Dear Sir,

Before ten days I have sent you this mail but till date I did not get any resolution of a single problem.

For problem (1) There is a crack on FR RH Headlight fiber body. (Photograph enclosed), Your sales executive Miss Krimy has promised me to replace defective part. I left my vehicle at your workshop for two days but defective part did not replaced. Till date I am waiting for her call.



For problem (2) Finance scheme given by BAF executive is for new graphics bike which is costly then with old blue graphics bike, your sales executive Miss Krimy is telling that still we did not get the payment from BAF hence you will have to wait. She has given me an Invoice of Rs.98,439.00(Invoice No.R-000957,Date:30-Sep-2009).Without payment done how did you create the invoice and how many days should I wait for that difference amount?



For problem (3) I have driven my friend’s (Mr. Nikunj Mistry) R15 bought on 20th September from you, which is very smoother and silent then mine, for this problem I have left my vehicle at your workshop for two whole days but I found no difference. The idle speed RPM of my vehicle is more than 2000revolution per minute while the required reading given in R15 service book is[protected]r/min(page no. 6-14). Is it ok for maintaining my new vehicle?



For problem(4) Till date I did not get Rear View Mirrors and Front Number plate, for your information Vehicle is registered.









I am not enjoying with my new R15 at all because of these kind of response from your side and performance from the brand new Yamaha YZF R15( I hope its not second hand).





You are requested to give me reply and give resolution.

    I would be very polite if I would be saying that Yamaha Motors has a totally rubbish customer service in Bangalore. I literally don't have words to define the type of customer care these guys have in place...pathetic..horrible...lame..18th century..blah blah..

    When I bought a new FZ16..in January 2009, I was made to feel like as if they were doing a favor to me by selling the bike. The customer representative was so eager till the time I had not made any payment, that probably a cynic would be tempted to buy the bike then and there. And as soon as I paid them 60k (15k on delivery date), boy you should have seen there arrogance come into life. And finally, on the day of delivery, as expected I had a verbal fight with Orion motors, over the fact that I wanted to see the bike before making the final payment...and they won't let me...!!!..

    Over the last 8 months, I got the bike serviced at Orion Motors - Bangalore (the one opposite forum) 4 times, and each of the time, the bike was not even washed properly, forget about the things which I could not see at that time (like engine tuning, brake oil, etc). And the last time things got really ugly, when I had an argument with the service engineer over the washing issue and the validity of my free service - and I was literally shoved off the office with the service engineer shouting on me from behind.

    Absolutely rubbish this stuff. I start wondering what Yamaha does in these cases, as I have promptly given my feedback as "poor" everytime a Yamaha customer care representative has called. But, no changes whatsoever.

    I just start feeling that I should rather go back to owning a Pulsar rather than a Yamaha. At least, their service is way..way..way better than Yamaha's and their customer service is outstanding (I have had days when I have talked for over 2 hours with a bajaj service engineer, and that conversation did not turn into an argument).

    Hate to say this, but Yamaha has really left me no option than to become a Baja fan. Yamaha bikes are a definite "yes" over Bajaj's, but I don't think any of their customer is ready to loose out on the peace of his mind to a better bike.

    i have got a yamaha fazer on 22nd of sep.09'. though company is giving a scratch card offer, but till to day i have not get the offer though i have received a SMS from your company. the dealer repeatedly returning me saying that there is a lack of supply of card from your company.they are giving date after date. plz take necessery action for the above mentioned problem .
    Hi this is Vinay Sharma from new Delhi. I recently purchased a FZ 16 from Shiva Motors Delhi (Reg No: DL 5S AB 1303)and within a span of 3 months i found that the rear Alloy Wheel/RiM has got a slight bend in it. The bike hasnt even completed 3000 KMS yet, when i took the bike for the second serve they even refused to repair the alloy wheel. Its was realy bad to hear that yamaha does not provide any warranty for its Bikes.
    This is what the service center says. What Yamaha writes in their manual is that they provide warranty for 2 years or for 30, 000 kms but their service center's disagree to the fact. Moreover they say that they don't want to get into the mess of filling up that replacement form that they get form the company for their products.
    Please help me as am just pissed off. The bike is only 3 months old and they are not even ready to get that done.

