sir i purchased an yamaha ray from palathra showroom,changanacherry, kottayam. at 26/05/2013. At the time of second service i inform them that the indicators are not working but they are not willing to repair it.I tried to contact them too many times to solve the problem. My vehicle reg. nom is KL-33 E -3279.

Sir,
I purchased yamaha FZ16 on 16th of oct 09 from samrat motors in ghaziabad, u.p..
When i went for services of the bike then i only feel the worst service experince in my life. they did not lubricate the clutch, brakes and other points.and not able to fixed out any of my problems of my bike.
I request you to make proper service arrangements for servicing the expensive bike like yamaha fz16 in your dealers workshop.this kind of experience make a bad image of yamaha bikes among their old customers.
After every servising the bike starting to give problem.
Like Cell Start, suddenly bike stop in middle of our journey or going somewhere
dear sir , i purchased yamaha r15 from [MOHRIR YAMAHA] NASIK, as my rear wheel rim gt damaged in just 2500 kms , i was told for warranty exchange....and its about a month today my bike is in showroom and the people there are making me run sayin tht still part has not cum yet ..plz do the needfull i[censored] can help me regading any action against them !!!! thank you.

    I Purchased Yamaha FZS on 03/06/13 from Pearl Yamaha ,Y junction Kukatpally. Frame No : ME121C0H3D2005901 EngineNO :21CH005966 REGNO: AP 28CK1862. Its been 2and half months and around 2500Kmts , my bike clutch cable got cut . My concern is what kind of quality clutch cables Yamaha is providing ??? Am quiet disappointed and literally shocked when this happened at 2500Kmts !!! Am not bothered about the money which i had spent for the new one but the quality which Yamaha is providing. I would like to escalate this issue to the top management.

    Hi,

    Even i am facing the same problem for Yamaza Fzs bike, i already replaced third clutch cable. I purchased my bike in November 2012, within 10 months i already replaced three cables, the total kms till now i covered is 6000kms.

    I am very disappointed with the quality of yamaha.

      Orion Motors, Hosur Road is pathetic in servicing vehicles. I had given the vehicle FZ16 for general servicing and gear and handle issue on 12th Aug 2013 and they had not done a proper job/even looked at the gear and handle issue and gave the vehicle delivery on 14th Aug 2013. It took them two days for them to service the vehicle without even taking what the customer has asked to check. now i have ended up having the bike as it was before except for a gear oil and engine oil change and few adjustments in brake and clutch.
      More importantly, they haven't given me a service bill and asked me to collect it on 16th Aug 2013.

      Manager- Sethuram and Nagendra are pathetic and use bad words/create a scene in front of customer when customer expresses his grievances.
      My job card number for vehicle service - 63045
      Their customer Service Grievances number - [protected]/8 is picked up by some cab driver and they have placed this board at the reception. This shows how pathetic their service is....

      Yamaha India is going to lose customers if they don't take strict actions against their dealers.

        I have purchased Yamaha YHT-196 and it was working fine for 1 week and then problem started with receiver.When you power ON the receiver it turns ON and then immediately turns OFF. Below are the product details and Problem described in steps wise, Please Help.


        Model no: HTR-2064.
        Serial no: T462982VX.

        Problem:

        22nd Jul, 2013 : Purchased at Hyper City, Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad.

        25th Jul, 2013 : Installed and worked fine for 1 week.

        31st Jul, 2013 : While watching movie it turned OFF automatically and when i turn it ON , it started Playing.

        01st Aug, 2013 : It automatically turned OFF again after running it for 20 min and when i try to turn it ON, it turns ON and immediately turns OFF. I contacted service person who installed my system and he asked me to bring receiver to service center.

        02nd Aug, 2013 : Took receiver to Service center and he repaired it. When i started using it , after 30 min it again turned OFF automatically and when i try to turn it ON ,it turns ON and goes OFF immediately. I contacted service person again ,he asked to bring receiver again.

        03rd Aug, 2013 : Took receiver to Service center again and he repaired it. When i started using it , this time it only worked for 10-20 min and it again turned OFF automatically and when i try to turn it ON ,it turns ON and goes OFF immediately. Again i contacted service person, he asked to bring receiver again.

