Dear Sir,

I am Sourav Saha,residing at Garia,Kolkata.I am having a Yamaha Fazer,bought in Jan,2010.I had complained to the Yamaha dealer, M/S Leaders about a front tyre problem that had occurred when I was going through uneven road occurring air leaking out from the front tyre constantly. I have already incurred quite a lot of money for repairing the tyre rim ,filling the gap between the rim & tyre .I reported this to my bike dealer but they advice us to repair the same from any of the tyre repairing centre. I had lodged twice the complaint to Yamaha Motors India customer care division in this respect..bt they haven't bothered to reply .I would therefore request you to kindly take this matter and help me to way out from this sevear problem as soon as possible.

    sir,
    i had booked a bike from Bhubaneswar to Gomoh on 12/05/2011
    bulty number B 003298..
    motorcycle number OR 02 BC 4127 by purushottam express from bhubaneswar to gomoh.
    but the bike has not reached Gomoh till 21/06/2011. I contacted the authorities at Gomoh parcel office and there the authorities said that the bike has not been unloaded at Gomoh station. When i asked that how can i get to know when my bike will reach Gomoh and where it is now the parcel supervisor said that they cannot tell where the bike is now and when it will reach Gomoh, the parcel supervisor said that they do not have access to get information where the bike is now and he said that you will have to check everyday at Gomoh railway parcel office for your bike until it reaches Gomoh. Sir i am a medical representative by profession and its not possible for me to work without my bike, i am very much bothered that where is my bike and also very tensed as no railway official is giving any satisfactory answer. If possible i want to lodge a complaint against parcel service of Indian Railways and i request you to please do the needful.

      I had bought a black R15 6 months ago,from your authorised dealer at Link Road,Malad West,Mumbai. On the first day itself I faced a problem with the bike.The engine would get switched of as soon as I would cross 4000 RPM.The problem continued for 1 day then it stopped.My bike functioned properly there after.I have regularly serviced my bike.I took my bike back from third free servicing on Wednesday 15/06/11 from Factory Shop,Malad West.
      The next day when i started my bike I faced the same problem.The engine dies out as soon as I cross 4000 RPM,or change the gear.Since the service center is far away from my place,I called them up and they agreed to send there person at my place to fix my bike.Its been two days but till now no one has come.Whenever I call them all I get is empty assurances.Today the operator told me to load my bike in the tempo and bring it to their service center.Is this how you treat your customers?My bike is under warranty and serviced on time,yet your people don't come to fix my bike,which is facing some problem clearly due to some factory error.Further I had pointed this out to the service center people during second servicing,and they said it would be taken care of.They are even saying that the problem must be due to water entering the tank!! How can water enter a closed fuel tank?I am sorry to say that I am very displeased with your services and if this matter is not taken care of quickly I will be forced to go to the consumer court.

      i have your bike yfz-r15, in jabalpur city when i go to servies center he said that your 3rd serives is laps because of you come after due date i am not agree that if i not run my bike specific km then why i come to services and i not agree with yours services because i have many more bike for some other company that company give all that type of services and in this mounth i like to purchase fz-s but like this type of services i not like to purchase that bike

        I have Purchased Yamaha YBR 125 Bike on April 7th 2011; At the time of Purchase the sales man has promised that the Bike would give 50-55kmpl mileage on Traffic roads and would give more on long distance. After two days My bike engine was not starting by self; i had complained this to Service engineer; they have replaced with the new Exide batterry; i iwas getting an approximate mileage of 47-48kmpl, i thought that might be at the initial stage it woudl give less. I gave my bike for First service at 727 kms. After servicing it started giving only 42 - 45 kmpl; and again i had the same battery problem, now they told that problem was in Rectifier, they have replaced the rectifier, and told that they have corrected the mileage problem. But the problem still remains the same, with the mileage and the battery rectifier. Now they have told that Battery is not charging; they have returned back to Exide at Thardbund, Secunderabad, it took almost one week, i went to tarbund today and enquired the same; they told that the Battery is perfectly ok; the problem is with Rectifier; Servcie Engineerng has admitted the problem. we came back to srvice center he tells that My senior Service engineer will come and attend the prolem on Monday.

