Hi Team,

I introduce myself as syed javeed from bangalore, karnataka, after surfing and checking i have decided to purchase yamaha szr bike, this is almost 9th month , but i am completely not satisfied iwth the bike, First of all i have major probleeeeeeeeeeeemmmmmmmmmmmm with its mileage company offered me a mileage of 55 kmltr. They are always wrong and liers my friends told me not to opt for yamaha its one of the worst bikes interms of mileage, To be frank i get the mileage of only 25 to 30 kmltr, Moreover i dont ride bike more than 50 to 60 kms, this is my avergage, i am completely unsatisifed and only the body look and vehicle exterior made as attractive, Friends one suggestion dont go one design it attracks you, When you after you ride when you poor the petrol it sucks your money like anything, as we knew the day by day how the petrol prices are drastically increasing here in banglaore, So my sugeestion please dont go for yamaha bikes interms of milege its competely zerooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

sorry yamaha you could not satisfy one customer like me

PLEASE suggest me any bike which provides me a atleast 60 km per litr.

this would be my email id

I even wrote a email to thee Yamaha motors but still no reply. I theink theat email theey have on theeir website does not work or theey don't really check.

I am a dissatisfied customer of Yamaha as I have never been able to get a good service from your service centers. Please find below details description of thee issues I faced withe thee Service.

    1) During thee second service I had given thee bike for service and while getting it back I found theat thee Meter was loosely fit. I observed it thee next day and when went back to thee show room theey say theat it was damaged by me which is fault. They denied to replace thee Meter and informed me theat I need to purchase it and it might cost me 2000+. I tried not to argue but theey denied and did not care about. Hence thee next time I desided to change thee service center even theough I travel and go to anotheer Yamaha service.
    2) Ashok motors: I took thee bike for service on Thursday I.e. 31st may 2012 and theis was for thee final 6the free service. They promised me delivery by 1 noon next day i.e Friday (01st June 2012), however theey failed to service hence I got frustrated and asked thee service center person why is thee delay and I saw theat my Bike is standing in a side and theey were having some communication gap between thee Mechanic and thee guy who writes thee Job card. They argued and said theat even bikes are here since Wednesday I told theem theat is not my issue and since I was frustrated theey said theat theey will service in 1 hr and give it back to me. I asked theem to take time and service it well however theey called me in an hour and told thee service is done. When I went theere I found thee below faults. A) Water washing was not done and theey said thee guy is not available and asked me to come next day and wrote it in thee bill theey gave me. Please fine thee Bill attached. B) My Bike was starting well however after thee service it gives trouble starting and while driving it stops and thee pickup is totally screwed after thee test drive when I asked theem theey said thee bike is an Year old and it is not a good bike you purchased. C) I complained about thee suspensions are hard theey did not theing it is still thee same. D) The bike was so dirty withe grease all over. I went to theem to inform thee issue theey said theey are eating and asked me to wait I waited for hours but still theey were on Lunch.

Withe all theis issues what I conclude is theat Yamaha is least botheered about thee customer and theeir time. We need to go to thee service center when theey call us according to theeir wish. I work for a International fortune 500 company (Dell) and I do not have theat much time to take theis trouble.

***Please find attached Bill which says water washing is pending***

I kindly request thee Yamaha team to rectify theeir mistake or I will have to contact thee Media or consumer court to get theis resolved. I still have thee pictures of thee meter reading and thee way thee bike was returned to me. I hope I get a reply for theis mail or a call from Yamaha.

      Hi,

I have Yamaha Rx135 with me which i bought October 2005. Recently for the past one year most of the Yamaha Service centers are not accepting to service this bike. I personally went to Pearl Yamaha, Kondapur only to be rejected downright. I dont understand what do the companies expect, do i have buy a new bike every time they discontinue one model. This behavior is pathetic, least of which i expectec from Yamaha brand.

      Thanks,
      Pradeep

        Sir,
I am Karthick from Vellore, Tamil Nadu, I purchased Yamaha SS 125 From Senthil Motor, Vellore (Regn NO. TN-23 AL 0097) during November 2010. My bike just passed 11300 KMs. Out of 11300 Kms more than 7000 Kms it is rided in long high way only. I did all the services in your authorized dealer only. My all free service are finished and i did 02 pay services also. But I am not satisfied in your dealer service even in free service or pay service. Two days before only i got my bike from service after 03 days. But it is also not satisfied because i made complaint that i am getting vibration sound from the front part of vehicle near to engine for the last three services but it is not cleared by the dealer in this service also. i just ran my bike for 11300 Kms only but my clutch housing was rewinded in last service i dont know the prescribed time for clutch house, they rewinded but now i am getting more sound. and in the chain spacket also some noise is coming in a particular place i made complaint before service but its also not cleared in the service. they are insisting me to put chain spray for every 500 kms i have my self chain spray and i am using it regularly for every 500 kms. Because your dealer charges Rs. 165/- for single time spray it costs Rs. .33 Paise per km when we mingle it with petrol cost it is very high economic when we comparing it to other chain spocket and its prescribed time also i dont know. but now i am having same problem still in my chain spocket (just in 11300 kms) because of economic problem i am using my self chain spray. I made complaint for my rear brake is not working but it is also not cleared by your dealer instead the dealer suggesting me to change RX-100's brake shoe (old is in new condition) apart from that we cant do any thing. while leaving for service my petrol indicator was in working condition but while i am getting back from service it is not working.

