Incident Date: 3rd FEB 2016, 12.00 Noon.
Place: Country vacations, Begumpet, Hyderabad.
My Husband Laxman Reddy received a call from one Mr. Ravi, who informed that we have won a lucky draw & asked to collect the free gift. He asked to come along with family & stated that it is compulsory to attend with family. Post denial from our end he started convincing that it is genuine & they do not take any money or anything for that & asked to come to Lifestyle building in Begumpet. Did not reveal the name of Country Club at all on the call, asked to come near life style building on 3rd FEB at 12.00 Noon & give a call.
On 3rd FEB morning another lady gave a reminder call & said we need to come compulsorily or else our gift will be cancelled. Once we reached Lifestyle building on 3rd FEB at 12.00 Noon. They asked to walk into Country vacations building. In the second floor they told we need to attend one hour presentation only if we attend it we will get our gifts.
We were escorted into a Hall by Manager Shaik Rabbani (who is been working there since 8 years). Later one executive named Madhu attended us & started explaining about the gifts we won. (1 Kitchen set+ 1 day free entry into Country club at any one of the three offered locations only + one gift voucher for 7 nights & 6 days stay within India which is to be availed within 8 months)
Later Madhu stated that he wanted to take a survey about our lifestyle. We agrred & he enquired about our residence, professions, our home town, interests, hobbies. In the end asked about the places we visited & we wish to visit in near future. The survey got completed.
After that Madhu started explaining that they have taken a lucky draw & selected 106 members for a special promotional offer in the event of completion of 25 years of Country Club. He started explaining about the offer which goes like this.
The Offer has 3 parts : Lifetime country club membership+ Lifetime Death/Accidental insurance worth 6 lakhs + 1 plot of 150 SQ yards
Lifetime club membership benefits which Madhu the executive has explained:
1.30 years of Gold CARD membership with 30 weeks of vacation ( 1 vacation per year/ 7 Nights & 6 days).
2. The vacation can be availed by paying Rupees 5000/- & if we do not avail the vacation we need not pay that 5000 rupees.
3. The vacation of one year automatically gets carry forwarded to another year if we do not utilise.
4. The vacation can be gifted to friends, family etc if we do not use them.
5. The lifetime membership is applicable to children as well & can be carry forwarded to next generations.
6. They have a tie up with DAE for international travel & has access to 90 to 100 countries for planning vacations & holidays.
7. If we avail the vacation we will be given 3 star to 5 star accommodation.(travel charges to be borne by us)
8. Free pickup & drop facility from airport/train, free sightseeing as it is included in accommodation package itself. Sight-seeing in Bus, if personal vehicle is given diesel charges to be borne.
9. Free Laundry/Kitchen/Cook/ Childcare.
10. The Country club facilities like GYM/ Swimming pool etc can be utilised free of cost.No charges. The banquet halls can be utilised 6 times in a year free of cost which out paying anything. Decoration & food charges are applicable.20% discount on food will be provided.
11. Free summer camps for the kids above the age of 5 years.
12. Lifetime access to any events organised by Country vacations & Country club like new year event/ Christmas event etc.
Life Insurance (Accidental/Death coverage)
1. The insurance is provided by HDFC Bank which is worth Six Lakh Rupees. (6, 00, 000 Rupees).
2. It is split amongst the Husband & wife.
3. In the 6 lakhs which they mentioned one lakh is the medical insurance in case of any accident. The husband gets a limit of 50000 & wife gets a limit of 50000 towards treatment.
4. The rest 5 lakhs is death coverage again split as 2.5 each between husband and wife
5. I enquired about insurance cards or forms, Rabbani said No insurance cards will be provided. In case of incident we need to contact only Country Club. They will get in touch with HDFC & get the formalities done for us.
150 SQ Yards of Plot:
1. Promised 150 SQ Yards of Plot in any one of the two ventures Near Aler, Warangal Dist/ Sundervanam Ventures near Maal, Nalgonda Dist.
2. In order to register the plot we need to pay an amount of rupees 50000(fifty Thousand) which includes registration charges, Water & Current facility, etc.
3. In the future we can sell the plot to anyone if we do not wish to keep it.
4. They will arrange sightseeing to the venture in a personal vehicle.
5. Rabbani the manager told that CV ventures are very huge in number & from them only 106 have been allotted for the promotional offer & we are the luckiest to receive the offer
An amount of 2, 28, 000/- has been quoted by Rabbani for this promotional offer +50000 registration for the plot.
Then the account Manager pitched in to negotiate the deal for us.
The account manager said on onetime payment a discount will be provided & finally agreed with 1, 65, 000/- +50000 registration charges.
The account manager also stated that he will convert the onetime payment into EMI option. He said he will send credit card company member to our house & get a credit card for us. Once we receive the credit card. He will swipe the credit card & return the amount that we pay. We need to pay in EMI’s to the credit card company.
I enquired about the bonds/documents/ land survey numbers etc. He said upon payment we will receive everything & they will provide all proper documents before leaving.
We paid 1, 00, 000 via debit card & 40000 cash. Gave a cheque for 25000.
They offered a complimentary gift also, 3 gms gold coin + 3000 rupees meal vouchers.
I was supposed to receive a verification call. Once I received the call. Rabbani asked me to hand over the phone call to an executive to complete membership formalities.
Later they hurried us to sign the documents & said whatever is promised is there in the documents. We both signed & later the initial gifts for which we were called there were handed over to us.
I enquired about membership cards/ travel related terms & conditions which they promised etc. They said we will receive everything to our house address including the complimentary gift vouchers.
We went home & to our surprise find all discrepancies. What they stated never matched with what was there in the documents.
What we got:
1. Gymkhana membership instead of gold card membership
2. 3 nights/ 2 days stay in studio apartment instead of 7 nights/ 6 days stay in 3 star or 5 star accommodation.
3. Compulsory payment of AMC charges even if we do not utilise the 1 week vacation per year.
4. No mention about the carry forwards/ transfers which they stated.
5. No mention about any other promises
6. 90 days of time to make plot registration after payment of registration charges.
7. One thing was mentioned that Country club is not responsible for the false promises made by sales executives or staff
All in all which means it’s a planned plot to trap innocents & take money & make filthy promises.
They are doing this since past few years. I spoke with victims who were duped by them 5 years ago & as well as 5 days ago in similar fashion.
There’s nothing like lucky draw or so, everyone is called & trapped. They just made a way to sell their plots.
Now I demand cancellation of my membership & immediate refund of all the money which I paid.

