I am so annoyed with the kind of customer service Vodafone provides. I called them many a times to get my number [protected] disconnected but they are so scripted (people at customer service), that they keep on reading their script and waster ur time ignoring the fact you have called in for.

Biling cycle was suppose to start from 24 Feb, I called before that to get my number doisconnected and after all the struggle on the call I was given the assurance that the number will be disconnectd. 4 days later I received a call saying that full and final payment of 756 is to be paid. I made myself very clear that this is the final amount and so paid it yesterday as per the due date. Now when I called in yesterday to confirm about disconnection of serviceas they said the number was suspended on 8th Mar and from 24th Feb to 8th Mar rental amount if to paid which is the final amount. Now this is really annoying and I refuse to pay even a sigle penny more for this number- [protected].

I have already paid the charges which were not genuine just to get rid of their services and the bill amt 756 included the charges which were not suppose to be levied. Now again I am not going to be the victim of any further illegal charges. As and when asked to disconnect the service, if service not being disconnected then that's not the customets problem and customer wont bear the consequences.

Hopeless people at customer service and pathetic service.

Now the bill amount is 205, which I refuse to pay not even a single penny will be paid to them from my end.

    I WAS HAVING PREPAID SIM I GOT A CALL FROM VODAFONE TELLING THAT WE HAVE A VERY GUD POST PAID SCHEME FOR U. ITS A PLAN FOR RS399.

    BEFORE AGREEING FOR THE PLAN I PERSONALLY CALLED THE ASSOCIATE MANY TIMES I WAS TOLD SAME FEATURES EACH TIME

    BUT ALL WENT OPPOSITE MY NUMBER WAS BARRED ,INFORMING ME DAT I HAVE CROSSD MY LIMIT OF.RS800....

    I CALLED THE CS SERVICE AND WAS INFRMD THAT THERES NO SUCH PLAN ....I FELT CHEATED I TOLD THEM SEND MY BILL TAKE THE PMT AND SIM AS WELL BUT INSTEAD OF DOING THAT I RECVD A MSG SAYING UR CREDIT LIMIT IS INCREASD TO 1800....

    I was promised a plan without the monthly rent and clip charges but were surprised to see that both had been levied in the bill.
    I gave a written complaint but no reply/action was taken.
    Also i have not received answer to my mails.
    When i took up the issue with customer care they told me that the person who had sold me the plan was a DSA (outside agency) and they were not responsible for any fabrication by him.
    I have advised them that i took the said plan from a vodafone outlet at a metro station but have been advised to pay the full amount.
    I am extremely aggrived at the callous attitude.

    Vodafone — non receipt of itemised bills -Reg

    My mobile phone number is [protected] post paid connection i am regular bill paying custmore. In this month i have not yet received itemised bills so far. I did not paid bills due to looking bill is very high. Hence, i request you to send me itemised bills immediately so that i can enable to pay the bill of current month without late fee. I am reminding local dealer but he did not get so far. please look into this matter personally and send the bills immediately.

    Dear Sirs

    I had travelled to Ireland last month. I had asked for International Roaming to be activated on my mob [protected] on 25th Feb 2008

    When in Dublin I realised my mob had not been activated to any network there. On complaint thru landline I was told to try various means of activating, switch off and on, selecting network manual and automatic etc. But it never worked even though vodafone serves in that area

    After complaing on landline for 3 days, I purchased a local vodafone sim card +[protected] and then my phone worked

    I am surprised to receive my mob bill of 04.03.08 in which I have been charged Rs 149 for International Roaming service that never got activated. Instead I had to incur extra expenses in foreign currency to make landline phonecall complaints toIndia and also on purchase of a local sim card

    Though I am paying the March bill under protest, I would request you to waive off this amount and credit me the same

    (a)Once you rechrge your STV in advance, it is not activated. It will be activated only when earlier STV validity is over. Is't it funny in the era of computers?
    (b)Once you recharge your bonus card of Rs 100/=, a SMS says "Aap ka bonus card(35) ---- tak manya hai, Aaj recharge kiye gaye bonus card ke liye 24 ghante baad dobara bonus card (35/60/100) likhkar 144 pe bheje.
    bonus card (35/60/100) or a lot of combination one can try, the return SMS is wrong keyword enter, enter right keyword.
    What is right keyword?
    I have sent mail to corporate care for the change of my plan to corporate plan in feb 2008, as per the confirmatory message received on customer care i was informed that i will be switched to corporate plan which offers 1000 mins free to vodafone numbers and 1000 SMS free as given to Hughes Escorts Communication ltd on 24 feb 2008 but now i have been charged with tariff of Hughes Super Plan 399, I have called several times on the customer care and after speaking with the customer care officers for 30 mins at a strecth, no resolution has been achived, its the height of mental harrasment i have to go through.

One fine morning, when it was still Hutch(now it is vodafone), I made STD call for 21 minutes, and to my shock I was charged 50+ bucks, when I called up customer care, they apologised for the unintended plan change and promised me of refunding the lost amount, but it never happened.
    For the second time in succession, when Hutch became Vodafone, one morning I ended up paying 30+ bucks for a mere 10 mins STD call and this time around I was shocked with cutomer care explanation that my plan has been changed to base plan since Vodafone has decided to discontinue 455 plan suddenly, and I was told of some rubbish 88 plan to go for.
    I had made a payment of 1000 in october in two installmensts, in two installments of 500 each on the same day.One payment was recorded and tghe other which was made an hour later was not. So i submitted the receipt number and faxed it to them for which i obviously din't get any reply.
    the service centre assured me later that the matter will be looked into and the bill will be updated, but it was not, and im still paying the late payment cahrges on that as well as im yet 2 recieve that 5oo reversal back.Also they charge me very month with voadfone live services.After being fed up I asked the Customer help represntative to get it deactivated himself, he did it by himself and showed me and asked me 2 be rest assured.ven today i m paying for dat deactivated services too.And the reversals they promise is never given. they promised me a reversal of 1000 of which i got 300 sactioned, which im still awaiting from the last two months.im fixed...customers reading pllzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz don't be fooled by them.Lets stand up against them.Plese help me in any way you could.

    I am using a postpaid connection and my billing plan is Rs 250 monthly and as per the plan details I get 500 local mobile to mobile calls and after thAT I am charged at 30 paise per minute but from last two months I am wrongly charged for all my callls at 60 paise per minute instead of 30 paise. Is there any law by which these private companies can be checked for their will????

    Vodafone — Wrong messages

    Dear Sir,
    I the undersigned is a customer of Vodafone (No.[protected])since February, 2007. Recently I received SMS from Vodafone that if you recharge with Rs.701/- You ll get talktime of Rs.891/-. The additional talktime will be credited in 24 hours.I also confirmed the same with your customer care and then recharged Rs701/-on 13.11.2008. However, to my utter surprise I have not got the additional talktime veen after lapse of 2 days. Then I enquired with the Customer care, but they came up with a different story and told that my target is Rs.829/- and if I will recharge with that amount additional talktime of Rs.91/- will be credited to my account. I could not understand this as there was no mention about any conditions and about Rs.829/- and Rs.91/- in the 1st message whatever I had received. Further, since last 2 days i.e. 17.11.08 and 18.11.08 I have received two SMSs from Vodafone that you recharge with Rs.90/- and you will get talktime of Rs.169/-. The additional talktime will be credited within 24 hours. Since I am already cheated in the previous instance, I want to check up the authenticity of these messages frowarded by Vodafone.
    From the above, it is evidently clear that I am cheated by vodafone. I expect your early response in thsi regard please, otherwise I will be constrained to take legal course of action for cheating the customers.