    I totally agree that Orion Motor is the worst I have seen till now. I have R15 that costs more than a lakh and the service given by Orion Motors is PATHATIC. If you give bad feedback then they will ask to bring the bike for service again and guess...they charge again for the service!!! amazing...!!! Now it is more than 3 weeks that they are not able to resolve the starting trouble in bike and the bike that is more than a lakh is lying idle for more than 3 weeks!!! Wonder when someone in Orion Motors will get some sense that they are running bike sales and service not for bicycle!!! Even there is no response form the incharge there Mr Uday..he does not even picks call...forget returning your call. Hope Yamaha people wake up sometime and see what these people are doing to their market reputation.

    Panache enterprises in Indiranagar is no better. Their service and the way they treat customers is pathetic and lacks basic service sense. They act as if they are doing a favour by servicing our bikes, even the paid service. I have lost my tool kit there which I found out a little later and when I ahd gone back to ask them about it they just say you should have checked it when you got your bike back. They were the only ones who had my key for some time other than myself. Then after 1 month of my sixth service I see that my bike isn't starting. The reason I find out is that there is no water at all in the battery. They havn't even checked the water level during the service. Recently I had an accident and unfortunately had to go to them again. After alost 2 weeks of having my bike with them I test rode it to find that the speedometer is not working. They told me that there is some lose connection and it will be fine as and when I ride it. Crap, how can they say that? How can you give a customers bike back in not the best condition? later they tell me that some part is not working which they came to know at the last moment and they don't have it with them. So, I can come back again to have it replaced, at my cost. They also told me that they couldn't claim it for insurance as it doesn't come under insurance (crap, they did not find it out to claim when the insurance guy had come). I am sick of it. I was thinking of going to Orion motors which i had heard was good and I now read online that they are pathetic too. Is Yamaha even aware of what is happening? I would like to send this as a feedback too. I don't know where to go now for my bike service. Please help.

    I would like to draw your attention again regarding a problem with the after sale service at one of your dealer "Excellent Yamaha" 1, Shanti Sadan, 45, Telli Park Road, Andheri (east) Mumbai where I have purchased FZ 16 Registration No: MH-02- BK- 1512.

    Please find below my experience with my last paid service.

    1) Servicing is not carried out in a professional manner. It’s better if I wash it at home with a hose and clean it myself.

    2) They Charge us for filter and oil replacement, but when I checked the engine oil at home the same day, the oil was black and watery. I have been cheated by Excellent Yamaha and this matter is serious and could tarnish Yamaha India’s name. I have been using bikes since 23 years and never seen an unprofessional service center like Excellent Yamaha. This is day light robbery.

    3) The rear excel nut was lose and could easily maneuver it with my hands.

    Dear Sir,

    I would add to Zubin's Complaint.Excellent Yamaha (Andheri) is pathethic.

    They dont do the servicing properly...and the parts which we get from Yamaha company which would be replaceable by yamaha is not given to us on time and they keep on charging in very wrong methods.

    Yamaha R15 being expensive cannot be done at local mechanic store and we have got stuck now taking R15.

    I would never take yamha bike again.

    in Yamaha SS125 i have purchased 4months before run only 5000/-+ Kmt already getting noise in Engine
    i have left for repair in yamaha showroom that is Bangalore Wheels ( in Bangalore) on 11/10/2011 till
    today they have not rectified it. from the day one there is a leakage of Engine oil at upper portion of the
    Engine, they don't know how the clear the problem, this is very very bad experience with YAMAHA MOTORS
    The Orion Motor is one of the worst service center..

