Am a vodafone TN user.my sim is having family n frnds facility to 3no.s @ rate of 30ps.yesterday(24th dec) i got a msg frm vodafone statin they r changing the plan to 20ps rate and @ rent of 10rs/month/number!i'v already have 3no.s added.inorder to continue using this service i wud hav to sent FNF to 111, with in 26th dec, after that its told the facility wont be available!pls help!this is exploitation!pls.

Vodafone — friend & family not good offer

why friend family offer is not in the Mumbai vodafone to maharashtra vodafone for one number i am very un happy for that and that is the reason why ia ma not going to Vodafone connection
This is a very arrogant step by vodafone!they are imposing this burden on subscribers!even if we are not using this facility, we have to activate it because after 26th dec we cant avail this facility before sending the confirmation!the frustrating thing is the 10rs per month per number!just think about the user with caller tunes!they have to pay rs30+!this is daylight robbery!

vodafone now(09.06.09) announces add on rates 10rs - 5rs/no is Appreciate one.
The Rate of Add on number is now 20paise is too high while comparimg other sevice provider.
for eg.Reliance 11pm-6am. Free calling to all reliance, MTS giving 10, 00, 000 Minutes Free with just 499 Rs.
And Also Unlimited callings to MTS with just 100 Rs Bonus.
If the vodafone remain like this only then vodafone would loss it's customers.
Now a days I seen lots more friends have been changed to other service provider.
Voda has lots more customers in few days I agree with this but it does opposite action soon.

Voda atleast provide offers like voda addon numbers unlimited free calling like this.
or any other offers would satisfy the customer compare to the other service provider.

I have purchased Vodofone Data card on 9 - 4 - 2012. Initially it was not connected with my system. Then I complaint to RIP Marthandam. Then it was connected. The vodofone range is very less. Then I complaint about this problem to vodofone office at Marthandam. After few days a team visited my house and they turn the tower at Kuzhithurai. That time the downloading speed was about 45 kbps, the speed was bit slow even though I was able to brows. The team told to me within 10 days we increase the height of the tower at Ethavilai after that we will get net with normal speed. But I was able to brows only for about 10 days. Now - a - days at most of the time the downloading speed is about 0 kbps, So I am unabe to brows. So I request you to kindly to rectify this problem. Thanking You.

i have been using Vodafone prepaid([protected]) Tamil nadu network today 6-6-2012 last 3 month lot of amount deducted with out reason then last 3 month not connect the customer care then i will call other Vodafone number not give correct reason then any one customer care officer take complete want 48 hours time but not ready that 2 problems please kindly give me solution sir i am missed lot of amount minimum 100 a bove .

If Vodafone continues to be like this, it will fall back for sure.. I hope that it will change to customers needs...
I have had the worst experience with vodafone 198 number support for past week. Every time i call, i am told that the issue will be addressed and i did get a message today for the compliant i raised on 22nd that the issue has been resolved. The issue did not get resolved and the customer care guys dont even have the courtesy to rectify the problem. Every time the call is transferred to a so called senior who never picks up his call and the call disconnects. I call again to the customer, they give me the most stupid and disgusting answer that yes your call charges are not as per the 51 rs pack selected and the tariff is high and it is a mistake on our end, but our senior is not available to solve the issue. makes me wonder if even there is a senior or just a tactic to make us drop the call... anyways i am not expecting this worst service center to rectify my problem. I ll chnge to airtel. my mobile number is [protected].

Upto 5 numbers can be added. For each number activation 5 Rs will be charged and 10 Rs/number will be charged as monthly rental.

    Once I got a call probably from firm mentioned above. They told me about some postpaid plan 150-P which has monthly rental of 150 and providing STD as well as Local calls. I found it beneficial for me so I said to send some-one to take required documents to change connection from pre-paid to post-paid. The next day a guy came and take required docs and give me a post-paid sim and take Rs.250 as security/caution money. The next day a call came to confirm me about the connection and at that time he said there in noting like plan 150-P.
    So i refused to activate the post-paid sim and asked him to send back ma caution money.
    And till now they haven't returned ma money.
    currently I have the receipt of caution money and their sim card.

