    Subject Extremly rubbish and worst customer care by whirlpool
    Sir,
    Through this mail I would like to draw your kind concern regarding poorest of poor quality as well as customer care in India.
    1. That I bought whirlpool refrigerator 10846 310L MAXIGERATOR NEW STEEL 3S
    from KAPILA ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. B-1/6, COMMUNITY CENTER B-1, BLOCK, JANAK PURI on 26th June 2008 vide their invoice no. 2651 for Rs. 13600/-. In my mothers name Mrs. Thakur.
    2. That no engineer came for said demonstration on the time requested by us neither did any OK installation report was given.
    3. That soon after I had to go for my emergency knee surgery and couldn’t really looked after performance of said item.My mother is aged so she couldn’t see that fault as described ahead.
    4.That when I returned after my surgery on 4th night I noticed that refrigerator is totally faulty in sense of cooling and door could not be closed totally leading to leaking.
    5.That I contacted my dealer on 5th July telling them complaint and asking why engineer/company personnel didn’t come for demo/installation report.
    6.That engineer came noted complaint but refused to comment on cooling status of the item.
    7. That you can understand the utility of refrigerator in such heated environment in India particularly north and such callous reply by engineer was totally frustrating and disturbing keeping in mind the multinational company whirlpool.
    8.However, soon after they did replace refrigerator which was dropped at my place by a laborer and no authorized personnel did come to check this replaced item or not.
    9. Again to my surprise this replaced refrigerator has more problems then previous naming again faulty door closing, secondly noisy, thirdly lower half body was too much heated up and water droplets were dropping in all over items placed in fridge.
    10. That as there is no option for attachments in the contact online else I could have sent you the pictures of faulty door closing and water droplets hanging all over inside refrigerator.
    11.That I feel that this Fusion model of whirlpool has some manufacturing defect in toto so whole pieces should be withdrawn from Indian market and I may be given an option to go for another model on same rate or option to change company and my total money may be refunded immediately with interest.
    12.That this complaint needs immediate attention so that I can have cool summers as even one day delay will cause mental and physical problem concerning my family.
    13. That I am afraid that lower half heating of body is so much that I fear of any fire disaster in my home for which whirlpool would be exclusively responsible should any consumer or criminal section as may apply in case of mishappening as decided by law authorities.
    14. That please look into matter personally so that I may be freed of mental and physical torture immediately.

    16. That I may be kindly provided with correspondence address of highest of controlling authority in India and chief of headquarters which I believe is USA.

    Dear Sir,

    Through this mail, I would like to draw your attention reg. poorest service of whirlpool customer care.

    1) I have bought 450 litre - F46 Elite Professional Whirlpool refrigerator from Kohli Bros. 13-A, Prehlad Market, D.B.Gupta Road, Karol Bagh, N-Delhi-110005 on 06/02/08.

    2) Actually we have installed the refrigerator and the demo person came and gave the demo and at that time the season is also cold, so we were not aware of the problem.

    3 Actually there is freezing problem, the freezer always make the ice in the normal mode also. We are facing the same problem from last 3 months.

    4) We have also filed a complaint against this problem on 8th October'08 and the engineer came, checked the problem and confirm that this was a manufacturing defect so to came out from this problem, they have to change the freezer door.

    5) Till now after regular complaints and follow-up, we are facing the same problem, the customer care executives giving us dates and only dates using the same words that we don’t have the freezer door in stock and we’ll replace the door after 7-10 days. Always hearing the same words almost 3 months have gone but the door didn’t changed.

    Pls look into this matter vigorously as we are totally fed-up and planning not to purchase any other product of whirlpool due to the above said problem.

    Your consideration in this matter will be highly appreciated.

    I have purchased whirlpool refrigerator 165litres Model no.[protected] on 12.10.1998 from KULKARNI & CO. 21/22 Gosaliya Park, Boisar 401501.
    It got problem with thermostat on 10.12.2008 & I got replaced it from AMAN SERVICES, Boisar.They charged Rs.570 with 6 months guaranty.
    Again the thermosta got problem in March, 2009(within 6 months of replacement).I called AMAN SERVICES, Boisar.They came to check and assured me to replace next day.
    But they are not replacing it & not answering my phone.What shall I do?I am also using whirlpool wasing machine.

    I have purchased one whirpool refrigerator model no;310 dlx professional titanium from shah's mount road chennai on date 11.02.09 and following is my story,

    1. complaint no; 31549 dt 23.03.09 for less cooling and water logging in the vegetable tray.
    2. The same was replaced with a new machine towards more than 50 calls and finally pressure from the dealer on 09.04.09.
    3. Again problem arise from the new machine with ice hugely forming in the upper portion and no coolling at the bottom level, complaint given again no: 35605 dt. 24.04.09.
    4. Machine attended by local technician and state that on first visit that compressor is with less gas and has to be filled. And one day ie on dt 27.04.09 i get a call from there pune service station From one mr Anil Ph no:[protected] and states that he will send his senior technician and he visit on 29.04.09 and states that the timer is faulty and will be serviced or change.
    5. As on date the machine has not been attented or a call has not come from there end, As iam been trying there phone numbers pune switch off since 30.04.09 till 02.05.09 3pm.

    Since i want to know is this the customers are neglected by whirpool. And watching the mails from other customers are shocking to me too.

    I own a Whirlpool 340 Elite model fridge. INA 0743548. 4355/21Nov 07 in the name of Wilma kalavathy. Bill No: 36104 bought in Vasanth and Co in Erode.

    As we are a Whirlpool Customer, to be frank, We are much worried of your product and the customer service. We have called your customer cell and informed to service centres too. NO USE ! From the beginning there's a fault on the Whirlpool fridge and your engineer says that It'll be okay while start using of it, so we believed but now its not working at all. Need to take immediate action.
    Help us to solve the issue properly.

    Dear Sir,
    I have purchased 310 ltr. double door refrigerator on dated 27.05.08 from Noida. After some months its cooling was not proper that's why i looged a complaint after calling to customer care on dated 31.05.08 and its fault ok after changed the location of the fridge. Again problem observerd on 28.06.08 and it was corrected by changing the stablizer and also changed the compressor. But again same problem observed on dated 18.08.08 and it was corrected by filling the gas. But due to winter fridge works properly and in summer again same problem occured. I think problem was not rectified properly so i again looged a complaint to customer care and service engineer came on dated 14.05.09 and he told me that its cooling coils are faulty and it will be changed and it will take 2 to 3 days and fridge will be repaired its service center.

    Please tell me what can i do best for this situation either fridge will repaired but how long its work their is no gaurantee. Second option to replace the fridge. Third option shall i go to consumer court to take compensation of this problem due to which i have suffered a lot.

    Please suggest and give me best direction.

    I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator about three years ago, from a dealer in Lucknow. I was quite pleased with its performance initially only to realise I had gone in for a wrong one. In a matter of months, the fridge started giving me trouble, water was leaking, in the lower portion, and then it was rectified only to find myself facing the same problem again and again and again after paying Rs.381/- for each repair over and over and over again. Now, the fridge is not only throwing water near the crisper but also ceased to cool suficiently, as a result food is getting spoiled. I think one should think twice before going in for this fridge.

    My father bought a whirlpoooool Washing machine and also he has extended the warranty on a guise that the customer service would be good. But I don’t know what the customer service is doing by receiving complaint. 30 days and more had gone since I lodge my complaint but till now I am spending Rs. 50 for my mobile to call them but they respond that they are behind me and ask me to see my back to see the service man, but I see only the walls of my home. The administration of customer care telling that the engineer would come but those persons must have many criminal case of worst. They react like wise. They don’t know how to speak with the customer. They are not keeping their words.


    For instance one customer service person who had been allotted to rectify my complaint told his name as Kishore, krishna, balaji, sukumar, but till now I don’t know his real name his number is [protected].
    Suppose I think to go legally to consumer court, they would simply order for the rectification of mistake and the award would be very meager amount for my suffering. Because unfortunately I am a criminal advocate and I know very well. If I sort for any press help I don’t know weather they would help me or not.
    What is the solution?

    I purchased 410 Ltr. Double Door Fridge From M/s Liberty Associate, Town hall link road, Udaipur (Raj.) in October-09.
    The poor dealer unable to provide one missing wreck and ice tray as he promised to procure within one week. Since Four month the Freezer section is loaded with frost in the refrigerator. I complained to dealer, local Service Engineer at udaipur ...every time they promise to repair within a couple of days but situation is ...hopeless.
    I would like to tell all viewers not and never opt for Whirlpool products (A Big Fraud), my only purpose to save as many as people to suffer the service trauma.

    I have Lodged my complaint for non cooling of my refrigerator purchased in 2003( 7yr warranty ) one of your engineer came for inspection and advised to change compressor and freezor as well after few days on phone they told us that freezor is out of stock and it will take time so we request them to change compressor only which is under warranty and free of cost and they agreed.All this process takes one month then again one of your man came demanded Rs-850 to change compressor we told him that this is under warranty and your good office allready agreed but it does not work.Just tell me one thing what to do with your product becouse i allready had SAMSUNG refrigerator.

    Through this mail, I would like to bring to your attention the pathetic service of Whirlpool Organisation.

    The list of problems in my refrigerator are :

    1. Gap in the Door.
    2. Moisture formation below the Door.
    3. Crackling noise, when the door of the Freezer is open.
    4. Faulty switch inside refrigerator due to which light does not switch off when the door is close.

    I have purchased Whirlpool 250 Litre refrigerator on 21/04/2009 from “NEXT”Ghodbunder Road showroom. The bill number is 09889.

    After 1 month from the purchase, one day I noticed that even when the door of refrigerator is close, light is coming out of the refrigerator. This is because there is a huge gap between the refrigerator and the gasket which is stick on the door of refrigerator. Also, when the door of the freezer is open, it is making very ugly noise. Eventually, I lodged a complaint with the showroom. My Complaint No. is MB[protected].

    Then a technician from “Quick Services” (Whirlpool Service Provider) attained my complaint. But instead of solving the problem, he was more interested in selling Voltage Stabiliser. To be able to switch off the light when the door is close, he protruded the button, which switches off the light. This looks very Shabby inside the refrigerator. In the end, he could not solve the problem and said a senior person would attain the problem.

    The same story repeated four times later on. People use to come & go, but nobody was able to understand my problem.

    Then the case was forwarded to Whirlpool Technicians. Mr. Sampat Bhujbal (Quality Department) (Cell No. [protected]) fixed up an appointment with myself and promise to send technician Mr. Ashok Thite (Technician) (Cell No. [protected]) in 2 days time. But Mr. Ashok showed his face after 20 days.

