Payment Issue

This is with reference to a shocking handling of online payment by Tata Sky. My ordeal goes like this.

1. On 02-Feb-10 (before due date), self logged into my tata sky account to make a online re-charge directly from my ICICI Bank Account.

2. The transaction started and once the amount got debited from my account, the provider response said " The transaction failed due to unknown reason.

poor customer care service

I AM A TATSKY SUBSCRIBER WITH SUBSCRIBER ID [protected]. WE HAD SUBSCRIBED FOR THE ACTIVE ENGLISH PACKAGE FOR A MONTH JUST FOR TRIAL PURPOSE. I HAVE TO SAY IT WITH GREAT REGRET THAT I AM NOT AT ALL SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED AND AM COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED EVEN BY YOUR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE. Set top boxes provided are OLD and new ones come with MPEG4 technology

I purchased 2 Tatasky connections in Jan 2010 from different dealers in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. I was told that the set top box are the latest available and from the latest stock.
The person who came from Tatasky also did not tell us that now MPEG4 set top boxes are being sold at the same price as the one purchased by us.
On taking up the matter with Tatasky directly they told us that it is a dealer problem and the set top...

Removal of DD Tamil channel

I have paid annual subscription for all channels on Tatasky and was receiving the same. Recently Tata sky have discontinued DD Tamil channel -Podigai, a free channel, without any notice or intimation

No option found to pay through Internet Banking

On website "www.tatasky.com" there is no option to pay renewal subscription through Internet Banking. I went through the instructions given in 'Ways to Recharge' (through by Credit Card), but I could not find any such option to pay through Internet Banking. Then I contacted on helpline[protected], but was not clarified and no proper guidance was received. Tatasky Ltd. has to investigate the matter and make available...

Withdrawal of a Govt DD Podhigai tamil channel

We are extremely sorry to note that the DD Podhigai channel is not available from today onwards without any intimation[13/01/2010]. We are depending on this Govt channel for correct news. Earlier also you have withdrawn this channel for a few days and restored it subsequently. It is regretted that instead of adding a new channel they have withdrawn an important channel that too during our important festival PONGAL which should be restored...

I am new to tata sky .there is no doubt about the service offered by tata sky.I only request u to please add Qtv and peace tv in packeges.Because i am watching these channels from very long time.

non credit of amount

I own a TATA SKY connection with consumer id number [protected] registered in my own name.
I ahd made an online recharge for Rs 600/ on 26 Dec 2009 through the web portal of TATA SKY through net banking in ICICI account[protected] which is also in my name.
The message of a successful transaction was displayed with transaction number from ICICI Bank as MICI [protected].
The amount was debited from my account even.

unavaility of recharge coupon

In my area recharge coupon availability is almost nil. You have recently discontinued the coupon card. I do not use credit card. Please inform me how I could recharge the rental. Also, please do not disconnect my line. I shall recharge at the earliest of its availability.

Tata Poor and fake offer of Polo Watch from Deal4all

Hi ,

I recently renewed my Tata Sky connection which had an offer of a polo watch for 499 / - which says the worth of the actual watch is 3500 /- . This is a pathetic offer and a low standard business model by Tata's which i am surprised , i think the Tata Sky management is highly non professional .

This watch is not even worth 300/- Rs and when it reached me it was without any invoice and was non functional...

Colour distortion

I have two Tata Sky Plus connections (1 in Chennai - [protected] and 1 in Hyderabad [protected]). The Chennai connection has been giving me problems since installation with colours getting distorted. Despite several complaints and visits the problem has not been sorted out. I requested them to change the Digicom box as I suspect it is faulty but this has not been done. Since I do not live in Chennai (my mother does) I am unable to follow this...

TataSky - Slow Recharge through Dealer

Hi,

Today I have topped up Rs 200 through Dealer. Is more than 2 hours gone, but neither I got the confirmation to my Mobile nor in Set Top Box. When I checked with Dealer, they told TataSky Server slow, but when I checked with TataSky Help Desk , they told that Dealer didn't have sufficient balance for customer subscription recharge.

Bengali Channel not available

Hi,

TataSky provides only "Star Ananda" as 24 hours news channel. There is "24 Ghonta" is is also equally popular in West Bengal - Airtel Dish Provides this bengali news channel.

Tata Sky also does not provide "Aat (8)" bengali popular channel, where as Airtel again provides it. If Tata Sky does not includes these popular bengali channel - I am planning to move to Airtel Dish TV...

Tata Sky CBeebies Programs - bluffing

Hi,

I had subsscribed Tata Sky knowing that it broadcast "CeBeeBies" Kids channel. I was in UK for most of the time since my baby was 6 months old. He brought up seeing CeBeeBies Channel in UK. Most popular programs were - "Pip In", "Brum", "Role Moso", "Story Maker", so on. But here in India Tata Sky is bluffing its Customers as they repeat only few of programs.

Mental harrassment

I have never been a tata-sky customer. I have never subscribed to their services. Still i keep on receiving messages from the company (Ta-tatasky or tm-tatasky) about pending payment dues, recharging remenders, etc. On my personal mobile number. I hope this is total violation of one's privacy and results to mental harrassment....
