Hi,

I today on 2-june-2012 at 10:30 pm i recharged my vodafone number [protected] online with 394 rs. unlimited internet. I got message that your internet will be activated soon . that time my 3G network was activated. but after recharging i not got any 3G signals on my this number so i send sms

ACT 3G to 144 , but after sending this sms i received another sms your reqest will be processed soon, and got one more sms your data pack has been deactivated , so i called 198 and asked for this issue they said that because you sent sms ACT 3G TO 144 so your pack has been deactivated ,

Now i don't understand that what is the relation between this sms and my data pack, and if this happened than the company should inform me for confrimation but , without information they deactivatted my pact at 10:40 pm . i have not used any of even KB from this pack and my 394 amount has been wasted.

Please do somthing i want my 394 amount back, why should i suffer for there network fault.

Please note that the 2G pack was deactivated when the 3G pack was activated, as the two services cannot be activated simultaneously.

    I have a Vodafone 3G data card ([protected]) which I purchased from a Vodafone sales person sitting iGATE Bangalore by paying Rs1500 in January 2012 for the device plus two month of internet service.Right from the beginning I have been having issues with connectivity.I have been able to use this data card only in the month of January and not after that due to technical issues.I had once called the call centre in january to inform the same and I now understand that the CSR did not capture this complaint based on what Vodafone is now telling me.Also I received a welcome call from Vodafone and during this call as well I had mentioned that I'm unable to use their data card and the CSR told me that somebody from the Networks team will get back to me and no body did.Also I had initimated the Vodafone sales person sitting at iGATE that I'm unable to use the data card but no body bothered.After witnessing this kind of a customer service attitude I gained enough confidence that Vodafone is not inerested in helping me.Now Vodafone has been sending me reminder e-mails and calling me repeatedly to pay te outstanding amount which is now Rs2000+ which apparently is for bills generated from march onwards of this year.I once recevied an e-mail from Vodafone asking me to pay the amount and I responded that I can pay the bill citing the above story and that I could never use their services properly after January.After responding to this e-mail I get a call from Vodafone where I told them that if they wish to have me as their customer,they could waive off the amount and convert me to a pre-paid customer and i shall switch to post-paid once I have enough confidence in the services.To this the lady responds saying we can waive off the amount if you promise to be a post-paid customer.To this I said you can not threaten me this way.Now somebody else from the Nodal team writes e-mails to me saying since there is no complaint from your side please pay the amount.I wish to let TARI and Vodafone know that I can not be held responsible if the Vodafone CSRs do not capture my complaint on their systems.All that i can do is complain but not get into the Vodafone database and register the complaint.I need to get this amount waived off and get out of Vodafone.Infact I have another Vodafone number as well which I wish to move to another operator looking at the I'm being cheated by Vodafone.This is one company where no body takes accountability.People will promise you that they will get back to you and will never.I was told this by the nodal team and also by a guy in the Vodafone store a Brookefiels (Whitefield,Bangalore) but nobody ever does.They will call you 10 times to ask you for money but not even once to offer any service.A multinational in India which SUCKS.I would never recommend Vodafone to anybody.

    i ahve faced the same problem, i have paid 1500/- for two months at itc desk at bangalore, but first 15 days it did not work, later after so many complaints it started work but after 1 months i got bill 5000/- and they were disconnected everything, but now forcing me to pay the money pls suggest me how can i proceed, i just raised complaint here only.

        Got a call from your executive on June 1, 2012 that they are offering me a package to upgrade to a post paid number. I agreed and told them to come before 6 to my office before I leave.

        He called me again at 5:19PM to inform that executive will be leaving soon and I should have all the photocopied documents ready. I mentioned that I don't have any photocopy facility here in the office and its already late as I leave office by 6, so lets reschedule it.

        To my surprise he still sent the executive, who started calling me. I informed him that I have rescheduled the appointment. After that your executives started calling me from landline number. They gave me 10 calls in 20 mins. I refused every time that I can't be available now, but they refused to listen.

        What sort of pushy salesmanship is this? They kept giving me miss calls. They are ill trained, and don't have basic etiquette. Tell them to stop reading from scripts and start using their brains a little.

          Dear Sir,

          I Jaspreet Singh Chaudhry having postpaid mobile connection of Vodafone bearing no. [protected] have activated a caller tune on my no. on 31st May.,2012. Before After activating the caller tune i called to customer care to raise my request to remove the marketing message just before the caller tune plays , but this they deny that there is no procedure for that.