    On 10/08/2009 Mr. Ashok came at my home and immediately accept the problems and said it had happened due to improper handling during transportation. He also admitted that the remedy for this problems is only replacement of refrigerator.

    The next day, i.e., on 11/08/2009 Mr. Anirudh Gole (Manager - Quality Department) called me and said they will replace the spares for proper functioning and not replace the entire refrigerator because Whirlpool has given the "Warranty" & not the "Guarantee" for the refrigerator.

    I cannot accept such a list of problems in a 2 months refrigerator, nor will anybody. Hence, I am rigid on replacement of refrigerator.

    Hence it is my requests to you is please look into the matter with your personal touch and help me in getting my refrigerator replaced. I would also not mind filing a complaint of cheating against Whirlpool in Consumer Court.

    I have similar experience with both product and services. It is horrible.
    Response is too slow. It is almost a week before they finally set the fridge right. Also, the faults are major. Thank god I had gone in for 48 months extended warranty. First time it was the thermostat and some electrical part and now it is the compressor itself. The warranty is upto Dec 2010 i.e. another year. I would have shelled out a cool Rs.5000+ had it not been for the AMC. Will Whirlpool replace my fridge which was purchased by me in Jan 2006? After another year I dont think I can afford any type of costly repairs/parts replacements.

    Refrigerator 450 Professional — water leakage

    The Refrigerator was purchased on 22.9.08 .For the last 8 months we are facing the problem of water leakage from the base of deep freeezer.     I want to tell you about my problem. I bought my fridge [260 litres] on 25 may 2007.Within 2 years I got to repair it 5 or 6 times. First time I complained the agency of Sultanpur, two engineers came and told us that the compressor is not working and they changed it. After few months the fridge stopped working again. I complained about this problem in the agency, they came again and told us about the problem of gas leakage .After two days they came and filled it. I faced this gas choking problem three times. My problems continued. Then they told us that freezer and compressor were failed.On 14th September I complained about it in the Whirlpool Service Centre, Delhi.My complaint number is
    L.K.09003565.I complained to Delhi Centre many times. But no response was given to me and no action was taken on my problem.I am fed up with all this.

    Hello, I've purchased a new refrigerator from one of your dealer named George Enterprises, Porur, Chennai with Inv# 3375 on 11th Oct'09. When I started to use the refrigerator on the same day, I found a dent in the door and i called the dealer and informed abt the same. They switch the call to whirlpool cust care chennai and i spoke to one of your engineer. In the call he said that he will replace the refrigirator after sumbitting the inv copy. i've sumbitted the inv copy twice in a week and still i have not heard any response from your cust care. please arrange the replacement asap or refund the money. Otherwise we will have to take action through legal.

    I totally agree with what others who have commented/complained about the Whirlpool. Ten days back I have booked for 260 Litre Whirlpool Refrigerator in the Whirlpool's Office in Ramapuram Chennai and I have paid the refregirator cost by cheque on the day of booking. Till date, refregirator has not been delivered to me and I have made over a dozen calls to the person who took booking. Whenever i make call, he gives some nonsense reply or he says he will call me within 10 minutes and he will never call me back. My money is blocked and I am planning to take up the matter with consumer protection forum. My advice is that please do not go for whirlpool product.

    recently we purchased a 180L refrigerator from your consulting Person from Miltry Canteen on the date of October 16th 2009.

    when we got this product the person asked us to call the customer care number for installtion and Demo of the product. the number is 60008558 and MTNL number [protected] which always Busy or dead. almost it is Dead because i called n number of times it is keep on saying that all executives are busy they will pick your call shortly. but frankly saying no such executive are there on this number or if the people are there then definately they are sleeping, cause even aftet holding the line for 43 min the same sentence is repeating. even i send a SMS to that specified number 58558 and i received a replay for that SMS saying "Thanks 4 registering with whirlpool home care. we will call u back shortly on 21st Oct".

    Belive me even today also i am expecting the call from customer care.

    Now, i want know what is going on , please answer my questions,
    1. Customer Care is existing or not
    2. being a number 1 company for refrigerator manufacturing why this much customer neglegence.
    3. what should i do if i get some problems in your product, whther i need to go Consumer Court or through this product Out.

    I have purchased a Microwave oven on 27/12/09 Model-25C-Convection. When the service engineer came for demo it was found that the machine is not at all working and finally he has accepted the machine is not working and will be replaced with new one.
    But even after 20 days Whirlpool has not bothered to replace it with new one. We are calling them daily but the response was shocking and it is prooved beyond doubt that Whirlppol india is totally not bothered about thier customer service and i would suggest the readers not to go for the company's product
    Sir, We are using whirlpool refrigerator 6 th sense for the past 5 years. We have the problem for the past 1 yr. At the top of the model, one indicator is present.
    If it is in red, defrost mode. Otherwise, normal mode. but now the indicator is blinking with red color. we don't know the exact problem. I used to defrost the ice using the manual button which is present at the top of the refrigerator.so can u pls identify the problem and mail us. we don't know that how to rectify the problem. whether we have to call the service person or not. pls identify the problem.

    Concern is regarding poorest of poor quality as well as customer care in India against complaint no. Dl[protected].

    We have been complaining regarding our Whirlpool Premier refrigerator , model "Genius" whose door has been broken for the past 2months & only false promises are being made everytime we call customer care.

    The complaint was lodged on 16th of Feb' 2010 & we were assured someone would come & check for the problem. We were told that the door needs to be replaced & the same will be done in a weeks time.

    Even after 2 weeks no one came & after repeated calls made to customer care, a techinician comes with door of a different model. The guy promises to get the correct door & get it fixed. Again he is invisible for 2 weeks. Calls are again made & we are made to understand that the door is not available in the stock so the delay happened. They promise to get it replaced the following week.

    As always no technician or no calls were made atleast to keep us informed actually when can we get the door fixed. Till date we are awaiting for the resolution of the issue.

    In the meanwhile our refrigerator is getting affected as the door is not working so the pressure on the compressor is increasing.The food is getting rotten due to improper cooling & maybe tommorrow the refrigerator might just stop working due to the delay & the laziness shown in the solution of the problem. And that I am afraid that lower half heating of body is so much that I fear of any fire disaster in my home for which whirlpool would be exclusively responsible should any consumer or criminal section as may apply in case of mishappening as decided by law authorities.

    My question is who is going to take responsibility if the refrigerator collapses tommorrow as a whole or any disaster takes place in my family due to the laid back attititude of your company. This complaint needs immediate attention so that I can have cool summers as even one day delay will cause mental and physical problem concerning my family..
    We had problem with our 2 door refrigerator in Oct. 09. After suffering for a week, the problem was rectified by replacing the compressor. Again on[protected], we faced a similar problem and lodged a complaint on[protected] vide no.11416.

    A technician attended the complaint at 5PM on 19th and reported that the capillary tube is blocked and needs replacement along with the refilling of gas and informed us that it will be chargeable. On 20th at 3PM he came and replaced the capillary tube and filled gas and said now it will work OK. But on checking we felt that the side panel was getting heated and informed him. He replied that it will take 2 hours and then it will fully cool. We paid under protest Rs.1850=00 demanded by the technician against a bill no.10328 of M/s. Seetal Electronics, Hyderabad.

    But, to our shock and dismay we have observed that even by 10 PM the fridge is not getting cool and ice is also not forming.

    Since, we have doubts about the competency of technician, we request the higher management to look into the matter immediately and depute a trained engineer to rectify our problem immediately. Already food material worth thousands is spoiled and we have suffered enough loss and inconvenience.

    I purchased a whirlpool double door fridge with 310 L capacity in Nov 2008.
    I am sorry to tell you that the quality of your product is not at all satisfactory.
    It has only completed its 17 months and has started causing problems past one month.
    I lodge a complaint on 25 th May 10 and it is the harassment caused by your customer care
    that the appliance is still not repaired. Your executive visited on 26 May, said that there
    is a gas leakage, refilled the gas on 28 and charged INR 1310.
    But there was no improvement in the fridge condition.
    I re-lodged the complaint on 28, 29, 31 May but to add to the harassment they are
    delaying their revisit and give silly excuses.
    Sorry for the quality and service you people provide.
    Also, I don't expect that after refilling of gas your appliance will last longer.
    I will personally suggest everyone to not to go for Whirlpool appliance because
    of their poor quality and frustrating service.

    Sir, We are using whirlpool refrigerator 6 th sense for the past 2 & half years. We have the problem low chillness and water is coming out of the tray and overflowing to the floor. We have raised a compliant on 26.09.2010 compliant number : 54769 for the above mentioned fault. Mr. Kannan Engineer attended the fault and he told that the front panel switch board should be changed. We lodged another compliant on 29.09.2010, number : 584. Mr. S.Chandrasekar Engineer attended the fault and he told that the Compressor should be changed. We lodged another compliant on 09.11.2010, 15.11.2010 number 314, 39321. The Compressor was replaced by Mr. Kirubakaran on 22.11.2010 via Bill No.312 dated 22.11.2010 for Rs.1, 800/-. The above mentioned fault was not solved after replacing the compressor. Not satisfying with the Service we again made a compliant on 24.11.2010 number :62656. Till date the fault was not rectified. I made a phone call today to Mr. Kumar, Incharge stating that the fault was not rectified after so many engineeers have seen the refrigerator. We are very dissatsified with the Services of the Whirl pool being one of the multi national company. We are unable to go out for our personal work and daily routine is affected.
    We request your goodself to look into the matter seriously and solve my refrigerator fault.