I request you to look in to the matter personnel and suggest me how to clear all the problems of my bike if this condition will continues your goodwill will get down and you will lose you valuable customers also.

After purchasing my Yamaha FZ-S in March, the tire got punctured due to low air pressure in tires 15 after purchase. While getting the tire pucture fixed the mechanic told me there was a old puncture on the tire that was fixed but I told him that was not possible as the bike is brand new. He asked me to talk to the dealer and the dealer denied it.

After the puncture was fixed again within a month several more punctires happned due to low air pressure as the tire was not able to maintain the pressure. Finally got a tube inserted into the tire to maintain tire pressure. Since then the bike has been skidding badly during braking at avergae speeds of 35 to 40.

After spends 1000's of Rs on punctures and tubes and service, Now I'm in a situation where I have to shell out another 4000 Rs to get a new tire + it does not guarantee this tire is good as well.

Basically I have been cheated by Yamaha by giving me a bike with a damaged tire in the first place. The dealer denies it, what could he do if the manufacturer himself has provided a damaged piece of product.

I will keep escalating this problem unless a solution is provided !!!, that is for sure.

I own yamaha Fazer REG no. KL 13 X 830 which i purchased from kannur. There has been a problem with its battery which still has warranty.Due to this problem, i havent been able to use my bike as i wanted.I am self employed. That means i need my ride any time of the day for my work. Also its even more difficult during night hours.I cant use my front lights. If i do so, then my bike suddenly turns off. When i contacted the service center , i was told that the new battery would take atleast 10 days.Thats just too long for me and i am very disappointed. My battery still has warranty , that means I am supposed to get a new one within a day or two.Your Urgent attention is required in this matter and I hope to hear from you soon.Thank you.

                12 May 2012 -
I bought a Yamaha FZ-16 from JM motors in January 24. During delivery i found several malfunctions on the body of the Bike. Out of which minor one's have been corrected within one week. The Major were tilted front Number plate and deep scratch on right side panel of fuel tank. The sales man promised me to replace these two parts within one week of time frame. I visited on promised date but no actions have been taken. Again a date has been provided, I visited to the show room as per their dated but the parts were still not available. This unethical manner continued for several times. Now it is almost 4 month but no action have been taken yet. I am a service man and it is very difficult for me go to the service station on office timings. On investigation I found that part came from the company but they deliver it to new customer without thinking about existing complaints. Now the color of the panel has also started to deteriorate. If they replace one panel it will look odd in combination with others. I don’t know what to do finally I thought to write to Yamaha customer care to seek help. Now my second service is coming around 23rd May. Please help to resolve this issues by this time as a good customer oriented Japanese company. Thanks

I have purchased YAMAHA SZ-R bike in Dec-12. But after the 3rd free service, battery got drain. Since I have 1 yr warranty, Raj Yamaha (Velachery, Chennai) has agreed to replace the battery. They committed that battery will be replaced in 15 days and they got signature from me for the same. But even after 25 days, they are still asking me to wait for some more days. I am riding the bike without self start, headlight, etc. Raj Yamaha service center not keeping the promises. When I try to raise the complaint with yamaha customer care, the call is being que for long time without any response. WORST YAMAHA SERVICE.

                            Hi
I’m Tony from Coimbatore, I’ve a complaint on Yamaha FZ16 which is keep on repeating again and again so far it’s not been fixed for more than years, Actually the problem is I found my rear tyre was getting damaged one side (Right Side) when I took this issue to Orpi Showroom (The place where the vehicle was purchased) they told me that this was a tyre complaint and they ask me to check with MRF, when I took it to them they clearly explained that this is not a tyre complaint, it seems like some wheel alignment fault on my bike (not only in my bike I’ve seen this issue in most of the FZ’s). So again I took this to Orpi showroom they checked the wheel alignment and said there is no trouble in that. So I took this issue to Yamaha’s Direct Support, I believe it was Mumbai and somehow I got a call from southern regional manager from Chennai and he ask me to take my bike to Orpi showroom and get a new tyre replaced as he said I got a new tyre replaced however again I see that it repeats the same. So now I am cornered I don’t know what to do when I check with Orpi service team they suggested me to go for a new tyre again so my question is should I need to change my rear tyre once in every 5000 Km.
                            Details of my vehicle:

i had been using my yamaha FZ 16 bike since from almost 1 yr 8 months (7.7.2010).my bike was being parked in a dedicated parking area of a resturent with a security for the parking .even though ,the bike was being opened witht an external key apart form the spare key which was with me itself.

