Hi,

I am having Yamha Bike, and i am very happy with the bike, but the service center of Gurgaon(Yamha Pickup wheels Pvt. Ltd.) is very very bad, no one is there to listen your problem, or solve out any of the problem of your bike. They simply try to pass the buck, and they work like govt. office. Simply they ask to come next day , next day and next day. After facing problem in service center i went to show room and talked to them, but situation is same there also. So please help ...

I bought Yamaha Fazer (Yamaha Pick up wheels pvt limited )in October 2010 however have recieved the permanent number till now. All the contact numbers of the agancy are switched off and they all already chaged 5000 as the late fees, i need help...

    i bought yamaha yzf r15 about 1 year ago............
    ever since i purchased this bike , it has only given me only problems ...........
    even after maintaining it so well, regular servicing,
    this bike is giving me nightmares.........
    unnecessary problems with speedometer sensors ......
    creeping device , i almost got changed it 5 times from authorised yahama dealer. still the problems persistes......

    this is no all............
    the main problem with r15 is with these low grade alloys and tyres.......
    in one year , this tyre has worn out like anything......
    i gets punctured every now and then.......
    i evenhave counted, it has got about 15-16 punctures till now .............

    it is totally pathetic situation ...............
    and last but not the least ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
    another problem., your company claims it will give mileage of atleast 35kmph. but , gotdamn,it is taking petrol like anything, 28kmph.

    even the dealers/service men are helpless.........................

    i cant bear with this ..........................

    it is pathetic, tht the brand like yamaha has not lived upto the expectations ..........
    i will not ever recommend yamaha to anyone of my aquaintances ............

    it is request from my side if you could take some necessary actions , and plz get me out of this mess..........

      I Own the FZ16 which i purchased 1 year 3 months ago. there seem to be issues with the Bike as in 1 my digital speedometre has crashed and also the center Bike suspension has cracked. Also the front bike suspensions seems to be too sensitive and keeps making noise even over the smallest of potholes. I also have a problem when the bike is in motion as it keeps killing the engine intermittently. This last problem has been serviced at the Service Center at Malad but i still have the same issue. I also have had several punchers in the back tyre which i had to change at my own cost as even that could not be exchanged.

      I honestly should not have so much to type as i have only owned this purchase for 1 year and 3 months.
      I will be voiceing my concerns at the service centre but i doubt they will consider as when another friend tried this out he was asked to pay for all the faulty parts as the warranty and free service period was over.

      Kindly review and advice if my current concerns of the digital display and the mono suspension spring can be exchanged without any costs. Contact me by email on [protected]@hotmail.com

        when i brought alba 106 motor cycle of yamaha company ,the dealer of our city TIRUPATI TRADERS told me that bike will give me long mileage in local it will give 60 km. & in long it will give 75/80 km. per liter .But after 6 free service it is given me very poor mileage in local 38 km.in long it gives me 42 km.After 2nd service this problem has been created.so many times i complained to dealer. But his technician of his service center dose not taken any positive action.Starting Problem a very big problem I faced daily in the morning & after 2 or 3 hour after starting problem has been created.

          i have a 2002 wolverine that has been backfiring through the carb i take the atv to swamp fox motorsports which is the local yamaha authorized dealer and service center in my area they had me to keep buying parts for it and they kept telling me they had no clue what was wrong with it but kept having me to buy more parts finally got tired of it and went to pick it up they acted like theywere pissed off when told them i was picking it up then they tried to charge $400.00 they had it for over a month only worked on it 5 hours thats when i got pissed
          that isnt the bad part when it came time to get it on the trailer i brought to take it home they had two high school boys come pushing it out to the trailer i ask them is it not running they didnt say a word just shoved it up on trailer and ran back in garage and shut the door which im pretty sure now that they were hiding from me because the temp was in 90s and theres no ac in the garage well i got up on it to crank it up it wouldnt start well it was out of gas so i took it home to put some gas in it still wouldnt start i tried calling them to talk to them couldnt get no answer gave up went to sleep
          This morning got to checking on it it had no spark and the parts i bought from there werent on it they were in the boxes they told me the old parts so i put the parts on myself still wont start tried calling them but they are closed today
          word of advice if you live neer princeton, wv do not buy from swamp fox motorsports and definitley do not get anything serviced there
          if this is the kind of places yamaha authorizes to service and sell its products i dont plan on using yamahas product or service anymore
          was planning on buying a yamaha sport quad in near future but dont know about it now.

