Sir / Madam,
I am a vodafone prepaid mobile customer staying at Kalyan,
My Mobile No. is : [protected] ( Name : A. Subramanian )

I used to receive calls and sms from Vodafone and other companies for promotional schemes etc. And for this, they used to debit my prepaid
account for Rs. 5/- to Rs. 30/- as per their charges.

After discussing with Ms. Anita Dhumsingh Rathod and Mr. Rizwan from Vodafone Customer Care, I activated DND in order to stop receiving such unwanted promotional calls & sms. ( DND 0 message sent by me to 1909 on 7-3-2011 at 12:17:18 p.m. and accepted by Vodafone on 7-3-2011 at 12:42:05 ).

I was told that within 7 days, the DND service will be activated.
However, they are still deducting Rs. 5/- every day from my prepaid balance for
"Sawal 20 Lakh ka" and such type of things.

I want to stop receiving such type of messages and calls which unnecessarily
disturb me and also reduces my mobile balance.

Please do the needful at your earliest and oblige.

Vodafone — unwanted GPRS

I m Pankaj Kumar, mobile no. [protected] having no need of GPRS, but your company activated it two or three times without any request frm my side and deducted/ charged Rs. 50 every time unethically & unlawfully. the same was not even used by me.

also, there is One more problem in my another mobile No. [protected] ( being used by my brother Nerraj Kumar),

you have activated "Bhakti Sagar" music service on this number again, without any request from me or my brother, the details as follows:

17 Apr to 18 May
19 May to 19 June
19 June to 19 July
20 Oct to 20 Nov
20 Nov till now

it is interesting to note that the service is deactivated and activated again in quick succession on the very next day and again charges are levied, whereas the said services are not of any use to me or my brother and both o[censored]s do not want to avail of the said servce and request you to cancel/ deactivate the said services from both the mobile numbers with immediate effect and further refund/ recharge the mobile numbers with the amount that has been unnecessarily deducted from our account as this is highly unfair and unfrinedly practice on the part of the company. The consumers are made to suffer and bear charges for no fault of theirs. the consumers are being taken for ride by the company as we are having a prepaid connection and you deduct the charges staright away, without any confirmation/ request from the consumers, which may be due to your faulty systems.

The said practices have not only cause me financial loss, but have unnecessarily caused my anguish and harrassment, and i am compelled to rethink over my association with your company for your such practices.


plz do the needful asap, else we shall be constrained to take up the matter with higher authorities, including any legal action for the blatant unfair practices on your part.

Vodafone — UNWANTED FACILITIES AND DEBITING MY ACCOUNT

vodofone/ prepaid mobile — unnecessary charges debited

on 12/10/2008 i rcvd a phone from vodafone department regardind caller tune information and i was just hearing for a minute without touching any button in my mobile, finally they told that thanks for opting this usage and debited rs 30/- for the usage which i never like that.
then i spoke to customer care they told me u might have opted, but definetly i didnt opt that facility, then i asked to deactivate that facility, even though i have unnecessarily loose 30RSfor that,
my mobile number is[protected], now i also opted the facility of donot disturb
in this case can i claim for the amt to rrefund in my a/c

Vodafone — Unwanted GPRS, pramotional calls and messages activation

I am a very old Pre- paid consumer of vodafone telecom services using phone no. [protected]. My GPRS has been activated since May 2009 without any request from my side and every month again it get activated and deduct my balance automatically. I do not need this facility of GPRS at all and also i never use it.
Anther complain is that I receive many unwanted promotional calls and vulgar SMS which is really not tolerable. Being a Government Employee while important meeting I receive vulgar massages which is really shameful. Since i am not a technical person it is difficult to understand how to get rid of above mentioned problems. Several times i call Customer Care but they are unable to solve my problem. So I request to Stop GPRS and Unwanted promotional calls and messages from my mobile so that I may able to get facilities of vodafone mobile as per my comfort.

