I bought the 6th Sense refrigerator from Whirlpool about a year back. Now I am facing probelms - insufficient cooling. Food and vegetables go stale. First the service team came and changed sensor and charged me. After 4 days the probelm repeated. I again complained and after multiple followups then came and said it was the gas problem. After multiple escalations, they came fo filling the gas. They replaced the gas and in less than 48 hrs the problem is repeating. In less than 2 weeks the team has come twice but problem is not resolved. I am at pains to go thru this - and for the flagship product the 6th sense. I would be grateful if people can tell me who in Whirlpool will be able to solve this problem.

Service has been pathethic and the Whirlpool team least responsive. 6th sense has turned out to be non-sence and nuisance now.

I made a complaint to Whirlpool regarding non working of my old refrigerator on 21/09/07. At that time their service engineer came & told that gas needs to be filled. He filled the gas & charged Rs. 1200 for that.

Now after 1 month, again the refrigerator is not working, after contacting them again now they are saying that compressor needs to be changed whose cost is Rs. 2500.

Iam not crazy that within the warranty of servicing i need to put an amount of 3700 on an old refrigerator. if their service engineer would have told me this thing in his first visit, i would have not gone for servicing instead i would purchase a new one.
I found the services of Whirlpool very very bad & not conformimg to the standards in the industry.
I want prompt action on this issue as the refrigerator is of no use now. Either refund my money back or solve the fault otherwise consumer forum is the only way for me.

I have whirlpool refrigerator, taken around 4 years back. now my frize compresser is not working properly. Ice & water cooling is not proper, even water never got cool.

I am facing similar trouble. I have been advised by service engineer to replace gas and pay 1400 for the same. The compressor is not getting on at all. I have refused for gas filling as compressor may need replacement and needs to be checked before. Please guide me what way I should proceed?

I brought the 350 litter whirlpool refrigerator four years before with an AMC for seven years. My customer id is 4810390. It goes to repair every six months and last on 31.01.09 it was totally gone out of order and was taken to whirlpool service centre, repaired and delivered back on 08.02.09. Today again it is not working. It is a deffective piece and you are requested to replace the same as early as possible. Usally refrigerator work with out any problem for more than 8 years. It is 100% true that it is deffective piece so please replace the same.
I purchased a new 405 ltr refrigerator from Whirlpool in march 2009 but in just 2 months time it started giving problem . despite 2 complaints being lodged with the company in this regard, no satisfactory repairs have been carried out.

I made a complaint against my refregerator at your No[protected] on 27.06.2009. Your service centre in Delhi Handa Refregeration, Ramesh Nagar, New Delhi is not providing proper service.
The engineer visited our house on 28.06.2009 and replaced the REPAIRED PART MODIFIED MODULE on 28.06.2009. But after the engineer left the house, the same problem arised anf the fridge is not working now. I immediately contacted your service centre M/S Handa Refrigeration who promised to send the engineer.

FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT WHETHER THE COMPANY IS REPLACING THE NEW PART OR OLD REPAIRED PART (MODIFIED MODULE).

refrigerator + whirlpool — non availability of sensor

I have purchased whirlpool refrigerator 2 years bck. It went out of order. The sixth sensing element not working. I asked the service centre. They informed that the semsor is not available for open sale. If service engineer comes they will charge a service charge of about Rs 600/= + cost of sensor say Rs 200. Pl inform how to get the sensor in the market say genuine spare part.
Referigerator is not working.
I have bought Whirlpool Double Door Refrigerator 350 Liters. I also have a Service Contract bought for 5 years (Annual Maintenance Contract).
There was a fire in the upper compartment on 7th Sept'10, I logged a complaint with Whirlpool Customer Care Complaint No. HR[protected],
The complaint is still pending with Whirlpool due to non availability of part, As per Whirlpool the model is obselte as its appx 7 years old. Only solution they offer is refund of AMC & discount on new refrigerator. without any Written confirmation

    The purity of the water from the purifier was found to be at a higher TDS count than that of the tap water surprisingly true,even though the pressure of the water in the tap is good, but the installation guy told us that it was not enough for the water purifier to run at its desired efficiency this is ridiculous as a machine supposed to cost around 15000 INR shows problems which are so pathetic and they make you feel cheated .

      PROTON PROTON PROTON (ROTTEN) the so called new refrigerator product of Whirlpool is one of the worst ever product I have bought. After buying this product I have a new guest coming to my place daily first Service engineer, then his boss, then his Area Service Engineer. To my dismay even the Qulaity team from factory also landed at my house to figure out the problem as if the product which I have bought is Beta ( Under R & D ) product. The conversation I had with engineers were that yes sir few PROTON refrigerator are having these problem. They even clicked photograph of Refrigerator and my house was that like some place where murder has happened and crime brach is visiting the scene.

      Utimately quite reluctantly they replaced the frigde which was just 10 day old ( as if I will be getting some commission in replacement & they will be making heavy losses).

      Replacement arrived agter 3 days and after 24 hrs I found that cooling is not happening and after I called up the customer care ( most laziest & non reponsive ) the simple answer given to me that this pecie also require replacement.         We have purchased whirlpool fully automatic machine in 2009 July. Within 15 months I had to register complaints for 6 times. Every now and then some or the other part fails and functions stop. I doubt this company has any quality control department or not? Do they have qualified engineers to design their products? Do their seniors bother about the number of complaints coming from the same customer?

        Whirlpool fully automatic washing machine — damage of gearbox

        hi i am judge -in-charge of civil court chatra district in jharkhand. i complain a many times my complain no is 08622 dated 26/11/10 and 01514 dated 6/12/10. but all are said i have no gear box so i can not do any thing.
        i complain to the near retailer PAWANSUT ELECTRONIC HE ALSO COMPLAIN A MANY TIMES but after four month my washing machine is not repair by any member of engineer so kindly do somthing to me for this problem. my contact no is [protected].

          I have a Whirlpool 350 Litre Refrigerator bought 5 years back. To my dismay, Whirlpool has replaced almost EVERY SINGLE replaceable part in the machine, then given me a FREE replacement from their Pondicherry factory and again on the replaced fridge - they have repaired almost all parts excluding plastics. The final nail is that they have to replace the compressor 2 weeks back!!!. After that, still fridge isnt working.

          The customer complaint centre is a bunch if rookie jokers by itself as they keep referring the same service engineer. WHen asked for escalation of complaint, they lied about and escalated to the same SERVICE Engineer!!!! what a joke.

          The service engineer finally told us "sir, this 350 Litre Elite model" is a failure and they stopped production. You wont get any service also!!!

          What a blunder !

            I had purchased Whirlpool RO purifier on May 2009, also i have taken AMC on July 2010, but still my RO purifier is unserviced. From 2 months i have complained for filter replacement, but no one from whirlpool is looking into it. i have called around 100 times to service center and customer care, but no response. i dont what should i do?

            Whirlpool Service is Pathetic. I appeal to people NOT TO BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS.

            Worst Product of Whirlpool
            I had taken WhirlPool RO purifier before one year back and we can not bellive it that we have changed almost each part of Purifier. There are four types of Filter in RO Purifier..Post-Sediment, Pre-Carbon, Post-Carbon and RO Membrane Filter. Therefore, all these filters are changed within year and if you call customer care and raise your complain after that you have to call n number of times then engineer will visit your home. In last month when Membrane were going to change on that we have asked to replace the Machine because in every two months we are finding new problem and we were continously asking to change but they did not change but they offer us FREE AMC for one year because to show that how much there product is good and i was said on that time i am not happy with this because i know your product is not good so change to new one.

            Now After one month complete pump system and supply chain stop to working. Just imagine all four filters are changed already and complete pump system is also corrupted. In my RO Purifier system only plastic body is not yet changed apart of all parts are like LOCAL PRODUCT...sorry to say..even local machine is better than WhirlPool.

            I was taken this ro system in rs.12500/ and spend rs.4000/ within year..now they are asking 3000rs more for changing PUMP SYSTEM..Now just think, do you want to invest rs.17500 in year along with lot of tensions and high blood pressure and harassments. I was comparing that if i take bisleri water than it will cost to me 7200rs. I am blaming my self why did i choose this product and have taken this much tension.

