Whirlpool has outsourced the AMC work to another company "Western Refrigeration Co" based out of Noida.

The whirlpool Split AC at my home was not properly cooling last month. In this regard I had lodged a complaint with Whirlpool Customer care and they send a engineer to fill the gas (20th April 2010). Once again the AC started showing cooling problem in the first week of May 2010.

In the meantime my AMC got expired on 3rd May 2010. I called up the Whirlpool Customer Care to renew the AMC and specifically asked to send the engineer only on Saturday or Sunday as on all other days I am busy in Office from 9 am till 10 Pm. Everytime the engineer used to call me on Weekdays and no one turned up on weekends.

Service request no : GB[protected] dated 7th May 2010.

I also kept calling Mr Amit (engineer who filled the gas) but he didn't responded to my call.

Meantime i went for holiday to my hometown. I again lodged a complain on 18th May (GB [protected]) for renewal of AMC. On Saturday (22nd May) I had to call up 4 to 5 times to whirlpool Customer care to ensure they send the engineer on Saturday. I also called several times to Western Refrigeration Co. to send the engineer when I came to know they will do the AMC.

When the engineer came and inspect the AC he said the nuts for the outer unit is not properly tighten and as a result gas has leaked which is impacting the cooling. I called up the Western Refrigeration Co to update on the issue. Initially, they declined to help me but after oral fight they agreed to send engineer on Sunday to refill the gas.

On Sunday the engineer refilled the gas and cleaned the net. For 10-15 minutes the AC worked fine but then again the problem resurfaced. I called up Mr Anurag in Wetern Refrigeration Co and he said he will get it fixed. Then I received a call from Mr Sunny from the same company and he told me that this could be because your compressor has tripped, shut the AC for 1 to 2 hours and then restart and it will work fine.

When I asked will he send the engineer if it does not work fine after 1 hour, he said then we will send engineer tomorrow (Monday), when I said I will not available between Monday to Friday he said let see what can be done.

At first I don't understand why they keep such an inexperienced engineers who can't fix issue. Do this foreign MNCs take Indian customer for grant as we do not have powerful consumer forum to take on them.

After spending 30K on AC and 2200/- annually on AMC i am having sleepless night.....

Hope this complain will have some impact on them.

Whirlpool — MAINTENANCE

I purchased whirlpool refrigerator dated 25/12/09 and the warranty period of 1 year of service is already expired. Refrigerator is demanding service again and again. So far I have already spent more than Rs 4000 for service in Aug 2011, again I am facing the same problem again. On 11th Feb 2012 when I was trying to lodged the complain to the service center they were not responding. The customer service person says that again the approximate expense amount should be Rs. 3000 which I need to pay again to resolve that issue.


The amount which I spent if I could add up Rs 2000 to 3000 more I can by a new refrigerator.


Please advice.

      I have purchased one Whirlpool Washing Machine, ABM 501, Professional ,5.0 kg (Front Loading) on 09/05/09 @Rs.16000/-+ Extra cost for Cover,Trolley,Iron Filter. But, it is out of order since 1st April,10.The axle & the drum are either to be repaired or replaced. I have sent feedback,e-mails to their 'help desk' but there is no reply by mail. However, they are only informing me over telephone that there are no spares & the subject model is no longer available/obsolete. In lieu of that, they are telephonically offering me one completely different Model(White Magic123 650 h,Top Loading) without any extra cost. Butt, when inquired from the local shop,it has been found that the Market Price of the same at present is Rs.14,300/- only which is much less than the original purchase price! Notwithstanding, I have repeatedly asked them to send me a letter indicating their 'terms & conditions' for their intended replacement. It is not understood why they are not sending me a written reply to my mails so that the deal is transparent & I might give my decision properly keeping records in black & white? Due to this dilly dallying attitude from a renowned world famous manufacturer, my house hold works are suffering a lot causing great labour & mental agony to all members of my family..

      WASHING MACHINE-PROFESSIONAL ABM501 — NOT WORKING

      I have purchased one washing mechine (Professional ABM 501) from M/s.Nandilath G Mart, Trivandrum on 04.07.2010. On 10.11.2010, just after one year and four months, the mechine started functioning with a aloud noise. I registered a complaint on the same day and received an SMS with satisfaction code:655 and SR number: CO[protected]. My complaint was allocated to one Mr.Sreejith and he visited my house on 15.11.2010. He pointed out that the drum was damaged and he will come soon to shift the mechine to service centre. But there was no further action. Several times i tried to contact the service person but I couldn't, as he was out of coverage area. On 25.11.2010, I contacted the Trivandrum service centre, and they advised me to wait for three days, that they will solve the problem. Since there was no response after seven days, I was forced to contact them again on 03.12.2010. And this time they advised me to visit them in person with bill and other related papers to take up the matter. Even after one month the problem was not solved, I am still continuing the primitive style washing with a fully automatic mechine in the cold storage. I expect a favourable action from your side at the earliest.