    I was made a Country Club Member in Kolkata by paying Rs25, 000/- with Club membership in Baraipur & Gym Facilities elsewhere in the City. We were given a temporary card for me, wife and 2 children aged 21 and 13 years.
    The original card was sent in September, 2015 of mine & wife. They say that the elder son is now above 25 years so he cannot be entertained as member. The younger son's documents are not available with them so they will not issue card.
    Now they have been sending emails asking me to pay some Rs8300/- for AMC Charges for all these years. They staff at their local Kolata office says that we have to pay and upgrade to new membership then only we will be offered services.

      Dear Sir/ Madam,

      I am feeling highly disappointed to share the following with you:
      1.
      I was been informed that on subscribing to the life long vacation charges, I will be eligible for a free return ticket. Till now I have not received the same.

      2.
      I was been informed that on referral, I will be entitled for a gold coin. I gave one referral but did not receive any gold coin till now.

      3.
      I paid an AMC of 3 years for 2014-17, by paying an advance amount of Rs. 10000 on 7th October, 2013. However, last year when I was trying to book my holidays for Dubai/Bangkok, I was informed that my AMC is pending. While I was trying to prove that I had paid for upto 2017, my both holidays expired and then while 2015 AMC was updated in the system, I was informed that my holidays have expired. This year again, while I have booked the holidays through DAE for Dubai, I am getting the communication that I have not paid the AMC for 2016.


