Hi,

My phone number[protected] was charged 2800 rupees for internet usage. The story goes as follows:

- I bought Vodafone connection and requested the minimum 2g plan to be activated which was for 199/-
- The guy says he will do it and to use it after 24 hours
- I did that and Vodafone activated 3g for me without notifying me, which switched off the 2g plan
- I used 3g, honestly I did!
- They deactivated 3g without notifying me.
- They put me on to the DEFAULT plan which charges me per KB.
- I get a huge bill and that exceeds my credit limit and my phone is disconnected.
- I go and speak to manager Dinesh at Sakivihar Vodafone store and he registers a complaint saying he cannot do anything.
- Durgesh Chaudhary from the complaint department calls me after 6 days saying he will get it reversed by speaking to manager Deepika at Vodafone Byculla Store. He said he will mail her and get the reversal of 2000/- processed (as I had already paid the 800 then) and paid 200 today.
- Two calls from the Vodafone billing department asking me to pay the bill, I informed them as well about the issue and they said they will look into it, still looking!

Its been 3 weeks and nothing has happened about it. WHOLE LOT OF FALSE PROMISES. I have spoken to Deepika the manager at Byculla and she promised me a reversal a week back. I have reminded them every day and they did nothing at all. After having 5 connections in the family, this is all I get.

This email is sent with high hopes as I (or anyone for that matter) would never like to pay 2000 Rupees for something that was not my fault, not my request not my intentional usage!

Vodafone — Never Bought Number before In My life

Respected Sir/Madam, It is requested that I have never bought this number [protected] before in my life this number was fraud Suspected number when I was receiving bills of that number I have informed also in your Vodafone store Sec 35/C to Mr. Ashish..& he told me that I'll not receive bill from next month onwards & still your company was providing services to that number & now your company has added my name in default list due to non payment of the bill around 900 something ..So please adjust the amount of that number & delete my name from the default list please don't keep my name in default list...I shall be very thankful to you for this...

Vodafone — Charged 2000 in Bill for something not used

I Faizullah Kazi baring Mobile no # [protected] has been billed erroneously by Vodafone for I - Phone charges of Rs 2000/- where I am not even using an I Phone or have not bought the I Phone from them. I changed my plan to corporate billing on 29th September after which they have charged me this & despite of numerous calls to Customer Care Team in Vodafone nothing has been done yet. When spoke to an advisor in Vodafone he confirmed that I have not used this service at all & said will check this however its been a month now & nothing has been done. I am using the above number from past 10 years now with no issue & would not like this number to get disconnected. Request you to kindly help in this.

We have ONLY cheaters in this land-of saints and culturally-forward nation.

I have today received a data bill of Rs 7114/- from Vodafone. My usage never exceeds 3 GB in a month. My maximum data bill has never exceeded Rs 947/-. This is the first time in my life that I am receiving such a bill. I thought it is my credit limit! Checking the August itemised bill and my itemised usage logs available on my data-SIM shows a large difference.

My data-SIM usage log shows 2.16 GB usage which is well within the free limit of 3 GB I am allowed in a month. I will take help of Dhaval Valia who had taken Vodafone to task some months ago publicly.

Therefore, buyer beware. This is a country where cheaters can be found wholesale. Vodafone o[censored]K has once again found a fertile soil to set up business and practise cheating gullible customers. Law and Disorder is the Order of everyday. Institutions don't give a damn to law or ethics. Therefore, keep your eyes and ears open. It is a best policy to always opt for PRE-PAID rather than POST-PAID. You remain in control of costs. Else Vodafone ki jay aur apki sazaa.

    This is with regard to sudden disconnection of my number. A major lapse of service operator lead to unknown scenario

    My Number [protected] suddenly got disconnected without my knowledge. This was a shock for the day as my number was not accessible. On calling customer care 3-4 times they told that the SIM had been lost. It was an astonishing statement as the SIM was very much with me. I requested them that my SIM is with me and it is not lost and I have not registered any complaint. But they forced me to visit the nearest Vodafone store to reactivate my number.
    Finally I visited the Vodafone store leaving behind all my work and meeting schedule in between. The justification given to me was that they got a call from a number ( [protected]) for the SIM lost.
    Before taking any action Vodafone did not do any verification for that number neither took any initiative to check whether the SIM was in use or really lost.
    On many request Vodafone provided that number from where they got a call. On contacting that number owner of the number confirmed that he did not lodged any complaint or called the Vodafone and they even don't know anything related to me.
    To know exactly why this was all done I asked them for the call recording for the complaint lodged. They assured to provide me with recording. But after assurance they did not provide recording. After visiting the Vodafone store three to four times and many communication with the nodal officers they now refused that they have any recording. On basis of which it can easily be judged that this was a mistake of any Vodafone executive.

