I am purchase Yamaha R15. after one month face staring problem. due to starting problem in my bike two time battery change, one time rectifier charger change, one time thermostat change, last time i mail to Yamaha customer care you return my money or repair bike, i submit my bike 16 feb 2011, and received 23 feb 2011.


after four day i face starting problem i contact service center . Mr om sharma and my bike send to another Yamaha service center with technician, then they check bike and inform me abnormal sound in cooling fan may be problem. after confirm Yamaha engg. they reply me on this problem but till date no contact.

last day i operate my bike 30 km/hr a child come in my front for safe child my bike contact with 6 inches wall due to that bike front rim 2 internal support are brake.bike top operating speed 130 Km/hr according Yamaha. so that i not able to trust this machine. so that i want my money back.

i suffering bike problem.last 5 month please solve this problem. i am attach mail copy to Yamaha customer care.

problem
1.Yamaha recommend gear box oil is 15w-50 in second service they replace it. 20w-40 and again use 15w-50.
2. in battery replacement service center take courier charge 2 time for battery one time 50,
another time 90 Rs ( 90 rupee bill available)
3.one time bike not start i push the bike for start and its fall down due to that damage 5060 Rs.

my name narendra singh negi. i bought your product yamaha r -15 from kota rajastha at chambal yamaha show room. after one month of purchase i face starting problem . many time i complain service centre one time you also last time. one time battery replace in my bike and another time thermocouple. but after one week problem same i compare my bike to another product like pulser ,dazzler,and other bike same run but they are no problem in starting. after that i decided your product is faulty or any other problem in my bike so that

i request finally you check it. and take corrective action. other wise you return my money .
i too much trust in yamaha machine after operation rajdoot and yamaha rx 100. but finally i lost.

yamaha R 15 — Engine

agar m 10 se 15 kilometer bike chalata hu gadi ekdum garam ho jati hai. company me dikhaya to 14000 ka dusra kharcha kiya but wo problem thik nahi kr ke diya wapis bola unko to koi responce nahi milta hai
I read that problem really faulty bike.And it is danger for biker, if 30kmph speed rim support brake. It is cause of fatal for biker.It is shameful for YAMAHA R-series bikes.

Service center already faulty why change gear box oil.


COMMENT: I m interested to purchase YAMAHA bike, but after read this problem, I never purchase
YAMAHA PRODUCTS.

Got r15 a 5 days ago.And it shows heat light only after 10-12 km.sometime just after 5-6 km in traffic. don't know whats is problem.Now don't know they will solve it free of cost or will charge huge for it.They brake my trust from yamaha now, its 6th day and heat signal shown me after 7 km only.

    I bought the new yamaha fazer on 18th march 2010. During the drive i felt scarcity of air in the rear tyre. And i noticed that the rear wheel pressure is lowering on each ride for more than 50kms to 15mm pressure. I reported this error to APCO YAMAHA CALICUT during my second service. On inspection they found a small bend on the side of the rear alloy wheel and asked me to claim the insurance for that. I am asking you that "is this the manner to treat the customers"? I am a nurse and my use of the bike is limitted. And i ride my bike very safely and cautiously. I had mailed to YAMAHA BACK OFFICE twice with the same complaints. Even though i received a feedback that the yamaha customer service executive will contact me.. NONE of them called me..I appreciate this service provided.Latter the officials from yamaha told me it wont cause further damage and so i can use the bike and only thing that i should do is to refill the air on each 100 kms. I went on doing the same. Now just within 1 year the rear wheel tyre blasted on last week and Thanks to God Almighhty that i am still alive. In this occaassion i deeply convey my deep gratitude and sincere thanks for yamaha for all the above helps..

      I have been purchase a yamaha fazer on 19.02.2010.at Rourkela Utkal
      Automotive.after some day i am facing different type of problem in my
      bike.Several time i spoke to service engineer of Bhuvaneswar Mr.Asish
      Rath,he is only giving the assurance on verbal but the problem is not
      shorted out till now.I am doing mention the problem below.


