I am writing this message to inform you that the AC "Model no. 32
Of your company "Diakin" has been not working properly since the last two years when I purchased it. I faced a lot of problems regarding cooling and wiring. In the start I am very pleased with the AC but after two months of puchasing it creates a lot of trouble..
I also called your engineer regarding this problem but all the time they told me that your AC is too old and didn't able to solve the cooling problem. As you know that the heating temperature of Delhi increasing day by day and this AC has not been cooling the room of my house properly.
Many times I called your engineer and ask for help but he told me that don't buy inverter AC as it creates problems..when i said i recently puchase another AC of same brand which is working properly.. your engineer told me that this AC is new and your AC is old thats why not working properly.. and every time they charge some amount . I am very disappointed with the behaviour of your engineer and with the AC servicer as well..
I hope you will take notice of my complaint and provide an affirmative response soon.

    HI,

    PCB problem arise just after 2 years and in 2 years I used maximum 40 days my Inverter AC which I Purchsed in Rs. 55, 000/- approx.

    Now your technical person initially told me that sensor are having issue, so new sensor cost will come Rs. 2150/- and not sure that after changing the sensor, unit will work. So told that try to change and check the sensor with other option then he charged us 500/- extra...after checking he told us sensor are ok, need to change PCB and cost will come around Rs 10, 000/-

    How can PCB got damaged for my inverter ac which used hardly for 40 days?

    I believe in India Daikin Inverter AC quality are poor.

      I am really worried about after reading all of above comments.My complaint number :CHE[protected]
      As currently I am also facing the same issue as mentioned above i.e.
      1. AC has stopped cooling after 2.5 years.
      2. Very poor customer service.
      3. DAIKIN doesn't have their setup rather they get it done via channel partners. I had to escalate the matter to their regional manager in Mumbai to get the service after 2 weeks, which literally means I have lost considerable amount of summer time even after having so called DAIKIN AC.

      I purchased 1.5 Ton Split inverter AC(FTKP50PRV16) in November2016 and this is my third year of it's usage and AC has stopped working.

      almost 10 days nobody turned up. After escalating the matter one guy came and did the check he told me that it could be a PCB issue with outdoor unit as outdoor unit's fan was getting stopped after every 10-15mnts. He told me PCB charges around 8k (not sure whether it's the correct price or not). technician told me that there is no guarantee for the PCB, as it's a electronic item.

      Really pissed off with the DAIKIN AC because my machine is comparatively new(just 3 year old) and I had paid a big amount of around 50k to purchase it and now it's down and I had to spend again around 10k to get it run and that too with no guarantee.

      They call them pioneer of inverter ACs and best in class but they are third class people manufacturing defective products.

      I want to know, how can their ACs PCB go down so quickly?

      Also, when they are not able to provide sustainability and durability to inverter ACs then they should recall all their models and pay back their customers.

      It's a real mental and financial harassment to me.

      I want a replacement of this inverter AC with normal AC now and I also want a reimbursement of the amount which I have paid against new PCB replacement.

        My name is shivam srivastava.my contact no which is registered [protected].
        I purchased split ac dated 16/06/2017.
        Gas leaked 2 times. One service has been done .Again gas leaked last 15 days
        I called the daikin consumer number and filled a complain that my ac is not giving cold air the compressor is working but it is not giving cold air. The technician came and did some work and in the end said that there is a gas leakage and 3000 rs will be charged to re fill. I have recently purcashed the ac it's been 2 years only, how can gas be empty so fast. And the leakage is not our fault it's the technican. Why do we have to pay the heavy price. I feel cheated. Please help

        Company cheated me
        60-70 call done by me in last 15 days. No action taken by you and your service center.
        Every time told that tomorrow your service will be done but only false comment.
        Last day one person call me and demand 3200 rupees for gas filling. Is it not cheating with customer.
        I claim in consumer forum for mentally torched. Good bye with bad service

