Sir,
On the 26th of march, 2017, my husband, mr. P. S. Gopal got a call from the country club representative inviting us for a presentation on the country club offers. We had received such calls earlier as well but we never accepted them. On that day since we were already at the korum mall, thane, west (Country club india outlet) we decided to go as we genuinely wanted to know what it was all about.

One mr. Amol nikam made a presentation of about 1 hr to us and also made his director mr. Rajbirluthra talk to us. We were impressed by their impeccable and polite behaviour. When we expressed our inability to make the entire payment, mr. Luthra convinced us to make a part payment of rs. 36172/- through my credit card emi option. To my query as to whether we could avail any holiday without making the full payment, we were categorically informed that we certainly can and mr. Luthra implored us to try their talegaon property so as to satisfy ourselves about their standard and quality.

These were all oral promises which we believed in good faith as it was from the representatives of country club which we believed had some reputation and credibility. When we asked for a copy of the agreement, we were told that we will get it after the completion of some formalities and signature of the company’s authorised signatory. We were also assured that we would get a membership card once we submitted the required documents and we could download the mobile app through which we could access the services. We had no reason to disbelieve as it was from country club.

After making the payment on reaching home, i somehow felt that something was not right and there were many facts which were left unexplained in the presentation and i couldn't sleep that night. I immediately requested mr. Luthra vide my email dated 27th/march, 2017 (Reproduced below) to cancel my membership as i had changed my mind and needed some time to think over. As expected, he expressed his inability quoting the company policy of no refund. I was in total despair.

After some days mr. Amol, called me for the documents so that they could complete the formalities and give us the membership card. I went and gave them everything as requested. When i checked with mr. Luthra about the promised holiday, he once again assured me (Orally) that it can be planned any time on short notice even during peak season and that i could renew the membership after satisfying myself of their services. We once again believed in good faith. Then it so happened that due to health issues, we could not plan any holiday or even get in touch with country club.

About two weeks back i thought of planning a 4 day holiday to celebrate my husband's birthday on the 9th of september. This, i thought would give me an idea of the quality of the country club properties and would help me to make up my mind about the renewal. I first called mr. Amol who told me that he has left the company and directed me to mr. Luthra. I then called mr. Luthra who said he will have to check my status and promised to get back the next day. Over the next week he was on leave for ganapati then he was unwell and then again on leave. So we couldn’t plan any thing. We therefore, approached mrs bhavna for some assistance. Since we could not get access over the phone and was told to message, we thought of visiting the centre for a face to face discussion as time was running out.

We met the lady and gave our request. We also told her about the difficulty with the app which was not opening with the user name and password even when she tried. She promised to check with her back office and revert the next day. Over the past two weeks we have been trying desperately to get the feedback from mrs bhavna, only to be told that there was no availability of rooms in our choice of destination and that we should have given them time and that we have made only a very small part payment etc.. We have received no update about the app password issue and have been told that the agreement copy and membership card will be given only after we make the full payment. I curse myself now for not having taken a picture of the agreement.

I could finally get in touch with mr. Luthra on 1st of september and now he informs me (On the telephone) that since we enrolled as members in march, 2017 and now from july as gst is applicable, all the part payment proposals are now invalid and we have to validate it by making fresh payment. He offered me a 5 year holiday package for a final payment of rs. 60000/- which i could avail by paying only the additional amount after deducting the money already paid to them otherwise my membership will remain invalid till i renew. He also confirmed that i cannot even avail a short holiday which he had earlier promised because of the changed situation. So the net result is that i have lost my rs. 36172/- for no services in return and in the absence of any written document or a membership card and because of the invalidation of the contract and the absence of access to the app because of the unresolved password/username issue, we are in a very vulnerable position as a customer with no where to go.

I must mention here that i fail to understand one thing. How can a customer’s membership be treated as invalid during the validity of the agreement as per the terms which were to be valid for one year after which we had to pay the remaining amount and complete the procedure. The reason accorded for this is gst. I can understand if i am told to pay the difference in taxation after july as the rules have changed but simply invalidating my agreement and telling me to pay up now on a new offer beats my logic. The most important thing is that i have not even been informed by the cc representatives that they are invalidating my membership and that the conditions have changed. It is only when we approached them as innocent customers to plan a holiday that we are informed on the phone about the new developments. How can one change the terms of a contract/agreement during its validity? How legal is the act of invalidating the agreement without the consent of the customer who is a party to the agreement. This cannot be legally tenable. Since no copy of the agreement is given to the customer we can’t be sure about anything. I only hope that no forgery or fraud takes place.

Further, if at all the terms are changed despite enrolling as members on a different set of terms and conditions, shouldn’t i be given an option to cancel the membership and refund made to me as the conditions have not been altered because of me. I have not invalidated the membership. The amount of rs. 36172 /- was paid by me on the agreed condition that i have to pay the remaining amount on the completion of one year at the time of renewal. The reason for not allowing any services till renewal is ridiculous. To me it appears that the company is indirectly forcing the part payment customers to renew or convert the agreement so that they don’t lose the gst in case the customers don’t renew. This is absurd.

