Dear Sir,

We are having our manufacturing Units at Ankleshwar in Gujarat. We are customer of Vodafone and we have more than 150 CUG connections for our EPABX and for our employees. Despite of our repeated complaints complaints calls for Vodafone Land line No : [protected] at our Unit-2 and another Landline No : [protected] at our Unit-1.

we regret to inform you that, we are facing this problem since long and most of the time it is out of order. Unfortunately the Vodafone representative are unable to solve this problem permanently. If you go in to the depth of this problem, the representative are taking so much time in attending the problem. Even after attending the problem it is reputedly occurring, as a result we could not use the services efficiently.

Even we found lot of difficulties in approaching the technician/ engineer.

I was shocked while interaction with their mr. VijeyandraSinh when he abruptly denied to listen my problem and responded without hesitation that "if you would like to discontinue you can discontinue. We are not here to listen your complaints. FCT is not our product and for that we cant do anything. It is Visiontech product and Vodafone is not responsible for the call services."

We have installed this FCT from Vodafone and being a Vodafone customer we can not approach to Visiontech or any other agencies.

Even he has replied that “I will respond with the same reason even if you want in writing”

So far we are facing this problem permanently, if you investigate the matter you will be convinced that how they are lingering the problem since long.

As an outcome of the above problem we are unable to utilise the services and therefore our work gets hampered and it affect our business indirectly.

May I request to interven in this matter to give justice in this matter.

Personal — frequent calls from a landline

I get frequent calls from the phone number [protected] to my mobile. When I attempt to answer the call, there is no response. After some time the call is disconnected. I want to know the name of the subscriber and address of this Tata indicom land line number.
Even i am getting calls from this number [protected]. when i tried to contact the no there is no response. I would also like to know the subscriber's detail.

    butnow there is a big prob. for me that my sms facility is create a lot of problem for me
    the sms of my phone is not sending from yesterday.

    This is a very small request to u, but a very big prob. for me
    I have a hutch connection which is now called as vodofone(Life time_my Number [protected]).. I m not able to receive even a single msg from last 2 days, I have a sufficient space to receive a msg & my balance is 1.14 paise. I am able to make calls to others... the msg center number I have in my mobile is ([protected]) please try to sought out this problem as soon as possible... Thank you

      Dear Sir,

      On[protected], my one of Vodafone No. [protected] and on[protected] another Vodafone No. [protected] caller's tune got avtivated without my consent, knowledge and information by the Vodafone Chennai Company. And for which a sum of Rs. 30 + 30 was scrapped off from my prepaid balance a/c. as tune charges.

      Neither i keep interest in caller's tune activation nor i placed any request for it. The Vodafone is cheating customers by using their electronics controlling systems. Because our hard earned money is under their control as pre-paid balance account.

      On what basis and under what grounds of power the Vodafone has activated the caller's tune against the wish and will of Customer and stole the money as " CHARGES".

      I really APPRECIATE the Vodafone company that it has chossen a very good way of stealing customer's hard earned money.

      I want my money Rs. 30 + 30 back to my credit which was stolen by Vodafone.

      What the Vodafone has done is totally againt the CONSUMER'S PROTECTION ACT.
      For which i went to the Chennai main office of Vodafone on[protected] to handover a complaint. They read the matter but refused to accept it. So i posted the complaint through Rgd. post on[protected].

        I used vadofone no. [protected], Vadofone call for the caller tunes, these no. are +91 [protected], +91 [protected] & +91 [protected], ( Compupers numbers) And today morning I got a SMS from 56789 number, that your callertune subscription are activated, but I don't accept the any callertunes, As well as Now I check the balance from *141#, vadofone deducts Rs. 40/- for the same. as well as still these callertune no. call me for the same reason, even after deduction of Rs. 40/- from my account.

          since I transfered to Bangalore I have requested customer care center to deactivate my mobile number [protected]. I had paid the dues during Jan 2009 and requested so many times enquiring how to go about surrender the sim no proper information I received. I had given my E mail ID also. but no response.
          kindly deativate the sim. and let me know the bill amount. Hope you will not charge more billing amount since I was not guaided by your customer care properly.

            The STD Call Charge for Vodafone Prepaid Service is Rs. 1.30 per minue. This was the charge i was paying till now. Suddenly, they have started charging Rs. 1.50 per minute. I have niether changed the plan nor anything else. Also, the vodafone- India website does not display the toll-free customer care call centre no.
            There are regular auto-calls from them. The regular calls are disturbing and call-drop rate is very high. It is unarguably the worst service provider.

