I purchased yamaha r15 bike in pune from factory outlet two weeks back. and it started showing multiple problems like decoloring along the handle,rusting of front disc break, high sound in rear break (even after mud/dust cleaning it start coming again within 1 km ride), rusting/coppery deposits all across the front section- it gives a very pathetic look as if the bike is second hand or quite old. yesterday it stoped...i was unable to start the bike..battery smhow finished and i was unable to ON bike...i observed water vapour inside the techometer and multiple display. Ironically next morning battery was normal n i could start bike!! Factory shop people saying they can repair the bike...but i dont want a repaired bike when i have paid for a new bike!!

Now i want a replacement as i have paid for a new bike not for a defective piece!! therefore i am filing a lawsuite for economical and mental harassament. do write your views guys

    I am a proud owner of yamaha fazer. i purchased the vehicle from hilton yamaha, ulloor, Trivandrum, Kerala. i am giving the vehicle for regular servicing at the mentioned franchisee and was
    satisfied with their service. My bike is having a major complaint for its chain sprocket. On 23rd of AUG 2011, i gave it for repair and service at hilton motors, ulloor and they promised me to deliver the vehicle on sat 27th of AUG 2011. i contacted the franchisee and was shocked to know that the chain sprocket spare part is not available with them.

    Now, coming to the main subject of my mail. I want to ask the yamaha authorities " If you are the leading bike producers and developers in india and people like me suffer from not getting even the spare parts for your recently launched vehicle, how can u satisfy a customer or meet the expectations and capture the mind of persons like me??? "

    i am not the only person facing this crisis. i have come to know about the same problem from my frnds too. let me tell you that you being the leading bike company, its a letdown from your side and these type of problems will definitely affect the goodwill of your company.

      I have purachse yamaha fazer last month finance by now as per retail counter he says your interst rate is flate but i have recevied a details by your side my loan amount reducing very low first instalment i pay aroung 26 % PA intrest rate why are you reduce my principle and intrest rate iqual.

        My R 15 bike bought at PERFECT RIDERS Yamaha in Bangalore was handed over to the same showroom's servicing center for a paint job on the tank.
        I was made to run pillar to post for 1 month just to get my bike back.
        When i received my bike, i was shocked to see the quality of work that they had done. They have painted without cleaning the tank and even the color does not match.
        This is by no chance the quality that we expect from YAMAHA.
        My new front wheel brake pads were stolen and replaced with worn out ones. Even the fuel was stolen from the bike.
        When i asked the supervisor for an explanation regarding this, he was very rude and said this is all he can do and i can raise a complaint if i want.
        Owning a YAMAHA has become a torture for me and i urge everyone to stop buying YAMAHA products as it is very clear that they are taking advantage of its customers.
        I request the consumer forum to take action against this dealer for the inconvenience that they have caused.
        Even though it is the dealers fault, i think YAMAHA is responsible for the dealer's actions.
        Just selling something is not important, keeping the customers happy is only what will get them to buy more products. Hope all the companies understand this and stop taking us for granted.

          I bought my yamaha R15 on march 02 2011. Now I have a problem in my rear disc break. That rear disc holding pad was totaly wear. In service center they ask me to change that part. I cant compromise withnt their deal.So i need a better solution. With this compliants i cant recomand for any one.

              Hi,

              I have purchased a Yamaha SZ-R a month ago and it was confirmed to me by the showroom at camp that company does provide with a Kick for the bike on request, after a week I booked the kick at service center and was informed that I would receive the kick within 10 days. So after 10 days when I inquire about it I was directed to a Factory shop which is at Wakdewadi, when I went there they informed me that company has not yet dedcided to manufacture a kick or not. So I was cheated. More on that after sales service is a joke for Yamaha.
              I would request all my friends that not to buy any Yamaha products as they cheat on their customers. Such a same that Yamaha just for sales does not care about customer satisfaction.

