I have been using Vodafone services for the past few months and have had such a bad experience that I have finally decided to terminate the connection. They activate unwanted plans without your knowledge and deduct balance from the account.

For example, Vodafone Live was activated automatically on my phone and balance deducted at regular intervals. Customer care people asked me to send "CAN VL" to 111 to deactivate the same. I tried it several times but everytime I got "Invalid Keyword" as response. Tried sending "HELP" to "111" but again got the same response. Customer care people say this is the only way to deactivate "Vodafone Live" and nothing else could be done but to let the balance deducted. Even their site feedback form does not work and their nodal officers never pick the calls.

When you call the customer care, they keep you in waiting for more than half-n-hour and if you are patient enough to wait, you can have the "PRIVILEGE" of talking to them, only to be kept on hold and disconnecting the call. This is a very pathetic and unacceptable behaviour.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!

    I received the bill for Jan 2013 for mobile no [protected] and the bill amount of Rs 9,020 is
    significantly higher than my monthly average bill of approx Rs 1,300 that I
    get every month. The higher charge seems to be on my internet usage (GPRS
    service). This higher bill amount is unacceptable.

    I am on a blackberry package of Rs 599 and I changed my device to Iphone on 26
    October. Please note that from 26 October to 22 Jan although I was using
    iphone, I have not been charged any additional internet usage charges and no
    one from vodafone told me that I will be charged a sigificantly higher amount.
    When I see the data charges on my itemised bill, I can see that I have been
    charged everyday a significant amount from 22 Jan, the maximum being Rs 1,232
    on 2 Feb.

    Please note that Vodafone did not inform me about disconnecting my Blackberry
    plan since I have been using Iphone. After inquiring about the high bill for
    Jan 2013, I have now changed my plan to an iphone unlimited plan. Now by changing my plan that requires me to pay an additional Rs 100 per month, it seems I have unlimited usage. This seems completely inappropriate given that for not going so I have been charged an excess of Rs 7,500 in one month.

    After repeated complaints and written communication, Vodafone refuses to reverse the charges. This demonstrates the malicious intent of Vodafone to cheat customers.

      Dear Sir,

      I, Ravinder Grover mobile subscriber of Vodafone from March,2011 in Delhi Region. Vodafone has provided all subscriber a Relationship Manager. I also have a R.M. for my Mobile No.(Don't want to take the name.) Few Days before i request them to describe me a suitable Post Paid Plan. R.M. has suggest me that they will forward my request to Post Paid Dept. & Post Paid Customer Care will call me back. After some time post paid customer care called me, but at that time i was busy i ask them to call after 30 minutes, but they didn't call me. After one Day they again call me around 11AM, i was busy at that time also, i again ask them to call me after 30 min., but they didn't at that time also. Afte few days i decide to use MNP so generated a MNP code which is valid till 17th Feb. After the MNP Code generation my R.M. called me & apologize me for the short fall in services. While talking to R.M. i have given him a particular time of monday to call me back by Post Paid Customer Care. But customer executive are in too hurry they call me on saturday when i was in meeting. Just because of that call i faced too much problem in that meeting. Its still not over. After few days i use Call Back services. Some one called me , but i ask him to transfer my call to particular R.M. because he knows everything about the case. But that man is still not helped me & not even try to pass my message to particular R.M. After a Day i again use Call Back service still the same person called me , again i ask him to forward my request to particular R.M. The same case is again repeated Today also.

      Now you decide what to do.

        Hi,

        As per the instructions from Vodafone customer care, I have visited Vodafone , Kukatpally store (opposite BJP office) to activate international roaming on my AP mobile no. I have payed 3000/- and got the reciept. The store person informed me that in 24 hours they would come for verification. I waited for one day and no one came for verification. The very next day I had to leave India. I tried to reach the customer care from abroad now the customer care is saying that they cannot activate International roaming because the security deposit 3000/- is not reflecting on my no. I dont have the reciept copy with me now. I feel like cheated. Please help me. I need to access my mobile number.

          i don't have much words to right here so just want to inform you what services u providing to your customer. i changed my idea number to Vodafone and now i think that is my big mistake i hv done because o[censored]r executive mistake in my home address am just suffering .my outgoing has been blocked by you n from yesterday i cant make a call as i don't have any other number i went to your Vodafone store at mahipalpur to complain but they r as helpless as i am they just gave me a SRno [protected] n done but just can u understand what kind of trouble am in i am really sorry but i changed my idea no to Vodafone thats my big mistake. u do mistakes n customer will suffer now only option is consumer court and very soon i will ask u to come there n u have to pay for what i am suffering just because of Vodafone.this is really disgusting..