      I am getting largely harassed and in such an event of not being able to utilize the benefits that you are mentioning with Country Vacations, I will be forced to knock consumer court for not getting the assured benefits.

      Requesting for your kind intervention to settle this issue asap and avoid any further harassment to me.

        I was cheated by Country Vacation Club(CV) company on 29-Jan-2016 and paid them of Rs 4, 00, 000/- with my Citibank credit card.

        Detailed Description of the incident:-
        I received a call from ---- and conveyed that your coupon no (..) has selected for a free gift, to avail that free gift you need to come your your wife and attend 1 hr presentation at 1st floor, NSL BRAND FACTORY MALL, near Forum Sujana mall, KPHB, Hyderabad.

        So I went along with my family(wife and 2 little children) to given address to collect the gift. CV sales executive explained membership details/benefits in white pager. I paid Rs 4, 00, 000/- for CV life time membership, 2 plots (150 s.yd + 150 s.yd) at "CV Sagar Sundervan Extension venture" in Yadagirigutta.

        Reason for cancellation of CV membership and refund amount:-
        After reaching home we have reviewed the agreement details and released that we were cheated by this fraud Country Vacation Club company. As there is "COMPLETE" discrepancy between 'the details/benefits specified in Agreement' and 'whatever explained by the sales executive at the KPHB branch office'.

        With in 12 hrs from the membership taken, I sent email to [protected]@countryvacationsmail.com (email Id given in the membership agreement)and requested for my membership cancelation & full amount refund. However I did not hear any appropriate response from CV.

        I never used/dont want CV membership or their products. So I want my membership cancelled and refund Rs 4, 00, 000/- (amount I paid ) immediately.

        Please help me as well as many other victims who have been cheating by this fraud CV company from decades.

          Paid membership fees for a year in a moth they closed down and even before they closed they took new membership and one fine day closed it without informing members. I visited the Andheri office and the Manager Rakes Kumar assured that the cSh would be refunded. It has been two weeks and now he is evading my calls. the whole organization is corrupt and rouges. I would like to know what the consumer court is doing when are flooded with complaints on Country Club. This is treated as a joke while poor customers suffer.

            I am too much depressed as representatives of country club use to misguided and cheated we people very badly.They use to commit any things whatever you like during taking their scheme, but they never promises their commitments...
            its my best advise to you all please do not take any scheme or plan offers by country club ...
            you will loose a very handsome amount,
            i complaint in customer care also they also helpless to rectify the things...I
            ts my humble request you all Please avoid country club..its total forgery...
            i have given my case to customer care dated 8 sept 2015 and informed about commitments, they also assured me for provide the commitments...but count help despite of commitment.
            i have provided many proofs also in terms of whatsapp screen shot, mails and many audio recording too.
            but county club has been decided to cheat their customers any how.

            above message is just advertisement only by the company not any solution and after complaint here i received a call immediately after 2 hrs from country club they threat me like anything with lots of dirty words

              I have taken membership from County Club enforce by sales person. After few days i have realized that I have been cheated with country club. Because they giving fraud promises. Now i don't need membership.

              I have paid Rs 165000/-, Now i want my money back. I don't need any holidays/Gifts.

              If you need membership details i will provide. So plz help me.

                I have taken Life membership in Jaipur city. Country club has close the club house from Jaipur. Now there is no club in Jaipur city. I have not use any type of facility or service from Country club till time.

                Hence I want my paid fee refund but there is not action taken by them.

                I have taken membership for Indore club from sept 2013, from last 18 month I have not find any facilities in club which is committed to us at the time of taking membership.

                After waiting so long 18 months no facilities of your club at Indore hence I give request to give my money refund. Now there is no club in Indore, also you have committed at the time of taking membership You said that this membership is for 2 adults and 2 child, also said that if you have only one child then you can avail holiday if he is above 12 years, but when we use holiday you have charged separately for my child of above 12 years as extra person, I am feeling cheated.