                I completely agree with what the above comments, we purchased these vehicles with so much of passion for them , we always buy Yamaha genuine spares when required , but what the company is doing now is very unprofessional. When they manufacture a bike and after the production is stopped ,they must continue to manufacture the spares for their customers. I completely agree Tausif Khan who has mentioned above that Yamaha India is forgetting that they are where they are today because o[censored]s Yamaha lovers.
                I hope this is escalated with high importance and some action is taken...and i wish also more people who are facing the same issue , please voice your opinion here..

                  I have applied for loan for yamaha fz16 and survey has been done by your members but i didnt get any kind of response from shivalaya autos (showroom for yamaha)Meerut.
                  They told me that you are not giving permission to shivalaya autos due to the bank statement given by me.but sir i would like to say that i have provided you my icici bank accnt atatement that is true and my salary is going to credit in this account from last three months , so , sir if i provide you my axis bank accnt. statement that is not helpful for you because that salary account is going to close within 1 month .so , sir kindly give the permission to shivalaya autos ,meerut to delivered the bike to me as soon as possible.

                    Purchased a 'Fazer' Bike on 2nd of August 2011. Till date I have run only 18 km with this bike. More than 30 times I hd to start my bike. From day one it is giving starting problem. I went to this service station 3 times, but the engineers are saying that the bike has a MANUFACTURING DEFECT. I request you the Yamaha Company to replace my defective bike at the earliest.

                      i have two yamaha byks r15 and fz150 when i went for the servising 2 maharasrta moters yavatmal for r15 they take my byke & tell me to come @evening but they r not give me byk for 7 deys bcos they had meet an aasident with my byk in that frant of my byk is complat broken
                      when i argiv with them they said do what ever u want to do they cant even give me my servis book or bill or jobcard
                      in case of fz150 i purches this byk kikless but after 10 month starting trabal started so i went to yavatmal at same showroom thay fitt kik from that dey byk strt noise from engin and hiting up in one km runing they told me that it is not curebal sold the byk
                      i think i made a mistek my purchesing yamaha byks

                        Sir,

                        I purchased my bike about an year ago. The problem started from there itself. I went out to Pearl Yamaha, one of the cities renowned dealers. When I booked my bike, I was given a time line of a week to get the bike however it took about a month to get the bike. This time included 4 promised dates and hence visits and probably dozens of calls.
                        Excitement of owning an R15 overshadowed everything. But then the bigger problem started when I went for servicing. Its my 5th service now and among these 5 services, 2 of them have had delayed delivery and two of them involves non washing of bike. Now that washing is an external thing I can know that its been not done which makes me think, "have they even done the servicing?".
                        The 5th servicing has been the worst of the lot. I went to the service center on 5th Aug 2011 and was promised to get the delivery on 6th. I called up on 6th and they told me the bike is ready. I went in the evening, saw the bike, it was not washed, again. Then I saw the Saree guard which had a bolt missing and was specifically mentioned in the job log. It was in the same condition. I waited for an hour and half to get the bike wash and the guard to be bolted. Got the wash but was told that they don't have a bolt. I talk to the manager and was asked to call on Monday so that someone can come and get my bike for the remaining things. After about 20 calls and 10 promised times someone finally came on the 13th Aug, about 5 days late. I asked the manager when can i get the bike back and was promised a time in the evening.
                        Another set of calls and promised times and 4 days later I am frustrated with the service and still don't have my bike back. Also the battery of the bike, which almost died within 8 month have yet not been replaced and was promised about replacement this time. Lets see if it has been replaced when and if I get my bike back

