I had a mobile nbr [protected] with vodafone for last 3 years.I had bought a blackberry handset from them & used BB services for over a year.Later on i got BB services deactivated as my new employer gave me company owned BB handset.After some time i checked with vodafone about how to connect to ineternet using my vodafone mobile connection.Their andher (east) store staff told me to get BB servicsd activated on my handset for accessing internet through my mobile.I got it done & later on when i could not connect to internet using my PC & mobile I called up their call centre.They told me that i will not require BB services for this but i will require mobile connect(some internet usage option of vodafone) which i did but even after that i was nto able to connect to internet so i got this too deactivated.To my surprise vodafone started billing me for BB services.When i raised this with them they told me that their systems show i have used BB services.I still paid Rs.400 assuming that may be when i was trying to connect i may have incurred these charges.but they kept on chargin me for BB services month on month.Afters ending multiple mails & esclataions they agreed that there's some mistake at tehir end & tehy would reverse these charges.I also told them that in past too i have faced similar problem with them & even after assurance of reversal their collections executives harrass by visiting home address & calling.They told me it won't happen but still i got calls from their office for payment.i complained again & they told me it won't happen again but 3rd time i again got call from they

they don't have any control on their process, people & are extremeny customer unfriendly.I am sharing this so that people stay away from vodafone .they claim we care for you but all they care about is harassing people.

dear sir,
On 07 Jan 09 at about 1620 hrs i received a call from vodafone number [protected](mr Mohan seems to be fake name) stating promotional offer of zero rental plan on my mobile number [protected]. that day i asked him to give me a call on next day ie. 08 Jan 09 and about 1000 hrs his rep. Mr Dinesh sharma having a vodafone identity card with him, had come to my office address and collected sum of Rs 1200 for zero rental plan for 02 mobile numbers the other mobile number is [protected]. Then at about 1540 h on 09 jan 09 i visited vodafone store at fort mumbai in this connection. however, i find no change in my tariff plan. from vodafone store i made a call to mobile no [protected] and he said sir, your plan will be activated in three hours, then i told him that i am sitting the vodafone store only and there is not existing such plan, and the same time he disconnected. since then i am continuing trying that vodafone no [protected] and he is not responding. waiting for a early and postitve action at your end.

My number is in corporate scheme of Vodafone, I had activated Blackberry on my Mobile with the help of Customer Care.

I was told about a plan of Rs. 499..wherein I will get 500 MB free for the usage, I had crossed checked twice to confirm that its 500 MB and not 500KB. Now I am being told that the plan offer 500Kb as free services.

To my surprise I received an SMS intimation of Rs. 10000 of the Usage on 12th July, as the bill was not generated (Bill Cycle followed is 18th-17th) I was told to check back on 18th July.

However in span of last 6 days Bill has gone up by Rs. 5000/- now my current Bill amt is Rs. 15158/-

In the duration of last one month from 18th June to 12th July I did not get any intimation from Vodafone on usage of Blackberry.

It is very surprising that Plan of 1099 offers unlimited usage, wherein plan of 499 is now costing me Rs. 15K.

I have already approached Vodafone Gallery at Lower Parel yesterday but was of no help.

Only option I can see forward is to discontinue with the services which ideally should be my last option.

Looking forward for an earliest support from your end.

I have a similar complaint.On 22 Jan 2010 i received a call from vodafone number [protected] / [protected] (Mr Rohit seems to be fake name) stating promotional offer of zero rental plan on my mobile number. I asked him to give me a call on 25th Jan 10 and his representative. Mr Rakesh (mobile no.[protected]) having a vodafone identity card with him, had come to my office address and collected sum of Rs 1200 for zero rental plan for 2 mobile numbers. He promised that the plan will be activated in three hours. After 6 hrs I tried calling both the mobile nos. but the mobile nos. did not exist then i enquired at vodafone store and they told there is no such plan. I tried lodging complaint at Vodafone gallery but they refused to help in any way. Kindly help

