I am Somnath Bhattacharya my Mobile no is [protected] yesterday Vodafone automatically activated Caller Tune in my mobile and deducted Rs.30/- from my balance. There Customer Care Executive told me that they cant refund the amount.

Please suggest me what to do???

Vodafone — automatic caller tune activation

from last week my caller tune activate automatically
Caller Tune has got activated automatically without any request and the balance amount (Rs.30) is reducing whenever i top-up (not on a monthly basis). As far as I'm concerned, Vodafone Company is FUTILE & FRAUD.
Offcourse i agree with above comments. At the first place i would like to inform vodafone that they are having a very poor customer service as the agent doesnt have any idea to speak, doesnt have any procedure to put on hold, doesnt have any idea to put on mute. They just place the call on hold and they never ever come back to the customer. I have a suggestion to vodafone either wind up the service or organise the best staff to assist its customer else it will bring a bad name to the vodafone.

Vodafone — auto activation of caller tune

I am a Vodafone cutomer. My caller tune was autoactivated and company is deducting Rs. 30 per month. I did send the SMS to deactivate but got the message that cannot proceed the message. When i inquired they told somebody have activated it, which is not true, the company is cheating lakhs of consumers in India, who is going to stop it?
i dont what d hell is happning with my vodafon connection ... d [censored]in MCI alerts have been activated automatically 3 days before...now caller tune is also activated automatically...my 75 rupees gone in of vodafone...vodafone sucks ...now they r not transferring my calls to customer care
without information u people have activated caller tune, n u have deducted Rs.30/- i gave a complaint n u people have deactivated the service but didnt get my balance.
n again today without information u have deducted Rs.30/-.
i was trying 2 contact the customer care from 1hr but its not connecting

it a very worst service u people r provided u r not at all bothered about the customer, customer care people r never responded

Vodafone — Automatic Activation of Caller Tune

I am a Vodafone Prepaid User with phone number [protected].
Without me requesting for it the caller tune service was activated and Rs 30 deducted.
I cancelled the service immediately and ignored the incident.
Two hours later the same service was activated again and another 30Rs deducted again.
This is very poor service and outright robbery by vodafone,

My name is Ayan Datta and my mobile no. is [protected].Vodafone deducted Rs 30 from my main balance for astrology service on 28/09/2011, even though i have not activated it.It is very disappointing to see a renounced company do such a thing.I expect that i would also be refunded and my astro service will be deactivated shortly.
I also faced similar problem. My vodafone also automatically deducted 30rs for callertunes. I did not ask for it.

Same thing happened with my mother Phone no. [protected]. Vodafone deducted 66 rupees for caller tune from talk time.
This is frustrating.

Bro... Sane thing. Pls suggest. Any action. Same tragedy with me. What to do?

Today, i have not placed any request and 66/- rs deducted at 9.30 pm from VI for caller tune. I called customer care. They refund it back. But again at 11.52 pm, 66/- deducted. What a poor system .would request VI to refund my hard earned money.

Hi, I also faced the same issues from last 30 days and 1st they cut the money 7 +7+5 in three different translations, and today they cut 32 for caller tune then I talked with support and I abuse her then she transferred my call to senior follow the same and finally I got all of my money 🤑
How was this post marked RESOLVED?? Only because Vodafone refunded the amount? What about still continuing to automatically enable caller tunes? How can we disable caller tunes getting automatically enabled time and again! Not just me, but I see a lot of people fed up with this automated burglary!

    i am a vodafone customer, my cell no is [protected] and with second plan, bcoz i only uses it for daily my routine calls, and about within a week vodafone automatically cut my balance & activate any of service (e.g. sms pack+music pack+bhagti pack) & when i call to customer care their behaiviour is so rude & also not satisfactory for my experiance. today my balance cut is 30 rupees & activated music pack, my number is also blacklist for vodafone customer care,
    i want my balance back

      I had opted for 2 corporate connections ([protected], [protected]):
      - On the same date (Check in Oracle for veracity)
      - By the same Sales Executive (Check in Oracle for veracity)
      - With the same Corporate rental Plan (Rs. 99/- month Rental)
      - With the same documents (Company ID card, Pan card Xerox etc)

      Then what’s the point in barring the outbound service for Mobile # [protected] due to negative verification while one connection was activated ?