    I own SZX, I gave my bike for service at Orion motors who pretended as if they are best guys for Yamaha. I was give bike back after 9days say the issue is arrested.
    Soon after I realized that my bike was never fixed infact it's condition was worst. it was turning off while driving & giving me a milage btw 28~30. Already i was pissed of their delay and the way handle customer. I took my bike to near mechanic who showed me how these guys messed up with my jet screw (which is used to adjust milage)

    when i went back to let them know, In order to avoid re-work they wanted to keep bike for another for 4-5 days.. they said the pin was out of stock...
    I went 3 to 4 time to get the small pin fixed but I was sent back with disappointment.

    now when I left my bike for service I was told that they need to change my carburetor... can’t believe a bike of two year..can go bad to this extent that I spent close to 16k since I got Yamaha...
    To add to more I spoke to Yamaha's company's Engineer who is the head for service in Bangalore... he adviced me to get the bike fixed by paying extra money.. listen to what everOrion people say.. he was not even bother to know what was wrong!

    Yamaha has disappointed me. even with many attempts I was not able to bring pooor and pathic service to managements notice.
    My sincere advice not to go Orion... if possible even Yamaha it's self. This incident reminds me of a proverb " All glittering is not Gold"

    I guess.. .this way Honda always top in any automobiles. I was more disappointed as it was my first bike (brought of my own)... I made my choice with Yamaha just to discover only loss... utter waste of time and money in servicing.
    orion motors bangalore has one of the most horrible sales n services in all over india, i think the permit given to this [censored]ing showroom should be immediately terminated, people in this showroom are so [censored]ing mean and they only think about the money whether they have done the servicing or not they will make the bill so high, I asked them to change the clutch lever instead they have changed the cable that also without my consent.
    Hi I'm suneeth from bangalore, dear manufacturers of yamaha I'm looking to buy new r15 in bangalore and I booked it in ORION MOTORS. That time there was no any sales executive in that showroom and no one response properly. After that I booked r15 with 1000/- cash. Then one lady said that bike will be deliver after 15 days. After that when I came home my friend said about perfect raiders that day evening visit their they said they will give bike within 2days with some accessories. That's why i booked in perfect raiders. Immediately I called orion motors and I told them to cancel the order. Then that lady said they will give only half advance money (before they didn't said anything about it and they didn't mention anything in receipt also) that's why I called your karnataka yamaha representative and he convince me then he put conference call with orion motors manager he spoke with me very harsh. That people don't even know how to speak with customers. That's why I'm totally disappointed with yamaha dealers. After that Mr, avinash (perfect raiders) convince me for the reason I'm buying r15 in perfect raiders, otherwise I was planning to go for duke. Overall this complaint I'm giving you as feedback. You guys just teach them how communicate with customers

    Worst service center in banglore. I book my bike and paid advance amount almost 45days i wait but they didnt deliver. Finally i got from bangalore wheels rajaji nagar.

    i gave for service i ask them to change the bumper due to oil leak. They charged me 6500bugs. Ithin 2months again oil was leaking. I went to mechanic he ask me to chnge the bumper.. then u ask orion they said it was not change and they are not awarevthat last service was done by them. I showes the bill and blasted those supervisor they felt sorryvand again i paid 2000 for servicing.

    recently i gave for oil service for a longvtrip.. they chargedc700. Within 320 kms i got aound frm engine and i check oil its fully dried..

    hats off for yamaha to choose those type distributor and service center for only profit..

      i have continuos problems in my YAMAHA fz16.First of all my fz chain broken at the time of riding chain stuck in the engine luckly i escape from an accident.this case i inform the showroom,a showroom mechanic come & take to show room.they temporarly join the chain with a chain lock.i ride my bike 1 month with that temporarly chain lock the showroom staff told there has no chain stock in that showroom.

        Hello M/s Yamaha,

        This is to bring to your notice that my YAMAHA FZ16 facing white smoke from silencer from past 6 months.

        I bought this vechile from AMBAL MOTORS, Chennai on 27th OCT 2008.

        I have rushed to the dealer as soon as i come to know about the white smoke problem, reported to the chief mechanic Mr.Hussian in AMBAL MOTORS PVT LTD, Chennai.

        He asked me to leave the bike in the service center to reslove the problem.

        I regularly make calls to him and ask about the bike.

        He used to ignore my query.

        Finally after a period of a month they replaced the BORE and PISTON and gave the bike back.

        Then after two weeks the same problems arises.