      My name is Yogesh Jain i got harrased for network coverage of the company in any of area iam travelling in Mumbaicity alone I work with J&J in sales department & travel daily from Borivali to Panvel My Mobile no is[protected] whenever i dial a phone it gets connecte & within a period of 10 second it gets disonnected this is a case of cheating with the consumewr as accoring to my plan i have to pay 50 paise per min but since phone gets disconnected i have dil again & i am charged again Since i am working in sales department of th company my usage of phone is very frequent Before using VODAFONE i was using Reliance but there was no such issue n that company network. I kindly request tolook into this matter soon as possible & reply to me

        I am fed up with their caller tune unwanted calls which will disturbs in between any important meetings and iritates us sometimes. I am using the vodafone prepaid connection and my no is [protected] and I was very busy in with my customer meeting at the same time i have received their prerecorded caller tune call and even after my disconnecting the call they have automatically installed the caller tune on my cell and deducted the caller tune charges from my prepaid account which is totally ridiculous.

        I want my deducted balance to be credited back asap as this is totally unacceptable.

          I am just another frustrated customer and I just wish Vodafone packed its bags and went back wherever on earth they came from. I just got off the phone with a totally dumb and incompetent call centre executive.

          I have recently bought a Nokia E71 because of the nature of my job which is digital. I activated Vodafone Live on my phone on Nov 29 I think and was able to access / browse the web. I got my bill too with the new charges for subscription for GPRS and am sure all the downloading charges are coming in my next bill because I didn't yet cross the free limit in the first month. Since two days I am unable to access the web - it keeps giving me DNS error. Not understanding what it meant I called up the call centre on[protected] and was on the call for 35 mins...which is huge in the middle of your busy schedule. Now the saga goes...

          Austin Pillai picks up the phone and goes through your entire verification even though we always go through the security on IVR ourselves. What is the issue? Well they say: Sorry about that, we have technical problems...last 5 years all servuce providers say that...dont they???

          Austin Pillai, not Powers...goes on in his scripted language - We are sorry to inform you Ms. XXX, we apologise Ms. XXX, Thank you for your patience Ms. XXX, Sorry to put you on hold Ms. XXX and so on and on and on...Then he tells me that I cannot access all www. sites on my phone I need to subscribe to something else called Vodafone Mobile connect. When I stressed that the issue is only since 2 days and I was able to browse till Sunday afternoon, he fell silent. Then asked me again what handset I had and which website I was trying to browse. He then put me on hold, came back to the line, apologised once again for putting me on hold and said Ms. XXX can I request you to do type wap.in to access any website. When I asked him how different this was and why I should do this, he had no answer. After another hold, he said you can access only a few www sites as against what he had said a few mins ago. I asked him to put me onto someone who knew stuff, but he didn't let me speak, continued talking at his full pace and said you do this first - Can you guys believe this? I want to officially lodge this complaint as I am unable to access web even though I am paying for this subscription, their last advice did not work.

          I requested to speak to the supervisor who is someone called Abhiskek Joshi but he too being inept i guess never turned up on the phone. My call was for 35 mins and this email has taken me another twenty mins. I am not sure what can be done but please help me out, I need this to be flagged off to highest level. They cannot fleece money out of people; Vodafone has call drops, cheap call centre executives and bad service. Pathetic, Unacceptable and Ridiculous!!! I would like to switch to Airtel once I get more information but Vodafone needs to answer and resolve this issue, I am unable to do my job now!!!
          am get full facilities but not activate the vodafone live settings then same time there are not given to correct responses am very disagree with this service...,

              Good Afternoon,

              I am writting this mail hoping that there will be some action taken. I trust Consumer Forum and please dont disappoint me.

              I have a Vodafone number. I have been making payments towards my account regularly without being late.

              I am a housewife. Recently, I purchase Gulf Calling cards to reduce my Hutch Bill as my Husband is working in Gulf. Finacially its a bit difficult for us, as I am not working.

              I have been calling Vodafone for the past 4 days as the amount from my GCC card is be deducted without me even talking to my husband. This happened with me thrice and and I did inform the Vodafone people. They kept on promising that it will be taken care and will get back to me. I spoke to many supervisors they also promised the same thing to me. I did not get any call till date.

              On that there customer service is really bad. They dont know how to speak to a lady customer. The agent literally yelled at me for no fault of mine and he hung up on me when asked for a supervisor.

              Vodafone are liars, cheaters and they tortured me mentally. I want some action to be taken against these people immediately.

              Its my humble request, please take some action. Vodafone, customer service is the worst one. I have been a customer with Vodafone for 8 years. Now, enough is enough.

              Please take some action.

