Vodafone — misleading information regarding tariff plan
i was offered tariff plan for 199rs/month,,,,,,,,in which i was offered 600 anytime antnetwork minutes and 150local and 150 national messages,,,,,,call charges 20p to vodafone,,,,and 30p to other local networks,,,and 50p std,,,,,,,,,,,,,WEF -- 21/01/2011,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but now now my bill is charged wid a new plan,,,,,,,in which i am offered 200 anytime anynetwork minutes and 150 messages,,,,,,,,,,,i am disputing my bill,,,,,,my mobile number is [protected]......please respond immediately,,,,,before i file a complaint wid,,,,,,Consumer complaints team,,,,,Vodafone — change plan from postpaid to prepaid
i have approched voda store at alankar centre ,gandhinagar vijayawada.3. in the month of december 2010 and requested to change the plan from post paid to prepaid relating my mobile no.[protected]. one of the executive says please come in next month for consideration of my request ,accordingly i meet the same executive and request same above.he registred my request in his computer and says come after two months, I have met same person and paid 25/-rupees as demand by the executive for prepaid sim .the sim number is H[protected] .even 20days gone my request is not consider. now i decided to go another net work for pre paid and also decided to file a petition in consumer court against youstore at vijayawadaVodafone — improper / excessive billing

The charging starts the moment I dial a number.
The Charging commences the moment I dial a number,
even when the party at the other end has not answered at all and when
I disconnect the call. This happens about 80% of the time.
This has been carrying on for over two months with no action taken on my
complaint bu customer care.
I had contacted one Mr Rajendran on [protected] Ext 4148 ten days ago.
He promised to look into it. It appears he is still LOOKING INTO IT.
Contacted him again today and he gave a Compl. Ref No.:[protected].
PROBLEM No.2: Customer Care No.111 caters only for Kannada speaking
people. Can some other number or mobile direct number be provided for
customer care for those who do not know Kannada?
My complaint has been registered vide the above complaint number.
Kindly see to it that the rectification is done within the due period
as set out by TRAI.

Vodafone — Repeated rejection of MNP porting request
As I am not satisfied with the service of Vodafone, on 24/02/11 I have given porting requests in respect of my mobile numbers [protected] & [protected] by sending SMS to 1900. After 10 days on 04/03/11 I got a SMS from Vodafone stating that my porting requests were rejected with the reason "number or range is in contracutal obligations". Immediately I have visited Vodafone Store at Churchgate, Mumbai and request to deactivate all value added services and other services which are coming under said contractual obligations so that my porting requests are accepted. I have waited for a week days, as my grivence is not redressed, I have sent a mail to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com rquesting them to deactivate all service which are required for honouring my porting requests in respect of above numbers. Thereafter I have lodged my complaint with the Nodal Officer of Vodafone vide my mails sent on 13/03/11, 17/11/11. As the Nodal Officer has also failed to redress my grievence, I have sent a mail on 18/03/11 to the Appellate Authority of Vodafone under copy to the Nodal Office and Vodafonecare. I have been suffered with lot of mental agoney with the deficiency of service coupled with non responsive attitude or Vodafone. I wanted to buy a vodafone postpaid number of my choice.I have tried every vodafone store for a new number starting form 999999**** but the excutive just ask to pay around Rs 15000 to Rs 21000 for a number which worth's Rs 250 as per vodafone scheme. Vodafone — mis directing
I AM HOLDING POSTPAID CONNECTION OF VODAFONE SINCE 2003 BEARING NO.[protected]I AM DOING COMMUNICATIONS AS WELL AS TRANSACTIONS ON MOBILE.
1. I WAS TRYING TO CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE FROM LAST ONE WEEK TO RESOLVE MY QUERY BY UN-BLOCKING "M-SHOP" ACCOUNT.ONCE THE EXECUTIVE HAS DIRECTED ME TO CONTACT TO MY CREDIT CARD CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE, WHEREIN I WAS TRYING TO TELL HIM THAT THERE IS CLEARLY MENTIONED TO CONTACT ON 111 IN THIS CONNECTION. INSTEAD OF LISTENING MORE, HE HAS DISCONNECTED MY LINE WITHOUT RESOLVING ISSUE.
2. I WROTE EMAIL TO VODAFONE NODAL OFFICER ON 14.03.2011 AND REPORTED THE SAME THING. HIS OFFICIAL HAS CONTACTED ME ON 18.03.2011 AND PROVIDED ME TWO PASSWORDS AND INFORMED ME TO ENTER THE SAME, AS MY ACCOUNT WILL BE ACTIVATED AFTER ENTERING PASSWORD OR IF ANY DIFFICULTY, MAY CONTACT ON 111.
I WAS CONTINUES TRYING TO CONTACT ON 111 AS WELL AS 198 TO REPORT THIS IRREGULARITY. BUT I COULD NOT CONNECTED WITH CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE SO FAR, AS IT IS POINTED OUT THAT AFTER ENTERING SPECIFIC DIGIT ON THE SYSTEM WHERE MENTIONED TO CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE OFFICER, LINE IS DISCONNECTED BY PASSING MESSAGE "YOU CAN NOT CONNECTED TO THE OFFICER AT MOMENT".
THERE IS ONE SYSTEM OF VODAFONE TO MAKE COMPLAINT ON 198 WHERE, COMPLAINT NUMBER IS PROVIDED, A PER THE NATURE OF COMPLIANT, BUT NOW A DAYS IT IS ALSO OBSERVED THAT NON TECHNICIAN STAFF ARE HANDLING CUSTOMERS THOSE ARE NOT HAVING BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR SYSTEM OF WORKING.
TODAY ITSELF I POSTED ONCE AGAIN MAIL TO THE NODAL OFFICER, VODAFONE, MUMBAI AND REPORTED THE NATTER.
IN THIS CONNECTION MAY PLEASE PROVIDE ME THE EMAIL ID OF TELECOMMUNICATION MINISTRY OF INDIA TO MAKE A COMPLAINT AGAINST SUCH IRREGULARITY.