        05th Aug, 2013 : I contacted Yamaha with contact no. i got from internet ,he gave me a mail id( [protected]@gmx.yamaha.com) and i wrote him mail what happened from day 1 he just gave replay to use stablizer and i wrote him replay saying i am already using stablizer with rating suggested by service center person and i didnt got any replay till now. On the same day i again called the number which i got from internet and he told that he will ask service departmant people to call me and when they called me i gave him my details and service center person called me after 20min saying that he will come and check the system on 8th Aug.

        08th Aug, 2013 : When i called service center person he said, he is on leave and tommorrow he will come.

        09th Aug, 2013 : Service center person came and saw for 10min and asked us to bring complete system to store so that they can check and he leaved.

        10th Aug, 2013 : I Went and gave complete system to service center.

        from 10th Aug to today : When ever i call service center person about my product status , he says that he kept mail to yamaha they need to replay us untill then they cannot do anything.

          I booked a r15 version 2 motogp edition (white-blue) in Glory Enterprise (3, Taldanga Saw Mill, G T Road, Chinsurah Bazar, Hooghly, West bengal 712101) on 13th july 2013. They took rs. 20000/- as booking amount where all other showrooms in Kolkata takes only rs. 5000/-. The showroom guys told me that they will get the bike within 3-4 days. But I insisted to take the delivery on 31st july 2013 and they assured me that there will not be any problem. But when I called them around 29th july they told that the bike will not be delivered on time and i will get the bike on 7th august,2013. They told me on 6th august that my bike is on the way and i will get the bike on 10th August . But on 10th august, they told that company had not sent the bike and i will have to wait for 15 more days. also they are trying to convince me to consider other colors as according to them company is not sending motogo edition.
          I never expected this kind of confusing and frustrated experience from a well reputed company like Yamaha. I am also very much worried whether I will get the bike at all.
          So it is my humble request to Yamaha to look into this matter so that i can get my bike without any further hassle.Otherwise I will not have any other option but to opt for other brands other than Yamaha.

          Yamaha — New bike delivery

          I had booked a Yahama fazer on 31st July and have still not got it and when I booked they said its a 10 day waiting the showroom person keeps saying that yamaha has not sent the delivery this is a poor service and I am disappointed as a first time buyer. I would want interest to be paid by the company for this delay for the downpaymnet i have paid.

            I am using Yamaha FZ 16. I bought it 5 months back. the bike stops when i ride it in rain. After riding for 5 minutes in rain, the engine stops and the bike starts bubbling and stops. After few hours its starts again. Please let me know what could be the cause and solution for it.

            Yamaha FZ16 — no attention on complins which were placed before servicing and deteriorated performance of bike

            when i gave my bike for 1st servicing it was working very well but after servicing the pickup of bike has decreased, it is making a lot of noise and is vibrating lot more than previously and the mileage has decreased from 40-42 to 28-32 km per lit.even after complaining for these they are not ready to accept these.they are just concerned with changing of ingine oil during free servicing offered in guarrantee period.when i again complained about poor mileage they tell me to come on another day on which i am not free. i am just fed of telling them any complain as they not ready to listen anything . do i have any right to have a bike that works perfectly.

            The problem was solved after I took it to service center many time. The reason was faulty carburetor pipe. Whenever I ride it in rain, the water goes to carburetor and bike would stop. They changed the pipe and now the bike runs fine. Thanks to Yamaha.

                I have a 2009 model yamaha fz bike. And i found a complant that the 'vacum pistion' is in complaint. For that i enqure all near by show rooms. But i could not find any till now.                   Dear Sir,

                  I've bought Yamaha Motor Cycle (SZR) around one year back (Dec'2011). I'm facing problem in the Motorcycle from very beginning, related to performance of the vehicle. Sound of the motor cycle is abnormal and the pick-up is also not satisfactory and is very heavy while riding as compare to the same model of Yamaha. I am very particular about maintenance of my vehicle and all the servicing has been done at Yamaha network of dealers within specified time limit.

