Hi,

The concern is regarding not issuing of my post paid sim card.

I have done the mobile number portability from idea to vodafone, due to the network issue.. My number is successfully ported on vodafone provider due to this registration for my existing idea SIM is failed. The vodafone didn't provide me the SIM from the date of activation. I have given a call nearly 100 times to vodafone in order to provide the SIM card but there is no response from them.

Now I don't have any working SIM to make a call. This leads me for the frustration , as I'm using the same number past 4 years. I deal with lot of other customer in perspective of my business. As I don't have SIM they are not able to reach me, which cost of the loss in terms of business dealings.
Kindly take an action for their process, not providing SIM even after the successful mobile number portability.

    Dear Sir,

    I have recharged my mobile(Using Samsung Galaxy ACE), with service provider Vodafone with Rs.1255/- for 3G Services on 18th Jan 2013. But I was not yet getting the speed of 2G, the speed provided by them is 0.07 MBPS while the normal speed of any 2G Service is 0.23 MBPS and for 3G Service is 2.0 MBPS.

    I was complaing for the same since 22 January 2013, and As per their Customer care suggestion, I have replaced my sim with new sim card from the Vodafone store Rs.25/-. Still when I have not got the service, I complaint in Vodafone and on 29-Jan-2013 the complaint Number is [protected].

    When first time I have book the complaint in Vodafone, and It seems when they have found that this problem they cannot solve they have switched off the Vodafone care service on mobile so that I cannot make calls for the complaint, for this I have booked the complaint from the different mobile the same incident is happened on that, the Vodafone care service is also stopped for that number also.

    till 18th-JAN-2013 they have consume the Rs.1300/- amount from my pocket without provided any service.

    The complaint details are saved on my mail, and a message against the complaint saved in my mobile.

    It is my humble request with you, It seems I will not get back the amount of Rs. 1300/- But please, must take an action against to them so that no other customer will pay for such incident.

    Whenever required I will provide you the all mails and messages for you needful action.

    Hi Consumer Forum,

    I need my money (Rs 1300/-) back from Vodafone del. This is recording to non consummated Vodafone 3G internet service.
    Now situation becomes hell, I have recharged with Rs 26/- my mobile for checking internet facility, on 15-FEB-2013 It works very poorly for two days with speed of 0.02 MBPS, but after 17-FEB-2013, the internet facility stopped on my mobile.

    It is y humble request to Consumer Forum please take an early action against the Vodafone.

        Vodafone is seen sending promos "FUNCHAT WITH GIRLS" CALL 5512111 RS.3/m.

        Called 198 and Bala c.care operator on 05/02/13 at 5.30Pm said that females will be linked or girl subscribers will be linked for dating...

        By this either Vodafone is promoting prostitution in India or spoiling our culture by encouraging, soliciting and arranging for date.

        By this on one side people ask for DEATH TO RAPISTS at the same time allow these foreign Co.s to promote rape by intoxication.

        Ill-Logical India....

          Myself Jignesh J Patel,and my mobile number is [protected].
          I used this mobile in idea provider.but when I make the visit of Vodafone mini store(Priyank Sales,Kadod,Ta-bardoli,Di-surat 394335(Gujarat)) they told me that if you convert your number from idea to Vodafone, you will get calling 10paisa/min. Vodafone to Vodafone and 30 paisa/min any other number for 6 months.
          Then after I had applied to mobile number portability for [protected] on 18/1/2013.and finally my idea number convert in Vodafone on 30th Jan 2013.
          After that when I filled up the balance and make a call, at that time calling charge is 1.2 paisa/second..
          I didn’t get the scheme which one is told from the Vodafone mini store.
          Vodafone Company makes me fool to convert my number from idea to Vodafone.
          Also whenever I submitted this complaint to complaint center (198),all executive told me that this complaint not solved by us. This problem is totally concerned with you and Vodafone mini store.
          If Vodafone can’t provide me facility then why executive of this company made me fool for the number portability.
          And also executive of the Vodafone mini store told me that whatever want to do we cant solve this problem.

