The reason being is that i am quite fed up with the services provided by the vodafone store. Today i went to vodafone store Delhi/peeragarhi for number portability. But After waiting a long hour , One of the employee of vodafone named Mr. Nadeem call another customer irrespective of their numbers in the queue. When i said that sir its my turn he simply said , in rude manner that sit here for 10 minutes .
Then Mr Nadeem said on my turn that sir we don't have number portability form and come tomorrow. Then i said will you please call you senior and even after that no one came to resolve my problem. Then i went to cabin of Mr. Sachin Verma a team leader in vodafone center. The same answer i got from them and then i said will you please confirm that tomorrow i will get number portability form. He again said that you need to come tomorrow but there is no surity. And even after that he also that if you are going to complain anywhere , i don't care and all the complains are forwarded to us only. I was very much shocked after getting this response from vodafone store peeragarhi.

I am looking forward to resolve this problem.

Thanks and regards

    Hi,

I have submitted all the required documents to airtel to migrate from Vodafone postpaid to airtel postpaid and got the SIM as well. But number is not yet ported to airtel. When i called airtel for the first time they said my request has been rejected saying "UPC is invalid" and they asked me to contact Vodafone. When i contacted Vodafone they said i have not paid my billed amount, so they have not yet started the process. After i paid the bill they have started the process and asked me to wait for 7 days, but now they are telling i am in a different plan(CUG, Enterprise 99 plan),so i have to move back to regular plan then only they can port the number. But according to TRAI there is no rule about the Tarif plans. Looks like Vodafone is fooling customers. Please look into this issue.

    Thanks,
    Mahesh

I have been using vodafone no [protected] for past 3 years. All these 3 years vodafone has troubled me a lot. I had bought campus pack. Without any notice my campus pack was converted to normal card. One particular day they even stopped my no saying me that this no has been given to someone else. And I hav to buy a new no. After complaining to senior department I got my same no. Now with the introduction of mobile no portability I have decided to move to airtel because retaining the no is o[censored]tmost importance to me. I fillef mnp form in airtel after getting code from vodafone. Today morning I get msg frm vodafone that I cannot port because vodafone has given me some free minutes and the reason they cited was contractual obligitatoons. Firstly I never asked for free minutes. Now when I called helpline around 8 times they have been just transferring my calls without any assistamce. Requesting you to please look into the matter at earliest. Thanks. Maroof fajandar

My mobile number porting request was rejected by Vodafone.
          Vodafone rejecting my MNP application
I am using vf no [protected] TN for the last 2 yrs . And i want to change my mobile operator Through mobile number portability from vf to Tata Docomo.

But i received a message from from vf rejecting my porting . Because of Contractual obligation. Actually in my case there is no contractual obligation with VF because mine was an individual normal postpaid connection. Called VF CC but they are not responding my query, rather asked me questions as to why I am porting .MNP is a customer right. but here vf is denying that right for me.

          Please Help

I am not the only one who is suffer of the Bulk SMS service provided by the Mobile operators. Here anybody can register to there site and send messages to innocent peoples. They are breaking the the Law of "Do Not Disturb" service as well.
The Mobile service providers don't even thing about that the person is register to DND service or not.

I get frustrated from these messages, around 5--15 messages a day comes from different Bulk SMS services, having header like TM-YYYY, AD-YYY, TD-YYYY.
The mostly messages comes from the real estate advertising there Plots/Flats.
Somebody says that the buy our powersaver, and you don't imaging recently I have started receiving messages from fraud institute or instituation like higher study, loan, fraud lottery sms, FInd girl in your neighbour which irritating lot when I am in my office or my family as well.

The messages comes from the BulkSMS service , we can't even contact them to stop sending this stupid things,

These stupid messages can lead to person's death in case of driving.

              Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a Vodafone mobile connection [protected] which I wish to port on Reliance communication. On 29/01/201, I submit the application along with all required documents at Reliance branch. On the same day I got SMS from Relianace and Vodafone as follows:

              From Reliance:
              [protected]----
"Dear Customer, we have received your request to enroll mobile no. 98113756t55 in Reliance Network. It will be processed shortly. Reliance".