        Hello Every Body,

        This is Anil Kumar Vemuri working as Sr.Consultant in an American Based Company , Mob# [protected] .

        I'm lodgeing this complaint with bitter experience i had with TMC Dilsuknagar. I booked a Whirlpool 1.5 ton 3 star A/C on 12/05/2010 , Invoice# DS/1011/PI-830. The piece was deliverd to me on 14th May 2010 but to my surprize the box is has no Tag but packed with a packing plaster on it. On 15th May 2010 when the service persons came to my home and opened the box we found the piece already a used piece with oil leakages every where in side the box ,torn out rubbers and the small cover with in the box which had the user manual and the remote was already torn and cleaverly sticked up with the plaster again on it.

        When i called up the TMC dilsuknagar store manager MR.Namneet [protected] who initially argued with me that they donot deliver the already used defective piece to customer but once i went to store and brought home one of the guy from TMC Dilsuknagar to check the same he confirmed that the piece is already used and is a defective piece.

        Some how after speaking to one of the Sr.Manager MR.Raju [protected] ,who convinced me that he is going to deliver another piece but my family members where not at all ready to buy any products from TMC but where insisting to get the money back.

        I called up Mr . Namneet and informed and finally informed him that i would prefer to get the money back .

        *** This is inform all the reader that please be aware to this sought of already used defective pieces with are again circulated to other customers.****

        I have also taken the photo graphs of the defective already used piece to be on safe side .

          Hi,
          I had purchased refrigerator model no.11345 serial no.INA[protected] ON 23.10.08 in the reciept of Mr.Laxman Matani. Srishti Appt flat no.403.Parvati Bagla Road Kanpur.I called the sevice centre on 9th of september 2009 complaining there is no cooling in the rerigerator.They sent a engineer who said that gas was not proper supplied and this problem occurs in this double door refrigerators.It would b taken to the service centre.The single rickshaw man came to pick the fridge to which i refused to give from 4th floor.Some casualty happaned in our family and we could not look after to it.Then again i called the service centre again but could not get the numbers.sudenly i got the number now so again i complaied the same problem engineer came and said the fan is not working gas supply is proper.Now see both engineers opinion.Now kindly guide me and tell me please when this could be solved that too within warranty period you can say.Now its upto you that how you do it otherwise our old GODREJ fridge is still working in better condition thats why we did not feel SO MUCH PROBLEM IN THIS SUMMER SEASON.So kindly we seek your coperation as sooner as possible.thanking you.

            We had purchased Whirlpool Refrigerator in the year 2006. We also have AMC with Whirlpool Authorised Service Partner, M/s. GRK Enterprises till Jan, 2011.

            In the month of April, 2010 the handle of the Refrigerator broke. We lodged a complaint with M/s. GRK Enterprises(MB [protected]). However till date no one has responded or attended the complaint even after calling them numerous times. Presently the representatives of M/s. GRK Enterprises disconnect the phone on hearing the complaint.

            There is a total failure on part of M/s. GRK Enterprises in handling the Complaint and the services rendered by the Authorised Service Partner of Whirlpool is not as what was promised.

            We request you to kindly look in to the matter.

            whirlpool/refrigerator — After Sales Service

            My unit is out of order since 10th May'09. I have been getting false promises for changing compressor for past 2 weeks. There was NO CALL at all from anyone in Whirlpool despite my contacting their complete service team. Finally today they are suppose to rectify it but the attitude of their team is VERY INDIFFERENT. Contacted Top management, wrote mails but no response at all.