they said that ur sim will be activated within 48 hours.then i got call from customer care that sir please go to vodafone store then ur complaint will be solved.after that again i went to vodafone store in somajiguda MR.ALOK HElPER said that sir ur sim will be activated within 24 hours.then he said that you visit to vodafone store in abids. i have submitted the vodafone prepaid form and i have given the requried document which is needed.but still they didn't sent the request to the company. if they can't solve the problem then what is the use of doing service in the mobile company.they just only new how to fool the customer and collect money from them.is this away to behave with the customers.the company manager mr.ajis khan in somajiguda vodafone store doesnt knew how to behave with the customers.he says that we didn't sit here to give change to customer.is he is giving money from his pocket or what.who made him the manager i didn't new.

    i have changed my pre paid number to post paid..i wanted to know full details of scheme currently activated on my number.I want information of my previous balance that i had in pre paid number...i ws supposed to get it credited to my posta paid account...

      I had a vodafone number for 4years under family plan..when i decided to move out of the plan, Vodafone had strictly instructed the other users to clear their outstanding(which they never did) inorder to change them to individual plan...after couple of months I kept recieving huge outstanding on my number. When contacted Vodafone they claim that there was previous outstanding in the family plan.

      I inquired with the Appelate authority and Nodal officer for the same. They claimed it was their mistake as outstanding was not recovered from other user and the transfer into individual account was done with the managers approval.

      When informed that this liability is not on me as it was their mistake. they disconnected my number and refused to pass reversals.

      Their store manager- Churchgate (OPHER), Area Manger-Churchgate (Aarti) are so pathetic and so unapprochable they do not keep a follow up...they do not call you back. no updation on the case.

      On the website if you are not satisfied with the nodal officers desk you can apply to the Appelate officers desk. But the true fact is they are operated by the same executives. There is no higher level.

      Vodafone has a sick and disgusting service.

      The service desk should be thrown out or changed...If the managers in Vodafone are crap i can imagine the executive level.

      really a and bugging customer service..the way they speak is awkwrd and they speak as if we are cse and they are customers lodging complaint against us...they donot have that bloody shame even the female cse...one of the cse bhanu whom i spoke with on 26th at 12:20 mid day...her answres when i asked her name was like...am bhanu...go do whatevr u want[they way she gave her name was lyk dis], , , , , and she was being damn rude...if these ppl cant train them or after traing this is the case kick their ...

      Recently Vodafone announces Free 3G usage for limited period.....I have newly bought a 3G Mobile so i want to try 3G so i activated it.....then i recharged my No with pocket internet Booster...Browsing was very Fast... ....once i c the balance it was -180 rupees(Negative Balance).....before my balance was around 25 rupees..I contacted customer care they said tat i have used more than my Download limit.But i have not exceed the limit and they are not telling my Browsed data limit..... I contacted 4 times but they are not providing proper reasons .....When we are calling if there is no balance the call will be disconnected but in browsing they are not doing like tat...they are taking our balance like anything.....So Guys Be careful While Browsing.......

        vodafone services — Network Disconnection

        I have purchase life time connection of Vodafone prepaid ([protected])in Aug 2008 after that i am suffering with it's Network problem, i, m unable to do STD calls, some time my calls have automatically transffered on some other numbers, now my messaging services has also been not working. Logged so many complaints to services, even after consulting with so many consumer care officers my problem is still as it is as it was. Pls guide me how should go about this as i am unable to get any feedback from voadafone services. Thanks & Regards

            Hi,

            I am using a Vodafone prepaid no. for the last one year. My no. is [protected]. I have been using services of Hutch since last 5 years.

            10 days back I have taken a bonus card of Rs 75 which claims to reduce my STD rate and local rate by 50%. But when I have tried to activate it, i was getting a message that recharge is not possible. After calling the customer care, I got a message that there is an issue in the server which is not reading...and was told to try after some time...I continuedly tried for the next two days but was not succeeded in activating it. Then, I ignored the case.