            I have purchased a Yahama FZ motorcycle in january this year.it have been 5 month
            Recently the bike has started to give problems related to the Battery and the Start-ups.
            The engine suddenly stops even during speed of 45-50 kmphs.i have been to service centre many times but at that time they give the bike after inspection they say its completely ok but afterward again the same problem appears again

              Hi All,

              Yet another story of a very disappointed cust of Yamaha india. Hope they are reading this and woud appreciate if this message is sent to other forums as well also would like to strongly object to their behaviour towards old loyal customers. i own a yamaha RXZ 5- Speed Disc brake vehicle ( Blue ) ( 2001 ) and have tried to get spare parts at every yamaha dealers in the city but looks like its simply imposible. No asuurance from the yamaha factory shop in malad , Mumbai either, they are simply passing the buck. The Senior management at yamaha seems to be sleeping!!!! If you cant offer service, DO NOT launch products in this country pack your bags and #&*@ off. You have no right to put peoples life at risk as even small parts like Disc brake pads arent available and its a mystry when they will..... There is one thing i will ensure that if i meet with an accident this company will be sued, as inspite of sending an email to their backoffice in noida no response has been recieved even after a month. WAKE UP....................
              If any one knows where the original spares are available in mumbai pls let me know. you can call me on [protected] or SMS. Its time to come together guys and take away their business, refer your friends to buy competitors products and show yamaha that CUSTOMER IS KING.

                very worst service center in Kotdwara Distric- Pauri Gharwal.the staff was so uncooperative that they told me to wait for 3 hrs , after istated that i want to complain they came to attend me, no one really cared for customers and most of the customers were complaining.normal mechanic is better than yamaha service centre.pls change ur mechanic.I feel very bad behalf of Yamaha bikes, due to this wrost service center the YAMAHA bikes are lossing its reputation in the market. Especially in Kotdwara.

Service Schedule of my Motor cylces going regular as per the specification. Besides regular services I have loadge the complanint of my motorcycle concerns as below:-
                1. Fuel Leak
                2. Uneven Tyre Wear of rear tyre on rhs
                3. Missing problem
                Above cited concerns were loadge regularly to the Dealers but still there is no solutions of the above cited concerns. All the times my humble request for solution of the pending concern being ignore.

                    Dear Sir,

                    My father bought a yamaha SZ ( engine no 54B2002860, Chansis No - ME 154B029A2002940 ) from GREEN AUTOMOBILE FARIDABAD. The veiche regn No is : HR 51 AK 1960. I have bought it in the month of Oct - 10. Since when I bought the motorcycle it has started giving me problems. It used to stop after travelling few kilometers. When I get it checked from the service station they are saying that filter has choked. The manual of the company are shoeing that filter has to be changed after 12000 Km but Motor cycle has run only 5900 Km.The reason given by service station is that the manuals given by company are according to Japanese Standards. More over the average given by motorcycle is only 35 Km/ Liter but according to company it has to deliver at least a average of 45 Km/ Liter. There is noise coming from piston when ever the motorcycle is stooping.

                    No action is taken from service station after the purchase.

                    Please take necessary action.

                    Hi,
                    I have bought Yamaha SZR last year, in the month of November. I am satisfied with the performance of the bike overall except for during winter seasons. It starts fine but the problem appears after I travel few kilometers. The engine acts as if there is no gas. The engine stalls and is difficult to start. No matter how many times I take it to the service station the problem does not get solved. During day when the weather is relatively warmer the bike runs good, but when the temperature is low (in morning: below 10 degree) the problem re-appears.

                      I had been purchased a new Yamaha SZX 153 cc on dt 15/04/011 from Jaipur,
                      Roshan yamaha Dealer at rajapark , Jaipur. after 15 to 20 days before service
                      Bike problem has been started (Self Starting problem) i alredy 2 times leave my
                      bike to the service center, they charged the battery but the problem is same.
                      Now he says boss go to Mansarover, more than 10 to 15 km far and their Battery
                      vendor will sort out your problem.Why should i go their ? for says Yamaha
                      company not support me so kindly sort out my problem.

                      It means yamaha Company not able to support his customers problems they only
                      want to sale vehicle with no service.

                        I had bought yamaha R15 from the same dealer Hassan motors panaji as when buying they make all promises in the world that you would never be left alone starting the service was good as one day one untrained worker and a helper who was under age to work was getting my bike from the ramp had a fall with my bike where all the side fiber body was into pices as I was present there saw the sceane and was forced to change the parts but the brake lever was unnoticed and had to pay for it later when my servicing was taking place they charge you everytime but the problem remains the same and for the same problem I had to shellout more money everytime as contaced the owner he refused to service the bike and said that I should talk to the company is there any law for them? or the consumer court can help Or is it our fault for going for a yamaha product they have seen it before where the company was it up to us to refuse buying a yamaha as a youth leader I would let people know what the company and dealer in goa are up to

                          I have given by bike i.e. Yamaha FZ 16 registeration no - GJ-5-FR-2329 to Power Biker Service Station, Near Bhulka bhavan, Surat. As per their saying, they have replaced my bike's Rear break shoes, even there after my breaks are not working to my satisfaction. I reported the same to the Service station incharged but they are not agreeing to the same. They just said "The breaks are working and we cannot do more then that". If my old break shoe and new break shoe work the same then why do i need to replace the same.
                          this was not enough, before giving the bike for service i check my bike. the trip meter was working fine. There after they reported that the trip meter is not working and u need to replace entire unit.
                          They cannot take care of the bikes place at their primisses.
                          The technicians are not well trained and have no mannes of talking with the customers.