                I m a Vodafone Prepaid Customer in AP(Prepaid Mbl No:[protected]).today evening(7pm) I got 3 messages from Vodafone that you are activated a caller tune in my number and deducted around Rs.45/- from my mobile’s account. Pls note that I didn't made any request for a caller tune. Then I spoke to your local support number ([protected]), regarding. this issue and they give me a reply that, I pressed some buttons while talking to somebody and that’s the reason for enabling the caller tune. Even if any type of such arrangement is there in your system, it is your minimum responsibility to send a request to me for confirming weather this facility enable or not. Then my balance got reduced. I am simply not interested in any type of caller tunes in my number. Also while talking to anybody, its my right to touch any key button on my handset(pls note that its not supplied by you).I hereby request you to remove this caller tune from my number within 24hrs and refill the amount which you deducted from my account I thought if you stop this type of PICK POCKET Business, that will help you very much in your Business and your reputation.Moreover your customer care executive are extremely rude and they actually misbehaved with me.Vodafone, i supposed is a reputed company and would definitely not like to be known for all this wrong reasons. I am waiting for your kind immediate reply. pls note that if you are not responding properly I will send this complaint to TRAI(Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) and all major News Papers in India.

                  Previously when it was under hutch brand name i could login to my account details for my phone bill and check my call usage details easily and was possible, now past 10 months this service is not accesible however i can login succesfful to my account but not able to view my detail bill, if i want to then it would be charged whic i do not want to rest everthing from vodafone is superb service

                    Dear Sir,

                    This is to bring to your notice the worst quality of service experience that I have received as a consumer of your company in last few months. Please note my complaints as follows:-

                    I have requested to activate international roaming on 5th December 2008 on my postpaid mobile connection [protected] at Vodafone store located in Hypercity, Malad (W). I have told to pay Rupees 2800/- as a security deposite t activate the International roaming service, which immediatly paid anf got the receipt of the same. I have assured that IR will be activated within two hours. I flew abroad on 6th Decemebr 2008 early morning. It was my utter surprise to see that roaming service is not working.

                    When i checked back with Vodafone Customer care after my return on 17th Decemebr 2008, I was informed that International roaming service ias not at all activated in my number inspite of receving Rupees 2800/- as security deposite for activation of IR service.

                    This has resulted in lot of mental agony and I was unable to touchbase with my family back in India. eLet Vodafone return my IR security deposite in cash and not to be adjusted against future monthly bills, since you have not provided the service at all.

                    I failed to understand the lapse on part of Vodafone front desk persones at Hypercity, malad (W), who could not do thier job properly. This is not expected from a Comany like Vodafone, who says "happy to help".

                    I would like share my Worst service experince as well.

                    I was being a customer of Vodafone for past 1 and half Year.

                    I used make call for more than Rs 1500/- every month which include ISD as well.

                    Vodafone was ready to provide me Post paid connection bcoz of the bill i paid..


                    One Sudden day they set a caller tune which i was not at all subscribed. When i checked with the Customer care, they said i have made the request.

                    I have clearly mentioned to them, i was in a call with my friend when they said the request was made..

                    I really wonder how the request will be made and the tune is activated when some one is on call.

                    Secondly they advised me to go nearest vodafone center, to revert back my Rs 30/-

                    After getting 2 hrs permission from my office during lunch break, i went to Vodafone store Which is next to Mylapore, Chennai -5.. Next to IBM, Opp to Derby show Room.


                    i was made to wait for more 2 and half hour.. where as the front desk people are completely free..

                    Among the whole office Only one person deals with the ring tone complaint, that too he is handling a lady customer for more than two hrs.. who steped in with me just 3 seconds a head.

                    Finally after fighting with them, Front desk people responded me where as issue was not solved..

                    He gave me some mail id who handles the escalation.. i was just got fed up with there procedure and left the office.


                    What i like to point out here is :

                    Why all these are made.. and who is responsible for this . do the customer not have any work other than running behind vodafone to get their money back. or is this the new trick of Vodafone to increase the Revenue..

                    if vodafone does same thing for 1000 customer they get 1000(Customer)*30(caller tune amount)=30000(thirty thousand at one shot).

                    i do need answer for all my question.

                    Vodafone customer service is not "Happy to Help" ... they Give Excuse in the Name of Procedure..

                    Finally they dont do their work..

                    We are not asking as to HELP.. Kindly do your job properly Everything will be fine.