    Details of refrigerator : Whrilpool Professional 6th Sense purchased on July 2008 =-- 340 litres
    I purchased a Whirlpool Fridge Model WVR420 and a Whirlpool Freezer Model WVF307 in Sept 2009 from A&A Furnishers in Cape Town, South Africa. A few months later, condensation started accummulating on the back panel of the fridge resulting in water damage to all the foodstuff in the fridge. I complained in Mar 2010 and the technician told me that the condensation is "normal" and part of the fridge's design. I told him that this was unacceptable as I have had KIC products in the past which lasted more than 20 years without any complaints. The only reason I sold my KIC fridge and freezer was because I renovated my kitchen. Here I thought Whirlpool was a good product and a household name but the products are of inferior quality but costs so much more! I find it totally unacceptable that I have be saddled with a product that I paid good money for, but every week I have to discard foodstuff that goes soggy due to the amount of condensation accummulating. The technician tells me the fridge and freezer have computer boards and that is the way it is programmed. Well, this is a lot of bull!!! I want Whirlpool to fetch their crap products and refund my money which I work very hard for. I am not rich and cannot afford the luxury of just going to buy other better products. Right now I feel like taking a chopper and chopping these products to pieces - that's what it is worth to me! The Freezer is suppose to be "no frost" yet icicles form from dripping water from a vent. This occurred in the last few months. Again I am told that I have to "re-set" the computer board by turning the dial to 0 and then turning it on again! Why must I settle for the inconvenience and expense caused by inferior Whirlpool products. I hope their Director or GM reads my email and contacts me to take back their crap.
    I purchased Whirlpool White Magic 1-2-3 650p from PV Shetty Godown Complex, Bangalore 98 on 29/07/2009 vide Document No.[protected]. Model No.11577 and Serial No.[protected]. The machine has
    since been shifted to Mumbai along with me. The washing machine has developed some problem recently;it is producing a lot of sound(voice) while washing and spinning. The sound is similar to a locomotive running at a high speed; so deafening and irritating. I had complained to your Service Centre at[protected] and a Service Engineer called on us during January, 2011 and inspected the machine and informed me that the sound was normal in old machine. How can he say it is old machine, it is only
    1 year and 8 months old and cannot be treated as old machine. Moreover, your warranty period is 2 years and and it is your duty to thoroughly check up and service it to the satisfaction of the customer. Simply, telling some excuses is not a good business practice. If it breaks down immediately after the warranty period which is just four months away, I will have to shell out the service charges etc. by force.This is like penalising the customer even after pointing out the problem to you in advance. I would therefore urge upon you to have the machine thoroughly check up and certify that there is no defect in the machine.

    Failing to get response within a fortnight will compel me to approach the Consumer Redressal Forrum
    for remedy. Hope you will attend to this problem on priority.

    I've Purchased 1 ton Aviator A/C a year before, there was a scheme of Reebok Shoe Free with that A/C, I am still waiting for that shoes

    I totally agree with this complaint. I am also a TOTALLY DISATISFIED CUSTOMER of whirlpool. I regret the day I owned these products. I paid through my nose for a 2 year AMC but, these blokes did not show their faces for a single service. They had the audacity to remind me for the renewal of AMC.

    I possess 3 whirlpool products - washing machine with AMC that has given enough trouble during the AMC period that was rectified on a continous basis !!! A refridgerator that was never attended to inspite of giving service dates (later they tell me that they will serve on call - but, promised to do so but, never did !!!). I also have the whirlpool inverter which I don't want to talk about.

    Yesterday they had a free service camp for whirlpool products in the RBI STAFF QUARTERS on P.H. ROAD, in CHENNAI. I contacted these blokes who took down my address and said they would come over in a few minutes. BELIEVE ME - I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEM !!!

    Experience is the best teacher and I have learnt from my mistakes.
    I AND MY DECENDENTS WILL NEVER EVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT IN MY/OUR LIFE, AND I WOULD EVEN CONTINUE MY CAMPAIGN TO DISCOURAGE PROSPECTIVE whirlpool CUSTOMERS.

    I bought Whirlpool Fridge Fusion 180Lts in March 2010. On 20/03/2011 the fridge went not working. I made a complaint with its CC. They sent technician after 2 days. The technician inspected and changes few parts charged me Rs3075. I too paid it. Fridge worked for sometime and went not working after 5 hours. The technician came and adjusted something and the fridge worked for only 5 hours. The next morning I contacted the CC, the technician came and found every part is burnt and only the box is okay. After 9 days, on 06/04/2011 Whirlpool replaced it with another said to be a brand new. I believe it is not a brand new, but a crap. The fridge is not working in auto defrost mode. I suffered a lot with the whirlpool guys and still suffering. I do not know when the suffering is going to end. The whirlpool guys are not honest, bluffing, not sincere to their duty and cheating. I am not finding a reasonable person in whirlpool who will solve my problem. It will be helpful if someone who has faced like me and overcome such problems advise me.

    I am surprised at the careless behavior of Whirlpool company. While selling a product, the promises they make are amazing. However, when it comes to fulfilling them ...KAPUT!!! You are in a sorry state of affairs. I have called innumerable times for a servicing of my 1.5 ton Split Whirlpool AC which has fallen on deaf ears. I wanted to purchase another one because the AC is good but looking at the state of the after sales service provided, I have changed my mind.

      I had purchased a Whirlpool Ice Magic Elite Steel (consumer ID 19707499/2002) refrigerator on the 3- Mar-06 in Secunderabad. Whirlpool sent a person to demo the fridge and he convinced us to purchase an AMC from them for an amount of Rs. 2290. Since then until today i have not had anyone even call up to come for a service today. Above all in spite of making several complaints to their customer service in Hyderabad, NO ONE has even bothered to call up and schedule an appointment to service the refrigerator. Last Thursday I called them up again to lodge a compliant for service as there is water leaking from the freezer in the refrigerator. The customer care officer took the compliant and even checked up that my refrigerator comes under an AMC. She promised that someone would attend to my refrigerator today (Saturday). But it is 4:30 PM now and no one has even called me up from Whirlpool! I think Whirlpool has the worst customer service and they have just cheated us by taking the amount for an AMC. I urge others not to buy Whirlpool appliances as they cheat customers like me by collecting the AMC amount and never get back! I have no idea what I should do now? Whats the use of calling up such a customer care, speaking to whom is like speaking to a wall that doesn't hear you. I don;t know how anyone can make Whirlpool address my compliant as I am tired of complaining to them. I have a very busy life and no time to get stressed about such issues. I hope that writing in here will take this complaint a step further and some strict action is taken on Whirlpool. Thanks.

      I agree 100%. People at large should be made to aware to shift their focus on other brands instead of whirlpool. Better buy orther brands and be at ease rather than going in for Whirlpool and suffer for ever.
      I suffer after buying a washing machine.

      With due respect I have purchased a washing machine model no.9906 INB[protected] which has continous drainage problem since fifteen days.Your engineer visited last week but after complaining several times, gave us the maintainance but the problem has started again. Last saturday on 20 DEC 2008 I again made the complaint in this regard but till today no action has been taken.I have been calling at your consumer care centre twice daily.The consumer Id. is GB/C/0707/25272 and the complaint nos. are GB/[protected] and GB/[protected]. Your executives Suman, Parul, Dipak Singh and Nitin said that they have forwarded the complaint to the engineer and he will be arriving there but none of your engineers has reached us.Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible. An early and relevant action will be highly appreciated.

        I purchased a whirlpool automatic splash magic 0n 7th july 2006 and started using it from june 2007.From the day I started using it the machine kept on giving some or the other trouble.I have made complaint in the service centre for approximately 7 or 8 times and the engineer attended the problem but after few days the machine kept on bothering me.I requested the service centre to get completely rid of my problem but nothing happened.I have been using various whirlpool products like AC, refrigerator etc for last 8 years but never i came across such problems.This is the first time that I am fed uyp of whirlpool product.I would the request the authorities to get my product replaced or else I have to go to the consumer forum.

          compressor replacement under warranty period

          Refer our complaint No.HD-[protected] dt 21.06.2008 and my
          e-mail complaint dt 28.06.2008 wherein I have complained about non functioning of my referred model refrigerator. Till now it is not rectified or changed with new compressor for its normal functioning. I am put to lot of loss and problem due to this non functioning of my fridge. Hence, I request you to change the compressor with new one and rectify the problem for its normal...

          I lodged a complaint No. 14155 with Whirlpool service center for repair of my Fridge on Saturday the 21st June.

          An Engineer visited us the same day and after the inspection by the Engineer I was told that freezer( complete cooling coil ) need to be replaced. Accordingly this engineer put me through his supervisor and informed that a total of Rs. 2250 /- is to be paid inclusive of all.

          I agreed for this and accordingly the engineer promised me to replace the same on yesterday 23rd June. Till late evening I waited and then called up cust care. I was once again told by cust care executive that engineer will visit on 23rd June.But it was not to be.

          I checked up again on 24th June, I was told Engineer will visit by 1 PM on 25th June.

          Even today no body has turned up. When I called up customer care, now I have been informed that this will take another 4-5 days to get this sorted out.

          I fail to understand why I am being taken for granted in this case.

          This is absolutely ridiculous, had I been told that this will take 10 days or may be more to get this complaint addressed, I would have decided otherwise. Either to buy a new fridge or may be repair by a local mechanic.

          We are finding it extremely difficult to live without fridge at home even for a single day.

          And the height of inefficiency is that no body bothers to inform about delays, I get to know only when I call up customer care.

          HATS OFF THE WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE.

          The worst part is I have been given 2 mail id <[protected]@whirlpool.com> and <[protected]@email.whirlpool.com>.
          Email from both these ids are bouncing back.

          I have no way to reach to customer care otherwise.

          Please advise what should I do??

            I have purchased Whirlpool Mastermind Refrigerator from Big Bazar, Coimbator on 27 May 2008. I booked silver colour, instead they delivered green which I don't like. When I complained they delivered silver but damaged one (seems they brought from display), when I was not satisfied they said there is no silver colour anymore in their stock. Even their technicians took almost 4 days to give demonstration. Eventhough I am not happy at all, I am obliged to accept as there is no choice. I don't know whether they still can replace the one with silver colour, as I have the right. Please anyone who know the whirlpool link where I can lodge this complaint please forward.

              I had bought Whirlpool refrigerator model no. 250-S, serial no. INA[protected] from Malieakal Agencies, Kaduthururthy, Kottayam, Kerala on 25th Nov 2004.
              The freezer door had dented inside at two locations, not due to mishandling but looks like it had been sucked inside due to temperature or pressure drop inside freezer, and is a manufacturing defect.
              I had brought this problem to the attention of Customer Care at Thalayolaparampu, Kerala. The refrigerator is now with Customer Care to fix cooling problem, the job no. is JJ324.
              Can you advise your Customer Care to look into and do what is necessary to rectify it.

              Insufficient cooling.

              I bought Whirlpool Elite Fridge Serial # INA[protected] on Nov.19, 2006, from Vivek & co., T.Nagar, Chennai.
              The freezer section is cooling well.

              The refrigerator section is not cooling properly. Milk and other food materials are getting spoiled very quickly, even though I have kept the thermostat at "high" position.

              I called Whirlpoolon 05/06/2008. Next day a technician inspected the fridge and said nothing is wrong.
              For this I had to pay an inspection charge of Rs.340.00.

              A few days ago I posted a complaint in the Whirpool site. I had asked what is the working temperature to be obtained inside the refrigerator section under various ambient conditions.I requested a reply.
              To date there has been no response.