    In February 2008, I have taken an addition cell connection no #[protected]. Unfortunately, I was admitted to hospital on 28th March 2008 to 24 April 2008 for heart attack. On 2nd April I had call up your office on 111 to discontinue the connection #[protected]. Since we are not going to utilize. I had requested to cancellation of the connection to one of the Telephone exc. She had informed me that she had taken care to do the needful in the matter. Since the line was disconnected and not received any bills till date (18.11.2008) for this cell No:[protected], I had presumed that the matter is not pending any more.

    Last week, I had received a call from one the call centre…that there is one bill pending for Rs. 673/-, to my surprise the language used by the person of call of very bad taste and tempted me to do the police complain against that person. Since I had read bad name of service centers of ICICI bank & HDFC bank, if I act the manner in which they compelled me to act was restrain for my beloved company “Vodafone”. Since I am one of old customer, I thought it might be mistake on the part of the company to appoint such nonsense persons who are spoiling the name of the company.

    Since I have received one more massage that my main line[protected] will be disconnected if I do not pay the money Rs. 673/-. If my intention was not proper than I would have not taken another last month connection No:[protected]. I would take in another name from OUR VODAFONE or other company.

    Looking to my above fact kindly waive the undue bill to me and restore my line for cell no:[protected].

    I hope you will kindly consider looking to past relation and circumstances in which you had charged. Without sending me any bills for last 8 months.

    vodafone is happy to make money only, they are not good at service they are not good at network, the customer care people doest know how to respond, what ever you ask they will tell you same mugging answer, no body will take responsibility. take my case I lost my mobile I have raised a complaint to block the post paid sim, they have not blocked it now I applied for disconnection Now they are demanding for the amount after I applied for the sim blcok request.

    Vodafone — Charge Monthly rental in Advance without informing me

    I am using vodafone services for past 3 years (approx). My phone bill is generated on 24th of every month. I am working in a company in Gurgaon. I marked vodafone a mail from my companies email ID to
    change my services to corporate plan (Rs 199 Monthly Rental). They changed my plan on 26th of November 2008. The phone bill was already generated on 24th of November. They charged me the previous monthly rental that I was using before as well as Rs 199 monthly rental (Corporate Plan) for that
    month (24th Nov-23rd Dec). They never informed me that I’d have to pay Rs 199 monthly rental and the previous monthly rental both for that month. Its not possible for me to pay this much of amount and I
    don’t find I logical if the plan is changed. I spoke to them but they are not ready to remove previous monthly rental.

    I changed my vodafone services to corporate plan because I was finding it difficult to pay Rs 1000 (Sometimes more) for a month. Even after changing my plan I've to pay the same amount just because of the mistake done by the company. I think there is no such rule that any company can sell their product or services to any consumer without giving the complete information.

    I need your help to solve this problem. Please advise.

    Vodaphone is facility is very bad. Because before some days I got Vodafone connection after submit all paper & all documents but number are not activate.     Vodafone failed to raise the bill on my Citibank Card resulting in non-payment of due date. They therefore charged me Rs.100 for late payment charges.

    In my mobile i have insert hutch sim card & my actual balance was Rs.218.5 aprox, I have downlod a real tone(size 440KB) after downloading my balance is Rs.11.75 aprox, I complaint to hutch by mobile, but one lady from hutch told that u have download java software & other related software, but i have told i hav'nt download such type of thing but she told you have downloaded and it cost is 99 +99 & some extra charges after that she cuts the mobile phone.
    I am Vodafone customer from Thane, Maharahtra for last 4 to 5 years & my Mobile no is [protected].
    I had disconnected my service on Oct 08 as I was going abroad & paid 500Rs to the company to retain my number fro 1 year as per their standard rule.
    I cam back & restarted the service from 3rd March 09. All these inactive months the company has charged me & had sent bills to my home.
    I visited the Vodafone store @ Manpada – Thane & cleared their misunderstanding & they assured me that no outstanding are balance & fresh billing will be started from 3Rd March onwards.

    Still I received the bill of March 09 indicating balance payments for the months when the service was disconnected & they had stopped my incoming & outgoings, which was reconnected after my personal visit to their Manpada store & speaking to Mr. sunny who readjusted the bill of March 09 verbally & I paid the bill before the due date .

    Mr. sunny assured me that there is no outstanding balance from my side & hence forth no service will be stopped from this mobile no.

    Again I started receiving SMS, emails & voice messages stating overdue of payments & the service will be disconnected for non payments.

    I am totally upset with this behavior of the company.

    I've been pursuing this complaint since January this year. I got Vodafone services temporarily disconnected for my number [protected] thru my wife Shalini Saralaya (Authority Letter was provided).
    The above mentioned number is in Safe custody since then. My wife was told that the bill would be calculated on pro-rata basis when she was present in the Seawoods Vodafone Store. I got my bill which reflected an outstanding of Rs. 687 odd. When I contacted customer service on 111 was told that Value-added services like GPRS etc. would not be calculated on pro-rata basis but would be charged on the whole. This was not conveyed to me or my wife in the Vodafone Store at Seawoods when she got the services to the above mentioned number disconnected. As an average customer when am told that the bill would be calculated on pro-rata basis anyone would consider that the whole bill would be calculated in this manner. Am not an employee of Vodafone to understand that Value-Added services are different and are calculated in a different manner. I've all the Request numbers for the complaints I launched (they are not in order). They are[protected], 77268730,[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] and[protected]. I have been paying bills of not less than Rs.[protected] in past when my number was active. So it is not that I cannot pay Rs. 687. I was not told regarding the calculation of Value-Added services. I have received emails from Vodafone stating to initiate legal procedure if I did not pay up the bill. But none of the emails sent have addressed my complaint. Leve alone emails, nobody called from Vodafone to address my complaint as promised. I have been promised a call back in this regard but never got one except for one where the executive from 111 said I have to approach the Vodafone Seawood Store as the complaint was initially launched there. I have wasted enough time and money by calling 111 and travelling to Vodafone Seawoods Store. Why is it difficult for Vodafone to readdress its customer's issues genuinely? Please look into this matter ASAP as I would like to reactivate this number again but of course after this billing issue has been taken care of. This is my last resort in addressing this issue to you. Thanking you.