                  Despite of forwarding several complaints to the dealer and also taking up this issue with your customer care TOLL-Free number , I did not get any satisfactory response from the company.

                  I think the problem in my vehicle is not properly understood by the dealer/service center and engineer, On several followup they have changed some parts and also charged from me instead the part was ok.
                  Mr. Sajid Hassan (engineer) who attend the problem, threaten me if you will take legal action we have already have a lawyer.

                  All the services (free/Paid) has been done by the following Dealer.

                    I bought a Yamaha FZ S from Adithya Yamaha in singanallur on 2011 January 9. Within 3 months i back tyre was punchtured and later i found found a hole in back alloy wheel. They said they can claim warranty and charged me 150Rs for labour. Then i saw the old alloy wheel was altered, i was very dissappointed. Then after 1 year I heard a strange sound in Engine, i gave it to repair in pollachi Suryaprakash Yamaha, they said timing was missing and repaired it. After 3 days I had same complaint and this time they said some valve has been damaged and charged 200Rs. After 2 months again same prob and this time they said the small bolt has been buldged and charged 200Rs again. And now i am having same prob. Its been 18 months since i purchased this vechicle and 6 months are left for warranty. What should I do? These yamaha service stations are useless and there is no meaning for free service and warranty. All the parts are of poor quality and there is no proper response to customers. They told me to drive vechicle at 50km/hr so i wont get this prob. To drive at 50km/hr i can get a electric scooter, why buy a yamaha FZ S ? Please dont purchase these fraud products of poor quality and bad bad badest poor poor poorest response......

                    myself muddassir koshish from yavatmal i have bike company yahama but m nt getting proper service in company when we go for some spare parts they say we dont have and not proper staff and hopeless service so pls recover my complaints

                    i rode only 12000 km around city side only (Road is very good), now one side of rear tyre wear down only in 5 months, i used all of my 4 free services, now i approached local service centre but they refused to fix my problem and they demand new tyre cost and service charge, i have doubt in tyre quality.

                      I have a yamaha fazer (dl8s at 3059) . I purchased it from jinder yamaha , saraswati vihar .
                      I previously complaint about the malfunctioned carburetor of this bike and after a call from service center i got it checked but they said everything is fine and ok . But after irregular fuel effeciency and
                      Uneven idle rpm and bike stop while running i took the bike to the service center and they said the
                      Carbureter is malfunctioned and you soon have to replace it .It is an immovabe and electrical part which has a long term life in company like yamaha but it need to change it now . I havent replaced carbureter on any vehicle i have driven so far . It is surely a manufacturing
                      Defect and i want the company to replace the carburetor on my bike . Else i have to take further actions .

                      Yamaha India — T/R issued with wrong Chassis no. Unable to register the vehicle

                      I purchased Yamaha YBR 110CC vehicle from Sri Venkateswara motors in the month of may' 2010. After one month when i went to register the vehicle i came to know that they have registered the vehicle with a wrong Chasis no. I approched the showroom immediately. They told that it was happened by mistake they will change it immediately. I gave the documents to them, since then i keep on visiting the showroom. They keep on saying me it will take 10 more days, 3 more days 2 more days etc., Till now i didn't get the modified T/R. Today the showroom manager is saying that it was my mistake. why you didn't check the document while you are buying the vehicle.

                      I had tremendous mental tension form the past 6 months.

                      PLease suggest what to do?

They changed the parts and took 600 rs extra to straighten the handle forks but know the handle bar again getting problem and it is bent again they are not doing the work in it please help

                        I have given my bike for service at your authorized service centre.
                        JAIN MOTO BIKE PVT LTD