      I have bought vodafone sim under CUG program. I have clearly said to the executive i no need of internet package and executive has striked out the space for the GPRS activation. Inspite of this, I have received two bills indication charges for GPRS one for Rs. 315 and the other one for Rs.189. Upon mailing and customer they refuse to take complaints. One day the vodafone executive call me and inform to pay the usage charges except GPRS charges. I have paid the remaining usage amount except GPRS. But now, they are asking me to pay GPRS and informing we will provide you waiver of Rs. 200. Kindly let me know what has to be done in this situation.

        Recharge — no coupon,no recharge

        i have checked in to your offer Rs 100 recharge for Rs 50, the transaction is done through my HDFC credit card, i have noot received any coupon or my mobile is not recharged for the same, hence we already paid through HDFC pl refund or recharge.

              Sir, I Harsh Bhalotia called vodafone care regarding new postpaid connection they sent a agent to our place who provided us the new sim card and took required documents and also security money of Rs 250. His name is Rohan and his contact no. is [protected]. Now 10 days have passed but my no. is still not activated and the agent is not answering to my calls. i even contacted vodafone care on phone and went to vodafone Store also but they also said that talk to the agent we cant help. The new no. provided to me by that agent is [protected] and was issued on 16.02.2013.

              This is requested to you to look into the matter and kindly activate my no. or otherwise give me status of my complaint so that i can switch over to other network and take new no. because its already too late.

                Since December, from my vodafone number I'm unable to send messages to any number. I have visited Vodafone stores and they said everything is correct on my handset and asked me to reissue a new sim of my number. I have applied for new sim but still the problem is same. Everytime I call Customer care, they repeat same steps and nothing happens afterwards. I dont know why it is happening with me Wihtout message service I can not even apply for Mobile portability.

                Vodafone — Problem not solved

                Hi,

                This is Rajeev Anand handphone number [protected].



                I got a new Vodafone postpaid connection.

                I am not satisfied with the services of vodafone, I took this connection on 2nd of Aug & my connection got activated on 5th Night as promised it should be activated in 48hr but after speaking to the zonal head Mr. Subrath i was able to use mine services.



                Since then i have been making complaints:



                1. I am not able to connect to the postpaid section when i dial the customer care number

                2. My bill was generated within 2 days without even using the services.

                3. I complained on your customer care also for which i received a sms after one day that mine

                problem has been rectified; but the problem was not solved after which i personally visited your

                JMD Tower Gurgaon vodafone store where i met Mr. Rajan and filed a complaint against which

                he send a mail in my presence to the concerned department which was on 8-Aug-2008



                Till now none of the problems has been rectified.



                I want vodafone to compensate me for wasting mine TIME, ENERGY & FUEL.

                I would really appreciate if you take a immediate action.

                I too use VODAFONE postpaid. It is the worst service provider in the world and moreover they are a CHEAT. Even though i paid my bills, they have still not started my service. NEVER take their POST PAID connection. Even if you die in your attempt to stop the connection, it will never happen.

                    Vodafone does not value the money and concern of its customers. I wanted to recharge internet pack on my mobile and was trying for the same in morning through my mobile. I tried getting internet package activated through code dial in facility that vodafone offers with *111*95#. When I tried to dial this code and press call button it showed some error....i tried again and again it was showing some error. After 30 odd mins I received a message from Vodafone that my internet package has been activated and RS 95 has been deducted. However I received same message again within next 5 mins. And my balance was now just RS 4. Not only Vodafone charged me twice for the same thing but when I tried calling up them for raising my concern they said that whatever I am saying is right but still they cannot credit back my money as their stupid policy does not allow to do that. And the customer care executive who attended my call was impolite and rude in his approach. He had no interest in listening to my concern...so forget about adressing it.
                    But how illogical is that???? they can charge us extra for anything but just cannot return our money..
                    Really disappointing for me as on daily basis i get a call a vodafone saying that I am their priviledge customer and they value my time and money....but after this incident i think this is utter nonsense....!!!!
                    Vodafone i am deactivating my caller tunes services as well since i don't want you to earn a single penny from my money.