              From Vodafone:
              [protected]----
"Hello! we have received your Porting Request VD119893 dated 29jan 11. We will validate your request and will revert on confirmation by 96hrs TAT from the time we received the request from MCH"

On 03/02/2011, I got another SMS from vodafone confirming the approval of my request as follows:
"Hello! Your Porting Request VD119893 dated 29jan 11 has been approved. We will communicate the Porting date and time shortly"

After that SMS my SIM is deactived by Vodafone and the SIM provided by Reliance is still in Inactive state. I called the Vodafone customer care to lodge a complaint but CCR refused to lodge and told me that everything is fine and submitted from Vodafone end. So please contact Reliance. When I contacted Reliance Sector 14 branch they told me that there is issue at MNP authority and they are trying best and following the case with MNP authority. As per Reliance guys he can not commit the timeline when this issue would be resolved as this issue is not at there end. Even that CCR guy showed me his mobile and facing the same issue (invalid SIM )

Could you please let me know where I can register my complaint and how can clarify where is the real issue? Who is the real culprit Vodafone / Reliance / MNP Authority?

Please help me (this mobile number is my lifeline and I am suffering a big loss due to deactivated SIM)

              Thanks,

                2) Add on # [protected] -- Migrate to Prepaid Plan

I paid for RS.125/-(rec. # 3591406) for Migration (Post to Prepaid of Add on # [protected])

You Representative done mistake for both request.

He did Primary # [protected] Migrated to Prepaid. & Add on #[protected] Changed plane to 299 .

                  Hi,
Myself Rahul Dev Saini, Residing in Bhorgarh, Narela, Delhi with my small and reputed family.Few days back i found my sim to be damaged and went to nearest mini store for replacement of Vodafone sim.On 9th Nov, 212 morning i went to mini store and found Gagan handling customer complaints with Tag line "Happy to Help", but in some time found very difficult to talk with the person. His language was too disrespecting and careless in a way that i have done some crime by coming here.Going further he told me to come after some time and when i went found this guy not at his desk to recieve complaints. After lots of efforts and time when this person came he again started misbehaving and asked some unusual and unwanted questions. He gave all the efforts in making me and my wife to regret our decision of coming to mini store for help. Then after lost of hassle and 5 times of our revisit and complete mental pain we found us with replaced sim but with lot of disrespect.I being a simple man with well reputed family never found such misbehaviour in my life.I would like to bring this in notice with the motive to improve his behaviour for me and for all other customers.I bring the customer of vodafone since last 13 years would expect strict and result oriented action from vodafone since this can be and should be resolved at basic level without escalating to higher authorities.Let me know what is the action plan from your side.My number - [protected].Regards - Rahul Dev Saini.

I got this Vadafone prepaid sim in September 2010, it worked for 2 days then you could not make a call.
It was for my brother who was hospitalized to keep in touch with him. The retailer took the sim from me saying will take it up with the Vadafone service centre. So months went by and nothing happened. He then refers me to the a TSM called Rajesh. He explains that my money cannot be returned but will get a new sim for me. I said ok fine, please do it. This was in December. Called the guy today and he immediately tells me off! This is not my problem, I told you you card cannot be used, you need to get a new one.....totally ignoring what he told in December. Then I try to remind him of his words...."He yells "This is none of my BLADDY problem"! PUT DOWN THE BLADDY PHONE!". Wow! Well Done VADAFONE INDIA. If you have such TSM's handling your clients imagine how many victims are out there!
Your call center only took the complaint and said sorry on his behalf! Any more excuses Vadafone or will you handle this "abusive personnel" who continued to send me 15 more sms, trying to make me look stupid! I have all the sms as proof, only after I sent an sms, that I am making a Police report, he stopped! Not after saying he to can make a police report and will refer to his Legal team........This is VADAFONE! Kudos!