                        What are all the problems I told to them is not resolved.
                        * Auto engine off while driving
                        * Low pick up
                        * My footrest needs to be changed, I precisely told to change it since I can’t shift my gears with my leg pain. (Even am going to pay for this.)
                        * Even they created problem extra before service my disc brake was working fine, now it is not up to the mark.
                        I got a call from them at 15.40 that the bike is ready. I eagerly went to collect my bike back.
                        Even I paid the money Rs 581. After paying money that a guy is coming and telling that my footrest has not changed. Since they don't have the spare part.
                        It will come next week only it cost around 650 rupees.
                        I asked him till that time how can I drive with broken footrest?
                        He simply replies me that I have to adjust.
                        For this kind of reply am I buying a branded bike YAMAHA paying 82000 rupees?
                        No one bothered about my feelings over there every body doing their work only, even that centre manager also.
                        Am very much dissatisfied on this service. It is a kind of annoyance. I don’t know whether you training your people on soft skill (At least those who interacting with customers daily).
                        My biggest worry is,
                        Why they did not informed this before?
                        If they would have informed me, I will be going to the service centre that is having the spare part.
                        Also they denied my fifth free service coupon because I was not reported on correct time. I too agree I was late for 10 days. They calculating it from the date of purchase but I got delivered the bike after 7 days only. Who will bridge this gap?
                        For buying your product I am compromising myself but when am coming for service you are not compromising.

                          Hi Sir,
                          I bought the Yamaha FZ-S Sunset red(TN22 CJ3268) from Bikerz - Yamaha, Chrompet. After buying the bike i found that there is some problem with the front wheel of the bike, the front wheel is not rotating freely . It is getting struck at a particular place. I took the bike to service station after inspection they told the problem is with the disc plate and it will not be covered under warranty . After further inspection they told the problem is with the front wheel also. Also the Warranty is not available for wheel. So they told we will claim for insurance. After one month of these very slow unsatisfied process finally the insurance surveyor surveyed the bike and told this will not be covered under insurance since there is no physical damage.Now i am out of options . After buying the bike by paying full cash, now they are telling to spend another Rs.10000 to change all the faulty parts of front wheel. This is a manufacturing defect. The customer service and the way they respond to the customers is the worst that i have seen in my life. My bike is with the service station for the past 2 weeks and they are not responding to my queries with proper answers, most of the times they are ignoring my calls. Before buying the bike Yamaha representative's are telling sir to us , but after buying the bike they are making us to say sir sir and beg to them. They are giving very irresponsible answers like 1 of 1000 bikes are having problem, but they are not understanding only 1 bike is what we buy and we expect it to be good.This is my dream bike.(After saving my first 8 months of my salary i bought this bike). Why you(Yamaha) guys not understanding our feelings. After buying the bike i have visited the service center for about 20 days for this problem by putting permission to my office in just 2 months. Really unsatisfied by the service. Please help me on this issue, and also make sure it doesn't happen to others. All the vehicle should be Pre-inspected by Yamaha representative , make sure you(Yamaha) do it properly and avoid these kind of problems in future.

I had given bike for repair after my brother had met with an accident at Thrissur. We have given the bike on 28th February 2013 and yet not get the bike back after the repair. Each time when I call, they are telling some invalid reasons and postponed the delivery day by day. So that I have contacted their customer care for two times but unfortunately it's not resoled yet. My brother using bike everyday for his business needs.

                              Complaint against the dealer for same case

                              SECOND TIME I AM FORWARDIN THIS MAIL
                              I have contacted the customer care last month for an issue I have had from the dealer for delaying in getting the estimate for submitting to the Insurer. It was resolved only by the timely intervention of your customer care team. At that time, the dealer was agreed to deliver the bike on before 10th May, 2013 after the repair so as I informed you guys to close this case for this time and I will contact you further for any inconvenience from the dealer.
                              As I have expected what had happened. They have not completed the repair works and each time when I call they are telling some invalid reasons and postpone the delivery day by day. Sometimes they weren’t picking up the call at least.
                              THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATING. I really feel like they took revenge against me for earlier complaint.
                              It’s already been 3 months passed. I had given the bike to your dealer UNO MOBIKES, KURIACHIRA, THRISSUR on 28th February, 2013. It is really shame for YAMAHA to give the dealership for such a nasty dealer.
                              Please do the needful to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