            I do not want to take any individual name of person whom i interacted because i found there are some people are good but maximum people are actually not deserve to be there. But before two days back Mr. Ronika Dua was said to me that she will discuss this issue with her VP to replace my machine but as she does not want to spoil her company image. She did not come to us, now what we can say.

            Even i have called many times in their corporate office but no body pick up the call in one go. You need to make so many calls after that someone picked up the call than i left my massage to Mr. Atul Mathul Service head to call me but no reply.

            I really wanted to do against this people because they take very lightly to any customers. They need to understand customer's issue but they do not.

            I want to launch complain against them.

            Whirlpool RO Purifier — Manufacture Defect

            After 1 Year o[censored]sage facing lots of problem, the company suggest to change the membrane which cost nearly Rs. 2000 but it won't last more than one month. May be the membrane has manufacture defect, but the company is not ready to confront the fact and is ignoring. According to them, I need to purchase it again and install a new one. Is that really the thing is to be worked? What happen if the new one may be another defect? later I search for reviews for this company but I only get bad response against this company.
            I had made a bad decision regarding this product purchase. Hope you don't be fooled just like me.

              Dear Sir,

              I am keen to understand and also waht to know what should i do in case where a washing machine catches fire, and the company is not taking the complaint seriously.

              I am keen in understanding what were the safety mechanism for a washing machine which is practically a safe home applicance. Interrestingly the company is putting all the blame on us. Sir, how many cases of such incident normally happens i have not heard any. Please advise.

                sir/madam,

                i purchased a refrigerator of Whirlpool a year and a half ago. but it became my biggest nightmare.

                i purchased it from :

                the first breakdown happened within 3-4 months of purchase which was rectified by an engineer from the company. but the same problem occurred within a months time again.

                engineers from the company had already serviced my refrigerator 5 times for the same problem. 3-4 times within the warranty period and 2-3 times it was a paid service.
                next time the problem occurred within 24 hours of the service. and this time i was told that its a manufacturing defect and it has to be send to the service center.

                My refrigerator had already been to company service center 3 times but with no results.

                My complaint numbers are :

                DL[protected], DL[protected], DL[protected], DL[protected], DL[protected],DL[protected]

                After my complaint on 2.10.10 I was told that there will a Quality Check Visit from the company since it’s a manufacturing defect and cannot be rectified. Since then I am waiting for a quality check from company side. Despite my n number of calls to the customer care I am always told that engineers will be coming soon.

                I had been in contact with these executives at customer care who had been neglecting my repeated complaints.

                  I bought a 3 door refrigerator from whirlpool 12 Aug 2010.
                  This appliance cought fire
                  with its circuit and display. There was a football size flame.
                  After that the refrigerator is not working. Repair man came and
                  could not repair.

                  This machine is bought on 12 August 2010 and since then three
                  complains are made of not working properly. Not proper service.

                  When I call service centre they keep tuturing me by giving various
                  STD numbers. I keep spending STD bills and keep calling and telling
                  my problem to whirlpool service centre, replacement centre & various whirl
                  pool numbers with STD call bills.

                  But nothing happening only false promises of replacements they say call after vacation, holidays, etc. I have paid 28 thousand for the fridge and living with a NOT working
                  refrigerator of whirlpool since more than one month.

                  It is a basically harrasment and health hazard product from whirlpool.

                    I have purchased new fridge from Whirlpool & facing problem in warranty period.

                    Problem Details:- As per Invoice product is in warranty when i log complaint. After engineer visit & diagnose he confirm compressor is dead & need to be replaced but installed compressor is not our company, so it will not comes under warranty.

                    When product is in warranty why we will replace any component ? As per dealer where we purchase the product he did not install the other compressor.

                    Now i request you to check & confirm what sr# compressor, was suppled by you & if it changed at dealer end take some serious action.

                    Else if installed compressor was suppled by you instruct your engineer to replace the same.

                    Whirlpool India — complaint no -DL0810029235 dt.29th Aug'10

                    I had taken AMC for maintaining the washing machine, which includes free replacement of parts. Despite this company asking for money for many parts.
                    I paid advance of Rs 2750/- on 29/0810 with a promise that machine will be taken to their authorised service centre, M/s Gemini Home appliance & Services, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi, and will be returned within a week.
                    machine is not returned yet even after 20 days and no definite answer given by helpline
                    Same had happened earlier also

                      SUBJECT: LACK OF RESPONSE AND DISSATISFACTORY SERVICE

                      Re: Washing Machine WPL White magic FSAN652GB[protected]



                      The above mentioned product was purchased on 23/08/2008 .

                      - The machine stopped working and complaint was registered following which an engineer-Deepak Tiwari visited on 17/09/2010 and informed that PCB needs to be changed;

                      - PCB changed by the above mentioned engineer on 23/09/2010 . Cost incurred = ` 3500 (cost of the part) + ` 285 (visiting cost).

                      - Machine again stopped working on 03/10/2010 and a complaint was registered on 05/10/2010 . The complaint was again allocated to Deepak Tiwari and a visit was requested at the earliest. However the engineer couldn’t visit on planned date, i.e. 07/10/2010 , which was thereafter postponed to 10/10/2010 and further to 11/10/2010 . All this while I kept waiting for someone to attend to the complaint and spoke to Sheetal, followed by calls to Eliza on 11/10/2010 at[protected] and 66750338. When I raised the issue of the faulty spares, lack of timely service and the repeated visiting costs, Eliza assured me that I would receive a call within an hour and the complaint would be resolved.

                      - Despite my repeated attempts to contact someone at[protected] and 66750338 again today to seek the resolution of the complaint no one has so far answered the phone. Spoke to someone at the contact centre again today and given the same reply without any commitment. Also, when I finally managed to speak to Deepak Tiwari, Service engineer on 12/10/2010, he advised that the PCBs are out of stock and the one he was going to connect in my machine has already been used.

                      I am extremely perturbed and annoyed at the lack of responsiveness and service delivery at your end. It seems that the spare parts Whirlpool is now using in the machines are unreliable and faulty (quite evident from the fact that when the PCB was changed about a fortnight back by the engineer, one out of the two PCBs brought by him conked off !! just after initiating the connection).

                      Also, there seems to be more stress on getting customers to take up the AMC rather than addressing the complaints. It’s ridiculous to incur a cost of ` 3785 on getting one part changed for a machine that costs only 5 times!! more so, when the machine again stops working within 10 days of rectifying the problem.

                      It's been 10 days and I fail to don’t understand the reason why the complaint has not been attended to so far.

                      The apathy towards the customer is totally uncalled for in the context mentioned.



                      Still hoping to receive a response and resolution.

                          Whirlpool/Washing Machine — Advertisement Commitment not fulfilled

                          I had purchased a Whirlpool washing machine from E zone store in K stars mall, Chembur, Mumbai on Monday 21st Sep 09 as there was an offer of assured gift on purchase of Whirlpool product.
                          this offer has been extensively advertised on TV and all other media like newspaper etc.

                          Its been more than 15 days and I am yet to receive the gift.

                          On repeated inquiry and follow up with store , I have been told that delay is due to stock not received from Whirl pool company and I should lodge complaint with Whirl pool customer care.
                          I called Whirlpool customer care, and they said that they can not help and I should contact the Whirl pool head office.
                          I contacted the whirl pool head office on multiple occassion and I have been just directed to other department or call put on hold.

                          This is a case of communication by company to increase sales by luring customers to exciting offers and not fulfilling the same. Such malicious practices should be stopped as this leads to wrong purchase decision by customer and also mental harrassment.

                          I would like to inform you that I have made a very wrong decision to purchase the WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE.

                          I had purchased White Magic Sr.No.INB[protected] in the month of Aug'08 through your dealer Jain Traders,at Thane.

                          The dealer had promptly delivered the machine in time & also your person had came for DEMO at that time.

                          The newly machine had worked properly for few months ( 2/3 months )till this time I was happy that I had choose the good washing machine,but the happiness has turned into a nightmare with in few months.