                      Dear sir I dr gopi shivhare cheated by country club hyderabad in gwalior m.p. Mr Manav and Mr chaudhary promised to me 4 returns tickets of dubai holidays along with the 6 night 7 days stay in dubai when we take a membership of the day but after receiving money one lakh rupees they don't pick up the phone and refused to give me tickets and gifts. Please sir help me either they fullfil there promises or returns my deposit back.

                        Deshmukh from country club undri, Pune, call us & informed that to attain programme for one hr & we will issue you gift voucher, food voucher as well as free cinema movie . But Mr.Sunny from Koregan Park, Pune, will not issue any coupons. On 19 Dec we attained same programme & that funny guy says that we will send coupon within 15 days. Now they people not answer our phone. Is it your service ?
                        service is not good & make us fraud.

                          We are well aware that you have resorts.
                          I did not agree to take membership only based on resorts.
                          I was given lots of commitments like 40% discount on flight fare, any time resort bookings, VIP preference in resorts & many support for Trip.
                          Your sales team mentioned, you will be like Guardian thru out the Trip.

                          All are Contradict in reality. You will provide only rooms 12:00 noon to 12:00 noon, that too in advance.
                          "No other service I am given".

                          This is not user friendly & My family don't feel secured with country club any more.
                          --> You have more than 30000 members, i dont know how many are happy.
                          But I am not happy for sure. Kindly allow me to quit country club & inform necessary steps for refund.

                            Dear Sir... I was given CC vacations membership presentation on 6th of December 2015 at CC Thane Branch, Khopat. I was promised below... - 6 N 7 D Free Accomodation Vacation package per year - FREE PACKAGE 6N 7D WITH AIR-FARE, FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION. TRAVEL DATE BETWEEN 26TH DECEMBER TO 3RD JAN. I was told the return air-fare was bit difficult due to year end rush and I agreed to it and also said I would pay 50% of the ticket charges. Also 6N 7D package was cut down to 4N 5D and the rest 2 N 3D was promised later with air-fare (one side). I have written commitment on this from the sales representative. - 24 SPA PACKAGES. Based on the above promises/commitment I paid 180K via Credit Card. 2 days passed no one called and when I called the sales representative he said that he is not able to book air-fare as the cost was more than Rs.5300. This came as an surprise to me as this clause wasnt told to me before making the transaction. Even while signing the agreement I told them that I havent read anything in this and they said its just formality and need not to worry. If this clause was so crucial then I should have been briefed about it before doing the transaction and while signing the agreement they should have shown the clause. Even after paying 180K how can you expect me to fund my travelling. And If I dont get air tickets how can I travel to my vacation destination??? Secondly I was told that there would be no Interest charges on the CC transaction, any normal person would think that he will not have to pay the Interest rate. Later I cam to know that the Interest amount would be adjusted in other ways, like waive of AMC charges etc. My December vacation plans for which I took this membership is now next to impossible and it makes me feel I was cheated. I was made false promises. Hence request you to please CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP AND RETURN BACK MY HARD EARNED MONEY. YOU CAN HOWEVER DEDUCT ANY ADMIN CHARGES THAT MIGHT HAVE INCURRED. Regards Ajay Mohad

                              I used to go to Phoenix market city Kurla branch country club gym. Suddenly without prior intimation, they changed the location to R City mall. None of their phone numbers work. It's completely a fake company. I want my money back or else face the consumer court case. I don't want to go to new address which is very far off from my residence.

                              They have duped me of 15k rupees and their sales guy wanted 50k more. They r cheaters and should be sent behind bars.
                              these company persons have stereo type answers to every complaint, you can say in each case. they are experienced persons in cheating people.

                              You are disrespectful to your customers' complaints. Unfortunately, you have not verified the facts with your centre in Kurla. You can check the legitimacy and validity of my complaint and then you would know, in the name of ethical practices, you are cheating honest customers. I have not your enemy or have time to waste to just pick you and defame you. Please be sure that if you do not provide what you promised, then you have cheated and the words fraudsters etc. is apt in your case. You manager at R City Ghatkopar is clueless about Kurla centre closure and customers are running from one location to the other. I feel cheated and perhaps feel that media is the only way to expose your unfair means and practices of doing unethical businesses. I want my money back or else, I will take this to every other location, where all people who have faced such situations will jointly work towards exposing one of the biggest scams of the country. I have all the proofs as well as other friends of mine who has been cheated by you. Your sensible response is awaited.

