I have subscribed Times of inda newspaper for 1 yesr on 08.03.10. I got the subscrition number also for the same. No - NAD 037424. But till date i have not recieved the paper even for a day. For the same, i have already registeted my comaplaint in chennai office on 21 / 22/ 23.04.10. But there is no response.

Need your immediate action to issue the paper before 27.04.10 to avoid any legal approach in future.

But till now i did not received those coupon.

I am also having the same problem. the vendor supplying the papers are arrogant and do not deliver on time. Now they have stopped giving newspaper. The office phone does not wok nor do they bother. I think The service of Telegraph is better.

Hi! Even I experienced such a problem with The Hindu and Business Line earlier and then decided the best way is to buy from the stand every day, as I do not wish to miss out on reading those papers. But, I wish to share another problem with Times of India and Economic Times, which cost Re 1 each more in Vijayawada and are available only after 11 am every day, but never receive the full compliment of the papers. Today, though the TOI say contains 32 pages, it actually contained 18 pages. It happens most days and my complaints to them fell on deaf ears. Many times the Sunday Times of India does not contain the magazine section and what is the Sunday paper without the magazine section? The Economic Times also does not supply the Investors guide suppliment along with its Monday edition. I tried to file these deficiences on their websites, but they bounced. In fact, I am prepared to pay a Rupee or more for getting a full compliment of the newspapers, but there is no one in the newspaper administration to hear me. Regards, Goutham.

We are a Resident Welfare Organisation of Haryana Excise & Taxation Dept. situated in sector 43, Gurgaon, Haryana. The current newspaper vendor has literally monopolised the entire area. All the residents are unhappy with his rudeness and services. now he has voulantrily decided to stop delievering newspaper to us just because we refused to pay him for the papers not delievered. now he will not let any other vendor to drop paper at our society of 3 blocks comprising 107 apartments.We once tried to replace him but he threatened the other vendor with dire consequences.Kindly look into the matter & give distributorship (not to goons) to hard working individuals who want to earn money in the right way. The news papers purchased by us are TOI, HT, BL, ET, Dainik bhaskar/jagran, & plenty of magazines. Hope this will be taken up on a serious note

I would like to know if anybody has been alloted any plots so far? Few months back they gave an offer to allot a plot early in case the investor pays the full amount. I would like to know if anybody has been alloted a plot?

It is more than 2 and half year when I gave them Rs. 22314 for Ajmer project. But after one year they told me that they have closed the Ajmer project and I can either invest my money on another project or get back the money. I refused to invest my money and asked them to refund the money but it is about two years have past they have no reply and not refunding the money. They are great cheater. They may be punished.

I have done the full payment in March, 2009 and they asked me to go to Jaipur for Land Registry. I went to Jaipur and I got the Land Registry, however, didn't get a chance to see the actual site. The Registry also mentioned 92, 000 as Land price whereas I paid 3 Lakhs. I don't know now if Registry is fake or if that land is desputed or what the future.

I was given 7 post dated cheques for my deposit against Haridwar plot. Out of which three have been honoured by exchanging dd by the company. Now two cheques are due, should i present them to the bank or wait as the company men are saying that their bank accounts have been freezed by EOW Delhi Police ?

It looks it was preplanned and meditated effort on their part for hoodwinking people like us. had been to their office twice and both time they were able to persuade me to wait and things would be better.
but now it looks legal option is the only option
What is the present status of the case does any one know

I do not know about other projects, but I have invested in VIAN Royal Estates (Near Jhevar, off Greater Noida), and the company had promised handover within three years period.

I have made about 80% payments, and have no plans to stop further payments. The three years period expires in October 2010. Till that time, keepng my fingers crossed.

Vian Infrastructure — fraud -land purchasing

I have taken plot in haridwar in 2006 and because of no develoment he has promosid to return money. they have given few cheques 2-3 times. Every time cheque bounced except 1-2 cheques.

No they are not behaving properly and responding badly to return money.

I had been alloted 120syd plot in Neemrana Vian City Project. I have paid Rs 167000/- to this company . But, As i have come to know this Builder has no land . so i would request to more allottee to make a group for suit a file against Vian Group.

I have deposit a money of Rs. 2 Lac on dated 15/03/07 through cheque to the company, for a allotment of plot at Haridwar (Utranchal).

After that, we don’t have to know about our location or no. of Plot where it is.

So we will agree to file suit against MD and other responsible people, to they are cheated like this to all o[censored]s. ROC should also take the necessary action for they cheated with the name of LTD. name to others.

People are believed that, if the company is LTD concerned, then must have some norms etc.