          hi may name is mahtab alam and i buy a yamaha fz 16 from baba moters varanci in october 2008 after running 75 k.m i found licking shocker oil from shocker then i go to grand moters in allhabad they says that we will not atent your complaint just becaus i am not perches this bick by them they refer me baba moters varanci then i call to baba moters they says that your shocker will replace free of cost whithin seven days in allahabd then again i call them after seven days they says you have to come to varanci his workshop that is not esy to me at selling time they says servic and guaranty accepted to all yamaha service station but this is not tru i want to complaint attend in allahabad my contact no is [protected]
          i am ramswaroop yadav i have purches a bike FZ16 before one month from gurgaon delar ship name is yamaha pick up my bike break down on the way clutch rod break on the way machnic says open the engine but i dont want acccept this i want to replace my bike otherwise am going to consumer court plz solve my problem as soon as possible

          i have a yamaha fz16 and r15 as well.the eem pee motors in chandigarh are the dealers of yamaha.this is a true occuring with me when i went to the yamaha showroom..the staff was drinking liquor with the owner or the manager of the showroom.moreover when i enquired about the yamaha rider jacket, the manager was not only rude but started with a statement'its for 7200 Rs, as i asked him of xl size, he sd before he can get it for me he would like to see 7200 as advance, to my surprise.disgusting attitude and manners.he sd no one buys jacket in chandigarh cos people here dont have balls to pay 7200 rs for a jacket.i was shocked to the core.i had never met someone in my entire life such as the manager of the eem pee motors.before i went out i told him politely showing him 3 c/c cards including american express, 10, 000 cash and also told him what positin im working on.before leaving i also told him, people like u stand outside my house..if that was no yamaha showroom i would have shown him what happens when u dis respect someones integrity..i have filed a complaint in yamaha n im sure they will take some action on him for sure..also the service of eem pee motors is very bad...dont go there cos they change things to worst so that u keep comming back.even if the part is ok they would make u sweat..biggest chor in chandigarh are eem pee yamaha motors.
          I have my Yamaha Fz16 buy in November 09. Now bikes is creating so many problems like so many vibrations above 60 km/s, oil leakage from left side fork, Speedometer showing 0 reading 2-3 times from date of buying.

          When i got it serviced from authorised dealer (Naman motors, Panvel) He is saying we will replace the parts in next servicing (Like seal of fork, Speedometer) & he is telling this during every free servicing.

          Now he is saying your gurrantee of this part was expired & u have to get it replaced & you have to pay total cost of the spares.

          Pls help me as my bike is performing very bad.

            I have purchased yamaha gladiator in 2010 Feb from Perl yamaha Y-Junction Kukatpally. The byke is good in all aspects. But after every[protected] kms the problem starts till cervicing is done. The problem is when i start the vehicle and move up to 3 to 4 km the running is smoot, after 4 kms when i slow down the vehicle and apply the clutch the engine shuts off, after that the problem repeats when ever i slow down the vehicle. I observed this is happening when engine gets considerable heat. So if the give the vehicle for servicing(oil change and general servicing) the problem will be solved. Then after 2000 kms the problem once again starts. Now i am in 3rd serviceing period. So this problem forcing me to do servicing before its actual servicing period. I am giving my byke at yamaha service center only and they are using YAMALUBE-4T-20W-40S. The service man told that after every 1800 kms the engine oil gets thick so the engine gets heat heavily and then oil circulation becomes difficult, thats why engine getting off. I don't know whether this is valid reason. I always use Indian Oil Petrol only and in one same petrol bunk.
            It is difficult to change oil for every 1800 kms. It will increase my maintanance cost.

