Hello,
I posted a Complaint about the same product on[protected] @ www.consumercomplaints.in (same "Subject of Complaint"). I made many phone calls, as a follow-up to the initial complaint and received email from Ms. Elsy Thomas from Whirlpool, Cochin, Kerala. The Refrigerator was serviced by Whirlpool Service Engineer shortly and they made me buy a brand new Stabilizer for Rs: 1500/-. Please note that this Whirlpool Refrigerator model has been Marketed & Sold as "Stabilizer Free Operation". The Service Engineer said - Every Whirlpool Refrigerator requires a Stabilizer, no matter what the Company says when they sell you the Product!!! Is it a cheap marketing tactic???
EVEN AFTER I BOUGHT THE STABILIZER FOR Rs: 1500/- FROM THE SERVICE ENGINEER, THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. The service Engineer just installed the new stabilizer and vanished. None from Whirlpool bothered to give a follow-up call/email to check if the problem was resolved!
I waited for couple of weeks for the follow-up call/email. Then I mailed Ms. Elsy Thomas from Whirlpool Cochin (from whom I received the initial email) and informed her about the problem. I clearly stated that even after spending Rs: 1500/- on the brand new stabilizer, the Refrigerator's problems were not solved. But there was no response at all, to any of my emails!!
Currently there is Profuse water leak inside the Refrigerator and it's just like a Cupboard to me. I've spent over 15,000/- on this Refrigerator + Stabilizer and couldn't use it even for a month properly. I have been dealing with Whirlpool Service Dept and the Dealer (Anuradha Agencies, Bendichal buiding, Bank road, Kasaragod) for over an year, to no avail!!
Request you to treat this Complaint as top priority and have some one "Responsible" to look at it as soon as possible. For your easy reference, I'm pasting the initial complaint, here.

i bought a whirlpool frost-free refrigerator ( model no. FF30 classic) from Anuradha Agencies, Bendichal building, Bank road, Kasaragod on 12th march 2008. it had complaints (no cooling , and water leakage from its rear) and when we complained about it, no action was taken for many days. We had to call up many places and complained to the higher authorities. At last, we got it replaced from Cochin on 27th June 2008.
Now the freezer is not working properly. When nothing is kept in it, it is cool enough. but if anything is kept in it, it gets spoilt. this problem is there for a few months now. please rectify the problem as soon as possible

Just two months back I had purchased whirlpool magic cook microwave family chef. Yesterday I was cooking rice but after seven minutes the turntable was cracked inside. I was surprised as I am using the microwave since 15 years. But unfortunately first time i hv seen like this problem. After that I had complained to customer service as per them they will charge the money for replacement. Money is not matter but your product quality is very poor. Today the engineer has come and he said that the turntable motor is defaulted. FYI I will not pay the money for replacement because what is guarantee of your any other part. I am also repeating that your product quality is very very poor. Just look into this matter and replace my microwave . After two months the basic part is defaulted that means the whole machinery is defaulted. I am requesting you kindly change the microwave with new otherwise you refund my money.