          Vodafone — vodafone number deactivated

          I have been an old Vodafone customer; and to summarize my problem - my phone has been deactivated for past 20 days.. Vodafone customer care has been absolutely useless, talking to the manager, the floor supervisor and even the executives have been of no help...

          My phone was deactivated on Dec 8, 2009; Post that I made the bill payment twice both through the credit card and cash but no action has been taken. The payments are showin up in the system... I have made endless calls to the customer care but they are ALWAYS UNHAPPY TO HELP. I have beared rude attitude of the executives to the voices which promise to get my number activated in next 20 mins but nothing has helped...

          Everytime executives claim that there was no previous requests taken; this is highly irritating ....

          I think Airtel serves better than Vodafone! Highly unsatisfied and would not recommend

              Sir,
              I have recharge Rs 249 3g pack on 2 feb 2013 i.e. 30 days packs, i got the sms from vodafone that my 3g data pack is activated within 2 mins. Till there everything is fine. my mobile no. is [protected]
              Now when i used my sim in data card( data card made by HUWAEI which support both 2g/3g network), that sim does not show 3g network, i have other sim also like of airtel, tata docomo that are showing 3g network in the same data card, & also i have checked the same sim in 3g supported mobile, so i made a request by email to vodafone that the sim is not showing 3g network, while it is showing 2g network but i have made recharge of 3g, so you must do something about it. [3g network is not available]
              Till today i have sent then 6 emails and one complaint through mobile their complaint no. 198 where my service request no. is 2317 registered on 9/2/13 and by email service complaint no. is [protected]. by email dated 8/2/13
              But till today they have not done anything to my problem.

              Problem: That i have recharged with Rs249 3g data pack, but no 3g network is shown or available by vodafone, i have checked this near RML hospital, in Supreme court also, in India gate where i have checked that this sim does not show 3g network, even after paying Rs249 i am still getting 2g network by vodafone
              if in this 30 days pack , 11 days have already been gone, what is the use of recharging them, i want my money back with compenstion.....

              issue: no getting any error message, but simply no 3g network is available, how to connect 3g internet, if even connection network of 3g not shown by vodafone sim

              please help me.

              Vodafone 3G — Dumping of faulty product

              1.I was sold a 3G dongle tele-marketeers from Vodafone for 1500/-. The product was delivered at home and relevant papers were collected by the agent.
              2.Since the 3G dongle could not be activated even after 48 hrs I approached Vodafone complaint nos, I was asked for the 10 digit no of the connection...I came to know that this 10 digit no was not provided so no complaint could be registered!.
              3.This led me to contact sales agent ; whose rep had come to sell.
              I was then told about discrepancy in address proof, a surprise to me beacuse I just got a passport on the same add proof.
              4.Any ways after a score of calls by me I was asked for the reqd documents which were to be collected from me, it did not happen despite some one telling me to be available at home/office2-3 times.
              5.Well its been months now and the dongle is lying unused and unactivated with me, a waste of 1500/-. I am wiser now with two diff connections from TATA and Relience each.
              6. I have made complaints with Nodal officers but they don't care for my loss and inconvinience.

              vodafone cellular — 3G Services and SIM Connectivity

              I wish to state that please refer my previous complaint bearing no. 413 and further I wish to cancel my SIM services and 3G in toto due to your bad customer care and terribly bad SIM connectivity. I dislike your way of charging for 3G services (Rs. 650/-) without caring whether the customer is getting these services or not and not caring the customer when approaches your people at Dr. A.S.Rao Nagar.               Vodafone — NETWORK IS NOT THERE