Vodafone — Unauthorised Charges 9167924296
I had subscribed for Vodafone pre paid card. On Mar 12 without my consent the service provider activated news alert and deducted Rs 30. While contacting their customer care I realised that a call is charged 50 paisa for every 3 minutes. First of all one does not get connected and has to go through IVR messages. Once you have opted to speak to a representative you are informed about the call being charged. Then the customer is again put on hold. It is apparent that the motive is to ensure that minimum 3 minutes is charged.On successfully getting connected the representative informed that the activation of the service was initiated from users phone i.e. mine. This was surprising. I tried escalating the matter but, the representative was reluctant to transfer the call.After trying for an hour the call was transferred to another representative supposedly handling escalations. He repeated the same explanation given by his collegue which was annoying. I informed them of the poor service and the manner in which I was spoken to by previoius representatives and was informed that it will be investigated. I was also informed that they will arrange a call back to inform me about the investigation. Nothing happend.
Today I find another message informing that Business Economy pack has been activated on my request and Rs 30 has been deducted against the same. This is shocking.
Is this how Vodafone is making money ? Even after repeated attempts the customer service is not getting connected.There is no option of escalating the matter to senior personnel within Vodafone. What should a consumer do in such a case ??

later in the noon, i realised the negative balc was just increasing in number..n now its -40.80 . i called uo customer care n he said i hv to wait for 6 hrs coz wat he is updated with is just -8 rs..lol..
vodafone sucks.. really regretting getting converted to vodafone from idea..pathetic!

Vodafone — allot the sim without my own permission.
my name is shanky verma & my number is [protected].my complaint is that i have been using this number for last couple of years and just now i have ported this number to airtel to Vodafone provider.
and
just now vodafone alloted my sim card to any other person without my own permission.
Even i was using this number by my own legal identification but now this has been given to anyone else without any legal representaion.
so i want you to help me out from this unfairness; i do not know what to do now? & where to go?

Vodafone — Impractical Response
Sir,I am using Vodafone Prepaid services for the last one and a half years. In the month of December 2010, I officially called the customer service number for the activation of "DO NOT DISTURB" services, as I was receiving unaccounted promotional offers via SMS's unaccountable number of times.As per the norms of the service provider(Vodafone in this case), I was told me that they've acknowledged my case and the complaint has been registered. Hence, they also told me that in a time period of 45 Days, my service will be activated and I surely wont be receiving any such promotional offers.
Now, even after a time period of approximately Three(3) months, I still am receiving promotional messages. Trying to talk to the customer service representative numerous number of times didn't turn fruitful.
Here are some of the Account of Detailed word I've had with the representatives:
1. They ask me the details of the sms's like the number,address,company.
2. They tell me that even though my service has been activated, it might take a little more time.
3. Sorry for the inconvenience is something that I hear all the time.
4. Tell me to call some other no. and register my complaint again.
5. Simply hang up the call saying there's error in connection, or make me wait on the line for 15mins or more giving excuses that they'll check and let me know.
6.The other day when I called, the rep. said I called the post-paid Dept. and he'll transfer my call to the Pre-paid section, while the guy who answered the phone didn't even know which department he was on.
Sir, I work on a Night shift, so I need some sound sleep in the day. These issues have hampered my work, my peace of mind and is creating mental stress to me for the last couple of months.