I am completely disillusioned as a customer. I am convinced that the act of country club of invalidating my membership during its currency of an agreement and not providing me the agreement copy or membership card as promised and trying to change the terms of the agreement on the pretext of gst applicability is definitely illegal.in the event of any change, the customer should have been given the option to cancel the membership and the money should have been refunded if the customer was not willing to go with the new terms. The straight forward and ethical thing for the company to do was to make an agreement only to the effect of part payment made and make clear cut offers to that effect and include any other fresh terms and conditions at the time of renewal with a fresh renewal agreement taking into account the changed scenario. Trying to convert the agreements to the advantage of the company through dubious means by telling the customer that you either take our offer or your money is gone is plain and simple intimidation. The company's intention seems to be to somehow pull on till the renewal date and then terminate the membership and put the responsibility on me. How unethical, immoral and shameful can this be! And the worst thing is that nothing is given to the customer in writing in case of being a part payment member. I have already written a mail to the country club representative to confirm his telephonic conversation and i am awaiting his reply.

If a company of repute like country club cheats its innocent customers with false promises and unethical practices, it is indeed a very pathetic state of affairs. On a perusal of your site i realised that i am not the only person who has been duped. By talking the vulnerable customer through the most polite manners and not allowing him to even read the terms of the contract and not giving him a copy of it even after promising to do so, the company is displaying the most corrupt practice. Taking the signature of the customer by making false promises and then holding it against him to dupe him is not what one expects from such big companies like country club india.

I hope my grievance does not fall on deaf ears and at least someone higher up in the company's hierarchy takes customer's plight seriously. I therefore request you to cancel my membership and return the money paid by me to the tune of rs. 36172/- and pull up your representatives for tarnishing the image of the company.

I request to consider my request and cancel the contract with immediate effect and grant me the satisfaction of having dealt with a customer friendly organisation.

    Country club durgapur sub branch had invitedus for special offers and tour. Packages. It's head mr. Mahato had promised us for booking of goa resort for the month of december 2016 but at the time appears, he denied totally and also did not provide any facility. Those club memebers fake in nature. At the time of selling the product they shows high value of product, but at the service time usually fake.

      My name is shatabdi gorai. I have paid 26000 rs for the membership in country club on 25th august 2017. When i reached the office after getting their call about winning a free holiday trip they forced us to take the membership for different packages. Even they did not give us the time to read the agreement paper. Though i told them about my physical condition, and also clearly said that in this situation i am not be able to take the advantage of the membership because of my physical condition. Bt they forcefully did the agreement. Now my doctor has prescribe me for bed rest.in such condition i am not be able to take the membership. So i want to cancel the agreement and also want my money back as soon as possible.

        Country club india has worst customer service and cheat company, they will never give booking in there own property and even u have membership always ask to book in advance of 3 -4 month even u have 30 days membership plan. Delhi office ansal plaza branch sold us member ship and ran away after getting money. Never answer calls, no booking, always push for amc while never used there clubs. No refund policy.

          I was offered a voucher by the country club india for food value and 6n/7d holiday package twice. But on trying to avail the offer both the times, it read that voucher has already been used. For the same i tried to complain to their authorities but got no response.
          Also on my second encounter, before issuing the voucher, the company executive was keen to sell out their membership plan with false promises of extra benefits. When i agreed to buy the same, they bought their agreement to be filled which did not mention the extra benefits and their false statements. I understood that they are trying to cheat by false claims and i stepped back and only asked them to hand over the voucher. Upon receiving the voucher i tried to check online whether it worked or not, but it read voucher already booked. I then showed the statement to the executive to which his response was that it will be active from tomorrow. I understood he was lying and checked the voucher again the next day, it showed the same statement "voucher already booked". I tried calling the executives but no response from that end. Lastly i mailed the higher authorities but no response either.
          I checked on the company, to which i came across reviews from people mentioning the same problem.
          I was cheated and my time was wasted, 2 hours on each encounter.

            1. I would like to request for the cancellation of my membership from the country club. I am forced to cancel the membership due to some false promise given by the sales/marketing team manager mr. Sanjib nandi and i am not interested to use any club activities in the future.
            2. In agreement paper, its clearly mentioned that i can cancel my scheme in the cool of period 10 days. I have taken this scheme on 20th august 2017. So, i am putting my papers for cancellation the scheme and i want my full amount (Paid 10, 000 initial amount) to be refunded at the earliest.
            3. Cancellation reasons are given below:-
            A) i have purchased this scheme with 110000 rs and mr. Sanjib nandi told me that this is the highest discount that i have got from the country club but the same scheme was offered to my friend with 70, 000 only. Then how could he charge the more money from us? Why will i pay the extra money? There is no fixed rate in country club membership.
            B) he told me that i can visit baruipur resort anytime with this scheme and i can stay their also in the weekend. There is no charges for this. But whenever i tried to book, from resort they told me that there are additional charges for night staying. If i don’t pay that then it will deduct from my holiday package. Which was not informed me before taking the package.
            C) i planned for the vizak tour in the month of september. I asked them before taking the package that country club has any property in vizak or not? They said yes, they do have. Now, when i tried to book the property i came to know that country club has only associate property in vizak and we need to pay the extra charges for this while i informed before that it will deduct from my holiday package only that’s why i purchased this scheme.
            D) they also informed me, i will get my payment receipt with in next day in my mail from the hyderabad head office but its been 8 days i have not received any mails from them.
            E) initially we have paid 10, 000rs to mr. Sanjib nandi and we can access country clubs membership and holiday package against money receipt copy. Now he told us that, once we get the card only we can access the facilities otherwise we need to pay the extra amount. Which is totally different from his promise before taking the package.
            F) later they have provided the agreement form to sign which i couldn’t read completely as my wife was not feeling well and we wanted to come out of the room as its already 8.30 p. M. Later after reaching home i go through the agreement which doesn’t have anything they offered and some contents are completely opposite. They have told us that this membership can be cancelled but it is given exactly opposite in the agreement.
            4. Now i felt country club is totally a fraud company due to some fraud promise given by your employers and i am really unhappy with your service and i will not suggest anyone to take the membership. If i am not getting my money back with in 10 days than i will take the legal action against the country club and your employee.

