On August 3rd, 2018, I attended a presentation made by Country club representatives, named Dharshan, Muneer and RajaShekar at Café Coffee Day, JP Nagar, Bangalore.
They explained me different plans of Country Club / Country Vacations.
On the condition of me paying the membership fee ( Rs. 1, 39, 054 ) on the spot, they offered me following membership benefits, none of which I received.
1. Domestic and International stay for 6 nights, 7 days for a duration of 10 years for 8 people with 1 bhk accommodation.
2. Rs. 7000 cashback to the credit card.
3. One time all paid international vacation.
Towards the membership, I paid Rs. 1, 39, 054 with my credit card by converting this amount into 12 EMIs with 14.55 % annual interest. While signing the agreement, and not finding the above above offers in agreement, they misguided me by telling it as a generic common agreement and told that I would receive different customized membership documents within 10 days after signing agreement.
At the same time, I got a verification call to which the sales team told me it as a mere account activation call and I just need to agree to the questions asked in the call. They told me again that I would get separate membership documents in the welcome kit and deceptively convinced me to agree for the membership period as 5 years in the call.
Later on finding online social media full of similar customer experiences and they being duped by the Country Club in a similar fashion, I referred to the point number 34 (cool off period) in the agreement. According to that, I can cancel the membership within 10 days from the signing of the agreement by sending an email to [protected]@countryvacationsmail.com (mailto:[protected]@countryvacationsmail.com). The paid amount would be refunded after deducting Rs. 3800. Therefore, on August 6, 2018 I sent an email to cancel my membership with immediate effect and asked to refund my money. I received no response except an confirmation e-mail from Country Club about receiving my email. I sent many email reminders, but did not receive any response from Country Club about refunding the money. Please see the copy of the emails attached. I also talked about the same to the country club sales team, they promised to resolve either all my concerns or get my money refunded but nothing happened. To discuss my issues I also tried to call the phone number given in the agreement[protected], but there has never been any response on that either.
I have also sent a legal notice to Country Club on 18th Sept 2018 and yet have not received any response.
This is their modus operandi and they have cheated 1000s of people like that. It is very hard to fight them alone as the conditions in their agreement are very cleverly put together and we committed basic mistakes. Also it is not easy to fight in our legal system too for a busy person. So as an individual we tend to give up after sometime. We have to put a collective fight against them and stop this day light robbery. Mahiti Seva Samiti / Mass India NGO, had put up good fight against them sometime back and was successful. Now they have taken these cases in Karnataka as well. I am also a member of the NGO and with our president, we are planning to go to police and file a consumer case, a civil suit and criminal case against those people. We will also open the interfaces with multiple media channels and ministry of tourism and demand cancellation of their license.

      5 days back, I was watching your program and found that you helped one person from getting refund from country club.
      It is more then 4 years now. Do many calls, so many emails and tons of harassment. Still they couldn't fulfill the scheme of membership.

      I request you to help me in refund of my complete membership amount of Rs 100, 000.

      They had promise to give the following before taking this membership which is recorded in this previous email as well:

      (i). 5 Promocodes for Air Tickets.

      (ii). Gold coins under MGM introduction of two new members (two gold coins 1 gm each)

      (iii). 19 years holiday packages through holiday vouchers

      I will require full refund of Rs 1 Lakh + 5 Lakhs of getting harassed from last 4 yrs.

        We had been called to attend 1 hr presentation of country club at 6.00 pm on 26th october 2018 at kabir banquet, vadodara. Even after 2 hr of session they forced us to take membership, as i asked them to provided ther commitment in writtting, we all have to face weird behaviour from the staff. At the end they didn't allow us to fill feedback form as well. On top of that they did not give redemption voucher as well which they commited. This type of cheating was not expected from country club. Country club is operating very impolite, rude, unmannerly,... Completely fraud and cheating... Beware of mo.-no-[protected], [protected]

          2 days back one sales person named Keshav, sold me 5year vacation saying I will get 5 6day 7 nights vacation plan in Country Club Yelahanka bangalore.
          He asked to sign agreement where only 2night 3day package was mentioned.
          When I asked abut 7 day package he told that u will get on call in customer care while booking.
          Now I have come to realisation that he cheated me.
          there is no five 7day 6 night vacation .
          I want my refund of INR 48500.
          May management it self is involved in such frauds.
          Wish to get an explanation from management and resolution on grievance.

