Hi
I have bought an inverter split ac of brand DAIKIN with capacity of 1.5 ton on 14th January 2020 from lulu connect, kochi. After usage of 8 months (approx) it stopped working. Due to time constraint and quarantine zoned I lodge a complaint on 4th of October and two people came from authorised service centre on 9th of October. They checked the AC and told me that external unit of AC is not working and one PCB need to be changed. They told me that they will replace this PCB tomorrow 10th of October. Even two or three days after no one came not any communication held regarding the same. Then I called the dealer that this ac is under warranty and I need replacement. They told me to send the mail so that they can escalate the situation with DAIKIN. They have sent few mails citing that due to external factor it could happen. Then I have asked for either replacement or the change of spare with assurance of an avg life of DAIKIN ac which they claim of 7 years.
I am sending the gentlemen mail ids who have communicated with me through mail but none of them admitted the problem of ac and keep blaming the external factors.

Last communication was on 21st October with the above mentioned gentleman at sl no 2 in which I have repeated my demand as a consumer but not any word from the DAIKIN thereafter.
I have invested my hard money in this product for peace of mind but their responses and excuses made my nights full of nightmares. They keep saying that our product goes through 100% quality check and avg life of a DAIKIN ac is 7 years. Is that so then why did my ac couldn’t work for more than 8 months.
They never replied this question.
The dealer has said no to replacement and DAIKIN has told me that the spare wouldn’t be replaced with assurance and even adopted an adamant attitude.
Now you are the only one who I can ask for the intervention and do the justice to a consumer who is feeling cheated after investing an amount of 43, 900/-
Kindly help at the earliest.

I have got a call from DAIKIN and they keep saying that they will replace the PCB and not ready to either give assurance on the same or some sort of compensation.
Kindly intervene.

    I had purchased 2 Daikin Inverter Air Conditioners 1 Ton Model No: FTKF35SRV16. Now only after 2 years, both the Air conditioners are malfunctioning. I have already serviced and repaired one of the ACs for which I had to replace the outdoor unit PCB and refill the gas, total cost for which was around Rs. 11, 000. Now the 2nd AC cooling is also ineffective andI am afraid I will have to carry out the same repair work on the 2nd AC as well. I have found that lot of people are having problems with the PCB which are really costly. Apparently Daikin is now providing 5 years warranty on the PCBs which was not there when I purchased the AC and so I think its very unfair that I have to pay so much to repair an unreliable product which the company already knows about. I did not expect this kind of poor quality product from Daikin and now I wish that I had not purchased from Daikin. For reference, I have 2 more ACs in my house 1 LG and 1 Onida, both of which are working absolutely fine even after more than 10 years.
    I request Daikin to get in touch with me and provide me a solution where I dont have to bear the cost of repairing a factory defect in their product.

    There is still no response from Daikin regarding my matter. My AC is still with MountCool services since more than a week and I have to manage without it. Daikin customer care should immediately contact me for a solution on the matter.

      We have had continuous issues of the particular Inverter AC, right from the time we bought it, apparently with the PCB card. The card was changed twice and then we were forced to take the AMC last year, and when a similar fault came, the service engineer came and said the wires were reversed--phase and neutral. It kept working for a few weeks after that. Why it was never noticed by anyone before, or why it was fixed like that by an authorised Daikin engineer is anyone's guess. All the installation and services have always been done by Daikin authorised engineers. Now again the Daikin engineer says the PCB card is faulty. It is only fair that Daikin should fix this without any further charges to us.

        I had put in a service request # GHA[protected] for my AC which was not cooling. It was attended today (that is 12th Oct '20) by one engineer from H F Enterprises, Noida. I was told that the capacitor of the outdoor unit needed to be replaced. I was billed Rs.1440 for this job and I have already made the payment. I want to bring to your notice that I have paid Rs.1263 for the same job less than 5 months ago when the same part was replaced. This was under service request no.GHA[protected]. It appears that your engineer is not using genuine part. The original capacitor in the unit lasted for so many years since the AC was purchased and the replaced one did not even last 5 months. It is unfair and unjustified that I should be charged for this part again in such a short time. The amount paid today should be refunded back to me.

          I purchased a 1.5 ton inverter AC (Outdoor Model:RKH50QRV16- INverter) on January 24, 2016. As per the purchase conditions it has a warranty of 1 year and Compressor has warranty of 5 years. My AC got broke down (no cooling) in month of June, post which i complained with Daikin and there local partner Air Fesh Cooling solutions, Kolkata vistied my place. They told me that your mother board in outdoor unit is faulty and you have to get it changed, post that i got it changed for iNR 6, 000 bucks. However still the problem persisted. I again complained to air fresh solutions and raised a request at call center, post that they visited and said that there is a problem in the connection line. I git it rectified and the same was confirmed by Daikin engineers. Kindly note that inspite of that AC was non operational.

          I again complained and there local engineers confirmed in September that there was problem in Compressor and they will get it replaced.

          However there was no progress on the same inspite of me following up with there call center and Local engineers. Post following for days they confirmed me in October that the said model is obsolete and compressor is not available and they dont have any solution for the same.

          When i forced them and threatened to go to consumer forum they offer me discount of 30% on outdoor unit, which is nnot accaptable to me.

          I want my outdoor unit to be replaced and refund of INR 6000 paid to Daikin for mother board.

                We has purchased ac from vijay sales on 7th july which was delivered to us on 11th july and the installation was done after 1 week approximately.
                The ac installation guys were not trained enough as at the time of installation only they said the cooling is not happening then next day other guys came and did fitting and charged 6000 rupees for installation of ac. After that we had felt that the cooling is very less. Now it is working as fan only no cooling at all. We had raised complaint on 6th september and today we got person who said we have filled nitrogen gas in comprasor and now he will keep it as it is for 2 days so more 2 days gone. It's worst service ever.