    I am Pramod from kerala Let me share my experience with a vodafone postpaid conenction. [protected] I heard many vodafone billing issues from my friends circle. Unfortunately their sales person Mr Godwin convinced me that no such issues will creep. . I am using it for last 4 months, from the first bill itself they started wrong billing. I contacted them and they adjusted the amount. I feel these guys are very cunning. From first bill after wards they stopped the practice of sending detailed bill to my residence. I got used with myvodafone and strated checking my bills carefully. I have two post paid connections . There will be issues on all bills . Some issues were rectified and some others are ignored. Now I got forth month bill (online) I was really surprised to know that i have downloaded 2 games costing 99 each.
    i contacted their customer support but answers were not satisfactory. they asked me to mail the issue. And deactivate GPRS facility. I feel really pity on the ultimate solution Vodafone customer care. Is this the only expertise solution they can provide?? let me tell short i am not ready to pay wrong bills generated. . Such a wrong practice from a reputed company will create a huge dent in the reputation they build over last several years.
    I contacted nodal officers of Vodafone and Vodafone executives several times. They are always assuring a solution on very next day. Nothing will happen. Finally I will be forced to terminate the connection. Any help in this matter will be highly appreciated. I would like a response from their side as soon as possible, before I take it further with my lawyers and media.
    I suggest our government should make necessary laws to regulate these unethical business companies.

    While going through the usage charges it was further shocking to note that there is a charge of Rs. 90.10 for Vodafone Live and Downloads of Rs.1690.00 which was not at all used by me. The phone is with advance rental and used only for making emergency calls when my other number [protected] is either busy or not working for any reason. Most of the calls are made only from [protected] only and monthly average bill of [protected] is Rs. 150 to Rs. 200 only. At any point of time I have never requested nor applied for internet facilities on my phone for which the charges have been made in my bill.

    In view of the above fact it is requested to revise the bill accordingly and send a revised bill immediately so that the payment can be made on due date i.e. 02.06.2009.

    In the month of Sep 09, my brother left india and i requested customer care of vodafone to CLOSE by both nos. on permanent basis as my borther is not in india now and I have a new vodafone post paid no. ([protected]) for myself.

    Desipte beging repetivetive request calls you guys didnt close my connection. And I was paying my basic rental for my no ([protected]) till dec-09.

    In Jan, I used to get some legal notice from a advisor consultant of vodafone name Mr.Ram regarding the outstanding of my my add on no ([protected]).they came to my office and I given them cheque of total outsatnding amount which was around of Rs 4200.

    They assured me that both of my nos.([protected] and [protected]) will be CLOSED now and i would not receive any call or bill related to these two nos.

    BUT after this also i am continously geting calls from customer center related to the basic rental bill of my previous no [protected], which i am not using since october-09 and also given written application to close it.

    and above this, today I received the bill for the month of Jan-10 for my add on no [protected], which also i had already closed.

    I want to know, whats the status of my these nos. are they still active and if they are then why it is like, when I already given written application to CLOSE these nos.

    I dont have enough time to receive calls from customer care and describe them whole secne of this every day, then they assure me that they will get back to me but it never happens. They call back next day but with blank previous record and ask me same things again and again.

    I am really fed up of this.

    Vodafone — Incorrect communication

    My Outgoing had been barred as there was some mismatch in the address mentioned on the documents and the form submitted (which Ideally should have been verified at the vodafone galery).

    I submiited the documents again and it was mentioned that the services would be activated in 2hrs. and even after 3 hours the service is not activated. when I called the customer care they said that the service is activated but they were not ready to give me a confirmation SMS of the same. which ideally I should get, since they communicate with their customers thru SMS.
    I talked with the supervisor Mr. Vikrant and he said the services were activated and I will have to switch off the phone and start it again to start the service. I tried It. I even changed my SIM in another phone. but it did not work. I tried calling him again but Mr. Vikrant is not willing to get on the call, he provided excuses saying he is another call. one of my calls was ended without any confirmation.

    If you cannot take care of the customer. you do not call it customer care.

    Vodafone mobile — Wrong billing by Vodafone

    I am using Vodafone no [protected], In the month of Jan' 10 Vodafone generated a wrong bill for the said no. I've called VF Customer care centre for details, every time executives of the call centers replied that I 'll get a feed back call within 48 hours, it has happend for four times. No body has called me even after giving my alternate contact no. I have not made the bill payment. after few days I got a call from VF Credit Cell asking to pay the bill, I info'd them about wrong billing issue and got the assurance that I'll get the waiver off for the wrong billing and they asked me to pay the balance amount, which I did later. Later on when I called to the person who gave me assurance for waiveroof has never answered my calls. Now VF Legal cell calling me and blackmailing me to pay the outstanding amount otherwise my name details will kept it blcok list and telling that I'll not get any post paid mobile connection in future.

    I am ready to pay the outstanding amount if i get a good reason for my bill, but VF simply denying to give the info and blindly arguiying that I used gprs services. without giving details.

    I request you all to let me know that where I can complain on Vodafone on this issue.

    Vodafone — wrong billing procedure for post paid

    I am P. Sudarsan, from Porur, Chennai.
    I had used Vodafone postpaid for 3 months. During my usage I was disconnected from service for exceeding the credit limit of 1000 rs. But this was due to their procedure of discounting the add-ons at the end of the month.
    Therefore, I had to pay 1000 rs in advance to use services. Then the next month I chose to discontinue their service . But my roaming messages when I was in TN circle were billed at one rupee per sms because they say that the previous month's roaming details gets carried on to the next month.

    DESPITE HAVING AN ADD-ON FOR THE PARTICULAR MONTH, THEY BILL MY SMS AT 1 RE, BECAUSE I CHOSE TO DISCONTINUE THE FOLLOWING MONTH.

    Is it the customer's fault that they get details of roaming the following month only.
    The worst experience was when an executive is justifying this problem as normal.
    I have lost somewhere close to 300 rs due to this, and the balance amount of 50 rs is yet to be received.

    Hopefully, this forum helps reduce such malpractices.

    I have been using airtel mobile post paid services for the past 7 to 8 years and remitting the dues in time without fail. I have never made any ISD calls in my call history. Duirng May, 2010 i have seen couple of ISD calls made to destinations like South Africa, Zimbabwe and other Europian countries for worth Rs.8, 400. When i have noticed the irrational charges communicated to me by airtel by SMS i have immediately contacted the Customer Service Dept to look into the problem and rectify immediately. On various occassions, i have spoken to CSD and intimated about the descrepency taking place with my mobile however, the CSD did not hear to my complaint and allowed the descrepency to coninue for rest of the month without any corrective action and now insisting me to pay for the calls which i have never made from my mobile. SIr, i request you, to kindly allow me to hear the correspondece made in those calls to find out who have made those call actually, by hacking into my mobile number and give me relief from this mental torture and agony.

    Vodafone — wrong billing without customer activation

    for every activation and deactivation of services they always ask for confirmation by sms.but from last 2 to 3 year ihave seen in my itemised bill that they are charging without my consent. they simply charge it without any confirmed proof from my side whether i had activated it .the major problem is with there internet charges.they charge for the download for which charges are never informed.is this the way a big company like vodafone behaves. have they become bankrupt or does the indian government are letting them to do this.