            I had visited the country club with my friends. The manager (Rajesh. M) of the club is asking us to pay extra amount even tho i am having my membership card.

            The managers behavior towards the customers is not at all fair.. He speaks so rudely to us, he behaves in a very bossy way always keeps shouting.

            The eminities and care given to us is very poor.
            Please take a strict action because this really disappointed us.

              We been cheated by Country Club India;
              Mr. Sayan Roy has call us for a meeting in Bhopal on 24/01/2018. where he has made many false commitments to us, during our conversation I had informed to Mr. Roy that I will be visiting Hyderabad in the month of June, only after his convincing we have converted a simple visit to a full family vacation.
              I said the Mr. Roy that what you are offering is ‘too good to be true, therefore I will pay an initial amount and rest I will pay post my visit to Hyderabad.
              He agreed and ask me to pay Rs. 25000, which we did via credit card dated[protected].
              Afterwards I has numerus conversation with him. Only just before our visit, he started avoiding my calls.
              One fine day Mr. Roy has given Mr. Naqib’s number [protected], and ask me have further communication with him.
              I had communicated about the commitments made by Mr. Roy, he initially assures me that everything will be taken care of.
              Then even he stated not taking our calls.I have written many mails to Mr. Niqib, but we didn’t get any response.

              Finally, on 30 May, when I did not get any response I have done booking from other source, and sent a mail to the Central Consumer Care Country Club, CC to Mr. Niqib & Mr. Roy for cancelling my membership and refund of my amount.
              We did not get any response, on[protected], I have launch a complain at ‘National Consumer Helpline’ complain No.: 762934
              I did come to know the even ‘National Consumer Helpline’ people have mailed Country Club, but did not got any response.

              My simple advice to you is since we did not use any of your service, return our money which was given to you in advance.

                We have taken membership of country club vacations membership no CCDL213V10LB29525 from April 2018 and paid Rs. 1, 44, 000/- for 10 years membership. Since than we have not been able to enjoy a single day holiday packages offered by company due to every time they said no hotel is available on my dates.. We we were always misguided and cheated by the staff in Delhi. We tried to contact the customer care on phone multiple times but in vain.                   This is in regards with the company which is cheating its customers by providing false promises and when the customer ask to cancel the subscription and refund the amount they are not doing it. Country Club/Country Vacations is the company registered in Hyderabad and doing it's operations across India this company is into Travel and Hospitality. They are trapping middle class people in the following way. When we visit more mega store to buy groceries there they will appoint a person to distribute a pamphlet asking us to fill our mobile number they will inform it is for lucky dip, post that we will get a call that we won a gift of worth 25k come with your family and collect in cafe coffee day. Once we went there there sales executives are trained in such a way that they will forcibly make you purchase their membership. I am one of the victim I visited cafe coffee day marthahalli and purchased country club membership for 133000 rupess and my sales agent name is sandeep. Post purchase of country club membership when I check in internet most of the people commented about them negatively, so I decided to cancel my subscription from that day onwards i.e, 10th feb onwards I am following up them to cancel my subscription but I am not geting any proper reply. There are lot of people who got into their trap and lost their hard earned money, Request you take some necessary action against them and help to get my money back.

                      We had been called to attend 1 hr presentation of country club at 7:35 pm on 20th october at 6th floor, a wing, amrapali complex, opp alpha one mall, ahmedabad. Even after 2 hr of session they forced us to take membership by mr vishal patel & his lady manager. We went with our kids to attend the session, we all have to face weird behaviour from the staff. At the end they didn't allow us to fill feedback form as well. On top of that when i checked voucher validity it's been already expired. This is not expected from renowned firm like country club. Country club is operating very impolite, rude, unmannerly, unsophisticated staff at 6th floor, a wing, amrapali complex, opp alpha one mall, ahmedabad. I will not suggest to anyone to attend the company's presentation at country club. I hope this feedback will reach to head office of country club. The expired voucher number is -[protected].

