my name is sachin ipurchase yamaha Fz-s from northen yamaha faridabad(Haryana).he After Sales Service of the bike is too bad the bike is running perfectly but at the time of service I really demoralized when I see my front wheeel is littel bit jam i always face new problem after service.my experiences with your dealer here in my city are not really good.

    Dear Sir,
    My brother has purchased a Yamaha bike SZX model on 25.10.2010 from a
    Yamaha authorised dealer at Rewa(M.P.) naming Sri Padma Motors vide
    invoice no.785 dated 25.10.2010. After a fortnight, he felt starting
    problem in the bike, then he rushed to the dealed. The dealed told him it
    will be checked during first service. At the time of first service, the
    dealer representive told my brother that there is a battery problem, you
    have to leave the bike till replacement received. My brother has left the
    bike with dealer and has repeatedly chased the dealer,but he only could
    get his bike after 15 days with replacement of so called new battery. The
    problem was again started from the very next day. He again rushed to the
    dealer by wasting his valuable buissiness time, but the dealer and his
    representative did not give proper response and misbehaved with my brother
    also.due to no provision of alternate arrangement of kick, it is very
    difficult toi start the bike with weak or faulty battery. The dealer told
    my brother that this problem can not be solved unless you ride 40-50 kms.
    per day. Now he is fedup with the bike and behaviour of dealer. Therefore
    it is requested that the matter may be viewed seriously and the problem of
    my brother may be solved personally by the yamaha area incharge consern.

      I purchased a yamaha fazer from Yamaha Riders, MG Road pune in August, 2010. I've ridden the bike for 9500kms and have availed the free service 5 times. I am not at all happy with the quality of the service. THe bike has become more noisy, persistent rear brake issues have not been solved after telling them so many times. After my recent service at 9000km the guys at the service centre said that the brake liner was broken and it had to be replaced, even after replacement there is not change in the braking and the brakes have started making more noise. The engine has become even more clunky. I am very depressed at the quality of service after spending so much money on it.

      I purchased a yamaha fazer from Yamaha Riders, G.T ROAD KHANNA(ludhiana) avtar show room in Nov, 2010. I've ridden the bike for 2500kms and have availed the free service 3 times.       Hi,

      I bought my Fazer-16 on 31.March.2011, and have done 3500kms on it. I love the bike, although it sometimes lack the power punch, the riding position, the torque curve, everything about it fits like a glove to my personality.

      But, I'm sorry to say the people working at my Servicing Station are ruining the experience. While TVS customers get pampered by having their bikes washed, checked, cleaned thoroughly, always leaving the customer free of any doubts he/she might have with the bike. My Yamaha Servicemen couldn't wait to 'just get it over with'. An attitude that seemed contagious. He was supposed to clean my air filters, the only thing he did was to open, wait a few minutes, look around to see if anyone's watching...put the seat back on, job done! He really did, I watched him freom a waiting room they have made for their so-called customers.

      At least he tightened my chain. That's the most I get out of the "JOBS TO BE CARRIED OUT DURING THE nTH FREE SERVICE" Well, that's the most anyone's got out of them too, since I've heard numerous friends of mine with a Yamaha complain of their terrible manners towards their customers.

      Not only me, but even my friends, think there's a vibration coming from the engine that makes a hissing sound when the revs climb higher. The engine of my bike, that is. When I asked the Servicemen over at Yamaha, they simply blamed in on, "No two engines are alike, nor do they sound alike", "Some engines were made in Indonesia. Yours come from a batch of Indian forged engines, so quality-wise, it cannot be the same". those were the actual words spoken to me. How can a customer feel like coming back to the place for the next Servicing?

      I love Yamaha because i think the Fazer series was built for me, and me only! So much common sense packed into one concept. The Fazer series has them all. But I really don't feel like going back to the Dealership for my next Servicing, let alone buy a new bike.

      I feel I've almost outgrown this cubic capacity and think of moving on with a larger capacity. I feel, quality-wise in fit and finish, Yamaha trounces Honda as Adidas trounces Reebok in their quality of presentation, a finished product so smooth and shiny, it glows. But if I have to chose between the two, I might be tempted to go for the latter and ride with peace of mind than having a bike you love, but maintaining it can be such a hell. Do you want to get married to the prettiest girl who will boost your image and ego so much that you forgive everything else like her lack of skills within the household and kitchens? Or would you swallow up your pride and marry the not so pretty one but who is a swell house-wife, caring for your family, then, you finally have a chance to relax?

