Vodafone complaint — NEED NAME, ADDRESS OF VODAFONE MOBILE

I am having serious problem with one vodafone mobile phone who has misused my BSNL landline to the extant of Rs.15,000. I have to trace this owner and file complaint with police. I have a land line phone with you, that has been dead over the past three week-ends. I run a small B&B business for a few months of the summer.     Dear Sir,

    First Vodafone want me to pay Rs. 1864 then now Rs. 1951. This is even after sending the request well in time to deactivate my number effective 1st May itself. Vodafone dont take request before the billing cycle completes (when I called Vodafone on 26th April, their executive literally threatened me saying your BB599 plan will not be considered if you put request now and you will be charged for all internet usage!!). And when I send vodafone request on 30th April in email, Vodafone send me reply saying Why do you want to deactivate we have better plans for you? I had to send them request for deactivation again on 3rd May. Vodafone replied me on 5th May without giving full information on my security deposit amount etc, and when I enquire they did not responded with the amount saying our system is unable to tell that info and asked me to go to Vodafone store for the same.
    The whole above "DRAMA" takes 8 days and on 8th May Vodafone want me to pay for the rental and taxes on prorata basis for these 8 days.....!!! Why ?? What is my fault here??? Vodafone's poor system takes 8 days to settle one account deactivation request and they charge customer for their inefficiencies??

    I regret to say, that I will never ever come back to VODAFONE in my life to get this pathetic treatment after being a vodafone loyal user for many years!!
    Anyway, I have paid for Rs. 1660 (billed amount for April ) just now and keeping balance payment of Rs. 300 pending and requesting them once again to give my security deposit amount details so that I can settle balance amount against that security deposit.

    Kindly help in this.

          Got a similar missed call on 10th Dec '10 in the morning , from [protected]. and I called back, I thought that is India number, that person who talks in hindi, he said that you won 25 lakh lottery from Vodafone for your special number, and he given a number ([protected], Vijay Kumar, Senior Supervisor) asked me to call to him,I didn't make any calls to that number, as I understand it's fake calls.
          One request for Vodafone Service is please disable the International out going service and activate when ever they want to call to international calls by the confirmation from your support team. we simply replied to them not even to see from which country the number is. actually I have seen the number from my mobile is like +9234..., I thought that it's somewhere from India, if out going call is failed I should know that number is other than India.

          Hi! i am trying to open your webpage but your complaint page is not open
          i received two missed call from the number [protected] on 12.04.2012 evening. i called back to this number on 13.4.2012 evening. the person who picked the number told he is name is Binay Kumar, calling from Mumbai and my phone number has won the prize of 25 lakhs against the sim number 89912 and to redeem the money just call back to this number. then i observed that the country code of the number is of Pakistan and when search the number i found that the people have received lots of fake calls from this number. i am surprised to know, how the people are able to know my sim number and future i don't want to receive these calls. also the action should be taken against the people who are makeing these type of calls.

            I have purchased a Vodafone SIM card with the number [protected] on January 2011 in my name by providing all necessary documents. Approximately six to seven months later I provided a second set of these documents upon request from the company. Now on last Thursday on 3rd of May my number was suddenly deactivated without any form of prior notifications. Upon inquiries to Vodafone I was provided with no details about the reasons for the occurrence of the problem. After more than 24 hours of further waiting and inquiries the people at the Vodafone store told me the reason was due to document mismatch and it was because they did not have my documents. Also they told me the number i was using was registered in another person's name and refused to explain any reasons for such an issue in a very unhelpful manner. They insisted that my only option was to provide another set of documents after 5 days and nothing else could be done. After inquiring further today I have been told that my number has been provided to another person. Any further attempts made by me to ask for further details was met with complete lack of cooperation and the only solution anyone in Vodafone is willing to provide is asking me to wait.

            Vodafone — Deactivation of Service without valid reasons

            Dear Sir,

            Complaint 1 - related to Number [protected]
            I have Vodafone postpaid number [protected] which I use since last 2 years.

            However, since I am in Jakarta for the last 11 months, I converted the Postpaid Telephone to Prepaid connection on 13th April 09, and paid all the undue amounts + lifetime fee.

            This change was done at the Vodafone outlet in Vile Parle Mumbai. New form was also filled up and the Original Passport was given, copy taken by them. Photograph was also affixed on the form and all was complete in all respect.