      If I’m correct & understands a bit about your sales and activation procedure then verification is done by companies to see :
      - whether applied customer really exist or not?
      - whether applied customer’s doc’s are genuine & to verify also.
      - Whether applied customer is fraud or not?
      - To be sure that applied customer is genuine to pay the bills or not?
      - To gain faith that customer is genuine in all mandatory slabs as essentials to sale & activate the connection.

      1. When all the above criteria’s are fulfilled duly by me on the other connection ([protected]) then what’s your profit in to harass the customer by closing his services for more then week’s time.

      2. Why your Call center executive’s had given fake commitment of reverification to be done with in max. upto 72 hrs.? I had placed the request on 6/03/2011 at approx. 21:00 hrs to Mr. Harender. Request # was [protected]. Even after continuous follow up, I was given consolation of reverification very soon & within 72 hrs & was asked to have patience.
      Reverification can only be dreamt of, I died waiting for a single call as atleast someone would call to confirm my address.

      3. Finally, I took leave on 09/03/2011 specially for this reverification, then the whole day I was waiting but customer’s time never means anything to VODAFONE.

      4. I got your Nodal officer (SUSHMA’s) contact number [protected]. It was also informed to me that she is the officer for the whole North India (Vodafone). After getting the number, I dialed once, then twice then thrice then hundreds and then thousands times but still wasn’t able to connect her so I wanna know as do I need to dial lakhs or crores times to connect to her?????????
      Ultimately, I called up all my friends, children and old people & asked them to dial with their cell phones but even after they continuously tried from 1400 hrs to 1800 hrs no one out of minimum dialing group of 10 people were able to speak to her.
      And response………..subscriber dialed is busy.

      That means our honourable Nodal officer was either assisting one customer for continuous four hours or the BPO’s standard reply “ as due tosome technical reason I’m unable to assist”. Else problem lies with my all family & friends cell phones or network operators that they always gave us standard reply of subscriber being busy.

      5. Why your call center executives always compelled me to write mail only to her. What if I won’t be having the resources then should I be assuming this response as disrespect from Vodafone.

      6. Call center Senior Executive, THE GREAT “Mr. ANIL” when asked the reason of delay in reverification disconnected the call not once but twice. Then “ZIMMY” the “HERCULES LIER”, he told me for call back by Vodafone with in next 4 hrs on my call prior to 1300 hrs(09/03/2011) to customer care & again I didn’t received that. He mentioned in his remarks that he guided me to visit to Vodafone store, this was his statement but where the hell are mine statements when I told him that i was sick also & won’t visit anywhere then why didn’t this fellow mentioned this. Why the hell field executive wasn’t arranged for reverification?

      7. When asked reason of not doing the verification on time, Senior executives reply that information is not updated in their systems. When asked the reason of fake commitment then a very beautiful reply that VODAFONE IS NOT MEANT ONLY FOR ME.

      I want the reason as how dare Mr. Harish (Senior Executive) to say above statement to me?

      I want the explanation as for whom VODAFONE is meant for?

      8. TRAI RULES BREACHED BY VODAFONE: For the verification of my new mobile number ([protected]), NO VERIFICATION WAS CONDUCTED AS NOBODY VISITED MY RESIDENCE To VERIFY ME where in the remarks updated on the Vodafone software on my profile are “ Field executive met with my mother & verified my credentials. Very surprisingly my mother and father are staying 200 kms far away from my current address of Gurgaon. That means either the Field executive visited 200 kms away to my permanent address & verified my parents else he found one more Inderjeet with the same details somewhere in Gurgaon.

      I will show proofs if required, to confirm duly as no body visited

      The Verification which wasn’t even done was made positive & connection was activated also immediately. That means VODAFONE is the company violating the rules of INDIAN CONSTITUTION, CONSUMER FORUM, TELECOM REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF INDIA & ALSO CENTRAL DEFENCE MINISTRY OF INDIA.

      - Due to above description why not to launch case against VODAFONE for forgery, against PREVENTION OF TERRORISM ACT (POTA) as if I’m understanding correct then in this way VODAFONE is giving connections to terrorists, Maoists & militants etc.

      I’m awaiting for a descriptive reply on all this matter?

