[Resolved]  Vodafone Postpaid — Harrasment and threatning call by Vodafone

After six months of disconnection of Mobile No. [protected], i received a threating call from Delhi Police Commisioner on the 3rd December afternoon, that he has an arrest warrant in my name and will come to arrest me at 6pm. He gave me the
number of an Advocate J.R. Mishra [protected]. he asked me to call him and try to settle the matter or else he will get the cops in front of my home in the evening. i was petrified and terrified and fainted at the very first thought of it.
When my colleagues in office called the advocate, he asked to pay an amount of 2510/- immidiately and send across a mail with the bill receipt to address [protected]@vodafone.com
i requested for a dissconnection of my number on the 2nd of June as i got a job in Bangalore and had to move from Delhi. My account also showed a bill plan change which i never requested for. they made me pay 2510/- against an outstanding of 2380/-(i got to know this when i went at Vodafone and checked my account)
I am 21years old and a Low BP patient, who is staying alone in Bangalore without family for the first time in my entire life. the kind of threatening that they gave me could taken life out of me. I in the past six months never received any reminder of any outstanding bill . because i cleared all the payments before getting the number dissconneted(they dont dissconnet without clearing the dues!!!) . my current number is [protected], i request you to take some action, as i am still not over the whole senario. you can understand how it must have been for a person who has never even seen a police station apart from in movies.

Vodafone Postpaid Connection — New Connection Harrasment

I had given all documents for a Vodaphone Post paid Corporate Connection. The corporate is Barclays.
The documents was submitted a week back to the person who is Vodaphone representative for Barclays.
Still yet the connection is not activated. I have been following many people in Vodaphone but nobody is resolving it. Best is whenvever I call them they say that they will do it in half an hour, I am really waiting for that half hour when it will be activated. The people I have contaced are :

dear sir.,

i was threatened to pay my bills from ur vodafone store situated at ekkatuthangal.this is very serious.i want u to take action against this store .or i am going to give a complaint in customer consumer forum.so i yest canceled my number at adayar store.they also did not ask me the reason for canceling .they were also rude.i was not in town to pay my bills.i hv lost all my contacts.if i dont get an apology.ur customer care persons anita and mr sathya talked in a very local language.they further said that i can do wt ever i want.i was not in town and i could not pay my bills.any way u hav call barred.i hv been with u for 4 years.iam shocked by ur employees behaviour.almost all the customer care persons o[censored]rs talk in a very local language that is disgusting.hope u wd get back to me....this is very urgent......my bill amount was very small amount.....worst service...

Vodafone — customer harrasment

Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Subhrodipto Bhattacharjee, am using a connection of vodafone ([protected]) for approximately 10 years but never have faced such a problem. Last friday ie. 23/04/2010, vodafone have set a callertune in my connection with no consent from me.Moreover they are blaming me for the incident.They also have deducted an amount of Rs 30 from my balance unnecesarily and are now not willing to take the complaints even.I request for your kind interference.

Vodafone Postpaid — Service Barred & Missbehaviour

I am Avdesh Sharma i took the new vodafone postpaid sim and my mobile number is [protected] and i took this last month dated 15.04.2010 and without received any bill or related thing which can be prove that i used 1000/- they raise this much of amount and i had paid 700/- Rs apart from they stopped my mobile's outgoing service and when i called to customer care of Vodafone then CCE said that your service will be start with in two hours but i am unable to use till now and my service been barred from last 24hours to till now and last time i tried to talk with senior managment people then they said you are not authoriz person who can talk to them i really frusted because last two days to till now they give me rebatals instead of restart my out goig service its truly emabarresd to all the vodafone employees but they don't care of that and top of that they openaly chalange to consumer court and said that to me if you can restart your service through consumer court then you can and said then we will let see what consumer court do against on vodafone.
IT IS A TRULY VERY BAD EXPIRIENCE WITH VODAFONE AND VERY POOR SERVICE IF VODAFONE UNABLE TO ASSIST TO THE CUSTOMERS SO THEY HAS TO BE BACKI TO THEIR NATION BECAUSE THEY DON'T RECOGNIZE WITH INDIAN CULTURE, LAW AND ETHICS.
KINDLY LOOK IN TO IT SERIOUSLY AND REVERT BACK TO ME ASAP AND PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL AT YOUR RESPECTIVE END.

Vodafone — Billing menace

Will someone kindly enlighten me about the basis of the most prohibitively high rates charged by Vodafone, as compared to some other services? Who has allowed them this total liberty to fix their own rates at the cost of Indian public? What does TRAI do?