              I WAS HAVING TATA INDICOM SIM CARD AS WELL AS HANDSET. RECENTLY LAST 1 MONTH BACK I HAVE PURCHASE NEW NOKIA HANDSET & NEW SIM CARD OF VODAFONE. BUT ALWAYS NETWORK IS NOT THERE. I AM EXTREMELY FADE UP OF VODAFONE SIM CARD. I WILL RECOMMEND OTHER NOT TO USED VODAFONE SIM AT ALL.

              they still post misleading ads and recharge pack...they say they provide 3G speed but after recharge it still remains on 2G speed...also they say they have partnered for 3G with Idea...but even manual selection of Network is not working...Idea3G always prompts "Please try later"

                Activation of Daily Jokes Pack on 12/11/2012 (Pre-paid number-[protected]) without prior authorisation at your own discretion and deducting money from my pre-paid balance for the same. I am mentioning the date since this number was with my father Shatrughan Sharma was at the the time of activation of the above services was in coma and undergoing heamodialysis at IGIMS Patna . I was with him at that time attending to him and his mobile was with me. Since I am also a doctor myself and educated enough to know which services I want and which one I don not and how to go about it in either case .

                Any way since my father was in coma at that particular time and was undergoing heamodialysis at the time you say the services was activated ,You being an educated person will easily appreciate that any son whose father is fighting for life will be ever thinking of activating Daily Joke Pack. Don't you think that this is a joke of very serious nature and require all kind of attention and action? Sadly my father couldn't defeat death and died due cardiorespiratory arrest on the same day (12/11/2012) at 9:40 pm.

                I can attach the entire relevant document if needed:
                1) Death certificate issued by Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences
                2) Death certificate issued by Municipal Corporation of Patna
                3) Document showing his period of stay at IGIMS

                I am taking this matter very seriously since this is insult to my father and to me as his as this activation clearly implicate me that while my father was fighting for his life I was interested in subscribing to your value added services which was Daily Joke Pack.

                I will do what I can do get justice. I will adapt to whatever means permissible under law to get justice for me and for other people who have cheated. I will find out whether I can go Facebook or Twitter with all above document and my doubts to the learned member of our community here in India, England and Other part of the world for their opinion. I will fight to the hilt since you are not only one, I had similar experience with Reliance and to avoid this I switched to Vodafone. But your flash massages are far more dangerous, they are like drone.
                Other Aspect
                What is this flash massage? Is not a purely a trap to suck money from poor and ignorant person who is not aware of it and whenever the screen flashes people who may mistake it for a call and may press a button leading to deduction of some amount of money from their pre-paid account which you being learned can very well appreciate how could they have earned it. Conduct a survey regarding Flash Massages which will help to you to evaluate how many in India are aware of it, understand it and how many want it.


                A poor person or a labourers who is not aware of the Value Added Services activated on his number and certain fixed sum of money is being deducted regularly from his account recharges his mobile by Rs.30 but immediately a sum of same amount is deducted by you for services likes like Daily Jokes pack thereby decanting his account. Now he land lands up in an emergency and thinking that since has recharged his phone few moment ago, tries to make a call to a person who can bail him out of such precarious situation but his effort goes in vain since you have deducted and decanted his account as charges for unwanted Value Added Services thereby disabling him to make a call. His problem may be of serious nature and due to his inability to make a call he may land up into problem which may permanently put him into a situation which may emotional. Physical or Economical. Vodafone profit with Human Touch.

                Don't you think that most of the population (mainly womenfolk in villages and elderly) are not aware of the proper methodology o[censored]sing a mobile phone, and if a Flash Massage comes to their screen they may take it to be an incoming call and press button, thereby losing their hard earned money. Vodafone your flash massages a very sly way to extract profit. Vodafone do think that people who are working in field as laborers or pulling rickshaw for their likelihoods can understand jokes in English. Vodafone this is India not England and people here are as well educated as in England and you know this and you are trying to use this as major platform/methodology for profit.

                Suppose half million of your subscriber are ignorant about this value added services and flash massages and out of ignorance press the button which is coveted by you how much you end up profiting purely out of ignorance.

                Have any of your call centre executive tried explaining what is flash massages before sending it. At least this much could have done.