                          The machine started to make noise & while taking a spin round stared to shake & making more noise.

                          Immediately I had complained about the same & your person from service centre visited & made some correction in the machine & assured that every thing is alright.

                          But with in few days it stared shaking & making noise again.

                          This time again after making complaint the person had visited the place & the same old story repeated.

                          Again after few days it started making noise & this time your person had told me that the machine will be replaced & accordingly after few days he had delivered the new machine ( INA[protected]& taken away the old one.

                          The new machine worked properly for few months but stared giving the trouble as earlier.

                          This time also your person from the service centre visited my place at least 6 to 7 times to resolve the complaints of the same nature.

                          Every time he had made some corrections in machine such as changing or fitting belt,fitting some rods etc.which I technically do not understand.

                          But what I understand is that I had made a WRONG DECISION to purchase the WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE.

                          Now 2 days back the machine made a new type of sound & immediately the complaint was made.

                          Your person from service centre had visited & checked the machine & at that time it did not made any noise & told us to call if any problem persists.

                          Today morning the machine stops completely & immediately complaint was made.

                          Your person had checked & told us that he will send the other engineer within a day or two as the machine will be opened completely to see & resolve the problem.

                          I have purchased the washing machine to have the peace of mind, but WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE had given me a lot of mental agony & headache.

                          Previously I had used VIDEOCON Washing machine for 10 yrs & it never gave any sort of trouble.

                          I got trapped by the false advertise of the WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE & purchased it.

                          I hereby request you to look into the matter & see that no other person is trapped by giving wrong/faulty product.

                          I will be very much thankful to you if you send some one to collect the machine so that I can get a peace of mind.

                            Firstly I would like to express my foolishness in going for a Washing Machine made by Whrilpool company. I have purchased a Automatic Washing machine Model "WHITEMAGIC" 123 650P on[protected]. Since then every few days i am facing one or other problem with regard to electrical, drain in or out etc. I was frustrated complaining such problems every often and in my opinion, I have not seen such a inferior product till now.

                            Regarding the after sales service. I rate this company as one of the worst service they have. We have to plead and request and then after a week or so their service engineer will come for diagnosing the problem and later, he will further take few days to rectify the problem.

                            I have a old mother at my home and she cannot wash the clothes in hand. Now buying this washing machine has become a curse in disguise. Everytime I face problem, I have to literally loose my patience and bark at the call centre executives. But in vain still the service is getting worse day by day.

                            Now I want atleast to move this item from my home. Whether they give compensation or replacement it is their wish. But I dont want this item at my home which distrubing me every often, which results losses in my business for lack of concentration.

                            I dont bother going for a new machine of other brand for eg. Samsung. Before buying above machine, I had Samsung machine, which I used for almost 7-8 years without single complaint.

                            I wish to inform all the consumers to not to go for any appliances made by WHRILPOOL. Which will make our life miserable.

                            Whirlpool Washing Machine — Pathetic casual attitude of Whirlpool India, Chennai

                            I am painfully disturbed by the extremely pathetic service of Whirlpool in Chennai, India. I have a complaint no 12848 and the service engineer who came three days ago (9th Sept 09) promised to replace a spare part (purchased Whirlpool Washing Machine during June 2008) and till date nothing has happend. I spend almost half a day to call up their service center and I get stand by music and useless automatic responses with numbers to dial in English etc.. I have till now made as much as 50 calls but in vain. Whirlpool seems not to worry about their customers after the product is sold (when they promise everything under the sun). Whirpool does not seem to have any healthy trait of a multi national company or ethics or even the basic courtesy and I would like this complaint to be shown to the Board of Directors and the CEO and Manging Director, if they/he, in the least, have/has any moral obligation to respond to this complaint. I would like your good offices to take this up seriously and customers like us who make a life time capital investment like this are taken for a royal ride by these so called multi nationals. I changed by washing from IFB (which is another story- I do not know who is better or worse!) to Whirlpool with a sincere hope that this product would be relatively better. All original parts are slowly replaced by these service centers and I frankly do not know if they are genuine parts as I am not even quite knowledgebale and we believe these companies in good faith. I do not know if your good esteemed institution could device a process for all these companies to talk truthfully to their customers and also communicate truth and not by merely giving a lame excuse saying that the spare is out of stock etc. After this, they do not even bother to call back and update status, unless we make all efforts to call them again and again. It is more painful to realise that every time we talk to a totally different person and we have to repeat the whole story all over again. This pain cannot be explained but can only be felt. I would request your institution to take serious action against these multi nationals who do not perform but make only promises. Quite logically, these companies should be heavily penalized for basic non-performance and customers, duly compensated. I would be grateful if you could please respond to my complaint at your earliest convenience.

                                I have purchased one whitemagic FSA652 Whirlpool washing machine in 2/2009 from M/s. Ravi Electronics/ Kothagudem who was their authorised dealer. The Drum of machine has been rubbed and replaced in 5/2009. Now again the drive assembly is found gone against complaint No. 146, Dt. 27/7/2010 at M/s. Ravi Electronincs under warranty. The performance of the machine has been found not satisfactory and their services are also not satisfactory since the date of purchase. In spite of vigorous pursuance with M/s. Ravi Electronics and The company representatives Mr. Sukumar, Area Manager/Hyd, Mr.Kumar, Manager/Vijayawada and service agency at Khammam, the rectification of complaint is not initiated and rectified. Ultimately my washing machine is kept in dismantle condition for the last 75days for want of rectrification. The whirlpool team is failed to rectify and resume the service of my machine.Hence I request make it noticed to the company and arrange to replace the machine with new one immediately. Reply by return mail is requested.

                                  We brought a whirlpool semi-automatic washing machine(6.5 kg, superwasha) last Tuesday fron QRS a supposedly reputed firm in Trivandrum.

                                  I am totally disappointed with the Samsung product brand and the miserable kind of service.
                                  brand new 541L Samsung frost free refrigerator which we purchased on 15/08/2010 for Rs.46000/-, is leaking which was bought from QRS Pattom Trivandrum.When we went to look for a fridge, Sales person showed us 541L of fridge from the Samsung booklet. We ordered for Product no: RT72-KBSM(541L), but we were delivered RT72KBTS1/XTL product from the QRS, which had no feature which was told to us for the product, which we have given order. It was almost we are forced to accept the fridge which QRS Pattom has dumpped it on us. Neither Samsung Staff is able to find, from where water drops are falling in the dispenser, even when there is no water filled.

                                    I have had the misfortune of buying a 2 door Whirlpool refrigerator.

                                    - My fridge is now 3 years old and had completely stopped working.
                                    - I have made several calls over the last 2 weeks to the customer care requesting for an engineer to look into the matter.
                                    - My calls are "registered" but no engineer ever calls back, as they are expected to.
                                    - The compressor has been changed 3 times but the fridge still does not work. The engineers seem to have no clue what is wrong or how to fix it and now completely avoid my calls.
                                    - My calls to supervisors/managers are also avoided.

                                    I am completely at the end of my patience and would just like my fridge to be fixed or replaced.

My family members all were very much fond of whirlpool product, but i would like to tell you that first piece which we recieved it was dented. after few days second piece we recieve it was having same problem, Later on we are recieved third piece but after 3-4 days we could found the vegetables are getting iced and getting moisture in the vegetable basket and on the trays as well as not cooling very much, I complained to customer care on 24th may about the aove problem. engineer came for the repair but he could not do it, my sr no. is Dl [protected] dated 24 may. SONI AT LUCKNOW WHO SUGGESTED TO DEPOSIT 40% COST OF NEW FRIDGE FOR REPLACEMENT. I DEPOSITED THE AMOUNT AND COMPANY REPLACED THE FRIDGE ON 5/10/10 AFTER EXPIRY OF SIX MONTHS. REPLACED FRIDGE IS IN BROKEN CONDITION. WHIRPOOL ASSURED TO REMOVE THE FAULT IN 2 HOURS, BUT NOT YET DONE AFTER LAPSE OF THREE DAYS.