          Dear Sir
          This is the complaint raised by dissatisfied customer of Daikin A/c, and hope will be resolved soon
          On 2nd June I have purchased y Daikin inverter A/c 1.5 tons model no: RKL50TV16U (Out door) from M/s Vasanth & co., Purasawalkam branch Chennai vide sales invoice no: [protected] dt 2nd June 2019, I was told that the installation will be done with in 48 hours but after my continuous follow up the installation was done by 10th June only, we could not check the performance of the A/c but signed the completion report for the engineer as he was in a hurry to leave. We checked the performance of the A/c for next two days but the A/c effect is not good which means we could not feel any chillness even after the setting the temp at 18 deg. We made a complaint to your customer care that the performance is not good - complaint no: CHE[protected] dt 13th June.
          There was an young gentleman sent by your service center named RK Services, Mogappair, Chennai 600 037 Ph[protected] mail id - [protected]@gmail.com who checked the out door unit and informed me that the Gas pressure is around 170 PSI(??) that is the reason why the chillness is very low, and without any consultation he has leaked the gas and made the pressure to 110 PSI, then the A/c stopped working completely and only the hot air was coming out from the indoor unit.
          Again I have raised the complaint and made frequent follow up with the service center who has not bothered to send any one finally again i had contacted your customer service who in turn contacted the service center and finally another engineer came and checked the unit and found that the pressure is gone down to 70 PSI from 110 PSI during the inspection time itself. He had suggested that he will top up the gas and the issue will be solved.
          But I stopped him from doing so, because I had spent around Rs 50, 000 to buy and install this A/c to get some chilled air thinking that I had purchased from a best product
          If I had to fill gas to get the A/c to function and get chilled air I would have spent around Rs 15, 000 and bought a second hand A/c and get the chilled air for some time.
          Now that I request you to kindly take this (out door) instrument back and get me another new one which is in working condition (with out filling the gas after installation ) as per your one year replacement warranty clause number 7. Failing which I will be constrained to make a complaint in the consumer court.

            Hi,

            I am writing this email to express my displeasure on after sale service provided by daikin .
            I live in singapore where i have Daikin ac as well and get excellent service .
            That is why i choose to buy Daikin in India as well . We bought a 1.5 ton ac ( without invertor )ac from one of the dealer in durg ( sigma electronic) . When we bought the ac we were told that there will be a installation fees of 800 to 1000 rs .

            When the installation guys from Daikin came to our house, they told that there were a lot of missing parts, we called the dealer who send over the parts . After installation the service center guys demanded for 1800 rs .and told that this is the charges . When we asked for bill they said they dont provide bill for installation . And the dealers sales bills should mention it .

            We were very tired of fighting with them and ended up paying them .

            We bought our ac on 18/03/19 and after a month and half only the cooling is really really very weak . And 3 days back the ac started giving very hot air .

            I called Daikin service center and asked for a sevice center to help us get it fixed .

            As our ac is still in warranty, just to be sure i reconfirmed the service center of charges . The service center people told that as the ac is still in warranty it will be free of charge .

            Next day the service center guy named “ Rohit” who runs the daikin servicing in durg chattisgarh called and told that he will send someone to have a look . He told someone will come in the morning between 10 -11 am to fix it . Up on waiting for whole day the service center guys called at 6 pm in the evening that they will be coming soon . I told them its already starting to get dark if there is a problem with the ac how will they fix it now . They said they have got all the spare parts .

            On coming home they just switched on the ac, the ac started giving cold air but the cooling was still very poor . And they said that the ac is completely ok as the temperature outside is very hot the ac is not working and they told the same to lot of customers as well . They also told that we should have installed 2 ton ac and gave suggestion to sell this ac and buy a new one . ( upon which i got very angry and told them that when they were installing the ac i had specifically asked for if this unit can cool the room and they had said yes 1 and half ton ac is more than enuf to cool the room) .

            They said its getting very dark and they need to leave and demanded for 400 rs as service charge . I asked them they just switched on the ac and off, no parts were changed than what is the service charge for . They said we are giving you service at your home after 5 pm, and we charge 5 rs per km if the area is more than 10 km aways from there service station . And that they charge the same for everyone . I called the customer service to confirm this and they said no this service is free of charge and customer service people also spoke to the service center guys not to charge us . After disconnecting the call the service center guys called their boss “ rohit” who started fighting with us for money and said that daikin does not pay him for ac servicing after sales .

