i have been calling to customer care since 2 weeks to activate gp[rs to my mobile and there is no response from them my number is [protected]
Same problem here! I purchased Vodafone Prepaid card on Sat, Mar 19, 2011 and it got activated after 2 days on Tues, Mar 22, 2011.
Then I tried to activate the Vodafone Live 99 pack that gives 2GB data (GPRS access) for 30 days. Sent an sms "ACT VL99" to 111 to activate the plan. Got a reply "Tour request for Rs99 GPRS browsing pack was not completed due to insufficient balance. Manintain minimum Rs 99 balance" even though I had a talktime balance of Rs. 450!

Vodafone Prepaid — not activating a plan since 25 days
Respected sir,I, "syed hasin akhtar" resident of Jp nagar, 6th phase, 2nd cross, house #90, Bangalore 78, want to file a complaint regarding vodafone prepaid activation of "149" plan. I recharged on "30th of august 2009", and the plan has not yet been activated. I have called the customer care daily and everyday i get the same answer that it ll be activated within 24 hours. I talked to the executives as well as team leaders but all of them say the same thing. Some of them even guaranteed me that it will be done within 2 hours. My previous plan was a "lifetime" plan in which i was charged 1 rupee rental daily. After activating "149" plan also, i was charged rentals and my balance went zero. i am not working anywhere now and facing a lot problem because of this. The customer care people don't respond properly to my calls. Please be helpful enough to punish them for doing this to me without any good reasons. My mobile number is "[protected]".