            Whirlpool/ refrigerator — unauthorized dealers

            i have a whirpool refrigarator which is 5yrs old. on 11.04.11 it stooped functionig,n calling up just helpline number i got a list of autorized service cenyers no. i called up one armaan electronics shop no 109, main market mata mandir, badarpur. phone no [protected]. the fridge was repaired the same day by changing the compressor and a bill of Rs 9950 was paid by me. subsequently it stopped working on 14.04.11 an d inspite of repeated calling up the armaan electronics have failed to repair my refrigarator. my request to whirlpool company is that to help me to get the fridge repaired and kindly look into the list o[censored]nauthorized dealers list which just dial helpline is providing to customers . this brings a bad reputation to the company

            Whirlpool Refrigerator — complaint against pathetic after sales service and no cooling

            Dear Sir,
            I regret to inform you that i had purchased a whirlpool refrigerator
            model no. R-2A-230 lt furon
            S.no IWC [protected] dated 4.4.2010 from ASHWINI AGENCIES lal bangla kanpur 7 vide cash memo no 62.
            At the time of purchase of refrigerator dealer confirmed me 5 yr warranty.
            Since last 7 days there is no cooling.so i had lodged a complaint bearing complaint no. LK [protected] dated 6.8 2011.Then they deputed Mr. Ansari to visit the same.
            After inspection of refrigerator he informed us that gas is choked due to some technical problem and we have to deposit amount of 1250/- to rectify the same even if it is under warranty.
            Looking in view of the above i would like to inform you that i have been cheated by whirlpool.
            So i request you to take necessary action against whirlpool and organize to attend the same by whirlpool without taking any charge for the same.
            An early action will be highly appreciated.

              On 6th May 2010 I have purchase one whirlpool refrigerator 180 ltr from Saravana Store ,T.Nagar. They are delivered the goods same day at 11:50PM. When they delivered the door was broken. I have inform immediately to them. After 2 days Whirpool engineer came and tell me to contact Saravana Store, I was inform them also, but still now they are not change parts or replace the refrigerator. Request to you please look in to the matter and take action ASAP.

                I have purchased one Whirlpool refrigerator from M/S Soundarya Digital Mall, Visakhapatnam vide voucher No SDM 454 dated[protected]bill No. 007302). The dealer has raised a bill for a 300 Ltrs fridge and also endorsed on its back side that a 300 Ltrs fridge is delivered but actually he has delivered a 280 Ltrs fridge only.

                On the fourth day after its installation the fridge has developed a problem and I have lodged a complaint with the call center on[protected] with complaint No 12078. Till to date the problem remains unsolved.

                At the time of purchase there is an offer of two Reebok watches along with the purchase of the fridge but till to date they are not delivered to me.

                Horrible service, not at all interested in providing further service to the customers after the good is bought. Seeking any service from the staff / management is mere waste of time. Every electronic good that they sell is at least in the price range of 30, 000 INR to 2 lakhs will all the goods having an warrenty period of not less than 3 years. Surprisingly they dont maintain the billing details beyond 1 year. The management is very reckless and are bothered till the customer pays the bill.

                Handling of the good while delivery is one more talent of this mall that the delivery boys are not even told to handle with care. literally the item is being thrown off the vehicle at the time of delivery. A sincere no to such shop keeps them know what is actually a customer service.

                  Very poor performance on the part of whirlpool side ( on after sales services part ) and I recommended as there is no need for customer care center as there people only passing the time and making befool to the customer.

