I have been trying to deactivate the Caller Tune feature for about four months now. Every time I call the customer care and lodge a complaint, I am told that the service will be deactivated in a couple of days but I don't see that happening. I already have about three service request numbers of my complaints. Each month, an amount of 30 INR is being deducted from my balance towards this service that I never wanted in the first place. Is there something I can do about it? Is there a way to escalate it? I have already called them up five to six times and I am fed up of it. I didn't want to exercise the MNP option just because of this but it looks like I don't have any other go.

Is this the kind of customer care that Vodafone strives to provide us?

Unwanted facilities and Deductig money without information
    Dear Sir,

Pls note that I m a Vodafone Prepaid Customer in AP(Prepaid Mbl No:[protected]).17th Sep 08 I got 3 messages from Vodafone that you are activated a caller tune in my number and deducted around Rs.45/- from my mobile’s account. Pls note that I didn't made any request for a caller tune. I did not send any request this might have happened because I was already talking on mobile. Kindly revert that money to my account as early and please please STOP this USELESS way for earning money.
And you have taken all care for not getting information for DEACTIVATION(Discontinue)
Kindly deactivate as early as possible or give me information about HOW TO DEACTIVATE.
Seen MR ...who is head of this phone activity handeling department. This is a short term gain which Vodafone is going to get If you dont correct your self then you know what will hapen most of your custment will switch over to others phone services. I am not intrested in going any type of COURT because you know its a time consuming and result will take a long time. So please behave like HUMANS not like ------.
HOPE YOU WILL TAKE ALL ABOVE THINGS IN POSITE MANNER FOR BETTERMENT AND GROWTH OF VODAFONE. AND DONT FORGET TO GIVE ME CALL.
    Your
    very good customer.

My name is Avinash from Hyderabad, my mobile number is [protected] which I've ported in from Airtel network because of great offers in Vodafone, I am requesting you to kindly let me the know the remaining balance of my message validity and balance as I've recharged with RC28 with which I can get 3000sms valid for 10 days as I am unable to know the details of that messages on my mobile and from the customer care also, I request you to kindly help the customers by letting them to know heir message balance.

And it would be more better if you introduce a long SMS pack for 6 months or 1year as in TATA DOCOMO if the customer recharges with RC88 the customer will get Rs.0 talktime with 1ps local & national SMS valid for 6months as nowadays the customers are showing interests in SMS packs mostly,

And at the same time if you also start the CELL INFO TOWER area name as default area for an example if I am at a place named ABIDS in hyderabad & the CELL INFO DISPLAY shows the offer like *567*71#30songsRs3/day like this if i am crossing the areas i am getting these offers in display, it would be better if you delete the offer services & start the area names as it is already being showed in the other networks like BSNL mobile & Airtel does.

Hoping to see the change as early as possible

Waste network in this world...rlly shame
Hallo Vodafone, we know jio network grow day by day, but this is not solution you give this type of plans, it plan cannot benefits for customers, kind of monthly pack, , this is also reson to changing network so I requested toVodafone to remove this type of plans, and give dhamekedar plan to stand with you Vodafone, I am also in Vodafone, , , , all the best, , ,
            Please add Volte network.
Please make all the callertunes free, atleast just see and learn from Jio and airtel they give free callertunes and also high speed network and you ### shame on you.🙏
            Please modify the network connection.
Vodafone should do something different, like they launched a weekend plan, they should give customers freedom. Vodafone should launch a plan in addition to its monthly prepaid plan where ordinary customers can talk on the call by recharging any amount so that people will not turn to anyone other than Vodafone. Because not everyone can recharge monthly and some customers don't even need a data plan. Vodafone should give priority to talktime and start affordable plans for people in rural areas and avoid blocking outgoing calls if not recharged so that people do not stop using Vodafone SIM even when there is no network.