Vodafone Prepaid Mobile Service — Debit of charges for unwanted services

Vodafone has debited my Prepaid Mobile account ([protected]) in the name of some unwanted service. At night (10.59pm)on 11.11.2010, I got a msg-Your Daily News has been activated, as per your request. and some charges were debited to my account. I confirm that I had not sent any request. I complained this to Vodafonecare and requested for reversal of charges debited. They replied the the service was activated at my request, and thy will not reverse the charges. This is very disgusting to know and I feel cheated.

I wish to inform you that similar deduction was done for my other mobile no-[protected] in the name of MCI charges on 20th or 21st August. However, then the charges were reversed at my request.

I alsowish to inform you that there was a call fromVodafone on 13th Nov (approx10.00am) regarding conversion of my Prepaid mobile to Post paid.
Its Executive tried to convince me by telling the drawbacks of Prepaid mobile service, He said that some Charges are being deducted in the name of some services (and said- Usually customers are unaware of this), In case of Post paid mobile service such deductions wont happen.
The whole conversation must be recorede and can be verified at Vodafone.

We request you to look into it and make some arrangement so the the companies may not use Unfair means and debit the customers accounrt.

      Since 05th March 2011 to 09th March 2011, afternoon (time 02:36 P.M), I have not received any solution from the all concerned deptts. It is really very bad, shame and unbeleivable for the all concerned. Now I request you to kindly compensate my all expenses. Becuase of incorrect/wrong and non transparent Vodafone system + useless and very poor communication, I have already lost and wasted a lot of money, time and actual loss of study, for which I had taken this pack/connection. I donot have excess money for Vodafone. I have decided to withdraw my relationship with Vodafone. Now I donot want to get it activated the same.

      I would also let you know something more in details about Vodafone:
      1.. That, during the this problem, I wasted hours in communication at 111 and [protected] dialling from my Vodafone no., for for explaining my problem, but still I could not communicate on these nos. The pre-recorded messages are keep on repeating in a loop. Then I dialed from other no, i could able to talk at [protected]. This is also there policy for earning, which is not justifyable/correct.

      2. Based on the Vodafone executive instructions, I have followed accordingly (by recharging and waiting for activation of services) but still it was not activated. Again I got the same msg that you used internet before the activation. Please ask to VODAFONE How many months / years will take to activate this Pack.

      2. As I had purchased the Vodafone Data card device and paid already lot of money for the 2GB pack activation/internet, because of that, I am running behind for Vodafone. Otherwise there are many other providers who are offering good services in cheaper rates now. But due to the data card which I have purchased, I am trying to be with Vodafone. But now I may not be more with Vodafone.

      3. I had also noticed during the visits time at VODAFONE stores, I also found others who were facing this kind of problem, but they might not communicate as I am doing.

      4. Now sir, I would like to ask for compensation of the same (the problem which I have faced becuase of VODAFONE services) from VODAFONE (IData Card value + Recharges value + time + harasmen all) and you decide the same, by understaing the problem in deeply.

      5. Finally, it is the choice of VODAFONE and your (authorities instructions) to VODAFONE that you would like to keep me with Vodafone or not. The customer will find out their other way, if he is facing problem (in terms of communication services or network services or cheaper services).

      I have just informed you the status of VODAFONE services. Again it is upto you (The higher authorities, who provides the licenses) that how you will handle this. I have done a lot from my side.