      Vodafone is the worst mobile service provider in India. This company should not be allowed to operate.
      Hi,

      My name is Pankaj Pardesi, and my numbers are [protected] and [protected].

      I am very dissatisfied with the service I have received and the issues I have faced in the last 3 days with my number [protected].

      On Saturday, 29th June 2013 I went to the Vodafone store at bund garden Road, near wadia college at around 11:30 am. I placed a request to activate a data plan on the number which costs Rs.98/- for 600MB. I was told at the store that the plan will be activated in 4 hours. I got the GPRS settings message after 5 hours on the phone so I started using the internet.

      I was not getting the speed hence I called the Vodafone Care and spoke to a person called Shivaji, to my surprise I found out that the data plan/GPRS is not been activated as yet. He said he can see a request and it will be activated by next day 12:30 max (Sunday). *** He also told me that for the internet usage I made I will be charged at a different price as the package is not been activated****. I dispute this and I refuse to pay anything extra money for this as I was given a 4 hour time to have this resolved.

      I was told by the person I spoke to on Saturday, that I will get a confirmation message once the data plan is activated. On Sunday, I called and spoke to another person he said that its not been activated as it’s a weekend. “”this is that the system doesn’t work on a weekend and needs an off on a Sunday””. I was given a TAT again for the service to be activated on Monday 12:30 AM.

      I called an spoke to an advisor again, told him about the activation of Data Plan he said this can’t be completed because I would need to send an email to the corporate mail id. I was unhappy about this and asked him for a waiver for the internet charges mentioned above in the email. He said he can’t do this, then he kept me on hold to speak to his manager and came back and said will activate the service and I don’t have to send an email (WHAT IS HAPPENING).

      I asked for a supervisor and was transferred to a Pathetic Person name “Promod”. He definitely has left notes on my account. I told him my concern, he just kept me on hold for more than 25 minutes and didn’t do anything he said the service should have been activated but its not, this has really aggravated my anger, to top it up after 40 minutes he hung up on me as well.

      Now I called back to prove my stupidity for being a VODAFONE CUSTOMER, I spoke to another person called nagesh and asked him to give him promod’s full name so that I can complain. He kept me on hold for 15 minutes again came back and denied to do this and HE EVEN HUNG UP (where is the customer service in a customer care).

      I think I have lost a lot of time almost 3 days now and I want this to be resolved, I want a waiver of my charges for the number [protected], I also want an apology from Vodafone for this level of service and finally Promod’s (the supervisor) needs to be out of Vodafone, as he has proved that VODAFONE doesn’t respect their customer at all.

      I then called after 1 hour and spoke to Sachin Bhalerao he first said that on Saturday the request was not taken at all for activating the service. I need to send an email to activate the service, they do not accept a phone call to make changes to the plan (this was never heard).

      This was ridiculous and maddening to me how can so many people lie at the same time and give wrong information.

      This is to inform you that I am Lakhwinder Bachan from Amritsar..My phone number is [protected]..
      On 04/04/2014 I was in New Delhi, In the morning I got my number recharged of Rs100 by Vodafone network...I receive Rs.86 from it then I active roaming service from Vodafone..As in confidential level I thought that Vodafone company must started my roaming service...but as i receive a call in roaming my amount was deducted...I tried again for roaming service my money was deduct again for roaming charge...I was not able to understand that if I active the roaming service then why I was being charged to attending my calls in roaming...


      Kindly resolve my issue and get back my balance back to me please...I am waiting for your positive revert back...Logic is why cheating with peoples like this way...Vodafone is the worst mobile service provider in India. This company should not be allowed to operate.

        I am vodafone customer having number [protected]
        My problem is 95 rs internet pack is not activated even 95 rs got deduced from my bank account when i done transaction online 3 days back.
        I already made complain with vodafone complaint cell by dialing 198.
        They took into this consideration and gave me some number stated [protected] and told that it will be resolved.
        But till today no action was taken.
        When i'm trying to customer care today to ask on this , it was not connecting to agent just repeating the recorded voice system.
        So this creates a bad opinion of your service.
        So please try to resolve this as soon as you can