                              Hi,

                              I have visited one of your dealer ‘Uno Mobikes’ situated at Kuriachira, Thrissur, Kerala on 28/02/2013 for repairing my brother’s bike after he met with an accident on 15th, February-2013. He was Hospitalized for two weeks and advised to take complete bed rest for two months. As due to this accident happened near to your dealer’s place and problem in riding to the place where I bought the vehicle lead me to bequeath his vehicle at Uno Mobikes. At the time of hand over, the person who is in the seat of service manager informed me that, it will take two weeks of time to complete the process like preparing the estimate etc, and I agreed to that. As there was no information after two weeks, I called to Uno Mobikes office and they informed me they will call me back and it repeats several time. After continues contact, they have given the estimate on 13/04/2013 and informed me to submit “United India Insurance Company Co. Ltd” which is the insurer of the vehicle. I submit the application along with estimate on16/04/2013 and thereafter verification from the insurer; they informed me to give the explanation for delaying the submission of estimate and application.

                              I clearly informed the insurer that, the delay was completely because of the dealer and they were not convinced. So they informed me to obtain a letter from Dealer and submit at the office with clear explanation for delay caused.

                              I am completely sure that they will say some reason for put off this issue. Please help me out this.

                              This is the first time I am experiencing such a bad service from the dealer since I have been used Yamaha for the past 10 years. I got really frustrated and look foreword to get resolution for this issue.

                              I really appreciate your time and patience. Please do the needful to resolve this issue as soon as possible. A dealer like Uno Mobikes really downgrade your brand name and so you may take the necessary actions.

                              Yamaha — Complaint regarding a DEALER

                              This is a complaint regarding the waiting period informed to me by the dealer. The dealer in mumbai ie GANESH ENTERPRISES told me that the waiting period of the FZ-S is 2 months but the yamaha motors customer care said that the waiting period is 1 month.

                              I m confused on the waiting periods informed to me. If this is the case then i will have to go to the consumer forum on the basis of misleading information given to me.
                              Dealer not giving the bike

                              Respected sir,

                              i'm shinoj.t.chandran, i had booked a red yamaha SZX on[protected]

                              from PSN Agencies PVT.LTD, cochin.The dealer told me that he will give my bike within 10 days.

                              After 10 days i contacted to them, they told me waiting for some days.ok, then i have no 'problem'.

                              they contact me on '[protected]' and told me the next day issue your bike,

                              i visited show room by the next day(13/12/2010) and saw bike, the dealer told me that we have

                              some registration problems today, so we issue your bike on next day. The next day, i did not get bike,

                              they sell that bike to another person . i meet the sales manager and general manager,

                              they told me waiting for another 10 more days or we refunded your amount.

                              this is a poor service, bad commitement to customer and I am disappointed as a first time buyer.

                              i hope this complaint will not go on deaf ears.I am waiting for a positive reply..Thank you.

                              My FZS limited edition has been hit by a stone under the engine casing.Now i cannot change the gear properly . I contact the service center were i bought the bike and they said we have to remove the engine and check and they have no tools for the same. it requires special tool they dont have the tools for that. so I have to bring it to thrissur main service center for repair and claim . I have to travel 25 kilometers to the main service center in Thrissur . I have been using YEMAHA bike for more than five years and i am very much satisfied to buy a new bike from Yamaha
                              Here the problem is that the service is so poor and the dealing with costumer . i am very sad to say that i am unsatisfied by services of this particular service station

                                problem with my bike

From the beginning onwards i was facing problem not even a month ago that the problem came in my bike's battery. The exide battery was totally failure and was not working. I can not start my bike with self start. I took my bike to the showroom SUNANDA YAMAHA but the salesman changed their colour, they were not behaving properly and was unhelpful...

                                Hello,

                                I had purchased Yahama FZS in Oct. 2012.
                                Within around 6 months with 2-4 punctures daily, the rear tyre became non-usable.
                                The reason behind is because of soft tyre produced by MRF. Now because of lot of complaints from end users, MRF company has produced a little hard tyre for this bike.

                                I had visited MRF service center at Wakdewadi Pune and Mr. Sunil Pujari ([protected]) said the replacement is not possible until the tyre gets its small iron rods out of the tyre.

                                Please help me get a replacement of the tyre for the new one produced.
                                I have spent a lot on punctures because of this low quality tyres.