            Everytime when m goin to avail ur services, i hear a new condition which was not foretold or mentioned anywhere in the policy.. i hd been harassed evrytime i ask for a booking.. last option i hv is go to consumer court. worthless membership ever

              My name is pankaj kumar an active member of country club. I want to complaint regarding one of your office employee name sakshi working in nehru place branch. She has no manners how to talk to customers. Even though i have spent lacs of ruppess but still every time i am not getting the response from your side. It looks like i have waisted my money there. You are working in a service industry but sakshi has treated herself as boss of me and every time speak in a rude way. Whenever i made a request for booking, she creates problems and provide incorrect information. I request you to fire such kind of employees on immediate basis to maintain the prestige of country club. The incident was happened on 26th sep at 14.30 pm.

              I am extremely hopeful for your help here and need your intervention regarding this matter that I met Puneet and Yogendra for Country Club plan discussion and they have shared below plan with me, during the discussion they have promised me to provide all mentioned holidays and etc but now they have not even responding call.

              I am totally out of patience now to deal with fake promises made by both. I want you to help me getting my refund back to my account else provide me the process for cancellation of this holiday plan with Country Club.

              I would like to bring into your notice that how they are making fake promises to an honest customer and is not bother to submit the documents to account department for registration of my membership.Yesterday only he did after calling him and customer care representative for confirmation.

              I got to know that there is no documents got submitted even they made the whole payment on 15th july 2017 the day when I met and signed up the documents and from that day no welcome kit was sent from your side till yet and now there is no use of it.

              I spoke to Yogendra regarding my refund and he was agreed to transfer it on my account till yesterday evening and now he is not even answering my call, i am afraid if he will ran out of business then who will refund hence i have decided to cancel my membership with you and loudge a FIR under section 420 and fake transactions on my credit card.
              Also a note for Country Club that due to such fake promises made by both the persons only i am willing to quit with Coundryclub.

              Please process it further and let me know that by when i will get my refund of Rs.160200.00 back to my credit card.

                I am swapan kumar porel from kolkata. Last week i got a call from country club that i won a lucky coupon which i dropped in petrol pump and i can collect it from your office in the salt lake city centre mall kolkata. I have got around 10 calls repeatedly and i decided to go there and on reaching, your executives explaining about their holiday package for hours and i refused to take and later they took to another room and started giving many offers and they claimed that i am one of the selected families and they are giving some privileged offers to us which we will not get if we are not taking that day itself etc. I have listed the offers below as a note and it is very attractive but unbelievable, they were pressurizing me to take the decision that point in time by brain washing left and right and it was almost 5pm in the evening and unfortunately i believed on what they said and paid rs[protected]+48500) for the holiday package using my axis bank credit card.

                Later they have provided the agreement form to sign which i couldn’t read completely as my wife was carrying and she wanted to come out of the room. Later after reaching home i go through the agreement which doesn’t fulfill my requirement.

                So i request you to please cancel my membership and refund my amount (Rs 80000) as soon as possible.

                  Hi. My name is rohit jitendra dahyabhai. I have join country club member ship in 2019 navember month. Country club agent say me you got 6 nigjt 7 day complimentary holyday in thailand or malesiya or singapor, r/ 4 night holiday in dubai or 6 night holiday in india and 5500 rs air ticket 2 but surat manegar meet and said countryclub is no skim om this type. My and my frind 60000 inch rs is block.

                    So, my complaint is that money was paid in feb, 2017 & now we are august, more than 6 months have passed. I want my money back.

                    I gone through your entire reply with your perspective!!!

                    But what outcome?

                    You took ₹5000 for a membership at₹72, 000 which was going to be costlier. To block that for 2-3 days (Monday), so if i did not liked after visiting the club, it must have been returned!!!

                    I was not reachable, true but i had mentioned you about my disintrest & like now you had insisted me to reconsider.
                    Then finally a month after i wrote a formal mail for my decesion on which you did not responded, or refunded my ₹5000/-

                    Then, i had called you a month back, when you were on leave and told me that on reaching mumbai, you would settle this.