      Kindly look into the matter and request you to take necessary actions against VODAFONE.
      In short, I would like to state as below:-
      1. First Recharge 2GB Pack in Rs. 95 on 21st Feb. 2011 at 10:30 A,M.
      2. Since that period, I am running behind (through e-mails, visiting to the stores, customer cares, nodal officers, Appealing authority etc at all places) Vodafone for 2GB Internet Service activation. But could not get till today the 2GB Pack activated.
      3. As per vodafone cheating, in between I have got 5~6 time recharged due to the negative accounts happened, even without usage of my internet.
      4. Last 2 days back, I again went at Vodafone stores at Gurgaon (Palam Vihar) and their I came to know that the VMC is activated. I got the messages also for 2GB usages. But today 05 March 2011, I am again not able to use the Internet because of the negative account.
      5. After that I communicated at [protected] customer care, there I found that the 2GB plan was not activated and because I used internet from since 2 days so the account went in Negative. I am very much disappointed with the kind of activities by Vodafone. It is horrible.
      6. I have already wasted a lot of money, time and harrasment to get this internet service/pack. But till today from 21st Feb 2011 to 05th March 2011 (12 days passed) I could not get the same.
      7. In todays time, if they are providing this kind of services to customer, they should not be in the field of customer services. As per my experience had with Vodafone, in customer services it is 0% while having the all facilities of communication.
      8. The Vodafone is cheating me (customer). Because I had taken the Rs. 95 internet 2Gb Pack but I have paid around 10 times more by cash and here I am not adding my precious time and problem faced due to the same.
      9. Vodaone systems are not transparent and nor able to provide the services to customer. From top to bottom, all are useless for me. If this is the case, then the Vodafone does not qualify for these kind of service providers. This is all not acceptable.


      I request you to review my case and take appropriate actions against VODAFONE and also request you to arrange the activation of my 2GB internet pack alongwith my all recharges reverse which I have done without my usage of internet, without any more delay. I have been cheated by VODAFONE and push me in problems a lot.

      According to your system, I never will be able to keep my account in positive, it is like an open way from one side I keep on recharge and other side it will go (will not accumulate) without my usage. You are not for Happy to help you are only happy to make trouble. I am so much in angry with Vodafone. that if I will get any body I will hang them. You people have only two answer that it will take 24 hours to activate the service or your account is in negative. But the root cause for this is only VODAFONE system / all executive/seniors / management. You are not liable in any category. From your all activities, I have understood that I shoudl earn for VODAFONE. They are now like a rich beggar you people are froud and big cheater. Now I will not leave you as it is . I will file a case on Consumer court regarding the same. I am so much disturbbed because of VODAFONE, I myself has fired to my children. Because they asked me about the services of internet access for their study. But I had no answer and I was pushing to myself. It is all happening becuase of VODAFONE. You people donot understand the feeling and trouble. You all "from bottom to Top at VOdafone" stand on my place and feel them. What is a problem . I have seen the VODAFONE. Now you have crossed the all barriers of my patience. You all are useless. I ahve also understood that you are shameless and you will not understand anybody's situation.       used only USE 144 to get the msg only. I did not use your internet.

      I have requested to your executive to make it correct. I am also requesting
      you to make it correct and start my services. Please underatnd that I did
      not use it if it is used by system, then I can say that your system is
      cheater.

      Please note that If you also would be unable to do so then please understand
      that you will loose your one customer. Because I am cheated by you. You must
      listen your customer;s problem. As I have already purchased 2GB pack. So in
      this case, I can thick for one month but later on I will search for the new
      way.

      Please look into the matter and request to do the needful.

        In short, I would like to state as below:-
        1. First Recharge 2GB Pack in Rs. 95 on 21st Feb. 2011 at 10:30 A,M.
        2. Since that period, I am running behind (through e-mails, visiting to the stores, customer cares, nodal officers, Appealing authority etc at all places) Vodafone for 2GB Internet Service activation. But could not get till today the 2GB Pack activated.
        3. As per vodafone cheating, in between I have got 5~6 time recharged due to the negative accounts happened, even without usage of my internet.
        4. Last 2 days back, I again went at Vodafone stores at Gurgaon (Palam Vihar) and their I came to know that the VMC is activated. I got the messages also for 2GB usages. But today 05 March 2011, I am again not able to use the Internet because of the negative account.
        5. After that I communicated at [protected] customer care, there I found that the 2GB plan was not activated and because I used internet from since 2 days so the account went in Negative. I am very much disappointed with the kind of activities by Vodafone. It is horrible.
        6. I have already wasted a lot of money, time and harrasment to get this internet service/pack. But till today from 21st Feb 2011 to 05th March 2011 (12 days passed) I could not get the same.
        7. In todays time, if they are providing this kind of services to customer, they should not be in the field of customer services. As per my experience had with Vodafone, in customer services it is 0% while having the all facilities of communication.
        8. The Vodafone is cheating me (customer). Because I had taken the Rs. 95 internet 2Gb Pack but I have paid around 10 times more by cash and here I am not adding my precious time and problem faced due to the same.
        9. Vodaone systems are not transparent and nor able to provide the services to customer. From top to bottom, all are useless for me. If this is the case, then the Vodafone does not qualify for these kind of service providers. This is all not acceptable.