          In the month of December, I called up Vodafone customer service for an e-mail address where I can send my request to change my corporate plan to Rs99.00. The CS agent provided me an e-mail address (vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com) where I've been sending e-mails without a response to my request. Lately, I came to know thru another agent that the correct e-mail address is corpcare.[protected]@vodafone.com. When I asked Vodafone how they are going to adjust my billing given that I was paying a higher rental after my initial request, and given the fact that it was their error, the Relationship Manager said that they need evidence that their CS had given me the wrong e-mail address. She was asking me for the phone number and the name of the agent who gave me the incorrect e-mail address in December. How on earth am I supposed to remember the number and name of the person with whom I spoke 2 months back? Should they not be keeping a track of what I spoke with them in December? It's a basic protocol of a CS department to keep a note of the interactions they've with their customers on phone. Please advise - Am I responsible to keep track of the name of the person with whom I spoke 3 months back? Is it not Vodafone who should be saving these details when I spoke to them in December?

            In some strange way Vodafone has activated caller tune and sports alert zone since last few months and I am unable to talk to the customer care department as the number 111 is always busy. Every month they are charging for an unwanted service.

              I am using a Vodafone connection for the past 3 and half year. On 25th of February 2011 I got a call from Vodafone. They said i'll be getiing an add-on connection form Vodafone free of cost , will I be interested for that. I said Ok.Then on 28th of Feb 2011 a Vodafone Agent came to me and collected all the documents and gave me a New SIM card and told me it will get activated with in 24 hours.The on the same evening I got a call from their customer care asking about verification and she told me that with in next 24hrs the number will be activated.

              I waited for 3 days but it didn't get activated.So I called the customer care and asked them why it is getting delayed but they said they don't have the information about that particular number as it is not updated in their database. They asked me to go to the nearest Vodafone Store and inquire about the same.So the next morning i went to the Vodafone Store , they said we will verify and call you back sir.But they didn't called me.So next day again I went to that store and the manager of that store gave me another SIM card with the same number and said it will be activated with in 24 hrs. today it is 10th if March 2011 and it is still not activated.When ever I am calling that Vodafone agent , he is not picking my call.

              I have not seen such a bad service in my whole life.
              It is already 11 days and the Vodafone people are not able to activate a number .

              hi, this is dr amit chauhan,my vodafone no. is [protected] n my alternate no. is [protected]. i m very much disappointed by the response vodafone has given to my request for a postpaid connection.i have applied twice for the connection n after one month ,inquiring n confirming my details at least a dozen times my sim has been blocked.i feel highly frustrated n mentally tortured by u. i[censored] people cant provide me the services why dont u say straight forwardly ,why r u keeping me waiting n wasting my time.i m a doctor,permanent central govt. employee living in my own house,if u r failing to verify me i really feel pity for u n ur veryfying agents. now i wnt back my deposit money of 500(deposited 250 twice) n i m not going to visit ur nearest vodafone store again bcos i have other important works to do instead.

                I have opted a vodaphone from vodaphone sim cell no [protected] through corporate planning and I have submitted all relevent documents to vodafone though they sent a message to resubmit the documents and subsequently I had visited on 03.02.2011 to nearest vadophone store at chembur, taken a token no. 225 aroud 18.30 and again resubmitted all documents asked if any documents is required and their executive told me everything is fine. in spite of this, after 4 days they done my sim unredistered. after contacted with [protected] they again telling me that your documents are incompleted and ask to vist gallery. this is happend 3- 4 time with me.
                I would suggest sim only to be registered when everything is ok otherwise what is meaning sim working for 2-3 days and then sim become unregistered. the Guys whose are working in vodafone are careless just making funs. I request to Relianace to come out all circle and have to capture all cities/localities to curb useless player like vodafone.

                Vodafone India — Customer service

                I have been with Vodafone India for more than 4 years now
                Mobile Number: [protected]
                I called them every month and they promised me that they will waive off the late fees that was charged to me because i did not pay the bill as my complaint was not addressed by them
                The service is so pathetic
                I face call drop issues, no connections, connection error, number busy issues
                I work in a BPO for night shifts where in I have missed my pick up transport because due to some reason i didn't receive the call and later on I get missed call alert
                I stay at Badlapur and work at Malad
                how do you expect me to reach office on my own at 3am
                I reach office late, spend my own money for traveling ,complete my login hours and then take less sleep and then go back to work next day
                This is whose fault? - mine who is paying for the services
                The proof is I called the Nodal officer yesterday twice and the call disconnected both the times
                Today I tried calling them I was on hold for more than 20 minutes
                again I called the call connected and it kept ringing and no answer
                So what do you expect???
                You can check my call history
                Vodafone people hang up directly when called on 111 or 198
                We spend our time and energy in calling them and what do we get in return?
                when asked for supervisors, call goes blank after checking whether the call is recorded
                If not recorded then released from Avaya- you can collate a call release report for them

