From past one week i am facing problem with my vodafone prepaid connection.When ever i call to some one or some calls me the call will be disconnected with in 30 or 90 seconds making to loose my balance amount soon. Now-a-days the network has become too worst. The call get disconnected by breaking the voice but still the dailed number continues to be connected making the amount to be deducted according to the time it continues to disconnect the dialed number.
Not only me, even my roommates ates are facing the same probelm. I am staying in Cambridge bridge layout. My mobile number is [protected]. Plz take some action on this comments.

    Hello Vodafone,

    I dont have the complaint number with me as Mr Lakshman refused to provide me with any.

    This is regarding my recent mistake which I committed by subscribing to Vodafone. My Vodafone number is +91 9986... .
    The Problem started after I subscribed to Vodafone services, I got an SMS from Vodafone that some old balance of old Hutch number is still pending. Even after showing my previous bill to the Vodafone store at BTM I was asked to pay the amount.
    I paid the amount on that day itself, but still my connection was barred.
    Then I went to same store again and showed them the receipt of the payment.
    My number was released. I requested the people there at the store that since I am going out of station for 15 Days my incoming nor Outgoing call should not be barred.
    Today I realized that my incoming calls are barred, but the outgoing is working.
    I called up Customer care on +91 ... spoke with Lashman. He asked me to do SIM update, which I did before calling Customer care, but he insisted me that I should do it. After making him understand SIM Update is complete, He was so arrogant while speaking and he put me on hold for 19.35 Minutes and later disconnected the call.
    I want to know why my Incoming calls are being barred.
    I clearly informed Lakshman that I will not be paying for this Outgoing call to Customer care as it is a problem from Vodafone, instead I will be claiming them for the loss I suffered due to lack of incoming call facility.
    I am marking the Email to all your custmer care centres all over India including Nodal Officer
    Vodafone should stop claiming HAPPY TO HELP Slogan
    Instead it is Pathetic to Help.

      I am resident of jalandhar town and I am getting disturbed from a particular vodafone number - [protected] They are using slangs like RANDI, ###, etc. but does it happen in a nation like India ??? I am ashamed of my countrymen. India will never progress in good terms. anyways please note down this number and if I get further calls from here I'll visit police station.

      Vodafone — Unknown Call & Disturbance

      I am getting a No of Phone calls at my no from an unknown no[protected] even late at night and all thru the day.
      Kindly suggest how to take action against the same.
      Dear Vodafone service provider, I am getting message and phone call from unknown number, even he/she is sending good message, I don't want... without knowing that person. Even I tried several times, but he/she is not picking the call. I scolded and send scolding message, even I am getting message from that particular Number.         Hi,

        I called up the vodafone customer care on behalf of my mother (Mob no:[protected]) to clarify why the line was disconnected. The answer that I got varies from agent to agent. Suraj from customer care picked up the call and his reply was I need to provide a local reference signature and contact number which I completely understand however he says the contact number has to be a bsnl number. when asked If I could speak to any supervisor on the floor he puts the line on hold for quite sometime and then disconnects it. When I called for the second time it was phonit who picked up the call and his reply was that the documents haven't reached .When I transferred the call to one of the member of the local vodafone store he apologises and says I am sorry I will check and let you know. When asked for his supervisor he pits the call on hold for close to 5 minutes and then his supervisor comes and disconnects the call.

        Guys working there are not sure about what to say they go on telling whatever comes into their mind and when cross questioned says sorry for n number of times.

        My mother has again submitted the documents however my only question is that is this the kind of quality service that we should expect from vodafone customer care.

        I know your calls are recorded for quality purpose please can you listen to those calls which were made around 6:30 pm to 8 pm on thursday(11/12/2008).
        I expect that vodafone being a reputed company would definitely look into this or else we will have listen to whatever these kind of guys from customer care would tell. who are not sure about what they are telling. I have completely lost any kind of trust on the custome care now. its really painful for me to think that vodafone works this way.
        Please can someone look into this.

          I've been recieving unecessary calls from vodafone and its really disturbing me. There is also no costumer care operator to talk to about our problems. only a recorded voice is available. Please look into the matter. And I also don't want any caller tune offer in my number([protected]) because I'm not interested in all those stuff. I would be thankful i[censored] take care of this matter.

          hi,

          i have asked one query in nov 2008. but till now i didn't recieve any responce. is vodafone operating costumer care or not..

          my query was.. when i was in bangalore, i had been used vodafone postpaid. now i am no more in bangalore or karnataka. at the time of leaving, i think my out standing amount would be around 700 RS.

          can i pay this amount in any one of vodafone store? is it possible...

