Vodafone / Mobile Phone (9836169589) — Unwanted Deduction of balance in the name of providing caller tune.

On 22-12-08 at around 17.47 hrs. a ring came to my phone and suddenly got disconnected itself without any presssing of button by me.

At around 18.42 hrs a message came that an amount of Rs.30/- had been deducted for activation of caller tune. When contacted to the customer care person at that time, the customer officer replied that confirmation swiitch has been pressed by me. When I insisted that no button has been pressed by me the customer care officer at that time told that my caller tune has been deactivated but the deducted balance of Rs.30/- will not be refunded. Further, at around 22 hrs my father contacted the customer care person about unfair deduction of the amount, he referred the matter to their customer care supervisor at that time. He replied that no balance will be refunded, we can complain anywhere, he does not bother.

Under the above circumstances I want the justice and seek intervention of your esteemed forum.

Caller Tune — Discontinuation of Caller Tune

I didn't opt for any caller tune and I got the message that they have deducted Rs.37/- for this service.

Kindly at the earliest discontinue the caller tune.

In future don't give me any caller tune and don't deduct any amount without our confirmation.

Vodafone — Rude Behaviour

I have my vodafone number [protected] and I have enrolled for a direct debit facility which somehow is not activated on my phone BUT an amount of Rs.1800/- gets deducted from my ICICI account.

I go to this Vodafone store in Borivli and there is an executive named Shahid Khatib who does know how to talk. I explained to him plus I showed him my statement that shows that Vodafone has debited Rs 1800/- whereas I am liable to pay only Rs 500 which somehow does not get included in that Rs 1800 which was charged to me. Now the catch is.

He is asking me to give him an original statement of ICICI which shows that transaction. I told him that I was asked to show him a bank statement printout which I have online by a vodafone executive that shows that I was charged Rs 1800. He saw my name and account ID and stuff but then asked me to get an original statement which I did not have. So i told him that I was asked to get this and give to you. And since I was not agreeing on getting the statement, he said to his colleague in front of me "forward it and let it get rejected". And it pissed me off. So i told him that rather then you doing something which may not help me, cancel my number. And this guy was shameless, he actually got a pen paper and asked me to write a letter to Vodafone.

This is so sad...I felt like bloody hitting him..how could he talk to a customer like that...And he was a RETENTION EXECUTIVE...Seems like he does not know what that means...Vodafone SUCKS...Bigtime...

I called customer care for 5 times.the call was disconnected all 5 times.never had a worst customer service and very difficult to get a CONNECTION.PROBABLY U CAN STOP DOING THE BUSINESS.