            The Prepaid service was activated and all was fine.

            The same day, I had my flight for Jakarta and within 2 days, I received SMS on the number in Indonesia to resubmit the documents.

            Today, 15th May 09, when I called the Customer Care, they informed me that they have not received the papers. Where did the Vodafone Customer Care outlet send the papers??

            I made the service into Prepaid and paid all the charges for the reason that I can receive the SMS in International roaming.

            I make payments online and need to add new payee for which I get confirmation on my above vodafone number. Now since the service is deactivated, its a huge problem as sometime, there are defaults for payments for bills / creditcards etc.

            Same thing happened when earlier I had purchased 1 more Prepaid card - number [protected].
            They deactivated the service in 2 days saying that the signature on the Card does not tally with the signature of my passport.

            Inspite paying the bills regularly for 2 years, the explanation is horrible and cannot be accepted.

              Hi,

              I am using the number [protected]. I raised the complaint against the 3g service and the change of plan almost a 10 days ago.
              Still they have not resolve the ticket. No one is taking responsible to resolve. Every-time they are giving some absconding answers and the block my Sim for almost 15 days without any reason. And always their answer is "sorry for the inconvenience". And i went 8 times to vodafone outlet they also not resolved.
              Can any one help me to take legal action against the VODAFONE.

After 3 days I got a reply that the service will be activated soon. Its today after more than one week when I called up customer care, I am informed that voicemail service is activated on my number which I hadn't asked for. When I ask the customer care the guy kept on saying "let me check in my system", then replying "in my system its showing dis plan, for that you have to mail customer care again".                       There is no doubt that this thing has frustrated me a lot so I've
                      decided to port my vodafone Karnataka number to Airtel. I find so many funny
                      things with Vodafone service and one of them is certainly not being honest
                      with customer money and second is to not to allow the change of address even
                      when I requested on phone with customer rep. Now, I've to struggle to get my
                      check from my old company address; let me know if there is any possibility
                      of issuing new check at different address otherwise I am ready to forget
                      whole money.

                      I strongly feel that this was very unfair from Vodafone but I don't want to
                      continue to waste my time anymore. Thanks.

                        I brought a Vodafone NetCruise on the 3rd of May , a post paid connection. I was told that the connection will be activated within 48 hours. I brought the product from the Ghatkopar East gallery. The sales guy out there was so sweet, that he convinced me saying the connection will be activated well in time. But since 48hrs have passes by, I gave a call to customer care asking them what was my status and to my surprise the call center executive told me that my documents and number were yet to be punched form the gallery people side.

                        This is highly irresponsible and careless behavior which is unacceptable. I am a marketing guy and always on the move. Firstly a plug and play device take 2 days to get activated and on top of that the officials have or show such disgrace while performing their duties. Is Vodafone all about just making the initial sales and then leaving the customer unhappy?

                          My mother got a sms “Wolrd Alter seva. 3 june ko aapke balance se 30 rs katege.” Like that. Is it service of any company. Without any recommandation of customer. She did not request for this type of service, but company is providing them this service in villages on 30 rs charges for the same
                          Is this valid and appropriate service in villages? Just send a sms to them and detect money from their account.

                          Vodafone — Unauthorized charge for a Service

                          Hi,

                          My Name is Pushkin Bansal and I am in possession of a Vodafone Number [protected] which was activated in the month of August 2009.
                          Since the Month of December 2010(exact date 11/12/2010), Vodafone has been charging me for some "Hungama Song Download" service which cost Rs.5 per day till last week when i had to manually deactivate the service.

                          When i asked for clarification for the same they told me that they can not revoke the charges as the service was activated on my request and the Activation Date is 03/02/2011 that is almost 2 months after the actual date from which i am being charged.

                          This ambiguous statement is not being given a clarification too and they said they will not repay me the charges.

                          Also during the course of my conversation with them over Email, they supposedly informed me that my email address has also been changed even though i did not request for any.

                          your expert assistance is requested in this matter.

                          I'm being charged for the services I have never opted or used. In my previous bill on both my numbers [protected] and [protected] with corporate plans, I found charge of 15/- for callertunes. My numbers have no callertunes and the default is normal tring tring. I've contacted vodafone a number of times to waive off the charges but got the same reply that callertunes is activated for my numbers.