            Today, on 14th nov'08, again I recharged a talktime of 333, and taken another bonus card of Rs 75. Again, I am facing the same problem. I am trying to activate the bonus card but failed to do so. It is reflecting again the same message" recharge is not possible".

            Since, morning I am trying to connect to the customer care...but I am unable to do so...it is not allowing me to speak to a customer care executive...I am so much pissed off right now, that i don't know what to do...

            The serial no. of the card is[protected]...

            My question is, if the bonus card scheme is not available then why it has been floated in the market...Unnecessarily, I am losing my money because of that...

            I can understand, if it has happened to me once which already i have ignored, but if same kind of problem is repeated again and again then i feel that I have been cheated.

            Please take a serious action, as ultimately it will affect your esteemed brand name which it has earned over ages.Please look into the matter and acknowledge it.

            Vodafone — inaccessible service

            i have activated daily60 service on my no.[protected]
            but it is not working.anyone cn help me for this
            I am too facing the problem of not being able to activate my bonus card and not being able to talk to the customer care executives. I am totally frustrated of making repeated calls. There is no idea of what is happening over there. There is no message from the operators about the problems they are facing. When the message is sent, it shows the message, "service not available" and the customer care option is missing when called. I have been using this service for 3 years and if the situation continues, then no doubt it is surely going to affect the brand name it has earned. No doubt of it.

            Please take necessary action ASAP.

                THe company has launch their caller tune promo advertisement campaign on all caller tune user without taking their personal permission. I am one of their caller tune subscriber. When my friends/relatives call me, instead of hearing my subscribed caller tune, they first hear companies promo advertisement. I find this things absolutely unethical practice and illegal way o[censored]sing customers phone for their business purpose. I have complaint the matter to higher authorities but their system (which i find ridiculous) takes 2 months time to reach them. Please advise me how do I proceed further to get justise.

                  I am your old customer. Previously, I was your postpaid customer and few year back I change my plan postpaid to prepaid Life Time. I always used the top-up with Rs.110/- but this time this facility was not suitable to me as per my requirement because I always use to make STD calls. On 28th of October I asked to Local Retailer for top-up with another plan but by mistake he recharge with Rs. 220/-, which have only Rs.50/-
                  talk value. I was not in a position to say anything to local retailer because he is local resident of our colony. Sir, on the same day of DEEPWALI I lost Rs.170/-. Then immediately I talk with your customer care to top-up with another plan so I can get my lost amount but I don't find any positive reply from them. After that I visited your Local Office, which is situated in Crystal Mall, Near Moti Mahal Cine, Jaipur but again I find negative reply from them to help me to recover my Rs.170/- I told them all the things and long relationship with vodafone but eventhen I depressed with their reply.
                  Anyway, now my humble request to you please do something positive in my favour so that I can get my Rs.170/- .
                  I think it will be good to make good relation with your customer
                  I also work in a corporate sector and I know that this is not impossible .

                  Dear sir, i am a naval officer and have been using this service for almost 3 years and was good. but recently i have noticed the number of advertisements have increased to a great extent. yesterday i received 21 messages on the same day for recharge of 200 full talktime scheme. It is very sad to notice that vodafone has started to trouble their customers even in odd hours of night. i hope you shall look into this.

                      Hi,

                      I am having a vodafone postpaid connection . I have requested to enable VMC 499 plan on my mobile and its been activated. The usage of 500MB is given free with the plan. For the entire month, my usage amount is 347930 (in KBs)=343 MB. But I have been charged Rs.3479.30 for this usage charges. Ideally I should not be charged for this usage as it does not exceed free usage limit(i.e. 500 MB).

                      I have contacted customer care regarding the same, what I have been replied is, I have been charged for Vodafone Live not for Vodafone Mobile Connect. Now I dont know these technical terms. They have charged Rs. 3479/- for Vodafone Live and 499 for VMC as well.
                      I have logged a complain with consumer forum, but I am not sure whether Vodafone will compensate this amount or not.