My phone number is [protected][Mumbai circle]. 10-12 days back I have placed port in request to Reliance from Vodafone. after few days Vodafone rejected Port out stating contractual obligation. I visited vodafone store, they said since mine was corporate postpaid plan i can not move out of vodafone, you will first have to move individual plan then only you will be able to move out of vodafone. so i moved to normal vodafone plan. After that also, MNP was not happend. I contacted reliance customer care, they said its in progress. I contacted vodafone customer care, they have given funny answers. when i called first time vodafone customer care on 11th Feb, they said your ISD, GPRS service are active so you will not be able to move out of Vodafone, you must first deactivate it. I deactivated that. I again called again vodafone customer care on same day, this time some differenet story. They said you are still showing as a corporate customer in vodafone system, hence you will not be able to port out of vodafone. I argued with them for some time but no luck. finally they said you call retentaion department of vodafone and ask them the MNP status. so I again call them and asked them for transferring call to retentaion dept., but customer care guy said there is a technical difficulty in retenation dept. so he is not able to connect. They will call me in 24 hrs. Next day 12th Feb i visited nearest vodafone store[Kharghar] and asked about my MNP status, this time also different answer. They said you will have to submit fresh application to vodafone. I can clealry see a harasment from Vodafone. I have paid all my bills also, but vodafone is not releasing my number to Reliance.

BPL has blocked the Porting facility by which customer do not get the unique porting number. After so much of complaints I made they enabled my unique code. After this again, Now they have rejected my Porting Application saying Payment over due eventhough I have paid my JAN11 bill and FEB11 bill I am yet to recieve. The Relationship managers of BPL have no answer on why they have rejected the same. Please can some one look into this service provider blocking our Porting facility. So that our porting to another service provider becomes easier.

                      11 / 02 / 2011

I purchased vodafone mobile broadband dated 15/1/11. because the executive offered us by giving wild assurances which wore as follows:
1.The speed of this broadband is 3.8 mbps.
2.Unlimited downloading and surffing would be given free for a month.
                      3. 3G services would be launched in India on 26 January 2011 and after its introduction the speed of this broadband would be automatically converted into 3G without additional costs.

But the result we got was as follows:
1.On inquiring with vodafone coustmer care we came to know that the speed was not 3.8mbps but it was just 384kbps.
2.But from the date of purchase till today the device has hardly work for four to five days and at present too,the device is not working.
3.Till now no 3G is introduced
                      4. Inspite it was free for a month they have sent us a bill.

On the contrary I have TATA PHOTON which is working without any problems.

                        Address: Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

I Bought a Vodafone blackberry Plan 6990 for 1 year. After 5 months, I shifted from AP to Delhi Circle. Now Vodafone is not willing to extend blackberry services to my new Vodafone account in Delhi. Instead, after a long follow up, they stopped all services to my SIM. tis is shear cheating as I have deposited the advance rental for 1 year and now I am not provided the service for remaining period. I recommend not to opt for "Advance rental" plans from such company/ies.

Wish the viewers all the very best.

Vodafone — Cheating Customers thru their Agent

I am an existing customer of Vodafone/Hutch bearing no.[protected] since 2003. On 3rd April 2008 their authorised agent M/s Abstract Solutions (P) Ltd contacted me to sell me a new no.[protected] and took Rs.250/- cide their Receipt No.22485 and Vodafone form No.80015820 and issued me sim No.[protected]. But later I came to know that the issued No.[protected] is temporary disconected and can not be allotted to me. Why such a big organisation is pressuring me to take another no. and not refunding my Rs.250/-? Its a mental harrasment for me Please look into the matter.
                        Dear Sir,
                        RIDICULOUS SERVICE PROVIDED BY VODAFONE.
I HAVE PREPAID CARD FROM VODAFONE 91-[protected], THEY ARE DEDUCTING 30.00 RS FROM MY ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH WITHOUT MY PERMISSION WHEN YOU CALL THEM THEY ARE NOT READY TO LOOK INTO OUR PROBLEMS.
I HAVE TO SPOKEN TO 100 PEOPLE AND THEN WAIT FOR 1 HOUR AFTER THAT WE CAN GET IN TOUCH WITH SENIOR AND LATER ON PHONE GETS DISCONNECTED.
THEY ARE MISLEADING THE PEOPLE BY ADVERTISING ON THE TV WE HELP YOU, IT IS NOT HELP IT IS HARRESMENT. – PLEASE STOP THIS ADVT OF VODAFONE we help you, it should be welcome to the world of harressment.
I gave call to Vodafone and spoke to Mr. chandrakant, before reaching him I have done more then 20 calls, chandrakant agreed their was such issue going on but nothing has been done it, before he speak to me more phone gets disconnected. So many times calls has been given but nobody has responded back or replied back. I again gave call to Vodafone and Again I was asked same repeat questions what is your problem why you have call i cannot transfer your call to any seniors first you speak to me, I said I was talking to chandrakant and mr. jesus, Mr. Santosh replied I don’t know them you talk to me, I cannot transfer to any senior I cannot help you. I asked him is employee code, he replied I cannot provide you my employee code and I also asked him about his last name he is replying I don’t have last name you can call me santosh, do whatever you want.
Is it my fault to take VODAFONE service?
Do these people take us granted?
Is it not Mr. Chandrakant’s responsibility to call back? Is it not necessary for Vodafone employees to provide necessary information instead of giving wrong names?
I don’t want 30.00 rs back I just want to know now is with whose permission they have deducted money from my account?
Secondly I have wasted my time, money and energy which are worth of rs. 15000.00.
I would like to know how Customer care is going to work on this?
                        Best Regards,
                        Jigar

