i applied for deactivation of Vodafone postpaid simcard ([protected]) in month of January 2012 after that i did'not use the sim card till now. now vodafone people are send me the bill details for paying the bill. i requested for the usuage of bill in that bill details none of the number is not belongs to me i guess some one has hacked my sim card please help me for my problem

      Hi,

      I have raised the complaints to Vodafone for incorrect billing done for my number [protected]. I have taken the facility from Vodafone at Rs 49 for each number that two numbers will not get charged from March 2011.

      I came to know last month that they were charging me Rs 49 for each number and also charging me for the outgoing made on those 2 numbers from the first bill.

      Based on the query raised by me, they have just adjusted wrong billing for past 2 months and mentioned that they are not in a position to reverse the charges charged for earlier than 3 months.

      I want to raise the complaint that all the incorrect charges from the month of March 2011 needs to be reversed as I have relied on the large service provider for their services and my trust is broken completely. Service provider can't say that you should reply for the queries in 3 months period when the issue from their side.

      I request that my complaint shall be raised and I should get the positive reply.

      My name is Rajneesh Raveendran and I am a vodafone customer since jan 2008. On an average I download content for aroung Rs.800 a month so in an attempt to reduce my expenditure I decided to sign up for one of vodafone's mobile connect packages for 499 a month. At the time of signing up for the service, I was informed that I would get 500mb free download. After the activation of the service, I noticed a sudden increase in my unbilled usage. So I called customer service for an explanation. I was again informed that I have 500 mb free download and that I can keep on using the service and I will get the appropriate credit at the time of bill generation. On my bill I saw a charge of Rs. 4012 for downloading around 400mb. So I called vodafone care again only to find out that the package provides 500mb free browsing, not downloading. Now according to me these charges are invalid and fraudulent as I was misled by the customer care department. To support my arguement I have recorded most of my interactions with vodafone's customer care department.
      My Vodafone bill last month inflated to Rs.2000plus from below Rs.1000 that I used to get every month ever since I got my connection last year. The customer service told me it was because of my interne connection. But I have hardly used any internet on my phone nor had opted for that. Who should I complain to?

      I got a new connection from Vodafone mobile service providers for a monthly plan of Rs.199. I got my first month bill for Rs. 2870 out of which Rs. 2400+ was charged for Vodafone astrology call alone. The bill indicated that I have used the astrology for almost 5 hrs. My mobile phone is a very old one and it will not have a backup time for a 5 hrs call. It was around 2.30 in the afternoon when the call was said to be made and I was at my office busy with my work and never had time to touch my phone. I'm confident that these calls should have been initiated by the Flash message which flicks every single minute (it wont go off even though the keypad is locked). I asked for a leverage from Vodafone since the call was not made by me. The vodafone customer care was very unfriendly and they were mainly concentrating only on the money and not the customer satisfaction. I have asked them for the call recording for the entire 5 hrs and they refused to give and said that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for this. I'm a BPO guy and work in night shift and I must keep my mobile switched on for any service calls while I sleep. I get almost 4 to 5 calls everyday to pay the vodafone bill. I have asked them to rework my bill and they have never listened to me. Im being punished everyday for getting the vodafone connection and I need a justice for all my pain and money.
      I have noticed that in my previous two invoices, I have been charged with the Vodafone Live charges without having taken the service.

      Whilst I use the WiFi outside India or at the airport, that does not mean, Vodafone should levy these charges without my notice.

      Further, they never informed about these charges, at any time while taking the plan or later.

      When I lodged a complaint with them, they told me that it comes by default (whereas that was not the case earlier). This is clearly a case of non-disclosure of charges to a consumer, providing service, without being asked for, hence, this is clearly, a case of hidden charges levied to consumer, without their consent.

      Not sure how many consumers have been lootted by this. Thank
      VODAFONE IS CHEATING CUSTOMERS.

      I bought a new post paid connection, I was guaranteed free 2000 minutes of outgoing calls. But when it reached 800, they barred my connection saying you have to make payment. Now they are not allowing me to cancel my connection until next month.