                            We have purchased the above said bike from Green Yamaha, Faridabad on Finance with installment of Rs. 2212.00 of 22 months and gives us two year warranty with 6 service. They committed to us, if there is any issue/engine issues in bike they replace the same but we have also done three services from Yamaha Service centre and there two time changed the cylinder kit/ring piston, and the same has been replaced once in service centre and once changed by Engineer Surender Atri from Yamaha and now we are facing the same problem and now smoking the bike in the service of 3rd time.

                            Request to you please look into the matter and help to close this issue on urgent basis as we are going to discuss with Green Yamaha, there is no any response from them and they give also the argument on the same.

                            We have purchase the some due to our family requirement and we are not from such rich family and we know, how to adjust the installment. We need change the bike as were busy in our daily routine work and we have enough time to take bike service centre/Green Yamaha.

                            Dear Sir,

                            Last January 2011 I bought SZ-R yamaha bike in Jain Motors, North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai-17.
                            Till now free service going on, But the service people not properly doing services and complaints.
                            Simply wash the bike and change the oil but they did not do other complaints which was given by me. So, i am not satisfied jain motors services, what can i do?                             My yamaha szr is making some popping sound from silencer after 10 days i bought it. I've done 1st servicing but still it's not ok. The sound comes most often. Yamaha service centre says that might be petrol problem but others bikes are running smoothly with same petrol..what is this??can anybody suggest me the remedy??? maile me at [protected]@yahoo.com

                                My brother has purchased a Yamaha bike SZX model on 25.10.2010 from a
                                Yamaha authorised dealer at Rewa(M.P.) naming Sri Padma Motors vide
                                invoice no.785 dated 25.10.2010. After a fortnight, he felt starting
                                problem in the bike, then he rushed to the dealed. The dealed told him it
                                will be checked during first service. At the time of first service, the
                                dealer representive told my brother that there is a battery problem, you
                                have to leave the bike till replacement received. My brother has left the
                                bike with dealer and has repeatedly chased the dealer,but he only could
                                get his bike after 15 days with replacement of so called new battery. The
                                problem was again started from the very next day. He again rushed to the
                                dealer by wasting his valuable buissiness time, but the dealer and his
                                representative did not give proper response and misbehaved with my brother
                                also.due to no provision of alternate arrangement of kick, it is very
                                difficult toi start the bike with weak or faulty battery. The dealer told
                                my brother that this problem can not be solved unless you ride 40-50 kms.
                                per day. Now he is fedup with the bike and behaviour of dealer. Therefore
                                it is requested that the matter may be viewed seriously and the problem of
                                my brother may be solved personally by the yamaha area incharge consern.

                                  I purchased a yamaha fazer from Yamaha Riders, MG Road pune in August, 2010. I've ridden the bike for 9500kms and have availed the free service 5 times. I am not at all happy with the quality of the service. THe bike has become more noisy, persistent rear brake issues have not been solved after telling them so many times. After my recent service at 9000km the guys at the service centre said that the brake liner was broken and it had to be replaced, even after replacement there is not change in the braking and the brakes have started making more noise. The engine has become even more clunky. I am very depressed at the quality of service after spending so much money on it.

                                  I bought my Fazer-16 on 31.March.2011, and have done 3500kms on it. I love the bike, although it sometimes lack the power punch, the riding position, the torque curve, everything about it fits like a glove to my personality.

                                  But, I'm sorry to say the people working at my Servicing Station are ruining the experience. While TVS customers get pampered by having their bikes washed, checked, cleaned thoroughly, always leaving the customer free of any doubts he/she might have with the bike. My Yamaha Servicemen couldn't wait to 'just get it over with'. An attitude that seemed contagious. He was supposed to clean my air filters, the only thing he did was to open, wait a few minutes, look around to see if anyone's watching...put the seat back on, job done! He really did, I watched him freom a waiting room they have made for their so-called customers.

                                  At least he tightened my chain. That's the most I get out of the "JOBS TO BE CARRIED OUT DURING THE nTH FREE SERVICE" Well, that's the most anyone's got out of them too, since I've heard numerous friends of mine with a Yamaha complain of their terrible manners towards their customers.