I hv purchased a mobile connection [protected] from hutch now vodafone in 2002, during this period hutch/vodafone delivered bills against their services at my address102 markaz road kaila bhatta ghaziabad. In November 2009 my phone was lost along with my vodafone sim, I registered my complaint to provide new sim, as per the rule vodafone promised me to provide new simcard within 24 hour, but after one month they demanded 99 rupees which I was agreed, but now they are saying that my area is no service zone, where they can deliver bills, sell connections, install their towers, how it is a no service zone..?
I just want 2 know that weather vodafone is legal or as per the norms of telephone regulatory authority of India.
I just want to know that Government of India or TRI has declared such type of no service zone areas.
I WANT TO KNOW THAT GOVERNMENT OF INDIA OR ANY OTHER COMPETENT AUTHORITY DECLARED MINORITY DOMINATING AREAS AS NO SERVICE ZONE.
Because i lived in kaila bhatta ghaziabad, which is minority dominating area and vodafone is saying that is a no service zone area.

                        Dear sir,

I am Vodafone user and my Vodafone no. is [protected] and suddenly one day by mistake i pressed MCI services and Rs. 30 was deducted from my account. I immediately called their customer care number and Mr. Anish Mohd talked with me and he told me after deactivation of MCI services you will get your balance after 26 hours. As information provided by Vodafone customer care executive i deactivated the MCI service on same time and still my balance is not yet credited.

I have complaint against Vodafone that they have cheated with their customer by giving false information. May be they provide more such information to customer in other areas also for getting more money. They should be banned or penalties so that they would not be able to do it again in future with another consumers.

I have submitted the complaint also Vodafone care but there response was very poor.

Kindly take up the strict action against them.

                        Thanking you

                        Dear Vodafone Customer Care,

I am posting my complaint as your http://bit.ly/htKkQC is there just to make fun o[censored]s customers. It doesnt allow to register a complain no matter what you write.

Complain: I am active on BIS399 plan. However, since past 3 days internet/browsing is not working on my phone. It returns an error - "No Network Available". I have cross-verified with other Vodafone-Blackberry & Vodafone-iPhone users, they are facing the same situation. When I contacted your customer care, your rep told the error is in my phone - I know that is your standard answer when you donot want to accept your faulty network. Please resolve this ASAP or deposit Rs.399 back as my TalkTime. I do not want to waste money on a service that doesnt work. Also, let me know if you cant work it out so that I can make a decision to switch my Mobile Operator.

this site is just ridiculous. no matter how many times you try you can never be successful.

My complaint: i have changed plan from BIS299 to 599 last week but since then there is no Blackberry service available on my mobile. i'm tired of calling CC but no conclusive answer and none of your people was successful to provide the solution. i really think you ppl can not handle so many users. or this is indirect way to tell the customers please change the service provider.

                        Dear Sir,
I am sincerely drawing your kind attention to the pathetic service provided to one of your faithful and loyal customer who is now at the wits end.

Incase you care, as per the marketing gospel, I will with your kind permission narrate the facts to you, incase u care and need to help.