      This is in regards to the new connection that I had taken from Vodafone the number being [protected]

      I had also taken the SMS pack for RS 150.00 a month in which I would get 15000 SMS free ,, which was not added to my a.c by the lady name (Disha) from the Vodafone STORE in Goregaon WEST , from whom I had taken the connection ,,,,, due to which my unbilled usage was getting high as the messages charges were not getting adjusted towards the plan I had taken ,and my services (outgoing calls and outgoing messages)were barred, so I went to the store they checked my a,c ,they people at store apologized for the inconvenience cause and accepted that it was an error from their end and activated the line ,,0020

      Again after 2 days the line was disconnected , for which I again went to the sore and they activated it again ,,, this happened for almost 6 times , and then I get my 1st bill for approx 3700.00 all SMS charges as they had not activated the plan , for which I walked to the store again and was advised the charges will be reversed in 2 days which was not done , I went again to the store after a week SINCE THIS TIME THEY HAD DICSONNECTED MY SIM TOTALLY FOR THE UNBILLED USUAGE BEING HIGH , and ultimately after 2 weeks they reversed the charges , till then my second bill was generated

      This happened again on the second bill too and I had to go to the store almost more 4 times, and my services were barred this entire time and they were not willing to activate it without an interim payment , which I refused to do , since it was Vodafone’s error that they had not activated the plan ,,,,, since the issue wasn’t fixed even after speaking to several people at the store an even (MAMTA ) the team leader . Hence I asked to cancel the services, for which they happily agreed to, and I didn’t pay the bill since the charges were invalid


      And even my the bill is not corrected and I am getting collections calls and people visiting my residence, harassing me to pay the bill , which is incorrect

      I have again gone to store after a month from cancelling the number to check on the status of the issue and again I was advised it was done due to some error and will be done in another 48 hours , and its still not done
      Am still receiving collections calls and now they have even cancelled my other Vodafone number [protected] due this bill not being paid , and Vodafone store refuses to activate the other number ([protected] )unless this bill is paid ,

      I am a Blackberry user and I have free unlimited internet usage on my phone, inspite of that I was charged INR40 for Internet usage.

      The conpany says this is for Vodafone Live, however I have below points that I have not got an answer to.

      vodafone iphone internet prepaid plane show me
      I'm using 3 vodafone CUG connections and after lots of efforts these got activated. Initially I was suffering with service issue and that got resolved after 1 month followup. I've got alert of bill amount 2200/- While it should not be more than 1000 according to usage. I didn't receive bill and following up for the same since 13th May 2011. Now due date has come up within 2 days and still I'm waiting for bill.

      Since billing has made wrongly so how can I pay the amount without seeing bill. I have sent e-mails but no response. I have called Customer Support and every time they said that bill will be sent within 2 business days???? Is there any sense of customer service and commitment????

      I see "Rental_MI_VOL_100_30d_3G" service rental Rs 100 in my August 2011 month bill. I got three days rental in July bill. Immediately I called up customer care and told that I did not asked for this service. They took a complaint. I unfortunately I did not follow it up with them.

      Again my August month bill shows rental for 30 days. I am calling again and again but issue is not getting solved. I even sent a mail to corporate services. It is very bad on Vodafone side charging customers with rentals which services are not requested by them. After my this experience I feel like Vodafone is searching wrong paths to earn money. Please disable Rental_MI_VOL_100_30d_3G service on my account and also revert the charged rental.

      Even after telling them they still continued to charge me on regular basis.

      1. as monthly internet 2GB @ 99 rupees
      2. monthly rent for internet unlimited @ 199 rupees
      3. data download charged - ( not reached to 2 gb) but still charged

      Vodafone — INCORRECT charges levied for INTERNET & SMS

      I received the soft copy of my latest bill (bill date = 18th jan’12) today through mail.
      Again this time you have charged incorrect charges on the following (details as below):
      • Internet usage
      • SMS
      First, Not I am and nor I was owning & using any IPHONE, fyi.
      Second, this is my company sim card wherein we are not supposed and allowed for Internet usage and because of that I had personally visited VODAFONE store at Fort and requested to stop my internet, long before my Billing Date i.e. 18th jan’12.
      I am not able to understand what & where is the problem?? This is not the first time you are charging the incorrect charges on my bill.

      I received a mobile phone bill on 25th January with a bill amount of Rs.13771.17.

      On analysis i found out that my internet usage is shown as 4387140 KB.
      I have an internet pack VMC_VL99_2GB. which gives me 2GB internet usage at Rs 99.
      further usage will be charged 10paise/10KB.

      My previouse months internet usage has been 1233440KB , and 370780KB. With my normal usage , my utilization can never exceed 2GB.

      I spoke to the customer care executives , MR Rajnikant - the retention manager at Mangalore and Mr Ganesh from the back office. They are just reiterating that the usage is captured correctly.

      There is definitely a mistake in this usage capture.

      There is one more issue.

      My credit limit is Rs.2000. per month. This means that once my usage excees Rs. 2000 , they stop my outgoing calls.

      My bill according to vodafone had long passed the amount of Rs.2000. My outgoing was never stopped.