                          Whenever I call my friend who is using Vodafone and opted for a hello tune, I will get a message as, "press * to get the caller tune. Rs. 15 per song and Rs. 30 per month". I think Vodafone being such a gaint in telecom should not use such cheap methods for markting its service. Who knows the caller's position or status?This is the only reason Vodafone has not been established with big corporates, but used by "" who have no work to do than opting for hello tunes or sending some unwanted stupid messages. Why Airtel is not offering such stupid services, because their customers are mainly corporates and they better know how to behave with corporates.                             I am Vineeth from Bangalore. On 8th nov 10.26am I made a call to a mobile number. The call lasted for about 58 sec. But I was charged Rs 1.20(3 mins) as where I should have been charged 40ps only... When I called the customer center at 10:38am I spoke to one named "Irfan". Not only he couldn’t help me out he used abusive language. When I asked him to transfer the call to any senior he dint do that rather used foul language. Not even prepared to take my compliant he cut the call. Again I called the customer care a lady answer the call. Even she was not prepared to transfer the call to any senior. Later she called a liar and cut the call.

                            Is this way you handle you customer's problem. While making call to customer center it says your call will be recorded. But I don’t think it is recorded nor any action is taken on people who just sit there and do nothing.

                            It is a black mark on Vodafone that being a global company. They can’t satisfy their customer. It would be great if you can teach your call center people how to talk to a customer. And let them know that customers are not on their mercy, but the other way...

                            Thanks for the hopeless and sour service offer by the company and its people...

                              Hi, I have been using vodafone prepaid service in Kolkata from last 18 months. Recently, from 2 or 3 months, I am observing that the company is billing the prepaid customers falsily and earning in crores. Let me explain the situation. When, I complete a call in 58 seconds, I should be charged only 1 unit pulse rate.My unit charge is 1 rupee. So, it should be charged 1 rupee for the last call. But, I am getting the call summary from vodafone as "Your last call charges for the number 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx' for 60 seconds is Rs.2." This is happening to me for every call. i.e... for every call, u r being charged for 2 extra seconds. Due to this, I used to loose around some 10 or 15 rupees a month. This does not matters to me. But this matters when u count all the customers' accounts which yields crores of rupees for vodafone per month. This should not happen. I have already complained several times to customer care. But, no response. they used to say that I had talked for 1 minute where I talked for 58 seconds. So, I request you to take necessary action against the company.

                                I took a new Vodafone corporate post paid connection in August. The reason why I opted for a post paid connection is because my usage is high and I make a lot of STD calls and with a pre paid number dont want to keep recharging it every now and then. Since the time I have taken my credit limit has been Rs1000. After a week of taking the connection my outgoing was barred because I had exceeded my credit limit. I made the payment even without looking at the bill. Called up customer service to ask for a credit limit increase and I got a simple answer that either I need to set up standing instructions or need to make a deposit of Rs[protected], which is ridiculous. I have used corporate post paid connections in other states also and they increase the credit limit upon your request. Also, it being a corporate connection you do not have to make a security deposit.
                                Since August I have been making a payment every week because every week by monday my outgoing gets barred and and I am left with no other option but to make a payment. I have sent several complaint mails to the vodafone's complaint email address and all I get from there is an auto generated reply.
                                I have repeatedly copied the mails to their manager Vivek Venkateswar at VIVEK.[protected]@vodafone.com and he does not seem to care.
                                In the last 4years I have not seen such pathetic customer service. I have spoken to their representatives repeatedly and even they agree with my concern but they say that its company's policy that they increase the credit limit only after the 1st 4 months o[censored]sage. My monthly usage goes upto Rs 4000 + and I am left with no other option but to make a payment every week of Rs1000+ whichis very inconvenient.
                                Before this I was using an Airtel post paid connection and they happily increased my credit limit within 1 month after looking at my usage and that I made my payment on time the very 1st month. In just one month they increased the credit limit from Rs1500 to Rs3500, which was very nice and they were co-operative too. The only reason why I had to switch to Vodafone was because in my house I do not get good Airtel network and now I cant change this number because a lot of people have this number to contact me.
                                I am facing a lot of inconvenience due to this for the last 3 month. I hope this lengthy mail makes a diference and is of some help to me.