                Please look into this a bit seriously

                  Hi,
                  Pls note that from last 3-4 days I am receiving bulk sms from BA-560007 related to real eastate very much inspite of DND service activated on my vodafone no. +91 [protected].
                  At times I'm so discouraged with problems of the day, I fail to see THE JOYFUL THINGS that are along the way; When troubles overwhelm me it's then my nerves may fray, that's when I need to take the time to simply sit and pray; I must try to remember though problems come my way, not to miss THE JOYFUL THINGS and the beauty of the day.
                  I want to stop these bulk sms with immediate effect.
                  Pls help me to get rid of this unwanted bulk sms.

                    Firstly i was using vodafone Gprs Pack and pack expires due to usage of liimit of dta pack and
                    vodafone start deducting balance from my account at 10p/kb pack and shows no reduction of balance at *141#
                    After 5-6 hours later Balance gets deducted and my account balance was Rs -131.
                    Vodafone Customer care assure me to deactivate 10p/kb pack and i have done it but problem remains the same and next time my balance was -33

                    and this time vodafone deactivate my all packs itself and also 10p/kb
                    but aftter using Gprs pack again my balance is again deducted Rs -719


                    There times vodafone make mistake.
                    I have been using Vodafone 3 yrs.
                    Poor Response of Vodafone Customer Care, No feature of Checking data balance in gprs pack,
                    automatically activation of service by vodafone and deduction of balace etc. are the bad thing done by Vodafone.
                    there is service of checking data balance of gprs pack so Mistake is done by vodafone and we have to pay for this..............
                    No Way!

                    So Plz Leave vodafone Networks Go to Others

                      i am using Vodafone No. +91-[protected](PREPAID) from the last 3yrs in Delhi.

                      Finally after the launch of MNP i want to switch my service provider to Tata Indicom for which i have paid the porting charges to Tata Indicom, but Vodafone is not validating my port out request without giving any reasons.

                      I have done:

                      1) Completely filled the CAF to Tata Indicom with the same docs. which i gave to Vodafone at the time of purchasing my no. & do all the required formalities.

                      2) I dont have my balance in negative.

                      3) I dont have any dispute with the Vodafone as my no. is Prepaid.

                      Please help me what should i do.

                        I m using vodafone postpaid connection (mob. no. [protected]) and want to port in Idea connection, for which i was applied for portability in vodafone, they given the unique porting code VD 119194 on dated 22.01.2011, after that idea has applied for portability but vodafone had cancelled the application that the bill is not paid, then i paid the bill . Again i applied for porting and the vodafone given the unique porting code VD 175495 on dated 23.02.2011. and on dated 24.02.11, i hav received SMS from vodafone, they sent the message that will validate your request and will revert on confirmation by 96 hrs TAT from the time we receive the request. On dated 28.02.11, i received sms from vodafone that your porting request has been rejected due to the number or range is in contractual obligations. I want to tell you that in my company two persons had applied for porting and the vodafone has release the number for portability but in my case they are not released, however i hav provided all the details.

                        Please do needfull action.

                          I was advised that I would not get any calls, but as of today (21st Jan 2010) I have received calls from Share Khan services.

                          This has been a regular occurrence, and I am tired of calls coming all the time. I have complained to Vadafone regularly, but nothing seems to have worked.