                      Sir,

                      I have taken a new postpaid connection oon 08.11.2008 under corporate scheme. In this plan it was mentioned that the monthly rent will be Rs.99. But I have received a letter from Vodafone in which it is mentioned that the monthly rent will be Rs.99 for first 12 months thereafter Rs.149. Please clarify the actual position.

                        My vodafone mobile no [protected]. This mobile SIM surrender on 21th October 2008 after clear all dues (bill). My security deposit Rs.300.00 not send vodafone company. But I receive legal (court) letter (shaman). Vodafone file one case against me in kolkata. Vodafone claim my dues Rs 1122.00.But legally no dues against this mobile connection. I told vodafone customer care, but vodafone customer care advice me, deposit Rs. 1500.00 withdraw said court case. But all bill document (Receipt) available of my custody. Vodafone case start in Kolkata, But our residence in Siliguri. Please Help me.

                          This is kavitha from rajahmundry-ap.i am using [protected] sim from 2years onwards it is prepaid but 1 month back i transfered to postpaid. suddenly on 4th of this month it is unregistred. i went to rajahmundry danavaipeta-vodaforecare on 4th.they are not going to give good response. it is 16th tillnow my sim is not activating. even manager also not staying there. near by 6 times we went to that showroom. yesterday they replaced my sim but. till now it is not going to be activated.actually i called to customercare. my detils are also not visible to them. what i will do now sir? take care about my number.
                          in prepaid i never faced any problem. but in conversionand also for just one month i faced so many problems. to whom i have to contact.please respond to my request. thaking you

                            hi, i am vodafone useer from last three years with nice payment track. my mobile no is [protected]. in October 2008 i went to vodafone gallary to disconnect my service but they request me to continue with vodafone and request me to change plan to 199 Rental p.m. and request to try for 1 month. As per bill send by vodafone in that month my usage was Rs.100 apx. & Rs. 70 of value added service but they send me bill of Rs. 956/- (They add New connection charges, 2 advance rentals and more). i had launch compalaint in vodafone gallary at Borivali - East, Mumbai. he promissed me to take necessary steps. but now they are using rude language to make bill payment of Rs. 956/- inspite of my nice billpayment track from last 3 years with them. Plz help in this. How i will pay the bill more than my usage?

Since January after the payment of bill through check they are again adding my january bill amt in the latest bills and not acknowleging the bill which is already paid by check . The check has been cleared from the account and the details including bank statement is given to the hutch care four times, am mentioning latest complain on. "[protected]" .

                            Now they have also send us the legal petition that requestion us to please pay the bill otherwise they will sent the legal notice . I wonder how low standard, vodaphone billing system is that can't update the system. Request you to do the same otherwise if, the sytem is incapable to managing the financial bill info and update the same then please infom the customers to avail the another service, but please help them to face inconvenience caused by you people only.

                            vodafone billing desk i have misplace my sim card on 1 march 2009, brother visited to gallery for same but after that also i am charged for bill which includes rental & taxes, speaking to customer care Vodafone they told me you have taken a duplicate sim card from gallery where else i havent ask for sim card, they have given it to somebody else. charged advance rental for month of feb 09, finally i have rec notice from advocate j r vakil & in goregaon w.

                            Vodafone — poor service and manipulation of bills

                            I am a customer of vodafone, since 2001, last few years, the vodafone came they started to make manipulation in bill and poor service to solve the problems. the employees of the company are most arrogent and they are irresponsible. so dont take vodafone connection, if you planning to be a mobile

                              Vodafone — Very poor coverage

                              From the last 2 months i am following it up for the better coverage at my living place they are saying today they increased the band width and now the signal is good but still we are ffacing the problem. Pls do the needful...
                              Vodafone has degreaded its services. Yesterday it took 20 min. by the represenatative to attend the call 3 times. Two times I disconnect the phone by myself as 15-20 min. hold just to talk to the vodafone to make a compliant ...is itself a very big complaint.
                              They charged twice and took money for a single bill. They did not inform me but I called them when I checked. After that they says they will not be able to refund but will adjust in the next bill. I dont understand what the hell they are saying.
                              Firstly you are charging wrongly and they did not inform the user.
                              Asfter that once you caught you are saying same will be adjusted in the next bill. ????
                              Please tell how can i get my money back?