                      hi this is basawareddy i recharged 10 RS amt through the net banking on 24-feb-2013 between 9 pm to 10pm that 10 RS AMT was diducted from my bank a/c but after recharge 10 Rs 7 Rs talk time supposed to credited to my mobile balance a/c but it was not happened , i called to vodafone customer care but the customer care operator told me that i had not recharged

                        Dear Sir,

                        This grievance was of my vodafone mobile. I am using this No. with Vodafone from last 6 years almost. I was enjoying a half local call rates pack of Rs. 25/- per month, in which my local calls get half the rates. I had one another pack of Rs. 30/- per month for free 300 SMS. This Rs. 25/- pack was suddenly deactivated from my no. without my consent which had increased my bill 2 fold times.

                        Since than I am trying to file the complaint of the same with vodafone but they are adamant to do the same. I even visited vodafone store but they were also of no use. No one is even ready to file a complaint and give me a complaint no. My complaint is that my Rs. 25/- half call rates pack was deactivated without my consent by just sending me a message, which some of them claims to send on 2 Oct 2012, and some on 11 Oct and 15th Oct 2012. Which although I havent seen. And this in turn has increased my bill to 2 fold times. This is a clear case of cheating and malafide intentions of vodafone. As though they new my local calls are more than local sms, so they deactivated the same to gain intentional benefits.

                        I demand vodafone to charge me according to that Rs. 25/- pack till date as though I was using it according to that plan only. I am also ready to shift to another plan from next billing cycle if that pack isnt provided me now and charges for till date is charged according to as above.

                        I wont pay this inflated bill generated of malafied intentions on my no in any case. I am ready to pay the genuine charges according to that pack if I am given the new bill according to that plan. Please look into the matter and do the needful as soon as possible, as my outgoing is barred from last week and work is hampered. Note: I am not willing to shell any penny more than the genuine charges according to that pack. Else I wont pay any and leave my no suspended.

                        Vodafone — charges without consent

                        deducting Rs3 per day in the name of messeges without any consent. Lot of times visited their store in faridabad at B.K chowk but services is still not deactivated on my mobile no [protected] and I loose Rs 3 per day .Really fed up with the vodafone and if there is no solution i will change the provider

                          As I am using Vodafone services form past 8-9 years. I am having two postpaid connections from Vodafone company. I think its time for me to move on from Vodafone.
                          I am having some problem with [protected] bill for 20-09-12 to 19-10-12. I was using internet facility @199/- per month from past four years. I requested to drop this service in Sept-2012 Month. Next bill I have received in which you have charged Rs.4342/- for usage .
                          Later i tried to get this bill adjusted many from vodafone but none of customer care executive helped me out for the same and they barred my services even i am not able to receive the calls on that number ([protected]).
                          Now they are threatening me that I have to pay whole amount otherwise they will drop the the services for my another postpaid number of Vodafone. This is like mental harassment for me. I need the solution because this is really pathetic for me.


                          This is no where logical as they are offering @2 paisa per 10 KB and charging 5 times more of that.



                          I am no more satisfied with the way of services of Vodafone. I want this bill to be adjusted and let me move to other service provider

                          requested for bills from aug 07 - dec 07 5 times, not recvd till date....called up several times never recvd a call back...pathetic service...can any1 dothe needful b4 i finally d/c

                          I am having some problem with [protected] bill for 20-09-12 to 19-10-12. I was using internet facility @199/- per month from past four years. I requested to drop this service in Sept-2012 Month. Next bill I have received in which you have charged Rs.4342/- for usage .
                          Later i tried to get this bill adjusted many times via telephonic conversation with Vodafone but none of customer care executive helped me out for the same and they barred my services even i am not able to receive the calls on that number ([protected]).
                          Now they are threatening me that I have to pay whole amount otherwise they will drop the the services for my another postpaid number of Vodafone. This is like mental harassment for me. I need the solution because this is really pathetic for me.


                          This is no where logical as they are offering @2 paisa per 10 KB and charging 5 times more of that.



                          I am no more satisfied with the way of services of Vodafone. I want this bill to be adjusted and let me move to other service provider

                          Today I received a call from vodafone([protected]). They said that they will not adjust even a single paisa. Do what ever you can... This is like GUNDARAJ.