          But this is wrong, as fotr many of my friends having vodafone postpaid connection markettig message doesnot play before caller tune

          I want to remove that message which is "please press * & 9 to copy this caller tune" play before caller tune began.

          Kindly help me in this case else i need to deactivate it & use MNP to change service provider.

                  I keep receiving this “Session date: xx.xx.2011, Last session cost is x.xx INR. Consumed volume: x.xx MB” flash message on my Blackberry home screen every now and then. This has been going on since last October. I have a prepaid BB plan activated for the data services (INR 399/month) and I receive my e-mails alright and the BBM works just fine. Given that I am at work pretty much all day and have an internet connection at home, there is seldom a need for me to access internet from the BB. Yet EVERY TIME that I have called up the Vodafone customer care/complaint cell, they keep repeating the same reason for the deduction, i.e., the internet usage. They are so annoying that they just don't listen to you and keep repeating what has been fed to them by Vodafone. "We are sorry for the inconvenience/happy to help you"....Now for starters, neither do they sound apologetic nor do they seem to be in a mood to help you EVER. I am reproducing below an e-mail that I had sent to them almost two months ago and it's shocking to see that they still havent managed to resolve the issue/close the loop on this:

                  "I think you should scrap the call centre as you do not have a clue how frustrating it is for a customer to deal with executives with thick MTIs (read Haryanvi) who are sitting and attending to calls from your call centers based out of Karnal! These executives are not only ignorant about their jobs, they are also rude, uncouth and disrespectful. To top it all, they work under team leaders who are equally incompetent.

                  I have been receiving some incomprehensible alerts (last session date, time, and the amount deducted etc.) on my phone. And when I called up 111 the person on the other end of the line turned out to be obnoxious. He had a thick regional accent and I could not understand a word of what he was saying. When I asked him to go slow, he mocked me by putting me on a speaker phone and talking even faster. He then hung up on me without giving me any information on my query. Pull up my history and you will know who is it that I spoke to yesterday afternoon.

                  When I called up again a few minutes later to file a complaint for the alerts (that I'm getting on my phone) and give feedback for that executive, the other executive suggested that I talk to a supervisor. This person put me on a 15minute long hold and when I got tired of hearing your Vodafone jingle for that long a time, this time I hung up myself.

                  Upon calling up the third time around I was assured of a call back and even given a complaint number. I was promised a call back within 4 hours. Its 24 hours later, that I receive an sms asking to call up 111 as Vodafone was unable to reach me....I call up 111 and fell into the same loop again today.....

                  If only the Vodafone would appreciate the frustration of customers on being kicked from one executive to another....repeating their saga to everyone they happen to speak to, yet for their issues to remain unresolved for no one is accountable for the same......

                  Do away with the call centers! We need to talk to someone responsible, someone who is just not repeating "happy to help you" parrot-like but is actually doing something to help.

                  Need to hear from Vodafone on my unresolved issue...."

                  So this is Vodafone for you. Full of executives who talk in an accent which is not only tough to comprehend but also most annoying.....These folks are Incorrigible!

                  Vodafone — Annoying through calls in midnight

                  A vodafone no [protected] is calling me in the midnight.I want to lodge a complaint for that.Kindly provide me the details like name and address used in this number.

                  I am also receiving similar messages saying Last Session Cost etc. after every 2 minutes. I am using Vodafone prepaid connection for Blackberry services. In the last 12 hours almost Rs.25 have been deducted from my account. I have spoken to almost 8 Customer care executives & each one of them has a different story to tell. On asking to be connected to a senior executive, my call was either disconnected or i was told that they are busy. this is the most pathetic customer service I have come across. After continuous calls I was told to delete my whatsapp. I fail to understand that why should a delete an application, when there has never been a problem with it so far.
                  I have requested a refund in my balance, but have not received any response so far.

                    hi i am umesh chand rohilla . its been 3 weeks that i bought my number. there has been no call for verification of my id. i am fed up of this behaviour from vodafone, whenever i make a call on my number, the auto tone says " this number has been temporarily suspended " .