              I had purchased a Yamaha FZ 16 motorcycle for my son in the month of Jan' 2010 from Austin Distributors, 19 J.L. Nehru Road, Kolkata and I' sorry to say that from the very next month the motorcycle started giving endless trouble. My motorcycle is in the Austin service center since 6th July with no progress as the Yamaha company and Austin Distributor are both shrugging off their responsibility to repair my motorcycle which is still under warranty. They both promise to call to give me a feedback on the developements on my motorcycle, but those promises are never kept. I request the forum to kindly look into this matter and would be highly appreciated if given a favourable response.

                Dear Sir / Madam,

                I had purchased the Yamaha Clavinova CLP 230 model costing Rs.82000 - it is a digital piano. It carried a 5 year warranty as mentioned by the shop Furtados though no warranty card was issued! I have been facing problems with the pedal that regulates the sound sustenance - when I called the service centre in Pune (telephone no.[protected] I was spoken to very rudely and told that I have to bring the piano to their centre. This is certainly not feasible and the company must provide the service at the customer's place. It is too bulky to be carried, very risky to handle and also will cost a lost for the customer to carry it. Why can't the company simply send the technician to the customer's place? This must be addressed immediately

                  I bought yamaha fz-s in november 2009 MEHAR YAMAHA MOHALI. And after 2 or 3 months the chain is causing a lot of noise . And the chain is also not adjusted properly . So the bike is not running smooth. I also did complain in the service centre, but every time they asked me for lubrication . But the lubrication has been done in every service . And when i tell them that even after lubrication the problem has not been solved , then they tell me to buy a new chain. How it can happen ? What should i do ?? My frame number is ME121C[protected].                     I have a 2002 model Yamaha RXZ 5speed bike . It has a very good performance. But now, no spares have been selling for this bike as it is discontinued. This model have been stopped in 2003. There are only few shops that sells its spare parts and now they says that Yamaha is not accepting their order for its spare parts. Now yamaha has even stopped supply of its engine parts like PISONS,CYLINDERS,ENGINE MAIN BEARING,etc...without...

                    it is actual price of company or not,

                      Dear All,

                      Am typing right now the exact words of my friend who went to buy a bike at YAMAHA showroom. This is regarding yamaha showroom in Koparkarni, mumbai. When asked about registration mandatory documents the answers were very vague and the treatement is very rude. And are not providing clear information about the bikes as well [Went specifically for FZ - S]. Am not quiet sure if YAMAHA put up this showroom only for showing off or for selling too [Should have asked there but the manager is unavailable]. The behaviour was such a way that you get irritated... so much irriated that you will be tempted to use F- word but as an educated and sophisticated citizen with common sense unlike the illiterate sellers at that showroom, i controlled myself. And by the way.. if your bikes are selling way too many even then i guess its not ok to treat your customers like that.

                      Yamaha Mumbai — Pricing

                      Dear Sir,

                      Why is it that every Dealer in mumbai charge different rates for bikes.So also i dont know how but a local dealer charge me around 3000rs less than the auth,dealer.My friends also faced the same problem. When i enquired the rate for fazer from the dealer in vikrohli he gave me an onroad cost as 78,000 and when i enquired in andheri and The factory shop it is around 82,000.Is it that yamaha has no control on the price.Every local dealer in mumbai gives the bike in much cheaper i dont know how.can any one please help and let me know why there is a price difference And where should i buy my bike from an Auth dealer who is charging me more or a Mutil brand dealer who is giving me good rate so also he has even said that you buy the bike from any where yamaha will give you service.

                        I went 1st time to this showroom for getting service and i just asked that serviceman to adjust my meter. What he did is awfull to say, he tried do hard that he just broke my metere. Later on i realized that the man was drunk. And now he is not ready to get me new one. What should i do??.
                        I don't want my meter but just want to ask if YAMAHA people do care to read this"Do they think atleast once before giving contract to these people or they have any kind of control over them"

                          i have bought a bike of your company one unit name FZS. i am sory to say but i am very disapponted by the quality of your tyres which u have put in it i am talking about the rear tyre of the bike. one side of the tyre is totally warnout. what should i do i want to know about this matter and please can u send me the details of my tyres so i can check it that it is originally supplied by u. my chasiss no. is ME 121CO[protected] and also i just want to get replaced this by you..

