I complainted about the non functioning of our Whirlpool fridge on 26th June, 10. They informed me that some part is required to be replaced. On on today i.e. July 14, 10 we are unable to get any services of the fridge. everyday we are telephoning to their customer care and everyday their statements are changing. I have also written to their email i.d. at [protected]@whirlpool.com however till date the complaint is pending with them. I am really very very frustrated and fed up with their attitude. Finally I am opting for your help and hope I will get justice.

Please help.

I have so much to write about this and can inform you, if asked for.

      I am the owner of a Whirlpool H-65 Washing Machine bearing Serial No. INB[protected]. When faced with a minor problem in the wash cycle I registered a complaint with Whirlpool’s Customer care vide Complaint No. HR [protected] dated 01 April 2010.

      After the visit of the service engineer it was recommended by him that the machine should be sent for a chemical wash to their service centre and they will get it picked up. Thereafter, M/s R&A Global Service, SCF 39, Sec-16A, Faridabad had picked up my washing machine for a chemical wash from house no. 886, Sector-37, Faridabad, Haryana, India-121003 vide SRN No. 0028.

      The same was due to be returned on April 12, 2010 but since my wife had temporarily shifted to Delhi and I had to go out of station due to an urgent official visit, we called up Mr. Rakesh Dwivedi, who we believe is the manager of the captioned service centre, and asked him NOT to send the machine on 12th April 2010. Not heeding to our request the machine was nonetheless DUMPED at our neighbour’s house WITHOUT any authorization from us or any intimation to us.

      Upon my return to Delhi after the 20th April 2010, I got busy with the process of shifting my house to Delhi, where my child had recently been admitted to school. After shifting to my new house on the 3rd April and after setting up the house when we started to use the machine, we found it to be in a pathetic and deplorable state with the front panel completely broken, the wheels missing, the top body open and the machine not functioning properly. When we got it checked by an engineer, he commented that a simple chemical wash cannot harm the machine so badly. Upon learning this, I decided to check the serial no. of the machine from the invoice I had in my possession. I found out that the machine that was lying in my house was of the serial no. INB[protected] while the serial no. of my machine was INB[protected].

      When I contacted the Whirlpool Customer care, I was directed to speak to the customer care at Faridabad. The Faridabad customer care refused to register my complaint and directed me to speak to Ms. Tamanna at their branch office on[protected]. After many calls to Ms. Tamanna, I was Directed to Mr. Prakash, Area Manager, on [protected].

      After I spoke to Mr. Prakash, then finally the Whirlpool customer care registered my new complaint regarding the cheating committed on me, vide a new complaint no. HR [protected].

      After that I have been in regular touch with Mr. Prakash regarding return of my machine but he has been bluffing me and giving lame excuses for more than two months. Finally, on June 25, 2010, I was assured by Mr. Prakash that my machine would be picked up from Faridabad on that day and delivered to me on June 26, 2010.

      On June 26, 2010, after making more than 45 calls to Mr. Prakash, I was asked to bear half of the cartage cost and deliver the defective machine to Whirlpool service centre at my cost.

      I even agreed to that and asked him vide my e-mail dated June 26, 2010 to confirm that since it is the responsibility of Whirlpool to pick up the machine lying in my house and return my machine to me, the entire liability of transferring the machine rests with Whirlpool and I should not be held liable for any damage/theft etc. of the machine in the course of transit and that they will return my machine to my house after receiving the defective machine.

      It’s been more than 21 days since the date of my e-mail but there has been no response to my mail even after repeated reminder mails to Mr. Prakash and also to [protected]@whirlpool.com.

      Mr. Prakash finally did send me a mail from his personal email-id [protected]@yahoo.co.in and not from his official id [protected]@whirlpool.com that it was the mistake of the service centre (which is the authorized representative of Whirlpool) and I should send the washing machine to their service centre. This mail has no relevance or significance because I will have no claim against the Company if I act on the basis of a personal email with no mention about the liability of transportation being that of the Company.