    Vodafone — no email services, unnecessary charge for vodafone live

    I bought a new blackberry ( old mobile is also blackberry ) and there is a problem in transforming email settings from old mobile to new one. When spoken to customer support, first thing is they dont know the solution. 2nd thing, after promising to get back to me in 24 hours, they never did. I called back after 35 hours and found no solution. When i started questioning about the services, they started putting down the call. This is embarrasing to see a customer support guy putting down the call ( After keeping on hold for some time ). When asked for MNP ( Mobile Number Portability ), no one responded. Almost spoke to 7 different customer support guys after entering into MNP IVR option and they have different reasons apart from giving solution for MNP. Its been 3 days i didnt get any repoonse.
    Other case being, i was cheated by activating Vodafone live on my Blackberry since December 2009 till Jan'11 ( blackberry doesnt need Vodafone live services, which i identified later on through a friend ). Need justice please.

    I am Subrata Mondal.
    On the month October 2010, I took vodafone postpaid number [protected].
    From the 2nd month onwards in my bill, there is a download charge around Rs. 150 every month.
    Even i have not activated that downloading service, then also it is coming in my bill.
    At the end of December, I have complained regarding this at one of Vodafone office where from i took this connection. I requested him to stop such service.
    They told me to pay the regular charges except downloading charges and this amount will be adjusted on next month bill.
    In the month of January again the same charge is coming for downloading.
    I have not used for a signle day this SIM card on the month of February, then also the same thing is getting repeated. In the month of February also there is RS 140 charges for downloading.

    After sending mail to Vodafone customer and several complain to Vodafone representative at Reliance Motikhavdi, Jamnagar office regarding this wrong billing I didn't get any solution. Every month my bill was on increasing trend due to your wrong system. Every month Vodafone representative at Motikhavi Reliance premise used to say me to pay the amount other than downloading charges assuring the bill which was charged for downloading will be deducted in next month.

    But still then my problem was not solved.
    So, I closed the connection (number: [protected]) at Jamnager Vodafone office on 1st week of April.
    Even then this month bill has come to my address for the month of April where it shows monthly charges is Rs. 1.67 & downloading charges 150.

    When i have stopped the connection on 1st week of April then how come downloading charges generate for 30 days.

    It clearly shows that there is a problem with downloading charges in system which affect customer like me.

    Please look into this matter seriously.

    Even today this bill is coming to me with addition of that Rs. 150 (downloading charges) every month.





    When i am keeping switch off this mobile then how come Vodafone can charge me for downloading.

    Several times i have complained regarding this wrong billing.




    Please do the needful and reduce unnecessary burden to customer.

    Vodafone — Regarding non refund of callertune downloading and activation charges

    I would like to inform you that I am customer of vodafone(huch)
    since 5 years and my mobile number is [protected]. I am in the DND
    service for about two months. But callertune is activated and my
    balance was debited for Rs.45/- on 4th june 2011. I called several
    times called to the customer care since 4th of june 2011 but they told
    at last that the caller tune was activated at my end. But I am not
    activated. I am not interested in callertune. This is not the first
    time, for around 8 times my account is debited.
    But for the last instance I am mailing you as last attempt. I hope
    that you will recieve my query and do the needful. You check my track
    record from 5 years and confirm what type of loyal customer I was. I
    hope that my amount Rs.45/- will be credited soon.

    Vodafone — Charging extra amount against wrong plan - vodafone

    Dear authority,
    this is regarding a vodafone corporate connections, which I took few months back. I requested the corporate plan rs.499 advance rental for two years. I made payment against this and possess slip of it as well. But they activated other plan and forcing me again and again to make payment against it. I requested three times to them for recifying this error as well by sending written mail. I have never received any response regarding it, on the top they have discontinued my connections and making calls at unusuale times for forcing to make payments. They never addressed my problem. Recently my wife got operation I had need of contact numbers also but I could not avail the facility of my connections for which I have already made the payment. Due to all this I have been very disturb. My wife and my newly born baby are also affected with their unusal calls and create disturbance in their required rest.
    I have slip of payment and copy of mail( which I forwarded to them for taking rectification step ). Kindly do needful and take appropriate action. I shall be highly obliged to you for your timely help and cooperation.

    Vodafone — Poor billing system

    Around 300 rupees deducted from my account which I did not use. Kindly block fraud activities from vodafone
    I have post paid connection of vodafone[protected] which i informed the tele caller to activate the internet plan 199/- to my connection. But the vodafone guys has activated the to the wrong no. Internet pack was not activated in my cell, The bill shoot up, the internet bill only 1780/- which is not fair. the mistake done by the tele caller which i will not pay. Then the monthly bill is not coming to my home not even once. The courier guys are not delivering. Today 10.08.2011 one person came from vodafone collection team to collect the bill amount to my residence, he talked in all uncultured manner. This is not fair in the vodafone part of view. I wil settle only the talk time bill, internet bill will not be paid.

    Hi,

    My Vodafone number was charged 1808 INR extra in lieu of "Vodafone Live", a service which i have never activated or used anytime in last 6 years. I already have 299 INR unlimited corporate plan active on my number, and hence I never need any other internet services. Vodafone customer care has refused to refund my amount and stated that I have to pay the bill, since the data usage from Live has taken place.

    This is absolutely illegal, since this has happened without my wish or permission and without any notification. I dont know why they would forcibly activate a service and charge for it wrongfully. I want my money refunded. My complaint number with Vodafone in the 3rd instance has been [protected]

    Vodafone people overcharged me for the services that were not even provided also they make you run from pillar to post.
    Since last three months I am getting an extra charge of Rs. 185/- in the head of VF mobile connect. This is some thing should not be applicable to me as I have never asked for this facility.     My name is Pawan Kumar and my mobile postpaid number is [protected] and Rs 199 plan is activated.
    There are severe issues due to which I have faced so much mental problem and financial loss.
    I have send them an email regarding this issue, but they have not revert me on my another number that is [protected] although they have promised me to revert back within two days in their acknowledge email.
    So I want VODAFONE to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
    The issues are as follows-
    On my number the credit limit is Rs 800 but my bill has reached to Rs. 4000. They have not informed me via a call or text. Suddenly they have barred all my services including incoming calls.
    Secondly INTERNET plan of Rs 98 is activated on my number. Neither they have told me that my plan is being over or whatever was the reason. There was no calls or messages regarding this so that I would be informed.
    Thirdly they are not ready to negotiate on my bills, although I have visited the Vodafone store in Noida sector 18.
    I want to activate my number as soon as possible.
    But I will only pay a negotiable amount because there is no fault on my part.
    I want them to call me back on my another number i.e., [protected] in the evening at around 6 pm.
    I am really upset with the type of activities they have done to me in the last 4 days due to which I have gone under so much tension.
    So I am asking them to get back to me as soon as possible and resolve my problem within 24 hours

    Hi My mobile number is [protected]. i changed my service provider from Vodafone to Airtel from 11-Nov-2011. I have been send a wrong bill from Vodafone for period 25 Oct 2011 to 11 Nov 2011. The bill charges Rs 926 as data charges even though i had 2 gb net plan. Bill says charges for Mobile connect but if i have net charges why should i be billed for mobile connect for using net.
    Charged romming charges for aroun 6 months, even though there the connection was having free roming plan with in maharashatra circle. Also provide wrong information about the plan while purchasing the connection. Make fool while collecting pending balance with wrong information.