        Exactly i do no where the problem rises. I do know what to do.

        Kindly some one get a solution for this issue.

        i am faceing the same prob.. i brought this bike on 14 feb 2008 now from last 2 days my bike starting smokeing white n the yamaha people r helping me to out of this problem they r saying the bike is perfectly all right.can any body tell me what 2 do????????????????????????

        its better u take your vehicles to a better mechanic workshop rather than authorized outlets..they at least assure a good service than the outlet...

            After regular services done at dealership,still since last 2-3 months bike is having of problem of jerk and sometimes stops in between road.

            All above causes so much of stress and concern as i ride on road,request to please get the issue ratified by your end on urgent basis.

            I have takan yamaha gladiator bike three months before, but unfortunately the registration paper has yet not achieved by me

            I bought YAMAHA bike on 10th may and i am still waiting for the registration certificate. All the time showroom manager told that this is late from the side of authority. Is it possible that authority dont want to issue RC or whatsoever the reason.

            Yahama - Gladiator motorbike — Customer Service

            Hi, I am Jerry L Vasdev. This is regarding the poor after sale service provided by yamaha, on their products. I was made to visit the service center 4 times for a simple servicing of my gladiator bike. The last time I was made to wait for 3 hrs where in the service techs were busy chatting and attending personal phone calls. After 3 hrs they managed to spend 10 mins changing the engine oil and oiling the chain. I was again asked to come the next day was washing the bike as there was no power in the service station. This was the worst kind of service I have ever received, and had to go through so much of hassel and wasting 3 hrs I had to come back without any result. Not to mention this was one of those free services which is part of the purchase contract.

            I have booked HONDA ACTIVA on 14th Feb 2009, Receipt No. 10223, Serial No. B13573, from Pratik Honda (Kunal Motors), Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

            Till today, after 9 MONTHS of booking, I am still awaiting for delivery. We came to know that main dealer is saleing bikes in Black Market with Higher Margin.

            Every time we ask of delivery the dealer guy's giving next week commitment...

            Can this forum help me out of this problem????

            But service is very poor technicians are not skill and there behaviour to customer is not good.

            We need bike Glass and backside indicator from last 6 Months but every time they reply wait...

            Nobody is setisfy with that agency everyone told me that he behaves like this.

              i am the owner of yamaha fz16 since 6 march 2009
              since last two months several problems have been developed in my bike.
              like excess heating of engine. low milage , disk brake lever and clutch malfunctioning.
              whenever i went for the servicing the staffs did'nt solve problems. they make excuses and say the bike is fine.
              they always say that engineers from yamaha will be provided to you but yet i
              did'nt meet any engineer

              Hi I too agree with your views. I recently bought a bike on 28th nov-2009 from perfect riders, bangalore. I maintained my bike properly upto 1st 1000km.But felt when i gave my bike for servicing ( 1st free servicing), they just washed it and gave itback without fine tuning or oiling. Thats why after running 200 more km now my bike produces "silencer breakdown " noise and sounds some other shrill sounds, even the chain looks rusted /reddish. I even contacted the service engineers but they say its due to bad oil. But honestly i have changed my oil 4 times but the issue is same..waiting for my 2nd free service( 3000km) as before that if i ask them to service they will charge it, it seems. Servicing is very poor by yahamaha. Yahamaha should be ashamed about such reports in forum.

              i purchased my bike on march 21st 2009 its been xellent since the last month, but now i am xperiencing sudden dip in milaege its reduced from 49/l to 38/l also the gear shifting is not smooth and silencer is producing high sound than never before..
              I Own a Fz16 bike for almost a year and i've been facing a problem with the bike's mileage. I have complained a lot of time while serivicing but no effect or no change.. there is also a strange noise from the tyre region, like a screeching noise.. please help

                Dear sir,

                I have purchased a Yamaha FZ16 on 17th,july2009 and in not more than two months a considerable issue o[censored]sage of substandard spare parts has came in front o[censored]s.