                                We were promised of many offers before getting the menmbership which are below :
                                1.When we book for a lodging, there will be Free pick and drop facility from the Airport to the country club property : When called the customer care they said these services are not under the agreement and they are paid services.
                                2.When we book for a loding with country club(CC), there will be free cab provided by the CC for visitng the places : When called the customer care they said these services are not under the agreement and they are paid services.
                                3.Informed me there will 40% discount on booking the flights :When called customer care, they informed there is no such offers provided by the country club.
                                4.When paid through EMI option through credit card, the advisor informed it will be 0% interest. Whatever the credit card interest is calculated. It will be refunded, after following with the same advisor advisor multiple times there was a rude response saying there will be no refund.

                                These are few offers which are mentioined, but there are many other offers which are promised before getting the membership. I wanted to cancel or sale the membership, paid Rs.54000 to become a member. Please refund my money or provide me the details when I can claim my money back.

                                Am raising this complaint again, I have been getting calls from country club for AMC charges payment. Requested for cancellation of this agreement long time back, I did not see any response from country club. Now they are asking me to pay cancellation charges for canvelling the agreement. Didnot use any of there facilities these 2 yrs. As per there agreement if we do not use there services they will not charge any AMC. Am not going to pay anything for cancellation. when i have taken this agreement i was informed there will be no cancellation charges, when i cancel this agreement i will be refunded my money Rs.54000 that is membership charges. Now I know i lost my money, I wanted to cancel this agreement. Am not going to pay any of your AMC's, cancellation charges. If you force me to pay all these will take this forward consumer court. As I already see there are lot of people already complained against country club for money refund and cancellations.

                                  Dear Concern This is to bring to your notice that country club Chandigarh is giving worst services ever experienced, despite being lifetime member having paid a hefty amount I have never ever got positive response for any of my required booking dates. I asked for booking at Jaipur for 23rd to 27th dec, 15 I was told Jaipur bookings are full till 7th Jan, 2016 and was asked to go for it after 7th jan, 16. When on 1st jan, 2016 I asked for booking for Jaipur from 23/01/16 till 25/01/2016 I was again told Bookings are full from 15/01/2016 till mid Feb. Same has happened in past as well, I have never got the bookings for the dates I asked for and have been always asked to go for alternate dates . I haven't paid such hefty amount on lifetime membership for this kind of service, instead I would have earned interest on that amount and would have spent that amount on my vacations by bookings through local travel agents who give far better services than THE COUNTRY CLUB. I gave your reference to so many people expecting good services but I think it was huge mistake I made. I would like to cancel my membership and need refund of my entire amount with full interest . Hoping for a quick revert on this.

                                      I was told that we had won a special (couple) gift which was held at big bazaar or some mall and called to country vacation office where we were promised that we will get country club membership 85k worth at 66k for 1shot payment, some special offer by person named Shiv Tejas. I paid the entire amout 66k in month of September till now there is no response from Shiv Tejas or other staff. I have downloaded the app in which the detail payment shows that there is still 19k balance.. i dint recieve the membership card or reciepts inspite of repeated calls Shiv Tejas never answers ... I suggest that please beware of such people in malls they call you saying that you're a winners of some contest its a huge scam...

                                        I member of Country Club membership no (​CCDL10CLUB30LB22376) member name BHAWNA KAUSHIK . I paid 175000 + 9073 (AMC Payment) rupees for 30 year plan. They are every time asking annual fee and to go vacation also they are asking free for booking. I have booked 2 rooms for 4 adults for Manali but they are giving us only 1 room but when we paid AMC for 4 person then why would we take only 1 room. Now i don't want anything and i have never used their services so please return my money i have all proofs and cards they have given. Thanks Vijay Kaushik [protected]
