I m Owner of Yamaha FZ- 16 now my bike is completed 2yrs on 28th nov 2010.my sales and service dealer is Excellent Yamaha which is located in Heart of city Andheri they r saleing there bike but no parts available for six -seven months. I m bike lover hard corer tourer i travel different different places in india this may i gone LEH after back from der i m having problem wid Chain spocket but before that when my completed 10000kms i asked them for chain spocket they said come in next month then aftr coming back from LEH i giving daily visit to workshop but still i m not getting the chain spocket and not only that they dont have minor part also for E.g : oil piston for fornt break,Fuel Guage i.e is from one year,plug etc .but they dont sale is not imp service is important than sale ,customer by any vehcile on company and there serives and part availbaility.this is not my individual problem ,problem with my whole group or yamaha bike holder e.g R-15,FZ segment .i expect the solution from ur side ,and please do needful .

In ur Davangere, (karnataka) yamaha branch they are not maintaining the minimum spare also like foot rust, tank cower, sailencer cower, and mainly the head light, i am a fan of yamaha company, now onwords i started to hate the yamaha service, and bike also pls take necessery action of stock maintain...

    dear sir,
    it is very very bad to inform u that ur company is providing bad products to custumers . just after 2 yr. of buying vechile slowly few holes i observed in silencer, after that whole silencer was rusted & much biger holes appeared for which i had invested lot of money . and i[censored] ask company to replace this damage part they are asking for money . i[censored] compare with other companes where there silencer last till bike ends ur silencer of yamaha libero doesn't last more than 3 yrs. this problem is not only with my bike but i observed this in every yamaha libero. now who will pay for this? . it is better i[censored]r company will provide new silencer for my bike otherwise we had to think twice before buying any yamaha products.

      Hi

      Recently I have bought a YAMAHA-FZS from PERFECT RIDERS Bangalore.
      The very Second day got a problem with my Battery and struggled a lot to ride without a self start.Shocked by seeing the way the perfect riders guys received me when I was there for a complaint, somehow got it changed.

      Even its a terrible experience with the first service over there.They are not even charging the battery after their service and the servicing sucks even,so reckless in dealing with the customers, for a service they are taking two days to deliver.
      Not interested to give it there anymore,Suggesting my friends even not to go for such a brand really..

      I dont know what YAMAHA is doing, whether this email makes a difference or not but posting for my satisfaction..

      I completely agree with you. It is a generic problem with most Yamaha showrooms. I have tolerated such irresponsible behaviour from Yamaha service centers (in Bangalore) for almost 4 years now.
      I want to sell-off my bike and buy a Honda / Bajaj / TVS instead.
      yes im agree i also bought a bike FZ black on 8/10/10 from the first day i see a problam with my bike my bike never start in morning
      i have to press a self batton 15 to 16 times to start bick plzzz tell me what i should to do plzzz

      in that video i give self 15 to 16 times but bike never start

        My Yamaha FZ16 is two years old sparingly used 4200kms.It started to give unusual
        jerks and vibrations during acceleration.I was told to replace chain and sprocket set.Moreover during the last one year I had to replace Speed sensor, Brake-switch and Tail light twice.The indicator,head light switch assemblies and Fuel guage have also started giving trouble .
        I want a response from YAMAHA which says "Quality above everthing".

        i own a yamaha fzs 2011 model i have lots of issue regarding my bike because i have spent half of my earnings to repair this bike
        Chain, front sprocket, headlight bulb, front forks, speed meter, all the lights, brake pads, levers, cables, pistons
        Now again i hear a noise from the sprocket although i have only done 8k km with the new chain and sprocket and also i use only genuine parts and service, please help me regarding this.
        This product must be more quality than this.
        I own a Yamaha FZS V2 one year old with about 10000 KMs, changed chain, chain sprocket, Bush.

        and another incident bike was parked and was fell down due to rain on sand floor, mirror broken and changed handle bar due to bent.

        YAMAHA is not manufacturing with GOOD QUALITY and maintenance cost is like hell spending more money on my bike to have safe and comfortable ride.

        Next time I am not YAMAHA CUSTOMER.

        Should have bought RE, stupid friend suggested this :( .