              Please ask Customer Care to remedy the problem.

                    Whirlpool India Washing Machine 6th Sense — Poor Service

                    Dear,



                    On Sep 21, water from our washing machine was leaked out even as it was filling for wash cycle. We have launched teh complaint to RC Gallery Vashi from where we bought the machine on sep 22. One service person from RC has come to inspect the machine on Sep 25 and after inspection he said since the machine is under warantee he will not touch it. So he went back and launched the complaint to service center on 25 Sep. Complaint No. being 15997.



                    Although we have given all details in the complaint the person from your authorised service centre turned up Sep 30 just to inspect the machine (that too aftre regular follow up with your call centre). He knew about the problem still he didn't broought any spare parts and just checked the machine for few minutes and rushed away saying some part is to be replace and will be doned by 1st Oct or 2nd Oct.



                    Nobody has turned out till date although regular followup on phone is continued. On 5th we called back again to call centre and insisted to talk to serice manager, which was denied and we told that Team leader will call us before 8 PM.



                    Nobody has called.



                    Machined is down since lat 15 days causing great trouble in day to day work. If you are not able to service the machine you are liable to replace it. It is under warantee.



                    You are required to attend and repair or replace the machine todat i.e. 6th Oct.

                    Whirlpool Washing Machine — useless company and worst service

                    My washing machine was replaced by the company just two months ago because they could not find spares for the machine which was covered under the AMC. Now the new machine is also giving trouble and looks like i am going to be in for a hard time because the "engineer" sent by them was absolutly at a loss as to how to attend the problem he had to borrow my copy of the instruction manual...at the end of it he left with the usual story about needing to get spares. when i called the customer care again i was shocked to hear them say that according to their records the complaint was "closed" and that the tech.had reported that he was not allowed to check the machine!! how o you handle a so called multinational company who resorts to such cheap tricks??
                    I am really kicking myself for having been conned into buying anything from Whirlpool.
                    I wish i ahd seen the number of complaints before i bought the machine.

                    Subject: Complaint against dishonoring warranty given by whirlpool service centre for replacement of part of refrigerator .


                    After visit and advice of whirlpool service engineer, I got done the following repair works in respect of whirlpool refrigerator [model – Deluxe Krona ] on 30.4.2008 [ consumer ID- DL/C/0408/26351] including visit charge of Rs. 225/-

                    Whirlpool Service engineer specifically informed that guarantee of gas filling was 3 months and parts replacement was 6 months.

                    i)TPT (charge Rs. 250), ii)Relay (Rs. 245), iii) Olp (Rs. 245), iv) Gas filling (Rs. 650)

                    Since defrost button was also not working, on advice of service engineer, I also got replaced thermostat of the said refrigerator on 24.5.08 after making payment of Rs. 345. Even after fixing of new thermostat by whirlpool engineer, defrost button is not working and problem still persists.

                    When I contacted Whirlpool service centre on 5/6 June, 08, they informed that fresh visiting charges would have to be paid as validity period of one month had expired to look into complaint of non-functioning of thermostat / defrost button.

                    Since this is a complaint against new thermostat part replaced by whirlpool service centre, the issue is covered under 6 months warranty period as told by your service engineer.

                    I also send my complaint through Speed Post on 7th August, 2008 to M/s Whirlpool of India Ltd., Gurgaon Sector -44 for issuing instruction to your service centre to replace the defective thermostat part to redress my grievance. Till date, there is no response. I think consumer court is the last option before me to get my grievance redressed.

My refrigerator barely done with 12 months and defrost button was not working, so as usual after my complaints customer service told you will be called within 24 hrs, so I was expecting a call within a day ..but here is a tricky part when they told it is 24 hrs I think it meant 24 working hours i.e 3 days ( googly ...!!!) so I got a call 3 days later and replaced theromostat, but it was not working and had to call again ...the service engineer again came next day and replaced thermostat again ..its still not working...I am still struggling ...

Basically this type of harassment was not happened in my life previously. I have told minimum 100 times to Capital Electronics as well as local authorized service center that please replace the same, but I am fully hopeless regarding your service after sale of any product. In this modern generation no family can live without a refrigerator, whereas my family is living without refrigerator during a long period (more than six months).                     Under the circumstances you are requested to take necessary steps so that I may escape from that problem forever and if possible please replace the same fridge by a new one. Treat this case as an extremely urgent.

                    My 1st complaint was on october, 2008 last weekr absolutely no response for that. Then 2nd complaint enter dated 3rd november. That complaint also closed without responsing anything. 3rd complaint was launched 5th november 2008. I have waranty for washing machine. My washing machines one part is disable. That part is not available in company. I got response that that part will get after 2 months and I have to pay for that Rs.1000/-. This is very redicules reply. Still today my washing machine is not repaired. I[censored] did not have part then please exchange my washing machine.

                    I am also a whirlpool customer from cochin, Kerala.I have bought a refrigerator and 2 a/c s for my bedrooms.My a/c's are not working since a month.The people of the authorsed service center in Cochin 'GLOBAL' was arguing so badly with us over phone that I really thought I should blog this matter.
                    They have major attitude problems which I feel should be taken care of by Whirlpool, otherwise they would end up losing a lot of customers in Cochin.

                    Finally 1 service engineer came over and said its some gas leak issue and that he is not having tools for repairing.And he left.And since then no action has been taken from the service center side 'GLOBAL' Cochin to resolve this a/c issue inspite of calling them day in and out and pleading them to come over to service the a/cs.

                    So Please people of cochin.Please do not buy whirlpool products, as later on servicing is a major concern.i have a lot of contacts, and I am also keeping on blogging the same.My lot of friends were intending to buy whirlpool appliances and I have asked them to rethink on that.

                    I never expected a reputed company like whirlpool to be so irresponsible when it comes to customer care and servicing.Its really a shame.
                    I completely agree with you. I have recently bought a washing machine and the damn thing does not go beyond washing, no rinse no drying ... i have complaint to customer care on sat 27th Dec '08 and from that day onwards been calling them very frequently and everytime i get the same apologies and the same assurance that someone will definitly look into the problem and they will be able to resolve my issue that day itself. Forget about resolving the issue, i have not yet got a person visiting or calling me and it have been a week since i have filed a complain.

                    Moreover there is no place in their website or at the customer care number where i can escalate this issue. So, much for an MNC company. Very bad service.

                    Whrilpool Refrigerator, Whitemagic — Poor customer service

                    I own a whirlpool Refrigerator model - Whitemagic, FF150 elite.
                    The compressor does not get cut off automatically and all the three lights keeps beeping and flashing. I raised a service request in Aug, 2008. An engineer came and replaced a component and was confident that the issue will be fixed, However the issue was not fixed and we faced the same problem.We called customer care again and again the same engineer came and replaced the same component, thinking that the component could be Dead On Arrival. We continued to have the same problem and the engineer came abd replaced the same part. The issue is still not fixed and the same component has been replaced 3 times. The issue is ongoing since Aug 2008. I called on Friday 6th, Feb 2009 and i was told that i will get a senior engineer the same day . I waited on friday and saturday and no one turned up and no phone calls from Whirlpool . When my husband called customer care today morning ( 9th Feb, 09), apparently there seems no records of the phone call made on friday and the frustrating part is the Engg hang up the call. My husband called again and asked for a manager, Apparently there is NO MANAGER available .. i wonder how can a customer service operate without a manager around and the operator hang up the call. THIS IS CAUSING A LOT OF FRUSTRATION AND STRESS . I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY THE PRODUCT AGAIN NOT WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE. I AM STILL WAITING FOR A CALL FROM WHIRLPOOL TO GET THE ISSUE FIXED.

                    Refrigerator — Poor service and response!

                    i am owner of wirlpool referigerator. it has been less than a year since i purchased it. Lately the cooling effect in the referigerator has gone down drastically. i called up customer care- but the people came after repeated reminders. someone came and diagnosed its compressor faulty. i said it is within warranty period so it be replaced imdtly. again, after repeated reminders some pers finally came after i spoke to the regional head office and threatened to logdge a written complaint. theses guys chAnged some part and gave the referigerator back- but the desired cooling effect is still not there.

                    I have been calling Whirlpool helpdesk for replacement of my refrigerator since it has burnt within the uarantee period and their representative came, checked and confirmed replacement. But after that no one is respondng to calls. whenever I call helpdesk they promise a call back with resolution but never call. Their branch office number is never answered. It is agonizing in this heat to keep going without the fridge. Its been more than a month now.

                    Whirlpool Washing Machine — Worst services & support

                    I have purchased a washing machine 'AMB 552' from Great Estern, kolkata on 28th Jan ' 09. It has been delivered after 6 days & lots of ph. call. It's about more than 1&1/2 months past but till now i can't able to use it a single day b'coz of some problem in machine. I hv called sevaral times to the whirlpool off but till no result!!!

                    Whirlpool Refrigerator — Very poor response to service calls

                    I bought refrigerator on 8th July 2006 (Whirlpool F 26 Elite scheme). Even with limited usage of refrigerator, it could not even last 3 years of service for us. The customer complaint system is pathetic and requires one to keep calling against an answering machine with no acknowledgement at any time afterwards and neither does anybody turns up. Its like one is complaining to an indifferent system.

                    The service is much unlike the service we had experienced in the past.

                    What can we do to handle such liars?

                    I am also facing the same issues as others, I am trying to reach customer care Whirlpool for the last 15 days. I have paid additional amount to extend my warranty but of no use.

                    I would like to file a case against them.

                    My father who is a farmer bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from Sanjay Agency, Shirur, Dist-Pune, Maharashtra, thinking that the product is good. The refrigerator is not at all working since 8th May 2009, immediately my poor father ranged up to the dealer (Sanjay Agency[protected] and launched a complaint about referigerator. While following up with the dealer repeatedly today he has given us a complaint no.DE364/OS/8 May/01 and aked us to follow up directly to the Ahmednagar Customer Care[protected], since we resides at Ahmednagar district. We realised that the customer service is utterly pathetic & now they are saying that our service engineers will visit to your house on tomorrow inspite of pleading for help. While asking why they are delaying action from 8th May, no answe is been offered from the customer care. Because of this callous attitude of the customer care, the companies reputation is taking a beating.I myself for sure has lost all faith and trust for this company due to their unprofessional attitute. My poor father is an illeterate farmer and do not know how to complaint, but despite having follow-up with the agency & customer care no action has been taken so far.