    I am facing this problem with billing procedure of Vodafone. I have been charged wrongly for ISD messages for the number [protected] in Feb and March bill. I have no Idea what and how Vodafone can do this type of mistakes or can charge a customer in such way. Please look into this and help me out to sort this issue. It's a humble request.

    I have mailed may times to Vodafone care, Nodal Officer and Appellate Authority (appellate.[protected]@vodafone.com, nodal.[protected]@vodafone.com and Priya.[protected]@vodafone.com), but they give me below mentioned reply every time::

    "We would like to inform you, that in case you send SMS on local number you need to type the mobile number only. In case you send STD SMS, you need to prefix "0" before the mobile number. Further, if you wish to send ISD SMS, you need to prefix "00" before the number you wish to send the international SMS. "

    So I have some doubts, can Vodafone clear them::

    1) If I ask some one to give his her no to me, I generally ask that person to give me a miss call on my cell and then I save that number in my contacts for future references. And IF I AM NOT WRONG, I this case every number flash like +91XXXXXXXXXX on the screen of mobile.So here my question is, If I'll contact to that person will you consider it as ISD callsms as according to standards '+' is as good as '00'.
    2) If I send a sms or make a call to STD number and its saved in +91XXXXXXXXXX format in my contacts then Can you please tell me, will you consider it as ISD callsms again.
    3) whenever I entered in Roaming zone, how can you get to know about it. I think its totally depends upon your system and your network. You identify it via network towers. So I am sending a SMS or making a call to any number and again its saved in +91XXXXXXXXXX format then is it not the responsibility of Vodafone network to identify whether its LOCAL communication or not.
    4) as mentioned in the attached bills and screen shot, can you please make it clear why all the numbers are mentioned in 91XXXXXXXX format in local communications also, If I am not wrong, then as per your instructions there should be only 10 digits of that particular mobile number.
    5) If you have considered those SMS as ISD messages then why there is only 10 digits of that number in the bill, it should be displayed like "00-Country Code-mobile number".
    6) If those were ISD messages then can you please let me know to whom these message were delivered.
    7) If I am sending in wrong format then why you consider few messages as ISD and remaining messages as local. It should be considered either LOCAL or ISD only.
    8) If you don't consider these messages as local due to number format, then as per my understanding these may be consider as STD sms in stead of ISD as '91' is the code for INDIA only. and then these message are not going outside India and your are also not using the services of any other service provider which is outside India.


    In short I want Vodafone to clear all false billing and do the proper billing for my number ([protected]).

    I'm fed up with Vodafone care and their reply to me on Phone & emails.

    Please can you help me out in this issue.

      I am really not sure for some reason my basic blackberry services got deactivated from my number on friday march 8th and i am really finding it very difficult to manage my corporate mails without these services being active.

      I have contacted customer care several times for this issue from past 5 days now and despite of several follow-ups and conversations with executives and supervisors i still face the same the problem, and issue not getting resolved from their end and instead they say that the backend team is working on this issue and will be resolved by end of the day, i am not sure when will that end of the day will come and when will i check my corporate mails.


      I am totally upset here as to not sure why it is taking so long to just activate my basic bb service. I already have confirmation that currently iam in 899 bes plan but as per customer care executives and supervisors heard that there was some blunder made by their technical team due to which my basic blackberry services got deactivated. I have lot of corporate emails which have to be addressed on priority basis and iam totally tied up here as iam travelling to other city and have no access to emails from past 5 days now.

      Here is the reference number : [protected] and [protected] refer to this and you will come to know the history calls and the way iam struggling here communicating to all of the executives for help in getting the bes services activated. The only answer i get every time "it is in process sir, our backend team is working on this issue" and they are maintaining the same from past 5 days now.

      Vodafone — Issue not resolved yet

      I own a prepaid connection with no. [protected] and am residing in chennai. On 20th of jan,08 i had activated a caller tune in my mobile and recieved a message that it has been activated, apparently that did not work out and 15 rupees of my balance was deducted. Upon calling the efficient customer care ( which they claim to be ) i was asked to wait for 24 to 48 hrs for just activation of a caller tune. I spoke to an agent Sindhu at that point of time. Nothing worked out and i called the customer care again on 22nd and spoke to Jude this time. He too took a nights time and nothing helped. Then i ve been trying to get my issue reslolved but till today that is 30th of jan nothing has happened any better except giving false promises. I ve been disconnected by several agents naming Kiran, Jerovah, Rajesh. I wonder if there is any quality team in the vodafone call centre to correct and catch the main culprits. However i am fed up now i am really not at all happy with the service. All i know is if a customer is unhappy he never gets back and i am going to throw my card away and go ahead with better subscribers.

        I am a regular user of Vodafone Live (Rs. 99/- package). However over the past few months I have stopped receiving messages on expiry of the valid period. Despite regular complaints nothing has been done. The very next day of the validity getting over, a lot of my balance is deducted and the notification of balance deduction comes late in the evening by which time I have already lost a lot of money.

        The customer care people only know how to lie and harass. Half the time they refuse to take complaints and the balance time they give some omplaint number which is not a complaint number at all. Seems like Vodafone is on the verge of bankruptcy as it has decided to steal money from its customers from such means. Absolutely pathetic service and absolutely pathetic customer care.

        RIM e-recharge — Regarding improper service.

        Sir,
        I am a regular customer of your Reliance Fresh shop. My card no is [protected]. I regularly shop at your center located near Line Tank Road, M.R. Tower. Besides your regular services you also provide e-recharge of RIM mobile. On[protected] I have recharged my mobile (M.No.-[protected]) from above said shop by e-recharge of Rs.199 (life time) and then of Rs.399 (RIM to RIM free). The above said recharges are done by Sri Tribhuban of the above mentioned shop and the same is maintained in the register too. But even after the recharge I am not getting the facility of Rs.399 (i.e. RIM to RIM free). I complained about my problem to the above said person in the shop. But my complaint was ill-treated by him. He didn’t entertain my complaint and he replied “do whatever you could do”. I was very annoyed by this behavior and wondered that being a lady I was not treated well by your customer relationship manager. I didn’t want any reimbursement of my Rupees, but I only want to tell you that I am very much hurt by this behavior and service.

        Vodafone — Loss of Money to the Customer

        Hi,
        Rechaged with 69/- last month 11th to make local calls @ 30P (Vodafone to Vodafone). The Same has been expaired and automatic deduction of 69/- is not happened. It will happen after one day gap. This has not been informed to the customer and the normal call rates are going from the Mobile. When I asked the customer care no proper response on the same[ They said its been informed to customer by the dealer ].In fact I have recieved the SMS from vodafone aout this offer. By the time customer knows this some amount will be grabbed from the customer.

        Dear Indian Consumer Complaints Forum,
        I am a vodafone customer residing in Bangalore. I have recharged my vodafone phone([protected]) for Rs. 90 and have got no talktime credited on my account as promised. Please do take action on this taking this into consideration.

        As expected, Vodafone will do nothing about this whole incident. They have resorted to stealing their customer's money and as thieves generally do they have refused to refund my money they have wrongly deducted!!
        And let me share another incident with this GREAT SERVICE PROVIDER. I went to their web-site to check on the Rs. 333/- recharge. It said you get full talktime. I got the recharge done but now they say that since last 1 month the scheme has changed. This recharge is valid for only 1 month and I cannot activate Vodafone Live using this balance because it is no longer in the main balance.