      I have received credit linit messages duting this period.

      On 18th January 2012 , my unbilled amount was Rs.2246.

      My Billing cycle is 20th of one month to 19th of the next month.
      This means that there was some problem which occured during the bill day which led to this issue.

      Please help me solve this problem

      I am a Vodafone cell phone user, and have been using their services for a few years. I was traveling in March 2012 for 2-3 days, and activated the daily roaming facility that one can request at Rs.149 or similar each day. I returned to India on March 30, 2012 and deactivated the international roaming immediately.

      Whilst roaming, the phone was used on only one of these days for voice - phone calls. My billing cycle is from the first day of each month until the last day, so March 1 - 31. I received a bill of approximately Rs.4100 in April for the month of March 1-31, 2012, which I paid. However, in June I received a bill for April 1-30 which contained international roaming charges. However, I had not traveled outside Mumbai in April 2012, forget internationally, and told Vodafone about it after receiving the invoice.

      When I asked for an itemized bill Vodafone immediately said there was no international roaming in April, but that it was in March 2012. I indicated I had already paid that bill, and international roaming was included. Then Vodafone's story changed and they said it was also for the month of March 2012 even through the bill said April 1-30. I asked for the itemized bill which they did not send. They sent the same abbreviated bill as they usually do, but sent an email saying they had sent an itemized bill.

      The Nodal Officer admits that there was no international roaming in April 2012, but says there was additional international roaming in March 2012, but refuses to provide details or a detailed bill of calls, if any.

      This is regarding the monthly bill received for the number [protected]. This is Postpaid connection of INR 375 per month.
      I got this postpaid corporate connection on 4th april. The day i got the connection i was commnunicated following plans about this -
      1) I will be getting 1 GB 3G data for free and if i use above 1G data, speed would be decrease to 2 GB and i wont be charged for usage.
      2) I will be getting 500 local/STD minutes per month for free.
      However in previous month i was provided incorrect bill of approx inr 590 that was adjusted by INR 300 in current month bill and still INR 50 needs to be adjusted in previous month bill (i.e.- 4th April - 18th April)
      And, for the period of 18th April-18th may- I received the bill of INR 1477.99 which is totaly unacceptable for me.
      I visited vodafone outlet and i was told that i was charged inr 650 for extra usage of data in the current month bill.
      However as per the plan, extra usage are free of cost.

      For your infomation i have not received any kind of communication from Vodafone for adding such cost in my current plan and without such information how i can be charged for extra money. can you explain?

      In last 45 days, i visited 4 times vodafone outlet, just because of the fault of vodafone billing department, and was not given a satisfactory solutions by the representatives. Which is unacceptable.
      Request you to waive off the amount of INR 700 in my current bill. Send me the updated bill of InR 868 instead of 1477.90.
      I will pay the same and continue with the vodafone, additionally i won't be submitting the whole balance this month and will never wait for the adjustment in next month bill.
      Trust me, this kind of services are getting my nerves and if it wont be resolved asap and continues, i would be switiching to other network without a doubt.
      Hope you would understand all this pain.

          I have corporate connection of vodafone with number [protected]. In the month of jan they have charged me around 500 Rs for iphone usage. I have never used internet on this phone as i have another connection for the same. When i checked on internet , there are many victims of vodafone with same iphone charges. I tried many times to convience them and requested to waive of these charges via email, phone to customer care but they are always very reluctant to do so. They have discontinue my connection without intimating me and now they have sent me legal notice from some consultant. I have more than 10 communication letters for this request also my complaint records in their system. I always paid my billontime and never delayed. Pls help me. Regards, Anand

              On several occasions Vodafone charged me for usage of GPRS services. I requested them to deactivate same as I had no use for such services. They reversed the charges and deactivated the service.

              Despite such repeated reminders and reversal of charges they once again activated the same GPRS service with out my consent and knowledge and drew up a bill of Rs 15317 and are now pestering me for payment.

              I have on record several emails to them that I don't require GPRS on my phone and have no use for it.

                  Vodafone activated some service called game club and deducted rs 35 (for 7 days) from my phone balance. Upon calling customercare the person told me that I must have clicked on link to activate it and they cant do anything for it. I requested them to deactivate it but vodafone is cheating consumers by activating these type of services without customer knowledge and making millions.

                  Today also vodafone activated callertune in my no. Total of Rs 65 (35 for games club and 30 for callertune) has been charged illegally by vodafone. I have submitted the complaint on http://bit.ly/JsNX8j. Lets see whether they will make any refund, else I will complaint in TRAI and PORT out.
                  The charges are valid but your process of charging is not. You could have charged me for above charges IF I had opted for the same..

