mobile and on TV screen that my present balance is Rs 10/ and monthly payment is payable within 29/09/2013, non payment of which will attract penalty. Kindly advice them to update their system immediately.

                        Extremely unhappy with the fact that the newly launched Star Premier HD channel is not included in the annual mega HD channel package. As per the T&C for the same, it was offered that "any new channel launched on tata sky" will be automatically included in the annual mega HD channel package. But the company decided otherwise. Just spoke to senior tata sky executive Mr. Sunil Kumar who confirmed the same. I am going to complaint about this gross violation of T&C to the consumer forum.

                        I got my Star World Premiere HD free till my Mega South HD subscription ends. I just had sent a mail to [protected]@tatasky.com.You too can drop a mail to tata sky if you are a mega pack subscriber and have subscribed prior to Feb, 2013.
                        I totally agree with vrkhare. When I called up Tata Sky to lodge protest, I was told by the Tata Sky representative that my feedback has been recorded and would be forwarded to the concerned authorities. To me it is a gross violation of T&C which were agreed upon when I opted for the annual subscription. Is someone aware of any government body where I can lodge the complaint ?

                            my ID is [protected]. since one month we informed to re fixed my dish as it uprooted in wind( poor installation).the customer care representative fixed the date several times ,but not send anybody for this.we informed more than 20 times but did not take any action .beside this they cut rs 200, from my account though they did not do their duty.i will be satisfied i[censored] return money with interest in my account now .i will re fixed it from the mechanics of AIR TEL .IF NOT DONE ON 24/09/2013. I WII GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT FOR FURTHER ACTION.

                              Tata Sky — No reception in rains

                              From a brand which is represents india, TATA Sky during this rainfalls was a complete letdown. I believe we all had to face the no signal message whenever the rains we pouring. Well we all wanted to listen to the news and see what was happening around but it there was just a message on the screen from tata sky.

                              I even called up the service center and was told that due to rains it was happening. I know whenever a technology is implemented it takes some time to be fully functional.

                              I believe tata sky will take necessary steps and correct the flaw.

                              Your Engineer visited twice to rectify the complaint but failed to dignose the reason for the problem and promised to visit again on[protected] with necessary equipments. But he did not turn up with solution to the problem.
                              Kindly arrange to rectify the complaint as soon as possible and confirm.

                              IM DISMAYED AT THE tata SKY SIGNAL QUALITY OR SHOULD I SAY THE LACK OF IT IN THE RAINY SEASON. MORE OFTEN THAN NOT THERE IS SIGNAL POOR SIGNAL, OR BETTER STILL -NO SIGNAL. tHERE WERE TALL PROMISESOF BEST SERVICE, ALL SEASON DUARBILITY ETC AT THE TIME OF SALES, AND NOW THERE NEITHER SIGNAL NOR SERVICEMEN AVAILABLE.

                              TO ENSURE THAT THE CUSTOMER IS STUCK WITH THEM THEY GIVE NOREFUND PLANS WITH SUBSCRIPTION OF `ATLEAST 6 MONTHS TO 1 YEAR.
                              in spite of repeated requests tatasky people have failed to provide proper service there digicom pluss it seems is a failure
                              I am a Tata Sky & Tata Sky+ customer since last 3 years. Today is the fourth day that my connection is having no signal problem. In fact the whole building (who are having Tata Sky) are facing the same problem. The company sent a technician yesterday but he did not even inform us anything. He went to the terrace and tried fiddeling around and left without informing any affected subscribers.
                              Tata Sky sms's the mobile no. of technician to the Subscribers. On calling him, he said, his superior will come the next day and do the needful.
                              The company is not at all competent in providing service to the customer. The customer care numbers do not work. The customer care executives cut off the lines purposely. They just do not want to help you. I am writing this, at 1:50 pm on May 3rd, but still no resolution to the problem.
                              Please advise what I can do to resolve this matter quickly. Also, as I hold 2 DTH boxes, I do not want to invest in other company's DTH boxes.