                          i'm also agree . i have purchase fazar in khanna(ludhiana) my bike tyre also damaze in starting 2month. i have complaint the deailer but now after two month he tell me . u have to pay the carges of new tyre 3000rs .

                            My Name is Ajit Regall, I had purchased a Yamaha FZ-16 on 26 June 2009. Since the first service I had been explaining the service center (Venkatesha Motors) about the multiple issues I have with my motorcycle. I had a problem of Mileage, Gradual deflation of rear tyre, weakening clutch, Irregular mileage due to storage of fuel in the tank (possible evaporation of fuel from the tank). Everytime I tell the same complaints to the service centers and the issue is repeated since the issues are not addressed. Looks like they just clean the carburattor and wash the vehicle and deliver it to the customer. I have confirmed with other friends of mine who have Yamaha vehicles and apart from not clearing the customer issues they complain of misbehaviour by the service staff in other service centers across the city. I seriously doubt the credibility of Yamaha Motors towards the customers. My rear is a serious problem. I inflate the tyre in the morning with 32 psi, only to see it deflated to 22 to 24 psi the next morning. I hope atleast now Yamaha would take some action on their after sales service. I had responded to the SMS's from Yamaha on the satisifaction of Service but there was no responce from the team managing it.

                              On 25th of June 2010 (Friday), I went to the Yamaha Factory Shop (YFS) located at 15A, Mumbai-Pune Highway, Wakdewadi, Shivaji Nagar, Pune-411003, Phone:[protected]/137.
                              I wanted 2 get performa/quotation of Yamaha FZ-S.
                              In the showroom nobody came to attend me, so I asked a young man..may be a salesperson..he gave me the performa/quotation. I asked him about finance scheme..so he told me about finance also. He was in little hurry..may be his duty was getting over or something..(I went there around at 3.00pm)..I wanted to know the details of Yamaha FZ-S...I mean, bike's features..performance..and all other specialities of Yamaha FZ-S. But all salespersons were busy..I noticed that hardly any customer was there at that time. Then why they neglected me? I know it sounds egoistic..but I'm not that kind of person. Just imagine yourself in my place..my wife was also with me..the person who gave us performa/quotation, my wife asked him about test-ride of Yamaha FZ-S. He said there is no bike for test-ride available at that moment. But while entering to the showroom I saw there were three test-ride bikes parked out side the main entrance..and a customer was taking a test-ride. My wife asked the same salesman a pamphlet/brochure of Yamaha FZ-S..but he said that pamphlet/brochure is also not available. In the showroom there were two/three Yamaha FZ-S exhibited. Anxiously in excitement I went to a bike and I sat on bike's front seat. In the next moment, the person who gave me performa/quotation, said, "Baithna nahi.."("Don't seat..") I said sorry to him and got down. Then I left the showroom..but felt bad about it. My wife told me to ignore all that..so I'm almost normal now..but now I'm confused about buying Yamaha's any bike..!!!

                              Yamaha Factory outlet wakadewadi — Poor service

                              I purchased Bread liners for gladiator SS & after going to my personal garage i found out it was some other he gave me fazer break liners.

                              it cost me 488 rs while original cost was 125rs.

                              There is another service station at Kasarwadi, Pimpari chinchwad who is far more decent & superior.
                              I got same treatment when I had there first time as well as the time of delivery. They simply don't care the customers. I suggested my friend not to go with this showroom and get bike from "YAMAHA point" which is just before this showroom next to indian oil petrol pump. "YAMAHA point" has a value of customer.

                                OH MY GOD!!!! The last place to buy a yamaha bike in chennai would be Paras Yamaha store located in mount road! They are horrible, their attitude is horrible and the way they handle their customers, they make sure they spoil yamaha s name. I bought a yamaha fz-16 from there close to a year ago and since day one, i ve always had problems with them. They dont care i[censored] complain or even i[censored] sweet talk them to do the work, all they want is money.