          Mr. Chandrashekhar, my complaint is also of similar fashion.Karnataka vodafone has the biggest losers from the planet as their employees.I left karnataka on discussing with the so called customer care employees if i could disconnect my phone service from Mumbai, where i was getting transferred to.which they readily agreed to ..After coming to bbay, I asked them to discoonect my phnoe service, which they as usual didnt, after 2 months i get slapped with a bill of some humongous taxes + charges, which they happily didnt disconnect and now asking to pay ..they take 2 months to send me a bill and expect me to pay in 2 days!! this is absolutely ridiculous!!!
          On top of this now there is a Mr. LOKESH MAHALINGAPPA, from the legal dept.You must hear the language he uses I think i must file a criminal case against that man!!
          He calls and absuses, even if you wish to pay you wouldnt do that cos of this man!
          Now he has started calling up people from my itemsied bill and harassing them..I think its getting very personal..and I m trying hard to locate a senior member in the organisation.
          ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

          hello this is Mansoor Ahmed from moodbidri manglore... i am very sorry 2 say i had a very bad experince with vodafone pre paid number...

          Vodafone had cum up with a new plan called all local calls at 50paise/ min for which i had to recharge with 77 rupess and vodafone pupil had promised me to get this offer activated on my num within 24hr from the time i recharged(recharge was done on[protected] but after i recharged i found that offer was not activated in 24 hrs. I made my first complaint after 25 hrs that my new tarrif which i preffered was not activated. they told me to wait for next 24hrs.. but since i live in a country like india where we have to compromise on everything. i waited for 24 more hours. but still no action was taken.. i have now been fed up calling the vodafone customer care from past 3days and today while i called them again a customer care representitive named "IBRAHIM" almost started scolding at me and now i dont know where to go and whom to ask about this.. now i condem vodafone customer care who doest have even a basic call sense to respond and work ...i also had such an experience i past... i hope atleast this time the complain will be taken and necessary action would be taken at the earliest...

            Dear Sir / Madam,

            I have taken new vodafone connection [protected] for my mom for mainly ISD purpose from chembur vodafone store on 6th december 2008. The vodafone executive Miss Ashwini Ghag has provided all the prompt service required & also confirmed me that the ISD service will get activated immediately. But till today the ISD service not got activated. I am calling 5 times a day to vodafone customer care on 111 from last 4 days for the same. The customer care executive keeps the call n hold for more than 5 mins everytime but no [censored]ion given till today.
            I am facing lot of problems due to same my health is getting affected.
            All the required verification is done by the company.
            ISD is still not got activated the customer executives are saying it will take more than 20 days after a payment of first bill. How come Ashwini Ghag has communicated that he ISD will get activated immediately???

              I was a user of the Karnatake Vodafone number [protected]. I relocated and wrote to Vodafone for disconnecting my number. I paid the bill less by 300 rupees because i paid this same refundable amount while taking the new connection.
              I mailed the customer relations manager giving him all the required details and also asking him to adjust the refundable 300 rupees against my outstanding amount and let me know if any amount is due which i shall pay duly before throwing away the sim.
              All was settled and I received a confirmation on the same from Vodafone following which i threw the sim away.
              Recently, I have been receiving mails again from Vodafone karnataka customer care officer who says an amount of Rs. 1276 is due on my no. and he also served me some legal notice via my mail.
              I would take this as a mental harrassment. Due to miss-coordination among his system and officers why should i suffer his threats.
              Everytime there is some goo[censored]p with these vodafone people because of which we suffer. This is not happening the first. My last two connections also had some technical prblem.

                  This is a very urgent requirement for details of a vodafone number.The Number Details is [protected].A person from this number is giving a msg and miss calls to my sister mobile number and harrashing her.When I called in that number the person or owner of that particular mobile is saying abusive words.I need immediately the details of the particular person who is owning the above number to take necessary steps against that particular person.
                  I feel that this is blatantly unethical and unfair trade practice on your part to activate my mobile with unwanted local free SMS Scheme without my consent.I had talks with your customer care executives several times and despite of his assurenenses the practice is still on.what should i do? Should I disconnect my mobile or Should I go to The Cosumer Forum ?