        I called the customer care and told them that your site mentions nothing of this change. He refused to listen to me saying "Sir as per our information this change has bee reflected in the web site and so we cannot do anything".

        As I have mentioned before Vodafone is resorting to all means to extract money out of their customers. I guess you people can't afford the tax imposed on you and so you are cheating your customers to raise money for paying taxes!!
        The initial complaint was made on[protected]. Till date I have had no correspondence from Vodafone to resolve my issue.

        Absolutely pathetic service.
        After all these days, the customer care sends me a personal message on this forum to share my contact number on the link provided by them. Guys, I have shared my number on your given link 3-4 times. What have you people done about that??

        Have the courage to come out in the open forum here and apologise for your pathetic services and have the courage to call me back on the basis of me having already shared my number on your given link so many times!!

          This is regarding the excess phone bills for mobile number [protected], I have been constantly receiving since the past few months.

          In this particular instance, a bill of around Rs.8745 was generated for my number for the month of January 2013.
          On asking for the details for this bill, I have been constantly told that the bill is due to data usage on my number.

          Firstly, I Would like to clearly delineate the fact that I had mentioned in very specific terms to the customer care to cut off any sort of data connection that is being used by my number, multiple times.
          This request had been made since November. The records can be checked for this matter. Never have I requested to activate the data services since then.

          Secondly, I would like to add the fact that I have not used any data service from my end. And I have been receiving a standard answer that my data usage is present in the records, could you also check how this data was used(I never used it).Again, please check this in the records and audio conversations. I have faced completely similar problems in the past too.

          .And I would like to clearly mention the fact that, irrespective of any data usage records that might be present, I will refrain from any sort of payment for data usage as I have clearly mentioned to cut all sort of data usage from my number.
          Additionally, I did not use any data service on my end, due to the fear of such hefty bills.Since the past two months I was getting normal bills and out of nowhere, my data connection was activated again without my consent and this bill was produced.

          It has become drudgery for me since the past few months, explaining the same thing again and again. All I am getting are repetitive answers.
          I also went to your center many times and none of your executives were able to solve the problem.

          Furthermore, I had chosen automatic bill payment earlier to deduct my bills automatically. When I went to the customer care center to get it disconnected, I was very shrewdly cheated by one of the executive as he instructed me to just make a cash payment for this.
          Only later did I came to know that I was cheated. I went to the center again, to get this service deactivated and had to freeze my bank account till then.
          However, Only when it was confirmed that my automatic bill payment service had been disconnected I made my account active again, only to see that even after the deactivation the transaction took place.

          I had received a message two days back that my bill had been settled and confirmed by asking. It is a puzzle as to how I got this message in the first place?

          It has become drudgery for me since the past few months, explaining my case, wasting my time and effort on a service that was supposed to make my life easier.

          It is a clear case of fraud and cheating that I have faced since the past few months.

          As proof, I would like to share all my previous requests since October 2012 and the audio recordings, which clearly specifies how clearly I have asked Vodafone to cut any sort of data connections. I have constantly repeated the same thing since months and no solution has been provided. I have also been to various Vodafone centers repeatedly and yet received no solution. It is the integrity of the company that I want to put at stake here and also would like them settle my amount as soon as possible.

          Vodafone — Hefty Bill

          I recently changed my plan to a corporate plan. I also upgraded my 2G service to 3G. My average bill for last 6 months is RS 500 and upon change to corporate plan i was hoping to lower it further. To my astonishment, I receive a bill of RS 5000 where the primary charges are data charges over 2G network. When I call customer care, they tell me that the bill is accurate and they cannot do anything about it. Please help!

          As per you request, I have shared my details but I have not recieved any communication from your end.
          I am not able to understand why internet has been started in my connection without any instruction from my side .Moreover, why I will use internet without plan.
          Vodafone people are not replying on this, just keep telling that internet is been used.
          I need proof for this, as Rs 90000 is big amount without usage why it has been charged.

            I am vinod kumar from Bangalore.Here i am phasing problem since from 12

            December 2012 with Vodafone Post paid Internet connection,with two Plan

            MBB_CAP_750_30d_R_PROMO_3G and MBB_CAP_250_30d_R_PROMO_3G.

            When i connected to Vodafone through one outside dealer,that time by

            mistake in place of MBB_CAP_250_30d_R_PROMO_3G Plan Dealer made it

            MBB_CAP_750_30d_R_PROMO_3G. After,I got this problem and complaint to

            that dealer who gave Vodafone post paid Sim.Than he gave me suggestion

            for go to Vodafone care office or mail to Corprelations.[protected]@vodafone.com

            this id.

            I mailed to Vodafone this problem that i do not want 750 3G plan,Instead

            of this i want 250 3G plan.They replied after 13 days an activated my

            250 3G plan from 25 Dec 2012.But the problem started from here what they

            did they add both plan in parallel for me.That mean bill value should be

            ( 750 + 250 plan cost + Tax for both plan) = 1151 Rs for first month.

            For this problem i raised request to Vodafone care after that they

            solved this issue by generating waver of 842 Rs for me.But again in next

            month what they did they add 750 3G plan with 250 3G plan in a different

            manner (they added this plan after get finish 250 3G DATA Plan) without

            informing me.That mean after 250 3G plan,750 3G plan added automatically

            for extend my 3G Data without inform me.So second month bill was 1123

            Rs.

            Previously they said me that if your data package get over your access

            will be stop until the bill payment.But instead of closing my

            MBB_CAP_750_30d_R_PROMO_3G plan they added this plan after get finish 1

            GB DATA of 250 Plan.

            So finally i paid 842Rs. extra to Vodafone for stopping irritation which

            i got from them ,I send 9-10 mails to them for this issue,4-5 visit with

            Vodafone office for this single problem.Still i did not get any solution

            from them instead of solution they gave -842Rs gift to me.

            Now i am asking from Vodafone for closing my account they are saying

            that yes your account will be closed soon but still not yet closed ,not

            yet any acknowledgement came from them form my account closure.



            Now i want to ask from vodafone who said them to activate 750 3G plan

            after 250 3G plan.

            And after this issue why they did not take action for this issue.

            Why they gave asked 842 Rs amount from me.

            Why they did not gave any acknowledgement of my account closure.I think they want more money from my pocket by generating bill for next month which i am not using since from the 23 Feb 2013.

            Really They are worst like any thing form me since from the 12 Dec 2012.

            Please do something for me i am a common man so that they are not listening my problem.

              Sir/ Madam,
              Few months back I converted my number from prepaid to postpaid as i got an offer from Vodafone.
              They anonymously activated Blackberrt 399 plan on my number though I was using an Iphone. Now the point is to use a blackberry plan u must be having a blackberry mobile phone which is pretty obvious, as i am using an Iphone right now then how i was charged with Rs. 399/- on my number for activation of blackberry plan?
              After i called 198 customer care they asked me to pay my due amount and you will get the reversal in the next bill, but i was shocked to see that there was no reversal made by the Vodafone.
              I require immediate action against Vodafone Company..

