Dear Sir/Madam
Need you help regarding this MNP issue and please look into this matter.
The Vodafone people are really troubling me to the extent they can by rejecting my port out request.
Details of this porting out request:
I have submitted my porting out request on 31 jan 2011 through airtel, After sometime I received message from Vodafone saying my porting out request is rejected due to contractual agreement with them. After calling customer care of Vodafone, they told me that I have to pay the bill, which I paid on 31st Jan itself.
After couple of hours, I received call from Vodafone mentioning I need to ask Airtel (to who I want to move after porting out from Vodafone) to send the porting request again. Which I did.
After 4 days I again came to know that Vodafone rejecting my porting out request and this time they forced me to visit the Vodafone store ( going to Vodafone store to and fro is 20 Km to me and it takes more than 2-3 hours for complete process) and this time Vodafone store in Indiranagr mentioned to me that my tariff plan is special (corporate plan) so I can not port out. This plan need to converted first to ordinary Vodafone plan and then only they will accept porting out request ( this was at
1;00 PM on Saturday, 05 feb 2011). The manager Vodafone agreed to me saying that I don't have to visit Vodafone store again and my request will be processed. Vodafone store gave me this reference number ,[protected]. And suggested me to ask airtel to send porting request again, which I did.
After 4 hours around 5 PM Saturday, 05 feb 2011, Vodafone executive informed me again that my porting out request is approved and I have to ask airtel to send the porting request.
On Sunday 06 feb 2011, at 16:28 I received the message from Vodafone saying my porting request VX112316 dated o6 feb11 is rejected due to the porting code does not match the donor allocated porting code for this number and I need to contact customer care.
This time I called again customer care and Vodafone executive mentioned me to go and contact Vodafone store.
This is really going beyond and everytime I am calling Vodafone customer care, the call goes for more than 25 minutes. In last calls twice it happened that kept me on hold for 15 min and 10 respectively.
If this is the way Vodafone behaves with customer, please suggest the best way to work with them and help me sort out this issue
Your help/interference in this issue will be highly appreciated.
Best regards
Vishvajit

Vodafone — Cheating Customers thru their Agent
I am an existing customer of Vodafone/Hutch bearing no.[protected] since 2003. On 3rd April 2008 their authorised agent M/s Abstract Solutions (P) Ltd contacted me to sell me a new no.[protected] and took Rs.250/- cide their Receipt No.22485 and Vodafone form No.80015820 and issued me sim No.[protected]. But later I came to know that the issued No.[protected] is temporary disconected and can not be allotted to me. Why such a big organisation is pressuring me to take another no. and not refunding my Rs.250/-? Its a mental harrasment for me Please look into the matter.