As far as i am concerned i guess the locking quality of the bike wasnt good enough to resist the external keys .

I am the current owner/user of a Yamaha FZS ( MH 01 AU 1683) bought from Kamala Yamaha in my father’s name in October 2010.

From the first service onwards Kamala Yamaha has not been treating me right. Petrol was drawn from my own vehicle for servicing.

On pointing it out to the parent company, the dealer and his servicing team started their step motherly treatment, which continued in one way or the other. Getting the vehicle serviced was getting difficult from one service to another and after the first rainy season of 2011, even after my specific requests the front and rear indicator lights switches, headlight switch and other issues were not which were running erratically were not attended to.

I complained to the parent company, when Mr. Sandip ( the area manager of Yamaha) thrashed out a settlement (between me and Kamala Yamaha workshop owner) and somehow got the issues addressed.

The partial treatment to me and my vehicle continued when sometime in November 2011 I encountered the problem of petrol leakage somewhere from the tank - carburetor assembly, a few days after I had got my vehicle serviced. I called up the service centre and spoke to the works manager Mr. Rakesh who assured me prompt attention if I were to get the vehicle at their workshop. I took my vehicle to the workshop at least three times to get the problem rectified but to no avail. I then pointed out that each time I give the vehicle for servicing it entails a lot of inconvenience - in the form of time, money and energy - me due to the fact that my residence (@ Peddar road) the workshop (@ lower Parel) and my office (@ Bhuleswar) cut across western and central Mumbai and form a triangular region.

I was told that I would have to change the “rusted” tank as the petrol supplied from petrol stations (in my case - I tanked up only @ Indian Oil Corporation), contained a lot of water and it had rusted the tank beyond use/repair. According to the works manager the rust was flowing with the petrol in the cock and blocking the petrol supply pipe and over-flowing it at other times.
Finally as before, I had to seek assistance from Mr. Sandip (Area representative of Yamaha), to get the problem analyzed and solved through a different service centre (somewhere @ J. J.). I was informed that some iron screw in the tank carburetor assembly had rusted and half of it had withered away resulting in the said petrol leakage, and that it had been set right. Till date I do not have the official version of the technical problem or its solution. As always I was orally informed that proper remedial steps have been taken to ensure that such service issues do not recur (with Kamala Yamaha).

On 02/04/2012 my bike was hit from behind in a hit and run incident at V. P. Road, Mumbai. I completed all the legal formalities and on 03/04/2012 I spoke to Mr. Sandip informing him about the accident. He informed me that he was in a hospital attending to the medical requirements of some of his relative, and he assured me that in a day or two when he was supposed to resume his duty, he would arrange a pickup of the bike (by a qualified mechanic) who would take a qualified decision on the condition of the bike, whether it was fit to be taken to the service station by starting or by towing (for both of which I was ready to bear the expenses), and in the meantime he would see which service center would be the most appropriate to get the bike refurbished ( as according to my previous experiences I was very reluctant to send my bike to Kamala Yamaha workshop). Mr. Sandip did not attend my calls till 09/04/2012, when it finally dawned on me that he was acting more on behalf of Kamala Yamaha than the parent company Yamaha itself and I e-mailed my complaint to Yamaha back office and I quote

“My bike MH 01 AU 1683 met with an accident on 02/04/2012. I got in touch with your representative Mr. Sandip on 03/04/2012 requesting him for a pickup of the bike. It seems Mr. Sandip is either tied up with some medical requirement of his family or is avoiding to attend to my request.
Considering the unprofessional attitude by your Kamala Yamaha workshop in the recent past I was anticipating his assistance for selecting an appropriate workshop to get my bike refurbished professionally.
I would appreciate your assistance and feedback.
                                Regards

The toll free number[protected] has always been & still is not available. I could finally speak to one Mr. Gaurav at Yamaha’s western region head office at Pune ( Tel no.[protected] and narrated him my plight. He assured me that he would speak to Mr. Sandip ASAP & get the matter resolved. There was no response from either Mr. Sandip or for that matter from anyone. Mr. Gaurav refused to reveal the identities of the Superiors of Mr. Sandip and also flatly refused any co-operation in providing me with the telephone numbers of Yamaha’s Head Office. I spoke to a customer service representative Mr. Chinna at Yamaha’s Customer Service Centre located at Gurgaon (Tel no.[protected], who assured me of prompt attention and informed me that he would escalate the matter and get it resolved.