                  I bought a whirlpool maxigerator 310 ltr fridge Sr. No. 12069 on dated[protected], bill no 5085 at a cost of Rs. 14800/= from M/s Asoka Trading Co, Shop no. 46-47. Sector-16 market, Faridabad-121002 (Haryana). ( TIN No. [protected] dated[protected]
                  On dated 9th April 2010 during cleaning of my house, I notice that there is heavy rusting on back side of the fridge body (at the joint near water collateral bucket) in the lower part of the fridge.
                  A complaint was registerd at Ashoka Ttrading co on 10th April.
                  Whirlpool sent me a SMS giving Service no HR-[protected] with one satisfaction code on 10th April at 19.57 HRS ON THE VERY SAME DAY.
                  Next day one service engineer Sh R. K. Yadav, of the whirlpool, attended the complaint at my residence and told me that there is a leakage / Busted in the defrost pipe line which carry water from inner tray to outside defrosted water collateral bucket and due to this water comes down along with lining of the fridge and causing the rusting.
                  Service Engineer also told me that he will mention all these are internal manufacturing defect in his report and replacement of the fridge will be recommended by him ( as this was a manufacturing defect so didn’t charge me anything ) and whirlpool will get in touch with me very shortly.
                  But till date 12th April, 2010 when I got no response from the whirlpool, I contacted at customer care center. From there I was given a local customer care representative’s name Ms. Tamnna and to contact her at land line no[protected]. Here Ms. TAMANNA told me that the Service Engineer from GURGAON will visit my house in the morning of 16th April, 2010.
                  Till 14.26 HRS when I got no response from whirlpool, I again spoke to customer care center, call was attended by Mr. Yogesh and then Mr. Taj and I was again given a Service No. HR-[protected] WITH A NEW SATISFACTION CODE. And also assured that service engineer will contact me within two hours. After two hours at 16.10 hrs, I again contacted to customer care center and call was attended by Mr. Manjeet. After talking 15 minutes he assured me that some person from whirlpool side will contact with me within half an hour, and he told me that there is a note written in my complaint that it is a case of Manufacturing defect. But no response has been received from whirlpool side.
                  At 17.00 hrs I again contacted customer care center and this time call attendant was Mr Mannu. After this and that he once again assuring me to wait for another half an hour, but after my regular request, he was ready to give me the cell no. [protected] of Mr. Parkashji ( AREA MANAGER )
                  Sh Parkashji was contacted at about 17.45 hrs on the very same day i.e. 16th April, 2010 and he assured me to visit himself with an Engineer at my residence on 17th April, 2010 at any time.
                  But after waiting upto 16.55 hrs. on 17th April, 2010, after a regular calling on 27 times on Mr. Parkashji’s cell no. he attended the call and once again he assured me that the service engineer will visit my residence along with camera to take the photograph of the rusted portion as this is a case of manufacturing defect and will replacement of fridge will be done.
                  Upto 19.00 hrs dated 17th April, 2010, once again there is no response from Mr. Parkashji or from Service Engineer.
                  At last Sh Parkashji visited my residence along with a Service Engineer Sh. Gulfam ( I think so ) and once again told me that this is a manufacturing defect and the FACTORY PEOPLE will give their opinion and after that the matter could be solved. And factory people will visit my house very soon. ( Once again, as this was a manufacturing defect so he didn’t charge me anything ) But till date i.e. on dated 01st May, 2010, no response has been received from the whirlpool side.
                  Today i.e. on 01st May, 2010 after calling 27 times at 12.30 Hrs., on the cell of Sh. Parkashji, Sh. Parkashji told me that I am ( Shekhar Soni ) very eager to solve the case and try to contact again and again on parkashji’s cell. And once again he told me that he is managing the things right and try his best for the visit of the factory people at earliest possible but till 18.00 Hrs there are no response from Sh. Parkashji.
                  See “THIS IS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE AFTER SALE SERVICE DEPARTMENT” and
                  at the same time I think there are no use of Customer care center, as they are also not well trained to reply / satisfy the customer. See today i.e. 1st May, 2010, when I try to contact the customer care center, call was attended by Mr. Rishabh and he once again allotted me, one more new complaint No. HR-[protected] and this time without satisfaction code.
                  MOREEVER nobody is ready to give the contact nos. of senior officer for further complaint or clarifications. By some or any how I got the Cell No. [protected] of Sh. Deepak ji. I tried my best to contact him at 18.00 hrs on 1st May, 2010 but he didn’t attend the call.
                  Then I try on internet, to get the address and contact nos of whirlpool office and Sr. officers. So that I could get in touch with Sr. officers to solve my problems. And I got the address of Whirlpool Corporate office at Gurgaon with landline no. on 1st may, 2010 a 22.00 hrs. and try to contact there on 2nd may, 2010 ( as on 2nd may it is SUNDAY )
                  I think such a big organization, “WHIRLPOOL”, don’t want to solve the problem, and as the whirlpool is having a team of REPUTED BIG-BIG PAID LAWYERS, who are competent and trained to demoralize the customer, hook or crook, if the customer tries to go to the CONSUMER COURT, and at last the customer will leave the matter unsolved, and thus this is the win of whirlpool/ lawyers and they solve the case.
                  THIS is a very shame full on the part of whirlpool and thus whirlpool could pay much and more from the cost of the product to lawyers but cannot satisfy their customer.
                  IN THE END before to enter in “the game of fight” in CONSUMER COURT,
                  “I WOULD LIKE TO ASK, IS THERE SOME BODY IN THE WHIRLPOOL WHO IS HAVING TIME TO listen me and to SOLVE MY PROBLEM and let me know what the problem is?. And why the customer care people are making delay in the case. If possible give me the contact nos. of any Sr. Officers so that at least I could talk and show my dishearted thoughts.
                  In between these days two three days Mr. Anurag rang me, and some body Mr Chouhan, so called engineer from co. visit my house and told me that all refrigerator of whirlpool having this type of rusting as there is very low temperature in this pipe and moisture on this pipe usually comes down along with the back wall of the fridge or free falls directly from pipe drop by drop from outlet o[censored]pper tray in the bucket placed at the bottom of the fridge. Mr. Chouhan ask me if I want he can send someone to pant the body.
                  I may be advise if this is the performance of “THE WHIRLPOOL” AND THIS IS THE REMEADY.

