[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Unable to view services

From last four months we are unable to view are services properly. We have not get the permanent solution from the customer care service of tatasky.We have done more than 5 complaints in last three months , but not recieve the satisfactory result from the tata sky end. For replacing the system they are asking for extra charges.We need appropriate action for relief.

Tata sky have been prompt in delivery especially in matters corresponding to customer care, the technician always arrives almost on time or as per customers request. Interruption in service should be reported to the customer care and they can help you out to fix the matter on call itself if it is within the scope of resolving it on call. As a technical device does require service and maintenance there may not be any permanent solution as such to fix the STB however if there are lot of recurring problems with the same STB there might be a need to replace it, if the replacement is within the warranty period no charges will be applied out of warranty boxes will be charged. Customercare tries to resolve the matter on first call itself in the sense that the customer may not face the similar problem again. You must be out of warranty and hence charges are incurred for replacement of your system but for best result the only option may require replacement of the STB to avoid uninterrupted viewing of service.
It has now been five days since I registered a complaint with Tata Sky customer care. I have talked to four different representatives in the past four days and everyone just gives false assurances that the problem will be taken care of within a day. What is the benefit of opting for the most expensive DTH service provider if the customer service has to be so poor? Have some regard for your customers! You leave me no choice but to search for an alternate DTH service.

When I call up on their helpline numbers, they people just pick up the phone, tell us that they will put our call on hold for a minute and then for more than 15 mintues the call is placed on hold, until we are forced to cut the call. When we try to reach the local technicians, they do not answer our calls. I am totally fed up of such degraded services from a company like Tata. I would think a hundred times before renewing my subscription, which expires in October this year.

I am not able to view services for more than 2 weeks now. Even after logging 4 complaints no one is bothering to fix it.
My Tata Sky Set Top Box is not working for the 4th consecutive day today. When we called up customer care, we were told to talk to senior officials but i could reach to them only after waiting for 45 mins on phone. After 2 Dayz the technician called up but he did not attend the complain. when we tried to reach him he disconnected the phone & switched it off. Today the other technician also did exactly the same. The Mobile no of the technicians are [protected] & [protected] .

Still my complaint continues after 4 days and i do not know when it shall be attended?

This habit of technicians & customer care executives of taking the work very casually is very frequent.

This is maligning the image of TATA and should be strictly monitored and controlled.