      1.Milage is going down day bu day.( 35km./pltr.)
      2.Curboretor is not doing properly and white smoke extract upto 5/6
      minutes while starting the engine.
      3.Engine is sounding.(may be from block head)
      4.Engine RPM is not standstill.
      5.Servicing is to poor due to proper mechanic.
      6.Service engineer not available at service centre.

        i have purchased yamaha fz s on 19 11 2010 from vitesse yamaha ,dhankavadi pune.for the last one month i am facing engine oil leakage problem.i have shown this issue to vitesse yamaha 3 times but no proper action has taken. still i am facing this problem and i am not at all satisfied with the customer service.

        yamaha-FZ — poor service

        i purchased ymaha -fz on jan1 2009
        at venkatesha motors hyderabad.
        the service being given is very poor and for silly complaints also they force us to install the new part ,instead of repairing it.
        recently because of the minor accident the handle bar had misaligned ,instead of aligning it company advise me to change the part.
        i request u to interfere in this.

        I have purchase my fzs from the same showroom and i am completely unsatisfied with their behavior.
        they made my name wrong in master card although i wrote correctly in forms everywhere they asked and kept my card for 6 month
        and returned me unchanged and uncorrected stating it cant be done and obviously i had done possibly 50 calls to ask the status in
        meanwhile .
        service staffs are not at all good in behavior and deeds, they didn't changed my parts and still argue with me that they have changed i
        must have forgot plus there work was also not upto the mark rather it was pathetic.

        overall service is very bad both from sales and service side.
        i advice fellow buyers to take care before going to vittesse.

        i have stopped visiting the showroom for servicing and for any other service.
        i don't want to see them

          I bought a Yamaha on 31 December 2010, the day i bought i found out that the rear brake light wasn't working just after i took the delivery,i took it to the service center after few hours and they charged me Rs 20 , but that is not a big deal,they said that it was my fault that i did not check when i took the delivery, but that is not fair, as the bike should have been in perfect condition when they give the delivery.Fine, I paid and i did not give negative feedback when the people from the company called me.. Today I took the bike for first free service and the first thing the supervisor told me was that he can not do it because i was supposed to go exactly after 1 month, not in a polite way.I requested him and explained to him that I have problems and I'm willing to pay fines for the 14 days delay if i have to. I work in a small office on a no work no pay basis so its a bit hard for me to leave the office as i loose about Rs 300 per day. Anyway I took leave today as i had a feeling that something like that might happen after my first encounter with the service center.After that he told me that the delivery will be made at 3. So i waited at the lounge and I saw that some bikes that came after me was being worked at and mine wasn't,so at around 2.30 I asked the supervisor if my bike was going next,to my surprise he talked to me in a very bad way telling me to go and come at the time he gave me, and i was offended.So i asked his name to the guard and thought I will talk to the manager about it, but i let it go.After few minutes he came in where i was sitting and asked which bike was mine,I showed him and at around 4.30 my bike was delivered.still wet unpolished .He did not test drive nor he told me to test drive before delivery as he did with everyone. As I was returning I found out that the problems that i had in the bike was still there which I told them about when I gave it and also now i have worse additional problems on my bike which wasn't there before i took it there.Was it because I asked his name? I'm thinking whether I should go back and tell about those problems in my bike and what if they make it worse? And now that I've sent negative feedback here in consumer forum,what if they do something worse in the next service if they find out.I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't complain fearing the outcome on their bikes. I'm afraid. HELP . I really love my bike .

            Hi, am varghese. my bike is yamahar15.one day while am driving bike suddenly off. it doesnot start. igive my bike on cheerans service centre thrissur(kerala).after one week they told bike shows some missing.nw one month over they dont know what is the complaint?what can i do? i took this bike because of brand yamaha but, the customers can't got proper services what is the use of company. so i had a request for company to appoint proper engineers in service centers.please take action against it soon as possible.

              I bought a brand new yamaha FZ-S on[protected] in SENTHIL KUMAR AUTO AGENCY,DHARMAPURI soon after a month i gave my bike for service at the same place(SENTHIL KUMAR AUTO AGENCY,DHARMAPURI ) just they washed my bike,Even they didn't ask for any complaints just washed and charged 110 rupees for washing my motor cycle.the service is very poor and even they dont know how to treat customer's and taking rubbish....

                I have purchased new yamaha SZ-R DISC BRAKES on 2nd Feb 2011 from that vary day I went to my dealor ms Tayalco Motors 3 times for its ignition and combuntion problem without any success.