                              There could have been some natural calamity that must have either shifted the direction of the Dish pointing or caused some deviation in the signal reception. The benefit of the situation could demand a bargain as the group demand could reduce the cost of tech visit as the purpose was common, usually for a tech visit Rs.350 is charged there could have been an exception to this case as a single visit could solve joint/a groups demand (all those who have Tata Sky in the building). Since the technician did have a look at the dish and said it required his superior to look into the matter the case may be solved by the tech's superior. It is good to acknowledge the name and number of the technician visiting the place this may provide reference in future. In the DTH industry a good level can be experienced from Tata Sky when you compare your experience with other DTH in the industry. It could be helpful to acquire the number of the tech's supervisor visiting the place so on non arrival he could be contacted or can be reported to the customercare. The matter should be most probably fixed by the tech's supervisor and as a group the society can avail the advantage to pay only for his single visit and not for each and every subscriber.

                              I am getting "No Signal" daily from 0600 Hrs to 2200 Hrs possibly because of improper disc antenna setting or due to consistent rains during last 15 days.
                              I have complained several times ( nearly 20 times on phone and through mail) but the problem still persists, Call centre just register the complaint and forget to send the service engineer to correct the problem.                               There could be possible signal problem and since you have been experiencing consistent rains during last 15 days the dish antenna might require adjustment to receive optimum signals. I recommend you to contact them but also note that technician visit will be charged. The technician can adjust the cable pointing or enable or force range which helps to improves the reception in case it is a signal issue or else identify the exact cause of no signal error. Since the troubleshooting could not be resolved on call I personally think there is a need for technician to visit and look into the matter he will identify the area where the issue lies and will be able to resolve it but at the end its up to you whether you want to pay for the technician.
                              TataSky is not providing the services they are charging for. After lodging several complaints that I am not receiiving signal on most Financial Channels for last two weeks. Nothing is done and worst of all no response except Auto Response. People should check out before they put any money on TataSky for their BAD SERVICE.

                              i have TATA SKY DTH having Cosumer ID no.[protected], in which in last month i have complained for no signal on tata sky that time their service engineer attended and replaced the digicomp which have warranty period of 90days but this month again same problem i have facing. yesterday i have complained for the same and they have closed my compaint without attending the same, now today again complained for the same through customer care no. then there representative giving me assurance that the complaint will be resolved within 24Hrs.
                              So, my request is that how many 24 Hrs. i have to wait for complaint solution.

                                Hi Today I received a worst experience from Tata Sky Customer service. Tata Sky service was stopped suddenly, when I turn ON my TV I got No Signal Message. I checked all the cables. unplugged them and even check the dish on my terrace. That looks fine as well. So I thought I will report the issue to TATA SKY support team/customer support team. I called customer care on 16th of September around 6'o Clock from my registered mobile number. Associate was rude and disconnected the call. So I sent an email on 17th September @ 1:30 AM in the early morning to TATA SKY department explaining the issue. Also I requested refund for the amount which was deducted from my account w/o getting any services. I am not sure, why DTH service people deduct money on daily basis, eventhough customer is not receiving any services from them. This is not fair. It is nothing but stealing money from others. IT IS A SIN. Mu suggestion for them is, When user is complaining about an issue stating he is not receiving services, please stop deducting the amount until the issue gets fixed or services resumed. There is no response/acknowledgement from support team stating there is a complaint registered till 9 A.M. on 17th Sep 2013. So I called customer care and tried to speak normally with associates. I am not sure why TATA SKY associates make customer frustrated w/o any reason. I believe that is how theey get trained before taking calls. PATHETIC Service. Finally, I am able to get to a supervisor called MARK BALLI, who is not provided a satisfactory solution on the call. He raised a WO after I spoke to him. And most interesting part is One of the associate told me that there is no complaints registered on my name or number. Which is Weired. Finally, some one came to my home and did some thing and resolved the issue. Any about the refund for the amount for which I did not get services, I received a call from some one. He spoke to me very rudely. Then he disconnected the call. He told me that the refund will not be possible. SO HOW DARE YOU PEOPLE TAKE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT W/O PROVIDING SERVICES. THIS IS ALL ... WORST CUSOTMER SERVICE. Within 24 hrs, Rs 150 amount is deducted from my account for the service that he provide. I don't understand if there a tecnicical problem from TATA SKY, and if customer is not getting any services for 2 or 3 days.... They will deduct daily rental and adding to that they will deduct money for site visit, which doesn't take more than 5 min to resolve the issue. THIS IS NOT AT ALL ACCEPTABLE. First of all, you need to provide customer service for technician/cable related issues for FREE OF SERVICE. I DON'T know why you are deducting MONTHLY RENTAL if the services are not resumed. NOTE: Starting from 16th till now, I made morethan 10 calls including a supervisor.. no one told me there will be charge for 150 for site visit. If TATA SKY need money, don't steal it from customers. Better you recruit people for Begging in fromt of TEMPLE. As I did not get any intimation on any call, I request you to please refund my 150 RS and also request you to refund money for last 3 days for which I did not get any service what so ever. I called to customer care again and informed the same issue, No one responded, It is almost 24 hrs now. Please update me on the status.