                                      i call the whirlpool customer care fr fridge checkup on 15/06/2011 the complaint no is GB[protected] the executive named HANIF KHAN and ROHIT MALIK come and said for changing relay. after asking for bill they give us a fraud bill charging Rs 1240/- and doesn't give us a genuine bill and also they does not changed any relay in the fridge.

                                        I had raised a complaint on 4-Oct-2010 as my refrigerator is not working (SR Number - BG[protected]). I got a message that the issue has been assigned to HSR Layout branch 123. I called the customer care[protected] several times after that and setup reminders, but nobody has attended to my complaint yet.
                                        When asked to talk to customer care manager on 6-Oct-2010, I was told that he is busy, and sometimes when the executive forwarded the call to the manager, he did not attend the call.

                                        I would like to raise the complaint against this kind of poor service being done by the Service center ( HSR Layout branch 123), and the customer care manager who was busy to attend the call today, as his primary duty should be to attend to the customer complaints and get the issue resolved.

                                        Today 7-Oct-2010....still waiting for the service personnel........such shame on whirlpool's customer service....I am sure I would not buy any whirlpool product in future......

                                        My name is Shantanu Banerjee, I had bought a washing machine from Great Eastern Co.(Sarat Bose Road) branch.Date of purchase was 30.8.2007( My Address-address 160Shibpur Road, First floor, Mandirtala, Howrah-711102), Model No.9713, Serial No.INB[protected].The machine showed a minor snag, I called up the local call service and I was promptly given a compliant no.KL[protected].The technician reached my house and declared that a plastic pipe within the machine is damaged hence I need to pay up.He promised to come back and do the needful till date nothing has happened.I have endlessly called up the service call centre but nothing has happened till date.My compliant was lodged on the 13.03.2008.I have also written to there head office in New Delhi.I have really run out of ideas as to what to do.The product is only five months old.

                                        I had already made complaint for repair of my refrigerator as its not cooling properly on 30/4/08. on 4/5/08 one person was coming and changed the gas. he took rs. 1200/-for gas + ser chg. After completion of one day, the same problem has faced. Then i have called almost 15 times to send the person to solve the problem, but till date no body has came. Only gave promise that the person will be coming. how Poor service they have given to us ?? Pl let us know what to do ?

                                        i have purchased a 310 liter refrigerator from a dealer in south delhi a month back . Since the beginning is giving lot of problems(noise problem, light not working, sometimes the whole fridge do not work even if there is electricity) . I immediately complaint this in your customer care dept, the engineer visited twice but he was not able to solve the problem.In the last visit the engineer said he will visit the next day again( a week back) . Since he never visited i again called up ur customer services 4 days back the complaint no. isDL[protected] but no one visited.Then I called back yesterday also the complaint no. is DL[protected] . Till now my problem has not been solved and still your product is giving lot of problems. Look into this matter at the earliest and replace my product as its only a month old and giving lot of problems.

                                        I had complaint for several times about my wachine machine atleast from last two months at your Karnal (Haryana) service center.

                                        But till date i didn't get any response from karnal service center.

                                        Pls. do needful.
                                        I purchased a whirlpool washing machine some 6 years ago and now there is a problem with the machine. I contacted the customer care service center in Bangalore #60008558, and they assured me that the service person will visit my place within 24 hours. Everyday we get a call from the so called engineer and he will visit that day, and he does not turn up. I have been waiting for him for the past four days, and he is still to turn up. I have called the customer care at least 20 times for the past 4 days and they keep assuring that he will visit before 8 pm or that they will get back in 2 hours, which they have never done.

                                        If that engineer has too many visits for that day, why cant they assign the job so another engineer.

                                        Is there no responsible person whom I can contact to resolve this issue? I am really fedup of calling their customer care.

                                        I have launched a complaint during 20th Sep '08 and till now my machine was not attended upto 22nd OCt '08.They repeatedly changed the complaint no. the last complaint no. filed with Customer care is 31482, for which they frequently sayy that they have sent a service person and will reach tonight, but evry time they fail to come for service. My machine is under warranty. Am not able to use my machine for last one month. my machine cost is around Rs.25, 000, the loss is huge

                                        Whirlpool — Very poor after sales service

                                        I had bought a semi automatic whirlpool washing machine a year ago. The machine is not working now. Since it is under 2 years warranty, I called up the customer care and logged a service request on Nov 1st.
                                        After following up with them a few times, they sent a guy to my place, who checked the machine and suggested that certain part of the machine has to be replaced. Said, if they have that part in stock, he will come and replace it the next day. If not, it may take 2 or 3 days. I waited for 2 days for the guy to turn up with the machine part, but nobody turned up. I called the customer care again, they assured the service person will be coming today. Days passed, nobody turned up. I kept calling and was always answered in the same way. After 11 days, the update given to me was that the machine has to be lifted to their service center. Still nobody came. to take the machine. I feel ashamed of myself to keep calling them again and again, but can't help it... On 12th day, I lost my patience and scolded the operator, and he assured again that my problem will be rectified that day. Till now, no one has come, and I'm pondering over ways to resolve this issue. A reputed firm like whirlpool should not be behaving in such an irresponsible and fraud way to a customer. I dont understand why they have set up a customer care cell if they dont intend to resolve customer complaints. I feel they are selling defective products under fake warranty. Shame on them and their poor service. I don't know whom to address my grievance. Somebody please help to file a consumer cell complaint.

                                        Registered a complaint with Whirlpool Customer care Chennai and no one called back. Whenever we call the answer would be no availability of spare parts. Even for Courtesy sake, customer service don't call the customer and update status. When escalated to Manager, he said would give a call in 1 hr. no call even for next 5 days. When I gave a call back, his question was "did I spoke to you". When I escalated this to the Customer care office in Chennai - they replied that they would escalate and I would get a call in 6 hrs... Its been 72 hrs and no call. When I call the Gurgaon office, their reply is this is office closing time, so we would speak to you tomorrow. No one in whirlpool customer care is ready to speak to the customer and no one takes interest to resolve the queries. Its only my money & time wasted in the phone calls and left with frustration.

                                        FRIDGE — non delivery and no refund

                                        I bought Refrigerator and Washing machine from jainsons. Well i like to share the bad experience i had with whirlpool service technicians, my product arrived one week before the technician and we have been waiting and waiting, because the delivery people told us don't open the washing machine and refrigerator until the service technician come and he is the only person can open the packing. And if you open we are not accept if the product have any dent or damage any place so we waited. Well service technicians came after may be 8 calls we made with showroom people and also couple of visits also made to showroom asking to send service technicians, finally technician came yesterday and they gave big list to buy accessories from them. Trolley - Rs 1500.00., Cover - 500.00., clastride - 1800 Rs (they told clastride will take out iron contents out from water) and they not requesting to buy these items they are ordering us to buy these items. They also said if we not buy, the machine will broke. Well asked them please open the package and do the demo, they open the package and acted like they got call from their company and ran away gave some numbers to call them back, leave more mess in our house, we called and still they never show up. Basically i am resident o[censored]S and i know pretty much about these machines, and if the machine not work properly without accessories then they don't sell without them, we all know that but why they forcing us to buy from them only. How come the machine will broke without the stand. Also they telling us to buy voltage protector for refrigerator, But on machine they printed we never need to provide such a thing. And i called some of my friends and share my problems with them because they knew very well about service technicians, Interesting things they told me is, every service technician making about Rs 30, 000.00 extra money every month when selling accessories with extra money for their own pocket, that's why they forcing us to buy them. Innocent customers like us don't have a chance to know all this so think about it. I don't know how many people sharing this profit, because how come the department mangers getting blind. Why they don't want to know customer satisfaction. They get all the information in single phone call with customers like us. Well friends be careful with these people they tell you to buy all junks which is not required.
                                        We bought Whirl pool Washing Machine on 1st Jan at viveks-mylapore(Chennai, tamil Nadu). But, the model (Lilac) which we selected was stopped and told they will replace with new model & upgraded features. But motor which we selected was 760 and they hey gave 380 (downgraded one) after 3 weeks .So we paid additional amount and bought 700S model. But they came 1 week after demo and when we trying washing found rinsing is not working.Executive told they will replace it . But still they have not replaced yet.