                    When you did not called, i called you two days back and we discussed for a refund. On which you told me that this money would have gone to bad debt!! Then i explained you the meaning of bad debt!!! Cutting short these discussions we must now be reasonable & honest.

                    So, we must conclude that, country club should refund my ₹ 5000/- which was paid only for a possibility of booking a membership, which i did not liked upon visiting the club, hence money should have been refunded then only.

                    Please, refund the same immediately, without further delay. If you have any problem then please send me your escalation email id, which will be my last request to country club, otherwise will have to look for legal proceeding/ option for the same.

                    I am sure you hold a profile of going for a higher club membership, but trust me all the other clubs offer membership @ 20 laks + which will again be on a too much higher side as far as your limited usage is concerned but having said that trust me the unbeatable amount at which we are giving a membership no one else gives. It would be highly unreasonable to expect a taj @ 500 bucks. But somehow with the services we try to come at those standards. The time at which u had a peek at our club was indeed a rush time so obiviously people were there and why not its saturday evening and i am happy to say our members are enjoying the club facility at the fullest. Regarding swimming pool i am surprised to hear how can you tag a 6 ft deep pool as pool for kids, i am sure "kids" are not 6ft+ tall now a days. The lawn tennis court has been renovated long ago and i have my member's kids who are national level players practice on the same pitch which you consider not so impressive. I wish restaurant and bar facility were detachable, hence the same could be removed and attached back as and when required by you. Half day lawn facility hiring costs minimum 70000 bucks and that too in andheri w and monopoly gives us an opportunity to showcase our food and services and any company would do that since they also want to earn. And why not sir if at all our facility gives you a competitive rate and taste as compared to others in the market, i dont think thats a big deal to fuss about.

                    3-squash and billiards were two facility that we can enjoy, that too very rare. Also, there was no parking facility.

                    You have asked and answered your own question sir, we have the facility it completely depends on you how you use the facility. Parking facility outside the gate is reserved for country club members only. Had it been otherwise you wouldn't have found your car back because if it wasnt legal it would have been towed.

                    Common sir, find me 1 company in the service industry which doesnt have negative feedback, i am sure you wouldnt take the pain of going back and write a beautiful review if we were the best at out services. Because you wouldnt care about the good service but indeed move mountains of writing reviews if faced a silly service lag.
                    Then, i checked with gold & talwalkar gym, they had not confirmed that facility then, but a few days back, when i cross checked again, they said its only members having some gold & silver short of card, are allowed gym facility, that i could not got clarified.
                    I will have to deny this allegation of yours, the entire india knows now that we have tie up with talwalkars and golds and my members are accessing those everyday. If you want you can reevaluate your reliable resources, which unfortunately is based of incomplete and bogus information.

                    Further to the discussion which i had with you at length about how i tried chasing you for a long time just to get a clearer picture but somehow was ignored completely and was reverted back after 1 half month when the procedure got closed long ago. The company kept asking a resolution and i failed because i was never attended by you after that. Still we share a strong bond of salesman and potential client, hence i will still try my best to get this matter resolved but i cant define the timeline for you.
                    In the meantime if you happen to feel like going for the membership, kindly allow me to give you the best price and services from our side.

                      Country club marathahalli property has called aggressively in working hours and mentioned that they are calling from a shopping mall and we r selected in lucky draw coupon for free gifts. Never they mentioned that they are calling from country club.
                      When we went there, they fooled us by compulsory presentation on they holiday package etc, wasting our office time and bound us to pay money for their package.
                      These sort of fraud should be stoped. I want to file complaint against country club for misguide us and waste our time without giving the said gifts.

                      When i am trying to reach them, not picking the call even customer care number and their E mail ID are wrong. Completely useless.
                      This is regarding the cancellation of Country Club Membership(CVHYD6CLUB 3SB191780) bearing the name of SRINIVASA MURTHY OGIRALA.I have already paid and amount of 80, 000/-. I do not want to continue the onward membership.So do terminate my membership. I should not receive any sort of calls and messages in near future.

                        One country club dealer called us, we went there, they have shared half of the information, we have taken the country club plan after signing the form we got to know there are many other charges. And they have given some coupans by saying 3 months validity but all coupans expired within 15 days. And now they are not picking up the calls.

                        It's very disappointing
                        They are spoiling country club name.

                          We were made country club members for a fees of 2, 30, 000 for a 30 year membership across their Primary properties and affiliated properties. It was shown to us during the presentation that all properties and accommodation were 3 - 5 star properties. We made the payment in full and we were given a 5s Iphone with that membership. We booked our first holiday for Agra and we were asked to pay AMC for a year before we can visit it, we paid the dues, however we could not visit Agra and our 2 days/ 3 Nights out of 6 days and 7 Nights was cancelled. We made a subsequent booking for Hyderabad Country Club Kool Begumpet where we visited from 12th August - 15th August 2017. The Hotel has a dummy reception number which is unreachable through outside network, when we reached there at 10:30 P.M there was no room service available. We went to Country Club main property to have Dinner where the property was in pathetic state with torn carpets, very unhygienic condition. We had to ask the Hotel to provide clean Linen, Mosquito repellent, the room had a broken Window and no security lock from Inside. The room also had rats which tore the laptop bag to get some packaged Karachi Biscuits which we procured from Hyderabad. They made after vacation experience of a good city marred by unpleasant incidents. We would like a full refund as we are very scared to visit any of their premises considering the fact that if their prime headquarter location is in such a pathetic state then what would be the fate of their other properties, please let us know how we can get a full refund and compensation on our loss of first visit. Our Room Number was 402.

