Dear Sir/Madam,

This is Vishal patel from Surat Gujarat. I am using vodafone connection Mobile no. [protected] since past 5 years. I had registered for the Dont disturb services. Under this service I am not suppose to receive any promotional offer calls/message from other companies but then also it has no meaning of activating such services. I had given so many request to customer care & i have been told that they will take the action against the message sender or caller But nothing has been intitmated to me, I mean what sort of action they have taken what is the status of the complain.

In regards of the same I would like to give the details of the message senders/callers & disturbing me during my working hours where I am suppose to be in meeting with juniors/seniors.

I also want to know that what are the actions taken by vodafone against my complains.

Hutch — To ban the promotional calls

Dear Sir, i am a doctor my number is [protected] i will be working on patients and every now and then i get promotional calls which is very much disturbing. some times i will have to remove my gloves, wash my hands to receive this stupid call, leaving the patient in bleeding condition. i am trying to reach ur customer care since so many days but the executives are always busy. it was not like this earlier when it was hutch at least we were able to speak to the executives.

one more thing the vodafone logo in my moblie has cum with a white background which is not at all gud. please remove that background.

Vodafone Essar — Promotional calls and messages

The requests to register my number in DND list were registered on 26/10/09, 05/11/09 and 10/11/09 by vodafone call center . . . . . First message was also sent to activate DND on 25/10/09. But still i am recieving unwanted promotional calls as well as messages daily. Vodafone promises to activate DND within 72 hours. But i didn't get relief so far. . . I can't change my cell number. . When i send message to START DND, it shows already activated. Can't court/govt look into the matter as i have all the recordings and proof.

Vodafone — activation of other services without prior information/request

Additional services like MCI alerts and Music station service was activated on my mobile Number, with out my consent. The Music station service was activated on my mobile no. without my consent on 10th november 2009, then after sending the message for deactivating the service on 14 th november the service did not deactivated, and it continued in the next week also to charge Rs. 12 , finally I went to vodafone store in mohali, on 21st nov 2009 and I got this service deactivated, for which I spent my whole day. then today on 23rd november again the service called MCI alerts has been activated on my mobile no. despite of my denial for this service when I was asked for it by the vodafone representative through a phone call at 5 PM. What I felt by talking to the vodafone representative today is that they are trying to force me to take this service. I called to customer care today after this problem, and I have been told by the customer care represntative to call tomorrow. I am getting disturbed in my daily activities due to these problems and at the same time I am suffering the financial loss for which I am not responsible. I wish to get justice in this regard
Vodafone tends to do such things. You should file a major complaint on them in their registers and consumer court as well. When vodafone doesnt reply give a written complaint after 2 - 3 days itself. and also tell them about the customer court complaint.

Vodafone Essar — No service

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Bhavin Rajyaguru from Kandla Logistics Pvt. Ltd.

I have my new office at 903, Aalap - B, Limda Chowk. we have no network of Vodafone from three month and also i have given reminder to authorised person for many times, But no revert from them.

So i need help regarding this matter.

    I was issued a Micro-Sim card from Vodafone Store at Rajib Chowk on 23 May 2012 and I was told by Mr. Hanny of the store that it will take 2 to 4 hours time to activate the card and at best, it may take 24 hours. Already, more than 40 hours has passed and in between, I contacted VODAFONE Customer Care at least 3 to 4 times and every time, their representative make a lot of promise for quick activation but till now, the same has not happened. I find that VODAFONE customer care people also in a helpless situation as I am.

    Please advice me how this problem can be quickly resolved.

      I paid the bill at Vodafone electronic machine,and machine was unable to provide the receipt.Complaint has allready been registered in vodafone store (ModelTown) New Delhi, they are denying to provide me the receipt of the payment I made at spot and still no action has has been taken on complaint,allready passed 4 days.I have to claim my mobile bill from company.what will I do.

        Vodafone — Poor Service - slow work

        Poor service in Vodafone Store Shop No.1, Rajashree Plaza Opposite Shreyas Cinema LBS Road.

        Bad experience from this store. They are handling customers very slowly.(Long queue/employers were not on desk) Overall Work - is very slow/poor.

          I have recharged gprs 2G plan for 30 Days on 23/05/2012 but I get this plan only for 29 days, this plan will end at 21/06/2012.
          This plan valid for 30 days but I got it valid only for 29 days.

            vodafone 3g service is worst. Service is also fully dissatisfaction.

            i took data card(dongle) for 1500/- with two months data free usage.

            But the speed is very less. I did not get proper response. But it will show usage is more.

            I asked them change the plan(which is existed).
            For corporate customers, we can request through mail.

            i requested in mail earlier they did not send proper plans.
            then i sent a mail to disconnect the connection.
            i received a call from the executive.

            i visited customer care. no proper response.
            after that i asked them to change 2g plan unlimited(399).
            she confirmed and i return my request.