I had purchased a USB 2G stick, last year in july 2010. I had taken the unlimited plan and ;paid in advance 7499/- INR as per your plan. The whole year was ok, the stick gave me a lot of problems due to poor network. U can check my usage on the unlimited plan. When the time for renewal came, i was advised by your centre at Andheri west to await the first bill. I had informed them that i intend to change the plan to < 2GB as i did not intend to use it as extensively. I was told all would be done post the first bill....... Courtsey MR Sophian.

Post the first bill i was shocked when i was charged @ 899/- per month and an amount of 5512.80 was demanded. I once again approached the centre and was this time attended by Mr sonu and Mr Vishal ( The head). Both assured me that the bill will be adjusted and they worked out an amount of 4525/INR which i paid on the spot for the year and was assured that the amount and tariff would be corrected.

Now again a new bill has arrived demanding an additional amount of 1577.90, which includes tariff again @ 899 and late payment charges of 100/.

Can i know what is happening ? When i am clear right from day one that i am going for < 2 gb plan, paying the required amount for the full year. why am i being billed when your representatives either do not understand or do not put the proper request.

I request you to please do the needful and reverse the charges.

FYI i have 3 cell phones in my family and slowly we have shifted two of them to prepaid, thanks to the excess billing. courtsey [protected] and [protected]. The third one is in process [protected].

Please pay some attention to people who pay you in advance and still you penalize them. Let me also tell u that the USB 2 G stick is pathetic and the connectivity hopeless. I am fine if you refund the money in full as i do not intend using it. Please revert.

The best part is inspite of so many complaints the company has not come back even once.

                        Regards,

                        Dear sir,
Last month I have recharged my mobile on 9 august for the sum of RS. 502 which is a data plan and offers 500 mb free data usage 500 min talk time and 500 sms and was valid up to 8th september 2011 according to the message which received. Before for few days I use to get my balance through 84848484 which use to give me the balance status of my account.
from last few days I am not receiving that also.
Dear sir I had balance of 202 RS. on my account on 8th September and when I checked the balance on 9th morning it is – 571.81 that mean you have deducted RS. 775 RS. approx from my account.
when spoke over the telephone with the customer care they say they cannot do anything as your data plan expired on 7th september itself and the amount deducted is for the data you have used additionally.
                        Dear sir my point is
                        1. Why do your people say that my validity expired on 7th when my sms which I get from your co says it is valid till 8th September
                        2. Why did not I get any message that my plan has been expired and I will be charged additionally if I don’t renew it
                        3. How can you deduct my account and make my account negative by RS. 571,81 as we use prepaid card to limit our expenditure
Dear sir I need my money back and full refund of RS. 775 which you have unlawfully deducted from my account
Or else I will be reporting the matter with the relevant departments
                        Regards

I Manish Mishra, vodafone no. [protected] have been using Vodafone internet package of 100 MB for a monthly charge of rs 100. On 27th September I called up Vodafone and asked them if they have any higher package. To which the executive replied that they have a rs 350 plan which shall give me 1000 MB free every month to which I agreed with the conversion. And the executive confirmed me that it would be converted. When I received my bill I was shocked to see a huge bill for internet usage. When I called up to complain this and to know the reason for same.. they said that I had called on again on 28th and had requested for cancellation of my earlier request. I opposed it asii had not called up vodafone on 28th, and i asked for recording if i did. Then they agreed that no I had not called up on 28th. Then they said that since the 1000 MB free plan @ 375 was only for new customers it couldn't be activated in my plan and hence my plan was converted into zero rental where the usage charge for internet was very high. when I asked that with whose permission they have done that they had no answers, they admitted their mistake but they havent rectified their mistake as if now. All my calls are answered with vague replies.
It seems to me that the company may have wrong intentions such as if the customer doesn't note this ..he shall pay in full.
                        Please help.