      Now, I am really fed up of being taken for a ride by this cheating company and request you to kindly help me in getting my machine back from these cheaters who just have no regards for their customers and are making themselves richer by misappropriating the assets of poor people like us.

        I have never thought of Whirlpool like company selling such defective products. I have purchased so hyped "PROTON " elite model from Great Eastern Electronics on 29th May, 2010. Right from day 1, the so called "6th Sense " does not work. Neither the sensor or manual controls work. I called up several times and one engineer visited my place but could not rectify the problem. I requested for replacement but they are saying that they will send some senior engineer to my place soon but still i am waiting and still no calls of sr . engineer ( I doubt) . The reason I took this one is to explore the benefits of "6th Sense" one but right from beginning it is in trouble. I logged a call in service center ( Complain no : KL[protected]) . Service engineer came to visit and said might be some problem with Sensor . He tried to replace one of that and still no results. He said might be some problem with Circuit board of the UI panel .

        I again informed the service center and they promised to send some senior engineer soon. But while I spent so much of my hard earned money for a product from world class company like whirlpool , I am really confused how such a defective one can be given to me.

        Whirlpool elite — product and customer care

        We bought an washing machine on[protected]. first time there was problem in Board. immediately they came and repaired. second time there was problem in drum. they took more than one and half months to repair it. Third time, again problem in board. that time also they came and repaired. again fourth time there is problem in Board. We complained to ser. centre. They came and told that there is problem in Board and We willchange the board within one week. but there is no responsible from ser. centre. Within this period, more than three months it has not been working. We are very disappointed about yourproduct and service centre. First we put trust in your company product and bought this. during this guarantee period, we no need to spend money, but we have wait lot of time. After this guarantee perid over, what can we do? We are not vey rich to spend lot of money often. We are middle class family only. This type of problem may spoil your company's name. I'm very sorry to send this complaint. Please do somthing for us. Thank you.

          I had purchased a Whirlpool Icemagic 350L in 2005. In 2008, the PCB conked off- Rs 4000. In 2009, the compressor conked off- Rs 1600 for visit and gas change despite warranty. Now in 2010, first the filter turned ineffective for which the engineer replaced the filter and the entire gas- 2600 bucks. Five days later, apparently the bio metal has stopped working- Rs 900 to the engineer who's not reporting it to the company. Next problem that crops up, the fridge goes out my window.

            This is an ALERT to Whirlpool All India Sales and Service Managers. If you do not take action on Hyderabad service centre team (Kevin associates) very soon no one in hyderabad will buy whirlpool products. We already bad experience with Fridge and very bad experience with washing machine.

            We purchased Whirlpool washing machine during end of 1999. Initially it was working fine. But past few years it has been giving some trouble. We always had poor response from the service (the company has given to some local franchise). Two months back it was washing in two directions and we complianed to the service centre. After several followup engineer inspected the machined and told we need to replace circuit board. Again after several followup and escalation engineer came and replaced PCB. Now the washing machine was totally disfunctional. He struggled for 2-3 hours and he appeared to be not knowledgeable. We again escalated to senior mgmt and one more engineer came and told the tub assembly is gone and we have to spend around Rs.8000/- to change everything (PCB and tub assembly). Also Whirlpool is not accepting maintenance contract as it is old machine.

            My apartment neighbour had similar problem with IFB (bought in 1999 and same issue); But IFB asked the customer to enter into AMC and replaced the all the parts free of charge. This only shows IFB is more customer focussed and Whirlpool is not bothered about customers.

            Hence we decided to buy new machine instead of spending 8000 on old m/c. We also have a Whirlpool refrigerator but have problems with poor service again. We do not have the All india manager contact - as we want to inform the pathetic service from Hyderabad Whirlpool Service Centre (Kevin associates).

            We decided NEVER to buy whirlpool products due to their bad service (most important bad attitude of all the staff including the managers). They are not customer focussed and neither understand our problem nor provide timely updates.