                    The call center is a chaos and the service representative doesnt even exist. I have been calling the call center a dozen times now, but of no use. They do nothing to help you. They only say they will put up a reminder. The call center is really pathetic. Please ppl donot buy any whirlpool products coz the after sales service doesnt even exist.
                    After visit and advice of whirlpool service engineer, i got the freezer & defrost buttom replaced on 13/05/2009 for the 6th sense technogoly fridge for a total amount of Rs 3000 inculding all chargs .Whirlpool Service engineer specifically informed that guarantee of gas filling was 3 months and parts replacement was 6 months.

                    Within a week the freezer was not working . When I contacted Whirlpool service centre on 19/05/2009, they informed that fresh visiting charges would have to be paid to look into complaint of non-functioning of Freezer / defrost button.

                    Since this is a complaint against new freezer replaced by whirlpool service centre, the issue is covered under 6 months warranty period as told by your service engineer.

                    TIill date, there is no response the customer service centre in cochin in spite of make repeated call to the call centre.

                    I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the pathetic service offered to me in spite of repeated follow up from my behalf .It has been 2 weeks since i lodged a complaint with the whirlpool service(cochin)regarding the hinges of the refrigerator(iceberg elite 310l) door that broke apart after just 15 months o[censored]se.I have not been able to use my refrigerator fro the last 2 weeks since the door cannot be closed nor open.There was not even a callback from the service team with reference to my complaint.I'm planning to take up this issue with the Kerala state consumer dispute redressal commission if due action is not taken at the earliest.
                    I agree completely with all the comments. Meanwhile, I do not know how to get Whirlpool to redress my complaint. It's over a week that I registered my complaint after countless telephone calls to countless numbers and people regarding my washing machine which is still under the warranty period. I have been told that the 'neo power motor' is damaged, needs to be replaced but a spare part is not available. The service provider in Bangalore is incompetent, not customer friendly and has asked me to call the 'spare part in-charge' to follow up. What kind of system is that where the customer is asked to do all the following up? I cannot imagine a leading washing machine manufacturer that does not have spare parts and yet sells its equipment and with no service back-up. They should be blacklisted. The worst is that this chap does not answser the phone. They either switch off their mobiles or just ignore calls. I am now stuck with an expensive white elephant with mountains of clothes to wash by hand with no solution in sight.

                    NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy a Whirlpool product
                    There is certainly an issue with the attitude of Whirlpool support staff. I was very fortunate to have been warned by a previous customer of whirlpool about the sad state of customer care. When I perchased a whirlpool ro water purifier inspite of being warned - my fears came true when I saw the attitude of the person who came to install the ro unit.
                    I thanked my stars and forfitted the token payment made to the dealer and asked him to take it back. I will be going in for Kent water purifier - which has excellent cust care.

                    Guys i[censored] r having a bad expirence with whirlpool - I would strongly advocate selling off the appliance even for a fraction of the price and go for Samsung or LG. It is easier on the pocket to spend once and have peace of mind rather than endure with the cust care guys and shell out money again and again for repairs.

                    DEFECTIVE PRODUCT & HARASSING CUSTOMER SERVICE

                    I bouhgt a White Magic 650H wasing machine from Chennai on April 2009.
                    In May 2009, the machine gave thuddering sounds and smoke. On complaint, the customer service replaced the complete electronic circuit.

                    Again in June 2009, the same defect occurred and the customer service wanted to change the same electornic board again. This was the most insensible diagnosis and I insited on the replacement. After a long struggle upto the Area Manager level, they agreed to replace the machine.

                    During the last week, they brought an old, used and dented machine for replacement. I refused and asked for a fresh piece. After 2 days, again they brought the same old machine for replacement. This time also I refused.

                    Till date I approached upto the area manager. There has been littel care and seriousness across all the levels and they are causal in dealing the issue. The strugle is going on for the last 2 months.

                    I need immediate replacement with a brand new machine and due compenasation for the loss that I incurred in the whole episode.

                    This mail be treated with leagal significance and my next action will be with the Consure Forum (ICPRC).

                    I had called the customer care on June 4th. The next daytwo people came and checked. The next two days passed and i had to call many times before i could get hold of somebody. Third day another "engineer" came and checkedand said some part has to be changed for which i have to pay 3500. He changed and still it didn work. After two days when i called, the office was ynder the impression tha the frig is repaired. Again after many calls, the engineer came and said this time that the fan had to be changed. The next day another engineer came and sais the compressor had to be changed. A fewmore days passed and i had to follow up and came to know that compressors are out of stock and will get back when they get them. Another 3 days and finally the copressor was changed and the gas was filled. Still the frig did not work. He said now the fan was not working and the water tray had to be changed. Again no stock and still has not come. Today when i enquired, another man is assighned to do the job. He has not yet turned up. In this computer fast world, does it take 20 days to know what is wrong with a frig? Does the company hire knowledge based tecs or anyone who can open a frig?I dont know whether this complain will bring any change. Yet it would be nice if the company takes notice does something constructive. It is th name afterall which is ruined

                    Despite several follow up with customer care and official at Jaipur, 2 month have gone but nobody is there to listen complaints. I can't expect such poor and casual response from a company like whirlpool.

                    Sir, I have got fed up with the nature of service the whirpool people at Bhubaneswar are rendering. Further your poducts are very poor and are leading to frequent problems from the very first month of purchase.
                    The refregerator gave tremendarus problem and after threating to go court the same was replaced. Now the door started giving some gap and is leading to loss of cooling and consumption to excess energy. Even after repeated complaints no one is coming to attend to this fault.
                    I have purchased one fully automatic fronth loading waching machine just two months back. There is some problem with the drainage of the water and is showing "del" after a few minutes of starting the wash. The persom who is attending the machine is not able to do anything. I except that the machine should be replaced or the problem solved once for all.
                    Is this what your company gives value service to the customers who burn their hard earned money.
                    If the problems are not attended to then I may have to go to the proper form to get redressal and my money back.

                    I had registered a complaint with the customer care on 27th June 2009. One if the service engineers from Bangalore visited after 2 days and informed that some parts have to be replaced and some other engineer would visit. Since then, till date I have been calling almost everybody at your customer care and at your Bangalore office. The response from everybody is very very poor. I escalated the issue to one Mr.Anand who the the team leader. He had assured me that he would call back and ensure that the call is attended. He neither called nor any development took place.

                    I even called the Branch Manager at your Bangalore office (Mr.Ashwin). He again assured me and later started avoiding my calls. He I called him several times and he does not receive my calls.

                    With this washing machine being faulty, it has been a real convinience to us at our home. We have completely lost faith in Whirlpool products. This is really very disappointing to mention that Whirlpool's services and the response is so very poor.

                    There was a complaint which was half reparied by authorized machanic from Whirlpool after that inspite of endless tele calls they have not turned up i think to put a belt under the machine does not cost 420 Rs
                    It been almost 15 days that they are promising to come.
                    I am thoroughly disgusted with Nano Services a whirlpool service centre in Bangalore. Not only is the service terribly poor but also the people sitting to lodge the complaint are extremely rude and do not know how to talk to customers. They do not value their customers' time and think that the customers should wait all day at home for weeks altogether for their people to come and service the same.

                    Everytime they come they will inform us about only one problem with the machine and charge us for the spare parts to replace the same. Again, when we have a problem with the machine they will come and tell us to change some other part. I mean when they are coming and opening the machine they should inform us about all the problems that are there in the machine at one go. I cannot pay Rs 4000 every month!! I mean for god's sake we are laymen where the technicalities are concerned!! When these technician's are opening the machine, they should inform us about all problem that we are facing at once and the approximate cost that we are looking at!!

                    I especially have a problem with Mr. Nandan in the company, who is not only extremely rude in talking to the customers but also does not file the complaint until after a week of the first call!! I had to call everyday for alomst a week to this company and was made to talk to Mr. Nandan and Mr. Kumar alternatively and at the end neither of them ended up filing my complaint!! It was Mr. Raju at last who finally provided me with a complaint number. Even then, he promised that the technicians would arrive within 48 hours of the time of the call - this was on Monday morning. Technically, the 48 hours expire on Tuesday evening, however for nano service the 48 hours end when 72 hours end for normal people - their technicians arrived on Wednesday evening!!

                    If whirlpool has any respect and decency as one of the biggest companies, they should fire Mr. Nandan immediately with a very bad reference and consider taking away the franchise from Nano services!!!

                    I completely agree with all the above complaints regarding whirlpool. I purchased a double door elite refrigerater in 2005 in Kochi and since then had number of problems. I have called their customer care numbers and the responses has been pathetic. perhaps 30-40 complaints and calls have been made and no satisfactory results.
                    My refrigerater started leaking water and stopped cooling. a technician came and did gas charging for 3 - 4 days and the problem was not resolved. First day i paid their gas charging and visiting charges but then subsequently said that unless my problem is solved and tested for a week i am not going to pay a penny. They visited few more times and saw that the problem remained and then stopped visiting thereafter. I made calls to gurgaon office but all in vain .

                    I am highly disappoint with this brand i had purchased this refreegerator in 2004, 450lts. 38000rs i spent on that and the result is zero i have changed the module around 5-6 times which is also a very costly affair and the problem is same as every summer season its module doesnt work properly. this is the worst product i have ever bought and i recommend everybody never buy this company product it is worthless.
                    I fully agree. While I have no compliant agianst the products let me tell you the service sucks! I cannot understand why a company of such standing cannot look into this.

                    WHIRLPOOL / A.C. — POOR QUALITY ACs

                    I had bought a whirlpool 1.5 ton window AC in May 2007. Just after running for two and a half seasons, it stopped cooling due to leakage of compressor gas. Though the company claims a warranty fo 5 years on compressor, but ironically, the most common fault (gas leakage) is not covered in the warranty and I am being made to pay a hefty sum of Rs. about Rs.2500/- for gas refilling. Has anybody ever heard of an AC compressor going bad after two years? Can only happen with "WHIRLPOOL". On the contrary, I have been using another AC since 1997 of Carrier Aircon make, which despite having weathered six shiftings, has never given any trouble. Feel so unfortunate to have bought a Whirlpool product. But suggest that no one should venture into buying a Whirlpool product again.