                Bike's rear wheel rim has got a crack in it and since there are tubeless tyres, air is passing through the crack of the rim. Earlier, I thought that its a manufacturing defect so obviously showroom people will definately take care of it but when I approached the showroom than the worker over there told us that they have three other complaints with the same trouble and this kind of trouble has occured due to poor roads of the city. He also said to us that nothing can be done in this from the company's side and we have to go for an insuerance claim only.

                In not more than two months, the rim which is such an important part of the bike's body has proven its substandart quality after getting a crack in not more than two months in it but what was more shoking was the attitude of the showroom people towards the issue as if it is a very regular case and this is not a fault on the company's part.

                But if thats what the company people think than they should provide complimentary rims to the customer right at the purchase of the vehicle or this should be told to the customer that this bike is not to be driven on the indian roads so they should all shift themselves to US or some other developed country as the rim will crack here after riding the bike over here.

                I was seeking a remedy by the company people in the showroom only but got badly dissapointed and had to choose this way to get the matter to the company's attentation. Kindly provide me with the suitable remedy as soon as possible.

                FZ's rims are really of poor quality and the same happened to me. First time I accepted their claim of accidental damage and claimed insurance for it. But it happened to me again, within one month of replacing the rim with a new one. The front rim also bent.

                I'm filing a case against Yamaha in the consumer forum. You can join in or file a case of your own. Anyways this article would help me in negating their claim that "no complaints are received about rims".

                Yamaha / Fz16 — Bad service and business loss

                As i visted many time at yahama service station in Panchkul regarding by FZ 16 bike service
                every time i visted they do check it properly

                at this time I refused to take delivery of the vehicle and said to make it ready and will take it once the bike is completely serviced. Till today i keep on calling service dept for the status and no service mechanics doesnt know the status and they say that they will call me and inform me the status.

                Even after speaking to the owner of the showroom who promised me that he will arrange the spare and get it done. Till today my vehicle is with the dealer and not yet ready.

                Hi, im Pranjal and i have had the same problem within 3 months...the front rim cracked...but i dont know what they are going 2 say about it! on the phone they are already talking about claiming insurance which is bad bcoz the warranty should cover it..

                Modern day Cars come with pedestrian safety, in which the front of the Car is designed such that in case of an impact, the pedestrian won't be hurt gravely.

                Similarly, Yamaha's alloy wheels are rigid upto a point. Post which they bend/break easily and take the impact in case of a crash.

                    I bought a YAMAHA FZ-S bike from YAMAHA BIKERZ showroom Nanganallur,Chennai on 10th July 2009 and the show room staff had handovered the bike and related documents to me except the RC Book which they asked me to come and collect after a month from the show room, but when I had gone there after a month to collect the RC Book they said that, "It has not yet arrived and they don't know when it will be coming" on forcing them they had asked me to come on the next week , again when I gone back to them the other week they gave another date and the same behaviour they followed for further weeks and till know I haven't got my RC Book in my hand and it had already crossed 2 months. Incase if I call them, they are not responding to me properly and disconnecting the call without answering to my question. I don't know when I will be getting my RC Book.

                    Hello sir,
                    I S.Rajshekhar own a vehicle of reputed brand YAMAHA MOTORS. I bought YAMAHA FZ16 on 14th feb 2009 at (sri srinivasa automobiles), opp sbi dondaparthy, VIZAG. And almost all my free servicing has been done to my vehicle and I am left with 1 free service coupon, as still my bike has a warranty period, and on 24st October 2009 the bike suddenly stopped at night, as the following day is 25th oct 2009 fall on Sunday so with the help of showroom mechanic (Srinu) on Monday 26th oct I have given the bike to check the complaint. And it turned to be wiring defect and totally the wiring kit and the speedo meter panel got spoiled. Mr. V. VENKAT (service manager) did not handled the case properly and said warranty will not be given and had to pay RS 3500 and take the wiring and new panel, and also said even the battery should be changed and have to pay for that as well, and the tie up with AMCO normal battery is given to my bike at the time of purchase and still the battery is under warranty and said will not be given by them as well and when we asked for the dry cell as given to other bikes but MR. Venkat said will try and adjust that battery its still working. The service engineer is least responsible towards the customer queries and said that he is not suppose to escalate this issue to the company. And before 24th oct jus 1 week before my free servicing has been done and I say that due to inefficiency of the staff and I consider MR. Venkat is the least responsible person working for a reputed company YAMAHA MOTORS. So I request to take this issue to be escalated to the RND (research and development) department to look into the problem to avoid such cases to come across in future, and I am sending you the attached photos of the wiring and looking foreword for the solution and the bike should be delivered as soon as possible, can mail to my mailing address or call me on my mobile number: [protected]. And I am waiting for the reply and the next action to be taken by YAMAHA MOTORS and not the dealer.