                                        Today is 10th feb, still we cannot wash with washing machine after 40 days of purchase.
                                        We are totally disappoint with the service.

                                        Please refund us or replace with new washing machine..!

                                        I have a fridge of the above mentioned brand and I have registered a complaints with the call centre and also with service centre the no is [protected] (Mr.Akram) but when ever i call i get reasons and taht they will do the needful tommorow but as tommorow never comes my fridge is not working since 12 days and this the service provided as i am under the service contract no HP04063789.

                                        As you know in summer time without fridge is a major problem.

                                        Whirlpool — FRAUDULENT AFTER SALES SERVICE & ASSURANCES

                                        I had purchased a fully automatic washing machine in 2005 from Whirlpool considering it to be a leading brand.Upon termination of my warranty period I had entered into an AMC for 2 years ending on Nov 2009.

                                        There have been instances when my machine malfunctioned whereupon i had to call up the Customer Care Centre & had to wait for 2 days for the engineer to turn up & identify the issue only to know that there was some part that was required to be replaced. Anticipating that the part would be promptly replaced/ repaired, i had to wait for a week only to know that the part is not available in the Service Centre & had to be imported from Ghaziabad which took another 3 days to reach the Service centre.

                                        A similar issue happened on 04-May-09. My machine stopped functioning for which I called up the customer care to lodge a complaint on 05-May-09. The engineer turned up on 06-May-09 & checked the machine & told us that he would come back. I waited till 08-May-09 & re-lodged the complaint with the customer care who in turn assured me that the engineer would come on 09-May-09. Since morning on 09-May-09 i had been calling up the customer care to ask the status of the complaint but they kept assuring me that the engineer would visit my place by 7 pm on 09-May-09. At 7:15 pm i called up the engineer on his mobile only to know that the part is not available in the service centre & asked us to speak to the customer care. I thereafter called up the customer care & spoke to Sunita (Team leader) who assured us that she would investigate on the availability of the part & revert within few minutes. She also assured us that the machine would be repaired by 13-May-09. However, till 11:30 am on 10-May-09 we have not received a call from the customer care. I then called up the customer care back & spoke to Fiama (Team leader) who again assured that the request would be met urgently since the part is not available in service centre.

                                        On 09-May-09 since morning i was given fraudulent assurances that some one would visit my place. Whirpool being such an established company, it is stupid to believe that the parts are not available in the service centre & takes 2 weeks for the part to be made available.

                                        We being full time employed & having a 1.5 year old child, it becomes very difficult to manage washing clothes. We had bought the washing machine for our convenience but it has become a nuisance. Whats the use of promising us best/ prompt after sales service if they need 2 weeks to be resolved every time? This is a fraud that the company is engaging itself into by luring their customers to buy their products & landing up only assuring us of quick service.

                                        Why can't the company atleast provide a spare machine till the time our machine is repaired? If they can't repair the same urgently i would like to be compensated with Rs.20, 000/- for the trauma & the inconvenience caused to myself.

                                        I hope the consumer forum would attend our complaint & penalise Whirlpool for not delivering quality standards.
                                        My father bought a whirlpoooool Washing machine and also he has extended the warranty on a guise that the customer service would be good. But I don’t know what the customer service is doing by receiving complaint. 30 days and more had gone since I lodge my complaint but till now I am spending Rs. 50 for my mobile to call them but they respond that they are behind me and ask me to see my back to see the service man, but I see only the walls of my home. The administration of customer care telling that the engineer would come but those persons must have many criminal case of worst. They react like wise. They don’t know how to speak with the customer. They are not keeping their words.


                                        For instance one customer service person who had been allotted to rectify my complaint told his name as Kishore, krishna, balaji, sukumar, but till now I don’t know his real name his number is [protected].
                                        Suppose I think to go legally to consumer court, they would simply order for the rectification of mistake and the award would be very meager amount for my suffering. Because unfortunately I am a criminal advocate and I know very well. If I sort for any press help I don’t know weather they would help me or not.
                                        What is the solution?

Product has been deliverd on 7th June 2009 and been told that co. engineer will visit and install the product will give us demo. On 8th June 2009 we received call from company and been told engineer will visit on the same day 8th June. But till date 11th June no one turned up and even when on each day I called up their customer care no. and complaint regarding the same and wanted to know when someone will visit from their side. Is there is any way By which I can return the Product and get refund of my Money, so that I can buy some other company's product.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I have purchased the Whirlpool rerigerator (DOuble dorr 26Elite Model) in April 2008 and it caused the problem from last 15 days of less cooling.

                                        I have lodged complaint with customer Care and engineer visited and said that the COMPRESSOR needs to be replaced and it under warranty, but they said that it will cost Rs.1050 towards transportation and Relay+ OLP part change whereas these parts are ok as confirmed by Engineer.

                                        This is totally unbearable when the COMPRESSOR is under warranty. This company do not have a transparent policy of its services.

                                        Why should a person pay the above charges when the above aid part is under warranty.

                                        Please look into the matter with Whirlpool.

                                        My machine is not working from last 4 months and i have done around 200 phone's and spoken with service center with Sanjay then with Sarika in head office Pune then Mr Sitharth on [protected] then with rajesh Verma on [protected] . But after 200 call to all of them no use at all . Whirlpool service is worst then any other brand i am dealing with . My 1st complained no. is PN[protected] and machine is in Guarantee period . I want to replace my machine as soon as possible
                                        I purchased this less than 3 years ago and with 2 months it broke down. They promptly came, said 1 in a million failure and had to take it away to their workshop to fix it. Gave no standby despite assuring us of giving one. A week or so later they came back with refridgerator apparently fixing the problem. Few months passed, it failed. It wouldnt cool at all. Again after complaint, they attended to it by filling in the coolant gas.

                                        Again after few months it began to erratically function, sometimes cool and sometimes wont. This time they made us buy their stabilizer (for Rs. 1200). And ofcourse that didnt solve the problem. Thats like filling a tooth to fix the arm fracture.This cycle continues every 2-3 months.

                                        I recently registered a complaint again. First guy comes and takes a look at the fridge says he needs to refill the gas. Goes away never to return. When I call up the CC, they say it has already been closed. He registers complaint again, with a second reminder he says he will escalate it to the manager.

                                        Now I get visits from 2 different engineers. Each of them just come take a look, tell me that they need to fill gas. and that they will inform the gas filling engineer. At every phone call I hear, 'He will come tomorrow', 'he will come at 11am', '1 pm', ' 3pm', 'he is in adyar, next is your place'. Nothing has happened. Now the engineer doesnt pick up his phone.

                                        I have paid around Rs.20, 000 for this good for nothing refridgerator, which more like a shelf these days. Paid another[protected] to for an extended warranty to extend it to 7 years total. Another Rs.1200 a stabilizer. Its just been 3 years and so much of expense and problems.

                                        But I am determined to have them fixed the problems for all the money I have paid.

                                        Incidently I still have my 30yr old Kelvinator refridegrator. Not one complaint, yet continues to work fine.
                                        I bought a Whirlpool Duet Front Loader Washer in September 2007. I did not get the extended warranty because I figured what could go wrong with a new washer. Since I had the washer, the washer was worked on 7 times. The washer would not work last week, someone came out from A & E Factory charged me $129.00 to inform me that it would cost me $435.00 to fix my washer. I bought the washer from Lowes Home Improvement and they would not honor the washer I bought from them. Whirlpool sold me a defective washer and I told them that from the start because I had to have it serviced 2 months after I bought it. Now the door is defective and the washer will not wash. I will never buy a whirlpool product again. I am reduced to going to the laundromat each week for a family of 5, how fun.
                                        I own whirlpool washing machine model STA - PL5, which is not working . I need name of authorised service center at Nagpur (Maharashtra) for repaires of the same.

                                        I have purchased one Whirlpool refrigerator two and half years back. Till Sep 2009 it was working fine. Suddenly one day it stoped working.