          YAMAHA/YBR110 — VERY POOR MILEAGE AND PERFORMANCE

          I had purchased YBR110 on Dec'10,2 services has been done,from the begining the bike was giving me trouble,regarding milege,starting,pickup,throttle,jerking.The milege is 30-32Kmpl.
          It is giving the milege of car and performance of a moped.I have complained the matter to dealer and to the company sveral times.The dealer DVL yamaha,Balasore,has not helped and the Company is not responding to the matter.i don't feel like riding the bike anymore.

          yamaha ybr110 — poor mileage

          i purchased the vehicle yamaha ybr from yamaha dealer at l.bnagar,on august 24 ,2011.i am always going to service centre for various problems&the vehicle is giving only mileage of 36 kms/litre.i am not happy with the service,they r not responding for the complaints,at present my vehicle reading is 3900kms,2nd service is also completed at 2500kms,so please process my complaint and take an action.

            Sir,

            I was the proud customer of your large selling Yamaha Fz-16 which I bought in Aug-10. My Phone number is [protected].

            After having the events of bad experiences with you customer service dealer – Panache (Bangalore) , I am very regret to say this “Yamaha Sells bike not build relations with customers”.

            Events Occurred Till date:

            1. Panache Promised to deliver the Bike on Thursday 5-Aug-10, but they delivered the bike on Friday 6-Aug-10 after waiting for 4 hours in their showroom (listening stupid excuses – bike lying in go down of Indra nagar, registration has been done, someone is getting the bike here etc).
            2. Bike RC has not been received at my home, I follow up with them at least 5 times and finally they said you go in person to RTO office (K.R.Puram) RTO office and collect it there. No help they have provided. Finally I got my RC after I follow up twice in RTO office after 3 months in October.
            3. Bike Insurance (original) not received either on time – again I have to follow up 7-8 times – always give me answer that they will arrange it from indranagar office – I received my insurance after 4 months in November
            4. Worst scenario – My 2nd service for Bike was due on 16th nov -2010. I gone for 3 times between 8th Nov to 22 nov for servicing – They keep saying sir we have many bike for service you come tomorrow. We don’t have staff , some on leave etc. for reason. I shout at them literally on 22 Nov and finally they agreed to service the bike – again they was giving excuse sir you service due date has lapsed by 6 days.
            5. They provided me a Teflon coating voucher having validity 7 – Nov -2010 . When I wanted to claim – they gave me stupid reason again that sir guy has to come from indranagar . Finally they agreed to do it but when I was receiving my bike they said Teflon coating cannot be done as this validity expired. This is what you say customer service ??????

            I am writing this letter to let you know how irresponsible your dealers are and they don’t know how to treat customer. I have purchase Yamaha as brand and with this kind of attitude by your dealer – I won’t be recommending this bike to anyone due to poor customer service . I am working professional and I don’t have time to go to showroom repeatedly for each of the service.
            The bike performance is good but you should also care about your customer. If I don’t receive any positive response this time from your team – I will highlight in any of the online forum – So that people know about the service you are providing to us.

            Lastly, I am asking only for good customer support from Yamaha for future.

            yamaha dealer — not received my rc till today

            I purchased Yamaha FZ-16 on 23rd january, 2009. from INDIA YAMAHA MOTORS PVT. LTD., GF-2,GF-4, MGF METROPOLITAN MALL, SAKET, NEW DELHI - 110017. firstly they delivered this bike late to me and till today i have not received my bike Rc even though i have already paid for it. Now when i call them, they keep telling me that i will get it in the next week. The concerned Person is Mr. Manoj. I am really fed up from them and wanted to file my case in the consumer court.

            i have not recive my R.C till that.

              yamaha fz16, rear tyre — tyre

              rear tyre of my fz16 gone 10 time puncture in 5 day , it is worst tyre i ever use , dealer denies my complain
              yes this is 101% right . I bought my FZ16 on 25th sept. 2009 after 8 month I left with so much punchers that I have to replace my rear tubeless tyre for Rs2300 aprox.. If I had tube tyre that I have to repalce tubr only that was may be cost only 500 to 1000 approx.{total cost of punchers (100 each puncher)=cost of my tubeless tyre}.total I have wasted more than Rs 4000 on rear tyre only.
              SIR MY SELF RAGHUVEER SINGH & i purchase my fz16 midshot black on july2011 & within 4 months i left so many punchers on my rear tyre that I have to replace my rear tubeless tyre for Rs2300 aprox.. If I had tube tyre that I have to repalce tubr only that was may be cost only 500 to 1000 approx.{total cost of punchers (100 each puncher)=cost of my tubeless tyre}.total I have wasted more than rs 4000 on rear tyre