            We ended up paying them 300 rs because they were not willing to go without taking money .
            This is completely unacceptable, daikin has given service center responsiblity to such cheat people who dont even give bill, and no proper service ( my ac is still not working well) .and harass people to extract money . I had such a gud experience with daikin in singapore for past 8 years but i regret buying it in India . There are so many other korean brands in india giving so much better service .
            I bought Daikin because of brand name outside India but i guess this experience completely ruined daikins brand name in my mind .

            My house is at a distance of exact 19.4 km from service center .

                I have lodged my complaint to daikin customer care (5th may 2019) regarding outdoor tripping problem and my ac was in warranty period. My complaint was assigned to KS SERVICES, KAKINADA (Daikin local service provider).I never received a call from service provider since then and after 1 week I made a call to the service provider and requested them to send the engineer on an urgent basis.They promised me the same and even after 1 week no engineer is visited to my home. On repeated follow-up one fine day engineer visited my home almost at 7pm around and told that my outdoor switch board got malfunctioned and need to be replaced.After that no communication received from service provider.on 25 may 2019 I again called to the service provider and asked them what happen to my complaint..they said we have ordered your spare part and it take almost 7 days..I waited 1 week and today I again called to the provider and it is found that no order has been placed at their end. With full frustration I called customer care to complaint about the service provider and it is told by customer care that my complaint has been closed..let me know HOW MY COMPLAINT IS closed without attending any thing..and second thing is being a service provider who has to call the customer it's you not me..I never received a single call from service provider since lodging my complaint..
                Is this the valuable service?

                Is Daikin doesn't know how to provide the service?

                In this 40 degree plus temperature i don’t know how long i have to wait after spending my hard earning to buy that ac, it is almost 31 days of my complaint now.I never wait now.

                I am very much disappointed with company response and still waiting for any positive reply. I never expected that kind of poor service response from the company like daikin.

                  I have purchased new daikin AC JTK model on 30th April but after sometime I found that air conditioning is not working properly even it’s on 20 and they are not straching cool air...very bad daikin...fake products it’s cost 54000.. after spending too much amount on air conditioner I m not satisfied with products fake product by company . Company is using only their name to exploit the market and they are not providing the products at customer satisfaction.                     I have purchased a 1 ton inverter ac from daikin last summer (18th may 2018), few days back my ac suddenly stopped working and i lodged my complaint to daikin customer care (12th may 2019) as my ac was in warranty period. My complaint was assigned to zeva enterprises (Daikin local service provider).

                    Technician from zeva enterprises visited my place on 12th of may 2019 and told that my ac pcb (Indoor and outdoor) is malfunctioned and need to be replaced. After his visit i was waiting for any update from zeva enterprises also called on their local number and called daikin customer care but every time i was told that they are working on my complaint and it will be resolved tomorrow (Their tomorrow never ends). Finally, technician appeared on 28th may from zeva enterprises after long waiting and follow ups but he only fixed indoor pcb and told that i again have to wait for outdoor pcb to get fixed as they don’t have outdoor pcb in the stock.

                    In this 40 degree plus temperature i don’t know how long i have to wait after spending my hard earning to buy that ac, it is almost 20 days of my complaint now.

                    I am very much disappointed with company response and still waiting for any positive reply. I never expected that kind of poor service response from the company like daikin.

                      I called the daikin consumer number and filled a complain that my ac is not giving cold air the compressor is working but it is not giving cold air. The technician came and did some work and in the end said that there is a gas leakage and 3000 rs will be charged to re fill. I have recently purcashed the ac it's been 2 years only, how can gas be empty so fast. And the leakage is not our fault it's the technican. Why do we have to pay the heavy price. I feel cheated. Please help

I mean what kind of service they are providing, I said I have made a consumer complaint he said do what ever you want if you complain nothing will happen

                        No followups has been done since then from moon aircon & service is terribly zero. According to last talk cooling coil needs to be changed but past 3 months they have not done anything. Reason can be heared cooling coil not in stock. But since 3 months it can be procured from anywhere in india
                        Moonair person mr. Manishbhai also not picking my phone.
                        Really feel depressed seeing such a service from daikin.