        I request you to review my case and take appropriate actions against VODAFONE and also request you to arrange the activation of my 2GB internet pack alongwith my all recharges reverse which I have done without my usage of internet, without any more delay. I have been cheated by VODAFONE and push me in problems a lot.

        Note: I have written to all higher authorities in this regards, but unable to get any reply / solution. All are sleeping. There are no feedback given to customer.

        Request to all who are responsible and authorised to review this case and resolve this.

        Hope for a quick actions.

          Vodafone started 3G services in Mundra for trial base. i and my friend both applies for that but my friend got his 3G service activated or i am still not. i applied on 05/03/2011. Since 07/03/2011 i am calling in customer care but they just listen my problem not doing anything they just saying that we activate your service soon.

          My handset is also 3G enable. i am using Sony Ericsson W705a.

            I am using post paid mobile service of Vodafone from last four years but I want to disconnect the service from Vodafone mobile that why I visited to Vodafone store to disconnection the service as on 26th November 2010 & submit the disconnection form & payment dues as per instruction by the executive of Vodafone & after applying of same service must be discontinue with in maximum 4 days but still my mobile connection is not discontinued till date (18/03/2011) I was mailed to Vodafone mail Id provided by them as on 07/12/2010 but I am not getting any reply from them I also spoke with customer care & executive on phone several time towards disconnection but every one give me only as surety & false commitment towards disconnection, and Vodafone send me bill every month (rental +service tax late payment charges) where as I am not using Vodafone service from 26/11/2011. Please guide me what I do.

            Vodafone mobile — Disconnection of Mobile#

            To start with, frankly speaking this has been the worst customer service experience I ever faced with Vodafone, or with any of the cellular companies. It has been pain in the neck for me for the past several months for getting my mobile number disconnected. I am sorry to use these words, but this is true.

            I have been trying to disconnect my mobile connection #[protected]Relationship No#1.[protected] that I hold with Vodafone, issued from Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. I left Vizag in mid of Aug 2008 due to change of my job (to a foreign country), but was not sure whether I would come back or not, hence did not get my number disconnected. However, when it was confirmed that I would not return to Vizag, I sent a request through an email to Vodafone (Please refer to the attached emails below for details), as I personally can not come to surrender/close the account. In addition to that I requested my friend Vinesh kumar and Panth to look into the matter as well. However, all my efforts went in vain as you guys never made any effort to look in to the matter at all. After my return to India (Delhi), on 16th October I visited your Vodafone Store in Rajouri Garden, to get the number disconnected and made an excess payment of Rs. 900 as on that date, so that there are no more headaches. However, they were so happy to help me and inform that I have to personally go to Vizag for disconnecting the number. I felt as if I was living in the 18th century. Now this does not make sense for just disconnecting the number I need to be physically present. This is the period where things happen online, but looks Vodafone is still living in the old era. Amazing!!!

            I AM NOT A TERRORIST OR A CRIMINAL using your mobile services for illegal activity. I am not requesting for a new connection, rather for disconnecting the service. WHY DON’T YOU UNDESTAND THIS SIMPLE THING. Just for your information, as on date/time (Nov 23, 2008 at 2:35 pm) the number is still not disconnected.

            Mr. Rizwan, I am not sure whether you remember or not, but during the 2nd week of Aug 2008, I came to you and asked you about the formalities of getting the number disconnected and changing the ownership. Moreover, one of my friends Mr. Panth did meet you regarding this issue as well.