              Same with my case...I bought my Yamaha FZ black on Sep 2012 and from the immediate next month onwards i was facing puncture problem. I work in a automobile dealer workshop so i could manage my tyre punctures regularly but presently there are around 6 punctures on my tire. I am tired of getting punctures every time. If puncture no air which is effecting my wheel, hub, chain, suspension, mileage and road grip. Is there any solution for this.I think tyres used by yamaha are not appropriate. Either you give me some solution or suggestion or take charge of all defective tyre and the punctures cost( each puncture would cost me 100+ in the city). This is not just the matter of tyre but also passengers safety no proper air no proper road grip no braking and bike skids as this is tubeless tyre it may burst if things go wrong...email me at [protected]@gmail.com
              I have Yamaha Fz-16 Black, its 3 years old and I have already replaced my rear tyre because of so many punctures.
              Now I am in pune, and its just been 2 months, i had 23 punctures in total. This was just in 2 months, my budget got screwed because i had to pay 100rs for each puncture. I so wish i had a bicycle.
              Trust me guys, MRF tyres are total waste of time man. The quality is pathetic, Ill try Apollo or Ceat tyres now, as i dont have any option other than changing the front one.
              For each puncture the amount that i am paying is hurting me mentally. ;-( lol.
              Same with me .. What I fail to understand is why Yamaha which makes such high quality projects is sticking with MRF.

              Looks like MRF sales guys have given big money to Yamaha vendor sourcing team else why would a company will be ok with a bad name for itself for no fault of its own.

              same here, but i found a cheap option of just install the tube worth rs400 maximum.
              me too facing the same problem i bought my fz16 few months before, within four months my rear tyre got puncture...
              so give me some ideas to maintain my bike in a good way :-) i love my bike a lotttt, it hurts me each time if it got puncture :-(
              and give some tips to maintain my bike chain, brake, air pressure etc etc you know..
              And also tell me what are things i have to check for each service ...plz

              I am facing similar problem. Rear tyre is getting usually getting a puncture a lot . Once repaired again getting leakage from similar place.
              Mechanic has to place 5 strips in once for re-rapair of old puncture. Is there any option for going to tube.
              Have to place air every 4-5 days.
              I bought my bike in 2013 June in Hyderabad.Now I have moved to Pune.I am facing problem with the rear tyre punctures regularly.I have already suffered around 25+ punctures.Tired to getting these punctures repaired, plus the shops charge high prices to fix these punctures.This has happened so many times that I am way too jittery of my driving speed because of this rear tyre issue.I like the bike but pathetic tyre quality ruin the driving experience.I suggest there should be Yamaha's own puncture repair shop if they cannot get our problem fixed!

              Facing same problem of Tyre punctures. No use of making the punctures as it gets lose after some days and the same puncture have to be make again.
              After reading all posts, I came to know there is no wonder happened for my bike ONLY. I have YAMAHA FZ BSIII, which have worlds worst TUBELESS RARE TYRE, which will get punctured very frequently. I don't know is it a TYRE or BALLOON. Year of Mfg : 7/2014 ; Date of Registration: 30/09/2014; No of Punctures: more than 50 till date;

              Friends, please suggest BEST RARE TYRE for YAMAHA FZ-S..

              Now I need to change TYRE which costing 3300+300/-. YAMAHA people should look into this issue seriously.

                hi,
                I m facing so much problem from day one(17/05/2010) regarding heavy noise in rear wheel & chain set.Yamaha service centre changed the rear wheel due to noise problem with in 4 days of purchasing,after one & half month rear wheel's hub casting wearout & creat the problem in effect chainset,its my humble request pls.change the chainset in warrenty because as per Yamaha service centre its not a warrenty.

                    I was driving my vehicle at the speed of 40 to 45 KM/PH. Suddenly I noticed jerk in front wheel and suddenly I saw that rim has broken.

                    I am of opinion that it is due to manufacturing default. I have purchased Motor Cycle from Jinder Yamaha ( Budh Vihar) Delhi on 22/07/2010. On my request dealer has refused to replace the rim. you are requested to issue necessary instruction to dealer for replacement of rim. Early action in the matter solicited.

                      i have yamaha fazer 2009 m0del,all service done on the time but now i am searching for chain & sporket,for the last 2 month in all yamaha spare parts shops ,waste of mony, waste of time is the result
                      at last i got chain and inner sproket but outer sproket is out of stoke & they said wait for 2 weeks. now she is making some noice wen ride her and it make me very sad,it is very bad in condition

                        I'm Ajinkya Borade. Owner of Yamaha FZ-S bike (Jan' 2010.)