            Whirlpool/ Washing Machine — Pathetic Service

            Hi,

            I wanted to lodge a complaint against the WHIRLPOOL Service center. However the Internet shows an endless list of complaints from consumers against the Company.
            I was shocked to see a reputed company such as WHIRLPOOL can have such a bad service all over India. My suggestion “PLEASE DON’T USE/BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS”

            My complaint id HR[protected] was launched as on 20th June 2009 – Saturday for my washing machine. I was confirmed that the Service engineer will be coming to attend the machine between 6-8pm the very same day. However, after my repetitive follow-ups on Saturday no one turned up till 8pm. On Sunday i.e. June 21, 2009 I called twice and asked for the supervisor,
            First call: I was told that my call is getting transferred (by Sunny) however after 6.5 minutes being on the call; my call was disconnected.
            Second Call: With Sonia, who said there is no supervisor at work as its Sunday and that they don’t have Supervisors working on Sunday’s. Also that majority of the engineers are not available on Sunday’s as that’s a OFF day.

            In all of my interactions with WHIRLPOOL service center I had mentioned that no one will be available on Weekdays; thus I need a time and date to plan accordingly.

            Today, June 22, 2009 – Monday, I didn’t receive any call or communication regarding the same.
            2 pm one of the supervisors – Sameer calls me stating – he was just informed of the matter. Also if I can tell him the time to send the Engineer today. I kept on telling him its not possible as I was in office and cannot manage the same.

            Few people I know during these conversations: Sameer, Sonia, Sunny, Kaushik, Shiv Kumar and Gulfam (service engineer)

            I was really frustrated to see the response rate from this Organization. No one is really bothered to understand the harassment faced by the customer.
            But I realize its part of the daily work cycle for WHIRLPOOL as the nonstop complaints available on site suggest so.

            “PLEASE DON’T USE/BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS”

            Whirlpool Washing Machine — PATHETIC SERVICE

            HI THIS IS VINCENT FROM CHENNAI, ASHOK NAGAR, I HAVE PURCAHSED TWO YEAR BACK A ELITE MODEL WASHING MACHINE, WITH IN TWO YEARS TIME MORE THAN 20 NASTY SERVICE WAS MADE AND TWO MACHINE WAS REPLACED BY THEM ALL THIS HAPPENED WITH RIGEROUS FOLLOW UP AND STRUGGLE.

            LAST MONTH THE WARRANTY GOT EXPIRED AND MUCH BEFORE THAT I WAS TRYING TO GET AN AMC BUT THEY REFUSED TO SIGN AMC WITH OUT SAYING ANY REASON..

            TWO WEEKS BACK A SERVICE WAS ATTENDED BY THEIR AGENCY CALLED MOTHERS CARE AND INSISTED ME FOR CHEMICAL CLEANING FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE AND CAHRGED AROUND 3000 Rs. THIS WAS MADE BY THEM BY COMPULSION. THE NEXT DAY THE MACHINE WENT OUT OF ORDER.

            THE COMPLAINTS ARE NOT BEEING ATTNDED BY THEM THE COMPALINT DOC NO IS 35067. AND THE SERVICE PERSON FROM THE PHONE NO ([protected]) IS NOT ATTENDIND MY PHONE CALLS. THE SERVICE CNENTER WAS REFUSING TO GIVE THE HO PHONE NUMBER WHEN MANAGED TO FIND THE PHONE NUMBER AND CALLED Whirlpool India Logo ... M/s Whirpool of India Ltd. Whirpool House Plot No. 40, Sector 44, Gurgaon – 122002. Haryana Tel.: PH[protected] ...THE CALLS ARE BEING DISCONECTED.

            I NEVER SEEN A COMPANY WITH THIS KIND OF ATTITUDE TOWARDS A CUSTOMER WHO PURCHASED A PREMIUM PRODUCT. I HAD SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH THEIR OEVEN ALSO. THE LOCAL SERVICE TEAM IS VERY RELUCANT TO ATTEND THE SERVICEAND THE WHIRLPOOL HO IS MERE SPECTATR FOR THIS.