            I took this number [protected] as a corporate number Think before 6 months i took this number. Still now i did not get any bill for this number. I gave lot of request for this. I donot know what the f..k is going on

            I have made the payment of Rs.350. People are calling and asking to pay Rs 450. I will definatly pay the amount that is been listed in the bill. But how can you expect me to pay the amount without the bill????? I have also requested for email statement for the number [protected] . Still now nothing has turned up.

            We have not enrolled for any caller tunes. The same has been activated. We tried 2 times to deactivate through SMS but still did not happen. I think for the last 3-4 months money would have been charged .

            I have posted this in this forum to know others how they get money from the consumers without thier knowledge

              I recharged my mobile([protected]) vodafone by rs-100. After recharge i got msg from vodafone that the caller tune has been activated on ur mobile and rs-30 has been deducted. I shocked and then call 111 toll free for vodafone care i have described the issue to the customer care executive. But he was ignoring me ant at last he abuse. Hence i'm writing this to you. I hope u can understand and help asap.

                sir i purchased a sim of vodafone with no. [protected]
                but problem is that
                nobody can call me through BSNL landline no.
                whenever anyones calls, it says my no. is not valid
                however i get calls from every network but not from BSNL landlines

                  Vodafone in — very very very bad service

                  i m using mobile service of vodafone. from last two days theres full coverage on my mobile but i not dialing any noumbers or reciveing calls. i m complain to mobile customer care but no any responce for that.

                  Vodafone — Very Poor Service

                  I am Vodaphone Mobile service user. I had no problem with the services rendered till the 21st March wherein after the "Signal" in my locality has failed. I am now told that the "circle tower" from which i used to get "Signal" has been SEALED by Government authorities.
                  I am a consumer and the problem with the service provider is none of my concern as I am billed day-in- and-day-out and have to really go searching for "Signal" in case of receiving or making a call.
                  I want to lodge complain that I should be billed for any usage or all facilities provided to me till such time that the Service Provider does not sucessfully rectify the problem at his end.
                  Since I am a regular customer and do a lot of business on my cell phone, I cannot change my service provider.
                  Please see what best can be done and stop the service providers from harassing the consumers on such pretext.

                  also i ma trying to get the bill through my login id but still its showing only jan month bill and not able to download.

                    Vodafone/Prepaid Mobile — Replacement of SIM

                    Dear Sir,

                    I am a customer of your Mobile service for 2 years. My mobile no. is [protected]. I am very satisfied with your service. I thank u for ur good service.

                    My SIM appears to be damaged and need to be replaced. The shop from where i bought the SIM in July, 2006 did a grave mistake. Instead of registering my name, they have registered this no. in his uncle's name, in hurry, they said. Although I have submitted all documents. At that time, they said, there will be no problem.

                    Now I request you to please issue this number in my name and give a new replacement for which I shall pay Rs100 which I heard from Hutch shop, is the fee.

                    Vodafone Prepaid subscriber — Regarding Promo offer

                    I received a sms from yr msg Centre[protected]on 07.10.2009 at 14.25.59 hours offering a Promo of Rs. 94.00 with certain facilities validity being 365 days. I opted for the scheme on 07.10.2009 but on receiving the confirmation from 190 that the validity of the scheme is for 180 days, I was astonished to find the way I was duped by Vodafone by false promises. I sent a complaint sms to 190 but I was informed that I was not authorised to use the system. I want redressal of my grievance and confirm validity of the Promo to 365 days as assured. Confirm by email or sms at the earliest.