                What is this flash massage?                 Suppose we want any value added services why don't you let us try for ourselves. We will talk to the customer care services and enquire about the various value added services and accordingly we choose if we need any and then request to you ourselves to activate it.                 healthcare services — screen flickering

                the screen flickers quite often.
                the laptop has been sent many times for repairs for this to the dealer but in vain.
                i am so fed up.i have three laptops of other brands working nicely.

                Vodafone — Unauthorized deduction using fraudulent manner

                Activation of Daily Jokes Pack on 12/11/2012 (Pre-paid number-[protected]) without prior authorisation at your own discretion and deducting money from my pre-paid balance for the same. I am mentioning the date since this number was with my father Shatrughan Sharma was at the the time of activation of the above services was in coma and undergoing heamodialysis at IGIMS Patna . Iwas with him at that time attending to him and his mobile was with me. Since I am also a doctor myself and educated enough to know which services I want and which one I don not and how to go about it in either case .

                Any way since my father was in coma at that particular time and was undergoing heamodialysis at the time you say the services was activated ,You being an educated person will easily appreciate that any son whose father is fighting for life will be ever thinking of activating Daily Joke Pack. Don't you think that this is a joke of very serious nature and require all kind of attention and action? Sadly my father couldn't defeat death and died due cardiorespiratory arrest on the same day (12/11/2012) at 9:40 pm.

                I can attach the entire relevant document if needed:
                1) Death certificate issued by Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences
                2) Death certificate issued by Municipal Corporation of Patna
                3) Document showing his period of stay at IGIMS

                I am taking this matter very seriously since this is insult to my father and to me as his as this activation clearly implicate me that while my father was fighting for his life I was interested in subscribing to your value added services which was Daily Joke Pack.

                I will do what I can do get justice. I will adapt to whatever means permissible under law to get justice for me and for other people who have cheated. I will find out whether I can go Facebook or Twitter with all above document and my doubts to the learned member of our community here in India, England and Other part of the world for their opinion. I will fight to the hilt since you are not only one, I had similar experience with Reliance and to avoid this I switched to Vodafone. But your flash massages are far more dangerous, they are like drone.
                Other Aspect
                What is this flash massage? Is not a purely a trap to suck money from poor and ignorant person who is not aware of it and whenever the screen flashes people who may mistake it for a call and may press a button leading to deduction of some amount of money from their pre-paid account which you being learned can very well appreciate how could they have earned it. Conduct a survey regarding Flash Massages which will help to you to evaluate how many in India are aware of it, understand it and how many want it.


                A poor person or a laborers who is not aware of the Value Added Services activated on his number and certain fixed sum of money is being deducted regularly from his account recharges his mobile by Rs.30 but immediately a sum of same amount is deducted by you for services likes like Daily Jokes pack thereby decanting his account. Now he land lands up in an emergency and thinking that since has recharged his phone few moment ago, tries to make a call to a person who can bail him out of such precarious situation but his effort goes in vain since you have deducted and decanted his account as charges for unwanted Value Added Services thereby disabling him to make a call. His problem may be of serious nature and due to his inability to make a call he may land up into problem which may permanently put him into a situation which may emotional. Physical or Economical. Vodafone profit with Human Touch.

                Don't you think that most of the population (mainly womenfolk in villages and elderly) are not aware of the proper methodology o[censored]sing a mobile phone, and if a Flash Massage comes to their screen they may take it to be an incoming call and press button, thereby losing their hard earned money. Vodafone your flash massages a very sly way to extract profit. Vodafone do think that people who are working in field as laborers or pulling rickshaw for their likelihoods can understand jokes in English. Vodafone this is India not England and people here are as well educated as in England and you know this and you are trying to use this as major platform/methodology for profit.

                Suppose half million of your subscriber are ignorant about this value added services and flash massages and out of ignorance press the button which is coveted by you how much you end up profiting purely out of ignorance.

                Have any of your call centre executive tried explaining what is flash massages before sending it. At least this much could have done.

                What is this flash massage? When it was assured to me that they will do the best to solve the issue which will be reflected in Jan 6th Bill.                     Suddenly today, I see my service has been barred, without no prior emails/ calls. I am surprise to see that.