                    There was a problem with my whirlpool refrigerator of 400lt.Company empoy's had taken RS1500 from us as they were saying that there was a problem with commpressor and our refrigerator was under warranty and after changing the commpresor the refrigerator didn't worked the same day also, then they(company empoy) said that we weould again changing the commpressor after 1month they again changed the commpresoor ,then also the refrigerator didn't worked then after 15days they had again come to change relay after that 1month they changed fan motor which was of Rs1100 and we didin't pay the charges of fan motor as we said to them that we will be paying it only when our refrigerator would be working but it didint't worked and again we called ur company employ then after that they are not responding to us.The persons involved in this was Mr.Kaleem,Mr Zaheb,Mr.Sohiab,Mr.Amit,Mr. Azad and many more but now now one responding us our refrigerator has not been working since 3 months and we have purchased this from RISHIKESH.phone no.[protected],[protected].reply as soon as possible.
                    I brought a whirlpool mastermind Black delux refrigeratore on August 2009 from Sreema Electronics at Baranagar, Kolkata. I lodged a complaint regarding the door of the refrigeratore. one of your engineer came and veryfied, then assured that within a very short time the door will be replaced. moreover one tray is not their according to the picture showing in the prospectus. allmost one and half months past. whenever I made contact with the customer service centre, the same type of assurance I got from the phone receiver i.e. "we will be contacting you within two or three hours."                     Whirlpool washing machine - Model 650H — Dealer complaint

                    On 15/10/2009 I went to your Dealer "DAWAR International electronics Pvt Ltd" in Gurgaon' where in dealer sold me Whrlpool washing machine - Model 650H, He swiped my debit card with Rs 14000 to take the payments and promised to deliver the machine on 15/10/2009 but till date the washing machine has not reached me.

                    I have a whirlpool washing machine which is having a problem since a month, which started with a noise and now the agitator is stopped. Since a month i have followed up, twice service fellow came and told me that noise is because of scaling and advised me to use a powder costing Rs 500 and after using that now he is telling me to have a chemical wash which is costing Rs 650 with out actually checking the main problem. We dont know whether service people are making money or whirlpool is least bothered about after sale service.
                    yes. i also agree with the complaint. whenever i try to call customer care each time a different preson takes the complaint and they say that this will be done in 2 days. there is no complaint register and we have to tell the story eachtime from the beginning. i reaaly had a very bed experience from whirlpool and decided never ever to buy any of their products! what else can we do??!!!

                    I wish to bring to your kind notice that I purchased the above Washing Machine from your dealer namely; Fairdeal International, 1, Sourin Roy Road, Kolkata – 700 034 on the 28th of March, 2009.

                    2.0 The above machine was installed at my residence on 28th March, 2009. From the date of installation it started malfunctioning and I had to approach to the service centre for rectification on several occasions. The details are as under:-

                    2.1 On 13.04.2009 your Service Engineer visited my residence to give a demonstration and operation started hereafter.

                    2.2 On or about 13th of July, 2009 the machine started malfunctioning and I lodged a compliant. Your Service Engineer visited on 18.07.2009 and he found that the Valve in PCB was defective and it required replacement alongwith the PCB. Accordingly, he visited again on 29.07.2009 and replaced the same.

                    2.3 Again the same problem appeared on 05th October, 2009 and the Service Engineer called on 07.10.2009 and found the replaced PCB as defective and once again, the same was replaced on 10.10.2009.

                    2.4 Further, the Machine was repaired/rectified on 13.10.2009 by your Engineer based on compliant from my side.

                    2.5 A photocopy of the Report of Service Request alongwith a photocopy of the ‘Warranty’ is enclosed herewith for your kind perusal.

                    2.6 It transpires that a defective washing machine has been supplied through M/s. Fairdeal International, Kolkata on 28.03.2009, and the machine will behave in the same fashion in future, as it did in the past.

                    2.7 In view of the above the subject washing machine warrants immediate replacement by a new one to eliminate the trouble of customer, in future.

                    3.0 It is also brought to your notice that a Whirlpool Refrigerator Model No.WRDQ 168E20 and SRL No. INA[protected] is being used by the undersigned for the last ten years without any trouble and as such I decided to purchase a Whirlpool Washing Machine based on the satisfactory performance of Refrigerator supplied by the same esteemed organization.

                    I had made a small complaint on 4th Nov, 2009. One leg of my refrigerator was broken, I asked them to replace that.One of their representative came after 15 days, noted some model no., etc.. that's all... its almost 2 months and these people cannot repair a small thing. I tried calling them many times. Initially they responded saying that the part is yet to come to their service center. Moreover they say that, anyways you have put a small glass there in place of leg, so you can wait for sometime. Its is obvious I have to make some arrangement but does it mean that they can prolong it for indefinite time.Later on they stopped pickking up my phone call also. They have got their service fees... so is that all?
                    I took a 440ltr of Whirlpool refrigerator on 20.04.09, and at the time of sales the companys representative at giriyas, bangalore told us that there is an built stabilizer to promote its product, after 6months the fridge is not cooling and when the person from service centre came it was told that there is not inbuilt stabilizer.

                    Further last 20days I m struggling to get the another service person and there is no hearing.

I have made five complaints on various dates to fix the same copmplaint,my last one dated 27 01 2010. Till now the same was not attended to by the local agent.
                    I am not satisfied with the backup service provided by M/s whirl pool. We has earlier experience with washing machine which we sucessfully replaced with the other make. Now we are suffering with the fridge. If they can't provide after sales backup let them not sell the products.

                    Their attitude to customers is threatening... They should cease their contract immediately with Global service centre, Kochi. The Manager Called Mr.Mariappan and contact person Mr.Sham has to be prosecuted for treating customers as their slaves for making atleast 20-30 calls for fixing one single compalint.

                    A Whirlpool White Magic Deluxe Washing Machine (Fully Automatic)- Chassis No. INB[protected]/34S02 was purchased on 14th Dec. 2000. There after My first contract No. HP01103870 was registered on March 2 2005, Thereafter regularly I am renewing the service contract (AMC). Again on[protected] I got renewed this vide your receipt No. 078923, and latest vide receipt No. 151342 on[protected].

                    I am sorry to say that while taking the service contract tall promises are made that regular quarterly checkup will be taken up, calls within next 48 hours will be attended. But since last 4 years not a single promise was kept. Even the calls were also not attended satisfactorily. Every time any service call was made we specifically mentioned on the attending slip about the unsatisfactory service.

                    This time though it is mentioned on the receipt that within 30 days we will receive a welcome kit and registration letter. But till date no such paper is received.

                    On 03rd Feb 2010(Comp. No. 1523) I made a complaint about water leakage and male functioning of some switches. Though the call was attended but neither water leakage problem was fully rectified not the faulty switches were replaced.

                    Again for the same problem I lodged complaint on 12th April 2010,a young gentleman attended the complaint but his skill was not good. Instead of rectifying the problem he made the machine unusable and water started overflowing.

                    Once a service contract is made any problem must be attended by fully trained service technicians. But the persons attending complaints are neither trained not have the required tools.

                    A consumer pays hefty sum of Rs. 4,000.00(approx.) to keep the machine trouble free, but not for inviting the mental tension. Whirlpool is a company of international repute and it is shameful to cheat the small consumers by charging hefty sum and not giving proper service.

                    I request you to make sure that all problems in my washing machine be rectified with properly trained technicians and replace the faulty & male functioning parts/switches immediately for which you are bound by service contact. Failing which you will be responsible for all the consequences arises due to this.

                    I had purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator of Whirlpool in Chandigarh. After some time I faced a problem of non- cooling with it. After my complaint their service center in Plot # 78, Industrial Area, Phase 2, Chandigarh, got it fixed up. After few months I faced the same problem again and the service center people told me that they would need to change the compressor. I got it replaced by paying Rs. 1700/- but to my utter surprise it did not work. I complained again and the service center people said that we would need to get the gas re-filled in it. However, they themselves brought a new compressor(God knows if it was a new or just an old one packed into a new box), they charged me Rs, 1500/- again for filling the gas.

                    After refilling the gas the refrigerator did not still worked. Service center said that there is some blockage and that they would need to check it thoroughly in their service center. After keeping it in their so called service center for damn 3 days and my utter frustration, they sent it back saying the problem has been resolved.

                    it is been good 7-8 days and the refrigerator is doing pathetic. Unfortunately, their is no one to listen to us and that the Whirlpool authorities do not feel important to listen to their customers.

                    They do give a customer satisfaction code which is supposed to be given to the engineers if the service is satisfactory, but the complaints get closed without these codes.

                    It is my request to all of you to please NOT GO FOR WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS, if you do not want to be harassed.

                    My whirlpool refrigerator has developed a defect for which i sought assistance of the company. It's over 10 days now my refrigerator is still not operational. Every day a new technician has been sent , a new diaognsis and a new quote and an excure that spare parts are not availble.

                    I'm really frustrated with their Customer Support and Service Center in Tilaknagar, Hyderabad and did not think that a brand like Whirlpool would have such a poor service. My efforts to get across the consumer service manager have been unsuccessful.

                    I have lost trust in this brand and would advise all consumers not to buy a whirlpool product.
                    I have several whirlpool devices with me because I had trust in your product ad services. But despite my several complaints, the local service centre hasn't attended to my leaking double door, 450 litres fridge.                     On June 28 2010 I was a unfortunate buyer of Whirpool washing machine model 650H, Top loading fully automatic m/c from B.H.ELECTRONICS Yusaf Sarai New Delhi. The installation was done in two days time as engineer was not able to fix the inlet pipe connector with our Tap(First Shock of service). Then came the second shock. During our first run of the machine on June 30, 2010 the entire inner steel Tub broke down with a loud sound. Can you imagine - The main tub assembly completely broke down. What a quality product Whirlpool is making? The worst part I am facing these days is getting a refund of my money from Them. Again and again they are insisting for replacement machine but I need refund only. It is almost 15 days I bought the machine but no action from authorities on my refund cheque.

                    I have decided that I will never buy Whirpool Product for rest of my Life. Poor Customer services and Bad Product. I donot know why Kajol is endorsing their products.

                    Whirlpool / A/C — Unable to repair their own product after charging.

                    I purchased Whirlpool A/c 1.5 T since 2 years and in use for one year only . Due to some cooling problem. I have registered a complaint with Whirlpool about my Air conditioner. As my A/C was out of warranty they charge me for engineer visit. He checked the A/C and came to conclusion that A/C gas is already leaked and let me know the charges of Gas filling. I agreed to pay the charges. Another Engineer came to re-fill the Gas and I gave him the charges for the gas filling to him. After one month again the same problem occurs. I again make the complaint to Whirlpool and engineer came and refills the gas in the A/C and charges me for the engineer visit again. I again pay the charges to him as they say service warranty is only for One month. After two days again same problem occurs with the A/C. Again I logged the call with the case ID HR[protected]. Again engineer came and says that this is poor quality A/C and we will not able to repair this A/C. I call up Whirlpool to refund back my money; they refuse to pay it back. I am suffering from the both side. Now three and a half month is gone, I am not able to use my A/C and I have lost my money also. I am still waiting for Whirlpool service engineer to repair my A/C.