                    I have purchased a Ac dated 08/08/20. invoice attached .It has been installed by Daikin auth service people. After installation Ac is not doing temp down. After so many follow up they people visited twice but couldn't find solution as they suggested there is fault in outdoor unit. Now they want to take it with them for repair.ihave paid for a new ac .why should i get my new ac repaired.
                    I will get no response from Daikin I Will be forced to raise the matter.

                      We bought our ac on 4th june 2020. But ac cooling is not upto the mark.. Then i complaint on consumer service of daikin then golden services attended the call in very unproffesional manner. They said gas is not in apppropriate quantity, then they refill after many days.. After 3-4 days again cooling is not ok. Again same complaint done, again golden services attended again gas refilling done, it happens several time nd still its not working properly. We want to replace this piece as we were given defective one. It was comendable effort on service centre part but how they can make good a piece which was defective.. So to avoid this nuisance and to save time and for customer satisfaction it is better to replace this by company.

                      Kindly see into this matter, the details of its bill is attached below.

                        I am very sorry to say that i bought a daikin split ac last year in july that time they didn’t install the outer unit properly and it started making too much noise... Initially it was soft and now it has increased its intensity... Last month i put up a complaint also for this... Did some temporarily solution for which one week it was ok and again it started giving me the same problem... On 23 july 2020 again i complained nobody wants to come and fix the problem... It’s so irritating now... If my problem shouldn’t be solved then i won’t keep quiet...

                          We bought an a/c on april 2019. We have been contacting for service since february 2020, but no one considered this complaint. We have one year warranty for our a/c and in this lockdown the warranty has been extended. At last, last week one person came from daikin company and issued a major complaint. We want to look over our a/c with warranty. So kindly send people for service.

                              I have purchased a daikin five star inverter air conditioner on 2-jun-2020. The invoice number is in-qsig-1159. As per daikin, warranty is valid only if it is installed by daikin authorized personnel. Daikin call center informed me that installation charges will be 599+tax, but the installation personnel charged the below amounts totaling 3650
                              Travel 400 - they do not have an answer if they are authorized to charge this
                              Wire 600 - they used the same wire to connect from mains to external unit and form external unit to internal unit, but claim that company provided wire does not withstand the load from main power!! It is not related to length.
                              Winding 150 - for applying tape on the insulation material!!
                              Extra charges - 100
                              Installation charges - 1500 if you buy from amazon, installation charges are 1500, otherwise 599+tax. Wonder how it matters to them where i buy. Is the installation different if i buy from amazon?
                              I have raised a complaint 2056324 in consumer help line. Daikin provided me their complain number vij[protected]. Without any resolution, the complaint is marked closed by daikin

                                I purchased your product of 1.5 ton ac model no.:-ftl50tv16w4 (3s)
                                On 23 feb. 2019 and after completion of 1 year cooling coil is damaged as per engineer said to us..
                                Is this your faulty product and reliable for only one year till your product under warranty..??
                                We paid a amount of 25k and after one year engineer said to paid more for changing cooling coil and gas filing charge approx.12k..
                                You are fooling us..
                                You have to think about this and solve our problem as soon as possible by changing this faulty product to new or repair our product.. And mind it we are not giving any more amount to you for this faulty product..
                                We do have other company ac product for about 5 years but we never have been suffered this type of complaint..

                                I will file a complaint under consumer court.. Shame a same product of yours.. We are very disappointed..
                                Never thought daikin have such type of complaint..

                                  I have been provided a defective unit of the daikin 1.5 ton split inverter ac that i purchased from reliance digital sector 29, gurgaon. I have been facing trouble with the unit from the day it has been installed.
                                  1. 5-jan-20: the air conditioner was installed by the reliance digital service team. Post installation, the engineer mentioned that he could not get the ac checked as it was winters and the compressor would only function when the ambient temperature is higher. He told us to test the ac during the summers.
                                  2. 16-may-20: when i used the ac for the first time during summers it did not work. Raised a complaint for the same and the service engineer from reliance filled the gas in the ac.
                                  3. 18-may-20: ac stopped working again. This time the reliance service engineer did external piping and filled the gas again and charged inr 5, 750 from me.
                                  4. 30-may-20: the ac stopped working again the reliance service engineer checked it multiple times and finally confirmed that the internal coils of the ac are faulty that is causing the problem.
                                  Since then, they have not replaced either the product, or the coil. They are not ready to refund the amount. Moreover, the service head mr. Manoj yadav, has stopped answering our calls.

                                    I bought two daikin ac three years ago. Models are ftkm50prv16.
                                    After free services we continued service with local service centre of daikin (Daikin smart service) in anand, gujarat.
                                    After some time they stopped answering us and the person whose name is mr. Sarfaraj is very arrogant and behaved rudely. Now the guy is not picking up the call nor answering my calls. After so many failed attempts we contacted the other local service guy and did services of both ac.
                                    Is this the proper way to behave with customers like this? Is this the services you provide after sales?
                                    After such experiences why should we continue with your brand?
                                    It’s better to buy new ac of other brands after such experiences.
                                    Please take care and take actions against such arrogant people. Believe in quality of service.
                                    Kindly provide me the better solution.

                                        I have purchased new daikin window ac from international electronic agencies amritsar on[protected]. It has caused a problem in the very next day. I requested mr. Jatinder singh, service engineer of daikin air conditioner in our area to fix my problem but he just replaced some original parts with the local manufacturer parts and then told us to sign satisfactory reports. Now the company is not interested to have communication with me and have started ignoring me. I want my ac to be replaced as it has not worked since the installation. I have spent money not for local manufacturing parts to be replacedwith original one when the unit is having manufacturing problem.