                    I called Vodafone customer care (111) and got in touch with a CCE (Kamal Sharma). He started the call with all incorrect information, then when I asked to re-confirm, he went back and told, retention team has disconnected the line.He also informed, retention team has tried to get in touch with me once or twice on call. But they could not.

                    I wanted to speak with the retention team or his supervisor and he DENIED to transfer the call to any one. He straight way said, this can't be done.

                    With all these going on, I have few questions -

                    1. WHY MY CONNECTION IS BEING DISCONNECTED WITHOUT MY CONFIRMATION ??
                    2. WHY THE CCE WAS COUNSELING INCORRECT ?
                    3. WHY HE WAS SAYING NO WHEN ASKED TO TRANSFER THE CALL ??

                      Dear Team Vodafone,
                      I am a user of vodafone, My no. was not activated because my bill was pending i was in Dehli and wanted to migrate my postpaid to prepaid but your customer care executive told me while roaming i can not do so. I ask to pay my bill whenever i will come back into home state most probably on 25th Aug, 2009 and my due date was 18th but would not like to pay the late fee because if you can not migrate my sim out of my home network i would also not like to pay out of the home network and he said okay i need not to be worry about late fee however i need not to pay. when i came back to Rajasthan they ask me to pay my bill with late fee so my bill was pending from the last 2 years it was the first time.
                      now i paid all the amount on 2/12/2009 at your Jaipur, MGF mall store. still my services or say number is not activate. Customer care executive said that sim has to be replaced i replaced my sim too.
                      I have mailed all the details at your mail id also. my sim got replaced and i am continuing with the postpaid connection.
                      I have visited at-least 10 times to your store and not getting proper response and i have logged lots of complain on your customer care regarding the same.i am mentally suffering now because no body is replying or helping to rectify my problem and your store staff behavior is very rude they normally make excuse like server is down, call to nodal officer, sim has to be replaced and so on.

                        Imposing charge on 3months 3G data plan on my new connection number [protected] which was valid for 3 billing cycle which company without any intimation terminated it and restricted all numbers related to my documents. Company assured me of providing 3G DATA PLAN service free for 3 month on new connection which i had taken but they terminated the plan at the end of 2nd month billing cycle and charged for 3rd month totally saying we never told this sort of plan & enforcing us to pay the entire data usage charge of Rs 4,599 or else they would send legal notice. We approached as well as called many times to their executives but they probably listen and never replied back. They have also terminated my another number [protected] because of this. I am very disappointed with this company and don't know what to do next.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I had recharged my vodafone prepaid connection for Rs.30 thru internet on dated 20th March 2009 at about 12.00 o'clock. After completing all the formalities on the HDFC bank site, I got a confirmation message on my mobile that showing- "Your prepaid account has been recharged successfully with Rs.30 and your current balance is Rs.0.18" I have not got my exact value.                                 I am using Vodafone from last 3 years,from that time co-incidentally unwanted service activated in my mobile and deducted money from my balance,which had happen many times till date.Some how i came to know company is cheating this way from customer.Many times I used to call to customer care,but they never return money back,also they assure that this will not happen again.So I know what's wrong with company being a brand name in INDIA.
                                SO IT IS REQUESTED TO EVERY ONE,WHO IS USING MOBILES,KEEP A HABIT OF CHECKING YOU POSTPAID BILLS WITH STATEMENT or CHECK YOUR PREPAID BALANCE AFTER YOUR CALL DURATION.IF REQUIRED CALL IMMEDIATELY.

                                  I called customer care on 30.01.13 for getting message pack activated on my vodafone no. n it got activated on 01.12.13. Next day I got call from customer care, I received the call but it got disconnected due to signal problem. Then customer care didnt call. The very next day my sim was disconnected (in customer care words suspended). When I enquired, the customer care said that i complained that I have been transfered to different place so I want my sim to get disconnected (but I didnt do so), then customer care agreed to activate the sim. But he didnt do. I again called then he said tht I have complained that my sim is lost so I want my sim to get disconnected (but i didnt say anything like that). Now the customer care is talking very rudely and not getting my sim activated. There is no where my mistake so why should I go to vodafone center to get my sim activated. There is fault from vodafone side that they have mismanaged the information and disconnected my sim.