      If they let their customers leave as satisfied and happy as the TVS Dealership does in our area, that would be the perfect marriage. A bride with the looks, and the skills to take care of you and your family, so you can relax while feeling satisfied and happy.

        I have a FZ-S. For the past 20 days my bike is stand still. My bike is not getting started.There might be some technical problem. I called the Yamaha factory shop in malad. But there was no response.I called them every day but i recieved a answer saying there are not enough people in the factory work shop. Finally i had to call the Manager who has assured me that the complaint will be attended.
        Also in the month of jan i went to andheri(mahakali) yamaha centre to service my bike. There one mechanic told me that the brake shoes of the bike has got teared. He suggested me to replace them. I said ok but i asked for the Yamaha original part. They were out of stock so they fitted the CHALU MAL in my bike. If the Yamaha people are not using the original parts then whats the use of paying them so much.They chit the customers. They dont attend the customers in a proper and professional way. I am thinking of selling my bike ang go for HONDA .

          I have purchased the Byke as per commitment from Vitesse Yamha Showroom as our workshop close to them as per their guidance our more people have purchased the byke from them.

          While running the byke, I have been lot of difficulties in driving the byke of YAMAHA Model No.SZ-X, after several reminders / call also meeting to showroom as they are near to us since Jan'2011 & there is no feedback / response, due to this I have returned at showroom & have acknowledgement.(Job Card No.7248 dtd.21Mar11)

          Informed them either you could return my money or replace byke urgently as I could not travel non availability of byke…

          Purchase details are as follows …..
          Sale Service Centre : VITESSE YAMAHA Invoice No.366 Dated.05th Nov’2010
          Model No.SZ-X Colour – RED Engine No – 54B1009182 Chassis No – ME154B019A2008790

          Colour on some of the parts of byke has been removed automatically, pictures has been provided
          1. Black color of handle near the key has been removed
          2. Red color of tank on top has been removed
          3. Black color below the engine has been removed
          4. Clutch problem since begining but they adjusting every time.
          5. Gear box problems ince begining was highlighted to them.

          Suffer lot of, need resolution urgently..

            I have purchased a motorcycle Yamaha Fazer (Red) Chassis no.ME145S01X92013962 from M/s. INDIA YAMAHA MOTOR PVT.LTD.GF 01-04, MGF MALL SAKET.NEW DELHI -17 on 15th October 2009.Vide Inv No. IYM/SK/09/000160.
            I regularly carried out services of the vehicle as per guidelines as recommended through Ahthd service center.
            I started getting lots of problems in this bike as

            1. Battery acid leakage problem occurred within 01 week caused body damage.

            2. Pick up problem & white smoke from engine with in 6 months & replaced the rings piston.
            3. Oil leak from head 3 time same problem with in 1 month its white smoke from engine after overhauling I sent my bike at ADARSH YAMAHA authrized service center for repair on 10/01/2011 , but according to the manager no parts were available.
            4. On 10/02/11 it was re sent to workshop till date I have not recd back after repair & even the bill of repair has been paid on 16.0.11 but vehicle is not delivered because they have lost my key which was having a remote of centre lock also.
            5. Now I am not in any status & without vehicle.
            6. With all above I am forced to approach Consumer forum for my harassments & compensations.
            7. All bills attached for your references


            Awaiting for an early reply and a suitable action to be taken.

              Dear Sir,
              I have purchased Yamaha R15 from jaipur(Rajasthan) and shifted it to vapi after my studies got over. Due to accident my bike's front fiber part has been damaged. I visited to yamaha dealer in vapi. instead of helping me out they said that i have to personally visit to surat or ahmedabad to buy this part. but due to busy schedule i am unable to go on working days. rest there is sunday when its closed.
              I repeatedly complaint about this to yamaha company's mail id ie., [protected]@yamaha-motor-india.com. but didnt got any positive response.
              I am very much satisfiedd with this product but not at all satisfied with after sales service.

              please help me out.