            After 15 days, at the time of bill generation, i sent a mail quoting the above and asked them to change the plan as per the call.

            Same thing , we donot have that plans..

            later i sent i[censored] provide the 2g plan, i ll continue the service, else disconnect the connection.

            now, they activated the plan.

            My name is Ranjit Warrier and my number is [protected].

            I do not have the request number because when i call (198) today 10 mins back i have been told by a representative name "Gangadhar" that there is no reference numbt for this. But I wish I would have received the a request number.

            I am using Vodafone from almost 7 years. I have been waiting for 3G service from March 2011, Its very unfortunate that whenever I call the customer service (198 or 111) I will get a response from the person that "it will be launched in another one weeks time" (if its month end) or "It will be launched defenietly in the first week of next month" (if its begining of the month). They also told that there is some technical issues because of which they are not able to launch 3G service. I cant understand that howcome only vodafone bangalore has this issue where all the other service providers like airtel, docomo, aircel have the 3G service.

            I am very disappointed with this and would like to know whether Vodafone will be coming with 3G service or not. If not then i can switch to any other service provider who have the better service and who keep the word unless like Vodafone.

            I am sorry to say that I AM NOT HAPPY WITH SERVICE PROVIDED BY VODAFONE. YOU GUYS NEVER KEEP UP THE WORD. Once I have been promised that I will be getting a call for a particular issue but till today I have not received any call regarding that issue which is almost 2 years back.

            I totally agree with you. I too wanted to change my vodafone to 3G, but 2 months passed and nothing happened & they said same to me. Now I want to Port Out same number to other network and they are saying there is some technical problems and they are trying to fix the since 1month and nothing is happening...
            Vodafone 3G Device No: [protected] Docket No:[protected]

            The above mentioned device [Sharing Dock R 101 with USB stick K-3770] was purchased from Vodafone Store, Park Street on 29 Jun 2012 to enjoy a ‘3G experience’. I was clearly informed that I should be able to get 6 Mbps at my central Kolkata residence. After several complaints a speed test by Vodafone network staff on 12 Jul established a speed of 1.8 to 2.5 Mbps [Copy of test report is with me]. This is more or less the same speed I get on my ‘humble’ BSNL broadband.

            So far Vodafone (a) has claimed the above speed comes under ‘good coverage’ and therefore declined to accept the device back and return my money (b) has raised a bill of Rs 702.25 for period 7 Jul to 17 Jul when the usage was a nominal 0.23 GB and Vodafone had not yet established the 3 G experience as their device was being tested.

            The matter is right now with the Appellate authority but I expect the same answer as from the Nodal Officer whose reply is reproduced below.

            Perhaps my experience will serve as a lesson to others that the ‘3G experience’ promised by Vodafone is a farce and yet surprisingly TRAI, our regulatory authority, permits them to function without any quality test of services offered to consumers.



            My mail to the Appellate Authority:

            I am not satisfied with the reply given by the Nodal Officer (reproduced below).It claims that Vodafone 3G coverage was found to be "good". I have a copy of the test report of your Network Staff which gives the speed as 1.8 to 2.5 Mbps by no standard is this good. In fact it is awful for 3G because I get the same speed on my ordinary BSNL broadband.

            As regards not taking the device back and refunding the amount kindly note that what Vodafone has sold me is a package for 3G. When any item of the package is not working, the entire package is ‘dysfunctiona’l and should be withdrawn. Also courtesy demands that no bills be raised during the period that the 3G has not been established.

            Hoping that you will redress the issues raised in my complaint.

            I recently dialled 111 (vodafone customer care) and got to know through their voice ad that 3G service was available in Punjab. So I got a recharge using *444# for 500MB 3G. But then I was told it is available only in 13 cities of Punjab and I should have asked the customer care before getting the recharge. Now I am getting 2G services at the rate of 3G, which is not acceptable as there was no conditions applied in the ad.

              I am using my current vodafone number ([protected]) for past 3 year having plan 500 min M2M free, 300 LOCAL SMS FREE and STD @ .50 WITHOUT Rental , advance rental of 998 one time paid for the year. I am very much satisfy with the services and bill in my journey of 2 year but this time when i renew my same plan they confirm on my mail that you will surely get all the above mentioned facility BUT when i receive my bill no facility is given to me, i am very much dissatisfy with the bill so i communicate with cust care executive and also mail there customer care and vodafone official 15 to 20 times but didn't get any response from there side.
              I am really very dissatisfy with the services and response from vodafone.
              IT IS CLEAR CASE OF FRAWD BY THE VODOFONE .
              I wasted lot of time in this .

              Please do the needful ASAP.
              It is really appreciable if you revert soon.