I have been cheated too for Rs. 4 lakh for booking of two plots of 120 sq. yards and 200 sq. yards in Neemrana Project of Vian Infrastructure Ltd. Now i try to call them and none of their phones are active. So am not sure how to pursue. If somebody is taking legal option all o[censored]s should join hands and take action against these Frauds with whom our hard earned money has been lost. I gave my first cheques on 21.11.2006 so since then nothing is coming up and they have already take 50% of two plots - Rs. 4 Lakh from me.

Hi everybody,

I am sympathetic to all the persons victimised by the fraudulent 'Vian'. I think I am one of the few lucky men to draw the full refund at the right time. My booking was for Indore project and I paid half of the total amount which stands nearly 2 lakhs. Since my office situates near their then office at Ashoka Building, Barakhamba Road, I could regularly stick to them for refund. And after getting the cheques dishonoured (bounced) twice and issued fresh cheque again, I finally got my entire money back.

However, my suggestion to all the victims is don't leave hope, move jointly, visit their present office at Jhandewalan regularly, annoy them, demand your money rigorously.

Dear investors, I have also invested in one of the project of real estate company vian infrastructure and the company owes me 1 lakh rupees for a property has not even started constructing till now.I went into the matter a lot of times and consulted a various lawyers but no one can guarantee money back. So the basic fact is that until and unless the chairman of the company surya thapar comes out, there is no possibility that we will get our money back.So lets hope that he comes out of the jail soon as he is the one who is responsible for all this.Even if he gets punishment and stays in the jail for the longest time there is no chance of getting the money back. the court will keep giving dates and keep accusing him but no one will be able to return our money except for surya thapar.

My dear friend as soon Surya Thapar comes out he will immediately moved to UK and at office you will find big lock.Hoping that he should not come out of tihar without paying every investor's money.

i think its not possible for some one to leave the country like this, because in a case like this the victim is not given his passport back.Well I just want my money back..whether surya thapar comes out or not. but the possiblity of getting it back is more in a situation if the owner of the company is not behind the bars.
Its been some months since he is jail and the hopes are getting less and less for me. how can he pay our money back if he is himself in jail.If he comes out there is some hope thht we might get our money back.

I guess you have the proof of payment. don't hesitate to file in consumer court.
It is sad that TOI CC is this irresponsible.Not good for them especially as they are competing in the stronghold of THE HINDU-Chennai.

I also subscribed along with my neighbor for this 299 offer. my neighbor started getting this after 5 days of payment but I did not. I called the cust care and they informed they are looking in to it.

In my case I was subscribed to the hindu.in between the hindu reduced price, but my vendor continue to buy the same amout.i questioned and then he told it is delivery charges. no delivery charges he is supposed to take from me. I just stopped the subscription in fury. now it is the same vendor who is supposed to deliver TOI...that might be the reason he is delaying/denying.

This is nothing new. This is an old game they play. Kolkata edition on Sunday includes Calcutta Times and Times Life supplements and costs Rs 4.50, whereas a Rest of West Bengal (they call *Kolkata edition) edition does not include any supplement ( much lesser pages) and costs Rs 5.00

Times Of India — Renewal of Subsicription

Hello,

I am a regular subscriber of ROI, Mumbai Mirror and ET for last 3 years.
On Oct 8, 2009, your representative came to collect the cheque for annual renewal subscription. He did not collect the check since he was not sure of not renewing, "The Economic Times" individually..
On October 12, 2009, he called and said he can do the renewal for TOI and Mumbai Mirror and will come to collect the check, but till date, he has not come to collect the check.
I am due for renewal from November 1st, 2009. I am calling on[protected] and[protected], they are telling me the scheme is over. If the scheme is over then how come the representative is collecting checks from all my neighbours.

This is Dilip Apte, the one deprived of ToI subscription from 1st March 2011. Inquired with 3 vendors for renewal. All want a surcharge of Rs. 150 to Rs. 200, above the cheque amount of Rs. 998. The reason, ToI does not give them anything and thus why should they encourage ToI subscription. Perhaps other leading newspapers playing a part to downsize ToI.

the month of March 2014 and received a call from your office for
the same and was assured to collect the cheque from my residence nobody turned
up, after reminding my vendor I got another call from your office and was
assured to get the payment collected, this time again nobody turned up and to
my surprise the vendor produced a bill for the month of March 2014, after lot
of arguments I had No choice but to pay the said bill as according to him the
collection was done by the representative of the company,

Your Local representative doesn't even bother to respond to
the calls and even hangs up without any justification. Please let me know if
you are not interested in renewing my subscription and why should I be penalized
for the miscommunication or the negligence from your staff or the vendor.

I am sure you will look into the matter at your earliest,
and help me to not to escalate the matter further.

The coupons might be directly delivered to ur vendor, thats wat happened with me. but the newspaper was hindustan times.