                  HOPE SOME BODY WILL at least CONTACT ME, may or may not be, to solve the problem.

                  whirlpool maxigerator — body of refrigerator

                  We have bought a 310L maxigerator new dark grey 3s and its product code is 11086. Several times we have repaired it as it want some thing or other after every few months.The body of the refrigerator is also deteriorating.We have complaint against it a few times earlier also ,but no serious reply uptill.

                    this is for your information that there service center in NOIDA is useless, insufficient and incompetent in many ways. they have NO POLICY for customer information. i gave a complaint on 28th April 2010 for my refrigerator, one technician came said gas problem, gas person came and said he can not locate problem, it has to go to workshop. it will take 24 hours we will rectify and return it. till date many call to their call center and many calls to service center i have no clue where my refrigerator is and it has been rectified or not. above these people have no way of talking. i have 3 yr old duaghter and she is at home and in this summer i can not keep milk, fruits or any eatable for her except junk food like chips or buiscuit. BECAUSE OF THEIR COMPANY MY FAMILY HAS GONE UNDER LOT OF PAIN AND HUMILIATION. THIS IS BIG INSULT TO THE COMPANY NAME. I HOPE THIS REACHES THE HIGHEST AUTHORITY. BUT I[censored] PROMISE SERVICE KINDLY SHOW AND TRAIN UR STAFF ABOUT THOSE QUALITY AND RIGHT OF INFORMATION.
                    IN END I AM REQUESTING THAT REPLACE MY REFRIGERATOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR RETURN MY MONEY BACK. THIS IS HAPPENING FROM PAST 2 YEARS WITH ME AND I HAVE PAID THOUSANDS ALREADY TO RECTIFY YOUR DEFECTIVE PIECE.

                      I had purchased a 450 litres Dlx(Professional) refigerator ( Model No. 11809)from Home Care Whirlpool factory outlet at 111,sector -4 Vaishali in Ghaziabad on 27 Feb 2010 on name of Mr Rakesh Goel. Thereafter new refrigerator was sent to Panipat to my brother . When engineer from Whirlpool customer care came to install the refrigerator ,he found that heat metal plate was missing ,since the cooling coils at the rear were getting covered with ice and top section of the refrigerator was not getting cooled .The complaint no. is HR[protected] . The customer care at panipat , even at Ghaziabad and Faridabad were approached and Mr Ghansham the owner of the Home care at Ghaziabad promised to send the spare part as early as possible ,but nothing has happened .Even we have told to pay for the item but the whirlpool customer care are unable to procure the abovesaid item .It is requested the matter may be looked into. I`m surprised that such a renowned company cannot send the spare even on payment , also that whether a check was carried out at the manufacturing unit for the serviceability of the refrigerator.Waiting for the quick response with email and required spare part .My contact mobile no [protected].                         Whirlpool does not have a price list of spare-parts of various models of washing machine.They do not have spares inventory at the service center which is probably sub-contracted.Even during AMC, the company does not give prompt service. I am listing below one of the complaint in original.

                        I have been having a problem with my washing machine, and had booked a complaint in March (Complaint number LKO[protected]. Later I lodged another complaint since no one took care of the first one (Number LKO[protected]. Everytime I call up the call center, I am told that the part is not available and that they have no idea when it will come in. I have called up the engineer and he too says the same thing. I have a Home Care plan that was taken on 25th Nov 2008, and will expire soon. I am afraid that if the part comes after the plan expires, I will be asked to pay up.

                        The call center people dont even know where in Kanpur the service center is in. If they tell me the address maybe I can go and file a complaint.

                        This issue is getting on to my nerves, and if this time nothing is done, I will go to the Consumer Court.

                        I am also having problem in my Whirlpool washing machine and the charges told by the technicians is Rs 3800 or more, however he has taken 275/- as visiting charges.I fail to understand how Rs 3800 are required for a product costing only Rs 11000.The service personnel also does nor have a service rate list and spare parts list.

                          Dear sir,

                          In May 2009, we have bought a Whirlpool's Semi Automatic Washing Machine from M/s. Tirumala Music Centre, Malakpet, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

                          On 22.04.2010, we noticed that, water not getting drained out from Dryer Tub.

                          Likely, we have reported the problem to M/s. Tirumala Music Centre, Malakpet, Hyderabad on 22.04.2010 who have registered the complaint.