                my compaints:
                very bad behaviour of employees they dont talk to customers like that they dont need any customer because they think that our salary is sure given by franchisee owners not by customers.
                for example someone go to brar yahama to make new rc . customer tell that i want to new rc.then how much expenses for that. he say yar 3362 rupees lagn ge. then customer says how much of this expenses for tax, smart card, new rc. etc. then he reply to customer sir dekh lo je banwane hai ta ehne he paise lagn ge nahe ta hor kito banwa lo. this attitude shows how yahama can decrease there franchisee leval.

                  sir, i have bought a yamaha FZ on june 2010. the bike was very good froom the beginning. i had once taken it to a drive from madurai to chennai. en route i found that my bike gave only 20kmpl. so on reaching chennai i had given for 4th free service and asked them to mileage tune my bike. i took my bike and returned to madurai in twon months gap after they had tuned my bike. then i noticed that it gave around 45kmpl. but after reaching madurai, particularly after giving it for the next free service i found that my bike gave only 30kmpl. i had bought at Alagendran agencies, madurai and am servicing it there. i don't know whats the problem, so please guide me

                    this bike is very money eating bike, if the bike meets the accident then most of its body is broken.........its average is a killing our pocket.............and if tank is having the petrol than also its shows 1 dot or blank, so i don't come to know the amount of petrol........and it is very near to ground because of this it is not comfortable to ride on Indian............

                      I got very horrific experience from Vitesse Yamaha in Dhankavadi, Pune service center.( purcahse 5 moths back only in Octomber2010)
                      Since day one i face problem like disk break noise @the time of riding (without pressing breaks) , not silky/free wheel riding of front as well as rear wheel, leakage of oil from engine. For new bike only I got average like around >30only. Petrol fuel bar always showing blank or only one bar @any time on display. Because of that we didn’t come to know actual fuel in tank. It means I got faulty bike from your showroom and now I’m requesting for a change.

                      Also most of the customer has off on Saturday and Sunday only however @the time of servicing we didn’t get our bike on time that day and not even other day also. Telling thousand times also same problem still reaming in bike. So really don’t have idea is these service center guys really did service of bike or they just wash our bike (just bender of water means no one said it has been washed) and handover to customer. So try to keep service center open on Saturday and Sunday with increase number of count of well trained and faithful mechanics only. Because from most of the customers I heard “few of Mechanics change customers original parts of Yamaha bike and sold them to outside/to different people. So this should be stop in right away because it will be effect on your and Yamahas reputation.
                      Your kind attention and immediate reply on this matter is greatly appreciated..

                        yamaha showroom in himachal pradesh(gutkar) in not good enough,the persons working there are not aware of their work.the try to fool custmors by charging more for the accessories of bikes.even they dont fill up the coupens and afterwards refuse for warrenty. yamaha compney may b good but the dealers and showroom staff is not good.as these all things happened with me. so i want you to take strict action against it .....

                        Hi,
                        I am rohit shiva.Well i bought yamaha fZ 16...needless to say an awesome bike..But faced lots of problems from the showroom

                        1. Registrations weren t done on time
                        2. False promises were made. delivery not on time
                        3. I have still not got my permanent no.. So my bike is a showpiece now
                        4. Salespersons refused to attend afte they knew that i had made the cheque payment

                        The place where i bought the bike is The yamaha showroom in Malad. Near subkuch. They are pathetic. Their systems dont work for weeks. If somehow thru Fb the message can be reached. You can contact me 0n [protected]

                            I bought my Yamaha Fazer bike on 5th OCT 2009 and since the first servicing the fuel meter is not working accodingly ,i checked with the dealer they said the company is not providing the correct meter when thy will provide the meters will be replaced but it has been 1.5 yrs since the date of purchase .Moreover all of the consumers are facing with the same problem.

                              I have purchased a Yahama FZ 16 motorcycle in April last year.
                              Recently the bike has started to give problems related to the Battery and the Start-ups.
                              The engine suddenly stops even during speed of 45-50 kmphs.
                              The colour of the vehicle has started to fade off.
                              Several complaints have been mailed to the customer care have fallen on deaf ears.
                              Pse revert with the kind of action I can take on this issue.