                          I am also facing a similar kind of problem and i have some questions for you Vodafone...Please answer if possible.
                          1. What is credit limit if you are still charging more than that.
                          2. Why your representative calls in and provide wrong information.
                          3. How can you disconnect the number if the bill has not been generated and you are not sure if that can be your fault.
                          4. How can some use 4.7 GB without even downloading a single MB and that too on 2G internet.

                          My questions are not over and like Amit Malik, i am going to fight till the end and I am ready for any legal action as it was you who provided me wrong information and there is a lack in your process who generates so much bill even if you have credit limit.
                          I owned 3 numbers with Vodafone [protected], [protected], [protected] and all are corporate numbers and i am going to disconnect all these numbers and will make sure that i can spread this as much as i can.
                          If you guys can resolve my problem than thats wonderful else i will raise my voice @ my corporate level, Your highest level and the government and legal level.

                            Hi, this mail is regarding my bill of period[protected] to[protected] for my Vodafone No. [protected] ,in that there r many charge which r unnecessarily and fraudly charged.They r as follow:

                            1) in my bill one std 100 min free severice @50 is been activate seen NOV without my permission and trusting vodafone i was never checking my bill , today when i check my bill i came to know vodafone such a big company is charging me money fraudly since so many months.

                            2) In my bill there are so many nos. which is been showing on what i have never called and which nos. even does not exist.U guys have fraudly add so many nos on my local as well as when i was in roaming . For example[protected] this no does not exist nor i have called this no. anytime u have shown in my bill more then 10 times and there r so many nos. like this.

                            3) In my bill no. on what i have called once in a day ,u have shown repeatedly 3 - 4 times . For example this no.[protected] this no on date 19/1/2013 u have shown calls 4 times a day where as i have called once.

                            4) In SMS also u have charged fraudly 2 times u have charged sms for my no. only and there r 2 no.which does no exist out of 6 sms 4 r fraudly nos. add to my bill.

                            5) On your toll free no. 198 nobody was ready to take my complaint.What type of services u provide being such a big company dont even help your customer in solving their problem.

                            I want quick feedback of my complain, otherwise being your loyal customer since so many year i will loose faith in vodafone and i have to take strict actions against this.And even i will be force to switch to other network.

                            Vodafone — unknowingly deducting charges of phone calls

                            dear sir my mobile number is [protected]. i have been trying the customer care number to talk to the executives but its doesn't have the option for that. i m getting sms regarding deduction of daily rental for cheap local and STD calls though i have not applied for the same .

                              I was holding vodafone Postpaid and opted for 1GB free download free data service for 98 rupees 7 months everything went fine and after seven months my postpaid connection got cut off .When i ask with customer care they said due to excess of data usage your credit limit got exceeded. So the connection was cut.My credit limit is 2000 Rs.But i didnt get any reminder when crossing 2000.Exceeded data usage was 500 MB. for each MB there is Rs 10.So 5000 RS for 500MB. And they didnt cut the connection when Rs.2001 came.They cut the connection after it reaches 5000. If the credit limit amount is used for limitting usage then Why vodafone didnt send any reminders.Now they are making scam calls to the numbers in the statement.What a silly behaviour.

                              The worst service provider in Mobikle services in india is Vodafone i say.

                                I have changed my service in vodafone from prepaid to postpaid, all the formalities about verification were completed on 18 feb. 2013. Then my service was running smoothly but, on 22 feb. 2013, the service was stopped, so i visited vodafone store and made it started. Then again on next day on 23 feb. 2013 vodafone services was stopped without any reason. I visited again the same store, and did the same procedure repeatedly. But, the situation is as it is... Now i am being herested by this service provider by stopping the vodafone post paid services on my mobile number ([protected]) and i haven't received many important calls. My world became like earth is stopped revolving.
                                Kindly solve at the earliest.

                                  My Vodafone number "+91 [protected]" has been allotted to some other customer by vodafone store, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi.

                                  In fact the above said number, which actually belongs to me, was allotted to Jai Prakash Verma who was owning +91 [protected]. So, probably the mistake was due to last two digits 64 Vs 46.

                                  But when I informed vodafone customer care about this issue as soon as I learned about it and requested to block the number immediately as it may be misused. They assured me to block the number in 2 hours but they did not do that even after having promised to do.