                        I am using Black Berry Internet services for past 1 year, however form past 15 days i am not able to access any site, tired calling the Vodafone customer care 15 times issue is not resolved. At last yesterday went the vodafone store they said it will be solved in next 24 hours its been 48 hours now but the problem is still the same.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I contacted vodafone for Prepaid to Postpaid Conversion on dated 08/05/2012. One executive come to me and I submitted my Pan Card copy, Licence Copy, One Photograph and SIM CARD Photo copy to him (Self Attested) with One person address proof for identification purpose. There is a problem for my address, then executive told me that they will call me and i will confirm the full address over phone and gave me the Post paid SIM. But due to some personal problem i was unable to attend the call of said executive and i missed the Mobile No. also of executive, then I called customer care No. so they told me that we donot have any information regarding this trascation, you have to contact vodafone office/Nodal Office. But I am regularly trying to available nodal officer no. but this is showing not available. Then i am continuing sending the mail to all concer persons including Nodal Officer, But i am just receiving the system generated mail. Nobody is responding.
                              I have also told them that If you are not interested to provide me Prepaid to Post paid Connection then its ok... Please return my document. But still i didnot get any response from any person from vodafone. This is hieight of mismanagement, I have also confirm my address over Mail.
                              Please sir, Look into the matter and do the needful.

                                I got two missed calls from an ISD number +92 [protected] today (29/05/2012) between 8:30 and 10:30 AM.
                                It looks like a fraudulent racket where consumers are duped. Request vodafone to please check the same.

                                      Hi,

                                      I have raised the complaints to Vodafone for incorrect billing done for my number [protected]. I have taken the facility from Vodafone at Rs 49 for each number that two numbers will not get charged from March 2011.

                                      I came to know last month that they were charging me Rs 49 for each number and also charging me for the outgoing made on those 2 numbers from the first bill.

                                      Based on the query raised by me, they have just adjusted wrong billing for past 2 months and mentioned that they are not in a position to reverse the charges charged for earlier than 3 months.

                                      I want to raise the complaint that all the incorrect charges from the month of March 2011 needs to be reversed as I have relied on the large service provider for their services and my trust is broken completely. Service provider can't say that you should reply for the queries in 3 months period when the issue from their side.

                                      I request that my complaint shall be raised and I should get the positive reply.

                                      My name is Rajneesh Raveendran and I am a vodafone customer since jan 2008. On an average I download content for aroung Rs.800 a month so in an attempt to reduce my expenditure I decided to sign up for one of vodafone's mobile connect packages for 499 a month. At the time of signing up for the service, I was informed that I would get 500mb free download. After the activation of the service, I noticed a sudden increase in my unbilled usage. So I called customer service for an explanation. I was again informed that I have 500 mb free download and that I can keep on using the service and I will get the appropriate credit at the time of bill generation. On my bill I saw a charge of Rs. 4012 for downloading around 400mb. So I called vodafone care again only to find out that the package provides 500mb free browsing, not downloading. Now according to me these charges are invalid and fraudulent as I was misled by the customer care department. To support my arguement I have recorded most of my interactions with vodafone's customer care department.
                                      My Vodafone bill last month inflated to Rs.2000plus from below Rs.1000 that I used to get every month ever since I got my connection last year. The customer service told me it was because of my interne connection. But I have hardly used any internet on my phone nor had opted for that. Who should I complain to?

                                      I got a new connection from Vodafone mobile service providers for a monthly plan of Rs.199. I got my first month bill for Rs. 2870 out of which Rs. 2400+ was charged for Vodafone astrology call alone. The bill indicated that I have used the astrology for almost 5 hrs. My mobile phone is a very old one and it will not have a backup time for a 5 hrs call. It was around 2.30 in the afternoon when the call was said to be made and I was at my office busy with my work and never had time to touch my phone. I'm confident that these calls should have been initiated by the Flash message which flicks every single minute (it wont go off even though the keypad is locked). I asked for a leverage from Vodafone since the call was not made by me. The vodafone customer care was very unfriendly and they were mainly concentrating only on the money and not the customer satisfaction. I have asked them for the call recording for the entire 5 hrs and they refused to give and said that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for this. I'm a BPO guy and work in night shift and I must keep my mobile switched on for any service calls while I sleep. I get almost 4 to 5 calls everyday to pay the vodafone bill. I have asked them to rework my bill and they have never listened to me. Im being punished everyday for getting the vodafone connection and I need a justice for all my pain and money.
                                      I have noticed that in my previous two invoices, I have been charged with the Vodafone Live charges without having taken the service.