                              Even i am facing a lot of problems in coverage. I have to try atleast two times to connect to any number. Every first time it will just disconnect without any proper message. Every second time it will just gime me the message, "The person you are trying to call is currently out of coverage". And ten if I try third time I can connect to the User. Isn't this waste of resorces and time. Wat kind of service is this??

                                  Vodafone — Caller tune charge

                                  They have started caller tunes on my mobile without my permission and have deducted the rent for the same. The reversal of the same is not done inspite of my several attempts. I want to bring to your notice that they have started this business to earn money and people like me is being harassed for the same.
                                  They have started on both of my mobile.

                                  They have also charged me wrongly and when we had talk with their representative named Mr. Akhilesh Gupta, he verbally deducted some amount and suggested to submit the rest. Now I always get message as well as SMS to deposite the rest which has been agreend upon by their above said representative.

                                  In this regards, I have written them a mail but they do not respond. Is there any way we can put them on track. Kindly help, otherwise I am forced to realize that there is no system working in our country for the people like me.

                                  Sir, I own a shop named "DECENT - MOBILES" in my home city Meerut, India . I am a vodafone retailer having vodafone E-TOP up sim from the company distributor, from last 2 weeks i am facing a big trouble with my connection regarding charges deducted from my personal a/c twice & this was the charges of caller tunes activated on my phone without my permission as well as the reply through customer care services was not satisfactory to me that I myself pressed # to activate the service . Sir, this can be happened by mistake of mine once but how it could be twice in a particular few days when I am using Vodafone/ Hutch since last 4 years .

                                  Sir, I want to request one thing if the retailer can have these sorts of problems how could he be able to satisfy other cutomers to promote Vodafone itself .

                                  I kindly request the company for the solution & refund of my amount .

                                  Si my vodafone no [protected]. I had asked vodafone to discontinue caller tunes in my mobile no on 16 jul 09 and they confirmed to me that they have deactivated the service from 16 jul09 from 1420hrs. Refer their sms of same date no 56789. Now i have received the bill for the period from11/07/09 to 10/08/09 and they are charging me Rs 30/ for caller tunes. I contacted the vodafone customer service [protected] today 16 aug 09. They say that they will be charging the amount of rs 30/ for the whole bill period even though i am not using that particul;ar service which i belive is unfair and not good trade prctice

                                    Myself Maukik Solgama.
                                    Before 2 months i have been purchased one postpaid sim card from vodafone store in Rajkot, Gujarat.
                                    At that time i have paid Rs.1400 for my choice number.but later
                                    they have found that one or two years back my father was vodafone user and still he hasn't paid his outstanding bill of Rs.600.so they have told me that u will have to paid first outstandiang billing amount and after clearance of outstanding bill we will give your Rs.800 back.
                                    At that time i was agree for that and they told me that rest of your money you will receive directly by cheque by courier after 15 days.
                                    But after 15 days they told me u will receive your money after 45 days but after 60 days still i have not received my money.
                                    And whenever i have tried to consult the officer they just e mail his higher authority for this.
                                    Please solve my problem ASAP.

                                      I am Faruk Mulla, my Mo. no is;-[protected] I doing recharge of 50 Rs last 23 July 2011. That time my account in a 28 RS debit for 25 paisa/std call for one month but I don’t want this facility.
                                      That causes I gives complaint to Vodafone customer care 111 & H.O Lower Parel, in my token no is a 263(26 July). I explain to my problem executive & he promise give promise your debit balance return within 7 to 2 hours. But Vodafone not return balance in my account. Your 111 in executive do not receive call properly, & not give answer correctly. This executive is careless and lazy type.

                                      I am Surjitsingh B. Nogi, my mobile number is [protected], is switched over from post paid to prepaid scheme. After getting message I have recharge my mobile with retail shop keeper as follow: 1.0) Rs.230.00 - 240TT, Rs 71-local [protected]@30P/Min.& Rs.98- V2VF @10P/Min.and Rs.97- internet schemes. After I have not getting any message for balance I have by mistake dial scheme on -*444*71 & *444*98 and due to amount is deducted. I have dialed on 198 and as per them amount will be credited in my TT with in 24 hours, But still completion of 24.00Hrs still amount is not credited my TT. You may please be enquire how the system will deduct the amount which was paid by me through retail shop keeper. I hope you may take necessary action for system which will accept, but when balance not available not allowed and if such cashes amount should be re- Added in my talk time with in one hours. I hope vodafone is more reliable concern and take necessary action for system should run properly and customer become happy to join vodafone.