                    On 3rd Dec, 08 I was approached by 2 executives from Global Direct, Jayanagar, Bangalore offering a Vodafone Postpaid connection. The executives name was Bhanu Priya - Tel: [protected] and [protected]. The payment was made by cheque raised towards Global Direct for an amount of Rs. 399 of whicg Rs.99 was non refundable. The executive mentioned that after due verification the Sim would get activated by 8th Dec but it seems her words were of a trained cheat. I did get calls from a person named Stella mentioning that she was from the Verification dept. and the verification would be completed on 6th Dec and also gave me a list of tel numbers to choose from as my new cell number. However no one did come to my residential nor office address for the same. All relevant documents were submitted as proof of my place of address and identity.

                    It seems a similar complaint was given months ago regarding such a company in this forum-140 days ago.

                    Please as a word of caution for anyone and everyone - Please be aware of this company as a fake.

                    myself aneesha a customer of vodafone postpaid connection .. my number is [protected]... actually sir i need an information regarding my sim... actually my sim is in the name of one of my friend and he has provided me the sim... recently the sim has got broken by me.. and he is going to take duplicate sim itseem but i dont want him to take that sim as the sim previously it was with me and all my relatives and frnds knows that number ... and probably he can misuse my number as well... so can i get one suggestion regarding blocking the sim permantely and taking up a new connection and sim ... i just dont want you people to provide him the duplicate sim which is in his name but i was the user because we are not in the good term now so please can i get information regarding above issue... thank you...
                    Please remove this complaint from the forum as the issue has been resolved. The names of the executives/company mentioned in the complaint have rectified the issue that was raised back in December.

                    I dont agree with this complaint. When you purchase something you should see everything about the product, pros and cons. After the sale happened complaining about the product shows how irresponsible individual...

                        Hi,

                        This is Kulin Shah. I am based out of Mumbai. My previous employer had a corporate account with Vodafone (Mumbai circle) and the bills were paid by the company. After I left previous employer and shifted to a new work place, I got the number shifted from Corporate account to an Individual corporate postpaid no. After paying the first, bill post shifting of plans, my no was disconnected on 2nd September. I inquired as to why my no was disconnected they had received the request over the phone. I asked them to share the same and they refused to do the same. I asked them how they could disconnect the no without receiving anything in writing without it having my signature on the same. As an e.g. I quoted that whether he would disconnect our Chief minister's no if I called on his behalf. He confirms that he would do the same.

                        In order to understand the disconnection procedure I was confirmed by another customer support executive that they need a witten confirmation of the same and only then can they diconnect and even after receiving the letter they would make a call to the user to understand the reason for disconnection. On visiting the Vodafone showroom the executive said that they were not sure as to why my no was disconnected and confirmed that they had not received any written letter from me and also they had not made any confirmation calls.

                        After 3 months in the end of November Vodafone collection team calls up and says my no is disconnected for non payment of bill. They bill amount is approx Rs. 3200 (incl of taxes). They have charged me Rs.1999 for GPRS pack, which I have not requested for, they have charged me for voice mail, which I again have not requested for and have also charged me for detailed billing feature which I was told was free of cost because I was a corporate customer. The team says I can arbitarily deduct Rs.1000 and pay the rest and they will oblige me by reactivating the connection i had never asked to disconnect. On asking to give me a explanation of this deduction and putting the same on a letter / email they refused to do so and said they would ask the legal to get in touch with me.

                        I pray to you and help me resolve this case and get me justice

                          Lost my patience related to my callertune activated without my knowledge and debiting my money from account,
                          False confirmation from callcenter that I activated callertune and they have a proof...
                          I dont know tamil and not from tamilnadu how come I will activate my callertune .
                          complaint escalated to NODAl officer Sunitha (sunitha.[protected]@vodafone.com) and Appellate Officer Thompson(thompson.[protected]@vodafone.com)...nothing is working ..The answer from this people is they will deactivate the caller tune but will not refund my money back iam fighting for the way treat customers...