                          My name is Pramit Pal.
                          I have a Vodafone number([protected]), for which I have activated Do Not Disturb Service through the Vodafone website. I placed the request in the first week of October 2010. After repeatitive followups I was told that the service will get activated by 18th of December(thats more than 2 months...does that take that long? wow).
                          Anyways, I was told by a call centre executive(I should have recorded the name) that my service is active, post 18th of December 2010. But even then I was getting sales calls on my number.
                          I even tried talking to the Call Centre supervisor, but no one would transfer the calls to their supervisor or team leads. Surprisingly after being asked to kept in hold for a long time, the call drops.
                          And then in today,again, I spoke to one more Call centre executive, Mr. Chiranjeev Pal(i called 111 from my mobile). I explained to him my situation and also gave him the numbers or message ids from where am getting the SMSs and calls. He did the same thing. He told me, that I can note down a complaint ID(this must be my 3rd time now). So I said, thanks but no thanks, I wanted to speak to a supervisor. He kept me on hold for about 4-5 mins,then got back and said "thanks for being patient sir, I am transfering your call to my supervisor" ..and again am put on hold...and again my call drops in 3 mins.
                          I made sure that I was in a zone where network is accessible and no network issue was present.
                          I need some help with this, and am almost sure that with Vodafone, my pleas are falling on deaf ears.

                          Can someone help me , how should I handle this legally? Isn't DND a government service?

                          Dear all,
                          I had registered for DO NOT SERVICE(DND) on the first week of October 2010.
                          I was told that DND service gets activated in 45 days.
                          When I checked back on the last week of November, I was told that it is 45 "Working" days , so it will get activated on 18th of December 2010.(I was getting sales calls and SMS all throughout this time).
                          I called up after 18th of December(since even after that I was getting unsolicitated calls) and I was confirmed that my service is active and I should not be getting any calls now.
                          But the calls never stopped. And even today I get calls and SMSes.
                          I tried complaining to the customer care people 3 times. And each time I ask to be transferred to a supervisor, my call gets dropped.
                          I had a call from the Vodafone Customer Relationship team some days back(following my last complaint) and I was told if I can mail the numbers from where am getting the SMSes and Calls, to the <Vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com> email id I should be getting some response.
                          I had mailed them the list of the numbers, and in response I got a mail saying that I will have to mention the date and the subject of the SMS or call for every number to post a complaint.
                          So please imagine the hardship of noting down details of every unwanted sales call.
                          Isn't DND a government service?
                          Last time I had requested for some legal help and counsel.
                          I do so again. Someone please let me know what options do I have.

                            I WAS USING VODAFONE DATAPLAN 1 FOR ACCESSING INTERNET SINCE 2008, IN OCT 2010 I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH VODAFONE SERVICES WHEN I GOT WINDOWS 7 OPERATING SYSTEM IN MY BRAND NEW LAPTOPS (SAMSUNG AND HP), THE USB STICK STOP WORKING ON WIN-7 PLATFORM, WHEREAS ON WIN XP IT WAS WORKING. I APPROACHED THE CUSTOMER CARE OF VODAFONE FROM OCT 2010 TILL THE END OF DEC 2010 BUT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND ANY SOLUTION EXCEPT IN ONE OF THEIR MAIL THEY SUGGESTED ME TO FIND SUITABLE DRIVERS FROM GOOGLE AND INSTALL (NO INDICATION OF WHICH DRIVER AND FROM WHICH WEBSITE!!).

                            I REQUESTED VODAFONE TO DISCONTINUE MY SIM SO THAT I DO NOT END UP PAYING MONTHLY RENTAL WHICH WAS ABOUT RS 1000 PER MONTH, ON THIS THEY REVERTED AND WE DECIDE THAT IF I BUY A NEW USB STICK WHICH IS WIN-7 ENABLE AND COST RS 1600, VODAFONE WILL WAIVE OFF MY BILL SETTLEMENT OF NOV 2010 AND DEC 2010 AND MAKE MY MONTHLY RENTAL TO RS 440 (INCL ALL TAXES & CHARGES), I DID THE SAME AND GOT INTERNET ON MY LAPTOPS. IN JAN 2011 END I REQUESTED FOR BILL, AND FOUND IT IS NOT AS PER THE AGREEMENT WE HAD.. I CORRECTED THEM AND GOT ASSURANCE THAT IN FEB 2011 THE BILLING WOULD BE OKAY BUT FEB 2011 BILL WAS AGAIN WRONG.