            I WANT A EARY SOLUTION FROM THE COMAPNY WITH A BUY BACK OPTION. OR EXTENDED WARRANTY.

            Whirlpool - Washing Machine — Non response of Services

            Dear Sir,

            We have purchase Whirlpool Washing Machine on 02.05.11, Model Name & No (Superwash Spin 601). Now it is not working, while machine working some sound is coming and complaint to dealer and he ask me contact whirlpool customer care person,after that i call to customer care and register my complaints after registering complaints they send a person t o services, he came and check the problem and he said some screw problem want to change that and he said he will come with new screw he take that old one with him. two days past he did'nt come and infoemation from that side and again i register the complaint to customer care after that the same person came and he said the exact screw we are not getting so again he ask two days time to rectify the problem, but still so far he did'nt come and the problem has not rectify. please kindly help to rectify this problem.

            Whirlpool - Washing Machine — Cheating Network

            This is regarding a complaint againist a service engineer Kiran who works at sahakarnagar and reports to suneel ([protected]). Last month my wahing machine board crashed and I called up Kiran as he told me he will service and as its borad he willl replace the changed one once it gets damaged in future.

            I used to conatct customer care, as he promised and he serviced prioror to this case as well I trusted him and he replaced the board with a cost of 3300 + 280 of his service charege.. Now once again the board crashed and this Mr Kiran is not answetring the call, I called to customer care that time I noticed he dint updated previous service details.
            Now again I don’t want to shell the money, I need some body to resond on this and I hope I will get board replaced.

            Whirlpool will loose the brand name and customer satisfication if he continues in this.

              Whirlpool — It has been completely stopped

              I lodged complain on 7th December 2011 Since my washing is not working it has been completely stopped. My complain No. PN[protected]. my AMC is valid upto May 2012. Your technician came and show what was the problem and said the drum has to changed i will send our engineer tomorrow. But nobody came till date. I have been calling up the call centre[protected] everyday.

              I now request you to look into the matter and solve the problem today itself. Its urgent please.
              I bought a Whirlpool 415L refrigerator in May 2013. After a month it suddenly stopped cooling. Their engineer told that the compressor has gone faulty and the complete unit needs to be replaced. It has been over 10 days since then and the unit still hasn't been replaced. Whirlpool has been lying for over a week that they will soon replace it, but nothing has happened. I have called whirlpool area in-charge several times, but he hasn't responded & after 2-3 days stopped answering my calls. As it's summer season so it is almost impossible to manage without a refrigerator. I have already lost all the food almost worth 2-3k that was their earlier in the refrigerator.
              I am immensely disappointed in whirlpool's after sales service.

              I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT AS THEY CAN'T PROVIDE THE SERVICE.

                I brought double door whirlpool refrigerator 250Ltr on 05th May 2010 and paid complete amount eligible to get a pair of Reebok watches (1 Gents & 1Ladies) as a complimentary gift from Whirlpool.

                But till now I haven’t got the ladies watch. Whenever I enquire they are saying it would be received from Whirlpool Company in the next week not sure when would i get it.

                    I have purchased whirlpool 310 ltr Dlx iceberg model on feb 2008. The refrigerator is giving problem from last one month. loads of ice is getting formed in the freezer and the cooling in the lower compartment is not effective.So i doubt that it's auto defrost is not working. booked a complaint 2 weeks before with whirlpool mechanic. waiting him to come and rectify the problem.

                      Sir/Madam,



                      I would like to bring your kind notice that I bought a refrigerator(Model No. Mastermind Classic Plus 220 Lts) from M/s Bagga Electronics, Fraridabad (Haryana) on 10th of April 2010. After buying the refrigerator I came to know that the quality of the refrigerator is not upto the mark. In the hand book of the refrigerator, it is clearly mentioned that Ice will be available between 90-135 minutes. I am facing a problem with the refrigerator cooling. I have already raised a complaint for it to the customer care which are following:-

                      I am not satisfied with cooling of refrigerator. Company’s senior service head (engineers) Mr. Prakash and other engineers have visited more than 10 times to my home regarding the cooling of the refrigerator. They are not ready to accept that cooling is not good. They visit to my home and do some R&D and say now it is ok.