                            This is a strong feedback to the Country Club team under the incapable leadership of MR. REDDY and also to the company at large, from a thoroughly disappointed and aggrieved customer. They are a mockery to the service and hospitality industry.

                            I have written, emailed, couriered documents, registered complaints to various employees at different levels of Country Club but till date I have not received a single apology or redressal from anyone at CCIL. What kind of an organization is this?

                            To begin with, in Jan 2013 I, won a free stay at one of their resort. As per the sms, I reached Ansal Plaza office to collect this voucher and was asked to attend a presentation of the club to procure the free holiday voucher. I was given a choice then to opt for just the holiday i had won or to become an 'Esteemed' member of one of India’s largest leisure infrastructure conglomerate. I regret that I chose the latter thinking it would be the beginning of a wonderful holiday experience of my life, but it has been by far the most horrendous experience ever.

                            The EMI for membership was to be taken monthly (for 8 months) instead it was taken as a lump sum (Rs.140000/-) payment. Imagine the plight of a salaried Govt. servant having to deal with kind of payment at one go. Umpteen calls only resulted in buck passing between the bank and CCIL sales staff. The payment having processed, I gave up.

                            Thereafter in April 2013, I decided to avail the free voucher, for which I was asked to contact my booking agent Annapoorna. I did so and asked her the process for booking a holiday in May 2013.She took a couple of days to let me know that there was no availability in any of the places I had suggested to her, since it was peak season, and prior bookings were done for the same. I had a white season card and therefore accepted her reasoning. Thereafter I asked her to block my holiday for the month of August 2013.She checked once again and after around 4 or 5 calls(which I made) and five or six mails to her, I finally got a confirmation for that booking in May 2013, nearly 4 weeks later.

                            In May 2013 itself I wrote her another mail to book my membership holiday for 2013 at their Goa resort. The dates being- 26th Dec to 2nd Jan 2014.She took around a week to revert back to me saying that the booking for that holiday period hadn't yet opened and it would open only three months prior. Point noted, I chalked a reminder in my diary

                            On Sept 4th, 2013 I wrote to her once again with the same (Goa) holiday booking. I didn't get any reply for a week. Then after a couple of calls to Gurmeet, (her team leader) and around six seven mails to Anna, another three calls to Anna( since she never was available on phone) I got to know that the bookings for the said period had not yet opened. It was to open on 27th Sept.

                            On 26th Sept, as required, I dropped the mail once again to Anna, hoping for a prompt revert this time. But as always, not a single reply from her for over a week. Disgusted by the CCIL team's callous nature, I asked Gurmeet to assign another booking agent, who would be more prompt. She gave me Pavani's email id and hoping things would now be different, I then forwarded the booking mail to Pavani.

                            I got one mail from Pavani saying that the availability is being checked and then there was no revert from her on that day. The next day I got a mail stating that the CC property was totally booked. I wondered how a property gets fully booked a day before its booking slot actually opens. But then, already frustrated, I asked her to check the associated property Royalle Assagao for the same dates. Numerous calls and umpteen reminder and follow up mails later, I got a one liner from Pavani, stating 'Sorry, no availability for white card holders during this season'. Can you read through the absurdity of this statement? I was aghast!! If this is how you serve your customers, then why would anyone in their sane mind ever think o[censored]pgrading to a gold membership.

                            I refused to take this step-motherly treatment and asked to speak to her senior. Somehow, after a lot of arm-twisting I managed to get the mail forwarded to Mr. Vijender Reddy. He understood the whole matter and within a few minutes, I got a revert from him, that the dates were blocked for us.

                            I thought the battle had ended there but it was just too soon.

                            I got around 4-5 calls from your agents during the period of Oct-Dec to confirm my Goa booking. After confirming to each of them, I assumed all would be fine. As an avid traveller, I know hotel rules of check-in and check-out times and hence one day before travel, ie : on 26th Dec evening, I spoke to one of Royalle Assagao reception staff and informed them, about my arrival by 3.30pm as against their check in time of 2.00pm.They acknowledged and confirmed the same.

                            On 27th Dec 2013, I arrived at Royalle Assagao, Goa with my 6 year old at 3.15pm.I was greeted at the gate by their bell boy and my luggage was neatly stacked in the luggage carrier to be delivered to my room. I was beginning to feel a little pleased when I reached the reception counter with my booking receipt. We were given a glass of juice while waiting for our room key.