                                My name is kaiser kabir. I am using a vodafone prepaid number since its inception in the state.
                                Recently I went to recharge my number to one of the authorised dealers in my locality. Erronously instead of recharging my number by 399 the dealer recharged it by 349. The dealer felt sorry for his mistake and decided to help me. He called the customer care and we talked to one of the executives Mr Vikram Thakur who suggested my to agin recharge by Rs 50 so that my balance would be more than Rs 400 and then send a specific message to one of the service numbers by which 399 pack would be activated. I did the same thing but I got a service reply that i have typed wrong keywords. I again talked to the same executive but nethier could he help me nor was he kind and polite and he disconnected my phone. I called again but this time Some Mr Amit took my call. He was also of no help and despite y repeated requests of making me talk to Vikram or any other knowledgeable person he again kept me on hold for a longtime and then disconnected my phone.
                                Even if the executives were not able to help me out atleast they should have been polite and fair in their conversation, on the contrary nethier did they help me nor were they polite.
                                Such type of irresponsible behavior is not at all acceptable from the employees of a company with such good reputation and if any one does so, company is expected to take stern action against such persons.

                                  I opted for a Vodafone connection as per my colleague's suggestions as there was an plan where Vodafone was giving unlimited plan within Karnataka to any Vodafone or any mobile and to landline. Within very weeks time my outgoing was barred asking for my documents. As a responsible citizen I took my cousin along with me and submitted his documents as I had lost my Election ID card recently, for a surprise and several calls to Vodafone and visit to their Vodafone store....connection resumed after 24-hours of re-submission of the documents. I nearly did not get a chance to use my card for about 5-days as I work in the night shifts in an International call center. I had to recharge my account with 699 after a month as I am suppose to be doing to continue having unlimited plan, where I recharged it on 28th of February 2011 and on 4th of March 2011 morning again I lose my outgoing. I started calling customer care from my given number, but to no avail as there is no outgoing... The message I get to hear is... "This service requires a special subscription". In-fact I forgot to mention that, I had Initially even lost my Sim along with the cell phone within few days of subscribing to Vodafone, later after two days I had to visit Vodafone store to get a duplicate one. However, I kept calling Vodafone several times...speaking with several other agents and with the supervisers... who gave me different reasons for disconnections and gave false promises. One says it's because of non-submission of documents, one says it's because your account is negative Rs1 and one more says that It's because...you just migrated from postpaid to prepaid..etc...where as I purchased a new prepaid one..a month ago....and I have submitted my docs twice which is in the name of "Syed Akram Zameer". one of the supervisors, gave me a false promise of resuming the services within 2-hours but, no no avail....I also recharged my SIM for Rs20 so that they deduct Rs1 and resume my services back. However, nothing worked. My services are still not back when I am leaving this complaint. This is my first ever experience with Vodafone....which is really pathetic, I've been with Airtel since 7-years and had no issues at all....with their services. I will .......NEVER EVER WANT TO BE WITH VODAFONE...NOR WILL I RECOMMEND IT TO ANY OF MY ENEMIES.

                                    Below is the letter I wrote to Vodafone Customer Care which has details of my complaints.

                                    Hi,

                                    My details are as follows:

                                    First I would like to inform that I am totally unhappy with the Vodafone Service. Be it various obstacles for simple requests, ambiguous rates and total non-response from the executives. I was using Airtel in Bangalore but when I migrated to Hyderabad I wanted to try out Vodafone. Based on the ads and promotions, I thought I would get a better deal and greater satisfaction with Vodafone. But I am totally appalled by the service. The thought of moving to other operators has also popped up in my mind. I am a Manager who moves around different place, calls up Clients abroad. Service & Integrity is what I value the most.
                                    Here are the issues I face :


                                    1. Delayed Activation, Faulty Sim and Additional charges levied for the same -> I was issued the faulty SIM card by your Sales executive Vasanth at the Vodafone booth in Accenture office. The SIM did not get activated for 3 days. I had to depend on my Prepaid "DOCOMO" number for important business calls during this duration. After 3 days, a different SIM was issued citing that earlier one was faulty. First of all, I faced a situation of No - Connectivity for 4 days and then issue was resolved. Now when the bill has been generated, I see an additional amount charged as "Replacement of a resource" for Rs. 50. This is heights. First you issue a faulty SIM and then charge me extra to give a working one. This way I guess you can make your entire business issuing faulty SIM's, replacing them and charging the customers for the same! I want the charges rescinded along with Service Tax levied on Rs 50 before I make my Bill Payment.
                                    Apart from the "newly" issued SIM was activated on 10th Feb but I am being charged rental from 8th Feb. For your delay, Do I need to pay the additional rental? I want this rescinded as well.