Vodafone — Have cheated me of the advance payment that I made for the BlackBerry Service

When I had called the customer care, in the month of July, 2011, to check for any cheaper scheme, than the one I had for BlacBerry service, they said they did not have one. I had registered for a 6mth scheme with Vodaphone for BlacBerry service (Rs.2,499/- for 6mths). Immediately in a couple of days, I got to know of the same scheme being more cheaper (Rs.399/- per month) than what I had paid for. I called the customer care and even got the call escalated to the supervisor. I donot remember his name, as the call kept getting disconnected (so much for Vodaphone service) several times. I had spoken to a couple of supervisors (as the call kept getting disconnected & the agent couldnt connect me to the same supervisor again). That supervisor informed me that he will put me on to the Rs.399/- scheme and the advance payment of Rs.2,499/- would get adjusted against it, in my furture bills. I have been paying all my bills regularly since then. But after 3mths, when I checked my current bill (Bill for Oct, 2011), I realized I have been paying Rs.399/- as monthly charges for the BlackBerry service on my phone and the advance payment of Rs.2,499/- has not been getting adjusted against my monthly BlackBerry rentals. Therefore, I would like to make a complaint against Vodaphone, as they have been cheating their customers and have been enjoying the advance payment that I had paid in the month of July, 2011. And this is not the first time they have done this. Since the time Vodaphone has changed from Orange to Vodaphone, the company is absolutely NOT customer-friendly and are BIG Cheats.

                          Dear Sir/Madam

Need you help regarding this MNP issue and please look into this matter.
The Vodafone people are really troubling me to the extent they can by rejecting my port out request.

Details of this porting out request:
I have submitted my porting out request on 31 jan 2011 through airtel, After sometime I received message from Vodafone saying my porting out request is rejected due to contractual agreement with them. After calling customer care of Vodafone, they told me that I have to pay the bill, which I paid on 31st Jan itself.
After couple of hours, I received call from Vodafone mentioning I need to ask Airtel (to who I want to move after porting out from Vodafone) to send the porting request again. Which I did.
After 4 days I again came to know that Vodafone rejecting my porting out request and this time they forced me to visit the Vodafone store ( going to Vodafone store to and fro is 20 Km to me and it takes more than 2-3 hours for complete process) and this time Vodafone store in Indiranagr mentioned to me that my tariff plan is special (corporate plan) so I can not port out. This plan need to converted first to ordinary Vodafone plan and then only they will accept porting out request ( this was at
1;00 PM on Saturday, 05 feb 2011). The manager Vodafone agreed to me saying that I don't have to visit Vodafone store again and my request will be processed. Vodafone store gave me this reference number ,[protected]. And suggested me to ask airtel to send porting request again, which I did.

After 4 hours around 5 PM Saturday, 05 feb 2011, Vodafone executive informed me again that my porting out request is approved and I have to ask airtel to send the porting request.
On Sunday 06 feb 2011, at 16:28 I received the message from Vodafone saying my porting request VX112316 dated o6 feb11 is rejected due to the porting code does not match the donor allocated porting code for this number and I need to contact customer care.
This time I called again customer care and Vodafone executive mentioned me to go and contact Vodafone store.
This is really going beyond and everytime I am calling Vodafone customer care, the call goes for more than 25 minutes. In last calls twice it happened that kept me on hold for 15 min and 10 respectively.
If this is the way Vodafone behaves with customer, please suggest the best way to work with them and help me sort out this issue

Your help/interference in this issue will be highly appreciated.

                          Best regards

                          Complaint marked as Resolved

Vodafone — Porting out request rejected

                          Dear Sir,
Recently I have applied for transfer of mobile service from Vodafone to MTNL through MNP scheme. However Vodafone is not accepting porting out request and they have rejected my request with no specfic reason. They have sent me an SMS also confirming the rejection.

When I contacted Vodafone I was surprised to hear their response that, they will not allow to loose their customer so easily if customer doenot give valid reasons for switching the service.

When I said this is not ethical and correct practise, they again shamelessly replied that other service providers are also doing the same thing. Hence they will also do the same and will not accept for transfer if they are not convinced with my reasons.

The name of Vodane representative with whom i spoke is Mr. Hussian - Mob No. [protected]
I know, whatever they are doing is definetly not correct. Hence I want to escalate this matter to you for help. I earnestly urge you to help me and take strict action on Vodafone(Mumbai region) from doing such cheap practices.

                          Regards,
                          Kiran

people are complaining about other providers' customer helpline.
at least you get some live person on the line there.
in vodafone they will block your helpline access to speak to a live person and the ivr will keep looping back on itself.