              My worst experience began with Vodafone when I firstly activated my mobile connect services on 4 June 2008 on my existing number. After making a request to activate it I realized its too costly as compared to the free wi fi connectivity on my iphone, so, I wanted to deactivate it. Vodafone follows a procedure to activate or deactivate the services by messages. I sent a message to deactivate it but never got a confirmation. Then I called customer care to deactivate. They said it has been deactivated. My bad experiences with Vodafone underlines:
              1. So I called to confirm it and got a respond that due to some technical problem you haven’t deactivated it before but we will do it now manually and not by an sms. Then I never checked it whether it was deactivated or not.
              2. I was on the scheme to get the bill on my mails, which mind it, they never send me.
              3. Then When on 28 November, I call customer care centre to ask for my bills to be send for the last 4 months, what I see there is Mobile connect charges on me every month. (I have activated for 199 plan, and on the rocks they were charging me 499 every month.) Firstly they never send you a bill on your mails and then they over charge you on the services you have already deactivated. But now when I have asked the bills and have the records of the Last 6 months in which I was charged unnecessarily the amount every month, you are not cooperating with me.
              Besides being an old customer of Vodafone, I am a member of Consumer court under the act Consumer Protection 1986.

              I think you would be concerned and take the immediate actions for it.

              Moreover when I talked to the senior executive at 111, name Sandeep, he told me that my problem will be solved. And for that matter I said I will wait to pay the bill of November so that I can get the refund.

              Current Status; they say I won’t get any reversals.

              Please I would like to say the concerned authority that they should take some serious steps.

              Vodafone — overchrge / Hidden charges /cheating by Vodafone

              Even the personal complaint and meeting with the former CMD went futile and Vodafone is careless and negligent in its services in India and cheats Indians
              Yes VODAFONE is a charging recklessly to the customers and always stab at the back where as openly they smile and deceive you . So beware customers .Bogus co bogus kam .khabardar Vodafone
              Go to Trai.gov.in and find out Nodal Officer for vodafone and write to him

                I have postpaid connection with Vodafone with number [protected]. Last Nov07 to July08, i continupusly received faulty bills. After that when i went for converting my post paid service to prepaid service they offered me a very lucrative offer of 2000 sms free of rent for first three month and then after rent of Rs 25 . But after first three months, i have received a bill of 2500 as they have charged for sms. Now they are flatly refusing and not correcting my bill. Need help . Thanks

                  i am using vodafone services on my mobile since past 6 years. they have levied illegal charges on me for my november bill by changing my talk plan without even my consent. it is a clear cut case of fraud and cheating as they are even denying to give me a copy of revised bill. according to my original talk plan Corp299 i was paying a amount of 0.50paise for any local calls. they changed my plan to GK199 plus without my consent where they have charged me 1.69rupees for local calls. Inspite of repeated complaints and talks no action has been taken even after a month has passed by. to the add to grievance they have also disconnected my phone thus hampering my image. I m a doctor and the major people suffering because of this are me and my patients. i would sincerly request the consumer forum to look into the matter and lodge a serious complaint. for the evidence i have all my previous bills as well as the copy of all complaints i ve made to the company.

                      A brief background on the incident(s): Ph no [protected]

                      1. An executive called up on 27th Dec 2008 saying bill has not been paid. The executive offered to send an executive to my address to have the money picked up. The executive was to come at 10:00 am on 28th Dec 2008 but failed to turn up. He finally gave a call at 12:30 pm saying that he would come at 04:00 pm. The executive failed to turn up again.

                      2. On 29th Dec 2008, I finally called him up and he came and collected the money. Shortly afterwards, I received a call asking for the bill payment. The executive asked for the receipt no which was promptly conveyed. The outgoing call facility was promptly debarred.

                      3. At 09:30 pm I called up the customer care and spoke to an executive named Manjunath regarding reactivation of the same. He said that after an executive collects money, it takes 24 hours for the same to be updated. I asked him that why am I being penalised for a fault of the executive who failed to turn up to collect the payment. He started talking of different modes of payments. I requested him if I could speak to anyone senior enough so that this could be escalated. He put me on hold twice (about 2-3 minutes each time) saying that all of them were busy. The problem anyways would still not be solved. I even asked him if they could call me whenever they are free to which I received a blatant refusal. He offered to give me an email id and said that I would receive a response in 24-48 hrs.