                    Hutch — To ban the promotional calls

                    Dear Sir, i am a doctor my number is [protected] i will be working on patients and every now and then i get promotional calls which is very much disturbing. some times i will have to remove my gloves, wash my hands to receive this stupid call, leaving the patient in bleeding condition. i am trying to reach ur customer care since so many days but the executives are always busy. it was not like this earlier when it was hutch at least we were able to speak to the executives.

                    one more thing the vodafone logo in my moblie has cum with a white background which is not at all gud. please remove that background.

                    Vodafone Essar — Promotional calls and messages

                    The requests to register my number in DND list were registered on 26/10/09, 05/11/09 and 10/11/09 by vodafone call center . . . . . First message was also sent to activate DND on 25/10/09. But still i am recieving unwanted promotional calls as well as messages daily. Vodafone promises to activate DND within 72 hours. But i didn't get relief so far. . . I can't change my cell number. . When i send message to START DND, it shows already activated. Can't court/govt look into the matter as i have all the recordings and proof.

                    Vodafone — activation of other services without prior information/request

                    Additional services like MCI alerts and Music station service was activated on my mobile Number, with out my consent. The Music station service was activated on my mobile no. without my consent on 10th november 2009, then after sending the message for deactivating the service on 14 th november the service did not deactivated, and it continued in the next week also to charge Rs. 12 , finally I went to vodafone store in mohali, on 21st nov 2009 and I got this service deactivated, for which I spent my whole day. then today on 23rd november again the service called MCI alerts has been activated on my mobile no. despite of my denial for this service when I was asked for it by the vodafone representative through a phone call at 5 PM. What I felt by talking to the vodafone representative today is that they are trying to force me to take this service. I called to customer care today after this problem, and I have been told by the customer care represntative to call tomorrow. I am getting disturbed in my daily activities due to these problems and at the same time I am suffering the financial loss for which I am not responsible. I wish to get justice in this regard
                    Vodafone tends to do such things. You should file a major complaint on them in their registers and consumer court as well. When vodafone doesnt reply give a written complaint after 2 - 3 days itself. and also tell them about the customer court complaint.

                    Vodafone Essar — No service

                      I was issued a Micro-Sim card from Vodafone Store at Rajib Chowk on 23 May 2012 and I was told by Mr. Hanny of the store that it will take 2 to 4 hours time to activate the card and at best, it may take 24 hours. Already, more than 40 hours has passed and in between, I contacted VODAFONE Customer Care at least 3 to 4 times and every time, their representative make a lot of promise for quick activation but till now, the same has not happened. I find that VODAFONE customer care people also in a helpless situation as I am.

                              vodafone 3g service is worst. Service is also fully dissatisfaction.

                              i took data card(dongle) for 1500/- with two months data free usage.

                              But the speed is very less. I did not get proper response. But it will show usage is more.

                              I asked them change the plan(which is existed).
                              For corporate customers, we can request through mail.

                              i requested in mail earlier they did not send proper plans.
                              then i sent a mail to disconnect the connection.
                              i received a call from the executive.

                              i visited customer care. no proper response.
                              after that i asked them to change 2g plan unlimited(399).
                              she confirmed and i return my request.

                              After 15 days, at the time of bill generation, i sent a mail quoting the above and asked them to change the plan as per the call.

                              Same thing , we donot have that plans..

                              later i sent i[censored] provide the 2g plan, i ll continue the service, else disconnect the connection.

                              I do not have the request number because when i call (198) today 10 mins back i have been told by a representative name "Gangadhar" that there is no reference numbt for this. But I wish I would have received the a request number.

                              I am using Vodafone from almost 7 years. I have been waiting for 3G service from March 2011, Its very unfortunate that whenever I call the customer service (198 or 111) I will get a response from the person that "it will be launched in another one weeks time" (if its month end) or "It will be launched defenietly in the first week of next month" (if its begining of the month). They also told that there is some technical issues because of which they are not able to launch 3G service. I cant understand that howcome only vodafone bangalore has this issue where all the other service providers like airtel, docomo, aircel have the 3G service.

                              I am very disappointed with this and would like to know whether Vodafone will be coming with 3G service or not. If not then i can switch to any other service provider who have the better service and who keep the word unless like Vodafone.

                              I am sorry to say that I AM NOT HAPPY WITH SERVICE PROVIDED BY VODAFONE. YOU GUYS NEVER KEEP UP THE WORD. Once I have been promised that I will be getting a call for a particular issue but till today I have not received any call regarding that issue which is almost 2 years back.