              I am not sure which email you are talking about, I think we dint want the email, we want the solution to the same services re-instated however nothing was. The only thing which was done all the time was only, "Sorry we have provided the same as per your plan" which is all crap I believe no one in Vodafone dare to understand and read the previous bill which had to be re-initiated but was never done.

              Please find the attached screenshot which clearly explains what exactly happened. I never received any written or verbal communication about any changes/updation in the plan.

              I would again appreciate to check the previous history for the last 2 years of bill and the current bill after renewal of plan which has great difference and needs good attention.

              If someone can do it that will be appreciable.

                They are forcing me to use vodafone i had also complaint to mr saikat mukherjee (Relationship manager - customer service) but he has not done anything.

                  As i have mentioned in earlier email my number [protected] was in use and i have sent all the details which can prove that it was in use so you can not say that be cause of no usage you have disconnected my number. and as i am using this connection from last 6 yrs its very difficult to update my number to all of my contacts and register for all the services. so please do the needful.

                  Sir/Madam,

                  I, Vivek Kumar Agarwal having Vodafone Prepaid Connection mobile no [protected] and submitted the necessary documents with Passport size photograph three times in the Vodafone Store and they console me that your no get activated with in 3 hours but after two or three days when I inquire about my no is Customer Care they says that visit nearest Vodafone store and after visiting there they say that you have to again submit the documents. This is happening since last 12 days.

                  Now today when I call Customer Care again they are saying I have to go to store to submit the documents cause Vodafone store didn't place the STAMP on the documents. I am asking you that Is this my fault that Store didn't put any Stamp in the documents. And why I bear this fault done by the store people. I visited store 5 times in last 10 days which is 15 KM from my place.

                  I am having the problem due to your store people which are inexperienced and having lack of knowledge to suggest peoples coming to your store. They are total useless and never cooperate with their customers and provide wrong information and guidance and never intimate people about their problems.

                  I, Vivek Kumar Agarwal having Vodafone Prepaid Connection mobile no [protected] and submitted the necessary documents with Passport size photograph three times in the Vodafone Store and they console me that your no get activated with in 3 hours but after two or three days when I inquire about my no is Customer Care they says that visit nearest Vodafone store and after visiting there they say that you have to again submit the documents. This is happening since last 12 days.

                  Now today when I call Customer Care again they are saying I have to go to store to submit the documents cause Vodafone store didn't place the STAMP on the documents. I am asking you that Is this my fault that Store didn't put any Stamp in the documents. And why I bear this fault done by the store people. I visited store 5 times in last 10 days which is 15 KM from my place.

                  I am having the problem due to your store people which are inexperienced and having lack of knowledge to suggest peoples coming to your store. They are total useless and never cooperate with their customers and provide wrong information and guidance and never intimate people about their problems.

                  My Mobile no is not working since last 12 days as this is my official mobile no I am facing several problems.

                      company was told of such practices but they did not care.

                        I have applied in vodafone for mobile number portability from Airtel to Vodafone. My number is [protected].
                        I gave my document on 9th Arp'12 to a (Mr Pankaj) Vodafone guy work at C-45, Okhla Office Phase I & As per the terms and commitment my number was suppose to get activated in vodafone with 7-10 day however that was not the situation in my case, My number got activated on 12th May'12 almost after 35 days & that particular period i have faced a lot of mental trauma, pressure & mental sickness just because of vodafone.

                        I SPOKE with atleast 10-12 different people in vodafone, requesting them all to activate my number however none of them supported me atall & i was treated like tennis ball; everytime thrown at different court. I am not even getting replies from their Nodal, Appellet, Corporate care & Vodafone care mail ID. It seems like none of them want to help me in this.

                        I works at Sahara India Pariwar & i have applied for a Corporate connection however My number was activated on 12th May'12 with Individual plan whereas I have applied for a Corporate Sahara India Pariwar plan. Now, its 20th May'12 & since 12th , i am again following up with vodafone to convert my number under corporate plan of our co. but still this time also case is the same; NO ONE IS SUPPORTING ME ON THIS.

                        I Bought my blackberry just for official purpose however just because of this case "I AM UNABLE TO USE MY PHONE"
                        I have still not received any revert & resolution on my case. Kindly support !! I

                          On April 7th 2012, I applied for Vodafone number [protected] by dialing the toll-free number [protected] and they gave me the Vodafone Value Plan of Rs 149/-. A representative came and he took Rs. 250/- as security deposit from me. He also took my signature on a document where it was written Rs. 250/- as a security deposit. However, there was no receipt given by him and I thought that there was no need of such thing as Vodafone Value Plans themselves state on the site that which plan has a security deposit of a particular amount. The representative before coming had called me.