                    Purchased a whirlpool F300, deluxe fridge from Fridge House Trichur Kerala on 16.4.2010 and installed on the same date. A few days after I could find that cold air was leaking through the anterior side of the crisper tray laterally, and water was also dribbling from the lower side of the main body from the front side. The matter was reported to the service centre on 16.5 .2010 and also sent SMS to 58558.Technician came on 17th, and after examination told me that it will vanish spontaneously after some time and left! Instead the condition worsened and again send SMS to 58558 thrice on 16.6.2010, 8.7.2010 and 20.7.2010. A technician came on 10 7 2010 and
                    Left, but the condition prevails as before. Manufacturing engineer’s technical assistance is required for the Technicians here to find out the reason for this defect.

                    Request your personal attention in the matter. Now I feel that I made a great blunder of purchasing this whirlpool refrigerator, and I feel sorry for myself and for your service quality.

                    What response I may get is a matter of time to decide!!

                    I want to know on how can i get a refund for the washing machine (Whirlpool professional sport) model which i purchased @ a cost of 24, 749/- Its been only been a week since i purchased it and the very first usage gave me 3 errors. After repeated calls to customer care they finally sent a technician after 6 days. The technician straight away opened the parts and said the user board needs to be replaced. I just want a refund so i can select from other brands rather than have a refurbished or problematic product. And the customer care would not even tell me on how i can claim a refund by returning the product.                     Sub Purchase of defective Washing machine regarding

                    It is to invite your kind attention that I have purchased a semi automatic whirl pool washing machine (model 11819 7.2 kg dry linen, sup wash XL-A72s) on 16/06/2010 but unfortunately after one week its Lint filter bag torn, being a very minor defects I did not complaint but after one month during the course of washing a loud noise came and we found that a vertical plastic part in which lint filter housing was attached separated from the body from the bottom drain to top as a result washing could not be done, consequently nearby service centre was called and they responded after one week, till such time no washing, service personnel re screwed and refitted the part but again after one week it went off, the same exercise done intermittently putting me to blame myself having selected the whirl pool product, finally service person told me that no repairing is possible but to replace the parts and it has to be arranged from Kochin, then again I had to wait for one month for want of parts and till such time no use of our new washing machine after one and half month new part was fitted, but to my embarrassment again that part was also went off while washing as a result small piece of cloth entered into the drain system and blocked, finally finding no solution I contacted your cochin office, after two days same service personnel came and he suggested that he would paste the item with strong fixing bond and he told me that he will bring the item next day and disappeared and to my embarrassment till date he has not turned up I contacted cochin office several time and they keep on apologising me but no concrete action was taken and based on previous experience I never believe and hope of rectifying the defects.
                    Keeping in view of the above I would like to have the following relief from your end, I want damages for mental agony pain and humiliation, besides compensating full amount of the cost of the washing machine, so that I could buy any other good washing machine other than Whirl pool.
                    I would like to have your reply with in 15 days of the receipt of my appeal so to opt for further course of action.

                    Yes it's right. I am also screwed, I bought a Washing M/C and Oven. In 2 years I had to replace Washing M/C's Mother Board 2 times. It's not working now, I saw this comment while I was seaching for a Service Centre other than Global, Cochin. Same case with Oven also, changed its touch pad once and have taken it to the Service centre more than 3 times. Both were purchased together from White Planet, Cochin.                     Whirlpool Refrigerator — sudden non function

                    sir,
                    i purchased a refriegerator FF MM26 VX DU ET BLUE 5S(double door) on 18/07/2010 from Tirumala Music Centre(p)ltd. The refriegerator, all of a sudden stops functioning for some 3 to 4 hours and again starts function. we observed it number of times and i made a sms complaint and received sms on 06-06-11 that my complaint was registered as SR no.HD[protected]. on 07-06-11, i received another sms that my call was allotted to s.d.babu. on 08-06-11 we received a phone call on my land line[protected] querying the problem and when we conveyed the problem, they said that, that type of problems are common to the whirlpool refriegerators and advised not to worry. again today i received sms stating that my call was closed in system. when i called back on the help line no. again they are starting to re-register my call/complaint. the entire process seems to be very casual in treating the complaints. plz advise your service engineer in my area to make a physical search through my complaint under a written advice.

                      We have purchased Whirpool refrigerator 310 L DLX Iceberg on 11 March 2006. After that we have taken extended annual maintenance contract with Infovision Merchandising Services From 28-08-06 to 27-08-12...

                      Our refrigerator is not working and we have made complains to whirpool customer call centre from last 18 days .Service engineers who are visting palce by cahnce states that the problem is not in our hands and we can not rectify the problem. It is now 18 days we are suffering on our job daily routine work as per waiting all day for your service engineers . We have also put a lumsum amount on landline calls and mobile bill . Service engineer states that sparee part is not availble at company .

                      Please try to rectify the problem other wise we have to move to legal modes.

                        Hi, I had complained about my refridgerator not cooling properly and on the same day within hours of making the complaint the service man came to charge me. He checked the fridge and said everything is fine except that the gas has choked and made a bill for Rs. 1700 only and said the engg will come next day to fill the gas. I was asked to make the payment before hand which i did. The engg never came in as promised and when he came in only my maid was at home and he cme in and did something because of which now my frigde will no switch on at all. He never had the courtsey to tell us also as to what he had done. Now i am left with a piece of appliance that doesnot work at all. This is the worst service i think which one can imagine. My recommendation is never ever buy a whirlpool product as the after sales service is horrible.

I have been extremely harassed for this services rendered by your Calcutta department. I lodged a complain for the replacement of drainage switch of my washing machine to your calcutta department vide complain no. : KL[protected]. Accordingly, I contacted your Delhi office for the same reason . But surprisingly both of your Delhi and Calcutta office have shown their efficiency in giving lame excuses that the said drainage switch is not available at their stock. Hence they are unable to give any service to me at the present moment and further more they are not giving me any time limit to replace the same.
                          In this context, I would like to inform you that I have given Rs 2400/- (rupees two thousand four hundred only) against homecare service to your company for two years.
                          My question is that what is the utility of giving you any advance if no service from you is available. Does it not cost of your company’s reputation?
                          If you think that this type of service to the customers will cost your reputation then you will definitely instruct your Delhi and Calcutta brunch of India to replace the drainage switch of my aforesaid washing machine as early as possible.
                          I will be thankful if in future I will not be compelled to write this type of letter to you.

                              Sir, please note that, after this no person will come to replace the part and I am regularly following up for the service at your customer care at Jaipur and always they assured that our service engineer will come with in one or two days.

                                Washing Machine (sixth sense) has been giving me a problem for the last one year of too much vibrations / shaking when on spin mode. The exact problem is yet to be identified by the service care pers. They have made me change the washing machine wheels 3-4 times. They also tried to tell me that probably the flooring of the house is uneven. The worst happened when recently the service care pers did not even operate the machine and remarked, " the wheels need changing ", he further recommended that the the washing machine be put on a wheel base trolley.                                 I have purchased Whirpool Washing Machine - Sixth Sense. It is almost 3 Yrs since I have purchased and in these three yrs the frequency of service call I have made is so high that a very good quality shouldnt. We have been facing so many problems, but we there is no body to provide an excellent service from company. I feel Whirlpool is one of the third grade service as well as in Quality in recent yrs. I would suggest better think twice before purchasing the products of whirlpool. Even the Customer Care is so bad that they have no positive response and the same with the service engineers, Overall the Servicing and also the spares of Whirlpool has become so in efficient thet it doesnt last long. Its hopeless buying such costly products of WHIRLPOOL. I am really frustrated of such an third grade product as well as an third grade service provided.

                                I bought a Whirlpool Microwave oven in the month of April'08 and after 3 months had problem with the appliance and registered a complaint with the Customer Srvice on 9/15/08.The service personnel turned up on 9/30/08, opened up the microwave oven and said that a chip on a board had to be replaced and they would attend to it in a couple of days(they even did not fix back the screws of the back panel).Inspite of about a hundred phone calls to the customer care they have still not come back to replace the same as on 11/26/08.
                                Even t'day when i call them the cust.service exec replies that they are working on it and will get back with the details in a couple of hours.
                                I feel this company has the worst after sales servicing.
                                I am contemplating about going to Consumer Redressal Forum to get the refund for the microwave.
                                I bought a A/C Magic Cool of whirlpool. I agree that their is a magic in it because A/C without cooling.

                                  Have purchased the machine around 3 yrs back. I have got fade up with the machine. I had lot of expectations with the Whirlpool Company. This is one of the bad experiance that II have any of world leading brands like whirlpool.

                                  This machine is consistent in giving problem; Its spinner motor got out of ourder; its bearings; its belt; its spinner door; its spinner limit switch. This has happened even I have fixed the machine a one place and do lots of cleaning and machine up keep regularly.

                                  Along with me, my freinds have purchased other brands and even suggested me not to purchase this brand. But I had gone with my own prefrerence and showed confidence in the company and its product. Now I am getting result of it.

                                    My name is Natarajan. I bought a fridge in 2003 from whirlpool with guarantee for 5 years and went for an AMC upto 2010.

                                    Last month (april), our fridge had a problem of not getting cooled. So we placed a complaint and a service agent came on 19 Apr 2008 and said the compressor was not working. As we still have guarantee for the product as well as AMC for upto 2010, he changed the compressor after a months time. Even after changing the compressor, the fridge is not getting cooled. So we again called the service agent.

                                    This time he says that, there is a block inside the back panel and the fridge has to be changed with the cost of Rs.8000. We don' t understand, why we need to pay such a huge amount to get the replacement as we still have guarantee and AMC.

                                    Kindly do the needful to get a prior service from whirlpool as soon as possible.

                                    I agree with Mr.Natarajan on the way Whirlpool service department handles service. Whirlpool has service association with M/s Sai Services, and i reached the call desk at[protected] for reporting the problem with My Washing machine..An Engineer turned up and inspected the product and start marketing about a cleansing agent powder. I asked him to prescribe the name of the washing machine cleansing powder, the engineer still forced me to but the stuff from him. I relented, and for the last two months i am struggling with Whirlpool in terms of service handling. In my opinion Please do not buy whirlpool, i do not know anything about how services are offered, but with whirlpool it is pathetic.

                                    I have purchased a 310Lit Whirpool Refrigerator from one of their authorised dealer in Ahmedabad about a year back and it was working OK. However recently we observe that there is irregularity in the cooling and the food products stored inside get spoiled.