                                  Not only me, but even my friends, think there's a vibration coming from the engine that makes a hissing sound when the revs climb higher. The engine of my bike, that is. When I asked the Servicemen over at Yamaha, they simply blamed in on, "No two engines are alike, nor do they sound alike", "Some engines were made in Indonesia. Yours come from a batch of Indian forged engines, so quality-wise, it cannot be the same". those were the actual words spoken to me. How can a customer feel like coming back to the place for the next Servicing?

                                  I love Yamaha because i think the Fazer series was built for me, and me only! So much common sense packed into one concept. The Fazer series has them all. But I really don't feel like going back to the Dealership for my next Servicing, let alone buy a new bike.

                                  I feel I've almost outgrown this cubic capacity and think of moving on with a larger capacity. I feel, quality-wise in fit and finish, Yamaha trounces Honda as Adidas trounces Reebok in their quality of presentation, a finished product so smooth and shiny, it glows. But if I have to chose between the two, I might be tempted to go for the latter and ride with peace of mind than having a bike you love, but maintaining it can be such a hell. Do you want to get married to the prettiest girl who will boost your image and ego so much that you forgive everything else like her lack of skills within the household and kitchens? Or would you swallow up your pride and marry the not so pretty one but who is a swell house-wife, caring for your family, then, you finally have a chance to relax?

                                  If they let their customers leave as satisfied and happy as the TVS Dealership does in our area, that would be the perfect marriage. A bride with the looks, and the skills to take care of you and your family, so you can relax while feeling satisfied and happy.

                                    I have a FZ-S. For the past 20 days my bike is stand still. My bike is not getting started.There might be some technical problem. I called the Yamaha factory shop in malad. But there was no response.I called them every day but i recieved a answer saying there are not enough people in the factory work shop. Finally i had to call the Manager who has assured me that the complaint will be attended.
                                    Also in the month of jan i went to andheri(mahakali) yamaha centre to service my bike. There one mechanic told me that the brake shoes of the bike has got teared. He suggested me to replace them. I said ok but i asked for the Yamaha original part. They were out of stock so they fitted the CHALU MAL in my bike. If the Yamaha people are not using the original parts then whats the use of paying them so much.They chit the customers. They dont attend the customers in a proper and professional way. I am thinking of selling my bike ang go for HONDA .

                                      I have purchased the Byke as per commitment from Vitesse Yamha Showroom as our workshop close to them as per their guidance our more people have purchased the byke from them.

                                      While running the byke, I have been lot of difficulties in driving the byke of YAMAHA Model No.SZ-X, after several reminders / call also meeting to showroom as they are near to us since Jan'2011 & there is no feedback / response, due to this I have returned at showroom & have acknowledgement.(Job Card No.7248 dtd.21Mar11)

                                      Informed them either you could return my money or replace byke urgently as I could not travel non availability of byke…

                                      Colour on some of the parts of byke has been removed automatically, pictures has been provided
                                      1. Black color of handle near the key has been removed
                                      2. Red color of tank on top has been removed
                                      3. Black color below the engine has been removed
                                      4. Clutch problem since begining but they adjusting every time.
                                      5. Gear box problems ince begining was highlighted to them.

                                      Suffer lot of, need resolution urgently..

                                        I have purchased a motorcycle Yamaha Fazer (Red) Chassis no.ME145S01X92013962 from M/s. INDIA YAMAHA MOTOR PVT.LTD.GF 01-04, MGF MALL SAKET.NEW DELHI -17 on 15th October 2009.Vide Inv No. IYM/SK/09/000160.
                                        I regularly carried out services of the vehicle as per guidelines as recommended through Ahthd service center.
                                        I started getting lots of problems in this bike as

                                        1. Battery acid leakage problem occurred within 01 week caused body damage.

                                        2. Pick up problem & white smoke from engine with in 6 months & replaced the rings piston.
                                        3. Oil leak from head 3 time same problem with in 1 month its white smoke from engine after overhauling I sent my bike at ADARSH YAMAHA authrized service center for repair on 10/01/2011 , but according to the manager no parts were available.
                                        4. On 10/02/11 it was re sent to workshop till date I have not recd back after repair & even the bill of repair has been paid on 16.0.11 but vehicle is not delivered because they have lost my key which was having a remote of centre lock also.
                                        5. Now I am not in any status & without vehicle.
                                        6. With all above I am forced to approach Consumer forum for my harassments & compensations.
                                        7. All bills attached for your references


                                        Awaiting for an early reply and a suitable action to be taken.