The reason being is that i am quite fed up with the services provided by the vodafone store. Today i went to vodafone store Delhi/peeragarhi for number portability. But After waiting a long hour , One of the employee of vodafone named Mr. Nadeem call another customer irrespective of their numbers in the queue. When i said that sir its my turn he simply said , in rude manner that sit here for 10 minutes .
Then Mr Nadeem said on my turn that sir we don't have number portability form and come tomorrow. Then i said will you please call you senior and even after that no one came to resolve my problem. Then i went to cabin of Mr. Sachin Verma a team leader in vodafone center. The same answer i got from them and then i said will you please confirm that tomorrow i will get number portability form. He again said that you need to come tomorrow but there is no surity. And even after that he also that if you are going to complain anywhere , i don't care and all the complains are forwarded to us only. I was very much shocked after getting this response from vodafone store peeragarhi.

I am looking forward to resolve this problem.

                            Thanks and regards

                              Hi,

I have submitted all the required documents to airtel to migrate from Vodafone postpaid to airtel postpaid and got the SIM as well. But number is not yet ported to airtel. When i called airtel for the first time they said my request has been rejected saying "UPC is invalid" and they asked me to contact Vodafone. When i contacted Vodafone they said i have not paid my billed amount, so they have not yet started the process. After i paid the bill they have started the process and asked me to wait for 7 days, but now they are telling i am in a different plan(CUG, Enterprise 99 plan),so i have to move back to regular plan then only they can port the number. But according to TRAI there is no rule about the Tarif plans. Looks like Vodafone is fooling customers. Please look into this issue.

                              Thanks,
                              Mahesh

I have been using vodafone no [protected] for past 3 years. All these 3 years vodafone has troubled me a lot. I had bought campus pack. Without any notice my campus pack was converted to normal card. One particular day they even stopped my no saying me that this no has been given to someone else. And I hav to buy a new no. After complaining to senior department I got my same no. Now with the introduction of mobile no portability I have decided to move to airtel because retaining the no is o[censored]tmost importance to me. I fillef mnp form in airtel after getting code from vodafone. Today morning I get msg frm vodafone that I cannot port because vodafone has given me some free minutes and the reason they cited was contractual obligitatoons. Firstly I never asked for free minutes. Now when I called helpline around 8 times they have been just transferring my calls without any assistamce. Requesting you to please look into the matter at earliest. Thanks. Maroof fajandar

                                    Vodafone rejecting my MNP application
I am using vf no [protected] TN for the last 2 yrs . And i want to change my mobile operator Through mobile number portability from vf to Tata Docomo.

But i received a message from from vf rejecting my porting . Because of Contractual obligation. Actually in my case there is no contractual obligation with VF because mine was an individual normal postpaid connection. Called VF CC but they are not responding my query, rather asked me questions as to why I am porting .MNP is a customer right. but here vf is denying that right for me.

                                    Please Help

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a Vodafone mobile connection [protected] which I wish to port on Reliance communication. On 29/01/201, I submit the application along with all required documents at Reliance branch. On the same day I got SMS from Relianace and Vodafone as follows:

                                        From Reliance:
                                        [protected]----
"Dear Customer, we have received your request to enroll mobile no. 98113756t55 in Reliance Network. It will be processed shortly. Reliance".

                                        From Vodafone:
                                        [protected]----
"Hello! we have received your Porting Request VD119893 dated 29jan 11. We will validate your request and will revert on confirmation by 96hrs TAT from the time we received the request from MCH"

On 03/02/2011, I got another SMS from vodafone confirming the approval of my request as follows:
"Hello! Your Porting Request VD119893 dated 29jan 11 has been approved. We will communicate the Porting date and time shortly"

After that SMS my SIM is deactived by Vodafone and the SIM provided by Reliance is still in Inactive state. I called the Vodafone customer care to lodge a complaint but CCR refused to lodge and told me that everything is fine and submitted from Vodafone end. So please contact Reliance. When I contacted Reliance Sector 14 branch they told me that there is issue at MNP authority and they are trying best and following the case with MNP authority. As per Reliance guys he can not commit the timeline when this issue would be resolved as this issue is not at there end. Even that CCR guy showed me his mobile and facing the same issue (invalid SIM )

Could you please let me know where I can register my complaint and how can clarify where is the real issue? Who is the real culprit Vodafone / Reliance / MNP Authority?

Please help me (this mobile number is my lifeline and I am suffering a big loss due to deactivated SIM)

                                        Thanks,
                                        Dheeraj Singh