                My byke suddenly stops in the middle of the road and I am unable to start as switch start system (byke come without kick start) fails and horn also fails with headlight and tail light. I had complaint the same 3 times to my dealor within a week , every time he assures that this will never happen again and I am facing hell of trouble after purchasing this good for nothing byke.

                  sir i hav a yamaha fazer 150cc bike. i hav buyed it in 2009 26 november. after 6 month its start giving problem while starting the engine.then i take it to the service centre they told me that your engine block is damaged. u hav 2yrs warranty in bike so u will get it replace nd told me to came after 2 month. i went again after 2 month again they told me to come after 1 month again.by donig this 8 month went but they did not giving me any response just always giving me time.so, sir i kindly request u to take some legal action.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I Bought Yamaha SZ-R dated 13.01.2011. Agency Name: Jain Motors (North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai.). That agency service very very poor, simply they are return back the vechile. Already they serviced 2 times, but my problem is not retifyed. That Service station incharge spoke to me like Cheif Minister... So, Please solve my problems. u r not solve my problem i go to consumer Court... my bike problems is
                    1. Gear is very hard,
                    2. Front disc Break properly not working,
                    3.Vechile runing condition is not sharp...
                    so, please tell me where i go to pakka service station. Do the need fill at the earliest.

                      my yamaha sz i got it as a gift 4m my mom and dad there was smoke coming 4m my silencer i told those the change my engine but i have problem with my mileage now yamaha is a total [censored]up
                      yahama is all balls
                      My Yamaha SZ R has two brakes(disc and drum) applied n makes a irritating noise.

                      Then after 60km/p speed the engine is vibrating.
                      service s worst now my gear shift s getting stuck at times and the irritating noise during brakes s so annoying i feel like some metal s disturbing my fork while breaking
                      my yamaha sz parcase in november 2010, pik problem, and sarvise problem in franchaici not avialabal in part of sz i want clutch cabal i am wait in 20 days, but not recive me cabale in store.
                      I am Having Yamaha SZ-R this bike not at giving millage one liter petrol R 67 but this bike giving millage when your riding in 40-50 speed its millage is only 42 KMPL

                      Same when you Ride this bike with 60-70 speed its millage is 35 KMPL Only

                      Yamaha has to give me Money back
                      facing same problem, as my yamaha sz frends..the yamaha engineers cant even rectify those problems, shame on it.
                      yamaha sz series are 153cc range bikes, but pass light is absent.It is the first outlook demand what customer wants.

                        I had purchased my Yamaha FZ16 from HARIOM YAMAHA raisen road BHOPAL(M.P.). on[protected].
                        On 3rd of of october,i placed my bike to the company for servicing and repairing as i had met with an accident on 1st of oct and my bike was completely damaged in the accident.
                        They had given me a time of 15 days for its complete recovery. After 15 days,when i went there,they told me that there is a shortage of parts and because of there workshop maintainance, they told me to come after 20 days. After that also,there excuses are same for not repairing my bike. Now more than 1 months has been passed away,In between the time,i went there 15 to 20 times.

                        1. I claim for my bike from NEW INDIA INSURANCE and when the surver from the insurance office comes, Showroom employees didn't inform me and didn't make a proper survey and signed as AGREE on claim paper when the surveyer comes.. But i neglect this thing.
                        But after that they told me that your disk plate, Tee, RK/RB kit was totally damaged and have to be CHANGED and all these parts they didn't mention in the estimate, they given me at the time of claim.

                        Finally, on 21th of Noveber, they told me to take away my bike back from the company's service centre in the n when i walked there i noticed that they changed my TANK SIDE COVER, SILENCER COVER, BATTERY, 1 of the SHOCKUPS.. and when i told for these changes done in my bike, they told me that they all are your bikes original parts which they found..
                        When i tell that my bike's BATTERY is of AMCO and my battery no. is that, they told that they didin't find any AMCO battery in my bike, and told me to take an old EXIDES battery otherwise move away.. and if they changed anything more so i dont know.
                        Now what can i do?

                              I m having Yamaha Gladiator 2007 Model. Past two more years i facing below listed problem's.