                        Request for full money back or change by complete new machine.

                        Today again service engineer came and they have changed my cooling coil.
                        But the problem remain the same..
                        Even the service engineer noticed it & mentioned that bad smell is coming.

                        As per discussed on con call with Daikin and your sub dealer/Channel partner you have mentioned the
                        process for refund of my money.

                        But I let you know that your Daikin Sub dealer/Channel Partner(Fourth Dimension Solution) is
                        not ready to accept the process suggested by you in any case.

                        Now I am a customer of Daikin on first level & your channel partner/sub dealer is just
                        a means of purchase. Daikin & Fourth Dimension solution should mutually decide & present
                        me my refund.

                        Too much time has been taken for such a small matter & I have lost much of my working
                        hours in this matter which none of you will compensate.

                          Bought Daikin S/AC 1.5 T Inverter-CTKP50SRV16/RKP50SRV16 on June 29-2017.
                          I got it installed from company on Dec 21-2017. Did not use the AC as it aws winters.
                          In summer 2018, I used the AC and got it company serviced in June 2018 and complained that the AC is cooling. The technician just did the cleaning and said it would work fine. I again raised a complain that season for the cooling but could not get it fixed due to the cold weather.
                          This season, I again complained and then the technician came. He said that there is issue with the PCB of outer unit. They charged and replaced it after a week.
                          The AC was not cooling and then he said that there is issue with the compressor and kept my AC for a week in their service center for replacement and testing. They again installed the AC which again was not cooling.
                          They again took the AC to their SC and said there is issue with the extension valve and i am still waiting to hear back from them about it for a week.

                          It's almost 1 month that I am struggling with this AC in peak Jaipur summers and still no resolution.
                          I am surprised that in one season this AC had so many issues, will it survive.

                          After sharing the details on mail, Daikin customer care contacted me and I stated the problem with the AC. Three technicians called me but I told them that the AC is not with me, it’s in one of their service stations.
                          There is a part extension valve which he says needs to be replaced. He raised the request with Daikin but for last 9 days he could not procure it from Daikin. I am still waiting for my AC to be repaired and fixed for more than a month in peak summer season.

                          It’s more than 1.5 months
                          I have spent over 10, 000 rupees
                          The following parts have been replaced in the outer unit.
                          1. PCB
                          2. compressor
                          3. Two valves
                          4. Done Nitrogen testing
                          Still the technician is not able to find and fix the problem. Looks like they are just earning money and doing test run on the machine.
                          There is nothing original left in the machine as all the parts have been changed.
                          This AC is pricey, useless, unreliable and high maintenance.
                          Do not recommend buying Daikin Inverter AC.

                            Please note that, i purchased jtkj35tv16u, inverter ac, 1 ton on 10/05/2019 from great eastern retail pvt. Ltd., rajdanga, kasba, kolkata - 700107. I opted cash purchase for urgent delivery. But received it delayed, on 14/05/2019. For installation i had to make several call to 'aggressive concern' (Local svc centre). Sorry to inform you that, after repeated requests the ac unit is not yet installed. It was informed by the above concern that, they could install it by monday 20/05/2019 only. I like to inform you that, service of this aggressive concern is extremely poor. I shall be obliged if you look into this matter as early as possible and try to change the local service centre for better service to the customers.