            Now as I am not using this connection any more, it is totally up to you whether you want to disconnect it or send me a bill every month.

              Hi,

              I was holding a Vodafone number in 2003 / 2004 onwards.. I never used to check my bill details thinking there will not be fake amout charged by such a highly reputed Mobile Service Provider.

              In 2006 - Oct onwards my bills amount started showing very high. I observed it happened continuosly for 3 to 4 months. After that I went back and saw all the bill details from Oct to Jan. I noticed my bill was showing the call charges repeatative. Example, whatever call charges were shown in Oct, the same call charges were shown in Nov and were inclusded in the total bill amout.

              I simply discontinued the number and paid somewhere arround 5000 rs that time ( I had to pay approx 7000 Rs ). I had gone to the Vashi VF showroom and had asked them to verify the bills and correct the same.
              Nothing happened from their side and now they are following up with me to pay 5000 rs ( the 2000 rs has now increased to 5000 rs as the time passed).

              I got a leagal notice to pay the same. I have reported my issue atleast 10 times when they used to call me on my mobile.

              Looking out for the help and sort this issue.

              I have received a Bill from vodafone for the Month of December, 2010 against Bill No. [protected] dtd:[protected] for the period from 28-11-10 to 27-12-10
              in this bill vodafone have charged me Rs. 3,282.00 for SMS to special number 139 which is for the railway enquiry & the sms count is 1094 in a day. I would like to inform you that I have never send any sms to any special numebrs during this period.

              As I have talk to vodafone executive manytimes, even visit to nearest vodafone store to get the positive result however they are forcing me to pay the entire amount which they have charged me

                    I am writing this mail finally after i got fed up calling Vodafone customer care people 6 times in the last 10 days regarding an issue without a solution.

                    My Issue:

                    I was using this number in reliance network until i switched over to Vodafone under MNP 2 weeks back. When i was in reliance i had been receiving a lot of promotional calls which was irritating a lot, which forced me to switch over to other network.

                    Even after swithing over to Vodafone i had been receiving the same promotional call from RELIANCE. I called up Vodafone customer care and informed the issue 10 days back. They told me that the issue will be solved quickly. But still after 10 days the issue is not yet solved. Yesterday (14.03.2011) i called up vodafone customer care for the 6th time and informed them. Still the same without a solution. Today i tried to call Vodafone customer care to inform about the same issue, but they have completely blocked access to my mobile number from calling them and they are flooding my mobile with a lot of Push message to subscribe to their services.

                    I didnt expect this kind of irresponsibility from Vodafone customer care people. I am totally fed up with this issue and finally thinking of moving to Consumer court.

                    I am looking for a response from you at the earliest.

                    Vodafone — Irresponsible people

                    I earlier was using Vodafone Postpaid connection. Sometimes later I called up the customer care and informed them that i am going out of state and would like to cancel the connection. I also sent a mail to them a number of times stating them that i wish to discontinue their vodafone services and abandon the number.

                    After two months, to my surprise, i started getting bills to my old address and also i got mails frequently to pay the money for those two months which i had not used the SIM. It is only the monthly rental. I replied them via email that i have already requested them to discontinue the services and i wil not be responsible for the bills generated after the request.

                    However, they replied that they had called me on my new mobile number and verified if i really want to drop the Vodafone SIM. Since i was in traffic, i didnot hear anything clearly and told them " Yes". Taking this into account they had not cancelled my Connection and started sending bills.

                    Till now its 5 months and they are not bothered about my request for de-activation but sending me bills every months. What to do..? This really annoys me. And i would like to register a complaint against Vodafone to the consumer court. Is it possible..?? Can any one suggest me what to do inorder to register a complaint?

                          Now when I am taking Blackberry services from Airtel...they are saying ask Vodafone to release your PIN from the server which is already associated with Vodafone.