                                    Yesterday i rang up 111 ( customer care)... it was regarding re activation of my vodafone connection the guy instructed me to pay it through credit card for immediate reactivation & I paid through Visa Bill Pay, I asked him Particularly shall i pay it through Visa bill Pay ..he said surely U can sir with in 1hr max u phone will get re activated...! I waited for more than 3hrs & then i rang up again & demanded for reactivation but the kind of response i got was horrible...! i said like i am going to throw the sim card..he said surely sir u can...ur not the only customer to us we have million customers like you...! vodafone will not b under loss i[censored] do so...& then i replied like boss ur not doing any favour to us we are doing a favour by Taking this freeking connection..! he repeated the same to me & he stressed like vodafone is doing a fovour to u by providing a connection...! As if we wont find any other connection this simply Indicates the Height of Foolishness...!

                                    I read he above article recently and would like to share the kind of horrible problems when i was using Vodafone services. these people sucks and I really felt bad when I was talking to one of their customer care executive.

                                    The kind of response from her i never expected, she literally had no respect on call with me.

                                    She replied very harshly saying you are not the only customer, we have several, Is this the way of handling customers????

                                    Next moment I have throned their SIM off and opted different service provider..

                                    Hope they will educate their customer care team properly.

                                    I have stopped receiving international text messages / sms from Asia to my Vodafone phone on January 1, 2011. I am able to receive text messages on a Telecom work phone. I have spoken to Vodafone NZ and they refuse to acknowledge that there is something wrong with their network. Just like in October when people were having trouble receiving text messages and Vodafone took months to acknowledge it was actually their problem. I have emailed and called 5 times. Every single time they suggest stupid things like turn on/off my phone or that they changed a network setting from "pre-active to active" and "now it will definitely work but try in 15 minutes." Vodafone sucks. They deserve to be sued!
                                    I.ve been with them ten ### years and they wont tell me why they don't have 2g let alone 4g in Scotland, shower of [censored]e
                                    Vodafone India including their customer service sucks real big time.. they have absolutely no respect for their existing customers and neither know how to solve any issue.. all they know is to take more and more and more money.. to such an extent that they forcefully changed my plan within a days time and when I got fed up with their services and asked them to deactivate the number they took weeks to deactivate.. that also after multiple follow up calls and complaint.. not to my fault I now have to pay for those extra days they took to deactivate the number that also on some new higher plan... Even their Vodafone store people agreed that "this is how company works and we can't do anything.. you can write email but nothing would happen.. you have to pay".. whenever I have spoken to the customer service I always think that this time it would be good but always end up having third class services... Vodafone message is clear.. our network is good so we don't care about our existing customers... We don't care about customer services.. all we care about is MONEY...

                                      i have a vodafone connection number [protected], , on saturday 1st nov 08 i purchase a recharge coupn named BC 50 for local calls at 50 paise, , but coupn didnt work . error that this voucher cannot b charge this time, i made a complaint at vodafone centre they said it ll work in 4 hours, but it didnt thn i make a call again on sunday morning, they again said it ll work in 4 hours, , thn i make a call on monday and take a complaint no, , , they said v r working on it, and ll reply you in 1 day... but till date i didnt got any call or anything, , , from vodafone, , now what i do, , should i throw tht card in dustbin or should shift to another service provider like AIRTEL OR IDEA, , its really discusting to have that type of BAD SERVICE thru a co. like VODAFONE, , its better to have HUTCH than vodafone
