[Resolved]  Western Digital Rma — wdc hard disk has given for replacement and i did not get it back


respected sir,
i send my hard disk for replacement and did not get it back.this email i got from western digital on 17 th march 2011 . today its 13th august and i have not received my hard disk yet neither received any updates regarding my hard disk.this was the first and last email i received from Western Digital.

Western Digital — Replacement product not given back

I had bought a Western digital 1 TB hard drive which stopped working all of a sudden. I knew that I had a 3 year warranty on the product and using the replacement procedure followed by western digital sent the drive through the agency RT outsourcing that was sent by Western digital themselves. The drive left my hands on 24th june 2010. I've called them at least 50 times after that just to hear them show me empathy and promising me that the drive would reach my hands the following week. I'm now horribly frustrated since I dont have the Rs.6000/- worth drive when I need it the most. I want the drive back as soon as possible.
I completely agree with u.WD people are so careless.Even my hard drive is with them from last 1.5 month.I m tried of recalling it, now i m going to sue a case against them.
i m really facing problem without my hard disk.its going to be 5 months now.its such a reputed company and i never expected this from them.
issue solved.

Wd my book is not working properly

power cable problem of my hard drive. Unable to use every 5 minute its restarted. plz help

hdd not detected

Western Digital External Hard Drivers USB 3.0 are not detected in the USB 3.0 ports from Alienware Computers. Device is properly detected under USB 2.0 ports.