                      Today I had disucssion with M/s Bagga Electronics, Fraridabad (Haryana). The person of M/s Bagga Electronics, Fraridabad (Haryana) and Mr. Prakash (Senior Service Head , Faridabad) told me that it is not possible to make the Ice ready in 90-135 minute(I had word with othe people who have same model and they are getting the Ice in approx 2 hrs). The person told it will take more than 4 hrs. to make the Ice ready. Now there are two possibilities either the handbook is wrong which is issued by whirlpool india or the person is trying to make us fool who told me that it is not possible to make the Ice ready in 90-135 minutes.



                      I am very disappointed from you side, you are not serious to take any correct action to resolve this issue. Now this is my last warning to you and your company about the complaint. If my issue is not resolved with in 3 days then the rest of the responsibilities would be taken care from your side.



                      I will file two case in consumer forum regarding the issue as well as case for mantelly harasment from your side.

                        I purchased 180 ltr whirpool genius refrigrator model no:11893/dt:04/06/2010 in next showroom,subedar pet road, Nellore branch.
                        I had problem with frige left leg.on purchasing we saw it and asked them but they supplied the same piece afterwords we asked three times but we had no responce from shop owner.They told to ask to company we need need the service or other piece.We are not satisfied with this purchase.pls solve my problem.

                          worst customer careDear Sir,

                          it's not cooling properly since 1 week.
                          i called up to service station @ bhopal but no one turned up.
                          iam facing alot of inconvience.pl look into the matter.

                            i purchased a front loading washing machine which is giving hell of a problem from day 1 - in that when the operation comes to vibration mode the machine rattles so much with unbeatable noise and move away from the electrical pointy yhat the machine stops operation - the unit was purchased in hosur from vasanth & co and the with constant follow up the service people only tempoatily stops the ptoblem and again it starts with the same problem - for the last few months i am away from tamilnadu and only returning by 5th july - i want this problem to be sorted out before the expirry of the warranty peiod - i feel a factory mechanic could only solve tthe poblem - we are senior citizens and ind it extremely difficulty to manage with this major problem and in opeation it gives hell of a noise in virbation mode

                            i shall thank you to take up the matte and also let me have thei nearest facyoty address, conttacyt tel and emailid so that i can also visit them and impress the necessity to depute theit factory personnel - i feel they are not ready to accept that it is a defective unit - wherein they will have to replace

                            Whirlpool Washing Machine — faulty non operative new whirlpool washing machine

                            hi,
                            this is with regard of my new brand non operative whirpool washing machine, for which i suggest not to go for the bad product.i had a very bad experience bcuz of the
                            non coop from the concerned whirpool brand.
                            i am fed up for the product as the technicians & the greivances dept is not bother
                            after being purchase a new product it seem that i had been cheated.
                            & also i dont have the faith,
                            its name actually can be breifed as w h ir p o o l its mean chakraviyu

                              I purchased new Refrigerator new model 3 doors -300 Proton Black vide book no. 278 serial no. 13878 dated 11.06.2010 from Unique Electronics (regd.) shop no. 16 Central market, Lajpatnagar, Newdelhi-110024.
                              They delivered the same on the same night at my residence at first floor, at F 29 South extention -part-I ,Newdelhi-110049 and thenonly deliveryman has shown the pcs. Immediately we informed delivery man that the pc. purchased brand new bears scratch mark.

                              They told us that we have to contact manufacturer and lodge complain.

                              We made complaint on 12th June, and continuously thereafter and engineer visited and assured that within 4 days the fridge will be replaced. But there is no response thereafter. After our reminder people are not responding correctly and only assuring . My first complain regn. no. is 211.
                              We want to file necessary legal action against the breach of trust and negligence on the part of the manufacturer and shopkeeper.