                      My questions are :-
                      a. If the executive who was to collect the money was at fault, why am I being penalised for this? Because of this, I wasn't able to make a call which has actually had a severe impact on my financial standing, the extent of which is unimaginable, well at least for me it is.
                      b. Why did Manjunath not transfer the call to anyone senior? Was it that there was no one present, or if they were present, they weren't confident enough to answer my queries?
                      c. What are the quality checks and control measures in place?
                      d. Who is the customer - me or Vodafone?

                      I had taken this card 3 months back.

                      Many a times i would not get service.

                      But this time i cannot make any otgoing or incoming calls since i only get the message ...You have no service all calls are barred.

                      Neither can i talk to any customer care executive on phone ...All calls are recorded.

                      I stay alone in my house ...we do not have any landline facility ...thinking that this mobile will help me to stay in touch outside. But i feel it is better to take a landline instead of depending on this rather service.

                      I had been promised by the Customer care executive Ms. Nagalakshmi (Horrible executive with no knowledge of the dept she works in) from Thane Gokhale Road Gallery ...on Friday that my mobile will become activated on Saturday ...but now it is Monday still no positive results.

                      I will again have to go to the gallery and waste my precious time there inspite of such a busy schedule.

                      Are they really Happy to help us ...or they want us us to be in problem permanently.

                          Dear Madam/Sir,

                          I was using Vodafone's post paid connection (mob-[protected]) for more than last 2 years. 3 months back I went o Dubai for company work and stayed there for 3 days. I had used my mobile with my Lap top and used GPRS of vodafone. Now when I returned to India, I had been charged 44, 383 Rs without any intimation to me. Now Vodafone is saying that he had not that data and that was why he had not informed me. I said him very clearly that if Vodafone has no data then it is not fault of Customer. Just think sir, What happen if I had stayed there for another 4-5 days, I think I would have been charged more than 5 Lac Rupees. When I was called in meeting at Vodafone head office, all the person who were in meeting had cleared accepted this 5 Lac matter. I don't know how many people are cheated with this system if vodafone gets data late from his foreign business partner. Now Vodafone is saying me to pay this huge bills by installment. Why should I pay this huge bill in installment??? I haven't taken any loan. Please take some strict action and teach lesson to this multinational company. I have clearly said to Vodafone to send a legal notice and I will answer for this matter in court. I have faith in Indian laws and confidence as I am TRUE.

                            This is Abhinav Monga from kanpur & no. is [protected] on 24/dec/08 i have called their customer care & i have just asked them how to de-activate my caller tune but i think they were drunk & they started abusing me & they hung up on me & that next day i.e 25/dec/08 on chritmas day they suspended my no. & when i have called back again they said that i have requested them to suspend my no. i mean this is rediculas i have used IDEA, AIRTEL, BSNL etc but they havent given me this type of complaint.I AM HILIGHTING THIS

This no is operating MY MOTHER Today (25.09.2010) my MOTHER had call me & tell me that Rs10 have dedected then i have sugest him to call customer care no 198. then she called him to ask why dedected.                               Hi,

                              I m using vodafone # [protected] , i have not applied for dnd but my nos appear in dnd list. PLease request you to remove my no. from the same. Due to this dnd activation i m unable to get certain sms for which i pay.

                              Sir, I am an vodafone consumer. I have been informed that someone has lodged complaint against my number for ringing him and asking him about some spa service. His number is registered on DND.
                              Sir, I have seen his number on a website of a spa and ringed him to enquire about the same. I do not have any telemarketting interest. I ringed him only once. Now the TRAI people has ringed me and said that my number will be suspended.

                              Please adivce me what to do?

                                Horrible service, oafish staff and dishonest practice. - they make Vodafone Chennai!!!
                                Vodafone Chennai is synonymous with oafish staff, awful service and dishonest practice. To call them liars and unprofessional is an understatement.
                                why is chennai not an eligible circle for star of the match contest ??!!! this is totttaly unfair
                                Most customer services are like that. What is the skii8ll level of the people who pick up the call? At times, irate customers shout all profanities at them. But these hapless and clueless young workers neither have the training nor any power. They are not allowed to call anyone other than their supervisor. Their process of escalation goes at a snail's speed and there is a lot of redtapism and bottleneck. It is not unique to Vodafone, it happens with most of the companies in service sector. Even in bank call centers, barring American Express, and few others, the call center executes are absolutely clueless.