                    As I am the resident of Patancheru and i own a YAMAHA R15.i hav been to the pearl yamaha showroom located at bheeramguda for four to five times for the spares parts and for changing of tyres etc etc...
                    but the showroom guys never response positively they simply says its not available and should visit the kondapur showroom.So i kindly request you to take a immediate action regarding the lazyness of the showroom guys.

                      I own a FZ-16 i enjoyed its ride till starting of 6 months when i purchased it but from 2 months i am having a problem in my self start and when i went at Planet Yamaha Ahmedabad they said that there is problem in Carburretor and it has to be replaced but they are saying that i have purchased bike from other showroom so they can't replace it in warranty from there. My bike is in warranty till oct-09 and they are saying the warranty is not valid.whts this I am really serious for this problem please do something of this problem asa soon as possible.

                        I have Purchased Yamaha Fz-16, chasis no-ME121C[protected], engine no-21C1033256 on[protected] from your authorised dealer M/s.Auto World, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. I also have got it serviced as per your service schedule, untill now it has got serviced thrice.

                        I would like to bring to your notice that from the very beginning i have been facing problems like mobil leakage and lesser mileage.The Air mixture screw in the Carburator isn't working. The Carburator is also not functioning I have been complaining the same to the service centre but untill now they haven't took it seriously and haven't solve the problem yet. Whenever i ask them to solve the problem the service engineer there does some tuning like thing and tells it has been done.

                        I would like you to please look into this matter and help me out of this problem.

                        I would like to bring to your notice that from the very beginning i have been facing problems like lesser mileage (30 kmpl). I have been complaining the same to the service centre but untill now they haven't took it seriously and haven't solve the problem yet. Whenever i ask them to solve the problem the service engineer there does some tuning like thing and tells it has been done.

                        The riding is also not smooth now. At the speed of more than 50 kmph the ride becomes really rough.

                        from the day one i have not got mileage more than 30km/l.
                        i'm a student and this is proving to be heavy to my pockets.
                        i have complained at the dealers but they have not solved my problem yet!
                        i have not got milege NOT more than 30km/l
                        plz put case regarding the same in the comsume court if it say something different in the user manual and the brocher that u got while taking the bike, i believe this either make the company replace the bike or they would atleast chaange the carb and give u so that the mileage will improve and also the performance...

                          I was issued wrong vehicle number from a dealer named "Excellent yamaha", Telly gully, Andheri (E), Mumbai.
                          I rode this my bike for two months and when i went to collect my permanent RC book from the service centre it contained a different number, although rest of the specifications (chassis number etc) were correct.
                          And you would not believe the the co-incidence... a bike with the same number as my old
                          number had come for servicing that day. Everyone out there were shell shocked to see two bikes having
                          the same number standing next to each other.
                          This grave mistake by the dealers could have had serious consequences, could have even landed me into jail under charges of possessing a stolen bike or god knows what.

                          I hope some serious action is taken against there careless blokes.

                          Yamaha — Sounding Chain Shaft & Electric Start

                          I have got a same kinda issue. I am not sure whether its usual or unusual, however since my last service (4th Service) from SETCO, Though the bike is performing good, there is a sound coming from the chain shaft like 'tak tak tak' if I take out the bike from its still position for ride (after couple of hours of not using it) and the sound goes away during riding and also I had told them at that time of servicing that the Electric Start is giving me problem ( as recommended by Yahama the bike must get started within 5 attempts and do not keep the button pushed for more than 5 seconds or else visit your Yahama Dealer).