                                I purchased a Whirlpool Washing Maching(Splash 5.5kg) from Big bazaar chinchwad,pune on 11th June 2010. As the product wasnt available with them, I was promised a delivery within 10 days. On 23rd June i got a call from the dealer saying that the product received by them was defective and that the model is no longer available. My request to refund the money to my account has not been considered and I have been asked to select another model. I would like to have a cash back as the model i requested was not delivered.

                                  I would like bring up to your notice about the unpleasant experience i have been having to deal with Whilpool.

                                  I bought Fusion 24 Premier Titanium model 230 litre refrigrator from a dealer in Bangalore on June 2nd. The refrigrator was delivered to me on June 5th. Whirlpool technician came over on June 7th and installed the refrigrator. He asked us to switch on the refrigrator after 2 hours. As soon as we switch on the refrigrator, the compressor started giving constant humming sound. We registered a complaint with whirlpool and the tecnician came over on June 9th and confirmed that the refgirator is defective one and has to be replaced. Since this day it has been very unpleasant and mental torture dealing with Whirlpool team.


                                  As an angry customer when i talked to whirlpool replacement team, i was treated with high disregard. I complained this with Customer care team and I was promised by the Whirlpool customer care team that the refrigrator would be replaced in 2 to 3 days. But it never happened and i stopped following up. On june 19th i got a call from Whirlpool and they said they are ready to deliver the refrigrator today. I told them very clearly that i would be available only after 5 pm. But they got the refrigrator to my home at 3 pm itself and called me. i told them i would be able to reach my home only at 5. They said they will wait and deliver it after 5 pm. After i reached home, i called them many times. They never picked up the call.


                                  After a fight with the replacement department they finally delivered the refrigrator on Jun 22nd. By this time, I was really frustrated by the whirlpool officials to the core that i decided i would never ever buy any whirlpool product. Today the technician came over and installed the refrigrator. There was another big dissappointment and frustration waiting for us. The main reason we bought Fusion 24 premier model is, they come with toughened glass trays/ but the one that was replace with has grilled trays. The broucher with the dealer clearly says only Fustion 24 Supreme model has grilled trays Fusion 24 Premier and Royal model has toughened glass trays. Now how do i trust Whirlpool has replace my new defective product wih a brand new product.I lost complete trust on whirlpool. I would like to return the product and get my money back. Please help me to return the product.

                                  I bought a whirlpool refrigerator F-410 Proton deluxe on 10 Jun 10 and within 2 months the fridge has become unservicable that is on 14 th aug 2010. On contacting the customer care on 14 evening 19:00 the response was we are closed contact in working hours. 15 th Aug tried to contact customer care again the response was disappointing as the customer care was closed because of 15 Aug. finally I could lodge a complaint on 16 morning complaint number 08100till now that is 15:30h no service engineer has even contacted me. Really disapppointing i would like to return this fridge and buy from some other firm who atleast has aproper service response. From past 48 hours I am without a fridge or even a response from whirlpool despite having spent 35000/- for a good refrigerator. and a response from whirlpool despite having spent 35000/- for a good refrigerator NEVER BUY ANY THING FROM WHIRLPOOL. REPEAT NEVER BUY ANY THING FROM WHIRLPOOL.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I had bought Whirlpool Iceberg range of referigerator model no. 9095 and serial no. INA05460779 on 26/03/2006 and since then it is regular problem, every year, starting from first few months of purchase same problem recurs, it is never solved properly just hit and trail method is adopted.

                                    My latest mail to whirlpool is enclosed below:

                                    It is in continuation of my complaint vide complaint no. 11957 since 14/04/2010 and again on 23/05/2010 vide 26243 my refrigerator Iceberg Model is again not cooling atall. It seems Whirlpool is interested only in selling its product by heavy campaigning but not capable of maintaining the product it sells!.

                                    Till date it seems only hit & trail method is going on which lasts for few days and then again the problem persists, your Engineers first diagnosed it to be a problem with Card and wasted 7-8 days in the process of procuring the card. (from God knows where)

                                    Subsequently on my insistence a Senior Engineer was sent who tried to resolve the issue by changing the sensor and next day another technician was sent to replace compressor, this technician cut opened the compressor and refilled the Gas and declared the problem resolved! ( He took away the replaced sensor).