                            Vodafone is rejecting MNP without any proper reasons. It had rejected 5 times till now with reason as “Porting code doesn’t match”.
                            With repeated follow ups, with latest UPC VA259862 (mobile number [protected]) they now rejected saying “The number or range is in contractual obligations..”.
                            While getting Vodafone connection I never filled any fancy number request and this number [protected] is not a fancy which was confirmed by Vaishali (nodal officer). Also I did not sign any agreement while getting the connection. My other number [protected] already ported out to Idea with same corporate plan.
                            I am really unhappy with the way Vodafone is handling this. Kindly help me in resolving this so that I can port out.

                                Vodafone — horrible customer support from day 1

                                This is jeevanantham. i got voda prepaid connection on 12 Apr 08. I have recharged bonus card @ Rs 75 for converting all STD calls @ 1 Rs/m on 13 Apr 08 at about 09 30 AM. Till time (17 Apr 08) i have not received any reponse regarding that, nor i have received any message from vodafone Essar ltd. i have contacted customer care regarding this, on 13 Apr 08 they told it will be activated soon, but now it is almost 5 days past, i have not received any message regarding this. Monday morning onwards i am trying to contact customer care (111), but when i press the key (9) for talk to customer services, again the main menu is option is coming, call not get connect with customer executive and the same story is repeating when ever i am trying to contact customer executive. So i am unable to contact cutomer service from last 5 days. Then imagine, what is the standard of customer support vodafone is maintaining.

                                Then i try to contact nodal officer gurpreet through his phone no. [protected] almost 20 times but every time recorded voice says i cannot contact him this time. Then i try to contact his next authority officer sanjay on his phone no. [protected] many time, but only ringing no reply. so i advice new customer to get away from voda.

                                after sending lot many complaits to vodafone i am sending this to u all.
                                I agree with the complaint. They do not provide good customer support.

                                I called the above highlighted number on the same day that i want the number. I dont remember the name of the person i spoke with but he sent an executive on the same day evening. I made a payment of rs.300 to that executive and he said that i would receive the bill as well as Sim Card within 2 days. But 2weeks have already passed and still i'm waiting to receive the sim card. The executive's mobile number is [protected]. When i tried calling these number neither of them gave me a proper response and they even dont answer my calls. I'm frustated of calling them. Please help me. I never expected such a response from anyone related to Vodafone.

                                i received a call from airtell collection department. girl name was "ritu".she was calling frm plot no AIRTELL COLLECTION PLOT NO 224 OKHLA INDUSTRIAL AREA PH I. Nahar. i denied then ashe start talking rudly tht im his realtive and i knw about him, i cut the fone the she again called me and start abusing about my mother and father,

                                I am Ashok Kumar Mishra and I took one Vodafone post-paid connection no. [protected] a month and a half back. Since then, I am suffering from frequent outgoing calls barrings without any valid reasons.My outgoing calls are barred even before bills have reached me. I was told so many good and rosy things about the services of Vodafone when I was subscribing to it. But, after a month and a half my experiences are very bitter. Due to whimsical actions of Vodafone, I have lost my valuble clients. I talked to their customer care but that is completely useless and inactive place to talk to. No one cares for the customers and there is no value of customers in Vodafone. It is natural for anybody to understand that his connection will be intact at least till the due date for submission of the bills but this simple fact is beyond the understanding power of Vodafone. Calls are barred even before the bills reach to the customers. Extremly poor service! My outgoing calls have been barred yesterday for the second time and no bill has reached me till now. I have come to know from customer care that my bill has been sent to me and due date of submission is 21.02.09. Then I want to know why my outgoing calls have been barred.Vodafone has the worst services I have ever come across.

                                AirTel — Abusing language used

                                Dear Sir,

                                I had paid an amount of Rs1200 for landline no [protected] fo a verbal
                                commitment of activation of the same line within 24 hours. Further it was also
                                commited for a waver of outstanding amount. Moreover they told me when ever any
                                waver is required anybody can contact them on the same landline and they are
                                capable to do it only after 45 days.
                                I was told that the call was from Airtel corporate office Noida. It has been 15
                                days that no action has been traken. Further now when I am trying to discuss
                                the same on the landline from where I got the initial call the concerned girl
                                is absuing very badly and asking me to do what ever I can do. Now they are
                                disconnecting my call.