                    I have purchased a SIM VODAFONE PREPAID MOBILE No.[protected],fROM MOBILE STORE SECTOR 22 CHANDIGARH.Due to other number activated i was sparingly use this SIM.THE SERVICE of this SIM was suspended temporarily.I approached VODA STORE/CUSTOMER CENTER Sector 35 CHANDIGARH.I was told to SUBMIT THE residential proof again.I
                    submit the same on 24.03.10 AND INSURANCE was given that the service will be activated within 72 hours.no service was resumed .Finally I visit the same center on 01.04.10,on being enquired it was told by the rep that this SIM was permanently deactivated by the COMPANY.I m surprised on my decision to become the voda customer.will any executive of company will listen.

                      i don't know whether this post will be read by anyone or not......but i am writing just by believing on e world...most of the people says VODAFONE customer care is pretty esteem but today i called VODAFONE customer care service in between 12 to 1 at NIGHT.... the executive of VODAFONE (BPO) BUSINESS PROCESS OUT-CASTING answered me swiftly NO DOUBT but he gave me WRONG INFORMATION regarding my doubts...and just believing on the myth of good customer service of VODAFONE i called VODAFONE again and then the CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE told me that the previous individuality hadn't registered your number on the records...
                      this is it by me side.... rest is VODAFONE yours if the employees really want to push VODAFONE up then they should worry..... there are lots of people like me who disconnected their number just due to this "customer care cheating" ...... :(
                      BECAUSE they don't know THIS E WORLD i think.....

                      Vodafone India — Wrong information given by customer care

                      My name is Rinku jain...i am a hutch(now vodafone) customer from 6 october 2005.My number is [protected]..I bought a 2 year advance rental postpaid number from hutch according to which they will not charge monthly rent of 150 for next two years..i renewd my plan for 1 year in august 2007 hutch people called me that its necessary but the plan had 2 months left..i gave the application and my plan got advance rent paid for another 1 year but this year when i called customer care to renew my plan first they said it is expired but when i called again they said 1 month is still left...i talked to "Jainender Singh" conversation serial number "[protected]"..he said i can apply before 20 sept 2008 co. wont charge any rent but in my 21 sept 2008 bill RS-150 are charged as monthly rental...i want either he should be punished or i get bill discounted...
                      It's been 3 years, I've submitted all of my assignments but IGNOU hasn't update my numbers.

                      Today I had a very worst and rigorousness response from customer care,
                      Enquire was about…
                      I had recharged for Rs. 499 for my prepaid number to activate plan unlimited outgoing on 20th March where in the validity for that offer ends on 19th march. But a call from customer care executive conveyed that to recharge on Saturday that is today April 17, 2010 to avail and continue this offer and so as I did but after the recharge I was deducted for the outgoing calls. About this miss guiding for the recharge though I have a sufficient time of validity to the offer and for the reason to deduct I want to log the complaint to the customer care but I got a very coarse response from customer care executive
                      Mr. Pavan he in fact gave his Employee code No 533044 and said me whatever u want you can do go to consumer court or report to the higher authority I am least bothered and I am not going to take your complaint nor register and give the complaint number for the same and not only this I had previously spoken to Mr. Nagraj and Abhijith they made me to wait for almost 30 min and disconnected the call without connecting me to TL for which I had been asked to hold the line.

                      This is what the response I get if I call to customer care. Is this the sought of response given by a one of the world’s best network service provider Vodafone.

                      So now I can clearly say that I have been deceit,
                      1. Asking me to recharge early though I have validity three days more to go end.
                      2. After recharge to continue the offer but still I have been charged for outgoing.

                      With expecting the supportive response and result
                      1. Related to offer validity increasing,
                      2. Reversal of charges charged and action to be taken from the senior support functionaries.
                      I have written this mail awaiting for response before I take the further action ahead.

                      Vodafone India — Regarding Wrong Information given by Vodafone Executive

                      Hi ,


                      Its really bad to say that the customer service provided by Vodafone is hell. Its from 19 May I am facing problem with
                      Internet connection problem on my iphone-4 and till now nobody was able to solve the issue.

                      First I spoken to Anoop and he said it will be activated and u will only cut 10paise/per 10 kb download.