                                      Whilst I use the WiFi outside India or at the airport, that does not mean, Vodafone should levy these charges without my notice.

                                      Further, they never informed about these charges, at any time while taking the plan or later.

                                      When I lodged a complaint with them, they told me that it comes by default (whereas that was not the case earlier). This is clearly a case of non-disclosure of charges to a consumer, providing service, without being asked for, hence, this is clearly, a case of hidden charges levied to consumer, without their consent.

                                      This is in regards to the new connection that I had taken from Vodafone the number being [protected]

                                      I had also taken the SMS pack for RS 150.00 a month in which I would get 15000 SMS free ,, which was not added to my a.c by the lady name (Disha) from the Vodafone STORE in Goregaon WEST , from whom I had taken the connection ,,,,, due to which my unbilled usage was getting high as the messages charges were not getting adjusted towards the plan I had taken ,and my services (outgoing calls and outgoing messages)were barred, so I went to the store they checked my a,c ,they people at store apologized for the inconvenience cause and accepted that it was an error from their end and activated the line ,,0020

                                      Again after 2 days the line was disconnected , for which I again went to the sore and they activated it again ,,, this happened for almost 6 times , and then I get my 1st bill for approx 3700.00 all SMS charges as they had not activated the plan , for which I walked to the store again and was advised the charges will be reversed in 2 days which was not done , I went again to the store after a week SINCE THIS TIME THEY HAD DICSONNECTED MY SIM TOTALLY FOR THE UNBILLED USUAGE BEING HIGH , and ultimately after 2 weeks they reversed the charges , till then my second bill was generated

                                      This happened again on the second bill too and I had to go to the store almost more 4 times, and my services were barred this entire time and they were not willing to activate it without an interim payment , which I refused to do , since it was Vodafone’s error that they had not activated the plan ,,,,, since the issue wasn’t fixed even after speaking to several people at the store an even (MAMTA ) the team leader . Hence I asked to cancel the services, for which they happily agreed to, and I didn’t pay the bill since the charges were invalid


                                      And even my the bill is not corrected and I am getting collections calls and people visiting my residence, harassing me to pay the bill , which is incorrect

                                      I have again gone to store after a month from cancelling the number to check on the status of the issue and again I was advised it was done due to some error and will be done in another 48 hours , and its still not done
                                      Am still receiving collections calls and now they have even cancelled my other Vodafone number [protected] due this bill not being paid , and Vodafone store refuses to activate the other number ([protected] )unless this bill is paid ,

                                      I am a Blackberry user and I have free unlimited internet usage on my phone, inspite of that I was charged INR40 for Internet usage.

                                      I'm using 3 vodafone CUG connections and after lots of efforts these got activated. Initially I was suffering with service issue and that got resolved after 1 month followup. I've got alert of bill amount 2200/- While it should not be more than 1000 according to usage. I didn't receive bill and following up for the same since 13th May 2011. Now due date has come up within 2 days and still I'm waiting for bill.

                                      Since billing has made wrongly so how can I pay the amount without seeing bill. I have sent e-mails but no response. I have called Customer Support and every time they said that bill will be sent within 2 business days???? Is there any sense of customer service and commitment????

                                      I see "Rental_MI_VOL_100_30d_3G" service rental Rs 100 in my August 2011 month bill. I got three days rental in July bill. Immediately I called up customer care and told that I did not asked for this service. They took a complaint. I unfortunately I did not follow it up with them.

                                      Again my August month bill shows rental for 30 days. I am calling again and again but issue is not getting solved. I even sent a mail to corporate services. It is very bad on Vodafone side charging customers with rentals which services are not requested by them. After my this experience I feel like Vodafone is searching wrong paths to earn money. Please disable Rental_MI_VOL_100_30d_3G service on my account and also revert the charged rental.

                                      Even after telling them they still continued to charge me on regular basis.

                                      1. as monthly internet 2GB @ 99 rupees

                                      Vodafone — INCORRECT charges levied for INTERNET & SMS

                                      I received the soft copy of my latest bill (bill date = 18th jan’12) today through mail.
                                      Again this time you have charged incorrect charges on the following (details as below):
                                      • Internet usage
                                      • SMS
                                      First, Not I am and nor I was owning & using any IPHONE, fyi.
                                      Second, this is my company sim card wherein we are not supposed and allowed for Internet usage and because of that I had personally visited VODAFONE store at Fort and requested to stop my internet, long before my Billing Date i.e. 18th jan’12.
                                      I am not able to understand what & where is the problem?? This is not the first time you are charging the incorrect charges on my bill.