                                  vodavone — Disconnection of sim

                                  My SIM of vodafone in motorola set is not working despite I have valid IMEI number for my handset.
                                  It is known that if IMEI number is not found in any handset then handset will be deactivated but in my case I have correct IMEI number, but my SIM has been disconnected by service provider.

                                    Hello people this is for public welfare.

                                    DON'T PURCHASE VODAFONE PREPAID/POSTPAID.

                                    My number is [protected].

                                    My balance got deducted by vodafone on 7th January 2013 without any permission from me.

                                    I am never informed by vodafone this.

                                    But when i checked that my balance is only 7 rupees i called to 198.

                                    they did not register my complaint.

                                    As vodafone has done this for intentionally they have made it auto-renewal.

                                    I have requested a lot to customer care office for the same but they told me that though you have not used it you will be charged 30 rupees every time.

                                    I sent an email for the same to nodal.[protected]@vodafone.com & to their appelate officer to refund my 30 rupees & also to make sure for not deducting any further balance for that scheme.

                                    Then also they did not closed the service & despite of my written statement they have again deducted my balance.

                                    I have called to nodal officer at [protected] two times for the same but they did not register any complaint & they again also deducted my balance.

                                    So this i am requesting you all for your own welfare that don't buy Vodafone.

                                    Now i am porting my number to BSNL through MNP.

                                    I am also requesting you for your welfare; now you should decide with what ou are going to continue ? with a fraud/cheater who starts balance deuctions again & again without any prior notice; prior permission or to the REPUTED GOVERNMENT NIGAM THAT IS BSNL ???????????

                                    We called on your number but there was no response. Please be informed that the Live Astro service was activated on your number via IVR with effect from January 07, 2013 and you were charged Rs.30/month for the same. Hence, the charges are valid. We regret our inability to reverse the same.

                                    Vodafone — Account balance deduction without any prior notice

                                    My name is Asim Kumar Kundu and I am an existing customer of Vodafone .My mobile number is [protected].Last Friday(15/7/2011) I found that a caller tune has been activated and 45 Rs from my account has been deducted without any prior notice.

                                    Please look into this.

                                    Vodafone — Fraud and deduction of wrong charge

                                    Hi,
                                    I am using Vodafone SIM ([protected]) from last 3 Years; mostly I have recharged my SIM with any SMS Pack. This month without my request service provider has renewed my SMS service by getting charged from my Core Balance and sends a intimation message to me that "Rs 63.0 has been deducted from your account. Enjoy benefit of 500 local/national SMS daily till 18/Oct/11To deactivate this pack send CAN SMS63 to 144".
                                    I have already sent the deactivation request and service got reactive but the amount has not been reverted back to me.
                                    My query is that without my knowledge and acceptance why service got activated to my number. If I have not read the message carefully than i has lost my money by illegal manner through company.

                                    your company was alreaady informed in writing on 5th Feb 2013 itself ( 1day Before deduction) for not make further deductions.
                                    then also you have done so.

                                    the reason is only that you are bloody money snatchers.

                                    It is very much easy to understand that you are already informed on 1 day before deductions to terminate this activites.
                                    despite of my order you have done so because you are fraudulents; money snatchers beggars.

                                      i will suggest you ( this is only my suggestion; you take yor decision by your own sole descition) terminate vodafone & go for some other operator..
                                      it is sole descrition & not descition.

                                        Dear sir/madam

                                        I use Vodafone services on my mobile. I frequently use my debit card to make online recharges.
                                        Today 06/02/2013 at 01:45 pm i was trying to perform a online recharge of rs 300 on mobile no [protected].
                                        The transaction was incomplete, but in spite of that rs 300 was deducted from my account..
                                        1. I immediately called up Vodafone services for the same. They confirmed no transaction was made or any kind of recharge was done.
                                        2. I confirmed the mobile number..( to rule out error on my side).
                                        3. I called up my local Bank of Maharashtra help desk and they forwarded a contact no and an email id [protected]@billdesk.com.


                                        I shall be obliged if you can provide me with a solution