                        I have experienced a really bad behavior and a bad service from Yamaha Factory Shop In Mumbai. (Malad West, Mumbai, India.)

                        I have attached a video where I'm arguing with Yamaha Manager & Mechanics; I was angry because I left my bike at Yamaha for a service of my bike at 9am & my Bike rank on Job card list was 10th. And I was told that my bike will be Done at/before 6:30pm on same day.

                        When I reached service center at 7pm My bike was not even touched. When asked to manager he told they are finishing it soon and it will get finished within 30mins. At 8pm I got angry bcus I was still waiting in the Reception for my bike.

                        When i peeked in I saw that theye didnt even fixed punctured tires. When i asked them why its not done, they said I will have to Fix my puncture from Local roadside mechanic and they can take my bike outside for it. I TOLD THEM THIS IS YAMAHA FACTORY SHOP. Why will my bike go outside if im Yamaha customer & Yamaha will fix it. AND 90% of JOB WAS STILL PENDING even at 8:30pm.

                        Also, one of the mechanics threatened me that "what are your arguing for we that this R-1 bike worth Rs. 14LAKH pending.. and what are you !!!"

                        I got my bike job done at 9:30pm. For which i have to waste my all rest of the plans, as they wasted my 4hours in shop.

                        i cant comment on the complaint... coz the costumer mst be having a very important work... but the employee at the service centre must not hav argued and compared b/w R1 and FZ... everyone has their own important work of their standard... in a way the costumer was right...
                        I am sure this mightve happened.. THese people just go by rule books when it comes to customers.. Like if we have a due date for service and get delayed by even a week, they do not give you a free service.. Cmon we are human beings and are bound to be late at times.. This happened to me.. My first service... The charged me.. Why?? Coz I was late by 8 Days.. Am I only doing this work.. Watching my bike service date.. I was promised while buying the bike that you leave your bike in the morning and take it by evening. But in my case i left the bike at 10 AM and was told to come next day at 12 Noon. I am not saying this is a crime. It happens at times that they may fall short of staff.. But then the same should also be considered when it comes to the customer.. After all, the cost of operation does not change if you get delayed by 8 days.. I will never go to them.. I prefer my local mechanic who has been doing a great job so far.. And before Yamaha, i was using 2 Honda bikes.. Let me tell you I never faced any problem.. You need not even take an appointment... And they stick to their timeline.. You get the bike on the same day.. These people need to pull up their socks and realise that customer is king.. Even worse.. While entering the job card, the Mechanic called Amit was telling me all the additional expenses, like 220 for Oil Change, 35 for Oil Filter and 100 for Chain Oiling. He never mentioned about the service fee of Rs. 250/-. I blindly signed on the job card never realising that the guy had written such a thing. He knew that I would raise the issue, as I had told him that I tried calling up for an appointment for 4 days but no one asnwered the call. I got the alternate numbers from Just Dial. Unfortunately, I couldnt do anything. I am another cheated client.. What choice do we customers have other than to pay the money and take our bike.. Will never recommend this shop to anyone..

                        Yamaha Fz - S — again and again tyre is getting puncter

                        Hi I am leelakumar, i am using yamaha FZ -S bike from past 22 months, i spent more than 2000/- for back tyre puncters, but still am facing the same problem again and again it is getting puncter, Pls do provide me the solution

                          I had bought one of your bike model YAMAHA FZ back in Nov, 2008 with great pleasure and expectation from your dealer, “GEORGE MAIJO INDUSTRIES PVT LTD; BEEMAS BUILDING; PALLIMUKKU JUNCTION; QUILON - 682010; KERALA”. But I am sorry to write to you that after six or seven months of delivery, the vehicle was facing one or other problem. The major of it “is” starting problem. Since the vehicle does not come with a kicker, you can imagine how difficult to handle the bike in a busiest area when the complete electrical functionalities of the vehicle ceases and the only way to get the vehicle running is to push start it in the middle of the traffic. You can also think about the thought that would be running through the minds of the people watching the scenario about an international brand.
                          To resolve the problem, I contacted the showroom - GEORGE MAIJO INDUSTRIES PVT LTD. When I got back the vehicle after service, I thought that the problem was solved, but after few days, the same problem hit me, again in the middle of the traffic. Annoyed with the situation, I took it to the service station and complained that the problem wasn’t solved. They asked me to come back the next day. From that very day, I had been asking them whether they could identify the problem, and whether it was solved completely. But, it took another couple of days to recognize that they gave me only polished promises. Every time they charge me heavily, and until this date, they are not able to resolve the problem.

