Dear Sir,

With utter dismay I would like to inform you that my prepaid mobile service (no: [protected]) has been discontinued (including incoming calls) since around 06:00PM without assigning any reason.

When I contacted to the customer care, I have to waited for a long time (about 20 minutes each time) to talk to a customer care executive. I talked to two of them and both of them have no explanation for this phenomenon. Both of them said me to transfer the call to their higher authority and disconnected the call after a while. The name of the former I cannot remember. However, name of the latter is Susmit Bhattacharyya.

Since then I am unable to talk to any of the customer care executives in spite of hanging for a prolonged time.

So, I suppose you want to accept me no more as a customer. I would appreciate if you be kind enough to tell it to me frankly so that I can take a new connection.

Vodafone — Illogical argument and Extremely rude service

I got my vodafone postpaid number in 2008 as part of a student plan when I was a student in Mumbai. Now I have been maintaining the same number while I am working. I am based out of my permanent location in my home state. This is for the verification drive by the Government of India.The lady at the vodafone store in Prabhadevi, Miss Yasha expects me to provide the proof of address in mumbai. Her argument is that since this is a Mumbai number I have to have a proof of residence in Mumbai. She says I have to get the electricity bill of the guest house I put up in when I come to Mumbai and a letter from them. This is sheer nonsense. I was presenting my passport as proof of residence but since it is not in Mumbai I was told to go back in an extremely rude fashion. For this purpose I have only subscribed for email bills. If it is not possible for users to have portability across states then I need this in writing as I am willing to take up this matter legally in the courts. I expect an immediate reply on this because it is not possible to keep visiting Vodafone stores in the busy schedules.