                                I want to change my vodafone number to change to Airtel because vodafone cheated me and cut 83/- Rupees from my account and explaining that i have used GPRS for 83/-Rupees excess from my 98 Plan of 4GB, and now showing Rs Minus -53/-Balance.

                                I have lodged complaint in Custommer care and nodal Agency Ms Rashmi of [protected] but no solution. Only saying that i have excess used. Did vodafone give credit to such extend...

                                Dated 26.04.11 it shown a minus of Rs Minus 10.53 paise as balance. while recharged again in Rs 98 GPRS pack on Dated 27.04.11 without any use, it shows Rs Minus 53.00.

                                Good new for vodafone GPRS users. They are relable to custommer and offering many 100 rupees in GPRS. Use gprs of Minus 100/- Rs -and after use and throw away the sim.

                                Vodafone — frequent disconnection of service

                                since we have changed tata indicom sim card to vodafone by number portability service as we have heard that vodafone service is a best service in the world but after using that we we thougt we have done a big mistek by using this service although we have submitted all the imp. documents necessary for vodafone service also paying bills without delaying hence we do not get ur service promptly very frequent disconnection of service in this number [protected]. this hapeens lots of times also we do not get good network in our residence this causes inconvenience in our bussines n contacts
                                this my kindly request that my plz check ur system n make some necessary arrengments to provide best service without any disconections.

                                Vodafone — Gives Bad Words On Call

                                Vodafone Agents Uses Bad Words On Call. and If I Complaint No Revert. I made a complaint to their VP Ajay Jain from there the revert comes that his agent has not used any bad words on call.....I told them that give me this in wriiten and i have call recording I will go ahead with Complaint But Still No revert.

                                I have recently done MNP (mobile number portability) to Vodafone from Airtel and I had been a customer for Airtel for 5 Years however this kind of harassment never happened to me. I think i have made the worst decision of my life wherein i have switched to Vodafone. I called Vodafone customer care to activate my 3G data plan for 650 and then had to call them 3 more time to get the service finally activated. Then i lost my unfortunately lost my iPhone and had to get the 3G data plan deactivated BUT these guys are hungry of money and will never deactivate any services. It has been several days when i have been trying to connect with the so called Vodafone care and never get to the customer care. Last week a customer care guy - Deepak ([protected]) called me for a services feedback and i told him my problem. Vodafone customer care people are not at all professional and use abusive language on calls. He told me that i was barred from calling customer care automatically because i called them 5 times in one day.
                                If I am paying for calling the customer care people then why will I call them uselessly? Vodafone customer care people are destined to make the customer suffer. I also asked him if there is an alternative and I need to get this 650 3G data plan deactivated. He said it is very SIMPLE. Just sms CAN 3G to 111. When I do that I always get a response saying-
                                YOU ARE CURRENTLY ACTIVE ONA 3G DATA PACK. 3G SERVICE CANNOT BE DEACTIVATED. FOR MORE INFO VISIT: http://m.vodafone.in/3G_service
                                This is an infinite loop that I am in since last week and i am getting harassed. I am so sad that i left my favorite superb service provider AIRTEL just for cheaper call rate and cheapest service and very cheap Vodafone customer care people are not at all professional, use abusive language on calls and disconnect calls on customers face several times.
                                My advice to all my friends is Please Please Please never switch to Vodafone as they are providing customers with hell care.

                                I am Ryan ( Name Changed ). I am frequently getting calls from this number - [protected].. And most of the time i pick the call no one answers and it says that customer executive cant speak to you now. And some other time someone picks up the call and speaks for a few seconds and then the call gets disconnected automatically.

                                I am really fed up with these calls don't know what to do. I even called the customer care about this issue. Even they are not sure if this is Vodafone's number or not. This is really disgusting. And i have this app called True Caller installed in my cell phone and it says that "VODAFONE RECEIVE" is calling. What the Hell.