                                    My Subscriber ID: [protected] I have tata sky plus recording box since many years, but lately there has been addition of around 14 malayalam channels. Since that happend i also recieved SMS that they have upgraded technology from MPEG 2 to MPEG 4 for these malayalam channels. Since that day i have not been able to view the recordings of malayalam channels. A blue screen comes when we go to plan and try to view the malayalam recordings and it gets hangs. The complaints made went in vain without resolution. Work order: 1-[protected] (6th Sep 2013) - Service guy came and gave false commitment that this issue will persist til 25th Sep 2013, after calling customer care again found that its not officially true. Work order - 1-[protected] (10th Sep 2013) - No service guy came and without visiting the complaint was closed. Work order- 1-[protected] (12th Sep 2013) - No service guy has come till now dated (17th Sep 2013) Work order - 1-[protected] (13th Sep 2013) - No service guy has come till now dated (17th Sep 2013) Work order - 1-[protected] (13th Sep 2013) - No service guy has come till now dated (17th Sep 2013) and this has been kept on hold (received SMS regarding the same) Note: I am a premium customer as per the customer service team, as i am paying around 750 Rupees per month for these services of Tata SKY, but the service in no angle seems any premium, i have no option to complaint to higher management. Cause there is some much confusion at the entry level to solve basic issues of a Grieving customer.

                                    Tata Sky has rolled out migration of MPEG-2 STB's to MPEG-4 STB's. This upgrade is at no extra cost to the existing customer. You will have to request for the upgrade to MPEG-4 STB for viewing these malayalam channels. You may have to pay warranty charges, which again will help you in case you face any problem with your set top box.
                                    On 19th Sep 2013, i received call from TATA sky saying that the issue solved automatically and it was a back end software compatibility issue of MPEG 2, again Lalit Pawar from Tata Sky or a general customer i guess in last comment saying that i need to upgrade box, this is not solution- this is sales of new boxes and looting customers to take that, again poor downloading of information from Top to Bottom in the company if he is an employee and if a customer then sorry mate you do not have clear information about this issue.

                                    Suggestion: Company needs to give proper download further to CS team and Field Staff for any changes or updates.

                                    Customers suffers due to lack of it.


                                    Issue resolved in my case, but it was a long wait and trust factor a bit decreased due to this incident.

                                      Dear sir/madam, We have taken the tatasky pack with 2 regional channels pack .Suddenly they have stopped all of these channels in the name of mpeg4 upgrade.Even of we complain there is no action .Please take strict action on these matters and do not allow them to do as they like. Thanks Vidya idy Please provide as much information as possible...
                                      Tata Sky has recently added a total of 19 Malayalam channels. As of viewing these channels, you will have to upgrade to MPEG-4 STB. Tata Sky is upgrading the old MPEG-2 set top box for free. You may have to pay warranty charges, which again will help you in case you face any problem with your set top box.