                          If I was charged for the boring TRING TRING every mobile phone user should also be charged the same.

                          I request the concerned team to investigate on this and take the appropriate action.

                          Vodafone — Unauthorized yearly charges for internet

                          I had requested Vodafone on April 15th 2011 for unlimited activation of blackberry services (599/month plan) on my blackberry bold hand set. The same was activated but they charged me a one time payment of 4999/year for the services even though it wasnt authorized by me. I made several complaints and had been to the Fort Mumbai branch and met the manager who promised me to do an reversal on the amount which is 4999. But to my horror the bill was passed and i pay my bill thru ECS and even after my repeated requests, an amount of 7038 was auto debited from my account. The customer service of Vodafone is really pathetic and they are so cold to customer requests. I wish to sue them over this. Can some pls help me

                          1) I was in roaming and for every msg i send in roaming the msg populate that 1.5 rs deducted bt after few days i realised that everyday my 30-40 rs extea are getting deducted. what i called to customercare they told me that due to raoming every msg cost 4 rs. dis is already too high..n if they r sending msg that 1.5 rs are deducted then y 4 rs are deducted...

                          2) Once i subscribed for vodafone to vodafone free service den after that for around 2 months i didnt subscrcibe this service bt suddenly on the 3rd month my 250 rs got deducted from my account balance saying that nw V2V is free. however i didnt susbcribed that. when i talked to customercare regarding the same they said it was auto renewed on ur mobile no.
                          dis vodafone agai deducted my 25o rs... eriously vodafone sucks...taking out my money lik anything.. so so much hidden charges they hav.. and any time dey wil renew any scheme on ur account and u would b having no clue for this.. and deduct money ..and den will say it was auto renewed...

                          HI I Am using vodofone no [protected], every time my mobile restarts they are charging around 15 RS, and there are charges for unsubscribed data plan, blindly taking the money. even if we call to cc they are not responding properly. they simply cut the calls, no remedy at all. made complaints so many times. and some times they are sending the full taktime offer, if we recharge for that amount again there will be the service charges and tax reduction even if we recharged within that time frame, I really fed up with vodofone services, I never faced such n number of problems within few days in some other service provider.

                            I get unwanted calls from [protected] , the person calling says he's calling from Mumbai high court or sometimes Rajasthan police and inquires about some "Lomi Shikhu". On asking where he got my number from his reply is my dad gave him my number, but on asking my dads number he says he don't have it and misbehaves and uses derogatory words and disturb me every now and then. Kindly help me from this jerk.

                                I have activated a BBM internet service on 3rd of may 2012 at 00:17, but the service was not activated from vodaphone till 22:55 in between that when i tried to reach the vodaphone customer care not able to connect i tried at least 100+ time to connect them, i have never got connected once in day, then i found a head of vodaphone relation ship manager contact number and i drafted 2 SMS to that person after that i got a call from [protected] and he informed me that he is looking into this matter and he will get back to me after that he never called me back my money was also got deducted from my main balance account, when i tried to reach him he was not answering my call and till now he is disconnecting my call, then i have done a recharge of rupees 20 from vodaphone website the amount got deducted from my bank account and they have still not send me the balance after that i have reached to vodaphone gallery and done a 50 rupees recharge, the persone told me that he don't have the change that's why he given me 40 rupees he promised me he will recharge me mobile with the 10 rupees which i have not received yet (Ambernath East Vodaphone center) i have given them a full day to solve my issue, but they don't care, i spend at least 250 rupees + harassment, i really want to show them they are the big company but we are spend a mony that the reson they are their., request you pepole to help me.

                                  I am still waiting for my cheque. Vodafone Administration and authorities are playing around my cheque. They have dispatched my refund cheque of amount Rs. 1500/- twice till now. One dated on 31st December 2011 and another on 1st April 2012. Amazing service of Vodafone is that I haven't received either of my refund cheque...
                                  It's like Vodafone love to harass their customers if they withdraw Vodafone service due to their erratic kind of services and replies...

                                  Amazing thing is that the Nodal Desk of Mumbai who are called to be the quick response and perfect desk also providing no proper response to my refund money....

                                  This pathetic irritating and erratic kind of response was never ever expected from such a reputed service providers...

                                  Will never recommend any one to go with Vodafone... As You will be feeling irritated after withdrawing their services...