                          Subsequently, at 1.07 pm on 23.10.2010, have received an SMS from WOIL stating " " Thanks for registering with Whirlpool. Your Satisfaction Code is : 463 for SR Number HD[protected] to speak to us call on 60008558 or [protected] "

                          The said problem was attended by one Mr. Prabhu who has identified a Hair Band objecting the water flow from Drain Tub.

                          While using for the first occassion ( on 02.05.2010 ) post above rectification, we noticed, water getting seeped into Wash Tub ( when water selector was directed to Dryer Tub ).

                          When tried reaching Whirlpool's Toll Free number, a recorded message suggested to contact between 8 am to 8 pm on working days.

                          Likely on 03.05.2010, another complaint was registered vide following details

                          SR Number : HD[protected]

                          Problem Reported : Water Seeping into Wash Tub when water selector was directed to Dryier Tub

                          Reported To : [protected]

                          Date of Reporting : 03.05.2010

                          SMS Received at 6.45 pm stating " Thanks for registering with Whirlpool. Your Satisfaction Code is : 703 for SR Number HD[protected] to speak to us call on 60008558 or [protected] "

                          The said problem was attended on 04.05.2010 by one Mr. Reddy ( who visits without informing his time of visit - not provided his contact details even ) who informs my father in law that there is a manufacturing defect and hence the body needs to be replaced. No future course of action advised.


                          Having agonised by the way the call was attended by Mr. Reddy and Problem remaining unresolved, had lodged another complaint vide following details

                          SR Number : HD[protected]

                          Problem Reported : Water Seeping into Wash Tub when water was directed to Dryier Tub

                          Reported To : [protected]

                          Date of Reporting : 05.05.2010

                          SMS Received at 10.44 am stating " Thanks for registering with Whirlpool. Your Satisfaction Code is : 092 for SR Number HD[protected] to speak to us call on 60008558 or [protected] "

                          It is more than 52 hours ( at the time of sending this mail ) that, no one contacted us till this moment.


                          In view of all the above, would request you to depute your technician immediately and ensure that the problem is resolved.

                            Sub: Complain Regarding Refrigerator out of Order Under Warranty Period.

                            Sir/Madam,

                            It is stated I purchased a Worlpool Fusion Refrigerator on 1st March 2009 from M/s. Razzle Dazzle Electronic, 15, Vigyan Vihar, Opp. HDFC Bank, Delhi – 110092 vide their Receipt No. 73 Bill No. 3635.

                            The same refrigerator became out of order in April after expiry of comprehensive Warranty. But your company keep relationship for life with the 5 (1+4) year Warranty. I registered a complained with your Service Call Centre on 24.04.2010 vide complain Registration No. SR: DL[protected]. Service Engineer visited on 25.4.2010 and told that Core Board will be changed on 28.04.2010. But my refrigerator is not repaired so far.

                            I enquired several times from your Service Call Centre regarding the same, but I receive only falls assurance that my refrigerator will be repaired shortly. Every time they told me that part is not available in service centre, as and when part will be available the same will be repaired.

                            Here, I would like to know if you are not suppose to provide post sale service then why promise for the same for 5 years warranty. It is requested, kindly look in to the matter for repairing my refrigerator at the earliest. Otherwise you advise what I have to do in this hot summer season.

                              I paid an advance of Rs 19890/- on 19th April 2010 vide Bill no -T24/22478 for a Whirlpool 1 Ton Split AC.I was assured that it would be delivered within a week.But I am still awaiting the delivery. I called up the shop at JL Nehru Road Kolkata . I have registered a complaint ( no. 53767 dated 1st May 2010). Inspite of all that the product has not reached me yet If at all there was any likelihood of delay , i should have been informed about this at the time of purchase.Same was not done. I feel cheated and harrased.I have a gut feeling that there is an absence of any mechanism which deals with Customer inconveniences.Future retail is a big organisation. In this time of cut throat competetion, for its survival its essential they must look into Customer related problems.

                              I request you to take action against all those who are responsible of all the hardships i have faced till now OR Make arrangemnts for the refund of the amount with interest to me after cancellation of the order placed by me.

                              Whirlpool 1 Ton Split Ac — Poor service support

                              I bought a 1 ton Whirlpool split AC from Viveks at Purasawalkam, Chennai on 17th April 2007(Bill No: [protected]). Even before four months, there is a noise coming from the in-door unit. I was unable to use the AC because of the high pitched noise. So I called up Vivek service centre on 7th July and was informed that it will take 72 hours to attend to my complaint. I was shocked that for a machine that was only 4 months old and well within warranty a customer should wait for such a long time period. Even after 4 days of my complaint they have not attended to the repair which is highly disappointing.