                          Vodafone Essar — activation of caller tune

                          I am a prepaid customer of vodafone([protected]). This company seems to fool people by activating services automatically.They are deducting money from my mobile and claims that i have activated their caller tune services. I am middle class man and I do not purchase recharge coupen of more than Rs. 50 , sometimes I recharge it with only Rs.10 (chota recharge) .
                          I can say that they might have deducted money from several customers to compensate company losses.
                          I am not going to keep quiet if they dont reverse my mon

                              I am Ashok Kumar D R. Last five months back I have taken vodafone postpaid connection with ECS option i.e., 7th of every month. I have received the sms on my mobile that ECS presented on 04/12/2008 instead of 07/12/2008, which incurred me Rs.225/- t/w cheque return charged debited by the bank.

                              More surprisingly, so far I have not received the bill or any message and well in advance presented the ECS to the bank.

                              I have referred 7 people, who has already been taken new connection and bonus of Rs.700 (Rs.100/- per new connection) it will adj. to my bill amount. But, this is also not implemented.

                              Now, my referred 7 people also decided to withdraw your vodafone facility of the false assurances and wrong presentation ECS. Atleast, now please wake up and attend the customer service.

                                Hi,
                                The Company Gives the itemised bill showing that it have the Call Information.
                                My Mobile was Stolen and was Continuously used. The Service Provider couldnot Provide the Last Call Details on Customer Care. If that was Available the Phone could have been Traced and would have got the Stolen Phone back.
                                Company has Call Details but Doesnot Share and thus don' t Help in Searching of Lost Mobile Phone.

                                    My postpaid number is [protected], I took a new connection last week. I already have a Vodafone postpaid connection. All outgoing from this number is barred today. When I checked with the customer care, I was told that the address verification was negative. I stay in the same address for the last 25 years. I already have a connection in this address for the last 4 years on which Vodafone is sending bills and taking payments.
                                    None of the Vodafone personnel visited my address so far. Someone called and asked for address thrice and said everything was fine and today they barred the outgoing. The customer care is absolute useless and they talk nonsense. I could not reach to any responsible person from Vodafone.
                                    Earlier this week, they had barred all outgoing on my old connection. They asked me to go Vodafone office to sort this out. When i went there, I was surprised to see that they themselves have changed my address and claimed that my address was fake (remember they were sending bills and collecting payments for the last 4 years). I do not know how could someone do this. they dont have answers and no regrets. It is the worst customer care i hve ever seen.

                                    How can I get the vodafone Sr.Manager's Number? There is no point talking to their customer care.

                                    I am not able to call, though I have submitted all the requied documents to the retailer M/s Patel in Ghandhidham on[protected].
                                    If my documents has not reached to the designated table, I think it not my fault. I should not suffer for my no mistake.Due to the non availability of out going calls, I ma in enourmous lossess and damages. I had discussed with the customer care but they could not solve my problem.help please.

                                      My call is not transffering to your customer care executives since one month . Many times I have registered the complaint at your mini store at CP metro station but no response I have gotten.
                                      I wanted to disconnect my postpaid number for that i have submitted written application at vodafone centre, Vashi the person's name was Prasad. He told me that i will get confirmation call within 3 days after that i have received confirmation call from vodafone and that lady said they will disconnect my number within 72 hours. The number was not disconnected within 72 hours so i called up in the customer care service 3-4 times but nobody has responded positively finally i called up again after holding me for 15 min person has disconnected phone again i called up i talked wid Public relation officer Sayel he has transfeered mycall to some senior executive named subodh or subash dont remember exactly and he was so rudely talking wid me!! this is very disgusting!! this is the way vadafone executives handle the customer !! then i went to vodafone vashi centre again and inquire about my application then they replied sorry the letter was with them only !!! so.. my point is that it was their mistake that they have not updated in their system then also they are rude to us then what is the meaning o[censored]sing such services!! it was so bad experience with customer care ever in my life!!

                                      i have 3 vodafone numbers on my name. ONe is used by my Dad. We had payed all the 3 bills before time and have the receipt as well. But i have been receiving call from call centre of vodafone saying " one bill has not been paid " and we will deactivate the service, which they did. Inspite of me telling them its been done, i have the receipt, i provided them the receipt details as well... but what so ever i had to do this 4 times, to different people calling from call centre..                                       This is Punit Sharma writing from Ludhiana [Punjab], regarding the customer care people behaviour of Vodafone mobile services. Actually, I wanted to cancel my life-time validity which I got activated in December 08 because I noted that my local call- rates had been increased on activation of this service. Also, there was nothing like life-time validity means if someone doesn’t use the phone /SIM for two or more months, the life-time validity gets deactivated automatically. When I talked to customer care regarding the same I got nothing but the crude and lunatic response. The behaviour of customer-care people was very contradictory to the normal behaviour. Concisely and precisely, Vodaphone is making fool of the people of India and playing with their money and time. I think time has come when government of India should take seroius actions against the Vodafone!!!