                                  This is a serious blunder committed by vodafone staff. Firstly, not making double sure while allocating a number to anybody (whether the same no. is already in use) and secondly not blocking the number when the actual owner of the connection is requesting to block it (after having furnished all the details asked by the customer care staff necessary to block the number) to avoid any misuse.

                                  What if some anti social elements or may be a terrorist happens to misuse the number? Who would pay for it?

                                  I would like to know what checks vodafone has in system to prevent such blunders, if it is really serious about company's compliance to certain quality standards, which vodafone may be documenting through certain audits and other quality checks from time to time?

                                  I would like to understand why should not a harsh penalty be imposed on Vodafone for taking such issues so lightly and playing with security of customers?

                                  Vodafone — Assigned allocated no. to other customer

                                  I had purchased a vodaphone new SIM card no. [protected] from Chakala, Andheri, Mumbai Office almost 1 month back. Paid 100 Rs for SIM and they said they will need some document. I had provide them the same next day. After that they said that the SIM will be activated in 4 hrs. I was chasing them for almost a week and still no conclusive reply from them. After another week I ask about the status in their customer care and found that they gave the no. to some other customer.

                                    I Have been using my vodafone number past 5 years but due to unavoidable circumstances i was not using my number from last few months.I had used my number last was in the first week of December. The in January i decided to use number regularly and i realized that there was no service on my phone. I immediately called vodafone customer care and told them about the issue. They told me that its a new number and i should submit my documents to activate it. I conveyed to them that i have that number past 5 years so its not a new number. They did not have answer to it but they told me to just resubmit documents to the nearest vodafone store and number would be activated. I went to vodafone store and told the issue to the executive. But he told me that the number has been recycled and allotted to someone else. I was disappointed and asked then how could they do so. He told if the number is not active for 45 days it will be recycled. I then tried calling that number to check who has been allotted with my number. Luckily the number was still out of service,so i called customer care again and told them that it looks like number is still not been allotted so i would wanted my number back and i am ready to submit all documents. So they told then i can go to the vodafone store and submit all documents and request for a duplicate sim. But when i went to the vodafone store the executive told me that number is in idle state and is allotted some Gulbarga store so he cant help it.

                                    I am really disappointed with Vodafone for this as they did not bother to intimate me even through mail. Just to get new customers they cannot just ignore existing customers. I have all my banks connected to me through my vodafone number. Even my bank statements go to that number.And also i have some professional connection connected only through that number.As the number is not yet allotted to any person i am sure vodafone should be able to give my number back to me. Please help me to get my number back.

                                        Vodafone Recharge — Recharge amount reduced as what was promised.

                                        I got a message on 20th April 2010 that a full talk-time of Rs. 150.00 is available on a recharge of Rs. 150.00 by Vodafone mobile service provider.

                                        I got my cell phone recharged through Vodafone website by entering the recharge amount as Rs. 150.00 but the system automatically converted that amount to Rs. 151.00 and I got a talk time of Rs. 134.89 only.

                                        I made a complaint to the Vodafone complaint number 198 on 20th April 2010 at around 11 o'clock in the night, and the customer care person, who attended my call, assured me that this issue will be rectified and the balancing amount will be credited to my account within 24 hrs.

                                        Now the customer care person is saying that complaint is closed now and no balancing amount will be credited.

                                        My concern : If Vodafone is giving full talk time out of Rs. 150.00 and I am paying Re 1.00 extra (that too not my fault, the system automatically converted the recharge amount from Rs. 150.00 to Rs. 151.00) and in return I am getting lesser talk time.
                                        Does it make sense anyway?

                                        Please look in this matter as I feel I am being cheated.
                                        Please sort out this issue at the earliest and let the balancing amount be credited to my Vodafone account as early as possible.

                                        Vodafone — Recharge amount not credited

                                        I wanted to recharge SMS pack and the retailer has recharged with Rs.21 (Transaction ID[protected]) and the message received was "Your has been refilled successfully by INR0.09 and balance was showing 222.87”.
                                        When I have sent sms to my 14 friends my account deducted by Rs.21 @ 1.50 per SMS
                                        Than I have discussion with Customer Care Executive and that person was not able to clear the thing and disconnected the call.
                                        I am little disturbed with this act of the company and their commitment towards service to customer.
                                        Kindly do the needful.

                                        for Rs. 220.00 through netbanking from my a/c no. [protected]
                                        The Bank A/c is debited but mobile not recharged