                        My name is satish kumar, staying in faridabad haryana
                        I was getting call from country club from 2015 and every time i ignore and deny to take any gift and services

                        In 2018 oct month i received call to collect gift and this time (20/oct/2018: 5:30 pm) i visited with my wife and kid to collect gift, but before they show me presentation and company info on their own web site and own you tube channel

                        They start there service from 349000 rs and after 20 min they give me deal of 70000 for 5 year

                        After 10 min they come with another option that is pay now 35000 and rest payment after 1 year

                        They showed me calculation on behalf of 70000 after made payment they add 10500 rs as amc charges (Which is completely wrong)

                        Now i was surprised and help less because i already paid 35000 rs

                        When i back to home and start looking about their properties, i was just shocked and my boold pressure increase because its completely false and wrong information

                        During discussion present they told me all their properties are 5 start but when i check online almost 90% are below 3 start and very cheep

                        As per scheme per day room charges are 4900 rs and when i check price online from different web site its below 2500 rs,

                        This is completely cheating and fraud — they showed me hotel image on their own web site and they showed us video on you tube channel which also uploaded by him self

                        I am very much help less, please support to refund my payment

                        I also raised request in bank credit card department to hold this transaction but they are not sure

                            I paid money, they promised me so many things depends on the explanation given by praveen from bangalore, we have taken membership, thats it.

                            Until the money debited from account they are fine, after that we didn't get what they promised, i sent messages, cals, email, tried contacting in all ways, not even single reply from that buggers, don't cheat people like just for money sake, these employees are worse than company owners, i think they are paying for cheating people, waste of money and you will feel so bad for seeing two kinds of people before taking membership and after taking membership.,

                              They are the buggers in india, i paid money and they promised so many things now not even responding to calls, bloody buggers and cheating people lik this, Employees who are working are paying by the company to cheat members lik us .

                              Country Club is a fraud and only know to fool consumers.
                              We want to take this to Consumer court and fight back my parents hard earned money. They are in trouble and no one from this Country club is helping us. This is how they treat consumers who have paid so much money on trust and mistreating them.

                              do know that writing a complaint here might not be of any help. But its just a start. I want to try out every possible means to get my money back .

                                I am recently signed a deal with country club for 5 years. I paid rs 75000. But they don't ask more things of it. They cheated us. But now they didn't take calls. I want to give my money back and mail them to cancel my membership. But they ignored it. What can i do now? Plz help me. My [protected]@gmail.com.

                                    I have been the member of country club Hyderabad since 14 Years.
                                    Whenever I try to book an accommodation at other staes out of Hyderabad. There is no proper reply and response from the country club desk at Hyderabad. and being a member I am using the accommodations out of the club.
                                    Today I have been trying to book the accommodation again for my Goa trip still faced the same problem. and they are responding in rude to ask to the person who has made you as the member in club.
                                    Today I spoke to Mr.Spencer, he tried to support me and once he is not able to support he gave the call to his boss. BUT he totally talking in irresponsible way that responding in rude to ask to the person who has made you as the member in club.where as his subordinate trying to support.
                                    This is the way of response from Country Club Hyderabad for a customer of 14Years. I contacted on[protected] & many nos.

                                      I took country club membership on august 08, 2018. They promised me 100 things and made me to pay 65k, after this i made to realize that non of the promises are true. These are people operating in bangalore, selling their dirty ideas and making money. I'm not sure how they can get away by cheating so many people. Even if you have fell into thier trap. Please email me on mohan. [protected]@gmail.com and also lodge a complaint. Hope someone shuts them out and stop fooling people and make people cry after spending their hard earned money.

                                        I satish kumar mor have taken a membership from country club vacations in december 2017 (Membership no. Is cvhyd5club245708by paying 56 thousand on one condition that they will send me dubai along with my wife if i take lifetime membership of country vacations. But after taking the membership they are not fulfilling the promise and the executive nusrath works in their head office in hyderabad begumpet office is not responding my calls and even not availaible in office and i dont know whom to contact regarding this issue. I just wanna request to country vacation is that i dont want any refund from u ppl i just want to visit dubai as promised by u ppl for 6 nights 7 days as i saved money for that purpose only wen i thought of going to dubai but my dream is unfulfilled and i have to save again for that and i dont wanna loose my hard earned money. So please its a request to do the needful and oblige me