                          However, even after a week, the sim card provided by the representative always showed 'registration failed'. I asked the Vodafone customer care via e-mail and they said that my number has been activated since April 12th and I should be able to make calls. When I said that I cannot and therefore plz cancel the connection and refund my security deposit, they said that I did not pay any security deposit. Also, they refused to give details of that conman representative saying that there is no such procedure of disclosing their names. I warned them not to send any Vodafone bill as I am terminating my connection.

                          Then a girl from their customer care center called me and asked me for my sim number. I told her that I provided it the e-mail which I gave but still for these nerds I recited it again. She then informed me that the sim card number is provided by error and is defective. She then said that she would provide me with another sim card but I scolded her saying that she is nobody to decide on my behalf.

                          Even though I warned them not to send the Vodafone bill and through e-mail I had applied for disconnection, these nerds yet sent me the bill which had only rent of Rs. 149 + taxes and no call charges.
                          The number of that conman executive would be known to me when my MTNL bill would come as who called me on 7th April, 2012. But meanwhile is there anyway by which Vodafone could refund my Rs. 250/- and other damages like harassment etc.

                          ALSO, IS THERE ANYWAY BY WHICH THEY CAN SHOW THAT DOCUMENT WHERE I SIGNED AND IT WAS WRITTEN THERE AS RS. 250/- AS SECURITY DEPOSIT?

                                I once by mistake activated vodafone SMS pack of 96 instead of Internet pack of 95.

                                It was activated by mistake so I thought its just for month so I will try it, but what I never thought is that this service will be attached to my number for lifetime against my wish.

                                They renew any service automatically without informing customers whether they want this service or not.

                                So even though my balance was below 96 they activated daily SMS pack and my balance gets deducted everyday for 200 SMS.

                                I have contacted Customer care and they gave me a SMS code and told me to send it on 144 but I get the reply SMS saying that we upgrading system please try after 24 hours.

                                Your balance gets charged, If you want to get new service then it gets activated but when you want to stop any service they send you this message what a lousy way to force a service.

                                It have been more than one week I have been sending this SMS everyday but still there system is getting upgraded can you believe it.

                                I have called customer service 2 more time to stop this service they told me that service will be stopped within 4 hours but no use they are not doing anything.

                                When it comes to the network no doubt they are the best but when it comes to cheat and loot customer still no one can beat the Great Vodafone.

                                Vodafone — unwanted offers through sms

                                I am a vodafone customer and have registered my number 'DO NOT DISTURB' after that I havent got any offers from vodafone and other service providers but today I got a message from BA-LUCKY and got a promotional offer as SMS LUCKY to 56263042 and claim your prize. This type of service provider always sends offers and gets special service charges and dosent gives any feedback. Kindly requested to stop such services which robs general people.

                                Vodafone forcefully charging for unwanted packs from its customers..

                                I have found many discrepancies in my billing for which I need clarifications until then I would not make any payment for the bill generated.

                                In October'14, I have changed my plan from 499 to 375 and in the bill generated for October month, I was charged in pro-rata basis for both the plans. But the discounts were not provided in pro-rata basis for Local and STD calls in that bill. Also, there were charges for MMS sent and for roaming as on 27/09/14. I haven't sent any MMS nor I was roaming Out of Mumbai. These charges were due to network issues, I have raised a complaint also. Even though my number is within Mumbai Circle I'm getting roaming sign on my mobile and that's why I was being charged for.

                                In November month bill, I was again charged for some weird packs which I haven't activated and also for some special messages also. When I searched online, I have found that many Consumer forum

                                Complaint was not resolved. Even though, there was no reply from my complaint. So, I have decided not to pay the bill. But they have stopped
                                my services on the 3rd day after my due date so I have paid partial amount to continue the services. Till now the issue was not resolved and now in January month bill, they have charged me for late fee.I'm really frustrated with the kind of service that's provided by Vodafone and its representatives & supervisors not following up with the complaints raised by its customers.

                                Forcefully adding additional packs without intimation and without customers approval and charging extra money for those packs from the customers is absolutely irritating.

                                This is ridiculous and doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not willing to pay this bill until the issue is resolved on high priority.

                                        I Chandwati is a new customer of Vodafone and my mobile no is[protected].I was going for airtel but my son told me to go for vodafone.And as i took and used after few day problem arose after rechaging vmc 499 plan and felt the worse service.there was no such problem on my airtel.MY Problem is i recharged on 8-5-2012 vmc 499 unlimited plan but when i connected to internet no pages are opening.internet is connected with apn-www and i am using it on vodafone modem.signal is very strong.I complained Voda care but they told it will be fine after 1 day now its 16th day of no use.My son is technical expert and using these gprs services since 7 years..I want my 499 refund or activate 499 unlimited plan for full month as its half month passed.