Will someone also be kind enough to advise as to how one can get a response from the TRAI and if public is debarred from sending grievances and suggestions to this office.
my postpaid number has not yet started from last 3 weeks inspite of submitting all documents and paying the deposit amount.
Well well...the same case happened with me too today.

I defaulted their bill for around 5-6 months as I changed my job and came down to bangalore and then abroad for 3 months.

I got a call from Delhi no. [protected] by the name of some Rajveer Chodhary. He said he had warrant against my name for some fraud done in Delhi. He already had my previous employer name and address and my permanent residence address along with my current details...like where I am working and in which compnay. Most interestingly how the hell he got my no. as I recently changed my no. to reliance and didn't give that no. to anyone.

Anyways he gave me some Sanjay Jain's no. in delhi who is an advocate and told to call him and get details.The no. for Sanjay Jain is [protected].

I called that guy up and he said that Vodafone has lodged a case against me for non payment of bill amounting to 3940/- and if I really do not want to be dragged in court and all then I should immediately pay up the bill so that he can withdraw the case out of court.

I was unanswerable as it was my mistake to have not paid the bill but I told him that I was abroad from 3-4 months so I could not setlle the bills. Anyways I paid the outstanding amount and sent him the printscreen of the receipt to adv.[protected]@gmail.com

What is bugging me is that howcome they came to know my new no. which I have recently changed and they had all my details like father's name, address, name and address of previous employer and current employer as well...

After that I called that police station from some other number just to check whether it was an actual police stn or not. Everytime he receives and says "Delhi Police"...

So guys any idea as to whats going on.

Vodafone — Unwanted Threatening

Hi Everyone

I have been using Vodafone connection for 7 months paying them regularly. But these guys keep me annoying everytime. People claiming to be with Vodafone came to my place 4times for verification, 1st month, 3rd month, 4th month and sixth month. My calls were keeping on disconnected and I lost all my free minutes and I was never compensated. I get funny advertyisement mails in response to my complaint mails. They send me other plans and tariffs. I asked them to disconnect the connection before 11th of Feb, which they did not do. Now they send people to my home and torture my family members and ladies in my home. Its a terrible offense to threat ladies and people in my home in my absence. We are to book a nusense case against Vodafone. My last payment was a cheque for Rs. 184.00 which I sent through Business Envelope. They missed it somewhere. They are not providing me with the status of the same. Now they send me legal notices in email. I care a damnn as I am going to file a nusense case against them for sending indecent men to abuse and misbehave with my family members.

Vodafone — present wrong postpaid first bill

sir , i get new connection of vodafone post paid no [protected] on 13 april connection was activate on 17 april and after 15 days i got message that my usage are exceed the credit limit of RS 4000.00 then suddenly i complaint to customer care but they are not ready to resolve my problem they have informed me that they are unable to tell any deatail because my billing cycle is 5th of every month.but finally i got my fist bill of RS5998.00 which include my internet usage of 4998 is there any plan in vodafone in which customer is preactivate with this type of service However the facts are that i have nevre make any requset to activate internet service .kindly resolve my problem as soon as possible.

Vodafone — company not give me a call detail..

Vodafone — When I am using the prepaid , I have received postpaid bill

I have requested one of the Vodafone representative to migrate my prepaid numbers [protected] and [protected] to post paid '149 SEP plans'. The representative told me it would take 48 hours to activate then I said ok.

The numbers were not activated even after 15 days and I have again requested representative not to migrate as I faced signal problems in our newly constructed building. Then the representative has confirmed me that he has raised a request to not to migrate the connection and he told me that the request is completed and you would not get postpaid.

After a month , I got a call from vodafone on my Prepaid SIM( I was continuing my prepaid). The person who has called me told that " your bill is generated please pay before the due date". Then I have informed the person that "my request for migration is cancelled , I am using my prepaid so I will not get bill please confirm it from your end". Then he said that he would look into that.

On the same day after 2 hours from the time I got call, my prepaid got de-activated.

When I approached vodafone representative,vodafone store(Gachibowli) they told that once the number is migrated to post paid It cannot be migrated to prepaid.

Does this mean, vodafone is making customers fools ?
When other providers are giving the option of migrating from post to prepaid, why vodafone cannot do that.

The only logic is, vodafone wants to collect money from people whether customers like their services or not.

Only because of this , many customers are facing issues. Apart from 'signal' weakness, they are serving these additional issues to the customers.

I request vodafone being such a prestigious company which is serving more than 25 countries is not supposed to cheat their customers.If you cheat the customers they would obviously opt for your competitors.