                      Then I came to know its will be charged monthly rental of Rs100 after activation,

                      Then I again call to Customer care and Sahil was not able to resolve my query and database was not updated and disconnects the line


                      Then I again call after 10 minutes and some MR.Sandeep Kumar said that your balance is negative and make it positive and within 6 hours it will get activated and also with this plan I will get 2 GB download Free but nothing happen

                      Then today(20 may) I again call customer care and some Purnima in technical staff said that you have to restart your phone but after doing that nothing happen

                      Then again I call and some Neeraj said that then will send some settings for iphone within 30 minutes but nothing happen and he also said that there is no scheme of 2 GB as mentioned by Sandeep.Its really horrible nobody knows the details.

                      Then again I call customer care and tell the problem I am facing ,then the customer care representative said that becoz of negative balance its temporarily got locked and it will be activated within 4 hours .When i asked for his name and complaint number he put my call on hold and after sometime it got disconnected.

                      i don't know whether this post will be read by anyone or not...but i am writing just by believing on e world...most of the people says VODAFONE customer care is pretty esteem but today i called VODAFONE customer care service in between 12 to 1 at NIGHT... the executive of VODAFONE (BPO) BUSINESS PROCESS OUT-CASTING answered me swiftly NO DOUBT but he gave me WRONG INFORMATION regarding my doubts...and just believing on the myth of good customer service of VODAFONE i called VODAFONE again and then the CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE told me that the previous individuality hadn't registered your number on the records...
                      this is it by me side... rest is VODAFONE yours if the employees really want to push VODAFONE up then they should worry... there are lots of people like me who disconnected their number just due to this "customer care cheating" ... :(

                          I recharged for 500INR the night i landed Tamil Nadu from US as i use the same no. whenever i come to India. The next day morning when i called my friend, it says i don't have balance. When i called the customer care, they said it was used for your internet (as the cellular net was on) and now you have to recharge to make a call. I cursed & recharged for 200. Within 2 calls, again the same story. I called the customer care, which again some who speak in a recordical way that there is no balance in my main account. How can they rob money like this?

                          Can anyone claify what is this Vodafone's Primary & Secondary account? Why they want to make others life miserable?

                          Please help to solve this issue.

                          As i have informed you on dated 23feb,2012 that on 22feb,2012 i tried to recharge my phone through paytm.com in morning but recharge didn"t complete. And without recharge Rs.50 have been debited from my account. Then in evening i recharged My phone by ratailer. After the complaint of 23Feb to you next day i recived a call from VODAFONE service agent he adviced me that if you didn"t recharge your phone through paytm then this amount will be credited in your account within 5 days. But today ten days passed but not any action has been taken. I also tried to customer helpline no 111 there i talked to mr Neeraj he adviced me that you will have to complaint on helpline no 198 when i tried 198 there Mr. pankaj said to me that for this you will have to dial 111 . Thus not any satisfactionary answer has been given. So you are requested to do something once again.

                            Automatically caller tune was activated to my mobile, when i requested Vodafone customer care, Raj Shekar C. answered the call and told me within 24 hrs the amount would be refunded and Caller tune will be deactivated, now its fourth day still i hear the caller tune and i dint get any amount to my account. when i call the customer care they are answering the call and when i ask them the question just without any answer they are hanging the phone, what kind of service is this?

                              This is the second time I am facing this problem on my phone and Vodafone customer care is unable to help me. Vodafone recently changed their value added recharge prices, the specific one that I am referring to is 30paise per minute plan. Earlier this was charged Rs 24 and valid for 30 days, however they changed the same to Rs 24 valid for 15 days and Rs 34 valid for 30 days.

                              My problem is that if I recharge Rs 34 twice on the same phone same day Vodafone only gives me 30paise per minute plan for 30 days and does not provide any credit or balance for the second recharge. In a way the company has cheated many customers and pocketed Rs 34 or Rs 24 in the name of human error.

                              Its not about Rs 34, collecting this amount illegally is not correct and hence would like you guys to look into the matter. These MNC's would never appreciate if we mistakenly pocket even single paise from their system; reflected in their attitude when we try to switch phone providers using number portability, you cannot do so unless all arrears are paid in full. However if we are at fault Vodafone turns a def hear.