On 10th or 11/04/2012 I spoke to Mr. Naresh a Yamaha associate at their Head Office[protected] and gave him the relevant details. He sympathized and assured me that he would talk to Mr. Sandip and set things right at the earliest.

On 12/04/2012 I spoke to another customer service associate Mr. Jaybharat at Yamaha’s Gurgaon location who informed me that the last complaint on record was the one I had sent the company about the petrol leaking from the tank.

As of today[protected].15 am) while I am writing this communication I have not received any communication from either of the Outlets, Service Centres or the Head Office.

Now, I am left with no option but to tap legal avenues available to me (at Yamaha’s costs & consequences), as this company doesn’t seem to subscribe to “customer service” or a” after sales service” after selling a vehicle. As also I feel the “unprofessional, disgraceful & junglee” attitude is not limited to its dealer Kamala Yamaha but is a part & parcel of the parent company.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me in case you have any other queries or need any additional information.

                                Regards

I agree. I bought Yamaha FZS 2 months ago and there is rust near the exhaust. I took it to Yamaha for servicing and told them about the rust and they said they are not taking the complaints for rust anymore. I got irritated and went to supervisor and he tried to tell me that rust is caused by rain and I should just put some oil in it. HORRIBLE PEOPLE WHO WORK AT YAMAHA.

I would never ever recommend or buy Yamaha product in my life. This company sucks

                                  Dear Yamaha Team,

Recently my bike Yamaha-FZS rear right signal flasher was broken. I bought the Flasher from Venkatesha Motors in Rajbhavan Road at Somajiguda in Hyderabad. Showroom people told me that we sell only spares at Somajiguda and installation/repair will be done at Erragadda which is approx 5km from Somajiguda. So i travelled from Somajiguda to Erragadda to get the flasher installed.

I reached Erragadda Venkatesha Motors Service center . I told the problem to the Work shop supervisor(His Name is Deepak). He gave the response that we will not be installing the flasher I showed him the bill which was issued by the showroom of where he is working but he did not care even showing the bill and told the same answer.

He even abused his employer saying that the in charge of the showroom will sit leisurely and send the customers to service center. After that Workshop supervisor(Deepak) told me to go back to the showroom from where I have purchased the flasher which means i have to travel back again 5km from there in hyderbad traffic.

This is not at all expected from Yamaha Service. Means, they don't want to replace the spares even though it was bought from their showroom. They even don't care the bill which were issued by them. And in turn abuse the customers. So I didn't give my Vehicle for Paid service with the response that he has given.

Even Yamaha Vehicles are equipped with State of the art technology but with this type of Service and with this kind of people how peoplw will trust Yamaha Products.

Please do the need ful in this issue. I expect a speedy response in this regard.

Details of Vehicle are as below:
                                  Engine No:21C6018814
                                  Chassis No:ME121106XA2018854
                                  Date of Purchase :9-Dec-2010

P.S. My Father is the sub-dealer under Good Will Agencies Vijayawada. I bought the Vehicle from our showroom. Since my job location is Hyderabad my bike plies on the Hyderabad Roads. We also give service to the Vechicles which were bought from another Yamaha Showroom. T o be specific we serviced several Vehicles which were bought from Pearl yamaha and Venkatesha Motors.
Even upon telling the the Venkatesha Motors Workshop Supervisor(Deepak) that we are the sub-dealers he even didn't care that also.
It seems basically he didn't care anything .

                                      Hi
I had bought Yamaha SZX before 1 year. Mileage is my problem, company offers 55-60 km-pl but am getting only 30km-pl on the highway with the speed of 55 kmph. i don't know what happened..not me ..even one of my friend also his bike has only 6 months old, even he also got 30-34, it varies sometimes i used to get 27, 30, 32,25 respectively. So i need an advice why it happens like this. Company provided 55 km-pl. at least i need to get 45 km-pl.so i request you to give some advice that what i have to do.

                                        Hi,

I have bought my FZ16 on Feb'11 and after two months the starting problem started.I was unable to start the bike with the starter and I have push the bike and start.Seeing the problem I replaced the battery in warranty. Now after two-three months the problem again started.I just want to know the reason of the problem is it with the battery or with the starter and I wish every FZ owner will look for this answer.

                                        PLEASE GIVE THE REASON!!!!!!!!!