Yesterday I have scolded to customer care people, I have given so many request regarding internet but there is no response. Today morning at 11.30 AM some body call me from [protected] this number and given warning to my life, I think he is the floor leader from customer care.                 Please take it as high priority and take necessary action.
                Vodafone, according to me, is out and out scam company. Govt. should take some steps and control this sector.

                  I’ve been on a hold for 46 min with out any help for my mom's bill today, which is a new connection , Imagine me facing crap with the very first bill I wonder how will this carry on and when I called back I was informed that they cannot transfer the line to the billing ..Wow! either of the ex's are liars In fact Id say Vodafone itself is a big time Liar, coz when we have to get a new connection there are hundreds of things promises but once the connection is taken they care a for what happens with the customers account..

                  Plus the WORST WORST WORST customer service ever! Their executives are useless and I feel the most dumdums on this Earth who can hardly understand simple English and it seems they themselves are not aware of the system and rules. Aw crap Vodafone.. I wonder if I would get help for the bill as they have overcharged which is one more common SKILL of Vodafone to CHEAT their customers.

                  Ultimately after getting through with one they told me that I’ve to pay for the data usage coz they updated the information late on my moms account..

                  From the very beginning I was having troubles with this new connection they barred my mom's number with out information and keeping a tab of Rs 500 as credit limit, now what crap is this why would someone have a post paid number if you want to have a tab of Rs 500 rather take a pre paid and use it accordingly.. Where the hell are your brains?

                  After many 100 of calls I could resolve that issue for 5 days the number was barred.

                  Secondly, the plan given was 399 per month with 100 discount and data free for 3 months with 1GB free.

                  Now isn’t this your work to update the account as soon as you start with the new connection, or is this the way you can cheat your customers with extra money.

                  Today when I check the bill, Im charged extra rental plus extra for data usage even when my mom’s data usage is less then 1Gb.

                  Now who’s fault it is if you don update the data information at the right time why do I pay for those extra days. Plus in those extra days my moms number was barred for 5 days. So out of 14 days 5 days she could not even use the service she is been charged for.

                  What kind of service are you providing, on top of it your slogan is Happy to Help you! utter crap service and cheat service provider, Im now even tired of writing mails to you rather the only thing Ill do now is not pay u a single penny and pick a new service provider if you DO NOT RESOLVE my issue soon. Plus Im also writing this mail to consumer court while I mail u this email

                    vodafone has put the Flash message services in my numbers by default without intimation to me. these messages are not for free of cost. customer will be charged with 3 Rs if clicks OK. These messages are very much disturbing. and to deactivate this service, the customers are being charged 3Rs unnecessarily. This kind of services should be stopped. Every company should respect the interest of the customers before burdening them with unnecessary default services.                       i have 3 vodafone numbers on my name. ONe is used by my Dad. We had payed all the 3 bills before time and have the receipt as well. But i have been receiving call from call centre of vodafone saying " one bill has not been paid " and we will deactivate the service, which they did. Inspite of me telling them its been done, i have the receipt, i provided them the receipt details as well... but what so ever i had to do this 4 times, to different people calling from call centre.. ( i really dont know ...how they say THEY ARE HAPPY 2 HELP ).

                      Now our bank show the entry of VODAFONE for the same bill been collected on 17th of April and we paid the bill on 14th...

                      so now can someone help me with some CEO email id..or any NEWS cahnnel site...where i can carry forward this of VODAFONE...

                      because of all this they have deactivated my DADA no... completely now..no out going and no incoming at ALL... my dad been suffering from his Business calls... BECAUSE of VODAFONE ERROR..or whatever... they dont even have a CLUE... i have mailed my complaint to vodafone care as well.. visited the store yesterday 3may again.. but no actions have been taken so far...

                      please some one help me in taking this further SERIOUSLY...

                        i am Anil vara. i have VODAFONE postpaid CUG card which is given by company.
                        i have been activated 1 GB GPRS internet plan on my mobile no. [protected]

                        in that january month bill come 11270 Rs.
                        i have been ask for detail bill in that its shows i had used 2 GB internet.

                        same problem remain for first week in february.

                        i have cheked the internet usage in my phone its found usage only 10 percent of that.
                        same complain made in vodafone. they told we will check and inform u.
                        after that problem get solve but the bill come for january they tell no problem found from vodafone side.

                        difinately vodafone having technical error in wrong data counting, after my complain thet stabilised the system and lying that no problem found from their side.

                        now the vodafone is right tahn they have to give the answer of my question.

                        1. If there is no problem in data counting then why system automatically stabilised after my omplain.
                        2. If there is no problen in data counting then why it is not ginving the massage of every 200MB usage.
                        which normaly gives in stabilised system.
                        3. my credit limit was 9000 Rs. but the bill of january month is 1127 Rs.

                        i have been ask above question to vodafone customer care they were unable to answer,

                        How it could be possible that they don't have detail of deduction of amount? if they don't have detail then how they come to know that the validity and talktime of the customer is finished and they used to send SMS for recharge.

                        My vodafone number is [protected](Chennai).As I was shifted to Mumbai I called up the customer care by the end of December and told them to close my connection. The connection was not closed by them which I was not aware and afterwards the bill amount got accrued.I'm not sure whether it is an original bill or a fake one and not sure who was using that SIM.In fact I missed the SIM from me. That was the reason why asked them to close the connection.

                        In between I got bill for December and January and I was frustrated by seeing the bill for a closed connection.I replied back telling that I'm not sure about this bill amount.I had a really bad experience when a customer care executive called me on 23-Feb-2009 asking to pay the bill amount otherwise they will take legal action against me.The way of talking was very bad. I told that I'll be paying after 3 days.Then he told me about some legal action.Since I didn't have credit card I asked my friend to pay the amount (Rs.2750/-) on the same day and still I'm not sure whether the connection is closed or next month again I'll get a bill or not.Please take this up further

                        1. I am a serving Army Officer posted in Chandimandir. We are using CUG services of Vodafone, with almost about 40-50 connections in our Unit. I am having Two connections out of that : [protected] & [protected].
                        2. One Mr Ajit from Manimajra Branch, Chandigarh is handling the CUG services in our Unit. It is really sad for me to state that Customer Service of this Mr Ajit is very poor, and he simply does not respond to our complaints. I think Vodafone follows the policy of ‘Give Connections & Forget about them’.
                        3. I am facing with “Wrong Billing” on both my above mentioned numbers since last Three Months, however even after repeated complaints made to Mr Ajit, no action has been taken by him. In fact, one of my numbers was disconnected without prior notice to me. And today the second of my numbers – [protected] – has also been de-barred without informing me.
                        4. I also made requests for starting an SMS Pack o[censored]nlimited SMS for Rs 75/- a month on both my mobile connections to Mr Ajit, however inspite of giving the request in written letter form, the service was not started.
                        5. It’s very sad to see that a reputed telecom company like Vodafone doesn’t have the staff who knows basic Customer Care. We in our Unit, are forced by Mr Ajit, to disconnect the Vodafone CUG (40-50 connections), and approach some other telecom company to provide us this service.
                        6. It is a humble request from my side, that someone answer this email, and do the needful. At least there must be somebody who can take action against your own employee for not doing his duties properly, and who is responsible for losing you so many connections due to poor customer care.
                        7. Also, if I don’t get a response from Vodafone side, I may have to take up this case in media and put it in Newspapers, so that everyone comes to know the kind of Customer Service provided by Vodafone.