                              I am using Vodafone prepaid connection since 2006 DEC, Now I am facing a problem with it.
                              Yesterday, i.e, 5th Aug 2009 an amount of 150RS has been deducted from my account due to some technical problem and till now it has not been solved, no proper response from the service provider.
                              I cant do outgoing calls from yesterday, now my balance is -134/- which was +15/-
                              For me its okay, whereas if some common man get affected by this what he needs to do???
                              They are telling it will be resolved by 7th Aug 2009 at 6PM, So for 2 days there will be no outgoing calls.
                              This kind of poor service they are providing, this shows their negligence that too for their mistake.

                                Vodafone - luring and looting

                                The operators at vodafone in chennai call and lure customers with offers in post-paid. If continued says a big load of booty is available for a peanut price and should convert from present pre-paid to post-paid.

                                If agreed then another person speaks, she says a slight increase in cost along with a reduction in facilities as said by the first person. This round goes on for several times under several persons more than an hour only to find to your horror that the current cost of post-paid has escalated by several hundreds from the first mentioned price.

                                That is for example in plan-rs.249/-[super combo-low] the final cost may go above rs.600/- in any way under free usage alone.

                                It is because there a host o[censored]nsaid/hidden costs not revealed anywhere by anybody including website, c-care janitors and store - keepers... It will be shockingly revealed only at the time of first-bill when by the time you are well chained and bound with this deceitful burden.

                                Thus it is nothing but a plain - broad daylight robbery - and what else...?

                                Myself is a victim having solid evidence and escaped entrapment at the last moment. Dt.25/01/13.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I am a victom of vodafone. One and half month back, i was geeting calls from vodafone Care, and they told me about their POSTPAID plans. but i was not interested in that. but then their executive told me about a false plan( which was not existing). Then they collected my documents and money( Rs 250) from my address and told me that the plan will be enabled on sim within 72 hours. After this, they again called me for varification, Iagain ask their executive about my plan, then the guy told me that there is no such plan. At the same time i refused to take the postpaid connection.And asked them to pay back my money, they told me i can withdraw it after 45 days.
                                After this i recieved their calls so many times, but i refused to change my prepaid connection to postpaid. Then suddenly on 16 July 2008 (after one month and 7 days) they changed my connection to postpaid without intimating me. When i tried complaint on their customer they have not responded properly and even not providing any complaint number.
                                This was a total monatry and mental harresment for me. I want to ask them, how can they change any number according to their conveneince.and who has given them this right to sell their connection by providing wrond information. I am working person, i do not have time go to their store.
                                I request you to take some serious action against Vodafone. And ask them to provide me suitable componsation for all this harresment.

                                    I took a connection on which they activated a wrong plan and as a result send me huge bill. When I tried to resolve the issue but they were least bothered in resolving the issue but MOST INTERESTED IN recovery of money. So I decided to go for disconnection and paid the money according to my genuine usage (which I must have not paid if the intention was not to pay).

                                    BUT EVEN AFTER 2 MONTH OF DISCONNECTION THEY ARE HARRASING ME FOR PAYMENT OF BALANCE AMOUNT RATHER STARTED SENDING THEIR PERSON TO MY HOUSE FOR THE SAME.

                                      still VODAFONE INDIA is giving 100 sms/day and then deducting 1re after it. The company is cheating its customers.

                                      TRAI had been hard on the mobile customers lately, and it had limited the number of SMS sending per day to 100 messages from any number on any network. The limit has now raised to a little better, with the number of SMS that can be sent per day being 200. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has made these changes after the earlier rules were laid many days back, and users could send unlimited messages only on National festivals, and on that day, the SMS offers wouldn’t work.

                                        Vodafone — DIRTY LANGUAGE

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I am receiving call from a vodafone number [protected] in the midnight on my wife's mobile. The caller is using very dirty language like a sex maniac.

                                        Its really a disturbunce and must be curbed. Please take necessary action against the owner of the above number so that no other person will get a call from him like this.

                                        It must be discouraged and it is a necessary to ensure peace and dignity of public life in Delhi