                            15 minutes later, the lady at the reception counter, told us that there was no room for us in this hotel now and so we were to go to a Hotel Delta where a room had been arranged for us. I was furious now. How could this happen? I refused to budge and asked to speak to the hotel manager. Another lady (Vinitha) came to the reception and tried convincing us (alongwith the country club co-ordinator) that they had allocated a suite to us but unfortunately that very morning the room had some AC maintenance issues. After driving for over 8 hours (we had left Pune at 5.15am) I could not understand how a service industry staff could be so indifferent towards its customers.

                            I called Gurmeet from the hotel itself and asked her to put me to Mr.Reddy or any higher official of CCIL. Meanwhile the Assgao staff, cooked up another story. They told me, they could give me a room provided I paid Rs.3000/- for their new year party which was compulsory for all residents of the hotel. I asked them, why wasn't I informed about the party earlier in the repeated confirmation calls from CCIL and even when I called the hotel on 26th Dec 2013.They had just one reply. .."It is compulsory Sir".

                            By then Gurmeet passed on the contact details of Mr.Mohan and Mr.V Reddy.I went to the reception counter and told them that I would create a scene there if they didn't give me the room key immediately. My daughter was thoroughly exhausted after the long journey and all they could possibly see was how to get us out of our pre-booked room in this peak holiday season.

                            Finally at around 4.00pm, we walked into our room (C-302) which had a double bed. As per our contract we were entitled to 3 people occupancy in our membership holiday. So I was puzzled as to why the additional room in the suite was locked. I called Mr.Mohan and rattled out the entire ridiculous situation that I was facing after having taken a CCIL membership. Luckily, for me, he seemed to care and asked me to enjoy my holiday there and leave the rest to him.

                            It was about 4.30pm when my daughter lay her head to rest on the bed and I wondered whether this was a kind of vacation I would have each time I used my 'Esteemed' CCIL membership.

                            Thankfully(at least there was someone) and true to his word, Mr.Mohan called me to confirm that things had been sorted with Mr.Rohan the hotel manager and there would not be any issues regarding our stay at Hotel Royalle Assagoa.He asked me to contact himself or Mr.Rohan if any issues arose thereafter.

                            At 5.30pm I called for room service and was billed (as against the CC member discount) for the same as per the hotel menu. Too exhausted after the long ordeal i just let things go.

                            Thereafter, at 8.00pm i called the reception to check about the bed for my child. Luckily, without any arguments there, someone was sent with the key to the extra room.

                            The next day at the buffet breakfast, when I told the manager that we were CC members. He said that C-302 shows a travel agent's name as per their current records and hence the billing was as per that. We asked him to clarify the same with the reception and only then were we given our 25% discount on food. I don't think the record was changed in the hotel system even till the day we left the hotel. With each meal we ordered we had to specifically mention the CC membership.

                            During our stay(27th Dec 2013-03rd Jan 2014) nobody visited us, neither the club co-ordinator nor Mr.Rohan. But since things went on smooth after speaking to Mr.Mohan, I had no qualms about that.

                            On 2nd Jan 2014 at around 4.00pm I got a call once again from Vijetha (reception staff) telling me that they wanted to shift us out of C-302 on account of AC maintenance work. I categorically told her that I would be vacating the room on 03rd Jan 2014 at 12pm so they were free to do the maintenance work thereafter. A few minutes of thought made her probably realize that I was clear on my stand and so she agreed.I left Royalle Assgao, with the worst hotel experience I have ever had till date.

                            Second holiday, Wingait Inn, Shimla- Once again a room which was smaller than promised and another associate property so I had to bear the food expenses.

                            Third Holiday, UNA Nandini-Dharamshala- Another room which was as small as the cow shed and at the top most floor. Which was very cumbersome because with a small kid, one would prefer a room nearer to the ground. After a whole lot of haggling with the staff on day two, we got shifted to the second floor but the room was shabby. Peeling plaster on walls, dirty floors, bathroom flush was not working and the whole room was like living in a 2 star hotel. Extremely disappointing experience once again.

                            Finally, frustrated with such horrifying and traumatic encounters, we decided to utilize the facilities of CCIL's '5-star' holiday hotel, Amrutha Castle, Hyderabad. Hoping this would chane our outlook towards the Company's properties. It is supposedly a high class hotel(as was told to us at the time of taking the membership) but once again, it fell short of our expectations. We were at first given a room which had urine stench so strong that we felt we were inside a urinal. After refusing to take that room they allotted another room overlooking the garbage disposal unit of the hotel. The bedcovers had stains and hair all over it. The bath tub had black greasy marks inside it.
                            They told us this was their last vacant room and hence we had to take it. We reluctantly kept our luggage there but decided to check out other hotels.
                            My daughter wept her heart out while entering the dirtiest bathroom she had been to till date. It was frustrating to have to deal with this on a so called luxury holiday. Even the food (buffet) was oily, inspid, flavourless and cold.
                            I can honestly say and proclaim to the world at large that CCIL and its employees are nothing but a bunch of daylight sophisticated robbers, who dupe naïve common man and fill their pockets.