I was clearly informed that I should be able to get 6 Mbps at my central Kolkata residence. After several complaints a speed test by Vodafone network staff on 12 Jul established a speed of 1.8 to 2.5 Mbps [Copy of test report is with me]. This is more or less the same speed I get on my ‘humble’ BSNL broadband.

                              So far Vodafone (a) has claimed the above speed comes under ‘good coverage’ and therefore declined to accept the device back and return my money (b) has raised a bill of Rs 702.25 for period 7 Jul to 17 Jul when the usage was a nominal 0.23 GB and Vodafone had not yet established the 3 G experience as their device was being tested.

                              The matter is right now with the Appellate authority but I expect the same answer as from the Nodal Officer whose reply is reproduced below.

                              Perhaps my experience will serve as a lesson to others that the ‘3G experience’ promised by Vodafone is a farce and yet surprisingly TRAI, our regulatory authority, permits them to function without any quality test of services offered to consumers.



                              My mail to the Appellate Authority:

                              I am not satisfied with the reply given by the Nodal Officer (reproduced below).It claims that Vodafone 3G coverage was found to be "good". I have a copy of the test report of your Network Staff which gives the speed as 1.8 to 2.5 Mbps by no standard is this good. In fact it is awful for 3G because I get the same speed on my ordinary BSNL broadband.

                              As regards not taking the device back and refunding the amount kindly note that what Vodafone has sold me is a package for 3G. When any item of the package is not working, the entire package is ‘dysfunctiona’l and should be withdrawn. Also courtesy demands that no bills be raised during the period that the 3G has not been established.

                              Hoping that you will redress the issues raised in my complaint.

                              I recently dialled 111 (vodafone customer care) and got to know through their voice ad that 3G service was available in Punjab. So I got a recharge using *444# for 500MB 3G. But then I was told it is available only in 13 cities of Punjab and I should have asked the customer care before getting the recharge. Now I am getting 2G services at the rate of 3G, which is not acceptable as there was no conditions applied in the ad.

                                I am using my current vodafone number ([protected]) for past 3 year having plan 500 min M2M free, 300 LOCAL SMS FREE and STD @ .50 WITHOUT Rental , advance rental of 998 one time paid for the year. I am very much satisfy with the services and bill in my journey of 2 year but this time when i renew my same plan they confirm on my mail that you will surely get all the above mentioned facility BUT when i receive my bill no facility is given to me, i am very much dissatisfy with the bill so i communicate with cust care executive and also mail there customer care and vodafone official 15 to 20 times but didn't get any response from there side.
                                I am really very dissatisfy with the services and response from vodafone.
                                IT IS CLEAR CASE OF FRAWD BY THE VODOFONE .
                                I wasted lot of time in this .

                                Please do the needful ASAP.
                                It is really appreciable if you revert soon.

                                I am waiting for good response from you side.

After that i register complaint on 198 number on 8 march but till i don"t get any benefit ..............?

                                I am not sure which email you are talking about, I think we dint want the email, we want the solution to the same services re-instated however nothing was. The only thing which was done all the time was only, "Sorry we have provided the same as per your plan" which is all crap I believe no one in Vodafone dare to understand and read the previous bill which had to be re-initiated but was never done.

                                Please find the attached screenshot which clearly explains what exactly happened. I never received any written or verbal communication about any changes/updation in the plan.

                                I would again appreciate to check the previous history for the last 2 years of bill and the current bill after renewal of plan which has great difference and needs good attention.

                                If someone can do it that will be appreciable.
                                Please find the further detailed analysis of the bill which clarifies the points explained above.
                                I hope this is sufficient and will help you take some decision.

                                    I, Vivek Kumar Agarwal having Vodafone Prepaid Connection mobile no [protected] and submitted the necessary documents with Passport size photograph three times in the Vodafone Store and they console me that your no get activated with in 3 hours but after two or three days when I inquire about my no is Customer Care they says that visit nearest Vodafone store and after visiting there they say that you have to again submit the documents. This is happening since last 12 days.

                                    Now today when I call Customer Care again they are saying I have to go to store to submit the documents cause Vodafone store didn't place the STAMP on the documents. I am asking you that Is this my fault that Store didn't put any Stamp in the documents. And why I bear this fault done by the store people. I visited store 5 times in last 10 days which is 15 KM from my place.

                                    I am having the problem due to your store people which are inexperienced and having lack of knowledge to suggest peoples coming to your store. They are total useless and never cooperate with their customers and provide wrong information and guidance and never intimate people about their problems.