                              Hope you will be able to do something about it.

                                Whirlpool Refrigerator — malfunctioning fridge

                                From November 2 2008 I have been trying to get whirlpool in pune to come look at my fridge. the call center and the service center are a bad joke, i wont waste reader time talking about their inefficiency, rudeness and plain stupidity.
                                later, i managed to get hold of the numbers of some engineers in the company, who took forever to figure out the problem. i had to take several days of leave and hang around at home for their visits. finally they took the fridge away, and after a whole month, came back with it saying they just couldnt figure out what was wrong. i am within the warranty, but these people have the temerity to say "oh but you have used the fridge for 5 years, and the warranty is only for the compressor"
                                so anyone planning to buy whirlpool, remember this:
                                the warranty is not at all of any use
                                the company's reps are rude and inefficient
                                the engineering department is clueless
                                the MD never replies to mails - he coulnt care less

                                fellow consumers, surely our hard earned money can be spent on a less arrogant and more efficient company - luckily there are many choices out there

                                I bought the exact same model in 2003. It worked for a few years- and then the problems started. Whirlpool is unable to fix the problem and unwilling to do anything to help. I'm tired of calling their customer care and launching complaints. Currently, my refrigerator has not been functioning for the last 6 months. I was forced to buy a replacement.

                                I'm very unsatisfied with my Whirlpool refrigerator and will never buy any of their products again. I want to just get rid of my refrigerator which is taking up space in my home and gathering dust.

                                I am going to start legal proceeding against Whilrpool.

                                I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator and the ice maker went out and was leaking into my dinning area that I hardly use. When I noticed the leak we called the Lowes where we bought it, and they replaced the refrigerator promptly. Then I noticed that my whole dinning room rug was soaking wet. I am awaiting a claims adjuster today, my dinning room wall is wet 6inches high, but the worst may be my wood cabinets, if the wood starts cracking.
                                I believe this is a known defect by the Whirlpool company. I do not want another Whirlpool applaince in my home. I have a double oven, a stove top, a dishwasher, and microwave.that are all whirlpool, I wiil not buy another Whirlpool appliance. My home is 13 months old and I'm hoping I do not have to replace a wall in the dinning room and my wood cabinets.
                                BE WARE OF THEIR REFIGERATORS!

                                  Whirlpool service center are very careless and not intrested at all to solve the problem of their product also they don't bother about urgency of the service , i registered my complain (AH[protected] ) regarding problem in compressor in our whirlpool refrigerator in last month , till date service level is not satisfactory even the persons are not able to find the real problem and availability of the person for the service is also big headache which involved rigourous follow up through the call ( Sometimes we have to visit personally at service centres ) and now they are telling story to take refrigerator at workshop for 2 days to repair , ultimately we are fed up and feel that we made very wrong decision that we bought whirlpool refrigerator.

                                      I have buy a refrigerator 15th of June 2008 from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd.(290, G.T. Road, Kazipara More, Howrah - 711102).
                                      Model of the fridge : Whriopool Mastermind 26 Elite
                                      At the time of delivery there was a physical damage and they replaced it immediately. But the new one is not working properly at the time when they installed. I requested them for several time for replacement of the same but they did not entertained. It is near about 2 years and company's engineer suppose to come 7 to 8 times for rectification of the same, they rectified but the refrigerator making different different problem from time to time.
                                      Lastly, I have lodge complaint in the end of Mar'10 regarding the cooling problem, which was in the initial phase. An Engineer came and told there was a major fault. They take it back to their ware house for repair on 10 th April,10 and today is 3rd of May'10 I did not got my refrigerator back as they telling there was a major fault. If rectification takes one month time then every body can imagine how much defective this refrigerator?

                                      Dear Sirs,
                                      On[protected] I had purchased a refrigerator Model:310Elite (310CT) through its authorised dealer: M/s. Great Eastern Appliances (P) ltd, 20 Old Court House Street, Kolkata - 700001.Ph[protected]/22318203, vide DHFCH No.0609 dated[protected].

                                      During Installation i saw the following defects which was complained to both the dealer & manufacturer of the product:
                                      1. Door is dented.
                                      2.Water is leaking in the bottom.
                                      3. No 4-star label is pasted on the refrigerator, which assures the low-power consumption, which I have seen in the display model of showroom.

                                      The above complaints have been recorded by a letter dated[protected], acknowledged by the dealer on[protected].
                                      Again the above complaint have been registered by Whirlphool India by Docket Complaint No. KL[protected]. Till now no action have been taken by any authority.