                        Hi,
I am using Vodafone postpaid connection. Under my plan I get 200 local mins free. Also I have activated FnF numbers. When I received my bill I learnt that the free mins were also considered for the FnF numbers activated. I wrote an email to the appellate authority but they said its their policy. How can they have such a policy wherein the free minutes are deducted from the FnF number wherein I am already paying a monthly rental of Rs.49. At the time of activation I was not been told about this.

So guys please be aware of such hidden charges. Check your bills properly.

                        Please help!

                          Hi,

I wanted to switch to Vodafone via Mobile Number Portability for my following 2 cell phones (existing service provider is Loop Mobile.):
                          1. [protected]Porting Code: LM141136)
                          2. [protected]Porting Code: LM141148)

I received a call from Vodafone's Authorized dealer, S.K. Marketing to switch to Vodafone via MNP.
They came to my house on 22nd January and collected the following documents:
                          • 2 Checks of Rs 300/- each.
                          • Loop Mobile Bills
                          • Driving Licence copy

They told me that my number will be active within 7 working days and gave me 2 SIM cards. The details of the SIM cards are as below:
                          SIM No:[protected]Vodafone No: [protected])  For[protected]
                          SIM No:[protected]Vodafone No: [protected])  For[protected]

However, my number was not active for 10 days and so I decided to call on the helpline number that they had provided : [protected].
The helpline number of S.K. Marketing is very pathetic and it is very difficult to get hold of them. When I got through finally after at least 50 tries, the person was very rude and didn’t wanted to help at all.
Finally after much persuading they told me that the Loop mobile bills that I had provided were not the latest.

So if that was the case, why was the money debited from my account when all my papers were not clear?
Why was I not informed of the incorrect documents ?
Why did the person who came to my house never told me that the document’s need to be latest?
Does that mean you provide the dealership to such ignorant, irresponsible bunch of brats who do not know how to deal with a customer?

So now I am left with 2 options:
                          • Revoke my decision to join your network, in which case I want my money back.
                          • Have the connection ASAP without any further hassles.

I will be waiting for your reply and hope that it is not as bad as S.K. Marketing.

                          Thanks and Regards,
                          Hemal Shah
                          Hello Hemal,

My name is Shraddha Pednekar, I also have the same issue with S.K.Marekting department. I spoke to Vodafone and they said to me you should never buy all these schemes from Marketing agents, but my question to Vodafone is that how are we going to know the genuinity.

On 04th Feb 2011, I have submitted all the documents alongwith Rs.320.00 cheque, after which I did follow up regularly and they said it will take 07 working days.I called them up on 14 Feb 2011 and they said that the donor has rejected my application due to non-payment of previous bill.I made the payment veyr next day and the cheque got cleared on 17-Feb-2011. I again called them and asked to know the status to which they said that donor has again rejected the form for o/s payment(which was not the case) and when I threathed them they said they will process my form immediately i..e by monday 21-Feb-2011 and till date nobody is taking responsibility to tell me what is the procedure. Finally when i asked them refund they are now telling me once they recieve the form they will refund the money.

                          Shraddha

This is to bring to your notice that , i made an ERecharge of Rs. 111/- to the vodafone number [protected] ( which is in the name of Apoorwa Bansal in the city of Kanpur ) because the phone was being used ouside UP and hence was in roaming . The shop kepper told me that he had received the message frm the service provider that the TOP UP was done and i paid him the sum of money . But the top up has not been received yet on the concerrned number . I doubt that during the roaming period due to network failure the ERecharge was not successful . Kindly look into the matter .

                                  Please dont port to Airtel.
We are trying to escape from Airtel.
No offers, high call charges, Bad customer service.
So i request you to port to other providers (Docomo, Uninor, etc)

                                  Thanks,

AirTel — MNP Rejected - contractual Obligation

                                  Dear sir,

I have below Airtel numbers in my name for which I filed MNP request.