                            Mr. Reddy is the least customer centric business man else he would have taken up a countless mails and complaints (couriered) to his office. All he is interested is to take photos with celebrities and ensure he is a page three arm candy. Sad to say Mr. Reddy, you and your staff at CCIL are a disgrace to the Indian hospitality industry. Its been 2 years since I have paid up my annual membership money, but I have not heard from a single employee of the organization. Their so called, redressal head, legal head (Ms. Kavitha) are all aware and updated on this cased but according to them, the client is just their money bag to riches.

                            I regretted having become a CCIL member too. My feedback form at all the hotel too states the same.I am a voracious traveler and have travelled to many places, within India and even abroad. I have stayed at reputed hotels like ITC, Radission, Trident, Taj, but I have never come across such indifferent, discourteous staff and such a detestable service and hotel ambience. I have yet to understand how CCIL claim's to be the leading company in the leisure and travel industry. After going through this ordeal with them I have found many more such disgruntled clients of CCIL. I hope they can be booked for making false promises to clients and delivering the worst kind of service to their members.

                            The only consistent and aggressive part of CCIL, according to me are their sales staff, who make calls more than regularly asking me to upgrade my membership and to avail the other benefits of CCIL at a nominal fee(buy real estate). Sadly, their aggressiveness is not at all matched by the service and hospitality staff of Country Club and neither by their CEO, Mr. Reddy.

                            I would also like Ms. Sania Mirza( who is the official brand ambassador) of country club to check the authenticity and integrity of the Company that she has associated her name with. Truly painful to see her image being tarnished by a man who has no idea of how to run a service and hospitality company.

                            After all, in today's tech savvy and social networking hyped era these things all add up to the face of your organization for your 'Esteemed' customers and also to your potential clients. So Mr. Reddy how do you want CCIL to be perceived ?

                            I hope registering my complaint on this site helps me get a redressal and also prevents other gullible people from falling into the trap of Country Club India.

                              Dear countryclub authorities,

                              I have been under discussion since 2010 for my membership fee correction, which has been cheated by manish dutta (Country club representative). My membership number is cc01delkoolg30l128.
                              1. Previously i had super cool membership, for that i had paid rs. 2.70 lakh
                              2. After their executive suggestion, i had upgraded to cool global dubai with additional payment rs. 80, 000.
                              3. I have 4 allotment letter, but no plot provided to me.
                              4. They promised plots are near bangalore, but those plots are in rural area under hills of andhra pradesh (Where no value of such plots).
                              5. They promised the 4 two-way air tickets, but not provided.
                              6. They promised 6n-7d abroad trip, but not provided.
                              7. Many more facilities like gym, spa, free gifts. None is provided.

                              I have been sending mails to so many peoples since 2010 to resolve this issue. But now they are asking me rs. 65000+ for remaining as membership fee and 75000+ as amc, which none of the facility i have used.

                              Even after sending lots of mail in chain and separate with all the details along with attachments. No proceeding of my case.

                              They took 3.50 lakhs from me, and i an helpless. Please do help me to resolve this issue.

Avishek complaints that he has transfered his membership from bangalore (Coolsbt123) to delhi (Cc01delkoolg30l128) and member had taken the plot in bangalore but he didn't received any plot details and the papers.

                              I have signed the agreement for 3, 50, 00. If you check the agreement copy. You can see it clearly.
                              Next there was 4 allotment letters given for the plots and now you are telling i am eligible only for 2 plots.

                              Still i did not get the cards. Why??

                              I need clear specification on this, in details.
                              Else tell me the other way. How can i get all the things clear.

                              If not possible by you, include your manager/sr. Manager, or higher peoples also.

                              Another point, If I could have opened an FD of 3.50 Lakh INR. In last 10 years the amount would simply double (~7.00 Lakh).
                              With this harassment done on my by CCIL(and their team/employee). I would like the refund of my principle along with the interest. The complete amount must be provided to me in this case for closure.

                              Even the consumer complain forum is not doing anything with such a fraud company. It seems they all are running a worse joint venture to make fraud.

                                  Dear complaint resolver

                                  I am writing this complaint to express my sheer annoyance and want to draw your attention to dishonesty and cheating committed by your manager mr raman thakur (To manager). My registration number is ccdl10club26989.

                                  On 23rd april 2017, after insisting and luring us to show the benefits of the membership, he called me and my wife at his office (Eros residency, charm wood village, suraj kund road, faridabad) at 6 pm by promoting the last day of excited offer. I was elated when i came to know the offer that include 3 nights and 4 days sojourn with food, sight seeing arrangements including air fare in rs 25000/-. Also, to mention that he sold me the package by saying that first experience the services in rs 25000 and then go for the annual package if you admire the services. I was oblivious to the fact that my happiness would be short lived, and i ran into disaster. I was stunned by seeing the facilities on the web which were not even halved what was promised (Air fare, food and sight seeing not mentioned on web). I smelled a rat and quickly investigated the matter by dealing the office number where i had a word with mr raman's senior officials (Mr puneet), i explained him everything, constituting an affirmative misrepresentation. Considering a total betrayal of trust and fraud, i demand a full refund of payments plus other expenses related to inconveniences.

                                  I also suspect that this is not an isolated act of fraud. This auto fraud will be made public. This can lead to a class action lawsuit if other plaintiffs come forward. Ergo, i will appreciate you if you could have taken an action about the inconvenience. I think he should be reprimanded so that he should learn the lesson

                                  I hope this problem will resolve promptly, waiting for your kind revert.