                                    I have made a complaint and in the first instance, I also have paid their engineers service charge and after a casual check up it has been reported that it is working and no apparent mistake is observed.

                                    Again I experienced the problem of poor quality and Company's engineer made a casual visit and he has not done anything except feeling the temparature inside and promised to come again. All the while he was insisting for entering into an Annual Service Contract.

                                    On a second instance also he visited and went back without doing anything. I have made three complaints on their centralised customer support centre ([protected]) and each time I got a nice talk of deputing engineer and setting right the problem, but in vain.

                                    Now I dont know what to do? Is it a must that I should enter into an Annual Service Contract? Could you please enlighten me in the matter.

Many of my calls have been recorded, what i understand from their internal system while lodging compliant/request for service, i kindly request the higher management to go through the same and undersstand the fact that how much harrassment your service station people have caused on me. It is really a very shamefull on the part of the Compnay if it is not aware of such instances.

                                    The refrigerator at my home is not working for last few days. I called their service center at least 10 times. Everytime I was told that someone will come within 24 hours to fix this.
                                    So far nobody came and we are facing serious difficulty without a refrigerator. I expected better service from Whirlpool. But it looks like they are very insensitive to customer care.

I totally agree with with others, their service sucks - they have no consideration for the user and are busy only in promotional activities. I contacted the custoemr care centre again and they assured that the engineer will be at my house in next 2 hrs. --but nobody turned up.

                                    Whirlpool India, Bangalore service is pathetic, I have been calling their service center since last three days regarding access cooling problem in my refrigerator. Everytime their executive tells me that engineer will visit today and no one has turned up till now. Earlier Apr 1, 2009 their engineer had came charged me which Rs. 280 and did some fan adjustment and said it will be ok. Again, the same problem existed so again their engineer visited on Apr 10 he changed the sensor and charged Rs 350. This did not solve the problem yet. Its 18th April 2009 and I have been calling their service center since last three days regarding access cooling problem in my refrigerator and every day they are telling engineer will come but no one turned up yet.

                                      I bought a stabilizer for Rs 1450 for my fridge from your company and your customer care people assembled with fridge on 22/03/2008. all the perishable goods spoiled becuase of fridge not working propoerly when i saw next day. i logged the complaint the same day, after three days, your customer care people came to my home and they told to be replaced in two three days. then i told to refund my amount to your second visited customer care executive becuase your customer care people did not come immididatly. then one of your customer care person's name Mr. saravanan and Mgr Mr. Ramesh agreed to refund the amount after the stablizer resold to some other person. this has been committed the first week of the april. there is no reply from your customer care after logged the complaint two three time. finally, i go for consumer court for next week based on my compalint logged over the phone(Copy with me) and this reference.

This machine is under AMS and Till date (22days passed), it is still pending. I am frequently calling in your service center for any updation. All service centre executives as well as seniors are passing the time and not giving proper reply. They are not serious to attend this machine. All are given always one slogan "Part is not available". If Whirlpool have a Brand vaule then 22days are too much for arrangement of any parts. Its means whirlpool or service centre are not interested to continue the after sales service, so that company is harassing the customer.

                                      I have been a customer with your company for 4 years now and I'm sorry to say but my association with you has not been very pleasant.I had purchased a whirlpool refrigerator FF 450 Elite ICEMAGIC, double door in Sept 2004 and have already had numerous problems with the same.
                                      Anyway that is not what my complaint is about.My complaint is about the very disgraceful and disgusting behaviour of your customer representatives and the service reps.
                                      I had called up on the 20th to register a complaint about my fridge and called again on the 21st to follow-up since on talking to the rep on the 20th, I found him to have a very laid-back attitude.I was asked to speak with the service centre and when I posed my grievance, there was a Mr.Mukesh Upadhyay who started to yell at me.I even told him that he needed a crash-course customer relations.When I asked him to hand over the phone to some other service rep, he banged the phone on me.I then called the call centre and made a complaint which was again taken very lightly.I was finally put onto the manager Mr Akram who told me that he gets a thousand calls saying that their fridge work is urgent just like i told him.Now tell me sir, isn't that what he's sitting there for?Is he sitting there to solve a customer's problem or is he there to cause the customer a problem!According to me it's the latter.I would like to know if this is the way all your customers are treated.
                                      The service reps are taught to tell the customer how they regret the inconvenience caused to the customer but don't take any steps towards the same.
                                      Even the service rep who visited my home was very abrupt and curt with my maid.He called me to tell me that the compressor of the fridge was spoilt and that I should call the company and ask for a replacement.Now that, according to me, is not MY job to do but HIS!I regret my association with your company and would discourage my friends and family to invest in any of your products.

                                      At the very out set i am very disappointingly inform you:

                                      • We have bought 4 nos. of above mentioned AC from your authorized dealer (which reference is got from your website) in second fortnight of May 2009. The installation of AC is also got done through them.
                                      • You would appreciate that we have bought the AC only looking to reputation of Whirlpool. Since the starting there was problem in AC and still one of my AC is not working.
                                      • Here I would inform you that looking to HOT Temperature we have bought the AC and invest huge amount for it. And it is useful and necessary for us in this duration else it is not required, if we have to live without AC or have to do some alternative then why we invest such amount I hope you would understand the situation.
                                      • We have regularly informed to your dealer some time he sent the person but no satisfactory outcome had come and no proper cooling were receive and some time water comes inside the room wall. We have again inform him on 10th June 2009 when one of my AC could not start too.
                                      • On our daily follow up he told that "I will send authorize service centre person for rectification of fault" sorry to say but Mr. Ajay Khanna came to my house on 13th June at 15.00 Pm approx and after inspection he told that there is some lack of Gas etc. so I will come on Monday (15th June 2009) to rectify the fault properly; but again after our followup he comes on Tuesday (16th June 2009) and do the some work at my home and assured me that now there is no fault.
                                      • on 17th June 2009 Evening that AC again became non working, we inform the dealer and service centre person but he came on 19th June 2009 (In hot it is the after sale service for newly bought AC?) and after checking he told that there is problem in Compressor hence the same shall be replace and it takes approx 7 days maximum. On subsequent discussion with him, dealer and Mr. Bhupendra of your company, looking to temperature Mr. Bhupendra and dealer assure us the Compressor would replace and reinstall at my home with in 2 to 3 days. We have even SMS to all of them regarding my problem.
                                      • After 3 days when we talk to them they told that with day or two the replacement would done but disappointingly thereafter nothing is happen in this regard on 27th June 2009 I again SMS them and yet to wait for replacement of the compressor.
                                      • Now I hope you would do the needful action for replacement of the same and proper checking of my all AC immediately without further delay. You would appreciate this type of problem in fresh product and bed after sale service would effect your company's reputation in market.
                                      • Further if the same was not replace today than these AC are not useful for us and you have to return back our money because if we can not use the AC in summer than it is meaningless and we have to take further action for the same, please also confirm who will pay (company, dealer, service person) for this delay, problem to us, coloring of walls etc.
                                      We are looking for your prompt action and also hope that you would take action on your dealer, Mr. Ajay and Mr. Bhupendra for their unprofessional attitude and services which gives negative effect on Whirlpool name.

                                      Nevetheless, I am more concirned about my product and the company's claim on the product. When I bought that refrigetrator, the dealer conveyed me that stabilizer is not required to run the refrigerator. It has the automatic protection. The same also is mention in bold on my product branding area as "Stabilizer is not required". So how come the refrigerator motor goes burnt because of electric fluctuations.
                                      My refrigerator is still lying in the same condition, and have not received any response from whirlpool after sales service team.

                                      I Rhishikesh Wagh bought 265 Ltr. Fusion Single door conventional whirlpool fridge in 2006.
                                      From last 20 days I am facing below severe problems of this fridge :
                                      i) Though cooling is set on minimum, generation of ice in freezer at frequent interval and because of that tripping several times.
                                      Due to this, several time in a day, the water get drain out in tray kept on compressor. Excess water of it gets spell over on floor daily across the room.
                                      ii) Refridg. door hinge on bottom corner is offset from the alignment. So door is not getting properly closed.

                                      I raised service call on 19th Sept09, till date there is no concrete resolution from whirlpool service team.
                                      Their service Engineer ( Mr.Sangram) visited on 21st Sept09 in hurry and in a minute of his observation, he concluded that this is severe problem and he may need to visit again for detail check.                                       On 26th Sept.09, I personally visited Whirlpool’s nearest auth.service centre, Phoenix Enterprise ( On Pimpre-Chichwad Rd.). The service-incharge called Sangram to understand his feedback. Sangram suggested to replace the refridg.door. On detail enquiry he further suggested to send some one to check again the cause of problem.
                                      On my request, the service In-charge assured me that he will send expert again in next hour or so to check the fridge.
                                      No one came to my place after that (My flat is hardly 1 km away from this service centre.)
                                      Again I raised a service call on their Pune service number. To which their other service engineer (Mr.K/Gawade from Phoenix Entrp.only ) visited my place after 2 days. After complete check-up, he suggested to replace only the fridgethermostat and assured us that door problem will get resolved by putting washer @ door hinge at the bottom alignment part.
                                      I agreed to it and told him to repair it urgently. Again he also not turned back even after 2 days. So I called him on his given mobile no. To my shock he told me that he went thru’ first report ( Sangram’s report) and he feel now the need of replacement of door along with Thermostat.

                                      I requested him to again check the fridge and give me the final plan of action to resolve my issue.

                                      But neither he nor any service tech. reverted back. Today its already 15 days are over but still the service team is doing trial and error. My basic question to company is :

                                      i) Are your so called service engineers works on trial and error every time.
                                      ii) Are you looking your service arm to really serve your customers or making superfluous profit by cheating them.
                                      iii) Will you called this a quality product or your commitment to deliver poor quality? Is this company aim to delivery such poor quality products which will start giving problems to customers in 2-3 yrs of purchase?
                                      iv) Is their no mechanism in your organization to track the unclosed Customer’s service calls. Are their no reviews (by seniors service experts) o[censored]nclosed service calls?Are their no SLAs on closure of service calls ?
                                      Is it a normal course of action by your service team not to work on customer calls even after 15-20 days of registering it.

                                      Today, I regret on my decision to buy this pathetic product from such unprofessional company. For others, I suggest don’t go for purchase of consumer durables if they are not backed by professional service to support it.

                                      Whirlpool is the most pathetic service i have ever seen in my life, they send me a damaged AC 2 months back and they still dont have time to replace it even after calling them more than 100 times...Whirlpool...u suck big time... finally i have decided to launch a complaint in the consume court today... Dont ever by any whirlpool products, you will be in a big loss...