                                      I received a mobile phone bill on 25th January with a bill amount of Rs.13771.17.

                                      On analysis i found out that my internet usage is shown as 4387140 KB.
                                      I have an internet pack VMC_VL99_2GB. which gives me 2GB internet usage at Rs 99.
                                      further usage will be charged 10paise/10KB.

                                      My previouse months internet usage has been 1233440KB , and 370780KB. With my normal usage , my utilization can never exceed 2GB.

                                      I spoke to the customer care executives , MR Rajnikant - the retention manager at Mangalore and Mr Ganesh from the back office. They are just reiterating that the usage is captured correctly.

                                      There is definitely a mistake in this usage capture.

                                      There is one more issue.

                                      My credit limit is Rs.2000. per month. This means that once my usage excees Rs. 2000 , they stop my outgoing calls.

                                      My bill according to vodafone had long passed the amount of Rs.2000. My outgoing was never stopped.

                                      I have received credit linit messages duting this period.

                                      On 18th January 2012 , my unbilled amount was Rs.2246.

                                      My Billing cycle is 20th of one month to 19th of the next month.
                                      This means that there was some problem which occured during the bill day which led to this issue.

                                      I am a Vodafone cell phone user, and have been using their services for a few years. I was traveling in March 2012 for 2-3 days, and activated the daily roaming facility that one can request at Rs.149 or similar each day. I returned to India on March 30, 2012 and deactivated the international roaming immediately.

                                      Whilst roaming, the phone was used on only one of these days for voice - phone calls. My billing cycle is from the first day of each month until the last day, so March 1 - 31. I received a bill of approximately Rs.4100 in April for the month of March 1-31, 2012, which I paid. However, in June I received a bill for April 1-30 which contained international roaming charges. However, I had not traveled outside Mumbai in April 2012, forget internationally, and told Vodafone about it after receiving the invoice.

                                      When I asked for an itemized bill Vodafone immediately said there was no international roaming in April, but that it was in March 2012. I indicated I had already paid that bill, and international roaming was included. Then Vodafone's story changed and they said it was also for the month of March 2012 even through the bill said April 1-30. I asked for the itemized bill which they did not send. They sent the same abbreviated bill as they usually do, but sent an email saying they had sent an itemized bill.

                                      The Nodal Officer admits that there was no international roaming in April 2012, but says there was additional international roaming in March 2012, but refuses to provide details or a detailed bill of calls, if any.

                                      This is regarding the monthly bill received for the number [protected]. This is Postpaid connection of INR 375 per month.
                                      I got this postpaid corporate connection on 4th april. The day i got the connection i was commnunicated following plans about this -
                                      1) I will be getting 1 GB 3G data for free and if i use above 1G data, speed would be decrease to 2 GB and i wont be charged for usage.
                                      2) I will be getting 500 local/STD minutes per month for free.
                                      However in previous month i was provided incorrect bill of approx inr 590 that was adjusted by INR 300 in current month bill and still INR 50 needs to be adjusted in previous month bill (i.e.- 4th April - 18th April)
                                      And, for the period of 18th April-18th may- I received the bill of INR 1477.99 which is totaly unacceptable for me.
                                      I visited vodafone outlet and i was told that i was charged inr 650 for extra usage of data in the current month bill.
                                      However as per the plan, extra usage are free of cost.

                                      For your infomation i have not received any kind of communication from Vodafone for adding such cost in my current plan and without such information how i can be charged for extra money. can you explain?

                                      In last 45 days, i visited 4 times vodafone outlet, just because of the fault of vodafone billing department, and was not given a satisfactory solutions by the representatives. Which is unacceptable.
                                      Request you to waive off the amount of INR 700 in my current bill. Send me the updated bill of InR 868 instead of 1477.90.
                                      I will pay the same and continue with the vodafone, additionally i won't be submitting the whole balance this month and will never wait for the adjustment in next month bill.
                                      Trust me, this kind of services are getting my nerves and if it wont be resolved asap and continues, i would be switiching to other network without a doubt.
                                      Hope you would understand all this pain.