                                  I have also been cheated by Raman Thakur. We went to their club for some since they call us that you have been selected for free Diwali celebrations voucher and the celebrity will perform. After reaching there, they offered us a membership program for 10 years that was cost around 65000. But I have rejected it and give the feedback that I don't want it for too long time and I need to first try it so Raman Thakur forced me to take 5 years membership and give an option for emi conversion of 35000 for 5 years membership. He also told me that the membership also contains Gold gym for 1 year and other things. But when I followed him for the gym membership, he told me that the contract with Gold gym is expired and we will renew it and till date it is not.

                                  Another shock, when I got a email from the country club that your 33000 something amount is pending and you need to pay it within a month or else your membership will cancelled. I quickly called the customer care and found that there is no membership plan for 10 years, the membership plan is only for 5 years and the cost is 65000 and you need to pay the rest of amount.

                                  He cheated me and when I called him about these things then he told me that "Sir, app kyu preshaan ho rhe ho, aap jao na 5 saal tak kahi bhi, m apka krata hu na holiday". But at last nothing, I am still paying the emi for no value.

                                    Me and my husband payed money to country club for some vacation management facilitiea and gym facilities.

                                    Later we realised, there were no proper gym infrastructure and no proper tourism infrastructure.

                                    We called them and asked to close our memberahip within 1 week. And never receive any service from their end.

                                    Its almost 2 years. Still sms and calls are coming from their end.

                                    No proper contact number or mail address from their side.

                                        On 25th of july, 2017 morning i received a call from country club india, asking for a presentation appointment stating to be a company providing membership for planning vacations within india and abroad. Being a working employee, i agreed to meet up on a coming weekend, but it was stated to me that the presentation will take only 45-50 mins and we can opt out if we dont find it as per our requirements.

                                        So country club representative named 'bhavik boricha' came at my home in mumbai suburbs area (Kalyan), at 9 pm on 25th july, 2017 and contrary to the statement of lady on call that he would take 45 minutes, he took our 4 hours. He stayed at our home up-till 1 am. At around 10.45 pm, after his presentation, we insisted that he should go now because its too late and we need time to think. Even after asking 3-4 times to leave, he just did not budge. He trapped us with all the lucrative offers which as per his statements like "the offer is available for 1st 25 families as country club have completed 25 years, benefits include stay for 30 years with clubbing benefit, gym, banquets hall facility" and he went on and forced us with many many more lucrative offers to take the membership by telling us only the good points and didn't mention of any negative points of country club holidays. So we paid 40, 172 rs to him at late night around 12.30 am based on the misrepresentation of only good points.

                                        After then we started our research only to find out that country club is one of the biggest fraud in india. Icici bank has even banned all payments gateways for country club owing to large number of customers complains. They have resorts which are too far from main locations and their resorts are not too good, with average per day cost of around 2000 to 2500 rs range, but during presentation the representative claimed that resorts are 4-5 star kind of resorts and at most easily accessible locations, which turned out to be false as none of their resort is even close to being a 5 star and are far off located at most un-convenient location in indian and abroad.

                                        Hence, after knowing all the wrong doing and misrepresentation of country club and the poor service feedback of country club, we asked to cancel the membership and for a refund on their official e-mail id ([protected]@countryclubmail.com) for customer queries (On 1st aug 2017). Its been 8 days now that i have put forth mail for refund, but i haven't heard back from them as of now (I'm sharing e-mail screen shot as proof & reference).

                                        As, i have not used any of country club's services, yet the country club representative say that they don't have policy of giving refund when customer does not wants services within 10 days of sign up and have not used their any of the services, which is illegal as per indian laws. The payment was made owing to the good points they presented and the negative points were completely hidden from us. Even after multiple follow-ups with the representative and the company, there is no response.

                                        "no company can keep the money if the customer feels that they have been cheated by wrong lucarative information and has not even used its service, as per indian laws", so the same applies to country club india.

                                        Here are the following important details necessary for taking our matter ahead with country club,

                                        I request complain board to look into this matter, to take a strict legal action against country club and help us get back our hard earned money from this fraud company.

                                        They themselves never ever called us or even took our complaint.. Hence we took a stronger stance for fighting against them, we regularly followed up with them for almost 4-5 months, also we followed with them not only on call but also on emails, we constantly mailed to all the senior authorities of country club, they finally budged and bowed to give back our amount back.

                                        Hi Its been more than 40 days now, since i have put up above complain, but country club have not yet contacted me back for cancellation & refund, nor are they taking up any calls or replying to any messages. Please look into the matter. Every day thousands of people are getting cheated by country club, please help us and give notice to country club against there false promises to avoid more people getting trapped and help us to get back our hard earned money.

                                        We are waiting for country club reply since last 50 days, but so far we have not received any communication from there end, even after multiple reminder, Please intervene and help us in our refund process, as this is unethical behavior of country club towards thousands of people who have become their victims, who have paid their hard earned money and needs to be curbed by law.