                        today i have talking with agent and she told me that your complent is under proceses and you will refund your banalce on dated 18.03.2011

                        I have face unneccsery dificulty regarding your prepaid department and she hold me up to 15 miniuts.

                        I am facing issue from vodafone services i i tried to contact multiple time to

                          i got my bbm 129 pack activated on 21 feburary 2013 and by thursday dated 28 feburary 2013 it stopped working.From then i have called the customer care for atleast 10 time (once every day) and i visited the vodafone store and they told me to change the sim which costed rs 25 and still i cant use my bbm.please help me!

                            Hi,

                            I had been using this telecom service (cell #[protected]) since 2006 and had never defaulted any payment, the reason for which my credit limit was increased to Rs 9000/-

                            However a couple of months back when I started the Blackberry service (399 Unlimited plan) I had enquired the complete usage details with Vodafone customer support and was informed that the downloads were to be totally free, except for live streaming through Vodafone Live which would carry a certain charge.

                            Since then I started using the service for browsing the internet and for downloading songs through BB browser. But to my surprise when I checked my bill status in mid November, the unbilled amount (without discounts) was to approx Rs 1800/-. I once again the customer care, and was assured that this amount would get deducted once the final bill is generated and the payable amount would be only for the Blackberry plan plus the rental and other call charges.

                            Finally when I received the bill for the month of Dec 2012 on 28th Dec 2012, I was totally shocked to see the payable amount of Rs 6081.82/-. Again to my surprise, this time the customer care informed me that I had used Vodafone Live to surf the net on my handheld. It is hard to believe, how can I be charged for Vodafone Live when I have been using the Blackberry unlimited plan with the Blackberry browser. Further I was told to write a mail to corporate.[protected]@vodafone.com which I did.

                            I thought my query was answered as I had completely explained him that I was downloading the data from my Blackberry browser from normal websites and also I was not using any pay sites. Further, the back office team called me after listening to the call recording, and told that there was some confusion during the call and that the plan explained by the customer care was correct and hence the charges levied were also accurate. But I still fail to understand that when you admit that there was a confusion during the call, then how can you say the information given was correct? It seems like you are contradicting your own statement.

                            Secondly I was also informed that the settings on my phone were altered by me to Vodafone Live and not to Blackberry browser. But again I fail to understand that when I had set the browser settings as guided by the customer care, then how would I change the settings when I know that the usage of Vodafone Live is chargeable?

                            Moreover I was told by the back office team that I would be eligible only for a 20% discount on the bill considering my long term relationship with Vodafone. But why should I pay the other charges when the information provided was incorrect by your customer care?

                            Further I made payments of Rs 700/- & Rs 300/- to avoid disconnection. Then I visited the Vodafone store on 02nd Feb 2013 and registered a complaint (#[protected] and was told not to make any bill payments and was also told that the Nodal Desk Mumbai team would call me / mail me in a couple of days. But nobody called me nor did they mail me, and the service was disconnected. I myself contacted the Nodal Desk asking about the status of the complaint and was told that they are still working on it.

                            Its been 2 weeks now that the service has been disconnected and the bill amt has been elevated to Rs. 7889.09.

                            Hope that my grievance would be addressed on priority.

                            "We are working on your concern", this is the same reply I have been getting from past couple of months.

                            Now Vodafone has started sending their executives to my home to collect the outstanding payment. Its been 2 months that this issue remains unresolved. On 2nd Feb 2013 when I had visited the Hypercity (Malad West) Vodafone store, Ms. Jyoti Sonawane (store executive) had told me not to make any bill payment as the charges levied were incorrect and would get reversed. She also asked me to forward my earlier communication to her email ID. This is the 2nd time I am bearing the brunt of wrong information from the Vodafone staff.

                            My Vodafone number has already been disconnected, but I request the Vodafone guys to confirm whether they will reverse these charges or will continue to follow up for the payment. This is causing a lot of mental strain and taking a toll on my health.

                                  Since Morning I a trying to take out Duplicate Bill, but Vodaphone website is not working. I called 111 & post a request for Duplicate bill processing on my email Id. Then again I called up 111 ,First time Mr. Inderjeet (149787) and ask help from him, First of all he is not able to understand my Problem, I ask him to transfer my call to Senior but he say he is not able to transfer the call.
                                  After that I call 198 for complain and talk to Ms. Mitha, she say systems are not working so she is not to file a complaint, I ask him to transfer call to Senior she tranfer the call but it get disconnected automatically.Then I again call 198 talk to Gurjeet and ask to tranfer callto Senior he tranfer the call but it get disconnected automatically.same maner I talk to Ms. Pallavi, Ms.Rajvinder, Mr. Jaspreet. Then I have word with Ms.Pallavi (Floor Incharge) she said my Duplicate bill request is not Generated & she genrated the same at that time. Than I requestto discontinue my services then the call is transfer Ms. Pooja she check the all status but my problem was as it is.

                                  Is this the way a well known telecom company deals with Customer.

                                    I am requesting for hard copy of my bill and they never delivered and when I did not paid the amount they charged me late payment fine (Which is obvious) but is it not obvious that if a consumer is complaining again and again for the bill he is not getting it delivered. When called to there customer services they are the most Pathetic people sitting there. They reply you like they are giving you a loan. When we say that we will not use the services they said okay we will close your number.

                                    Is it the way to treat a consumer because of whom your business is running. I know that will not impact at all you guys but think if your services would be like this no one will use VODAFONE again. I am using vodafone since 2003. My first number was (Which now given to someone else when I got transferred to Delhi) [protected] and then in Delhi I purchase another vodafone which I am using till the date i.e. [protected] (I had no issues with this untill I purchase another vodafone) Then I purchased [protected] for which I am not receiving my bills and getting charged for late payment. If you want you can stop all the numbers but I will not pay a single rupee till the time that would not be settled soon.

                                        Hi Team,

                                        I have taken a post paid connection, [protected], with advanced rental of Rs.499/- under corporate connection from my company on Nov 15 2012. Outgoing calls are barred in a week's time stating that there are multiple connections. They have asked me to provide canceled cheque to avoid disconnection. I have told them to disconnect and refund my money. No response.

                                        I am getting calls from collection team that I have to pay Rs.500/- outstanding!!!

                                        I don't know from why should I pay Rs. 500/- again? That means either the person did not paid the amount to Vodafone or The paid amount s not reflecting in the right place. When I have asked that person he said the amount is reflecting in security deposit. Why this has happened no idea.
                                        But I have received a legal notice mail from Vodafone. This is not expected from a MNC company and a market leader.

                                        Another twist in the story is my Vodafone data card is barred, stating that this number, [protected], is linked with my data card. I have to pay Rs.500/- to unbar.

                                        What kind of play this is??

                                        I would request to suggest or solve my problem.

                                        1. First I need my Data card to be activated.
                                        2. Either Mobile number or Refund my money.