                                      Thus I request you for registering the complaint and do the needful.

                                      I purchased whirlphool microvave oven of 22liter, convection model fro Maharaja Electronic Raipur(authorized dealer of Whirlphool) on 2.01.2009. Bill no.4826 challen no 4561. Initally it work well but after six month I find a problem in microvave. I filled a complaint to whirlphool customer care throug Maharaja Electronics on 11/07/09. firstly one nontechnical person comes after three of fore day and forward complaint to service center. After that service center did not contact with me for the progress. I repadely contact to service center at raipur and maharaja as well. But nodody is confirming when it will be repair. I a very disappointed with the service of Whirlphool. After 20 days I am not getting any response from that side.I will never suggest anybody to puchase any home appliance from the same company.

                                      Refrigerator - Twin door - Delight Model - INA[protected] went under out of order on 26.12.2009. complaint lodged on27.12.2009 thro call center . Complaint No.44224.Inspite of my repeated follow up the problem was not rectified by any of your people. I regret very much for giving first choice in selecting your Refrigerator. I will not do such mistakes in future. Customer service is very poor.This equipment was purchased in 2007 and it was working for almost 21/2 years. Now the gas is leaking, I do not understand how the refrigerator can fail within 2 1/2 years. Why i am quoting this, I was having a Allwyn Refrigerator which was working for more than 12 years.                                       i am exrterme disappointed with ur service provided to customers.i would ike to inform u again that my refrigrator wasn't working from 23rd..and my compliant still not resolved yet.my refigerator is at service centre from more than 10 days but still they are saying compressor not available.if this is the response i would not take my fridge back.u just keep it up with u and please refund the money.i would like to buy a new one only.ur response is extremely bad.From past one month i m worried and no proper action is taken from ur side...

                                      Whirlpool India — Damaged/Defective fridge delivered

                                      We have bought a Refrigerator 6th Sense(Working Nonsense) in Jan2010.After a Several Followup the company representative came for Installation. Packings were opened in fridge delivered.Informed the dealer that the pack was open at one side. There were some scratches found and informed the dealer.They have asked us to wait till the company Representative visits for Installation.We have asked the company person to replace the firdge due to visible damages.However, he said that the same will be escalated to his higher ups who will do the needful.There were close to three persons who came asn said the same thing.Till now the Fridge has not been used by us wanting for replacement. We have even asked them to give a written confirmation regarding damages if they cannot replace it.They are scared and when informed them that we would take it to the consumer forum they said the consumer forum do has a lot of similar complaints.We would request you to ne necessiate some actions against the the CO and its callous attitude employees.

                                      I am manikyam, from banglore, i bought fridge on[protected], model no8264 and serial no: INCO44309838, m facing a problem with cooling and i called to VIVEKS showroom wr i bought they r not ready help us only, again today i called to dem, they r saying we cant come to ur home to do the service and all, wat ever u want u can do.. and this is not fair also wen we rae buying that time u gave 7yeasy warrenty with service but now ur not and like this ur giving customer service, so plz do the needful ASAP.

                                      I have buy a refrigerator 15th of June 2008 from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt.Ltd.(Garia Branch) on 31.07.2010. The new one is not working properly at the time when they installed. water was dropped for the guscate of the upper compartment & the hinges of lower compartment makes noise. the problame was also noticed by the company's engineer on 10.08.2010. I requested them for several time over phone for replacement of the same and they evertime tales that the machine will be replaced by new one and the approval slip is ready for the replacement, but the model is not available. At present they are not also receiving the mobile calls. how long we have to wait for the same?

                                      I ashish sahu bought a refrigerator[protected] Ice Magic on 25 March 2015. I don't realize the it is a defective piece after 3 months I found that the door is not properly closed the cool air passing out from doors upper section, the rubber is not proper set.

                                        I have bought your fully automatic washing machine (650H) but no body informed me that I will not get any service from whirlpool. I have bought machine in Jan 2010 and there on the problem start. I need to chase your Engineer and customer service guys for service. Your product is defected and when ever i have called in call centre they assign engineer and your engineer never comes on time and he always has some excuse, it seems that whirlpool is not at all focusing on their customer. All the engineers who have visited my place, has confirmed me about the draining defect.
                                        You product and service both are not appropriate and i am not happy at all. I am also working in MNC in a senior position and i have used the almost all the brand but i have never faced such problems..

                                        Kindly provide replacement of your product on priority and confirm the same.