                              I purchased daikin split ac on[protected] from dealer tamanna enterprises alwar with one year warranty. After 2 months of purchasing the product in month of may, i started facing problem of loud noise with vibrations in outer unit of ac. I made a complaint on 14 may 2017 to daikin customer care and after 3 days engnineer came and repaired it temporarily. After 5 days again problem started and then i again made a complaint to the company. Then again engineer came and replace the fan of outer unit and problem disappeared temporarily. After 10-11 days i started to face the same problem again and then i again made a complain regarding it the company and they brought the unit with him at workshop and after 10 days outer unit was returned back to me with again temporarily resolve issue. And again after 20 days again the issue started. I requested the company many times to replace the outer unit but they denied with the reason that warranty period has been over. I want new replaced outer unit for my ac because i paid 40, 000 for new ac and a defective product was supplied to me at the time of purchase and also i started to make complaints to come this issue into company's notice with in the warranty period. Thats why i need new replaced outer unit for my ac.

                              No, my issue has not resolved yet, the daikin has not taken any appropriate step to solve the problem.
                              sir, Actually daikin dont want to solve my problem, they always tried a temporary solution in my issue. After complaint of 16 may the came to my home and again brought outdoor unit at workshop and done something in that and next day unit installed again. after 10 days it started noise again as like earlier. They have inserted some pieces of rubber in b/w different parts of outer unit so it has resolved for 10 days but now its like earlier. It is raising noise continuously .
                              Sir, again am saying that daikin has given me a defective piece. Now they are trying to resolving it temporary.
                              sir i am sharing some images of outdoor unit what they have done to repair it.
                              The only solution of this is to replace the outdoor unit. please try to resolve my problem sir.

                              Engineer said that The alignment of fan of outdoor unit is getting imbalanced so the unit is vibrating. he said to that we will change the fan blade of outdoor unit then the problem will solve and it will take 10 to 15 days.                                 This is to bring to you notice that i had purchased a split 1.5 ton diakin ac on 15th august 2017. The purchase details are as below: -
                                Invoice no. V. No - 109–1718sif 1671

                                Additional services purchased – additional warranty
                                Purchased from – vijay sales (Goregaon east branch, mumbai)
                                Its been almost 21 months from the purchase of the ac and not once free service or a additional warranty service has been provided. This must be the first instance & its extremely laughable for a reputed company to offer no free service or any service even during additional warranty period. Further i had called several times on the toll free number to follow up for the free service but no satisfactory response was given. I had called up the toll free number on 1st sept 2018 and was given only assurance and a complaint number – 1809e01 0006. No follow up call was done on this complaint. I had subsequently received a call from your call centre wherein the caller was very rude and offensive (I do not recollect the data but i am sure that given the excellent record keeping skill that diakin has you would have the dates). Because of this atrocious and pathetic lack of service inspite of repeated reminders, now i am not sure how much damage my ac must have suffered due to no servicing for so many months. Diakin is to be blamed for this apathy. This is gross negligence from daikon’s end and i will be demanding appropriate compensation.

                                Have waited long enough and now i have left with only one option that is to approach the consumer grievance cell or a competent authority nationally to ensure that you return my cash and take back the ac. For information i have dismantled the ac and kept it ready to be returned.

                                I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and return my money forthwith. I am not prepared to be saddled with an ac which has not been serviced for 21 months. I will be waiting for 15 days for the money to be returned back to me failing which i will be approaching the consumer redressal forum or an appropriate forum for redressal. I am not going to settle for anything less. I will be approaching the diakin india ho with this complaint soon. I am not expecting any response from the completely inefficient diakin team.

                                This will be my first and last instance of buying or dealing with any diakin products.

                                  Getting a bad smell from ac since i purchased, given complaint n number of times, they will come and clean the coils again problem repeats. If i ask for replacement no one is responding such a worst customer service from daikin. Don't go for daikin as its best product but service is worst.

                                    I brought an ac 1.5 ton. I registered an installation request at 08 am on 9 may 2019. At about 12 pm i got a call from jammu tele no [protected]. They advised me to cut the grill of the window which i did. At about 230pm engineer visited the site. The engineer was service engineer not installation service engineer. They had not a drill machine or a single nut with them. However they advised me to cut the window from side and make a iron frame which i did. I again called the tele no 5 times. They assured me that installation engineer will visit the site the on 9 may 2019. I waited upto 8 pm but the engineer did not visited. The temp in jammu is very high. No body came came to install the ac. I request all not to install daikan ac via cus care as the services are worst ever i have seen in my life.