                          Dear Sir/Madam,
                          I have purched yamaha sz bike from Adarsh Yamaha, Khanpur, on dated 22-10-10.Frame No-ME154B028A2001487 and Engine No-54B2001485. At the first service i came to know the bike is giving smoke. They(Adarsh Yamaha service people) said we keep the vehicle for under observation for 15 days. After 15 days when we check the e.oil level found 300ml down from the original level. They says we will be take apropriate stape for this problem. At the second service they made the sparg plug gap large and said the problem was due to the sparg plug. After 15 days of the second service again we found the e.oil level lower than the original and they pop-up the e.oil and said we will call u after discuse with our yamaha servie engg. But which is not happen.The same was going on till the Fourth service.After fourth service they replaced the piston, piston head and clutch plate. And they charged the clutch plate from me. When I asked about this they tols me it is not covered under warrenty. I toled them due to low level of the e.oil the clutch was damaged and when i have complint about this from the bignig why should pay for this. But they are not listing to me. Even I have asked about the warrenty they told we can't give the warrenty.After replacing these spare the pick-up/speed of the vhehicle was dramatically down.
                          Sir I want solution for the following,
                          1.about the clutch plate.
                          2. about the warrenty of the engine
                          3 . about the exust which is carboned due to the smoke.
                          4. about the pick-up.

                              i bought a bike yamaha fazer from pank yamaha satna.and i was charged for registration of the bike but it has been almost 4 months since i bought the bike in april 2011 and i m yet to recieve the registration certificate.the dealer is not at all cooperative and has not given money for registration to the agent.since i work in army n not able to contact them frequently therefore its my sincere request from the concerned authorities to take strict action aginst the above mentioned dealer

                                Dear Sir,
                                In yamaha dealer in kollam, very poor in maintaining service. I almost main complaint regarding the mileage-32km.But they don't response any more in my 1st to 5th service they don't clearly mention the problems. and in 6th and last service in an other agency they found the injector in the carburetor pin is damaged and a cost of rs.420/- is charged. It is in covers as manufacturing defect and non claimable amount include the warranty period.

                                All the 5800km is maintained by me in 32 km pl..but now in last time they found. I am very disappointed and ask all people to don't take the poor bike.

                                Pls advice and ask to refund my amount of Rs.420/- back

                                  i have taken Yamaha SZX bike on 22/jan/2011 at kukatpally show room. i have given the bike for servicing at the same show room up to now 3 times. the engine of the bike giving Vibrations and more sound after crossing 40 KM per hour speed.But they didn't respond well. Just they did the water servicing and they didn;t checked even small problems. But still my problem was n't solve Engine chasis NO:ME154B011B2021671. And engine NO is 54B1021684.                                     On 20th July 2011, I went to get my Bike(Impact Yellow YZF-R15) serviced as it was due for its 6th free service. The Yamaha dealer/svc in Vaikom and its name is Ave Mariya Automobiles
                                    Since my Bike has covered only 1000kms
                                    since the last service and it was running on semi-synthetic oil which
                                    can be used trun 3000kms(I ride most of the time below 6k rpm), I
                                    didn't wanted to get it changed as it'd be just a waste of Money.
                                    Also they told me that lubing the chain is chargeable which I thought
                                    was free during periodic servicing(normally I do the lubing myself
                                    with Motul chain lube, which I did 2days ago). I told the lady(who is also
                                    the owner) who runs the svc that I do not wish to change the oil and
                                    lube the chain. Upon which she rudely told me that it is a part of
                                    free servicing and if I don't want the oil change, chain lube then I
                                    can go to another service centre.
                                    I'd have gladly went away but since I took leave from work Today just
                                    for the servicing and since there are no other svc nearby(the next
                                    nearest has to be taken prior appointment), I decided to do the
                                    servicing here in Ave Mariya Automobiles itself.
                                    They'll charge me for the oil change and the chain lube but it is not
                                    the thing I'm worried about. The thing thats bothering me is that
                                    these people are swindlers and I'm getting robbed in broad daylight.
                                    Not only me, so many people who come for servicing here.
                                    I've faith in Yamaha but the svc people are really hopeless who only
                                    think of their sales but service be damned.
                                    I'll gladly pay for the oil change when it will be due but I don't
                                    like to see my hard earned Money to be robbed like this.
                                    I'll never recommend my friends to go to this svc for any purchase or service.
                                    I'm a mechanical engineer by profession and I know whats good for my Bike.
                                    I'm also putting this mail up in www.xbhp.com which is the leading
                                    motorcycling portal of India.
                                    I know most svcs don't care much about servicing
                                    a Bike properly and the owners don't give a damn too. But atleast they
                                    should talk to their customers politely. The attitude that lady
                                    displayed was not what is expected. No wonder I don't see any Bike on
                                    display in the showroom of this svc.
                                    Also a few days back I went to another svc to purchase a bottle of
                                    fully synthetic oil for future use(during 7th service). They gave me a
                                    1L bottle of Mobil 1 0W40 for Rs.1150/-. Upon much searching on the
                                    Internet, I was confirmed that this particular grade of oil is for
                                    Cars and not for Bikes. I[censored]sed it Bikes, there will be clutch
                                    slippage and wear and tear due to the low viscosity Index and hence
                                    not recommended. Since the svc was using 0W40 oil since long for oil
                                    changing in Bikes which is meant to use in Cars, they won't even take
                                    it back.
                                    Why do they allow all these to happen and leave your customers high and
                                    dry?(most common people won't even know)
                                    Japan is famous for the politeness of the people and here the rude
                                    behaviour and ignorant attitude of the svc people is throwing muck on
                                    it.
                                    Atleast please call the Ave Mariya people and ask why they did this.
                                    Though I know its for the few easy bucks but in the end its going to
                                    cost them more as me and my friends will never come here again. Also
                                    hundreds more who feel cheated.