                                I kindly request to all, that if someone is facing this similar kind of problem then do share it here and if anyone gets the solution to it then do please post it here.

                                And for sure i am gonna drop with the Vodafone and switch to some other service provider may be Airtel or Idea. But no to Vodafone the damn service provider don't have any support to it's customers.

                                Ryan, the same issue is with me. I called back the number but received the response as invalid number. Don't know why, but vodafone is getting worst in terms of C.care, Network strength as well as net speed.

                                  Even after repeated communications and the USB surrender receipt letter to Vodafone, a call lands up from Vodafone Customer Care and says the line needs to be disconnected.
                                  He says for a usage of 376 MB the Bill has been 1328.24 INR where it is mentioned in the Bill that 10GB usage is free for a Rental of 499.00 INR.

                                  I am aghast as to what these Vodafone people are upto. Why Vodafone will not pay for the harassment caused to me where I had visited the Vodafone Store 3 times in 4 days post taking the connection and repeated calls to Vodafone Customer Care and Technical helpdesk as to why the connection was not working.

                                  This is strange and needs to be addressed to stop this nonsense people cheating business.

                                  I had purchased a postpaid Rs.499/- monthly rental Vodafone USB modem

                                  operational on 25.02.11. The device again became non operational on
                                  26.02.11. I had tried to contact Vodafone Customer Care but in vain. I
                                  visited the Vodafone Store at Park Street - Kolkata on 27.02.11 and
                                  the device became operational on the same day. I had used the device
                                  that evening after returning home but speed was very slow. Again the
                                  device got non-operational on 28.01.11. I visited the same Park Street
                                  Vodafone Store on 29.02.11 and surrendered the connection with a
                                  letter.
                                  Now I have received a Bill on 14.03.11 of Amount Rs. 1328.24 (Bill No.

                                  Vodafone Broadband USB — Cost of USB Stick No 9836177796 not Returned

                                  Dear Sir / Madam,

                                  I had complained earlier regarding Extraordinary Billing on this No. I was assured by Vodafone that the problem would be resolved and on returning of the USB Stick at Vodafone Alipore Store, I would be refunded the Stick and Initial cost.I had returned the stick, however I still have not received the money.

                                    On 6th march'11, i requested for porting code for my no.[protected] to port out from vodafone and i got that. then on 9th march, i get one call from vodafone care asking about the reson for port out, then they offerd me one offer and requests to cacell the porting code and said that the offer will be activated within 48 hours, accordingly i cancelled that code, but that offer was activated even after 10 days. on contacting customer care, they launched complaint but even after expiry of resolution time, my problem has not been solved. even, after launching complaint, they have not contacted me to know my difficulties. now, i m not getting new portout code.
                                    mobile companies should stop such type of tactics to loot customers.

                                        I am a vodafone prepaid lifetime subscriber . For the last 2 months I noticed that vodafone deduct Rs. 1/- from my account everyday, reason is " MCI Service rental has been deducted monthly charge Rs. 30 " without my consent . When I try to contact helpline they are not answering my call.

                                        VODAFONE KOLKATA — Irregularities in monthly bills

                                        I was charged for service that I never used. I started receiving messages for free download of songs on my mobile. However, I never downloaded any. To my surprise, I recieved a charges of Rs.175 in the subsequent bill. I registered a complaint on 23rd of june to get this verified and stop this. I received the same bill charges added again for the june and July bills too. I have asked for these amounts to be credited to my account and Vodafone has not taken care of this in last so many days. To add to my injuries now they have disconnected my connection for non payment of bill. I would like to know how far is this justified?
                                        Same thing happened to me also. MCA activated without my consent and despite my repeated request by sms sent to 321 for deactivation of Miss call alert no response from the company and an amount of Rs. 30.00 is being deducting every month. Once again it is requested to deactivate the MCA and refund the amount deducted from my vodafone prepaid account please.