                                    2. Callertunes -> Charges 3 days -> Rs. 30. Callertunes are charged at the rate of Rs. 30 per month. I activated for the same on 25th Feb. Rs. 30 should be charged from 25th Feb to 25th March else it should be charged on pro-rata basis. But none of this was followed. I dont believe any other operator in country does this. In Airtel, I had applied on 28th for Callertunes and in the bill they charged me for 3 days of the month. Even your site mentions it as Rs. 30 per month not as Rs 30 "per billing cycle"

                                    3. ISD & Roaming activation -> As you understand I am a corporate customer. I need the SIM to make national & international calls daily. So I expect all the services to be activated from Day 1. With Airtel, I had all the services (including GPRS) activated from Day 1(without any deposit). But on the day of my important Client Call, I find out that ISD is not thr in my number. I approach Customer Care & Sales executives who tell me that I need to cough up Rs 2000/- deposit to get the service activated or wait till 3 months and ay the bills of 3 months to get the service activated. Which age are we living in? You need to wait 3 months to build trust and get ISD activated. That too on a Corporate Connection. I cannot expect this from an aspiring Service Provider! After innumerables calls, Sending my payslip and convicing innumerable executives the services was activated in record 6 hours. Thanks to that I missed my Client Call as well. Corporate Customers was such a sarcasm here.
                                    Then when I was in a meeting in Bangalore the next week and was going to make an ISD call, I again got the rude shock the ISD has not been activated for Roaming. Now this is totally unacceptable. Almost childish. Do you expect me to get activation for each and every number I call? Can the executives be so dumb to activate ISD after so many delays but not do the same for Roaming. I dont understand what processes you follow. But you'll need to improve on these archaic processes if you want to achieve anything close the Customer Satisfaction.

                                    Seriously when you provide service the Corporate Customers, time and service are of the essence. You dont need me to teach you that. For every service or activation, there are additional steps and hurdles. Additional charges levied for your own fault and then service tax levied on top of that! On top of that the I call up Customer Care to lodge the complaints for 3 days and they tell me some "Server" is down, applications are not working so I need to call each day to confirm if the services are "UP".
                                    Then applications are working, Customer Care tells me because I am the privileged "Corporate Customer" he cannot solve my problem but I need to send a detailed mail on a weekend taking out time for the Service Provider. Just the Icing on the cake.

                                    With Airtel in Bangalore, any issues I faced or misunderstandings would be resolved in moments or minutes the least. When some additional charges were levied, just a call was enough to explain and get the money rescinded and paid back to me. But I am not sure how your system works.

                                    I want solutions or visible steps taken for the complaints I have lodged.
                                    Your reply would define what steps I need to take to ensure my satisfaction.

                                        Cheers, for your worst services.

                                        Please be informed as I purchased a new prepaid connection ([protected]) on the first week of Feb,2011.

                                        Second week, I got an sms from Vodafone Care regarding documents resubmission and another day my phone ([protected]) was disconnected. I went to Goregaon Station Vodafone Care Center and resubmit the documents to Snehal(CCE) and got a confirmation from her.

                                        Third week, again my phone ([protected]) was disconnected without any information, I again went to Snehal(CCE) in Goregaon Station Vodafone Care Center, she asked me to again resubmit the documents but at the same time I called customer care they simply replied that it was happened by Vodafone Operation's fault and my phone ([protected]) would be continue within 4 hours. My phone ([protected]) started working after 4 hours.

                                        Forth week, again my phone ([protected]) was disconnected without any information, I tried to call Vodafone Care Executive but there is no any option to call any CCE through 111, I again went to Snehal(CCE) in Goregaon Station Vodafone Care Center. She also admitted the same technical fault but simultaneously her supervisor (Anshika) says it's not any problem only all CCE are busy that's why I am not getting even a option to call them and Anshika again asked me to resubmit the documents 3rd time. And also added as the earlier documents were declined then I said if the same documents I will resubmit again, might be declined again then what ?

                                        Kindly look into the matter asap