                                        I gave a complaint to Customer Care on 2-Sep-2009. After 2 days enginner has been visited and told problem with compressor and after a week so they came and replaced my original compressor and chargged around 2000/-.

                                        Those guys were very much interested to sell me one stabiliser though i have branded working pieace.

                                        It was working for 10 days and again my refrigerator stopped working. I gave a second complaint on 8-Oct-2009. After keep on following the customer care they have visited after a week and told the same problem and chargged 360/-.

                                        20-Oct-2009 they replaced with some other compressor and told to keep the fridze in high cooling. After keeping a day also fridge not chilled.

                                        Then again raised 3rd complaint on 22-Oct-2009(HD [protected]).

                                        I would request Whirlpool to help me is sorting out my problem.

                                        I had bought Whirlpool Whitemagic in 2007. After the warranty, we had taken 3 years comprehensive AMC expiring in Jun 2011. The Service Engineer is supposed to had visited for the preventive maintenance in April 2009. No Service Engineer has not visited till date; Dec 2009. We had to call the call center couple of times to make the Engineer to visit. Whirlpools' customer service should have taken care of this if they are realy customer foused. The Whirlpool in India's executive are monye minded and not bothered about the customer care. This not the first experience. I had to call more than 20 times to fix the issue with the new refridgerator too.

                                        Out my Expreience and frustration I would say "Do Not Buy" Whirlpool products in India. The Customer care Sucks in India.

                                        We have purchased WHIRLPOOL FRIDGE 180 LIT GEN NEW PRE 5S vide our Bill no. VLCB-19142/09/10 DTD 01.01.2010 through your Madurai dealer "Shri Meenakshi Fan House Pvt Ltd., West Masi Street, Madurai -625001".

                                        We are awaiting of Installation for the above purchased new Whirlpoo Fridge for the past one week. No fruitfil action done.

                                        I received call from Chennai Toll free no. [protected] and they informed the deputed installation/service engineer. For your information, the installation request call register vide SR no.CN[protected] Satisfaction Code: 059.

                                        Still we are contacting and the service centre people simply replying without any action.

                                        For the past one week, we are waiting for proper installation of our newly purchased Whirlpool Fridge.

                                        Due to lack of followup by Shri Meenakshi Fan House Pvt Ltd., Madurai, we are unable to use the newly purchased Whirlpool Fridge.

                                        Hence I bring the matter to lodge as a complaint to sortout.

                                        Whirlpool means trust & loyalty for us before but now it does mean poor quality, lack of credibility, lack of customer satisfaction, losing customer interest, lack of responsibility, lack of commitment, false promises, no timely delivery, poor response to customers, poor customer interaction, cheating customers, waste spending money on the brand which doesn't worth it, worst time spending interacting to employees & dealers of the company, no more a respectable and recognizable brand by itself itself.

                                        I have purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator and chosen the dealer Viveks as it was mentioned as a authorized dealer in Whirlpool India website. But this is the worst experience I have ever had in my life and they have made this New year 2010 start as worst as possible for me.

                                        I made the advance payment & booked for a whirlpool frost free refrigerator till today.

                                        I paid the advanced on 19th December 2009 to book the product and made full payment on Dec 31st 2009.

                                        It took nearly more than 3 days for the whirlpool authorized dealer (Viveks - T.nagar) to deliver a product even which was a damaged one which was identified while the product was taken out from the manufacturer's packing & opened by the whirlpool technician Mr. Hari on 2nd Jan 2010 at around 6.30 PM. Then we asked for a replacement immediately. But to be frank even though replacement will be done I wont have the feel o[censored]sing a new product a psychological factor which any marketer can understand. Thanks to Whirlpool.

                                        I was told that the replacement would be made within a weeks time but it is unfortunate that whirlpool promise has not been brought to action.

                                        I did called the Whirlpool customer care at +[protected] on 8th Jan 2010 and I was told that the issue is raised to concern department and would receive a call the same day from a person of that department and also when raised more concerns they gave me the Contact number "[protected]" of "Mr. X - Incharge for Replacement" and said would receive a call from him before that evening and the unfortunate fact is that I haven't received any call from any employee of Whirlpool or from related persons.

                                        Then I ended up calling him but the response I received & the way the person spoke was not satisfactory and I feel that it is the worst part of whirlpool and that does not sounded any professionalism or as a Whirlpool employee. Does have customer handling skills or neither know how to handle a customer and feel arrogance in the way he dealt or spoke to me. The person said that the product will be delivered before morning of 9 Jan 2010 but the same didn’t happen.

                                        I called Mr. X on the same day (9 Jan 2010 at around 11 AM) but again the false commitment & promise made for the delivery before 10 Jan 2010 (which is a Sunday) but Whirlpool executive or person related to Whirlpool doesn’t keep up his words and fulfill their promises & commitment. I did suspected that how cum he can deliver a product on a holiday but believed they would do it as it is a seasonal sale and festive season and might have lot of deliveries which proved to be false and I understood that I was cheated when they were not able to keep up their promise even on 10 Jan 2010 as said by the respectable person in charge for the replacement.

                                        On 10 Jan 2010 (Sunday - working day as said by Mr. X) the product was not delivered and so again I ended up calling the customer service on the above said cust care number where in my call was disconnected by the executive by the caller (executive - Level 1) after I explained my concern to her . Then I called again but I was so frustrated and so my call was transferred by the executive to the floor supervisor (Level 2 employee as per customer service norms) and he has confirmed his name as "Mr. Y".

                                        I told Mr. Y that the most respectable person in charge for replacement has said that their engineers will deliver the replaced product on or before 10 jan 2010 which is today (Sunday) and Mr. Y said that is not at all possible as it is supposed regular company holiday. This is when I understood that I was cheated by that person in charge of replacement (Mr. X) who has told a lie to close the conversation when I contacted him.

                                        Then so I had to show my anger to Mr. Y and told him that I will not disconnect the call until I get a justice or a solution for my precious time, efforts, money, energy and many more which I had spent on tracking them on phone and directly and for the money that I have invested on the product for which he said that he would call be back in 3 hours time tracking the status from the respective department. I told him that I will stay on the line and asked him to track the status and let me know but he refused to do that and started giving me humpty number of reasons for not doing.

                                        He tried to close the call by giving the contact number "+[protected]" for me to call but then I called the number while he was on the call and found that I felt as if I am talking to an IVR where in the recorded telecom voice comes that "no one is there to pick the call" after the final ring. I told him that this is what is happening for which he said that I need to call Mani the next day which is 11 Jan 2010 (Monday) after all these had happened and stayed with his mouth shut till that moment.

                                        Then I refused to disconnect and stayed on the line for about 30 minutes after which he pulled another Supervisor (name unknown) on the line in order to talk to me. This guy also started taking about the trust I should have on them similarly as said by Mr. Y, Mr. X and other employees of the trustworthy Whirlpool. I told that that Mr. Y has given me the number telling that I would get a solution if I call the number"+[protected]" but it is unfortunate that no person is available for me to get a right solution and I feel as if I am taking to a IVR or a who is person who is impaired and if this is the case how a customer can trust Whirlpool and its employees. That guy then said that the number"+[protected]" is the apporiate one for me to call and instead I need to try the numbers "+[protected] or +[protected]". I then made him stay on the call until I called both the numbers and found that at least I heard some pre recorded voice of the telecom operator on the number given by Mr. Y but this is even worse.

                                        I would say that it is all about losing customer loyalty, losing trust the customer has on the brand Whirlpool and this is not how a respectable and globally present brand should operate and irritate the customer who ended up purchasing a worst experience in his life.
                                        Don't ever think of buying WHIRLPOOL product in your entire life.

                                        I am a customer of Whirlpool, and have bought a fridge, microwave and washing machine from Whirlpool just over a year ago. I have been having many problems with the microwave, and I am extremely unhappy and frustrated at the level of service that your company has provided to address these issues. The people in your Pune service center are not helpful and downright rude at times, and have done nothing to address my concerns.