                            I am Anshul Bhatia. I had bought a Yamaha FZ-16 on 17/10/2010 from THOMSUN AUTOMOTIVE (Sub-Dealer for Yamaha Motors India Pvt. Ltd.), Andheri-West, Mumbai.
                            He has given me all other documents like Insurance, Bike registration tax receipt, Bike manual and warranty book etc. But, he has not given me the YAMAHA INVOICE for the bike.
                            So, i am not sure whether the bike given to me is a new or an old bike.
                            I think, INVOICE is my basic right and i should be given an invoice for Rs. 75,500.
                            I had asked him for an invoice again and again, but he said he has not received the invoice from the main dealer. I dont know, how can it take so long?
                            Please help me.
                            What can i do about it?

                              The new Yamaha SZ-X 150cc has been launched in Rs.49000 but its performance is really poor.The engine style is same like the FZ-S and Fazer but SZ-X have not got much power.And there are many things to be told like there is no digital speedometer,no disc brake,no handle rims and the switches are not so much stylish as FZ-S.So i hope that u will make this changes within these days and launch new SZ-X with these changes and the front face too.But the price should be same.Being 150cc it has got only 12ps i think its because of the cost.

                                I bought FZ16 with these guys, only reason is, it will be close to my offcie so that I can easily get serviced. That is a very wrong decion.

                                Sales: If they ask you to come directly for a good deal, For sure yoo will not get any deal. They are so cool till you pay money. Once done, the sales person will not give you a courtesy smile.

                                Service: They do as if they are giving it for free. If youtalk to service manager, he will talk as if you are a stupid and he is genius. He forgets that he is a mechanic.

                                VERY UNHELPFUL AND UNFREINDLY ENVIRONMENT.

                                Raj Yamaha service is a harrowing experience for customers. They never rectify the problems which is specified in the job sheet. Their basement which is used to keep serviced bikes is waterlogged during rain. Their supervisor is very rude and acts as if he is the king and never replies about any problems properly..
                                Raj Yamaha Adyar has the WORST service you could ever experience. I left my bike on Saturday morning for service. Even after 3 business days my bike is yet to be serviced!!! This has completely spoiled my commuting..
                                Raj Yamaha Thoraipakkam is the worst of all! They just clean your bike with water & give back saying "SERVICE" has been done! I regret buying a wonderful bike & can't give my bike for a genuine service!

                                suspension and tyre

                                my bike was fz-16, i complainted on suspension but they din't respond and bike tyre was bursted with in 5 months the din't send me lettre of tyre warranty.

                                poor job works and over pricing

                                  This is the 7th time i am facing same problem
                                  I bought my bike fazer from JM MOTERS SECTOR-10 and after my second last servicing
                                  i started facing this problem,i.e starting problem.
                                  every time i got a gurantee like every thing is fine now but same problem like after just 2 hrs bike shows same problem
                                  I dont know what to mention,but anyone will feel bad when their bike will not start in the middle of road.
                                  So do i,and 7th time i am facing same problem,now i am afraid to give them my bike,they always handover my bike to new
                                  engenieers and give a assurance like it wont happen again.but it did.
                                  NAVED is one of engenieer then second jaswant, I am really fed up with your coustmer care.
                                  I wont recomend any one else to buy yamaha,even i"ll sell this bike any buy any other
                                  brand.just because of your brand i got trust and thats why i bought it,and this is my second time filing
                                  case to consumer court.PLEASE REPLACE MY BIKE.

                                    we have purchased 2 wheeler yamaha R15 LE at raj yamaha, chennai. they have collected amount of rs-2335/- as per the proforma invoice and they gave me the insurance policy of rs-1680/-. they have cheated us by collecting the excess amount and i have called them many times but their not responding properly,

                                      I had buy Yamaha Bike From Yamaha Dealer Name-Dama Automobile Dist-Mehsana & i had paid cash but from last two years my bike is still not be Registered In RTO Office. I want to say that i m not only one many of the customer is suffering this problem & i had complain so many times & send so many mail on backoffice but their is no one who heard my complain.                                         i hav bought my yamaha fzs one and a half month back and after my first service was done my disc brakes stopped working properly i went to yamaha authorised showroom to complaint it they even did some things to improve it but now they have stopped responding and my disc brakes are getting worse day by day and have even acted as a sign of danger to me ...everytime i went there for its repairing they charged me for it and the result was nil ...please help me as soon as possible