                                    I have already emailed to Yamaha area officer regarding this and I'm yet to hear from them.

                                    Hope to hear from you soon about the actions you have taken.

                                      I had purchase a new yamaha fazer bike in February 2011 within 1st month there is many problem in my bike. 20days ago some noise is coming from priston head of engine so i had taken my bike to aims yamaha service centre in dombivali they had told me that your oil has burn due to which priston and crank had failed we had forward your compliant to Yamaha. whenever i am calling then they are saying the parts is not availabale. Now they are saying the problem has happen due to the petrol what a stupid reason they are giving I am filling the petrol at same pump since 1999 and even in my skoda car What should I can do now ?
                                      Is there is anyone in Yamaha who can do some thing ? earlier even I had given return compliant to Yamaha on website only they had call me and told that your compliant will resolve within 48hrs
                                      I think even the bicycle company have better service than Yamaha
                                      Please reply if you can do anything or I will go to consumer court

                                      YAMAHA motors — engine problem and bad sound in the engine

                                      lekin 2 mahine pahele engine kuch ajib sound nikal rahi h

                                        I purchased my Yamaha FZ-S (engine no. ME121C063B2041654) on 17th April, 2011 from Noida, Sector 10. After taking full are and riding according to the instructions on the manual and as directed by the showroom, I'm facing the following problems in relation to the bike:
                                        1. The top speed the bike is attaining at full throttle is 106 kmph. This speed is on highway when the bike is expected to attain a speed of 120+.
                                        2. The bike is very low on pick-up. On one occasion, a 125cc bike was able to overtake the bike when starting at a signal. At 5th gear, in speeds 55-75 kmph, the bike gets very heavy.
                                        3. It starts with much difficulty and stops when accelerated. Once it stops, It fails to starts again in like 6-7 trials.
                                        4. On service 2 and 3, around 1.5 litres of oil were taken out from the bike on each incident. In 3rd service, I was there and noted that he took out a whole mug full of petrol from the bike. He did not use even 1/4th of the quantity he extracted.
                                        5. I had the service person note down 7 observations. He took not more than 30 minutes for the full servicing. I don't think so much time was adequate for solving all these problems.

                                        Dear sir meri bike warrenti me hai. Bike me selencer pata hua hai jo compani chang nhi kar rahi hai or bike white fog chodti hai.