                                But Vodafone tops the chart, not because their call center executives are untrained and raw; but because their senior managers are equally dumb or deliberately apathetic. I wonder, as vodafone has been greatly involved with a lot of corporate social responsibility activities, they might have even been very kind to hire mentally retarded people in senior positions in Chennai. Though I laud their efforts in rehabilitating mentally retarded people - I also suggest, they shyould give them jobs which they can handle; and do not put others in inconvenience or trouble.
                                The worst mobile telephony services. but if you are planning to subscribe to one, better check others. And if you have issues about your existing vodafone connection, it is not worth pursuing it with Vodafone. You will be wasting your time and energy. Just change over to a better provider.

                                Vodafone Chennai customer care is created the hell for it's customers.

                                Even After repeated calls to Call center, the people sitting there (So called Happy to help people) doing nothing to the customers.

                                I recharged with WCC 550 by using where a customer can make calls to ISD and STD calls for cheaper.STD call rate will be 1Rs/Minute.When I called 25 times, the answers from each care guy is a different one.One says that We can not call STD.another one says for STD the call rate will be Rs42/Minute.

                                And after repeated calls I am not able to completely call the STD or ISD calls using WCC(I dont know what they did it to my mobile number)

                                When I am trying to contact so called senior managers over the care center, The people told that finallay they (Senior guys are not responsible for these type of complaints?i do not who will be responsible.

                                i am sorry to bring to your notice that, i have stopped using this vodafone number since may 2009, and i paid my bill before due date to this particular mobile number [protected] on June 2009.

                                In the month of July i am receiving a bill with nil balance, it means that i have paid all my previous bills, in month of august i didn't receive any bill,

                                I have purchased Vodofone Data card on 9 - 4 - 2012. Initially it was not connected with my system. Then I complaint to RIP Marthandam. Then it was connected. The vodofone range is very less. Then I complaint about this problem to vodofone office at Marthandam. After few days a team visited my house and they turn the tower at Kuzhithurai. That time the downloading speed was about 45 kbps, the speed was bit slow even though I was able to brows. The team told to me within 10 days we increase the height of the tower at Ethavilai after that we will get net with normal speed. But I was able to brows only for about 10 days. Now - a - days at most of the time the downloading speed is about 0 kbps, So I am unabe to brows. So I request you to kindly to rectify this problem. Thanking You.

                                  Hi,
                                  I have been using a Vodafone number for last 2.5 yrs. From the beginning I have been getting unwanted calls on this number. It seems that the number has been reused by Vodafone and previously it was allotted to some advocate (some Tapan Tanay Haldar). Strange part is, that person seems to be giving away this particular number as his present contact number! So, I get many unwanted calls (including few 'threat calls'!) and SMS. Don't know what that person's business is (or was), but it is irritating to get SMS from multiple banks (HSBC, SBI and ICICI) with reminders for credit card and loan account payments of amount up to 8 lakhs. I have contacted those banks several times asking why I am getting those SMS when I don't have any pending amount due. They did not disclose any details of those accounts, saying that it is against their 'privacy policy', but said that those were not on my name. I am getting those reminders because somebody is referring this mobile number as their personal number.

                                  My question is, what are the options I have to stop this kind of harassments because Vodafone has given me a number that was being used by somebody else, and somebody is still using this number for getting credit card or new loan accounts? Banks told that they could not do anything on this and suggested me to ignore these SMS. But, when we see many news of somebody getting into trouble because some bank issued credit card or loan account to a person, but using some other's personal details, this is really worrying me. These banks also do not seem to validate phone numbers before approving credit card of loan account! Can you please suggest a solution for this?

                                  I sympathize with you for such harassments as I bought a mobile phone last month, and every day since then am receiving SMS from banks for loan payments and people calling me asking for Minesh Shah, it is such a pain. I spoke to Barclays and CitiBank to remove this number from their records, but they wouldn't do that this and told me to ignore the same in the same manner as told to you.

                                  I propose that Vodafone provide such customers a new number, number that haven't been used before and also update their policy to reuse mobile numbers after 10 years, This should be a must considering the amount of theft happening for mobile phones.

                                  Banks need to do verification and update their records immediately, Vodafone should stop reusing numbers for at-least 10years.

                                  People need to be a bit more sensible, calling same number multiple times will not change the owner, Minesh is gone and you need to hunt him using different contact details

                                        From past 5yrs im customer of vodafone evry 1 at my home uses it.
                                        bt since from 6months im irritated with the prepaid services
                                        1.UNEVEN TIMES CALLS & MESSAGES FROM THE PREPAID SERVICES WHICH IS DISTUBING A LOT DURING OFFICE HOURS

                                        2.CUTTING OUT THE BALANCE WITHOUT INTIMATING WHICH IS AMAJOR PROBLEM(if calls customercare they give answer that i requested for a song so dey have cutted the balance which is very false)