                          I have purchased this bike from SETCO itself and I never had any complaints regarding servicing in past. My last service was between 25th - 30th March 2010.

                          Please look into the matter and suggest. I will appreciate if you could directly contact me with any solution.

                            I own a Yamaha R15 since August 2008. I am very irritated by the service provided by the Yamaha Service centre. In the 5th service of my bike, they fit the rear wheel tilted which damaged the rear tyre. I informed the service centre manager about that.

                            In the 6th service of my bike again they forget to put a screw back. Yamaha is going to Kill their customer in road accident caused due to technical negligence.

                            I dont have time to go again and again there to cover their fault and negligence. I want them to come here, replace the damaged rear-tyre and put that screw back without causing any inconvenience to me.

                              i got bike bike one year back, i gave six service in yamaha show room in chennai chrompet branch, one service also i'm not satisfier because only after five days bike was good condition's. six day no pic up, lost off noise, chain was so so lose and no costumer service.

                              and one more think yamaha chrompet branch service manager was bad costumer service, fifteen back only i gave my sixth bike service, now bike condition was very bad, two days back i went that show room, i spoke with that that service manager he's telling some think chain spard was not good it will tack 2500 rs, there are looking money only not costumer srevice. his MOBILE number [protected].his name srinivasan

                                Hi,

                                Myself Alaya, working as a Dy. Manager in TATA Tele Services Ltd. I have given my bike (Model: RX-135), at Reliance automobiles of Durgapur(WB) on 31st of july. It has to undergo complete servicing. Before the day I had also asked for estimation and they had provided it. It was supposed to get completed and handed over to me by 6th of august.

                                On the day when I asked for my bike, they replied me that they have shortfall of one spare (i.e. Bore and piston unit) for which they have ordered for and asked me to bear for 4/5 more days. But till date I didn’t receive my bike.I have also touched with Mr. Ravi Rastogi for the same. All the people came in touch with me from Yamaha Motors kept on blank promises that it will be handed over to me very soon.

                                Today finally Mr. Rastogi replied me that either I have to go for an exchange of my bike or I have to wait till march’2010 to get my bike back.

                                Will u plz let me know the correct person along with phone number and email address to whom I should get in touch with for resolution of my problem?

                                If the company is not able to return my bike repaired, it should return it to me at the old condition for which I’m not going to pay a single penny.

                                  I am ardent biker and have been riding bikes since 1992. I have quite a bit of knowledge in regards to bikes. I bought my yamaha fz16 in jan 2009 and after the first service the bike is making terrible sounds which has increased in due time... even after requesting the service station of over 5 times to check there's no response... infact these guys are trying to convince me tht there are no such sounds and every other bike has the same,

                                  I have got different advices from these uneducated people starting from to buy a new silencer worth 8.000, get it welded wen there's so such confirmed issue and wen the mechanic has not even checked my bike, yet this guy named YUNUS he's advising me. How stupid of him to try.. These guys are so pathetic and will do anything to cheat honest looking customers like me. The Head NITIN even subtly tried to convey me that I am hearing sounds LOLZZ
                                  What they dont realise that in the process they are terribly hampering the Brand name Yamaha. and will soon start feeling the effects of their behavior...

                                  The service station I am refering too is in Pune .. Wakdewadi and belongs directly to Yamaha.
                                  The name of the service station head there is NITIN and their biggest con man there goes by the name of YUNUS.. All the rest are also in cahoots.. Please beware.

                                  I hope these guys suffer far more then what they are making us suffer.