                              Yamaha Motorcycle — Non delivery of luggage

                              I sent my bike Yamaha FZ on 13th Apr 2009 from Hyderabad to Thrissur, and I was also travelling on the same train 7230 Sabari Express (PNR[protected]. It was to be unloaded on 14th at Thrissur railway station as it was booked as luggage (Receipt no 756841 booked on 12th Apr 2009). When I reached Thrissur I ran to the luggage compartment and the scene I saw was beyond pathetic. My bike was beneath a huge heap of all kinds of giant packages.It was impossible for the people to unload it. and so the train left along with my bike. I have been nagging the parcel authorities for 4 days now. Somewhere inbetween I escalated it to the Dy Station Manager Commercial, he was kind enough to call Trivandrum Central (destination of train 7230)and Ernakulam North railway stations in my presence and to add to my distress I was informed that as per the records my bike has not reached either of the stations and that it must be lying on any platform at TVC. Thats not a positive response at all. Such irresponsibility from Indian Railways. Was my bike stolen or vandalised, will somebody at IR deliver my bike. The amount of money I spent and time I spent, Will IR compensate for that. I say IR should not only deliver my bike but also compensate for the irresponsibility. I will never ever send anything through IR again.

                                I am purchase Yamaha R15. after one month face staring problem. due to starting problem in my bike two time battery change, one time rectifier charger change, one time thermostat change, last time i mail to Yamaha customer care you return my money or repair bike, i submit my bike 16 feb 2011, and received 23 feb 2011.


                                after four day i face starting problem i contact service center . Mr om sharma and my bike send to another Yamaha service center with technician, then they check bike and inform me abnormal sound in cooling fan may be problem. after confirm Yamaha engg. they reply me on this problem but till date no contact.

                                last day i operate my bike 30 km/hr a child come in my front for safe child my bike contact with 6 inches wall due to that bike front rim 2 internal support are brake.bike top operating speed 130 Km/hr according Yamaha. so that i not able to trust this machine. so that i want my money back.

                                i suffering bike problem.last 5 month please solve this problem. i am attach mail copy to Yamaha customer care.

                                problem
                                1.Yamaha recommend gear box oil is 15w-50 in second service they replace it. 20w-40 and again use 15w-50.
                                2. in battery replacement service center take courier charge 2 time for battery one time 50,
                                another time 90 Rs ( 90 rupee bill available)
                                3.one time bike not start i push the bike for start and its fall down due to that damage 5060 Rs.

                                my name narendra singh negi. i bought your product yamaha r -15 from kota rajastha at chambal yamaha show room. after one month of purchase i face starting problem . many time i complain service centre one time you also last time. one time battery replace in my bike and another time thermocouple. but after one week problem same i compare my bike to another product like pulser ,dazzler,and other bike same run but they are no problem in starting. after that i decided your product is faulty or any other problem in my bike so that

                                i request finally you check it. and take corrective action. other wise you return my money .
                                i too much trust in yamaha machine after operation rajdoot and yamaha rx 100. but finally i lost.

                                yamaha R 15 — Engine

                                agar m 10 se 15 kilometer bike chalata hu gadi ekdum garam ho jati hai. company me dikhaya to 14000 ka dusra kharcha kiya but wo problem thik nahi kr ke diya wapis bola unko to koi responce nahi milta hai
                                I read that problem really faulty bike.And it is danger for biker, if 30kmph speed rim support brake. It is cause of fatal for biker.It is shameful for YAMAHA R-series bikes.

                                Service center already faulty why change gear box oil.


                                COMMENT: I m interested to purchase YAMAHA bike, but after read this problem, I never purchase
                                YAMAHA PRODUCTS.

                                Got r15 a 5 days ago.And it shows heat light only after 10-12 km.sometime just after 5-6 km in traffic. don't know whats is problem.Now don't know they will solve it free of cost or will charge huge for it.They brake my trust from yamaha now, its 6th day and heat signal shown me after 7 km only.

                                  I bought the new yamaha fazer on 18th march 2010. During the drive i felt scarcity of air in the rear tyre. And i noticed that the rear wheel pressure is lowering on each ride for more than 50kms to 15mm pressure. I reported this error to APCO YAMAHA CALICUT during my second service. On inspection they found a small bend on the side of the rear alloy wheel and asked me to claim the insurance for that. I am asking you that "is this the manner to treat the customers"? I am a nurse and my use of the bike is limitted. And i ride my bike very safely and cautiously. I had mailed to YAMAHA BACK OFFICE twice with the same complaints. Even though i received a feedback that the yamaha customer service executive will contact me.. NONE of them called me..I appreciate this service provided.Latter the officials from yamaha told me it wont cause further damage and so i can use the bike and only thing that i should do is to refill the air on each 100 kms. I went on doing the same. Now just within 1 year the rear wheel tyre blasted on last week and Thanks to God Almighhty that i am still alive. In this occaassion i deeply convey my deep gratitude and sincere thanks for yamaha for all the above helps..