                                  Dear sir,

                                  I have given my vehicle (TN 03F 6329, Model SZ-R) for service with Walters Yamaha at New washermenpet, Chennai 81 for the following issue.

                                  1. Mis firing
                                  2. Mileage tuning.
                                  3. General check up
                                  4. Self start is not working.

                                  Problem 3 is addressed by changing the engine oil.
                                  Problem 4 is addressed by fixing the kicker.

                                  After the service I got a mileage of 20 km/ lit and we have two more problem added up.

                                  1. Idling is not constant. It varies from 1000 rpm to 2500 rpm.
                                  2. Very often switched off in the mid of heavy traffic.

                                  Observation from the service centre for problem 1 & 2 is as follows.

                                  Mis firing Issue

                                  Need to change one filter and they are not having a stock with them. They have ordered with Yamaha 15 days back and they haven’t received

                                  Mileage tuning.

                                  They said that the carburettor has gone bad. If we need to change, we need to spend another Rs. 4700. I have already paid an amount of Rs.3215 for the problem started above.

                                  From the day one I purchased the vehicle, mileage problem is there. I have done my earlier service with Ambal motors and they have also not rectified this issue. Please find the attached mail which I wrote to yamaha earlier.

                                  Vehicle is very lightly used and it has done only 7900km so far. It is really surprising that within 10000km the carburettor has gone bad. As this is bad, we have the mileage problem from the beginning. So, I want you to replace the carburettor at free of cost as the quality is bad from the beginning. When I check with service centre this is a common problem in SZ-R. Yamaha having a good market share, having this kind of bad product will reduce your reputation.

                                  Because of the additional two problem added up (Idling is not constant. It varies from 1000 rpm to 2500 rpm, Very often switched off in the mid of heavy traffic.) after service, really difficult to drive. And also this will lead to accident. If such case, I need to file a case against Yamaha on the bad quality of product and service.

                                  Please let me know if you want the scanned copy of the bills which I have received from walters Yamaha for your proof. Bill No. WS1300087 dt[protected]. Bill is issued from the address SVD Motors, 740 Thiruvotriyur High Road, new washermenpet, Chennai 81.

                                  Though all the above given problem is not addressed, the complete service charge is paid.

                                  I have submit my bike fazer at ballabhgarh authrized service center of yamaha for repair on 23/11/2010 , but according to the manager of service center they have no parts in his stock , i regularly followup that giys but every this i got same answer parts not available today is 6/12/2010 but still parts not available in stock , i wana know what type of service yamaha give to there custmer , how can custmer wait for 15 days , for any advice pls call me [protected]

                                  i own fz16 black bought on[protected], my bike has a bend in front alloywheel and this minor bent is manufacturer defect, i shown my bike to service center guys though they could't solved my issue yet they closed my complaint.

                                      I am sorry to say I am so unhappy with the performance of Yamaha 150 FZ.
                                      This bike is not giving good result on hills like dehradun , solan city.

                                      I consult to Dehradun Yamaha service centre , they say piston of this bike is not working properly. it is new bike than how it is possible in travelling 15000 km.

                                      Than I consult to Solan Yamaha service agency they say all Yamaha 150 FZ don’t give good performance in hills. All Yamaha 150 FZ have same problem in hills and all bike loose pressure in climbing hill. and need advance gear. this is condition in single riding.

                                      Before this bike I was using Hero Honda Extreme 150 cc. with this there is no problem in hills.

                                      Purchasing time I was thinking Yamaha 150 FZ is powerful bike. but now I think I was wrong. it is a worst bike in all 150 cc bike. I should purchased pulser or appache .I dead my money with Yamaha. and now I will give suggestion to my friends don’t purchase Yamahas bikes.

                                      Therefore I request you please take it return this bike and return my money.

                                      i have purchased Yamaha FZ16 from Paras Yamaha Showroom Vasai but The bike is not Proper from day1.theres indefinite Voice from Engine Not sorted Out Till today.Theres problem in engine, Chain,Shockers etc but no clues how and where to sort it out????????????