                                I give my bike for service at the correct period mentiond in the company and still they somehow find a reason to cancel most of my free services.The people in the service centre are so grumpy and have absolutely no respect for customers. They fail to realise that we pay so much money to buy a yamaha and they treat the bike like !
                                Two incidents:
                                1. I went to the service center and told them i need to service my bike. they took down all the details and i had told them that my front disc was jamming and to fix it. I also told them to water wash the bike as they failed to the previous time. When i got it back on monday, the bike had 'nt been washed, my disc was jamming as usual and the person working over there wouldn even wipe my bike and give it. i had to run behind them for 30 min before they even tried to wipe my bike in a very disgusted manner and he expected a tip.

                                2.This one was the worst. I had to take the bike on a long distant tour for about 300km so i told them to do it up really good. As usual i found the bike not water washed and they didn even bother to clean the air filter. they took 250 for engine oil. around 170km, the bike stopped and the engine was over heated. i took it to a near by mechanic and found that they had never filled any oil and my air filter was clogged. i was so scared and furious.

                                Even i[censored] complain, they really dont give a . I really want to file a case with the consumer court and show yamaha, how Paras yamaha is spoiling their name!
                                Anybody from chennai who s reading this, please DO NOT buy a bike from Paras yamaha. Even i[censored] have, please get it serviced somewhere else.

                                  i have purchased Yamaha fz 16 bike from Paras yamaha vasai Showroom,and there was a noise from engine from the very first day but i was told that at the time of first free service it will be rectified and after that i have done two services till date but still bike has the same noise and its increasing day by day.So please look into the matter and do the needfull rectify the fault and repair the same or change the bike ASAP.

                                  YAMAHA FZ 16 — Unsatisfied in gear position

                                  I bought Yamaha FZ16 on 13th august 2010....Iam satisfied with my bike but...I feel uncomfortable while reducing the gear....the gear position should be little bit lower than it exists......this is my major problem while riding the bike.....

                                    Itook yamaha fz-16 model bike on 04.08.2009 my chassis no. ME121C[protected], Engine No.21C2009324 AND INVOICE NO. 2009/2010/121 the batterry they give with my bike started showing complaint after 5 months when i asked them to replace it they were telling that battery cannot be replaced as it is not in warrenty period. Dring the time of taking the bike they told battery is having a warranty of 1 year. kindly provide me a solution for this.

                                      I bought yamaha fz 16 on November 2008. The bike was good till one year after which i had a problem in front tyre like air leak between the rim and tyre.The air reduces and becomes 10 psi from 28 psi in one day. Since it is a tubeless tyre i took it to MRF people. They said there is leak in beeding so they scrathed some paint in the rim where the tyre sits on it. Then the bike was good for one month.
                                      Again the problem started.The air reduces and becomes 10 psi from 28 psi in one day. I took it to MRF again. But they sai the problem will rim and not with MRF tyre. so i took it to "SRI YAMAHA MOTORS" CHENNAI. Where they took one day and did the same scratching work on the paint and gave back the bike.
                                      They billed 150 rupees with 8% tax for this useless work and they promised there wont be any air leak. But there was ar leak on next day itself.
                                      Now wat shall i do with the YAMAHA rim?. Can i ask to change in warrenty ? It is all because of there low quality paint on the rim.

                                      This has been the most common problem with yamaha vehicles, ill-maintained service centres with rotten and no good service men.

                                      They are not equiped to support such a bike, if properly serviced the bike is a joy to ride.nevertheless its hard to happen, Yamaha is unable to sustain like bajaj or Hero Honda for the same reason.

                                      Hope their top honchos start using their brains to understand customers to sustain in the market.

                                      I have a Yamaha FZS myself and had to face the same ire, not even 1 year old and the tyre has lots its sheen and gets punctured frequently.

                                      I repent for wasting my hard earned money.
                                      Same problem happened with my new FZ v3 BS6 bike yet to be solved. At present, this bike is big burden for me cause It is needed to Air filling before every ride.