                              1. Jerking Problem (while reduce the speed from 40 to 20 i getting jerking) this problem my self several time explained to Yamaha service centers no results out come.
                              2. When suddenly using the Front break the front wheel aligning in the road automatically like left to right.
                              3. Engine sound compare other 125 CC vehicle the engine sound is more day by day.

                                I Purchased yamaha fz16 on 19 january but still not satisfied firstly they do not hav parts and if they r havng the parts they r not in working condition.. i asked them to change the fuel gauge of my bike they change the fuel but after 5 min it stopped working nd i went again to them to change the fuel gauge they said
                                we cannot change... Even the handle are not manufactured properly theyare made of low quality material..i hope you will take action against them

                                  i purchased a product from a company name yamaha ,,,,,,,i hve r15, 6months old yellow color, it is no doubt a very good ride , bt some days before it got a major problem in it.my bike is missing a lot ,,means its doing a mistake through engine. the problem is going frm last 2 months and whnever i go to showroom for service,they even cnt catch the mistake a says "ur bike has no mistake sir put some petrol in it" i m frustrated with the service centre of "mp nagar yamaha showroom" ,,,,,,my bike is in warranty and it has to be replaced soon or else a strict action would be taken from this side ,,,,,,,,,,,,kindly look after and let me know ur decision ,,,,,one more thing although my bike is 6months old bt it runs only 4800km thts it..

                                  Dear sir,

                                  this is a very common problem with all motorbikes fitted with fuel injection technology. Maintain atleast 2 litres of petrol.
                                  Use good quality fuel only, 98 octane .

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I own a 2009 model Yamaha Fazer bike. Recently it has developed a leak in the front shock absorber and the oil seal needs to be replaced. Also the chain -socket combination needs to be replaced, but these spares are not available in any of the cities in India. I know a lot of people facing the same issue and most of the bikes are now in unusable condition due to unavailability of spares.
                                    Can this issue be handled through this forum.

                                    I own a Yamaha SZ R bike. I had an accident last year and my bike's BACK MUDGUARD was broken.I want these to be replaced, I asked in many showrooms, I am looking for it from the date of accident but this spare is not available.what should I DO?.I know a lot of people facing the same issue and most of the bikes are now in unusable condition due to unavailability of spares.

                                      Hi,

                                      i have purchased a Yamaha FZ-S bike in October`2010. it does not start in winters. When i take my bike to Yamaha service center they told me that it will work fine after winters.

                                      I even told them that this seems to be manufacturing defect and should be rectified to which they replied sarcastically asking me to lodge a complaint with Yamaha.

                                      Yamaha also don`t seen to respond, i am felling very helpless and cheated.
                                      Please help me out with this as i am not able to use only means of my conveyance.

                                        I have not seen such a worst Servicing center like Yamaha Service center in Thoraipakkam, Chennai. I went to change Brake Lever and have a water wash. I was asked to wait in customer lounge for an hour. I waited but no one ever cared about the service to my bike. After waiting for 1.30 hrs, I was shocked to see that my bike was still in the place where i left. And I saw many customers shouting at the mechanic for their worst service. The Yamaha people didnt care about their shoutings and started showing hands to other people for their mistake without caring to rectify the mistake. The Worst case happened was, the Yamaha Dealer ( Owner) arrived and saw the shoutings of customer & he started shouting at the customers by asking them to wait. I didnt expect that a world class Two wheeler manufacturer like Yamaha can treat their customers like that. Very worst service by YAMAHA. Each and every customers are complaining and not willing to take their bikes back. At the last, My bike was not washed properly. And the Yamaha people took 3.5 hrs for just washing my bike.... I didnt expect this from YAMAHA.

                                        i very much agree with you.I bought a bike (Yamaha fz-s) from there because it was very near to my house n office.But it was a bad decision.There servicing is really pathetic.
                                        They will note all your problems but correct none.I had problems with my shock absorbers and gear shifting but after telling them for two servicing they haven't corrected that till yet.Very poor.And the owner comes and shouts at you as if he is doing a charity and giving you the bike for free!!!
                                        they are very courteous till u buy the bike but after that they don't even notice u..almost 80% ppl that have bought bike from there have the same complaint.
                                        can ne1 suggest a service center in Chennai for Yamaha were they actually do good Servicing!!!