                                      Called up customer care mumbai.

                                      Mr Gufran Attended the call. i provided him all the detials for security reasons.

                                      He could only ask me to call them back from any other phone. and this took almost 12 mins 9 sec. the irritating part of the call is he need to keep me on hold for every question i asked.

                                      i did what was advised to me Doing so they needed all the details to be given again.

                                      not doing so Vodafone Customer care representative disconnected my call on his superiors advise.

                                      Please do the needful Customer care are charging us for the help call. and no single person is qualified to

                                      vodafone has the pathetic costumer care service. they have this so called 198 number to call and make complaints, but people responding to the call are arrogant and shout back at us. initially they had costumer feedback on they call. but it is unfortunate, when ever you compliant you are not activated to the service of giving feedback.

                                      1.they need you to deposit an amount before getting an connection. based on which they decide your credit limit. in case you want to increase, they ask for your salary slip.
                                      2.you never receive the phone bill on time. you always get it after the billing date, hence u will be asked to pay fine.
                                      3.even after u register for do not disturb service, you keep receiving caller-tune calls.
                                      4.even after you send series of complaints and mails, they respond back only by call, but never act on the incident.
                                      5.there is no coordination between the mail and phone complaints they receive.
                                      6.to get out of the service, i[censored] opt for the mobile number portability, they start answering to all the complaints. still i[censored] insist on changing to someother network, they will ask u to pay extra 1000 to take the number to someother network.

                                      i am fedup going to vodafone office again and again and writing endless mails. to mention in particular, it all happens only in Vishakapatinam vodafone service centre.

                                      I had very bad experience with vodafone custome care, i called them 15-20 times and still they are not able to answer/resolve my problem.
                                      Worst part is there representative (Asif,Iqbal.Ismail...) , they hung/cut my calls many times which is really bad, disgusting, and painful. And they given words many times to call back but they didn't call back.
                                      They them-self deactivated my caller tune and put there default one and charged money for that also.
                                      I am really pissed of from there service, in last 2 months there were 4-5 complaints against them from my side.
                                      I just want someone to take action and resolve my problem soon.

                                      I am using vodafone postpaid connection.
                                      I want to activate my outgoing calls (International). They are barred right now.Probbaly I need a password from them
                                      I have called vodafone customer care center at least 10 times but haven't got any help.

                                      When I wanted to escalate my request after getting irritated, I called 111 to ask my complaint number and executive disconnected my call.

                                      I managed to get my complaint number in next call :[protected]

                                      My number is[protected].

                                      Now If I dial 111, my calls get diverted to the main menu and I never get to speak to any executive. I think they have barred my numbers.

                                      I will change my service provider as soon as possible.

                                      But I want vodafone to account for the inconvenience it has caused me

                                      I am unable to make a call with my vodafone number [protected] and whenever I try to make a call message comes that this number is barred. A number of complaints have been lodged with vodafone touch point NIRSHA, DHANBAD and also on number 111, even frequent personal visits have been paid to above mentioned service centre during the last 10 days however, the mobile number has not yet been recitified, they always give assurance that it will be recitified soon. Lot of our energy, time and money has been wasted in lodging complaints and paying frequent visits to service centre now we are obliged to write to you with hope that our problem will be heard and solved.

                                      'm a vodafone customer and today i was call in customer care but company executive use abusive words to me,, so take strict action on him and his name is 'izaan patel" or like that..
                                      I hd taken a Vodafone number three months ago. This is a postpaid connection for which I had submitted all relevant documents then itself. I have also been paying all my monthly bills well within the deadlines. However, without any kind of intimation, today, Vodafone has suspended my services. When I call customer care, they cite "documents not submitted" as a reason for suspending the services.

                                      1) I have already submitted all my documents and my number has been active for over 90 days.
                                      2) Vodafone did not intimate through e-mail, SMS or phone about this issue, but just directly suspended the line at their whim and fancy.

                                      What action can be taken against this?
                                      many times vodafone will not update records which v submit in ther computer and miss it. so u will be called for and required to produce those again until they correctly update.