                                        On Dec. 14th 2009 (within the 12 months warranty period), I placed a complaint (complaint no. PN[protected]) with the Pune service center of Whirlpool concerning my Magicook 30C microwave, which was not functioning properly. The microwave was turning on, but key presses didn't get any response. Subsequently, a service technician from Whirlpool visited our home and we were told that the keypad would need to be changed, since there was some issue with it. He said he would place the order and it would take a week or so to arrive. Several weeks passed, and there was no response. I kept calling the service center and getting the same response that the part was still pending. This continued for over a month.

                                        In early February, I was told one day that the complaint had been closedl On investigating further, the service center told me that since they couldn't get the part, they closed the complaint! I would like to know what kind of customer service this is, where a complaint gets closed because they feel they cannot service it. Anyway, I entered another complaint in the system (PN[protected]), and when the service technician came by, he again gave me the same story that he would need to replace the keypad and they would place an order for it. By this time, I was extremely frustrated that nothing was being done, and my microwave was not working for nearly 2 months!!

                                        To date, my microwave has not been fixed, and I keep getting the same response from the service center and the Whirlpool branch office, that the keypad part will be arriving in 2-3 days, and that it will be fixed. I have demanded that they replace my microwave if the part is not available, but they refuse to do that either. It has been 3 months since my original complaint, and I have still not had my issue fixed. I am extremely frustrated and am planning to file a complaint against whirlpool in the consumer court regarding this issue.

                                        After first two services of the AC , it was noticed by whirlpool service centre executive that AC switch box was damaged. After Registering Repetitive complaints no action has took place ,even submitting copy of purchasing bill with written complaint on it to the whirlpool executive no action has took place. My AC is still under warranty period ,so i want this damaged switch box to be replaced earliest with new one,failing which i will have to move to the consumer court.

                                        I had registered a complaint (GB[protected]) in the last week of Feb regarding the non working condition of refrigerator. After a lot of reminder calls and emails from my side, the complaint was looked into and rectified (Compressor and Capillary tube changed) by 6th March 2010.

                                        Unfortunately our refrigerator has stopped working again, just in a week's time. I have again registered the complaint. (GB[protected]) I am extremely unsatisfied with the whirlpool products and service. I have already shelled out about Rs. 3600 on this fridge during the last complaint. The fridge is just 4 years old and already giving us so much of problems.

                                        Not only this, I had also registered a complaint for my microwave (4 yrs old), complaint no. GB[protected], on 6th February 2010. It is been more than a month now and still my microwave is in a non working condition. I am absolutely unsatisfied with the whirlpool service.

                                        I request other people not to buy Whirlpool products as they are very poor in quality and also service.

                                        I purchased a Whirlpool Aviator A/C From M/S Viveks, Nanganallur on the 03-Apr-2010. I paid the entire amount up front, including installation charges of Rs. 1200. I was assured that the A/C would be delivered and installed on 05-Apr-2010. However, even on the next day, I had received no communication from any concerned party. After numerous follow-up calls, a technician was sent to my residence. This individual had none of the tools required for A/C installation. Using what he had, he started the process and eventually gave up, after having caused much damage to the walls of the bedroom. He then proceeded to inform me that he was "tired" and that he would come the next morning. However, this never happened. I have taken up this issue with the Viveks Nanganallur Branch Manager, who assured me that the amount would be refunded. However he has refused to accept liability for the damages caused by HIS technician.

                                        I had an Amc with Wirlpool for my washing machine and it expired on 11th Apr2010. a not reminded for the renuwal and nor was I aware of it. I have AMCs for my various gadgets and always I am reminded before the expiry. I had a problem with the machine and I was told that the AMC is over and that I should pay Rs.6000.                                         I have recently purchased Whirlpool fully Automatic Washing Machine 2 weeks back on 3rd October. Company Rep give us Demo and we used mahcine on Weekend first and last time i.e 9th October.

All are working at home and we have no time but to do cloth washing in night manually with a brand new washing machine at home which worked just once.

Your engineers come and charged from me then its works two months oir three months and then again stopped working. This process continuous. Cartage etc. also I am paying again and again without fault of mine.

                                        Once compressor replaced but not working. There may be some error in your product or your engineers are not competent.

                                        Dear Sir

                                        This is continuation of my last year’s complaint (ID 363/2/2009 made on Core.nic.in). MY MISERY IS STILL CONTINUING. As per my complaint last year with Whirlpool, the whirlpool people changed the compressor of my AC in April 2010 (WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHANGED LAST YEAR) but I was not satisfied with its performance. I told the same to the company but they had a deaf year to my complaint. FINALLY, ON May 26, 2010 My air conditioner totally gave in. I made a formal complaint on May 27, 2010 at 08.25am on their call center (No.[protected]. My complaint no. is DEL [protected]. On making my complaint I got their routine reply that SOMEONE WILL CALL ME WITHIN 2 HOURS AND FIX – UP AN APPOINTMENT. But as their usual practice nobody called me but I kept calling the call center after every 3 – 4 hours but to my disappointed nobody called me even for appointment forget about the technicians visit. The same thing continued the next day also but as their usual practice nobody called me till May 28, 2010 4 o’ clock.

                                        Then I lost my control and called up the call center giving them lot of . Then finally somebody turned up at my place around 5.30pm just to tell me that NOTHING CAN BE DONE TODAY. They will take my AC to their workshop tomorrow and return it after 4 – 5 days. AS PER MY PAST EXPERIENCE THEIR ONE DAY IS EQUAL TO 15 DAYS, SO I DON’T WANT TO TAKE RISK NOW BECAUSE IF I WAIT FOR 5 *15 DAYS, THE SUMMER WILL BE OVER BY THEN (COURTESY WHIRLPOOL)

                                        NOW I MADE A COMPLAINT ON THE 10TH OCTOBER 2010, WITH NO. DL-[protected] IN THE MORNING. BUT TODAY IS 19TH OF OCTOBER BUT MY SITUATION IS STILL THE SAME. THE DETAILS OF WHICH ARE AS FOLLOWS

                                        1) PERSON VISITED MY PLACE ON THE NEXT DAY OF MY COMPLAINT AND SAID THAT ON PART IS GIVING THIS PROBLEM. HE TOOK THE PART WITH HIM SAYING THAT HE WILL REUTRN TOMORROW i.e. 11/10/2010

                                        2) ON THE 11TH ANOTHER PERSON TURNS UP AND HE SAYS THAT THE PART WHICH HIS COMPANY'S PERSON TOOK IS ACTUALLY NOT FAULTY IT IS THE COMPRESSOR THAT IS AT FAULT. I APPRISED HIM THAT MY COMPRESSOR WAS CHANGED IN THIS YEAR'S SUMMER. HE SAID DON'T WORRY IT WILL BE CHANGED AGAIN TOMORROW i.e. 12/10/2010 BUT AS EXPECTED NOTHING HAPPENED

                                        3) SINCE THEN TILL TODAY i.e. 19/10/2010 I AM GETTING ONLY FALSE PROMISES NOTHING ELSE. INFACT, YESTERDAY i.e. 18/10/2010 AT AROUND 18.30 I CALLED THE CALL CENTER AGAIN (ON PHONE NO.[protected] & I WAS ASSURED THAT SOME SENIOR WILL CALL ME WITHIN 2 HOURS BUT TILL NOW (i.e. 19/10/2010 13.00 HOURS) NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. NO CALL NO REMEDY.

                                        4) Now on the 19/10/2010 my compressor was changed and the person who came to change it told me that my compressor was never changed. Even after changing my compressor my AC is not working and the company closed my complaint. So I had to make the complaint again.


                                        Further I would like to bring to your notice that today i.e. 23/10/2010 I am still waiting for the mercy
                                        of the company to fix my AC.