                                    I have moved from hyderabad to vijayawada. i made a request with customer care on 9.05.2019 (Ref No.VIJ[protected], Cust Id:12235299 and i received a call from local office within 2 hours and informed that they will send technician by end of day. No one visited. I called several times no one is lifting the phone no.[protected]. Next day morning i was informed from local office technician that he will visit at 2PM . when i called at 2pm the tecnician informed me that he is engaged in other work and could not come. i called local office nearly 20 times but no response. No one is lifting the phone. I called customer care they gave vijayawada daikin head no. He never bothered to lift his mobile no (given by CC). I texted the issue . even he neither reply nor call back.
                                    Again i approached customer care o 10.05.2019 they put me in conferance call with local office. They said that they will visit at the end of the day. No response. i FEEL THAT BECAUSE OF SERVICE at vijayawada daikin sales might be affected.
                                    I STRONGLY FEEL THAT DAIKIN COMPANY IS VERY GOD BUT SERVICE IS VERY VERY BAD PARTICULARLY IN VIJAYAWADA.
                                    local office people they will call when they get pressure but they will not lift the phone to the customer.very bad service i never experienced like this.

                                    Their should be some timelines your staff are not capable in handling issue @hyderbad they just call listen to my issue and they will say that they will call back but I they don't have a habit calling back the customer...
                                    Do you guys really have monitoring mechanism.. no senior official is available here they don't speak to customer and respond their numbers in the extension which I have shared.
                                    Ms.leena from customer service also assured to get back to me based on the complaint even she failed...
                                    You guys are cheating customer by running fake customer service a tick mark activity more than providing solution and addressing the complaint ts.You don't look for customer satisfaction and giving value to customer money...40k is not a joke remember and don't play with us...

                                    I appreciate your response but their should be some timelines I need an appointment from your service head India at any cost pls provide appointment for 3mins that's it..
                                    Really sad to see people taking so much of time where customers are cheated by seller and your area managers and branch offices are not bothered..

                                      My complaint id is 20380210 dated 13/04/19. I am from ahmedabad, gujarat. I bought 6 new daikin ac for my new home. Initially there were problem in pcb circuit of inverter ac. They did not attend the complaint till 27/04/19. After mailing to senior authorities in daikin, service engineers from daikin visited my home on 28/04/19 and informed me that they will replace the pcb and they brought new pcb on 30/04, but that too was defective and then they told me that they will replace the outdoor unit. And later on 2 more pcb were not working. At present there are 3 pcb which are defective. And on 08/05/19 they are informing that they will not change the pcb or outdoor unit, because fitting is not done by them. But machine is brand new and it has 1yr warranty and pcb does not start even once, there is not fault in fitting, there is fault in ac, the new ac is defective.
                                      So i here by requesting daikin to replace the 3 outdoor unit and make the ac functional at the earliest.

                                      Kindly look into the matter seriously and solve the issue at the earliest.

                                      I purchased new AC unit one week before and got damaged outdoor unit.in addition to this, Post-installation, unit is not working properly and seem like it releases gaseous element causes suffocation and breathing problem.

                                        Hi recently i purchased daikin 1.5 ton ac 2 star from bajaj electronics punjaguta store on 4.4.2019, problem started from day1 they delivered indoor unit of 2018 model. And outdoor of 2017, i complained bajaj electronics person no response and not responded to my calls and your team has installed ac mentioned their will not be issue i tried reaching your area manager i think farooq he was unprofessional and not addressed the concern his number [protected] hyderabad,
                                        28days it working fine from last 4days it not working properly even in 18 room is not getting cooler even after 2hrs earlier in 15mins it use get chilled in 23no..
                                        From 2days i am contacting tor daikin secundrabad office team anisha has attended with landline ct no [protected] she supported and listened took babaj electronics manager in to call and abruptly disconnected the call and their after my calls are not attended attended.
                                        Tried reaching your call center and explained my problem.
                                        I am extremely surprised with the way everyone is handling the complaint very best service extremely disappointed. This is an international brand but very poor customer centricity.