                                    I have been purchase a yamaha fazer on 19.02.2010.at Rourkela Utkal
                                    Automotive.after some day i am facing different type of problem in my
                                    bike.Several time i spoke to service engineer of Bhuvaneswar Mr.Asish
                                    Rath,he is only giving the assurance on verbal but the problem is not
                                    shorted out till now.I am doing mention the problem below.


                                    1.Milage is going down day bu day.( 35km./pltr.)
                                    2.Curboretor is not doing properly and white smoke extract upto 5/6
                                    minutes while starting the engine.
                                    3.Engine is sounding.(may be from block head)
                                    4.Engine RPM is not standstill.
                                    5.Servicing is to poor due to proper mechanic.
                                    6.Service engineer not available at service centre.

                                      i have purchased yamaha fz s on 19 11 2010 from vitesse yamaha ,dhankavadi pune.for the last one month i am facing engine oil leakage problem.i have shown this issue to vitesse yamaha 3 times but no proper action has taken. still i am facing this problem and i am not at all satisfied with the customer service.

                                      yamaha-FZ — poor service

                                      i purchased ymaha -fz on jan1 2009
                                      at venkatesha motors hyderabad.
                                      the service being given is very poor and for silly complaints also they force us to install the new part ,instead of repairing it.
                                      recently because of the minor accident the handle bar had misaligned ,instead of aligning it company advise me to change the part.
                                      i request u to interfere in this.

                                      I have purchase my fzs from the same showroom and i am completely unsatisfied with their behavior.
                                      they made my name wrong in master card although i wrote correctly in forms everywhere they asked and kept my card for 6 month
                                      and returned me unchanged and uncorrected stating it cant be done and obviously i had done possibly 50 calls to ask the status in
                                      meanwhile .
                                      service staffs are not at all good in behavior and deeds, they didn't changed my parts and still argue with me that they have changed i
                                      must have forgot plus there work was also not upto the mark rather it was pathetic.

                                      overall service is very bad both from sales and service side.
                                      i advice fellow buyers to take care before going to vittesse.

                                      i have stopped visiting the showroom for servicing and for any other service.
                                      i don't want to see them

                                        I bought a Yamaha on 31 December 2010, the day i bought i found out that the rear brake light wasn't working just after i took the delivery,i took it to the service center after few hours and they charged me Rs 20 , but that is not a big deal,they said that it was my fault that i did not check when i took the delivery, but that is not fair, as the bike should have been in perfect condition when they give the delivery.Fine, I paid and i did not give negative feedback when the people from the company called me.. Today I took the bike for first free service and the first thing the supervisor told me was that he can not do it because i was supposed to go exactly after 1 month, not in a polite way.I requested him and explained to him that I have problems and I'm willing to pay fines for the 14 days delay if i have to. I work in a small office on a no work no pay basis so its a bit hard for me to leave the office as i loose about Rs 300 per day. Anyway I took leave today as i had a feeling that something like that might happen after my first encounter with the service center.After that he told me that the delivery will be made at 3. So i waited at the lounge and I saw that some bikes that came after me was being worked at and mine wasn't,so at around 2.30 I asked the supervisor if my bike was going next,to my surprise he talked to me in a very bad way telling me to go and come at the time he gave me, and i was offended.So i asked his name to the guard and thought I will talk to the manager about it, but i let it go.After few minutes he came in where i was sitting and asked which bike was mine,I showed him and at around 4.30 my bike was delivered.still wet unpolished .He did not test drive nor he told me to test drive before delivery as he did with everyone. As I was returning I found out that the problems that i had in the bike was still there which I told them about when I gave it and also now i have worse additional problems on my bike which wasn't there before i took it there.Was it because I asked his name? I'm thinking whether I should go back and tell about those problems in my bike and what if they make it worse? And now that I've sent negative feedback here in consumer forum,what if they do something worse in the next service if they find out.I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't complain fearing the outcome on their bikes. I'm afraid. HELP . I really love my bike .