                                        Kindly tell me the way I can sue this company so that they understand the torture the are giving me

                                        We bought a whirlpool washing machine (model WM-FP60 DLX-L.grey) sr no. INB[protected]on 22.10. 08 and a refrigerator (Model no. 10857 CLA35. sr no. INA[protected] on 5.11.08. washing machine repaired on 17.10.10. I complained to the customer care. They came and changed the circuit board on 25.10.10 without any cost. But i bought stabilizer and the washing machine cleaning powder worth Rs.2200/-.
                                        On 22.10.10 refrigerator also repaired. We informed to the customer care.But there is no response for my complaint then i complained to the dealer. The engineer came from whirlpool. He told that to change the gas tube because it have holes. And he said, the warranty is only for the compressor so you spend Rs.1900 for the replacement.The washing machine and the refrigerator repaired in 2 years so that we lost our hope with whirlpool. Don't spoil your company's fame.please take the immediate remedy for my problem.

                                        I purchased a washing Machine from Godrej Model No:GWF580A,Product Code:4E06,Dt.06.11.10 but I don't get proper installation service by them.I have been consult to their customer care but I am not saticfy by their service.The installation is still pending on their end.

                                        Whirlpool — demand of money in Home care plan not expired

                                        I lodged complaint for service of my refrigerator (complaint No. CH[protected] dated 1.11.2010), I already lodged complaints many times for leakage of cooling through gate, but the problem is still there. They demand money for rectify the problem, but my Whirlpool Home care plan will expire on 28 july, 2011 vide application cum receipt No. 182666 for Rs. 1395/-.
                                        I paid money for peace full service of your product from your side, if your company demand money before expiry of Plan , .
                                        Please take action as soon as possible and rectify my problem

                                        Sir, I have purchased a whirlpool washing machine model no. A72h on 4th nov 2010. And its not working properly I have requested for a demo on 5th nov (Demo No.: PT [protected]) but till today no engineer visited my home, even i havent got any call from ur side. But I got a message from company side that Mr. M.T. Alam will visite my home for demo but even he didnt visited and when I try to contact him on his mobile no. then the no. is switch off.

                                        And the worst thing is when I call to ur cust. care they always say tomorrow our Er. will visite ur home....but 10days has passed but their tomorrow never comes.

                                        I think I have made a mistake that I have taken whirlpool wasing machine. Perhaps I have choosen a wrong company. If for giving a demo they r taking more then 10 days then what about the rest services...

                                        And one thing more the back cover of my w/m is also damage. Since I have purchased it.
                                        Im calling to cust care regularliy, but no responce from them.

                                        Till date my problem has not resolved. I spoke with Ms. lilly /Monica for same.
                                        but they are just delivering promises. & worst thing is that they are not bother to make call also.

                                        Its a really pathetic.

                                        100th year of whirlpool is celebrated with this type of pathetic service.
                                        I too had an problem with my whirlpool washin machine, they came and told its an big problem it may cost 3000Rs. Though its a small sequence problem, this service guy did not even bothered to check completely he asked to replace the maid kit inside.
                                        I declined their offer. After few days i restarted the machine by pressing all buttons & it worked normally.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I got purchased the Whirlpool mastermind refrigerator which immedaite after warranty period stopped cooling. A complaint was lodged and whirlpool engineer informed tht gas leakage has happened. He charged and filled the cooling gas .after 2 months same problem arised and he again recharged the gas free of cost . after 3 months again cooloing stopped and a complaint was lodged engineer informed relay was burnt and replaced on payment. he advised to take amc for 2 year.we took this again refidregerator stopped cooling.

                                        what is the solution to this probelm.every after 2 3 months it goes wrong and keep calling mechanicn to get repaired. I have 3 refigerator and is working since last 20 years normal.
                                        I bought a whirlpool refrigerator 5 years back (Model 8057). Soon after its warranty is over it stopped cooling. I called the customer care centre. The service person told that the compressor has failed. The failure is due to dipping of outlet pipe of compressor on outlet water collector box. This causes hole in the outlet pipe. The water enters into the compressor which makes fatal attack to the compressor. May be heart-attack for the refrigerator.This is the design flaw. I shocked to hear this. I dont know why whirlpool like reputed company does not take care for the existing customer. The rate of the compressor+gas comes around half the amount of the refrigerator. I don't know whether sixth sense of the whirlpool is that sense the warranty period and stop its action. Iam totally dissatisfied with this company.

Lekin Hamara Product to 7 years warranty plan me hai aur Dealer ne bhi hame yahi bataya hai aur book me bhi likha hai ki 7 years ke andar agar Compressor Kharab hota hai to aapka Compressor Free of Cost change kiya jayega to Company wale hamse kyon charge le rahe hai jabki waranty period ke andar to charge lagne hi nhi chahiye. Whirpool Company ke product ki wajah se hame bahut pareshaani ho rahi hai 12-13 Feb se Complaint ki hui hai aur ab tak koi solution nhi nikla itne dino se Fridge band pada hai agar aise hi raha to future me Whirlpool Company ka product kaun Kharidega.                                         I had registered a compliant on 27 / 04 / 2011 through customer care cell of whirlpool,regarding my OLD whashing machine problem which is out of warranty.
                                        Complaint Number : 12909
                                        Engineeer attended the call on 28 th and replaced one spare parts ( valve) and charged Rs480/- . But he did not shown any demo for working and went.
                                        Later 1 Hr we tried to test the performence and came to know that the addresed problem not resolved.
                                        We immediatly call the service engineer he did not respond our call. Immediatly we called customer care of whirlpool and address the same issue. But they didnot register the complaint but they said engineer will attend the call anopther 2 hrs time.
                                        But now more than 72 Hrs i did not get any responce from customer care and the concern service person also.

                                        I just want to intimate you that i have been frustated with wirlpools service to the extent that i can not explain in words
                                        i bought ac on thursday and for wanted the isntullation to be done on friday itself , your deler told me that it would be done on the
                                        same day , i waited then i waited till next full day and called your customer care they said that request has been launched today
                                        and it would take 24 hrs , for me it was urgent and when i was not in town on saturday wirpool engineer calls me to fix it.
                                        I dont understand one thing , i had asked and told both the delear and customer care that i wanted that to be done on
                                        friday ,why it was not done.
                                        I had even asked to escalate the case on friday it was escalated to next leavel after 10 calls frm my end.
                                        Now next a lady who called herself as supervisor named "gomathi" picks the call and keeps talking what she feels
                                        she never had patients to understand what the customer says,she speaks and orders me to wait
                                        i do not understand who is the customer is the lady or me.
                                        Even after escaltion no one cares and a person named mani is also involved who is never ready to listen.
                                        I am very sure that i will never ever go for wirpoll product in my lifetime. I was about to but many products worth 1 lacks and more
                                        but the way i have been treated i am sure that i myself will ask my friends circle not to go for wirpool.
                                        I am sure i am stopping 1000+ customer from goign to wirpool becuase of the poorest esclation point of contact "gomathi and mani" from south region

                                        They are so althergic and they expect customer to fall on there knees , they would give a demo only when they are free.

                                        Today is 5th Day and still waiting for AC Demo.
                                        If you are not able to do the needful return my money back or else i have to go to consumer court

                                        Whirlpool — 1.5 T Split AC Defective Indoor Unit

                                        I bought 1 1.5 T Whirlpool Split A/C (Aviator model). It was installed yesterday and the indoor unit is not working. The Installation person told that it will take 4 to 5 days to replace the indoor unit.

                                        But till now, i didn't get a any official call from Whirlpool customer care asking for an apology for supplying a defective inddor unit and a tentative date on when the unit will replaced with a new one.

                                        After installation they didn't care and i am left in lurch.

                                        It is really a poor response and a pathetic service from Whirlpool.

                                        I, Anju Goel wants to file a complaint against Whirlpool customer support. I bought a 310L Single door fridge on May 19, 2010.                                         my friegde is steel in warrnty period but company told that warrnty for only compressor so i will not surprises that all multi nationalcompany like whirlpool cheating customer on behalf of customer care service. i know that which srevice charg charges company service center i will repair less than half amount from outside.comapny s.c. charged for motoras 1360/- is avalavel in rs.400/- only and gas charged rs. 600 to 800/- only and comapny s.c is given bill rs.total 3140/- which is after still we are in warrant period
                                        i have paid allready 1500/- and now company service station is demanding rs. 1360+280 servuce chg.bill
                                        now let me know but should have to do