                                    Within next 36 hours the problem resurfaced, another Engineer was despatched to replace the sensor, it was done and it worked for about 25-6 days and now we are back to square one.

                                    We were charged for Gas refilling but the diagnosis claimed it was sensor problem and another bill was raised for the same without refunding the gas charges! (which has not been paid, as Gas charges are not refunded)

                                    Now the fridge is again in comatose condition, wonder what would be the diagnosis now and how long will the experiments take place, but I am confidant in the meantime monsoon will start and problem will subside on its own.

                                    And icing on the cake is WHIRLPOOL so called customer centric organisation never reverts to the written complaints ever, a fit case for media to expose and make gullible future customers beaware.

                                      unsympathetic attitude to defective product

                                      Dear prospective Whirlpool buyer,

                                      Extremely poor quality products. Anyone planning to buy any whirlpool product Beaware and dont buy. Pathetic after sales response. You will only tear yr hair and have to buy a new replacement product if you make this mistake of buying whiirlpool product.

                                      I bought world series proton 3 door on 08 may 2010 after relacing my BPL of 10 years which was working just fine. the problems...

                                      We have a Whirlpool washing machine F65 bought in year 2006. Recently it showed an error 'de' on its panel. Dutifully, a ‘service personnel’ was called using the helpline (ph:[protected]. The Whirlpool service center is in a pathetic shape, having outsourced their work to some totally unreliable people. It has taken me an average 7 calls and 4 days to get someone from their service center. Well as the first service engineer turned up he said that the whole drum, shockers and paraphernalia will need to be changed and it would cost me about Rs 7000/-. After a thorough discussion he convinced us that this would help us solve the problem and we shall be happy for next 3-4 years, unless the electronic panel has some problem. We did pay them that money and the machine revved up. It worked fine for 3-4 days before showing that dreaded 'de' error. Calling them up again only worsened the averages I have mentioned about. As someone landed on the door, we were unfortunate that the error couldn't be re-produced. Due to the total lack of knowledge of the service engineer the matter was unconvincingly brushed over. These guys only know how to make customer fraudulently spend without knowing if it would really sort the issue. Problem stuck again on 17th and from that time even after making 10 calls to the company and innumerable assurances by the clueless call center people, I stand 6500 rupees poorer and with heaps of clothes waiting to be washed.
                                      It only shows that these service people were more focused on getting that seven odd thousand rupees out of my pocket and not on the issue. They have vanished without a trace and remain incommunicado.
                                      My service complaint number is HR[protected]. The funny part is that the whirlpool call center provides you with a satisfaction code to assure of the quality of delivery. Trust me these people have no clue how to run their operations, and you might be better off with any other manufacturer. This has been the most unsatisfying process I have been victim of.
                                      Please help in getting that money returned or my machine repaired.

                                      Whirlpool Washing Machine — deficiency in service

                                      washing machine sent for repair . bill charged . but defect not rectified . repeated reminders & calls to service centre not producing any result.. so called repair took 17 days . defect not rectified even after 1 & half month
                                      I have lodged a complaint no.DL[protected] dt.02.06.09. Washing machine is under warranty for 02 years, Mr. Om Prakash Engineer came to repair the washing machine but he has borken the plastic part ( base ). Next day Mr. Lalit came to repair the machine told me that your machine's base has been borken and it will not work. Mr. lalit told the customer care. The customer care representative has asked me to charge Rs.830/-. What is my fault.
                                      From the 1st day itself Whirlpool washing machine White magic Pro 700 s sixth sense giving problems. while spinning it makes 2-3 violent turns in circles and finally lands somewhere in the room on its choice, detaching waterline connection, electric cord. The whole room flooded. Incompetent technicians came and changed the parts. Even this morning we experienced a flood. Tired of complaining. Feel nightmare hearing whirlpool. Suggestion do't buy it which is better