                                  9650960XXX (Postpaid)
                                  9650960XXX (Postpaid)
                                  9650960XXX (Postpaid)
                                  965XXX4363 (Postpaid)
                                  9560XXX550 (Prepaid)

I had large discussions with your team who promised me better Network coverage in my apartment and still failed to provide the same within stipulated time. This MNP request was after Airtel had failed miserably on three occassions of our complaints to fix the issue.
Further, myself and my husband had long conversations with Airtel representative, who called to ensure we did not go away. Finally they accepted the fact, that we had go as they had failed miserably as service providers. But to my shock, they have rejected the request citing Contactual Oblogations as the reason.
This is ridiculous to say the least and harassment is a small word for this.
When TRAI came out with guidelines, it would have been good, if it came out with fine on service providers failing to honor MNP requests.

Need your help to sort it out at the earliest, as it is a very painful to go signal hunting every time we have to receive/make a call.

                                  Thanks

                                  Dear Mr Rakesh

Following my email to [protected]@airtel.in, on 10/06/2011, I had received a call from Mr Krishna, Regional Manager Gurgaon, on 13/06/2011. He had asked me to give 48 hours to get the issue fixed, by installing a booster at my house.
                                  Nothing has happened since then.
Our several attempts to reach him on his number have also failed - shows the extreme irreposnible behaviour of Airtel employees.
And you would understand that I am not at all amused with this.

Further, its been more than 10 days since 48 hours time was asked and given that still you have not been able to solve the problem, I would request you to process the port out request ASAP.

                                  Thanks
                                  Shweta
                                  Dear Mr Krishna/Mr Rakesh
Apologies for chasing you for this. However we don’t really understand what is your understanding of "issue being resolved"?

Further, last we heard from you was about installing a booster. This idea failed as Airtel broadband is not present at our house.

Further, you had committed to getting the issue sorted by 23-July-2011.
However, still there has been no action from anyone. Our attempts to reach you via phone have been a failure as the call get disconnected at your end.

Finally, I think I have lost all my patience in this regard and would appreciate if you can process my port out request.

I'll be raising a new set of requests today for all 5 numbers and I hope that these are processed at your end.

                                  Thanks

I find my Mobile Number was automatically transferred to someone else. I don't use that number so often (but had long validity on it) and when there was a need to use, we topped up that number with another Rs. 200 only to find that SIM was not operational when we used the SIM after getting it topped up in a shop. I called my this SIM number from another line and found that someone else picked the call and my number has actually become his number. My this Rs. 200 top-up also went to that person. We compalined the local dealers, etc. but in no vain.

Not sure how a company like Vodafone can do such transfer or have processes of this nature. I can provide details if someone from the company is willing to investigate. I have purchases another SIM which is not in use for last 4-5 months (but with long validity). I am afraid I will lose that too sooner or later along with credit on it.

The harassment that Vodafone has put me though is unthinkable. I had placed an order for a Giordano watch from Vodafone M-shop on 6th of January 2011, a confirmation call came to me on 8th confirming that I would be recieving the same within 2-3 weeks. However, I dont see any sign of the delivery till date. My complaint no. is [protected]. I had placed the complaint on 27th of January(for which I had to wait for exactly 7mins 40 seconds for my phone to get answered) to which I was said that i would be contacted by the concerned dept. by 29th of Jan. He told me that I would be sent an update on my e-mail address..niether anybody called me and nor did i recieve an update on my e-mail. When I called back again on 30th of Jan 2011 to place the complaint again I was again told the concerned dept will contact me. Then I recieved a message from them that they are unable to reach me and that I should call to get an update. When I did I am told that I need to place a complaint at the Gordano site personally and that they cant do anything.
This is hieghts of ill management. If there was any problem between vodafone and Giordano as a co. then it is completely their look out. I paid through Vodafone M-shop in my opinion the offer stated on the booklet is exclusively being offered to Vodafone customers. I didnt go to Giordano to purchase the watch they are offering then why should I be running around solving their channel conflict.
I need my money back according to me I paid money to Vodafone and Vodafone is liable to pay it back. Vodafone entered into a contract with Giordano for the offer and not me and any such contract was not available for my review. It is nowhere written on the booklet they hav provided, that in case of non-delivery Vodafone is not responsible. Hence as a customer I want my money refunded back immediately.
I request the govt to throw these foreign players out of the country, they arent serving the citizens well
Not only do they ate up govt's revenue they are also eating up the consumer's hard earned money.