                                  I bought my FZ16 in dec. 16 2008, I live in aurangabad city. There are many problems in my bike which aren't solved even after six services. The engineer which pays visit every month is not able to recognise the actual problem and afterwords tries to convince me that there is no such problem. I have found many other FZ16 owners who have identical problems which I have. Inspite of spending a lot of money on the bike, I am not satisfied with the perfomance of the bike.
                                  Dude,

                                  For all these kind of issues we have one called Consumer Protection cell. take these issues to them and let Yamaha India company also know whats happening with there proud product...hmm

                                    This bike is registered to my father's name.i got this bike six months ago. the bike was delivered to me in a very bad condition, it had sratches at many places, the choke lever was broken and the bike was already drivenfor 90 kms.there is no kick on this bike, therefore i had to face many problems while starting it in the morning in the absence of the choke lever. they got me a new choke lever after a month that too after my visiting them again and again. over that the service is worst, i am never satisfied with their service. they dont do much work, they just clean it up and lubricate the chain (there is no chain cover in this bike). i told them that want to see the servicing but they did not allow me. during the third service they got my bike washed after lubricating the chain. and they lubricated the chain with simple oil instead o[censored]sing the chain spray recommended by the company.this is the only dealer at my place(Bidar, Karnataka), another service centre is 150 kms away this is why i cann't go anywhere else. The dealer's name is Mr Kiran Chanda(Deepak Motors, Bidar, Karnataka-585401). This dealer got the bikes from Bangalore(Perfect Riders, Lalbagh), therefore i sent a complaint to the Bangalore's dealer through e-mail, but i got no reply. Please do something.

                                      I have bought a yamaha FZ-16 from oswal yamaha, azadpur, New Delhi in the mid of dec.After taking delivery of my bike while going to my home I noticed that my bike is not picking up speed.I was really shocked to see that this type of quality is given by Yamaha Motor India.Then i went to the showroom again to get my bike checked.They said 'no problem we will replace it after two days and you could use the bike..After using my bike for 4-5 days i again went to oswal and again i found that my bike'sis in same condition .This time i was disappointed & again the workshop person said to come after 5 days. was helplessed.Workshop person said this is not a problem & i checked the same in other bikes but this is the only problem in my bike.Now i am in a fix what to do.Plz help me as soon as possible.I could not think this type of quality is given by YAMAHA even in my dreams.It is really a very bad experience for me.

                                      Please bring the bike to our workshop in Patel Nagar and we will try to address the problem you are facing. It is not something which we have noticed in our bikes. Thanks
                                      purchase the bike on[protected]. it was ok during the time of delivery. but now a days i am facing some problems regarding the pickup & speed of the bike. after a ride of nearly 5-7 km. a burning smell is coming out from the engine part itself.. now everytime i want to ride my bike i fell little bit scared. i had been to the customer service center several times regarding the problem, but they are unable to sort-out the problem. plz do favour & get me out of this..

                                      MY YAMAHA SZR IS ONLY 13 MONTH OLD AND I GOT SOME MAJOR ENGINE PROBLEM AND SERVICE ENGINEER REFUSE TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM AT ANDHERI MIDC SERVICE STATION MUMBAI. HOW TO GET LEGAL ACTION PLEASE HELP

                                        I HAVE BEEN MADE A BOOKING FOR THE NEW YAMAHA FAZER ON THE 20TH JULY 2009 AT THE GURUNANAK AUTO LOUNGE AT PUNE. AT THE TIME OF BOOKING THE THE EXECUTIVE SAID THERE IS 15 DAYS WAITING FOR THE BIKE. I ACCEPTED TO WAIT FOR 15 DAYS. WHEN I CALLED THE 15TH DAY THE EXECUTIVE SAYS THAT IT WOULD TAKE MORE 3 DAYS TO COME. I ACCETED AGAIN TO WAIT. WHEN I CALLED THE 3RD DAY AFTER WAITING AGAIN HE SAYS THAT IT WOULD TAKE A WEEK MORE. I DIDNT MIND THIS TIME EVEN. AFTER WEEK THE THIS EXECUTIVE CALLS ME AND SAYS THAT YOU WOULD GET YOUR BIKE NEXT MONTH. ITS 18TH OF AUGUST STILL THE BIKE HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED AND I AM KEPT WAITING FOR NEXT WEEK. I REQUEST THE YAMAHA DEALER OF PUNE BRANCH TO PLEASE SOLVE THIS THING OTHERWISE YOUR AUTO LOUNGE WILL BE JUST A LOUNGE FOR YOUR EXECUTIVES NO CUSTOMER WOULD LIKE TO STEP INTO YOUR SHOWROOM.
