There is now signals for almost one month for our Tata SKy stattleite television. I sent online queries and called the customer care 5-6 times and every time they are giving a new dates for resolution or Technician visit. I am not able to see any proggrame but my account balance is reduced daily.

Intitially they gave i refference WO no - 1-[protected] and schedled date of[protected].

Tata Sky — NOT REINSTALLING THE SET TOP BOX

I have logged a call in Tata sky helpline for reinstalling the set top box as I have relocated. Call has been registered ( case ID : [protected] ). I have been ensured that reinstall will happen within 24-48 hrs. But 48 hrs crossed, reinstallation has not happened. Even no call came from Tatasky or any engineer. I keep on calling helpline, everytime there is no definite answer for when the reinstallation would happen.

Kindly help me.

Tata Sky — Bitter experience

TATA Sky is prompt at giving new connections but extremely bad at service

I contacted TATA Sky helpline for new connection on 5th Dec, 2010. Made requisite payment (Rs 2844) using credit card and immediately got a subscriber id (Sub ID#[protected]) . Within 2 hrs TATA SKY service engineers came and they completed the installation. I was impressed with their prompt service without realizing that their prompt action was only limited to selling a connection. Within next 24 hrs my TATA sky service got deactivated. On contacting the help line I was told that they had done installation on a subscriber id([protected]) that was different from one on which I had made payment.

Since then I have made more than 50 calls to help line numbers without any fruitful results. In the course of making calls I have wasted my money and time. When I enquired my friends, I heard similar stories. I am writing this to you to alert readers not to fall in trap of false service promises rampant with DTH services of TATA Sky.

Tata Sky — no replacement of setup box

I have a tatasky connection, during installation it was told that any incident pertaining to the connection will be resolved in 48 hours, I had logged a call on 9th of december with their call center & till now they havent fixed my problem.
The engineer did came once & had a look at my setup box, he concluded that the box needs to be replaced & will be doing so as & when the model will be available in their inventory, I had been not watching tv for 4+ days now. TATA SKLY cutsomer care is pathetic, their supervisors are reluctant to have word with their customers & the agents on the floor are RUDE.

Even I want to know how to unsubscribe a channel from online web site. There is a option to upgrade/Add package but no option visible to unscribe a particular channel.

Tata Sky — Tata Sky not transparent in service terms thru their website

I have been a subscriber of Tata Sky for a couple of years now. I had opted for an Optional Pack sometime back using my Account on their website, as I wanted to watch a particular channel for just a month. I was shocked to know that once a subscriber opts for an optional pack/channel, s/he can't withdraw within 90 days - something which was not mentioned while I opted for the channel, but cleverly informed when I wanted to withdraw it a month later. Though I have reported this non-transparent business practice to their Customer Care, as well as written to their Helpdesk, I have no response on this strange practice. Though I ended up paying for the optional package/channel for 3 months instead of the desired 1 month, I have reported this on this website to forewarn Tata Sky subscribers who may not be aware of this practice. I certainly didn't expect this from a business group with a 'Century of Trust' as their motto.

Tata Sky — one new set -box +old box recharge with new one in same house

this is to inform that we want to install tata sky dth service in same house with two set up boxes in discount on second set up box

Tata Sky World Cup Subscription — In appropriate Package

Please in their latest package Tat Sky is charging as lock in period of 90 days.

As a customer if need subscription for 30 days I ahve to compulsorily take 90 days lock in and pay for 90 days.

For example Platinum Sports Package as advertised by Tata Sky @ Rs 65.00 per month.The world cup ends on 2nd April but I cannot get service disconnected for till Mid May'11.

This is not consumer friendly and these service providers are looting Indian Consumers

Tata Sky — installation delay

I am tata sky subscriber and my id is [protected], i was booked my installation details on 21feb 2011 and the customer care representative told me to install your setting with setup box withn 72 hours but there is not any responce in this regard yet.

Tata Sky — Non-deliverance of service, non-fulfillment of commitments

I am extremely horrified at the kind of service being offered to me.

I have been chasing for four days...and I still got no response.

Today I called up in the morning @ 9:45 am from my registered mobile number and I was told that they do not have any complaint registered.

And now, I just called up at 12:26 pm (from registered mobile number [protected]), and very politely I asked to refund my money, and you people have such audacity to tell me...'paisey chahiye toh aake le jaao and..she hung up the phone.' I would request you to look into this...check the call logs.....and let me know if it is an acceptable behavior to talk to customer.

What crime have I done by paying you my money...that I'm being insulted like this.



I had ordered for another add-on connection on 23rd Feb (and had made all the necessary payments using tele-banking services).



Since I wanted to avail the services at the earliest, I was told that the Tata-sky team would try to activate the new connection on the next following day and the maximum time for this was 48 hours.



Since then, I have been chasing your customer-care department and I’m yet to get a satisfactory response.



I also registered the complaint online (on Tata sky website) . In the morning, I spoke to one personnel and she told me that the services would get activated today, and the technical-person would get in touch with me in no time.

However, I am yet to be contacted by anyone from Tata sky.



Since then, I’ve tried your helpline numbers all day and the only thing I hear is that the system is down.



I would like to urge that I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service offered to me and would like to cancel the order. Let me know by when I can get my money refunded back. Also, I wish to terminate my existing connection. Please let me know of the procedure for the same (as the customer care numbers are of no help).
tata sky is worst system & i ever seen n experinced in my life, i tried for several times after crediting money from 15 days we trying connect with costomer care, but we r unable do so such an worst service they to costomers, now we removing it thow it in our society garbage & waiting for other services, dont buy TATA SKY THEY ARE THE WORST.

Tata Sky — no installation done for 05 days

i had booked tata sky servics on 28feb. was told that wil have installation in 48hs.they even took my payment of Rs 99.9/-. have been calling them up regularly. nothing done so far. they are a bunch of cheats / frauds /good for nothin g characters. just waiting to cheat the public.

Tata Sky — new address installation

I raised a request for TATA SKY changed address intalation on 07.03.11, but till date there is no call from techinition from tatasky. My mobile no.[protected], number of times i called to TATA SKY customer care people but those people are telling that i will received call within 2 hours.

Please look into this matter.

Tata Sky — Poor commissioning of antenna

Tatasky took 6 days to relocate my antenna (in the same terrace), now in the new place picture is standstill / get blue screen. After complaint they checked and said there are 3 connector joints. Its their duty to highlight and replace the cable on the first instance, while they found out this issue in the 1st week of march, they have not taken any step to resolve this till date.
